Gates of Vienna News Feed 3/14/2019

A gunman armed with automatic weapons entered a mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand and began shooting at members of the congregation. The reported death toll ranges from six to thirty, depending which news source you read. Some outlets report the shooter’s name as Brenton Tarrant. As far as I could tell as of post time, the gunman is still at large.

In other news, the House of Commons voted in favor of delaying Brexit, despite the fact that the majority of Britons do not approve of the delay. President Trump said it was unfortunate that Theresa May did not take his advice.

At a 10-Year High, Wage Growth for American Workers Likely to Keep Accelerating

It’s been a long time coming, but American workers are finally reaping the rewards of one the longest economic expansions ever. And they may get rewarded still.

Hourly pay earned by the typical employee rose sharply in February, pushing the increase in wages over the past year to a 10-year high of 3.4%.

The last time wages grew that fast was in early 2009.

Bombshell: Strzok Told Congress Robert Mueller Never Asked Him About Anti-Trump Texts

On Thursday morning, Rep. Doug Collins (R-Ga.) published a transcript of a June 2018 interview FBI Agent Peter Strzok gave to members of Congress before he was fired in August 2018 over anti-Trump texts between him and his lover, Lisa Page. Strzok had worked on three important investigations: the FBI probe into Hillary Clinton’s emails, the FBI investigation into possible Trump-Russia collusion, and the Trump-Russia probe headed by special counsel Robert Mueller.

After the anti-Trump texts came to light, Mueller booted Strzok from the special counsel probe, but according to the FBI agent’s testimony, Mueller’s team never asked him whether the anti-Trump bias revealed in his text messages impacted his investigation of alleged collusion between Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia.

Elkhart Woman Accused of Helping ISIS is Set for 2020 Trial, Attorneys Say

As attorneys get deeper in the confidential information in the case of a former Elkhart woman accused of supporting Islamic State fighters, the defense said they expect a “great debate.”

At a hearing Thursday, attorneys said they were still on track, though, to go to trial in January for Samantha Elhassani.

Elhassani, 32, has pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to provide material support to the Islamic State group, also known as ISIS, and aiding and abetting individuals in providing material support to the Islamic State group.

The government and defense have differed on their view of Elhassani’s role in the case. Prosecutors argued that Elhassani knowingly followed her husband, who was interested in joining ISIS, to Syria, putting her children in danger. The defense said that Elhassani was a victim of “domestic violence and patriarchal abuse” who had to follow the “crazy man” she married.

FBI Agent Peter Strzok Escorted Out of Office Last Friday — Kept Hidden Until Today

According to multiple confirmed reports last Friday FBI Agent Peter Strzok was escorted out of the building. His employment status is unknown/pending.

According to the DOJ Office of the Inspector General a referral for conduct review was sent to the FBI Office of Professional Responsibility for several people outlined within the IG report. Presumably Peter Strzok was part of that OPR review process.

Coincidentally, or not considering the delay in reporting of the escorted removal, today Mr. Strzok’s attorney had an Op-Ed in The USA Today defending his client. It would appear the article —published today— was written after Mr. Strzok was escorted out of the FBI. Apparently, with the Op-ed published, a green-light was given to release the information surrounding Strzok’s hidden status.

A letter from Peter Strzok’s attorney accompanies the latest news:

John McCain Aide Spread Steele Dossier Around Washington During Trump’s Presidential Transition

David Kramer, the John McCain aide who leaked the discredited Christopher Steele dossier on President Trump, testified in a libel case that he spread the unsubstantiated anti-Trump material all over Washington during the presidential transition.

Mr. Kramer, a former State Department official and a Trump detractor, leaked dossier material to the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post’s Fred Hiatt, CNN’s Carl Bernstein, National Public Radio, McClatchy news service and others, he said.

But his most momentous meeting was with Ken Bensinger of BuzzFeed. In Washington during the Christmas holidays, he let Mr. Bensinger read the dossier. He then stepped away.

Peter Strzok: Clinton, DOJ Struck Deal That Blocked FBI Access to Clinton Foundation Emails on Her Private Server

Fired FBI agent Peter Strzok told Congress last year that the agency “did not have access” to Clinton Foundation emails that were on Hillary Clinton’s private server because of a consent agreement “negotiated between the Department of Justice attorneys and counsel for Clinton.”

That agreement was revealed in newly released congressional transcripts from Strzok’s closed-door testimony at the House Judiciary Committee on June 27, 2018.

When asked by then-majority general counsel Zachary Somers if “the Clinton Foundation was on the server”, Strzok testified that he believed it was “on one of the servers, if not the others.” But Strzok stressed that due to an agreement between the DOJ and Clinton, they were not allowed to search Clinton Foundation emails for information that could help in their investigation.

