America’s twin economic “generals” are both in very deep trouble. General Electric was founded in 1892, and it was once one of the most powerful corporations on the entire planet. But now it is drowning in so much debt that it may be forced into bankruptcy. General Motors was founded in 1908, and at one time it was the largest automaker that the world had ever seen. But now it is closing a bunch of factories and laying off approximately 14,000 workers as it anticipates disappointing sales and a slowing economy. If the U.S. economy really was “booming”, both of these companies would probably be thriving. But as you will see below, both of them have been victimized by the exact same Ponzi scheme, and both firms are sending us very clear signals that the U.S. economy is heading for troubled waters.
Whenever you hear the word “restructuring”, that is always a sign that things are not going well for a company.
And it turns out that GM’s “restructuring” is actually going to cost the firm 3.8 billion dollars…
General Motors said Monday it plans to effectively halt production at a number of plants in the U.S. and Canada next year and cut more than 14,000 jobs in a massive restructuring that will cost up to $3.8 billion.
Of course GM doesn’t have 3.8 billion dollars just lying around, and so they are actually going to have to borrow money in order to close these plants and lay off these workers…
There is no way that Mary Barra should have ever been made CEO of General Motors, and now the entire world is getting to see why.
In addition to the elimination of about 6,000 factory jobs, GM will also be cutting about 8,000 “white collar jobs”…
But if General Motors had been much wiser with their money, they wouldn’t have had to initiate a “restructuring” so quickly.
Over the past four years, General Motors spent a staggering 13.9 billion dollars on stock buybacks.
GM executives were able to prop up the stock price for a while, but at this point the stock is down about 10 percent from where it was four years ago. The following comes from Wolf Richter…
During this four-year period in which GM blew, wasted, and annihilated nearly $14 billion on share buybacks, the price of its shares, including today’s 5.5% surge — getting rid of workers is always good news for shares — fell 10%.

Charges Filed After Fatal Stabbing at Family Dollar
CLAYTON, Mo. — The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged a 34-year-old woman for allegedly stabbing and killing a woman at a Family Dollar store in Breckenridge Hills.
According to a spokesperson for the Breckenridge Hills Police Department, the attack took place November 27 just before 11:15 a.m. in the 9700 block of St. Charles Rock Road.
Police said the victim, 65-year-old Marybeth Gaeng, was shopping in the store when another woman, Cameka Cathey, attacked and stabbed her in the head and face. Police said Cathey picked the knives up from a shelf in the store.
While employees were trying to help the victim, Cathey came back and stabbed the victim in the head again.
Gaeng was rushed to a hospital where she later passed away. Cathey was arrested a short time after the attack.
The victim and suspect didn’t know one another prior to the attack. Police believe Cathey chose her victim at random…

Google Suggests ‘Top Racist Republicans’ Instead of GOP Races
The scariest thing about Google Search is the algorithms and changes that users don’t see.
Dr. Robert Epstein of AIRBT has spent years studying Google and the algorithms behind it. In a study released in April of 2018, Epstein and his colleagues wrote of experiments done to prove that search suggestions can “be used to shift opinions and voting preferences dramatically and without people’s awareness.” As a followup to that study, Epstein tweeted two of his latest experiments with Google Search. When a user typed in “top races d-”, the first suggestion was “top races Democrat.” When a user typed in “top races r—” the first suggestion was “top racist Republican.”
“This #manipulation is so ridiculously blatant that it has to be some nerdy software engineer’s idea of a joke. Think about it: ‘races’ gets a red underline (meaning it’s not recognized as a real word) ONLY when it’s followed by an ‘r.’ The serious manipulations are invisible,” Epstein tweeted.
In an interview with Dr. Epstein, the Media Research Center confirmed Google eventually fixed this hiccup, but only after a long wait. This tweet was followed up by another one on November 27. When Epstein searched for “liberals are” in the Google Search box, no suggestions came up. When he searched “conservatives are,” three suggestions popped up. One was “conservatives are more likely to support,” another was “conservatives are irate,” and the third was “conservatives are irate the parkland shooter.”

