62 Percent of All U.S. Jobs Do Not Pay Enough to Support a Middle Class Life
We just got more evidence that the middle class in America is rapidly disappearing.
According to a shocking new study that was just released, 62 percent of all jobs in the United States do not pay enough to support a middle class life. That means that “the American Dream” is truly out of reach for most of the country at this point. Today, Americans are working harder than ever but the cost of living continues to rise much faster than our paychecks are increasing. Earlier this month, I went and looked at the latest numbers from the Social Security Administration, and I discovered that 50 percent of all American workers make less than $30,533 a year. But that is just above poverty level. In fact, the federal poverty level for a family of five is currently $29,420. Most families are just barely scraping by from month to month, and most U.S. workers are just one major setback away from falling out of the middle class.
It wasn’t always this way. At one time, America had the strongest and most vibrant middle class in the history of the world. But now this latest study has discovered that “it’s only 38 percent of people who get the middle class life or better”…
When wages are weighed against the cost of living in the largest 204 metropolitan regions across the nation, 62 percent of jobs don’t pay enough for a dual-income household with children to meet the definition of ‘middle class,’ according to a new ‘Opportunity Index’ developed by Third Way, a Washington D.C.-based think tank.
‘We were shocked to find out it’s only 38 percent of people who get the middle class life or better,’ said Ryan Bhandari, a policy advisor for Third Way, in an interview with DailyMail.com.
It is no wonder why so many people are shopping at Wal-Mart and the Dollar Tree these days.
For many Americans, those are the literally the only places they can afford to shop.

A Battle for the Soul of the American Republic

A Rules-Based Global Order or Rule-Less US Global ‘Order’?
The Trump Administration however now wants to unilaterally exit the INF. Speaking to reporters in Nevada, Trump said:
“Russia has violated the agreement. They’ve been violating it for many years and I don’t know why President Obama didn’t negotiate or pull out … We’re going to pull out … We’re not going to let them violate a nuclear agreement and do weapons, and we’re not allowed to”.
Asked to clarify, the President said: “Unless Russia comes to us and China comes to us and they all come to us, and they say, ‘Let’s all of us get smart and let’s none of us develop those weapons,’ but if Russia’s doing it and if China’s doing it and we’re adhering to the agreement, that’s unacceptable. So we have a tremendous amount of money to play with our military.”
The tell-tale markers are plain: Russia and China are ‘doing’ new weapons (and the US is behind the curve); China’s ‘doing it’ (and is not party to the INF treaty), and ‘we’ have a tremendous amount of money to play with our military (we can win an arms race and the military-industrial complex will be ecstatic).

Florida Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Gillum is the latest to be stung by a Project Veritas undercover video. A video released on Thursday shows a campaign staffer they identify as Omar Smith using a racial slur and saying the candidate makes promises he knows he can’t keep.
“It’s a cracker state,” Smith stated. “Get it? Ask anybody outside of here. You go Port St. Lucie, Orlando … man them crackers ain’t gonna let us do that sh*t dawg. Boy, you crazy?”
The arrogant staffer was asked about his relationship with his former college friend, by the undercover Project Veritas journalist. Smith tells her that Gillum is a phony and that voters don’t need to know that Gillum has no plans to follow through with his campaign promises. When the reporter asks him “what about the voters?” Smith replies, “That’s not for them to know.” Smith continued with his arrogant remarks, saying “Remember our saying? Modern day fairy tales start with ‘once I am elected.’“
Smith then revealed some very damning details behind the campaign’s strategy, telling the reporter how they get voters to the polls for Gillum on election day, “You whip ‘em up…the poor, the middle income. You have to whip them into a frenzy in order for them to vote.”
The project veritas captures it all, the deceit, the lies and arrogance of a man who has been hiding his true progressive agenda from the voters he’s been asking to vote for him.

