French President Defends ‘Cross the Street’ Job Quip
French President Emmanuel Macron has defended his comments about how people can “just cross the street to get a job”, when questioned by a father whose son has been looking for work for nine months.
Mr Macron came in for criticism late last year when he was reported as having said that it was easy to get a job in France, and that unemployed people simply needed to make the effort to “cross the street” to ask, especially for jobs in bars and restaurants.
But this week, during a visit to Bordeaux en route to Pessac (Gironde) as part of the national Grand Débat, a father questioned the President in the street, saying that his son “who has a high school degree plus five years of further study” has been “looking for work for nine months”.
The man asked: “How could you say ‘you can just cross the street’ to find work?”

Calif. Student Busts Prof Who Said Cops ‘Need to be Killed’
A professor at the University of California-Davis professor is facing renewed backlash over a 2014 tweet in which he reportedly said that police “need to be killed.”
UC-Davis English Professor Joshua Clover, in tweets on his now private Twitter account, reportedly wrote, “I am thankful that every living cop will one day be dead, some by their own hand, some by others, too many of old age #letsnotmakemore.” A separate tweet from Clover just one month later reportedly read, “I mean, it’s easier to shoot cops when their backs are turned, no?”

Facing a $250M Lawsuit, Washington Post Walks Back Its Covington Story
Does the Washington Post think that this “Editor’s Note” will save it from a massive lawsuit payout?
A Washington Post article first posted online on Jan. 19 reported on a Jan. 18 incident at the Lincoln Memorial. House Dems Explode in Recriminations as AOC Threatens to Put Moderates on “A List”
In a closed-door session, a frustrated Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) lashed out at about two dozen moderates and pressured them to get on board. “We are either a team or we’re not, and we have to make that decision,” Pelosi said, according to two people present but not authorized to discuss the remarks publicly.

More Firings at TV and Radio Martí Over Controversial George Soros Report
Four additional staffers at Radio and TV Martí have been fired over a controversial report broadcast last year that referred to Jewish philanthropist George Soros as “anti-Semitic” — bringing to eight the number of dismissals at the station so far following a months-long internal investigation by the Office of Cuba Broadcasting (OCB), which oversees the Martí stations, as well as the Martínoticias digital site.
The report, aired by Isabel Cuervo for the Antena Live program, raises conspiracy theories about Soros, who is identified as a “left-wing billionaire of Hungarian-Jewish origin” and a “nonpracticing Jew of flexible morals.” The broadcast, which aired in three separate segments, included an interview that was posted on YouTube by RT.com that Cuervo used with no attribution to the source and another one passed off as her own interview with an alleged expert.
Cuervo and former News Editor Wilfredo Cancio were dismissed immediately after then Senator Jeff Flake and Senator Bob Menéndez demanded an investigation. The Martí report, broadcast last May, made headlines at the end of October when a blog on Cuban issues raised questions about the broadcast just days after Soros received a bomb threat.
John Lansing, director of the United States Agency for Global Media (USAGM), which oversees Radio and TV Martí, issued a statement Wednesday saying that the three-part report should have never aired.

It appears that what remains of the moderate wing of the Democratic Party is dead. Or at least has no voice.

Oklahoma Becomes 15th Permitless Gun-Carry State
Oklahoma governor Kevin Stitt (R.) signed a bill into law on Wednesday that eliminated permitting requirements for concealed gun carry inside the state.
The bill, H.B. 2597, would allow anyone who is 21 years old or older to legally carry a concealed firearm so long as they are legally allowed to possess a firearm. It also includes exemptions for anyone between the age of 18 and 21 to be able to carry without a permit so long as they are a member of the military, national guard, or are an honorably discharged veteran.