Sleep loss uniquely impacts anger over anxiety, sadness
Losing just a couple hours of sleep at night makes you angrier, especially in frustrating situations, according to new Iowa State University research. While the results may seem intuitive, the study is one of the first to provide evidence that sleep loss causes anger.
Other studies have shown a link between sleep and anger, but questions remained about whether sleep loss was to blame or if anger was responsible for disrupted sleep, said Zlatan Krizan, professor of psychology at Iowa State. The research, published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology: General, answers those questions and provides new insight on our ability to adjust to irritating conditions when tired.
“Despite typical tendencies to get somewhat used to irritating conditions — an uncomfortable shirt or a barking dog — sleep-restricted individuals actually showed a trend toward increased anger and distress, essentially reversing their ability to adapt to frustrating conditions over time. No one has shown this before,” Krizan said.

The family unit has self-destructed as millions of children are raised in fatherless households, broken households, or dysfunctional households. They are not taught how to act and think by loving parents at home, so they are easily susceptible to the social justice dogma jammed down their throats by low IQ government robots inhabiting the classrooms of our public schools. As Frank Zappa pointed out years ago, you need to educate yourself and not let government schools rot your mind. We didn’t heed his advice.
The arrogance and hubris of these delusional masters of the universe during their mad pursuit of riches always leads to their downfall. These are truly mad times when millions of people can fix their minds on provably ridiculous conspiracy theories of Russians throwing a presidential election to the candidate of their choice. Court documents just unsealed from the trial of Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev revealed that Tsarnaev allegedly told a college classmate that his brother Tamerlan “had committed jihad” through his involvement in a previous triple murder.

University Trains Staff to Use Hockey Pucks to Thwart Active Shooters
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (AP) — Faculty members at Oakland University in suburban Detroit have received hockey pucks and are being trained to use them to potentially thwart active shooters.
WDIV-TV reports the American Association of University Professors distributed pucks to its 800 members.
University Police Chief Mark Gordon says to fight effectively, faculty and students need to be prepared to throw heavy objects that will cause a distraction. Gordon says pucks fit the bill and can conveniently be carried in brief cases or backpacks.

Yes, You Have the Right to Talk Back to the Government, But it Could Get You Killed

Dan Heyman, a reporter for the Public News Service, was arrested for “aggressively” questioning Tom Price, the secretary of the Department of Health and Human Servicesduring an encounter in the West Virginia State Capitol. Robert Bartlett was arrested during an Arctic Man festival in Alaska, allegedly in retaliation for refusing to be interrogated by police and intervening when police attempted to question other people. His case is before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Cases like these have become all too common, typical of the bipolar nature of life in the American police state today: you may have distinct, protected rights on paper, but dare to exercise those rights and you put yourself at risk for fines, arrests, injuries and even death.

Alabi did not do anything that was disrespectful. An entire room is not a prayer space for Muslims. The case of Madkour and Ismail is a shame to me as a Muslim. Madkour and Ismail, immigrants from Egypt, were tenants in an apartment owned by John Alabi, who had rented the place to them regardless of their faith.
Alabi himself is an immigrant from from Nigeria who became a Canadian citizen and worked his way up to become a home owner. He rented the apartment in his home to help make his mortgage payments.

ISIS affiliate ‘planned to put rat poison in water supply’
(ANSA) — Rome, November 28 — Police officers belonging to the special NOCS unit staged an operation to stop a suspected Islamist terrorist at Macomer in the Sardinian province of Nuoro on Wednesday, sources said. A 38-year-old ISIS-affiliated jihadi suspected of planning to put rat poison in the water supply was arrested, the sources said.
He was also said to be planning to use chemical weapons.
Police described him as a “lone wolf”.
He was said to be a foreigner of so far unknown origin, who came to Italy from Lebanon, sources said. He had been living at Macomer with a Moroccan woman.
The man was caught while trying to make a getaway aboard a van.

