Gallup: U.S. Catholics Question Church Membership Over Abuse Scandals

More and more Catholics are re-examining their membership in the Church, Gallup revealed Wednesday, noting that the number of those who question their affiliation has jumped by 15 percent since 2002.

Thirty-seven percent of U.S. Catholics say that news of clerical sex abuse has led them to question whether they should remain in the Church, Gallup said, up from just 22 percent in 2002, the year the sex abuse crisis exploded in the United States.

Jay Leno Rips Late Night TV for One-Sided, Mean Spirited Politics

In recent times Late Night TV, once a must watch for many people, has become too mean-spirited to watch. Former Tonight Show host Jay Leno agrees. Leno is very discouraged over the drive toward far-left politics now indulged by the new group of late-night hosts since he left the air.

Leno recently appeared on NBC’s Today show and lamented over how “everyone has to know your politics” these days if you want to be a late-night comedian. He also worried that things have become too “one-sided.”

Lisa Page: Obama DOJ Ordered FBI Not to Prosecute Hillary Clinton

Former FBI legal counsel Lisa Page testified to Congress that the Justice Department ordered the FBI not to charge former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with “gross negligence” by mishandling classified information.

Transcripts of Page’s closed-door testimony in July 2018 were released Tuesday by Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA) on Tuesday, which included the following exchange with Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-TX):

RATCLIFFE: So let me if I can, I know I’m testing your memory. But when you say advice you got from the Department, you’re making it sound like it was the Department that told you: You’re not going to charge gross negligence because we’re the prosecutors and we’re telling you we’re not going to …

PAGE: That is correct.

RATFLIFFE: …bring a case based on that.

Massive Explosion at 7-11 Rocks Philadelphia Neighborhood

In a blast that rocked the neighborhood and sent flaming debris raining down on the surrounding area, a gas pump exploded Tuesday at a Pennsylvania 7-11.

Surprisingly, there were no injuries reported in the incident, which occurred just after 11 a.m. in the Feltonville section of Philadelphia. Frightened residents reported hearing the deafening explosion from miles away.

Meko Noel, who was inside the 7-11 when the blast occurred, looked outside just in time to see a manhole cover come crashing down on her car. “The manhole probably flew up in the sky when the explosion happened and then landed on the back of my car and rolled off,” she says. “The flames were maybe 20 feet in the air. It was really high and it was really scary and we didn’t know what to expect.”

Investigators say workers had been repairing the gas pumps, but they’re still trying to determine what triggered the explosion.

Occasional Cortex More Zombie Than House Rep

In short, AOC is not herself, but representative of a group of political hucksters spewing their un-American mantra through her.

“The group who created AOC is Justice Democrats, an American progressive political action committee, founded on January 23, 2017, by Kyle Kulinski of Secular Talk, Cenk Uygur of The Young Turks, and former leadership from the 2016 Bernie Sanders presidential campaign.” (Wikipedia)

The AOC we see daily in mainstream and social media is the “Sandy” who launched the Green New Deal on the Western World. She’s the zombie, dressed to kill, sent out by something called the Justice Democrats, who appointed her ‘Queen of the Surrealistic’ on what they plan as an unstoppable spree.

This Chart Shows There Could be a Real Link Between Opioid Use and People Not Working

The U.S. opioid crisis is hitting the country on many fronts, including the labor market, data reviewed by CNBC show.

States that prescribe more opioids per 100 people tend to have fewer people in their labor force. West Virginia, a state with one of the highest opioid prescription rates in the country in 2015, had the lowest labor force participation rate in 2018 at 54 percent. Alabama, the state with the highest prescription rate, has a participation rate of 57 percent — which is also one of the lowest.

Warren: I Believe Capitalism Has Historically Been a Force for Good

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) agreed capitalism has historically been a “force for good” during an interview Wednesday, reiterating she believes in markets that were closely watched by “a cop on the beat.”

On Morning Joe, MSNBC co-host Willie Geist noted the emerging tensions between socialism and capitalism in the nascent Democratic primary fight, and he recalled how Warren, one of the top candidates in the race, called herself a capitalist “down to my bones.”

“I believe in markets,” Warren said. “I see the benefits that markets can produce.”

Warren said Wall Street regulators in the past had allowed big banks to get wealthy on the backs of “millions of families” and crashed the economy during last decade’s mortgage crisis.

“When there’s a cop on the beat, those markets start to work again,” she said. “Banks, in that case, are forced to develop their profit models, not on cheating people, but on actually offering a better product.”