Spencer Dam on the Niobrara River is Compromised

SPENCER, NE — Officials say a dam in north central Nebraska has been compromised.

Reports say the Spencer Dam is 91 years old and was formerly used to generate hydroelectric power.

USC, Yale Among Colleges Sued by Students Amid College Admissions Scandal

The University of Southern California, Yale and several other elite colleges are being sued by multiple college students who claim they were denied a fair opportunity for admission and have had their degrees devalued due to a college cheating scheme detailed by federal officials Tuesday.

The initial plaintiffs, Standford University students Erica Olson and Kalea Woods, filed a class-action lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California on Wednesday, a day after federal authorities said they’ve uncovered one of the largest college admissions scams ever seen in the U.S. The lawsuit seeks $5 million on behalf of what the lawyers estimate will be thousands of plaintiffs who fit the criteria to seek class status.

The preeminent globalist politician, who’s perhaps best-known for leading his countrymen into the Iraq War before he vacated government to assume several exceedingly profitable advisory and speaking roles which netted him tens of millions of pounds, has been covertly briefing France’s embattled President on how to prevent the UK from leaving the EU.

As PM May Moves to Delay Brexit, Here’s All the Times She Promised it on Time

Theresa May has managed to pass a motion in favour of extending Article 50 negotiations with the European Union, which would delay Brexit beyond March 29th — something she repeatedly promised she would not do.

After her own proposed deal with the European Union was rejected by the House of Commons in a so-called “meaningful vote” for a second time, the Prime Minister did not tell MPs the country would therefore leave the bloc on March 29th as scheduled in the European Union (Withdrawal) Act, but instead put a Government motion to the House in favour of extending negotiations.

Mrs May says Brexit could be delayed by three months, to 30 June, if MPs back her deal in a vote next week.

If they reject her deal again then she says she will seek a longer extension — but any delay has to be agreed by the 27 other EU member states.

Denmark in a State of Unreported Collapse

The media portrayal of Denmark as a country hostile and inhumane to migrants is misleading, if not completely false.

One reason for the inaccurate picture is that it is painted by journalists’ political bias. Another is that trustworthy official Danish statistics on the country’s immigration problem are both difficult to find and even harder to interpret. A further problem is a lack of reliable research, at best; and purposely distorted data, at worst.

Subcontinental Complications

Last month’s suicide bomb attack in the disputed province of Kashmir, which killed 40 members of India’s security forces, suddenly brought two old rivals to the brink of war. India and Pakistan had fought three of them between the Partition and 1971. They have been at peace since, uneasy at times, which provides evidence for Martin van Creveld’s old thesis that nuclear proliferation may have stabilizing effect at regional level.

The British hastily left India in 1947, and the two main successor states’ borders were drawn in blood. The Partition was a messy business, with the border established along the supposedly temporary “line of control.” Pakistan’s claim is based on the fact that the majority of 7 million people inhabiting India’s state of Jammu and Kashmir are Muslim, to which India responds that all Kashmiris are lucky to live in a secular state and not in a jihadist-infested hellhole. The Chinese, for good measure, claim a chunk of the former Kindom of Kashmir, on both sides of the Siachen Glacier, which provides them with a short but vital piece of land border with Pakistan.

There was no war this time, although the potential was considerable. The attack was carried out by Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM). It is based in Pakistan, like most other Jihadist groups which have killed hundreds of Indian security forces and civilians in recent years. In fact this was the most serious incident of its kind since the November 2008 Mumbai hotel attacks…

Multiple Fatalities in New Zealand Mosque Shooting, Gunman Still Active

An eyewitness told Radio New Zealand he heard shots fired and four people were lying on the ground, with “blood everywhere”.

Christchurch, New Zealand: Several people were reported dead when a gunman opened fire at a crowded mosque in the New Zealand city of Christchurch, during afternoon prayers Friday. The police have confirmed shootings at “two locations”. They have warned worshippers not to visit mosques “anywhere in New Zealand”. Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has reacted to the attack, saying the country was enduring one of its darkest days.

Local media reported up six people were dead and the South Island city was placed in lockdown as police hunted for an “active shooter.”

“A serious and evolving situation is occurring in Christchurch with an active shooter,” police said in a statement.

“Police are responding with its full capability to manage the situation, but the risk environment remains extremely high.”

The Masjid al Noor was filled with worshippers, including members of the Bangladesh cricket team.

One witness told stuff.co.nz he was praying in the Deans Ave mosque when he heard shooting and saw his wife lying dead on the footpath outside when he fled.

Another man said he saw children being shot.

“There were bodies all over me,” he said.

Unconfirmed reports said the shooter was wearing military-style clothing.

Police commissioner Mike Bush said all schools in the city had been placed in lockdown in response to “a serious ongoing firearms incident”.