Italy: More Than 15,000 Fewer Births in a Yr — ISTAT
Drop of 45,000 in 3 yrs
(ANSA) — Rome, November 28 — More than 15,000 fewer births were registered in 2017 than the previous year, ISTAT said Wednesday.
Last year 458,151 babies were born in Italy, the statistics agency said.
Over the course of three years, from 2014 to 2017, ISTAT said, there was a drop of around 45,000 births, while the fall with respect to 2008 was almost 120,000.
The drop was sharpest for families where both the parents are Italian, ISTAT said.

Fredy Pacini, the owner of a tyre dealership in Monte San Savino, near the Tuscan city of Arezzo, told investigators he opened fire after being awoken by intruders early on Wednesday, sources said. One of the intruders, a 29-year-old Moldovan national, was killed, while an accomplice got away, according to the sources. The retailer is under investigation for excess of legitimate self defence.
He was sleeping at the outlet after being the victim of 38 robberies in a short period of time. He was cheered and applauded by local people when he returned to work on Wednesday. He also won the backing of Interior Minister and Deputy Premier Matteo Salvini.
“A new law will arrive in parliament on legitimate defence,” said Salvini. “I’m with those who defend themselves. “It is legitimate to attack someone who enters someone else’s home or shop, during the day or at night, to protect yourself or your family.

Italy: Would-be Jihadi Suicide Bomber Gets 5 Yrs 10 Mts
Moroccan Nabil Benamir was ready to attack
(ANSA) — Genoa, November 27 — A would-be Moroccan jihadi suicide bomber on Tuesday got five years and 10 months in jail for terror crimes.
Nabil Benamir was arrested in December 2017 after it was discovered that he was ready to blow himself and others up.
He was also sentenced to compensate the Italian state to the tune of 50,000 euros.
Prosecutors had asked for an eight-year and eight-month term for the man.
He is currently being held in the high-security prison at Sassari, where he has not forsworn his allegiance to jihad, investigators said.

A group of British Parliamentarians have demanded “Islamophobia” be officially classed as a form of racism in the UK, claiming the country is deeply prejudiced and unfair towards Muslims.
The new parliamentary report blames “prevalent” Islamophobia for divisions, hate crimes, and even terror attacks. It also appears to reject claims criminalising comments about Islam will restrict free speech and calls for an official definition of “Islamophobia.”
Examples of “Islamophobia” listed including claiming it is terrorism to support an independent Palestine, calling Muhammad a paedophile, and “claims of Muslims spreading Islam by the sword or subjugating minority groups under their rule.”…
The document comes from the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on British Muslims, which is led by leading anti-Brexit Tory MP Anna Soubry.
Tory Peer Baroness Warsi, the group’s Treasurer, commented on the document release: “Islamophobia is a form of racism — like antisemitism it’s time it got its own definition.”

UK: 30 Members of Muslim Rape Gang to be Tried Over Sexual Exploitation of Children in Huddersfield
Thirty people will go on trial charged with offences relating to the alleged sexual exploitation of children in Huddersfield, a judge has ruled.
Twenty five of the defendants appeared at Leeds Crown Court on Friday. The men have been charged with a total of 78 offences, including rape, sexual assault and trafficking.
The alleged offences date back to a period between 2005 and 2012, and relate to five female complainants then aged between 12 and 18.
Judge Simon Phillips QC said all the cases will be dealt with across three separate trials beginning in September 2019. The final trial will not begin until April 2020.
Eighteen of those who appeared in court on Friday were out on bail, with seven others in custody. A further five defendants who are custody did not appear, but were represented in court.
Only 20 of the 30 defendants can be named because of reporting restrictions.