“Despite its flaws … Do you believe capitalism over the course of history has been a force for good?” Geist asked.

“Yes, I do!” Warren said. “I think it also, when it doesn’t work, it’s been a force for bad, but that’s been true of every form of government that we can identify. We’ve gotten it right sometimes, and we’ve gotten it wrong sometimes. When you let markets work with rules and with people on the beat to enforce those rules, we can produce a lot of wealth in this country.”

Warren’s campaign didn’t respond to a request for comment.

Brexiteers Glad to See May’s Deal Fall, But Fear Her Move to Let Remainers Vote Down No Deal

Reactions to the second rejection of Theresa May’s deal with the European Union have been rolling in from Brexiteers both within and without Parliament, with MPs defending their decision to vote against the Prime Minister but fearful of her planned free vote on taking “No Deal” off the negotiating table.

Nigel Farage MEP, who was ad hoc leader of the Brexit campaign for many a long year before the term was even coined, declared that the deal’s rejection and Mrs May’s subsequent decision to put “No Deal” — currently the legal default come March 29th — to a free vote, with her Remainer-dominated Government having no fixed position on the issue, was a “total failure of leadership”.

British MPs Narrowly Reject No-Deal Brexit in Non-Binding Vote

Lawmakers voted by 312 to 308 in favour of a cross-party motion that ruled out a potentially disorderly ‘no-deal’ Brexit under any circumstances.

It went further than the government’s own planned motion, which noted that parliament did not want to leave without a deal on March 29 and that the default legal position was to leave without a deal unless one was ratified by parliament.

While the approved motion has no legal force and ultimately may not prevent a no-deal exit after a possible delay, it carries considerable political force.

Italy: We Must be Careful About the New ‘Silk Road’ Says Salvini

Conte says Chinese initiative won’t throw govt into crisis

(ANSA) — Matera, March 12 — Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini called for prudence on Tuesday when asked about Italy reaching an agreement over China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), a massive infrastructure project seeking to create a sort of Silk Road for the modern world. “It’s a fundamentally important to open new markets to Italian firms and entrepreneurs,” Salvini said during a visit to Matera. “But it is necessary to protect the national interest and national security.

“So it is necessary to be very, very careful before putting vital infrastructure for Italy, I’m thinking data, networks, ports and airports, at the disposal of foreign investors”.

The US and the EU have voiced concern about Italy joining the BRI.

Earlier on Tuesday Economy Minister Giovanni Tria said the controversy about this issue was a “storm in a teacup”.

Tria stressed Italy-Chinese talks were only on a possible memorandum of understanding, “and not a deal”.

Premier Giuseppe Conte said there was “no air of a crisis” in government between allies the 5-Star Movement (M5S) and Salvini’s League because of differing views of the BRI. “There is absolutely no whiff of crisis in the government on the China chapter,” he said. “The government always moves in a coordinated and coherent way on these scenarios. “The China chapter is not something you can improvise from one day to the next, it was prepared in the last few months, and it certainly must be faced with a lot of caution.” European Commission Vice President Jyrki Katainen said that States must bear in mind the European Union’s rules when they reach agreements with non-EU States. Katainen pointed out that 13 EU States have already signed similar memorandums. “We’ll assess it like we assess all the other protocols signed by the other EU States,” he said. “All the member States that are making commitments in this regard must remember that we have our rules about transparency and competition, so public contracts must be open to all”.

Italy: Russian Oligarchs Arrive in Umbria and Change Castles in Resorts

Two families close to Russian president Putin control the Antognolla resort

A coincidence. It’s a mere coincidence if the families of two Russian oligarchs bought two castles in the green Umbria region, a few kilometers away from each other and until a few years ago part of the same ancient property. As it is a coincidence that between the two castles there is a golf club (occasionally) attended by European Central Bank president Mario Draghi.

Let’s say instead that there are three oligarchs, and at least two of them are, or were, very close to Russian president Vladimir Putin.

The owners of the castles come from the second generation. They are the children of two well-known figures of the Russian elite currently based in London. The protagonists of this story are different from each other. The first is Andrei Yakunin, the son of Vladimir Yakunin, the former chief of the Russian railways and a long-time friend of the Russian president…

Italy: Different From M5S, Go Forward on Works — Salvini

“On public works I think differently from my government allies: there is a need to go forward, not go backwards,” Salvini said on the stump for Basilicata regional elections on March 24.

“I have a hard head (I’m stubborn): I’m sure that the Lucanian people deserve something more than what the left managed to offer in the last 30 years”.