Belgium Students Mock Islam Dressed as Suicide Bombers
High school seniors wear head scarfs, don suicide belts while going though movements of Islamic prayers
A group of high school students here mocked Islam when they wore headscarves and suicide belts while imitating the movement of Islamic prayer.
Senior students traditionally celebrate graduation ceremonies 100 days before the end of school year, Mahinur Ozdemir, an independent member of parliament from Brussels Regional Parliament, told Anadolu Agency.
“However, it is scandalous that these students chose the theme as ‘Islam and Saudi Arabia’ and imitated prayer moves wearing headscarves and bombed belts, therefore relating Muslims with terrorism.”
Principal Jan de Gendt of the College Paters Jozefieten, the Catholic school in Ghent where the students attend, defended their actions and said it is an event for entertainment and does not aim to provoke or upset anyone.
Ozdemir said the principal’s remarks normalizes such events and that leads to Islamophobia.
“Is it free to wear headscarves for entertainment, while it is forbidden to wear it at schools?” Ozdemir asked.
It is intolerable that students wear traditional Arab clothes and relate Islam and Muslims with terrorism and violence, said Coskun Beyazgul, the head of religious affairs in Belgium.
“This behavior, which is incompatible with the culture of coexistence and causes the dissemination of negative Islamic perception in the public, is seen as a manifestation of anti-Islamic and hate speech,” he added.

‘Week of Museums’ to take place in March says Bonisoli
(ANSA) — Rome, February 26 — Culture Minister Alberto Bonisoli said Tuesday that access to Italian State museums will be free for 20 days a year as a result of a government decree that will come into force this week.
He said the free days would be during the ‘week of the museums’ from March 5 and 10, plus eight days picked by the directors of the individual institutions and six on each first Sunday of the month between October and March.
Bonisoli provoked widespread dismay last year when he announced that a previous system, in which all State museums were free on the first Sunday of every month, was being scrapped.

Italy: Sicily Assembly ‘Costs More Than White House’ — M5S
ARS costs 137 mn compared to 136 for US president’s residence
(ANSA) — Palermo, February 26 — The Sicilian regional assembly costs more than the White House, the 5-Star Movement (M5S) said Tuesday.
The M5S caucus at the assembly presented a dossier on the assembly, known by its acronym ARS, which said that the regional parliament costs one million euros more than the US president’s residence: 137 million euros a year compared to 136 million.
The ARS, it said, cost “1,000 euros a minute in 2018”.

A man who harassed a Muslim woman for not adhering to Islamic dress codes at a London health centre and threatened a co-worker he believed was Christian has received a weak non-custodial sentence.

UK: Rotherham Peer Lord Ahmed Charged With Historic Child Sex Offences
Lord Ahmed of Rotherham has been charged with three counts of historic sexual offences against children under the age of 13.
Former Labour Party politician turned independent peer in the House of Lords Nazir Ahmed, 61, was charged Thursday with the indecent assault of a boy and with two counts of attempting to rape a girl, the BBC reports.
All charges are alleged to have occurred between 1971 and 1974, when Lord Ahmed was between the ages of 14 and 17.
Two other Rotherham men were also charged with similar offences. Mohammed Farouq, 68, was charged with four counts of indecently assaulting a boy under the age of 13 between 1968 and 1972. Slaughter of 40 Christians Confirms Trump Concern
President was criticized for spotlight on Muslim Fulani herdsmen
At least 40 Christians were killed in two recent attacks in Muslim-majority northern Nigeria by Muslim Fulani herdsmen.
On Tuesday, 32 people were killed in an early morning assault on villages in and around Maro, in Kajuru County of Kaduna state, Morning Star News reported. On Feb. 10, an attack by herdsmen on Angwan Barde, in the same county, killed 10 Catholic Christians along with an unborn child.
In Maro, the Fulani herdsmen also damaged church buildings and property.
The mostly Muslim Fulani herdsmen have clashed with indigenous tribes and local, mainly Christian, farmers over grazing land for centuries. But the clashes intensified around the time of the 2011 and 2015 elections, and again earlier this year, the Christian group Open Doors points out.

Denmark: One in Five Migrants Say Rape is Woman’s Fault
17 percent of ethnic minority men believe that Danish women who dress provocatively only have themselves to blame when they’re raped, according to a recent survey.
Equality Minister Eva Kjer Hansen of the ruling liberal-conservative Venstre Party was astonished that the number is so high.

