Ann Coulter: Media Magic — How a Democrat Pedophile Became a ‘Trump Scandal’

Strangely, the media have suddenly taken an intense interest in the case of pedophile and major Democratic donor Jeffrey Epstein.

In 2005, the Palm Beach police were told by the mother of a young girl in West Palm Beach that her daughter had been brought to the Democratic donor’s mansion and asked to have sex with him for money. This kicked off an intensive, one-year undercover investigation.

Breaking: In Surprise Move, Paul Manafort Sentenced to Under Four Years in Prison

Paul Manafort, perhaps the biggest “fish” to come from the Mueller investigation, has been sentenced today. Judge T.S. Ellis III presided over the proceedings. Manafort was convicted late last year of eight felonies, including tax fraud, defrauding banks, and hiding bank accounts from authorities.

It was recommended that Manafort be given 19-24 years for his deeds in this case, yet in a surprise move, the judge lowered that enormously to under four years in a federal penitentiary.

Documents Related to Pedophile Jeffrey Epstein May be Unsealed

An appeals court panel in Manhattan on Wednesday hinted they may unseal records in a settled defamation case brought by a woman who said she was a sex slave of billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The documents were collected when Virginia Giuffre sued Epstein’s former girlfriend, British socialite Ghislaine Maxwell, in 2015 for publicly denying that she lured her as an underage girl into Epstein’s harem.

Giuffre and Maxwell settled the case on the eve of the trial in 2017, sealing 167 documents that would have been aired in a courtroom.

Google Discusses ‘Steering’ The Conservative Movement

Google’s senior director of U.S. public policy, Adam Kovacevich appeared to describe the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) as a “sideshow Circus,” in a leaked audio recording in which he also argued that Google should remain a sponsor of the conference to “steer” the conservative movement “away from nationalistic and incendiary comments.”

The comments came to light in leaked audio files allegedly of a company-wide meeting at Google, part of which is now exclusively reported by Breitbart News. Another part of the transcript was released last Friday on Tucker Carlson Tonight, while further snippets revealing Google’s funding of establishment conservative think-tanks were published by the left-leaning tech magazine Wired in December.

The alleged meeting took place in the wake of Google’s sponsorship of CPAC in 2018, which triggered an internal rebellion from left-wing employees of the tech giant. Breitbart News exclusively reported on the revolt at the time, in which radical left-wingers inside Google accused CPAC of “ethno-nationalism” and “hate.”

Grocery Store Stabber Identifed by Police, Booked on Attempted Murder Charges

Manuel Bracker, 32, identified by police as the attacker of a 64-year-old woman stabbed repeatedly in a Fresno grocery, was booked on attempted murder charges, according to Fresno jail records.

The attack took place Wednesday morning at the Grocery Outlet near West Shaw and North Marty avenues in northwest Fresno, police reported.

The woman, believed to be homeless, was rushed to a hospital in critical condition after the attack. At the scene, Lt. Joe Gomez said investigators had many unanswered questions. It isn’t known whether the victim and her attacker had any prior contacts, or whether it was a random assault.

Officers also are trying to figure out why the fleeing suspect became involved in another altercation with the driver of a BMW, an incident that led to his capture and arrest.

The Inefficiency of Efficiency: Appliance Standards Often Cost More Than They Save

It is hard to find anything in Washington more inefficient than an efficiency standard for home appliances. Each standard can require more than 30 bureaucratic steps and generate thousands of pages of documents over several years, yet the end result often leaves consumers worse off. That was before the Obama administration’s Department of Energy decided to make the program even more troublesome for consumers by repurposing it into a global warming policy tool. Thankfully, the Trump administration is trying to inject some rationality into the appliance standards process, and these efforts should be welcomed.

In 1987, DOE began regulating the energy use of air conditioners, refrigerators, washer/dryers, ovens, water heaters, and just about everything else that plugs in or fires up around the house. Ever since, the agency has periodically revisited and tightened these standards, as many as four times for some products.

The goal is to reduce energy bills, but even DOE admits that for some consumers, these standards raise the up-front price of appliances more than what will be earned back in the form of energy savings. This was particularly true of air conditioner standards but also refrigerators and several others. Low-income and senior households are most likely to experience net costs, according to the agency.

Beyond costs, the regulatory overkill also hurts product performance. You can thank DOE standards for your new dishwasher that takes hours to finish a load and thank them again the next time you have to clean and disinfect your high-efficiency clothes washer to get the stink out. Apparently, efficiency with regard to people’s time is not something the agency experts value.