Americans from the age of 18 to the age of 29 are voting in record numbers in many states that offer early voting.
Traditionally, young people have not turned out in high numbers for midterm elections, but that has apparently changed in a major way this time around. In fact, a massive increase in early voting by young people is one of the reasons why Nancy Pelosi is already declaring victory. Young adults are far more liberal than the population as a whole, and they overwhelmingly tend to vote for Democrats. The problem for Democrats in previous elections has been actually getting them to go vote, but in 2018 large numbers of young people appear to be highly motivated.
The statistics that are coming in are staggering. In Texas and Nevada, early voting by young adults is five times higher (500%) than it was four years ago…
One recent survey found that Americans from the age of 18 to the age of 29 favor Democrats over Republicans this election cycle by a 66 percent to 32 percent margin. Needless to say, that is very bad news for Republicans.

Candace Owens website ranks number 1 on every other major search engine; Not Google
Google is being accused of engaging in election meddling by burying Candace Owens’ Blexit website in its algorithm despite the website ranking number 1 on every other major search engine.
A user over at the Donald subreddit noticed the scandal and produced a series of screenshots to illustrate how Blexit, which is a campaign to encourage black people to leave the Democratic party, is being all but blacklisted by Google.
Typing ‘Blexit’ into Google results in nothing but negative news articles about the campaign, but that’s not the worse of it.

Reports that Boston crime boss James “Whitey” Bulger had been murdered hours after being transferred to a federal maximum security prison in West Virginia shocked the public on Tuesday, and immediately raised questions about the circumstances surrounding his death.
How was the inmate, who was reportedly in ill-health, murdered so quickly after arriving in the new prison? And how was it that guards weren’t monitoring such a high-profile inmate, particularly since it came out in his 2013 trial that he worked with the FBI for years ratting out rival mobsters to help consolidate his power in the Boston underworld?
While the federal government hasn’t released any more details about Bulger’s death, the Daily Mail and TMZ have managed to dig up some information that, if accurate, could indicate a motive for what may have been a killing tacitly sanctioned by senior law enforcement officials. According to the Mail, Bulger, who was confined to a wheelchair at the time of his death, had been talking about outing people in the upper echelons of the FBI’s informant program.

Sources also said Bulger hadn’t even been processed when he was killed. So, apparently, somebody in the prison population had been tipped off that he was coming. When he arrived, Bulger was mixed in with the general population, leaving him vulnerable.
According to TMZ’s sources, the circumstances of Bulger’s killing were fittingly brutal for the longtime crime boss, who has bragged about killing no fewer than 40 men, though he was convicted of being involved in 11 killings. Sources told TMZ that Bulger was wheeled into a secluded corner of the prison, where three inmates beat him with a lock in a sock, and then tried to gouge his eyes out — a punishment typically reserved for so-called “rats”.

Local Gun Shop Owner Offers Rabbis Free Weapons
COLORADO SPRINGS — Following the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting last Saturday, numerous people and organizations have stepped up to raise funds and offer assistance to the families of the victims.
Even the leader of the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh announced that the Muslim community has raised more than $70,000 for synagogue attack victims and their families. There’s been an outpouring of support at many vigils held across the nation.
Just outside of Colorado Springs, the owner of Dragon Arms is offering a different type of support. Mel Bernstein, the owner of the store, is offering to give rabbis a free AR-15 or a handgun. He’ll also include training and ammunition.

Over 100 people were reported to have walked out of the film’s screening at the French festival, as they were ‘disgusted’ by the many extremely violent scenes where victims including children were graphically murdered on screen…
Al Jazeera reporter Charlie Angela said she left midway through ‘because seeing children being shot and killed is not art or entertainment’…