Italy: Salvini Urges EP to Vote to Extradite Ex- BR Terrorist

Casimirri has for years been living in Managua where he owns a restaurant.

Italy: BRI Attention to US But 5G Not in Deal — Quirinale

Working lunch on ‘new Silk Road’ at presidential palace

(ANSA) — Rome, march 13 — Presidential sources said after a working lunch on the implications of the possible Belt and Road (BRI) deal Wednesday that the mooted Italian memorandum of understanding with China is much less “weighty” than many others signed by other European countries and the Italian rules of engagement regarding accords with Beijing are much stricter and more stringent than the document of the European Union.

“Naturally we look with great attention to the US position but we recall that 5G is not in the memorandum,” they said.

The US has voiced concern over Italy possibly signing up to the BRI, subbed ‘the new Silk Road’.

Another 13 EU countries have already signed a memorandum of understanding on the BRI.

Vatican’s former finance minister found guilty of abusing 2 boys

Brazil School Shooting: Deadly Attack in São Paulo

Two gunmen have opened fire at a school in south-eastern Brazil, killing at least six students and two employees, officials say.

The shooting happened at about 09:30 local time (12:30 GMT) when the students were on a break at the state school in Suzano, near São Paulo.

The gunmen wearing face masks, aged 17 and 25, killed themselves after the attack, according to police.

While gun crime is common in Brazil, shootings of this nature are not.

The motive for the shooting is not clear. Police say they found a revolver, a bow and arrow and items that appeared to be explosives…

Illegal Arrested for Murder After Sanctuary Policy Protected Him From Deportation Nine Times

An illegal alien whom Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) tried to deport nine times has been arrested for murder in California.

Crusade of Tears: Children’s Crusade for Peace: How Globalists Sell Whole Generations Into Slavery

Last summer, a group of young people travelled to Tajikistan. They wanted to prove to themselves and to the whole world that evil does not exist, that all people are good and that the stories about Muslim terrorists are only a scarecrow for stupid children. They were riding bicycles when a car crashed into them at full speed. Those who did not die immediately were murdered by people shouting “Allah Akbar”.

In December of the same year, two young Scandinavian girls travelled to Morocco where local young people invited them for a night picnic in the Atlas Mountains. The next morning the girls were found with their throats cut and the “pleasant young people” published a statement that it was a revenge on the West. .

In October 2015, a young activist of the ‘No Borders’ group went to a refugee camp to help Sudanese refugees and was brutally raped (Her friends recommended her not to report it to police). In 2018 in Germany, three German women were killed by their partners who were Afghan migrants…Modern youngsters refuse to believe that there is evil, barbarism and fanaticism in the world. They believe that Islam is a religion of peace, and terrorism and hatred are the result of social inequality. They believe that if you smile at people, people will smile back. They are deprived of the basic instinct of self-preservation.

A bird would fly away from a cat, an antelope would run away from a lion. However a young man or a girl from California, London, Berlin or Toronto, is ready, with a trusting smile, to walk into the paws of two-legged bearded predators with Kalashnikov and the Koran in their hands.

Hipsters Are a Symptom of Western Decay

Hipsters really do all look the same, and they symbolize the problem with millennials.

Confirm, submit, obey.

There was a really funny story about this recently, too. A hipster was unhappy to see a picture of himself on an article about how hipsters all look the same…but it turns out, it wasn’t him! Doesn’t this say a lot?

I think there’s something deeper to this issue of hipsters pretending to be unique while following in each other’s footsteps. I think it’s a sign of Western decay, and that young people need to fill a hole in their lives.

The Collapse of Western Civilization

From spiritual bankruptcy, to mass chemical dependence, to rampant addiction to sensual stimulation.

Almost every factor that precedes the collapse of great civilizations has been met by the west.

Our destruction is long overdue.

Depression is at its highest level ever. Drug addiction is at its highest level ever.

People identifying as Christians is at its lowest level ever.

Coincidence?

Our culture provides us with NOTHING to believe in.

  2. Another 100 jobs for hacks if a French-German parliament is set up…plus the hundreds of support staff. Then, the regulations and the enforcement polizie.

  3. A joint French-German parliament is vitally necessary to solve Europe problems: But what problems? And then another one , and another committee, and another organization. . . . etc. Print euros and establish useless bodies. Cowards don’t achieve anything.

Or do they think of strange things to sensible people never occur as :

Traitors and wolves if sheep’s clothing: you have compassion for satanic cults but not for your own flesh and blood.

    Satan has engulfed Europe.
