CNN Hammers Beto’s ‘White Maleness’ 52 Times in One Day

CNN has discovered that Democratic presidential hopeful Robert “Beto” O’Rourke is a white male — and they are not happy about it. The cable network went into race-baiting overdrive following the announcement of O’Rourke’s candidacy, airing hours of feverish handwringing over whether Beto’s “white maleness” rendered him an unacceptable choice for the Democratic Party nominee.

MRC analysts looked at all of CNN’s coverage from March 14 (the first full day after O’Rourke’s announcement) and found 52 instances in which talking heads criticized Beto for being both white and a male. Those cases included only mentions by hosts, analysts, or outside journalists — not politicians or Democratic operatives.

Exclusive — President Donald Trump: Paul Ryan Blocked Subpoenas of Democrats

President Donald Trump is not happy that former House Speaker Paul Ryan blocked subpoenas of people and entities Trump thinks the House GOP should have been investigating during the first two years of his administration.

Trump told Breitbart News in an exclusive lengthy Oval Office interview that Ryan blocked issuance of subpoenas to people he thinks should have been investigated on the political left, and now that the Republicans no longer have the majority in the House, people Trump says Ryan protected may have gotten away with whatever they did that warranted investigation.

Trump said that House Freedom Caucus Chairman Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) and his predecessor and fellow conservative Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) wanted to be tougher with the left, but that Ryan would not let them.

“Paul Ryan wouldn’t give the right to have any subpoenas,” Trump told Breitbart News. “Okay? Now in all fairness, Meadows and Jordan and all these guys, they wanted to go tougher, but they weren’t allowed to by leadership.”

Trump’s comments came in a wider part of the conversation about how the left is more “vicious” than the right—and that the left in American politics plays “cuter and tougher.”[…]

Judge Tosses Lawsuit That Accused Trump Campaign of Conspiring With Russia and WikiLeaks

A federal judge in the Eastern District of Virginia threw out a lawsuit from three individuals who sued the Trump 2016 campaign for allegedly conspiring with Russia and WikiLeaks to hack and release Democratic National Committee emails. Two of the plaintiffs, Roy Cockrum and Eric Schoenberg, were DNC donors, and the third, Scott Comer, was a DNC staffer. All blamed the Trump campaign for their personal information being disclosed in the hacked emails. Judge Henry Hudson said that even if their allegations were true, they failed to properly state claim upon which relief could be granted.

Somali Woman Charged With Terrorizing North Dakota Neighborhood Previously Tied to Human Sex Trafficking Case

A woman recently charged with making terrorist threats in a small North Dakota town claims she is innocent and being targeted because of her race and religion. But a local news station reports that not only has she been repeatedly charged with crimes in multiple states, she was previously arrested for her connection to a nationwide case of human sex trafficking.

Hawo Osman Ahmed, 26, is charged with a Class C felony of Terrorizing stemming from an incident last November 29 when she confronted three women from her Grand Forks apartment complex with a knife. According to a Grand Forks Police Department affidavit filed in the case, Ahmed said to the women “I’m going to bust all your tires on your car and windows,” “Come over here I’m going to cut you,” and “I’m going to slice your neck,” all while holding the weapon.

Tech Giants Are About to Face a ‘Reckoning, ‘ State Attorney Generals Warn

Some of the country’s most powerful state attorneys general are signaling they’re willing to take action against Facebook, Google and other tech giants, warning that the companies have grown too big and powerful — and that Washington has been too slow to respond.

For many of these top law enforcement officials, the fear is that Silicon Valley has amassed too much personal information about web users and harnessed it in a way that’s jeopardized people’s privacy and undermined competition, often without much oversight.

EU: Telling Europeans What to Think

The first European Media Literacy Week, an initiative of the European Union, will take place March 18-22 in various European cities. The week is a new initiative by the European Commission, putatively “to underline the societal importance of media literacy and promote media literacy initiatives and projects across the EU”. The European Commission explains its policy of strengthening ‘media literacy’ within the EU — which could have been a noble and useful initiative — the following way:

“With the rapid rise of digital technology and its increasing use in business, education and culture, it is important to ensure everyone can understand and engage with digital media.

“Media literacy is vital for economic growth and job creation. Digital technologies are a key driver of competitiveness and innovation in the media, information, and communication technology sectors.”

As part of its “Digital Single Market” strategy, the European Commission addsflimsily:

“Media literacy concerns different media (broadcasting, radio, press), different distribution channels (traditional, internet, social media) and addresses the needs of all ages… A high level of media literacy is a key factor to enable citizens to make informed decisions in the digital age. Media literacy is a pre-requisite for a vibrant, modern democracy.”