UK: The BBC’s Shameful Silence on the Telford (Muslim Rape Gang) Sex Scandal
Last month, I wrote here about the BBC and ‘grooming gangs’. In particular, I speculated that it was unlikely that having once (after more than a decade) dramatized the mass gang-rape of British girls (and a man from Wales having partly been fired-up by it then ploughing a van into a crowd outside a mosque) that the BBC might not venture into such territory again. As I said, ‘nobody should be surprised if the BBC reverts to ignoring crimes like Rochdale in the future.’
As so often the situation is worse than I imagined. While I could see that the BBC drama department might be unlikely to again commission a programme looking at the most serious and widespread child-abuse to have occurred in Britain in modern times I thought that they might at least still report the news. No such luck.
The front page of yesterday’s Sunday Mirror read ‘Britain’s ‘worst ever’ child grooming scandal exposed: Hundreds of young girls raped, beaten, sold for sex and some even KILLED.’ Like the scandals in Rotherham, Rochdale, Oxfordshire and a growing list of other places, it seems that the victims are, once again, white British girls and the perpetrators men of ‘Asian’ background. Of course while in most other situations the word ‘Asian’ means ‘Asian’, for these purposes ‘Asian’ means ‘men of Muslim background, mainly Pakistani’.
The details of the Sunday Mirror’s investigation once again make for exceptionally difficult reading. The paper describes how girls as young as 11 were drugged, beaten and gang-raped in Telford. It describes how:

Caroline Glick: While AirBnB Boycotts, Israel Builds Its Diplomatic Strength
Airbnb’s partial boycott of Israel last week came just as the Arab world, Africa, and Eastern Europe moved closer to the Jewish state. These two diametrically opposed developments — one negative and one positive — showed that a race is on between competing global movements to determine whether Israel will sink or swim in the international area.
On the negative side, on November 19, the Silicon Valley-based tourism behemoth Airbnb announced that it is delisting Jewish-owned properties located in “Israeli settlements in the West Bank” from its website. Airbnb chose not to delist properties in the so-called “West Bank” owned by non-Jews.
Airbnb’s decision to adopt a policy that is openly discriminatory towards Jews was the result of years of lobbying and pressure from the UN Human Rights Council, which the Trump administration left in June. The UN Human Rights Council was joined in its campaign by the European Union (EU), by EU member states, and by U.S.-based foundations ideologically aligned with the hard left.
These forces, which share an aversion to nationalism, and ascribe to post-nationalist globalism, have combined since at least 2001 to achieve the goal of delegitimizing the existence of the Jewish state while legitimizing terrorism and war against Israel.

Chinese Civil Rights Activist: Vatican-China Pact is ‘A Deal With the Devil’
China’s most famous civil rights activist has joined the chorus of critics who have denounced the recent deal between the Vatican and Chinese Communist Party (CCP) as a “betrayal” of Chinese Catholics.
In an op-ed Monday, Chen Guangcheng, a blind scholar and human rights advocate, used the harshest language to describe China under communist rule, calling it an “extraordinarily dictatorial and authoritarian nation” where many kinds of freedoms that are taken for granted in the West are “routinely and often violently repressed.”
“Human rights activists and lawyers disappear and are tortured, while alternative political parties are crushed,” he said. “Calls for justice are met with the iron hand of the state.”
Because of his firsthand knowledge of the brutality of the Chinese communist state, Chen said he watched the Vatican’s rapprochement with China take shape with “intense shock and dismay.”
“What we currently know of the agreement is that the Vatican will cede selection of bishops in China to the Communist Party,” he said. “In exchange, the CCP will recognize the pope as the official head of the Catholic Church, and regular relations between the two states will be renewed.”

“The floor of parliament must debate it. The Italian government will allow parliament to decide”. Premier Giuseppe Conte also said the government will not do anything until parliament has expressed a view.
“The Global Migration Compact is a document that raises issues and questions that many citizens have strong feelings about,” Conte said.
“Therefore, we consider it right to put the debate in parliament and subject any final decision on the outcome of that debate, as Switzerland has done.
“So the government will not participate in Marrakech, reserving the option to adopt the document, or not, only when parliament has expressed its opinion”.