Central city buildings, including the Civic Offices and Central Library, were also locked down…

Mother of 11-Year-Old ‘Drag Kid’ Who Performed at Gay Bar Says Child Protective Services Showed Up at Her Home

The parents of 11-year-old Desmond Napoles, a so-called “drag kid” known as “Desmond is Amazing,” have been investigated by authorities for alleged child abuse, confirmed mother Wendy Napoles via Instagram on Saturday.

As reported by The Daily Wire in December, Desmond, dressed in full drag, danced in a sexually suggestive manner on stage at a New York City-based gay bar called 3 Dollar Bill. As Desmond took off his jacket, howling men in the audience handed him dollar bills, as one might see at a strip club. The Daily Wire confirmed the existence of the disturbing “performance” but has chosen not to link to the exploitative footage.

Since the incident, authorities have been asked by concerned citizens to investigate the family for abuse. According to Life Site News, “Child Protective Services (CPS) investigated Desmond’s family, as did the New York City Administration for Child Services (ACS), the New York Police Department (NYPD), the Child Advocacy Center, the Center for Missing and Exploited Children, the Department of Labor, and the District Attorney’s Office.”

The boy’s mother said in a post that authorities have claimed the abuse allegations are “unfounded.” Wendy evidenced this with screenshots of such determinations via social media…

  1. Something brings Poland somewhere in the wrong place.
In Russia, there are also manuals on how to recognize a Jew in the Internet.
With a straightedge, I looked for signs of Jews on my face, and I found five out of 60 signs.   Although there are no Jews in our family. Even my spouse, who looks like Max Von Sydow, I found three signs of a Jew. He has a serious problem with the shape of the ear!

I think this should be more difficult in Poland – they have lived alongside Jews for centuries. Signs of a Jew, they should be much more. Let them take up a straightedge and carefully check.

The price we pay for it is however that from time to time we are exposed at excesses of this kind as has been reported by you. The ‘Tylko Polska’ (Only Poland) is a marginal newspaper of little (if at all) significance, but it is legal and may be legally sold in Poland. The reason for this is that there is no preventive censure in Poland.
btw. you are having rather odd hobby trying to find a signs of a Jew on your face.

      • It was a joke. I accidentally came across this training manual.

Strange metamorphosis began in this world.
        And you know about them.

  2. Comment from Russian LiveJournal on the event at Christchurch:

What surprised me was that in a comparatively small (about 400 thousand) and, to put it mildly, a city somewhat remote from the centers of Islam, and even with such a name (“The Church of Christ”!), There were two whole mosques. Google Maps is also the third one. The rest is not surprising …

    • Of course this is not surprising. When the people are ruled without their consent – as Merkel, Blair, Major, May several French presidents (going back to the 1970s) and the EU generally are doing (including all the resettlement agencies and their helpers (looking at you Catholic Charities, UN) in the United States; Little Mogadishu in Minneapolis or Lewiston, Maine were created) – people do reach their I’ve-had-enough moments. As individual tolerances vary, some will reach their boiling point moment earlier than others.

    • multi religious “freedom” has been spread by the humanitarian ideology/religion with many different international institutions. So you can find all these monsques everywhere, even in more remote places and much smaller cities (but you will find no sign of christ in most of muslim countries). Also in New Zealand and Australia most of the muslims come from Indonesia and other proximity countries. In any case I would not be surprised if it is all a false flag with the usual “lone” wolf, let free in another country from his own, in a much bigger political scheme.

  3. The kiwi cops have arrested four people with mental health issues..they believe that it’s a case of four lone wolf attacks..it was just a coincidence the four just happened to pick the same day to attack the mosques…nothing to see here.

    • The whole thing isn’t funny, but despite that, I still cracked a smile upon reading your comment.

All I ask is that Islamic terrorists be treated in the same manner. Terrorism is terrorism.

This link is blocked censored in New Zealand though else where you may be able to get it.
It looks like ISPs in NZ are blocking 4chan, LiveLeak, parts of twitter, face book, and any other site they think might share Christchurch videos or that might have terrorism-related content, or where they believe the shooter may have posted.

In its entirety, as I fear kiwis will be shut out of this. Seemingly fullsome, still a mess of a manifesto, blind alleys, giving things for journalists/media to seize on but it will take some thinking to figure out.

Sadly it will bring a demand for a more authoritarian system to New Zealand, in regards to free speech, expression, islamaphobia concepts, immigration debates, gun-laws, as being expressed in some blog commentators, politicians, etc..

NZ has about 46,000 muslims, 2012 census, about 1% of population, with many mosques in cities and out in the provinces.
NZ has agreed to increase refugee numbers per year, sorted by UN systems, plus signed up to the UN migration Pact late last year.
The welcome to all muslims is now out to support flowers and sympathy to all mosques.