Then, the Obama administration decided to draft America’s appliances into the climate wars. Reducing the greenhouse gas emissions attributable to appliance energy use became the rationale to further ratchet up already-stringent standards. The Obama DOE did so explicitly by including the so-called social cost of carbon in its analysis, but also implicitly by putting a finger on the scale supporting more aggressive standards. In eight years, the Obama DOE set 44 appliance standards, a record for any administration. At every step, they were urged on by a surprisingly large number of activists and consultants who make their living off this issue.

But elections have consequences, and the Trump administration holds very different views both on global warming and on whether bureaucrats in Washington should be dictating to consumers their choices in home appliances. The Trump DOE has greatly slowed the pace of new regulations and offered some modest changes to the way they are set, such as forbidding new standards if the consumer benefits are insignificant.[…]

Trump: No Dem Primary Debates on Fox? Then Let’s Bar “Fake News Networks” From Gen-Elex Debates

Can you feel the excitement? We’re this close to ending the presidential-debate circuses. And here we thought that it might be too late to stop the degradation of American political culture!

This started yesterday after DNC chair Tom Perez took a moment out from his fundraising failures to announce that Democrats wouldn’t trust Fox News to run a primary debate in the next year-plus. Despite the fact that Fox hasn’t hosted a Democratic presidential primary debate since the 2004 cycle, the dig got the attention Perez wanted.

EC Reports Italy to ECJ on Smog, Sewers

Decision made official

(ANSA) — Brussels, March 7 — The European Commission on Thursday reported Italy to the European Court of Justice over smog and sewers.

The EC said it was citing Rome for repeatedly breaching the permitted levels of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) in the air and a failure to improve sewage water treatment systems in small urban centres.

As for smog, Italy was already reported to the ECJ in May for breaking fine particle PM 10 levels.

On sewage water, Italy is already paying millions of euros in fines.

‘Hard But Smart’ Brexit Would ‘Not Put British in Worse Position Than EU’, Admit German Economists

Top economists at Germany’s Ifo Institute have admitted that a “No Deal” Brexit — “Hard Brexit”, according to detractors, or “Clean Brexit”, according to proponents — would not leave the United Kingdom any worse off than the European Union, unless it was executed extremely poorly.

“[S]uch a strategy would be hardly rational for London and technically perhaps not feasible,” he suggested.

Italy: Teen Girl May Have Been Dismembered by Migrant Drug Dealer While Still Alive

One of the most shocking reports to come out of the trial for the murder of Italian teen Pamela Mastropietro is that she may have been dismembered while still alive.

The revelations come following testimony from Vincenzo Marino, a key witness in the trial of Nigerian drug dealer Innocent Oseghale who is accused of killing the Italian 18-year-old last year, Il Giornale reports.

Marino said that the Nigerian drug dealer stabbed the Italian teen immediately after having sex with her. “They had a fight, they pushed, Oseghale stabbed her in the liver and after a first stab Pamela fell to the ground,” he said.

The witness went on to add that following the initial stabbing, Oseghale left the scene to fetch another man to help him dispose of Mastropietro’s body and then “returned home, convinced him that Pamela was dead and started dismembering from the foot.”

The Nigerian is then alleged to have stabbed the teen again after she allegedly tried to cry out.

Forget $8 Billion: Company Will Build 234 Miles of Trump’s Border Wall for $1.4b

Telling the Washington Examiner that President Trump is overpaying, Fisher Sand and Gravel Company CEO Tommy Fisher says his company can do the job for just $1.4 billion, or $4.31 billion if the US government wants to incorporate paved roads and border technology — plus a warranty!

“Our whole point is to break through the government bureaucracy,” Fisher told the Examiner. “If they do the small procurements as they are now … that’s not going to cut it.”

Of the $8 billion Trump is hoping to spend, he already has $1.375 billion of that amount from Congress, which can only be used to build fencing in the Rio Grande Valley. Trump is seeking to repurpose another $3.1 billion in defense funding for more border wall and $3.6 billion more through his emergency declaration that Congress and the courts will challenge. —Washington Examiner

According to Fisher, the $1.4 billion would cover 20 miles of levee wall in the Rio Grande Valley, along with an additional 214 miles in the surrounding area. According to the bill Congress passed to approve said funds, the construction is restricted to the Rio Grande region, and was originally slated to cover around 55 miles of steel slat fencing.