One does not have to scratch the surface much, however, before it appears that at least certain aspects of the European Commission’s Media Literacy policy are less about enlightening citizens, than about heavy-handedly guiding them on what to think.

Italy to Sign Silk Road Memorandum Says Conte

PM seeks to soothe League misgivings

(ANSA) — Rome, March 15 — Premier Giuseppe Conte on Friday confirmed that his government intends to sign a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese government for its Belt and Road Initiative. The huge infrastructure plan aims to create a sort of modern Silk Road, with rail, road and port projects.

“Yes, the memorandum will be signed,” Conte said. “The memorandum is a non-binding framework agreement. It is not an international accord”. The moved came despite government tension between senior partner the 5-Star Movement (M5S), which welcomes the deal, and junior partner the League which has warned against alleged colonisation.

Deputy Premier and Labour and Industry Minister Luigi Di Maio, the M5S leader, said that signing up for China’s infrastructure initiative to create a sort of modern Silk Road will boost Italy’s sovereignty rather than reduce it.

“Today the Made in Italy brand wins,” Di Maio said after a meeting with Premier Conte and other senior government figures.

“Italy has decided to be more sovereign with the Belt and Road Initiative.

“It is not a political agreement with China but a trade opportunity.

“Indeed, the United States remains our main ally and NATO is our natural home.

“The US have no cause to be concerned, they remain our main ally. I admired Trump when he said America First, and I say Italy First, we want to safeguard the interests of our entrepreneurs who want to take Made in Italy around the world. “This is a surge forward by Italy, a change of pace towards the future”.

M5S sources said the government would give the green light to the memorandum, to be signed with visiting President Xi Jinping later this month, “without any major modifications to the framework agreement”.

But League sources said “checks” would have to be made on how far the deal affects Italy’s telecommunications and ports sectors.

“National security comes before everything else,” they told reporters.

“Only then does the interest of the Italian economy come into it,” they said. Conte sought to allay fears, saying that “we are the only ones to have stressed respect for EU rules” and underscoring that “we will reinforce golden power to reinforce national interests”.

He stressed that “strategic assets are not covered in the memorandum”.

Italy: Ruby Witness Imane Fadil Dies, Said Was Poisoned

Murder probe opened

(ANSA) — Milan, March 15 — A Moroccan-origin model who was a key prosecution witness in the ‘Ruby’ underage prostitute trials involving ex-premier Silvio Berlusconi has died after claiming to have been poisoned.

A murder probe has been opened, police said.

They said she had died after a “month of agony”.

She was awake until the end despite progressive organ failure. Imane Fadil, 34, died March 1 at the Humanitas Clinic at Rozzano near Milan where she had been admitted at the end of January.

She told her relatives and lawyer that she was afraid she had been poisoned.

Berlusconi was cleared of paying for sex with an underage prostitute after judges said he did not know Ruby was a minor.

He has since been embroiled in cases of allegedly bribing witnesses to lie about the real nature of his bunga bunga sex parties.

License to Charge! James Bond to Drive Electric Aston Martin in Next Movie

According to a story in British tabloid newspaper The Sun, James Bond will be ditching gas-guzzling V-8s and V-12s in favor of an eco-friendly electric car for the next installment of the franchise. Of course, because it’s James Bond, his new EV will still be an Aston Martin. An unnamed source told The Sun that the film’s director is “a total tree-hugger” who has been working with Aston to get one of its upcoming electric cars ready for the movie. The source said the EV is “going to be the center of an incredible action sequence” and went on to add that the movie will still have “all the high-tech gadgets” that we expect from a Bond vehicle.

New Zealand Attacks: Repercussions and Perspective

by Srdja Trifkovic

Terrorist attacks against Muslims in the Western world are extremely rare. This morning’s carnage in two mosques in New Zealand, with the death toll currently at 50, is the first major event of its kind since the Quebec City mosque shooting—over two years ago — which killed six persons.

(As for the alleged “Islamophobic incidents” in general, overwhelmingly they are either unverifiable or too trivial to be taken seriously.)

While 56 dead in two years is 56 too many, this regrettable incident will dominate the headlines infinitely more than any comparable carnage involving Christians, notably the 2017 Palm Sunday church bombings in Alexandria; it killed 45 people, and was all but ignored by the Western media and politicians. The developing frenzy of compassion with the victims of Christchurch will result in a number of mathematically predictable consequences:…

New Zealand Mosque Terrorist Described Himself as an “Eco-Fascist” Who Hated Conservatism & Admired Communist China

“Conservatism is dead, thank god,” he also wrote, bemoaning the fact that conservatives did not see everything through the lens of race.