This music was playing in part of the Christchurch shooter’s video.
It is not being covered in NZ media.
That accordion music was he was playing? It is a relates to a ‘Serbian war criminal’: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocW3fBqPQkU that is also the one who is in the band.

With the words and English subtitles.

Some strong comments on Utube made and some interesting aspects of the history on those guys.

There could be some connection there.
The shooter had spent some time in Europe and was very unhappy at the influx of migrants there as he says in his manifesto that shows how his screws unloosed in his head.
Is it a dummy pass to draw in a Serbian angle?

A sad day for the muslims who have lost family, and a black day for all New Zealanders and entanglement with the politics of immigration, islam, Australia, travel to Pakistan, North Korea, possibly Serbia, Bosnia, Kosovo, Albania, and whatever “Remove Kebab” means.

      • The “paste bin” link does work and has all the plain essentials. I have just checked.

Amazing to see politicians, experts, commentators, and media saying things, with a frame of setting a ‘fast’ agenda.

Then direct compare to that nihilistic manifesto, which it seems is being blocked in NZ.

It is sad to say 50 dead, 50 wounded, and sounds like quite a few seriously.

    • “A sad day for the muslims who have lost family…”

Sorry to say but I don’t foresee too many tears being shed for any followers of the religion of peace. Their history proves otherwise.

    • Meanwhile a Ukrainian woman and her family who run a successful restaurant in Auckland face deportation for not adding enough value to the economy – despite growing the business and employing several more people to when they took over.

      https://www.kiwiblog.co.nz/2019/02/the_shchetkova_petition.html

Apparently all the Indian taxi drivers and Chinese cleaners are adding something to the economy. Meanwhile the quota for ‘refugees” has risen in the midst of a housing crisis where many kiwis are forced to live out of their cars.

  5. The Muslims had it coming, I’m sorry to say. Their culture does not integrate well into any other. They should live in their own countries, and let the rest of the world live in peace.

    • Russian Muslims scream: “What a treachery!”
“Muslims never kill believers during their prayers.”
Yes, yes, of course. Orthodox women were killed in Kizlyar a year ago, Copts are regularly killed in churches, and when they want to blow each other up in mosques, no one is watching – prayer time is now or not.

    • Exactly , look what are they doing in Europe, beautiful Christian Europe, just leave Us alone , go and live in Muslim countries, then you can integrate very well..

  6. People are getting fed up with these invaders that rape, murder and molest and violent criminals that come in with the migration. Muslims leave their own countries they can’t seem to fix, and go and ruin first world countries. No one in their right mind would tour most of Europe today because of the dangers. Europeans seem to condone ongoing invasions with few exceptions, majority wants it tho’.

  7. “A gunman armed with automatic weapons…”

Baron, I watched Tarrant’s video and he used semi-automatic rifles, not machine guns.

    • Sorry, I was writing in haste with very little information to hand. This story was breaking news when I put together the news feed.

  8. Have you already written an article that a terrorist has nothing to do with Islamophobes?
Islamophobia is a philosophy of peace and goodness.
Islamophobes do not kill anyone, they just want to treat everyone with bacon and beer, thanks to their generosity.

  9. I was reading article about this guy , He said He want to take a avenge, for people in Europe, this poor girls who Muslim ( refugees) reap and murder , all this criminals Merkel and this whole corrupted EU . Doing to European people, so sad ..

  10. Two wrongs do not make a “Right”. How is butchering Moslems going to solve our problems? The real enemy is the the arrogant facilitators in our Governments-not naive, morally blind barbarians with a low IQ and a 1400 years old Stone Age cult mindset. The crime is the importation of these latter who have no business here in the West-period. This is why we have nations with borders and different cultures. This is what the Treaty of Westphalia is all about dated 1648AD.

The NZ killings were a “set-up”- infantile and dangerous like anything out of he “Leftist-mindset”. The fellow was a crank and questions need to be asked. Was he on drugs? He had a most odd political outlook and affiliation that seemed to contain Nazi doctrine but also Ecological ideology. Hitler actually founded the Green Movement. He was also a vegetarian. Some of these cults are very violent and the Leftist Pantheon of the weird and wonderful is often an occluded front.

Why was he keen to show his pop-guns covered in white painted Christian “defenders” against Islam? He wanted the audience to see this and blame the Christians. The man had a poor comprehension of history too and this whole episode is typical of a mind more in tune with grudge bearing Antifa mindset than anything else- and Hope Not Hate shares a similar warped world view.

Was he on drugs? And why was he concerned about USA gun laws in the USA? This whole thing was a “set-up” and where did he get the pop-guns?

This has all his writings, acting as his own interviewer.

I do not really understand him, and what is written,
Putting it out there, will balance some of the media, but I really hope that some others will find, understand, just what was driving this nihilistic anarchist, character.
Some of the answers may be astounding, or simply a crazy man, but the work needs to be done.