According to a representative of the Army Corps of Engineers, the Trump administration has yet to decide how the $8 billion Trump wants to spend will be allocated.

Could Abortion be Mandatory Under the Totalitarian Democrats?

There is a new storm brewing. The new wave of young socialists in Washington has dangerous and anti-American ideas. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her misguided cronies want to impose extreme totalitarianism on us through the ruse of the Green New Deal Trojan horse. She wants to save the planet by destroying the nation. Of all her cockamamie ideas, the one that worries me most is her discussion about young people maybe not having children to save the Earth. When socialists say these things, that is their Newspeak for everyone else to avoid having children.

How would socialists accomplish this? They would start by outlawing private health insurance. This is already being discussed by some. Then the single-payer government plan would have total power over health care. As happened in China in the 1970s, they could mandate how many children you can have. This would be enforced with mandatory sterilization or abortion. Hospitals and doctors would be forced to do abortions on government command or lose payment or licensure. With government overseeing social media, one could not post pictures of his children if he tried to avoid this by delivering at home. Would these unauthorized children then be seized or exterminated to “save the planet”?

I hope none of these nightmares comes to pass, but we have to think of the worst scenarios to avoid them. The socialists cannot be allowed to control America.

Transgender Madness

While we all go about our daily lives, transgender advocacy organizations have pushed changes in the military, sports, our schools, even the pageantry world. As a society, we haven’t been accorded the opportunity to have an honest, comprehensive national conversation about transgender issues and whether individuals should be free to transition absent scientific proof. Debate has been carefully stifled by the proponents of all things transgender, issues are not presented as questions but foregone conclusions, and any credible opposition is “transphobia” and “hate” punishable by public humiliation—people lose their jobs, credibility, memberships in organizations; they’re excommunicated from social media, harassed, labelled, and doxxed if they dare question the trans-orthodoxy of the Democrat-Media Complex and LGBTQ Mafia.

Ironically, there is no deference to science on these issues unless radical academics can contort the science to fit the cause…

The line should be simple: If an individual wants a sex change with surgery and hormone therapy, the threshold should be genetic testing to determine if they are truly intersexual. If they are and successfully transition, they should be treated as the man or woman they become, entitled to legally change their birth certificate, check male or female whenever relevant, use the appropriate bathroom or locker room, compete in sports and the military as per their gender, and be addressed with the appropriate pronouns and titles.

If they do not pass that threshold, they should be free to undergo sex reassignment surgery and hormone therapy as they wish — this is, after all, America — but not on the taxpayer’s dime or through private insurance, driving up the cost of insurance. UK Women Promote ‘Birthstrike’ Baby Ban to Prevent ‘Eco-Armageddon’

A group of UK women worried about “ecological Armageddon” are urging others to sign up to a pact pledging not to have children.

Founder of BirthStrike, Blythe Pepino, said she was moved to create the now-60-member-strong community after reading publications from the United Nations’ (UN) climate change body left her feeling like the world had “no future”.

“I do have a partner and would like to have children with him. We’re really in love, and it feels like the right thing to do,” the 33-year-old disclosed.

Utah Teacher Forced Student to Wash Off Ash Wednesday Cross on Forehead, Family Says

A Utah elementary school teacher apologized to one of her Catholic students Wednesday — and may still face disciplinary action — after she forced him to wash off the Ash Wednesday cross on his forehead, the boy’s family said.

William McLeod, a fourth grader at Valley View Elementary School, received the ash marking — made in the shape of a cross and applied by a priest — for the Catholic religious day that signals the start of the Lenten season and then went to school in Bountiful, Fox 13 reported. He told Fox 13 he was the only student who had ashes.

  1. The Inefficiency of Efficiency: Appliance Standards Often Cost More Than They Save…

It’s like in business, we found out that vans with bigger engines eat less fuel, just by the virtue of big strong engines being able to run a van full of equipment on half throttle, whereas the small engined vans had to be pushed full throttle all the time.

Or our European vaccuum cleaners, with reduced power: They have half the power of the old vaccuum cleaners so that we can can take twice the time to vaccuum clean our houses.

And I just love modern mercury lights and LED lights: For 20 times the money of an old bulb we get one tenth of the light spectrum, if that, so that our eyes can suffer a wee bit more…

    • But don’t you feel more virtuous using inefficient/inferior products to “save” the “environment”?

Don’t use anything polluting to polish your halo.