Denmark Considers Sending Syrian Refugees Home
Denmark will no longer automatically grant all Syrian asylum seekers temporary asylum, and is considering whether returns are now possible.
“It is our assessment that the conditions in Syria have changed, and this means that we will select a number of trial cases in order to get a concrete assessment of whether there is still a basis for granting a residence permit to Syrians,” Anders Dorph, deputy director of the Danish Immigration Service, said Thursday.

Karma Catches up to Woman Who Attacked Man Wearing MAGA Hat [Video]
Our previous report on a woman who attacked a man wearing a MAGA hat has a happy ending.
The woman has been arrested by ICE because she’s in America illegally:
“Deportation officers with ICE’s Fugitive Operations Team arrested Rosiane Santos, an unlawfully present citizen of Brazil, today near Falmouth, Massachusetts. Santos is currently facing local charges for assault and other offenses. She is presently in ICE custody and has been entered into removal proceedings before the federal immigration courts.”
Santos came to the United States in 1994 on a tourist visa from Brazil and never left.

Migrants Commit 70% of Violent Crimes in Norwegian Capital
Migrants are responsible for 70% of violent crimes committed in Oslo, Norway, according to a study by the country’s largest commercial television broadcaster.
TV2 conducted a review of all verdicts involving serious bodily harm from 2018 until present day, and found that more than two-thirds of perpetrators had migration backgrounds, which is categorized as individuals who have migrated to Norway or those born to two immigrant parents.

Applicants looking to teach mathematics at the University of California campuses are evaluated based on their past contributions to “diversity.”
According to the current job postings for these positions, applications must include a “diversity statement” detailing the applicants’ “past and/or potential contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion.”

Ex-Transgender Man Now Wants to Live as Sexless Alien and Has Had Nipples Removed
Jareth Nebula might live on earth but he firmly believes he belongs on another planet.
The 33-year-old, who was born a woman but transitioned to become a man when he was 29, now believes he doesn’t fit into any human gender and is, in fact, an alien .
The barber’s shop receptionist has even had his nipples removed and shaves his eyebrows to “make him feel less human”.
Jareth, who has named himself after David Bowie ‘s character in Labrynth and Nebula like a space cloud, already has 78 stars across his body and hopes to increase this to 333 as “three has always been my lucky number”.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Will Raise Their Baby as ‘Gender Fluid’
MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry will reportedly raise their baby ‘gender fluid’ and ‘won’t impose stereotypes’ on it.
A source close to the couple told Vanity Fair that Meghan Markle, 37, was telling guests at her recent New York baby shower that she would raise their baby in a “fluid” way.
“She was talking openly about it,” said the source to the magazine.

U.K. Schools to Indoctrinate Kids as Young as Five in LGBT Agenda
Children as young as five will now be required to learn about homosexual and transgender relationships in U.K. public schools, and parents’ rights to withdraw them from such classes will be restricted, under new guidelines issued by the Department for Education Monday.
“Almost twenty years on from the last time guidance on sex education was updated, there is a lot to catch up on,” said Education Secretary Damian Hinds, a member of the Conservative Party.
“Although sex education is only mandatory to teach at secondary, it must be grounded in a firm understanding and valuing of positive relationships, and respect for others, from primary age.”
To that end, the government is requiring grade-school students to complete “relationships education.” According to the BBC, “The guidance says that pupils need to understand ‘that some people are LGBT, that this should be respected in British society, and that the law affords them and their relationships recognition and protections.’“
Supposedly, schools are to consider the age and religious backgrounds of their students and to involve their parents in developing these lessons, but the guidelines make it clear who is really in charge. Previously, parents could opt their children out of sex education. Under the new guidance, they may withdraw their children from sex and relationships education only until their children reach age 15.

With the climate change “scientists” doing anything to prove their lies, including suing those who disagree, to keep their paychecks coming, it’s even more disheartening to see Janet Napolitano’s University of California require mathematicians prove their commitment to diversity to get one of her 22,000 instructor positions.
Politically correct science departments simply add to Affirmative Action mandates to drive the evil white man into unemployment. None of it adds up. Napolitano needs to be fired, now.