A Texas custody case splits a 6-year-old child’s gender identity in two
Six-year-old James is caught in a gender identity nightmare. Under his mom’s care in Dallas, Texas, James obediently lives as a trans girl named “Luna.” But given the choice when he’s with dad, he’s all boy — his sex at birth.
In their divorce proceedings, the mother has charged the father with child abuse for not affirming James as transgender, has sought restraining orders against him, and is seeking to terminate his parental rights. She is also seeking to require him to pay for the child’s visits to a transgender-affirming therapist and transgender medical alterations, which may include hormonal sterilization starting at age eight…
James exhibits no desire to be “Luna” the girl except when he is with his mother. The boy’s behavior offers a stinging rebuke of the diagnosis of gender dysphoria. This by all accounts is not a true or clinically correct diagnosis of gender dysphoria. Yet the therapist stands by her diagnosis and continues to keep “Luna” on track to gender transition.

Mother Forces Son to Dress as Girl, Dad’s Rights at Risk for Offering Choice

When James is in the custody of his father, he is asked to choose what clothes he prefers. And he invariably chooses boy’s clothing.
James’ mother took her son to a female gender transition therapist. The therapist, who specializes in helping children live with a sexual identity different from their physical genders, diagnosed James with gender dysphoria. This is the syndrome where a child persistently and constantly identifies him or herself as the other gender.
However, friends of the family told Walt Heyer in a publication for the Federalist that James only identifies as a girl when his mother is the present. When James is with his father, he consistently identifies as a boy.
Friends of the family who know James do not see feminine tendencies. …
According to the Federalist, James’ mother has accused her ex-husband of child abuse for not forcing James to choose to be a girl. The court has forbidden his father from discussing sexuality with James, and prohibits his father from teaching James about any aspects of the Christian religion which might reinforce James’ male identity.
James’ mother is also trying to get the court to force his father to pay for hormone treatments and possibly surgery, which would be irreversible for James.

Twitter’s “hateful conduct policy” has drawn criticism for its subjective and selectively enforced standards in the past. “We prohibit targeting individuals with repeated slurs, tropes or other content that intends to dehumanize, degrade or reinforce negative or harmful stereotypes about a protected category.” As if those rules weren’t murky enough, the policy now includes “misgendering or deadnaming of transgender individuals.”
Twitter banned feminist Meghan Murphy’s account for tweeting such statements as “Women aren’t men” and “How are transwomen not men? What is the difference between a man and a transwoman?” She was forced to delete these tweets in order to regain access to her Twitter account, after which she eventually doubled down in her rhetoric saying,
“This is f— bull—, @twitter. I’m not allowed to say that men aren’t women or ask questions about the notion of transgenderism at all anymore? That a multi-billion dollar company is censoring basic facts and silencing people who ask questions about this dogma is insane.”

UK: Transgender Murderer to Get Sex Change Operation at Taxpayer Expense
Former prison doctor decries “deep moral cowardice” that infects Britain
A transgender murderer in the UK serving a life sentence for torturing and beating a man to death has been given the green light to undergo a sex change operation at taxpayer expense.
Along with two accomplices, 27-year-old Paris Green (born Peter Laing), who has identified as a woman since 2011, tortured, sexually assaulted and beat a man to death and was jailed for life in 2013.
Green’s victim, 45-year-old Robert Shankland, was beaten so badly that his attackers left a footprint on his neck. He was also raped with a rolling pin. Green was initially held at a women’s prison in Stirling but was moved after having sex with other prisoners in the same cell.
Having claimed gender reassignment surgery as a human right, Green will now be transported on a 1,000-mile round-trip from a prison in Scotland to a hospital in the south of England before undergoing the surgery at a cost of tens of thousands of pounds.
The operation will be undertaken by NHS doctors, meaning that the British taxpayer will pick up the bill.

Watch: Drag Queen Admits He’s ‘Grooming’ Children at Story Hour Events
“This is going to be the grooming of the next generation. We are trying to groom the next generation.”
Drag queens are deliberately “grooming” the next generation to accept LGBT ideology when they read to children in public libraries at drag queen “story hour” events, a U.S. drag queen admitted.
Dylan Pontiff, a drag queen who helped organize one of these story hour events for children as young as three at the Lafayette Public Library in early October, is shown in a video making that shocking admission to the Lafayette City-Parish Council in Louisiana during a Sept. 17 meeting.
“This is going to be the grooming of the next generation. We are trying to groom the next generation,” said Pontiff, who when dressed in drag goes by the name Santana Pilar Andrews.
Pontiff said that as a drag queen he has performed in shows for adults that he compared to an R-rated film. He argued that he should be able to have access to children because, as an adult, he knows how to “filter” himself and make his content PG-rated.