    • I sure sure would like to know where all those expensive LED bulbs are. You can get a package of 12 at Walmart (60 watt equivalents) for $18.

      • Cheap in the US perhaps but not most anywhere else.

$40 USD for decent pack of 12 in Canada.

I must admit the life span of a good quality LED is good so the cost is somewhat fair.

      • I just made a quick search in our Czech intranet, and the price of a standard lightbulb LED – a 100W lightbulb equivalent – is 100 Czech Crowns, while the standard old lightbulb used to cost something like 5 Czech Crowns and we can still get them for 10 Czech Crowns today. But today they are not light bulbs anymore, today they must be called “heat bulb”.

The new LED eats 15W to supposedly produce a 100W light. That’s a lie, because the they save energy only by being able to produce strong light in a narrow spectrum, where the old bulb gives you a true “fire”.

    • In Canada, we have an ECO Fee added to the cost of any type of electronic device and many types of chemical products.

Basically it’s another tax disguised as a payment to ‘help’ the environment.

      Lightbulbs incur this fee.

      • I must add that our Conservative government of Rob Ford will be removing these fees this Spring. However, it is expected that the amounts we have been paying will probably be simply included in the actual price of the items.
The ‘tire tax’ will also be scrapped. That is the famous fee charged to aid in the recycling of old tires.
So, we will not be charged a separate ECO fee but the prices of items may simply rise an amount equal to the amount of the old fees.

Of course, there is also the 5 cent per plastic bag fee many stores now charge to ‘save the environment’.

The envornment gets worse and all this extra money simply disappears. O Canada!

      • So where does this eco-tax go? Who benefits? Oh, wait: another government agency creates another clerical job – or jobs- and thereby grows the economy.

    Anarcho-Fascism: Nature Reborn

    by Jonas Nilsson (Author)

Anarcho-Fascism: Nature Reborn deals with a multitude of important current issues, and presents a controversial and constructive starting point for an intellectual discussion on how the West can regain control of its own destiny. The book can rightly be described as a polemical pamphlet, built on solid arguments and full of references to other works, for those who wish to deepen their knowledge of the subjects discussed. The author does not shy away from issues that are considered taboo in contemporary society, as these subjects are crucial to future developments.
The title “Anarcho-Fascism” might seem contradictory at first glance, bearing in mind the classical view on anarchism and fascism. Is there really anything that unites these ideologies, and can offer a solution to the problems facing the West? Based on the author’s bachelor’s thesis in political science, the book goes beyond the strict limits of ideologies and gives alternative answers to many questions. It invites the reader to partake in a discussion of the false perceptions that are influential today, and what the consequences of this will be. It also offers possible solutions to avoid this likely future scenario.

    About the Author
Jonas Nilsson holds a BA in Political Science from the Swedish Defense University in Stockholm. Nilsson freelances as a political analyst, and is an experienced political dissident, in Sweden as well as in South Africa. He also has a broad knowledge of military skills and tactics, and experience from the French Foreign Legion and the Ukrainian conflict.

  3. Does John Bull hate Tommy because he’s ethnically Irish? It is the most bigoted disease in the British Isles.

    • I think it’s more a class thing than an ethnic one. From time immemorial, the English have been only too willing to live with a caste system that deprives itself of some of its best and brightest. Maybe it dates from the Norman Conquest? Whatever its origin, the class divide is crippling.

And the Irish are too uppity by far, always aping their betters. Thus, Tommy’s love of St. George’s flag is just one sign he doesn’t know his place.

      • This may be very true.

The Enlish folks I speak to here in Canada all say the same of Tommy: “He’s just a working class Neanderthal”

Great Unwashed indeed; they have no need to wash away all the dirt and blood from breaking their backs building the country and winning two World Wars; that grime is their rightful badge of honour.

      • Armenian RT will hardly tell you the truth.
You definitely won’t know anything about Russia except propaganda.

But the mood of the enemy reflected in Al-Jazeera should be interesting. Especially if the author is in the USA.

I watch the mood of Muslims very carefully.
Of course, it looks like manure digging, but what to do?

        • The “mood of the Muslims” varies from place to place. They operate on the Whim Theory, but their motivation never varies: spreading the Ummah by any means, fair or foul.

Of course, RT is propaganda, but you can learn a lot by reading propaganda.

So are Western MSM reports propaganda, but they’re not worth reading since their motivations are as clear as Islamic ones. Slightly differing, but just as clear. And when you find the MSM promoting Islam, it’s a double down dirty deed.