Describing the arc of his political journey, the killer said, “When I was young I was a communist, then an anarchist and finally a libertarian before coming to be an eco-fascist.”

10 thoughts on “Gates of Vienna News Feed 3/15/2019

  1. May the pope enjoy a long painful death as reflected by the distain he shows to his flock.
I like some of the qualities of the pope. He isnt scared to support the catholic faith’s enemies at the expense of those he represents. And as a result, i hope he isnt scared that he or his family members are subjected to the same violence and pain for which he commisserates.
With luck, the pope shall be subject to a muslim experience that takes him into the fire and brimstone that awaits. And…………..may it be soon.

  2. Two observations to muse upon

A photograph of one the antipodean shooting victims being wheeled out on a stretcher shows him displaying the one fingered ISIS salute.

The British parliament held a one minute silence for the victims on the other side of the world yesterday, 15th March, at 1100 hours as the news was still breaking – it did not hold a minutes silence for the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing until one year later on the first anniversary. Westminster priorities indeed.

    • @Seneca: yes, that photo of the graybeard Muslim on the stretcher with raised IS finger is being shown without comment by the principals/publishers at Daily Mail, RT and ABC in Aust. that I can see so far.

Cute how the globo-jihadophile lamestream media “forget” on command whatever they have scribbled in previous years:

      http://archive.is/7sStb

This NZ NewsHub report from June 2014 says, (and notwithstanding that IS and Al Qaeda are creatures of the US/NATO in the end game with Belt and Road China and commodity-rich Russia, inasmuch as they have handily subvertible Muslim minorities):

“A Christchurch mosque has been linked to the drone killing of New Zealand al-Qaida suspect Daryl Jones.
The parents of an Australian killed alongside Jones say their son was taught radical Islam in Christchurch, where he also met Mr Jones.
Christopher Havard was killed alongside Mr Jones by a US drone in Yemen last year.
His parents, Neill and Bronwyn Dowrick, say their son told them he was first taught radical Islam at the Al Noor mosque in Addington.
Mr Havard moved from Australia to New Zealand in 2010. He’s remembered at the mosque by the name of Saleem Khattab.
“[He was] no different than other people,” says mosque president Mohamed Jama. “He was a normal man.”
Mr Havard’s parents say it’s at the mosque he met fellow convert Mr Jones, who was known at Muslim Bin John.
But the mosque can’t remember Mr Jones, and denies teaching radical Islam.”

  3. 40 Christians killed in attacks in Nigeria

    Not in the news

    • We’ll say it’s because they are Christians. The lefties will say it’s because they are black, and in Africa, and blame the ‘right’ for not reporting it.

      • Salome

No, the leftists won’t say a word, they would rather choke than ever defend a Christian under any circumstances. They most emphatically do not want any Christian persecution reported. Don’t kid yourself that the left really cares about Black people, any more than they do about women. It’s all fake, all part of the same quest for power.

Don’t take my word for it. See it happen. Or rather, not happen.

  4. Re: the Candace Owens reference — It is completely sinister and dishonest to try to blame conservatives and those on the political right for atrocities like the mosque attack. In this case, it is not even clear that the perpetrator was a conservative. He seems not to be. Most people condemn this type of action, and most people also think that immigration needs to be handled carefully, which is not currently happening in Europe and elsewhere. Many people concerned about recent immigration are concerned because they see it as an attack on the nation- state and an inroad for the globalist one-world communist government. The globalists and the extreme left are using the issue to demonize conservatives with legitimate concerns. It is shameful.

  5. Pelosi, Ilhan, Rachida and other critters want to lower the age of voting to include immature, superficial children. Children play with children:

Kids of a feather flock together.

Have you seen Governments governed by kids?

Pope sympathises with : When did pope sympathise with Massacred Christians in Egypt, Nigeria and Gaza?

Oh I know, he cannot face the awaiting rage.

  6. I really don’t find much honour in shooting unarmed people, even if they are the people wouldn’t blink an eye in the same situation. Real culprits for today’s “state of the West” sit somewhere else and that place is certainly not a mosque. Btw shooter spat in face of all great men whose names he plastered all over his guns. None of them engaged civilians, unarmed on top of that. On one hand one can blame it on shortcomings in his education, on the other I can understand he fought only way he could, correctly thinking we are not in conventional war. We are not, far from it.

But again our real enemies are like us, they look like us, and they preach to us their fake virtues far away from consequences of their politics, usually surrounded with three tiers of heavily armed guards. With those among us defeated, members of the religion of peace are nothing and with a good chance of finding themselves to some nicer place, where Allah is king. One way ticket in hand.