We Now Live in a Land of Zealots and Lunatics
Today we have the mayor of New York openly and blatantly moving the city towards socialism. Meanwhile, management of city services has declined in deference to social services …. for votes. We have Democrat politicians openly promoting socialism as a federal policy in the land of the free and the brave. We have colleges telling the students that they can’t clap, or use ALL CAPS in their writings and essays. It might offend some people. We have students carrying the American flag on a high school campus expelled because they offended the illegal aliens attending the school who were flying a Mexican flag. Government is offering free health care, free college tuition and jobs without regard to the cost. We have government squelching strongly held religious beliefs with respect to the gay lifestyle and gay marriage, by threats, fines and incarceration. We have cities passing laws forcing artists that they “must” depict the gay lifestyle in their art even though it goes against their religions beliefs, much less their freedom of choice.
Because of very liberal immigration policies, we have illegal aliens believing they have every right to come into America and they have been crossing our borders illegally by the millions for decades, while the American taxpayer picks up the tab for their food, clothing, rent, health care and education. States and cities are adding to the chaos by creating safe zones for illegal aliens under a “sanctuary city” policy. Illegal immigration has now become an un-resolvable problem because the two parties will not come together on a reasonable, common sense compromise that favors the interests of legal Americans.
Zealots and lunatics occupy the halls of Congress and state legislatures, where compromise to solve pressing problems is blocked by political intransigence. One such lunatic Congressman, Eric Swalwell, threatened legal Americans with nukes if they didn’t hand over their guns when requested by government.
Environmental lunacy, promoted by zealot Democrats, with the help of the U. S. Congress and the U. S. Supreme Court, has gained so much power in politics that they have been successful in literally repealing Fifth Amendment property rights and shredding large parts of the Constitution. Worse than that, they are trying to force man-caused global warming down our throats, extract trillions more in taxes from us to solve this alleged human-caused problem, with the rational for such actions based on flawed science and made-as-instructed computer models. Gun control zealots (mostly Democrats) keep demanding more gun restrictions, even though restrictions by themselves will not stop mass shootings and they know it. They just want more control and their ultimate goal is gun confiscation of the general population, just like England and Australia. United Nation policies actually call for planet-wide gun confiscation of all citizens.

Magnus Carlsen Won the Chess World Championship Again, But Something Has Changed
Two weeks ago, at a press conference in London, after Round Five of the twelve-round world chess championship, the two competitors, Fabiano Caruana and Magnus Carlsen, were asked to name their favorite chess players from the past. Caruana answered with Bobby Fischer, the brilliant American whose dynamic play unsettled Soviet dominance of the game, at the height of the Cold War. Carlsen gave a different answer: “Probably myself, like, three or four years ago,” he said. Carlsen at twenty-three, the moderator pressed? “Yeah, twenty-three,” Carlsen said, with a nod and a smile. The media members in attendance laughed and applauded. It was classic Carlsen: arrogant and wryly self-deprecating at once, and very charming.

When I think of Minnesota, I think of conservative Christian or at least Christianised folk of Scandinavian descent. Safe, pleasant place.

IOW, Minneapolis has been creepy for quite some time. A for instance: some Somali student put up a big stink because a handicapped kid brought his service dog to school. Which reminds me of the posts I put up once about the even bigger stink that Islamic taxi-drivers made regarding service dogs at the airport. The spaces at airports are prime for taxis, but those guys thought they could walk all over the lily-livered municipal authorities. However, when push came to shove, they caved and agreed to carry the stinkin’ infidels and their vermin dogs.
Minneapolis is hell unless you’re wealthy enough to avoid reality.
