Vehicular Jihad Against Orthodox Jews in Los Angeles

Last Friday a culture-enricher in Los Angeles attempted to run over a group of Orthodox Jews in front of a synagogue. He made two runs at them, but crashed into another vehicle (or a signpost, depending on the account) after the second attempt.

The incident had a Mohammed Coefficient of 200%, which is extremely rare.

Police are not yet calling it a “hate crime”. When a Muslim perpetrates a violent crime, identifying “hate” as a motive is usually much more difficult, for some reason.

Here’s the report from NBC Los Angeles:

Man Allegedly Attempts to Run Over 2 People Outside Synagogue in Possible Hate Crime

A man allegedly attempted to run over two people outside a synagogue Friday night in what police are investigating as a possible hate crime.

Mohamed Mohamed allegedly insulted a couple people walking out of a synagogue before getting into a vehicle and attempting to run them over, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The two people managed to get out of the way of the vehicle and avoid injury, but the suspect’s vehicle crashed into another vehicle per LAPD.

The incident took place on the 300 block of North La Brea Avenue in the Hancock Park area, near the Fairfax district.

The 32-year-old suspect was being held on $55,000 bail and was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with a vehicle, and LAPD said it is not calling the incident a hate crime as yet.

Arutz Sheva has more details:

Authorities in Los Angeles have arrested a man suspected of attempting to run down Orthodox Jews outside of a synagogue during the Sabbath.

The incident occurred at approximately 9:30 p.m. Friday night near a synagogue in the Hancock Park neighborhood near La Brea and Oakwood avenues, in an area with a large Jewish population.

Witnesses say the driver suddenly swerved over towards a group of Orthodox Jews on the sidewalk, narrowly missing them.

After the car missed the pedestrians, the driver pulled around in a U-turn and tried to run down the would-be victims a second time.

When he missed them a second time, the driver struck a traffic sign. He then exited the vehicle, started screaming obscenities and anti-Semitic curses.

The pedestrians targeted in the apparent ramming attempt say the driver appeared to be of Middle Eastern origin, and had a Koran on his dashboard.

Following a complaint to the Los Angeles Police Department, authorities opened an investigation into the incident, and over the weekend identified the suspect as 32-year-old Mohamed Mohamed.

Los Angeles police arrested Mohamed for assault with a deadly weapon, and held him in custody on $55,000 bail.

The two men who were nearly hit in the attack say they believe they were singled out as Jews, and that the incident was likely an anti-Semitic hate crime.

“He was beeping and screaming f***ing Jew, f***ing Jew,” one of the pedestrians told CBS.

“Why he chose us? Probably because of the yarmulkes on our heads.”

  1. And in liberal PC California, the authorities of course refuse to call it what it is: a hate crime. Like in Canada and most countries of Western Europe.
But imagine a white, Christian or Jewish person peacefully and decently warning for the (multi-times proven) dangers of islamisation: Of course, that WILL be classified as such.
I wonder what the liberal deep-state authorities have blended into the air we breath, the water we drink or the food we eat, because this perverted attitude of the authorities and the MSM should spark a massive popular revolt on the spot.

  2. I am sure the new Chief IG of Minneapolis and proud Democratic Mr.Ellison will be glad to hire him as a P.R. man .I am sure L.A. P.D. will say the man is mental ill, nothing to do with Islam.

  3. “Assault with a deadly weapon”? ????

How about attempted murder or assault with intent to commit grievous body harm?

I did a little research on penalties in California:

    1) Assault with a deadly weapon:

And if assault with a deadly weapon that is not a firearm is charged as a felony, the felony penalties under PC 245(a)(1) include: Felony (formal) probation; Two (2), three (3) or four (4) years in California state prison; and/or. A fine of up to ten thousand dollars ($10,000).

    2) Attempted murder:

If you are convicted of attempting either willful, deliberate and premeditated murder, or the murder of a peace officer, firefighter or custodial officer, you will be sentenced to life in state prison with the possibility of parole.21

Making a u-turn to run over pedestrians is attempted murder, by any reasonable definition. Instead of using the very questionable “hate crime” designation to ramp up the penalty, how about simply using the very reasonable law?