Pipe Bombs: Frantic Denunciations of the False Flag Concept
The suggestion that the package bomb incidents might be false flag attacks— attacks by opponents of Trump deceptively imputing the attacks to his supporters to discredit them before the elections—was rapidly put forth. Among the fastest off the mark were right-wing pundits, so it was easy enough for various “liberals” (whatever this term means today in the U.S.) to characterize the false flag suggestion as a variety of right-wing conspiracy theory, and as both intellectually ridiculous and morally disgusting. Roseanne Reboot Flops Without Roseanne; “the Conners” Dead Last in Ratings
In an addendum, Showbiz 411 notes that Variety reported the salaries of John Goodman, Laurie Metcalf and Sara Gilbert at $375,000 per episode, while the other cast members can’t be cheap either. “The Conners’ has to be added to “Roseanne”‘s syndication package eventually— it will never reach 100 episodes and have its own package. So Werner TV is in trouble, with millions going out and not enough coming back. “The Conners” is doomed,” Showbiz 411 added.
The Roseanne reboot — which quickly grew to become ABC’s #1 top-rated series in April, was canceled after the network suddenly fired star Roseanne Barr after she compared former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett to if the “Muslim brotherhood & Planet of the Apes had a baby.” Her comments were condemned as “abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values.”
Barr, 65, was fired before a single advertiser pulled out, just three months into the show’s return. Her co-stars immediately turned on her, publicly shunning Roseanne, while ABC initially cancelled the show — before bringing it back as The Conners.

Scientists Have Just Named 17 New Slug Species, And They’re All Fabulous
Nudibranchs, colloquially known as sea slugs, are some of the more eye-popping critters to grace the world’s oceans. Now scientists are welcoming 17 newly-named species to the carnival-colored lineage.
Research published recently in the Zoological Journal of the Linnean Society chronicles the identity of sea slug specimens—all of the genus Hypselodoris—which were collected across the Indo-Pacific over the past decade. The 17 newcomers join the ranks of what the paper calls a “megadiverse” family: There are about 3,000 known species of nudibranchs found everywhere from shallow tidal pools to the deepest ocean trenches, according to senior study author Terry Gosliner, an invertebrate zoologist at the California Academy of Sciences who has personally helped describe about 1,000 sea slugs throughout his epically nudibranch-rich career.

30-Year-Old ‘Mohammed’ Arrested for Raping 10-Year-Old Girl in Swedish Courtyard
As we recently reported, a 10-year-old girl was raped in a courtyard in Malmö last week. A 30-year-old migrant from Libya has now been arrested for the rape.

Three Israeli military-contractor firms for the Iron Dome missile defense system, designed to intercept and destroy short-range rockets and artillery shells, were hacked by Beijing-linked hackers beginning in 2011 and 2012, according to a July 2014 article by Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post. They were Elisra Group, IAI, and Rafael Advanced Defense System.

In January this year, state-run media Xinhua first made mention of this strategy with a short article that largely went unnoticed, about a national conference on IT industry standards.

“Organized Busing Operation” Exposed, Moving Migrants Closer to US Border
Traveling at a sluggish pace of 10 miles per day, the migrant caravan probably wouldn’t arrive at the nearest US border crossing at McAllen, Texas until February, according to one observer, who debunked claims widely circulated by the media that the caravan would arrive before the Nov. 6 midterm election.
But as it turns out, the organizations that have been aiding the caravan since it first formed in Honduras nearly three weeks ago have already accounted for this. And to help ensure that images of border patrol agents arresting families and separating small children from their parents are flashing across cable news in the days and hours before the polls open, these groups are employing a new tactic: Busing.

Mexican Agents Nibble at Edges of Migrant Caravans
JUCHITAN, Mexico (AP) — Thousands of Central American migrants resumed their slow trek through southern Mexico on Thursday, as immigration agents and police nibbled at the edges of the two caravans currently in the country.
Mexican authorities haven’t directly targeted the main caravan of about 4,000 migrants, and activists aiding that group said they were shifting their route toward the Gulf coast, a path closer to the Texas border.
But a second, smaller caravan about 200 miles behind the first group appeared to be more leaderless, get less press attention and be more vulnerable.
A federal official who was not authorized to be quoted by name said 153 migrants in the second caravan were detained Wednesday during highway inspections in the southern state of Chiapas, a short distance from the Guatemalan border. While the precise size of the second caravan is unclear, that could be equivalent to about 10 percent of those participating.
And there was also pressure on the first caravan, which set out before dawn Thursday from Juchitan, Oaxaca, seeking to reach the town of Matias Romero, about 40 miles (65 kilometers) ahead.
They had tried to arrange bus transport from Juchitan, but failed, leaving them once again on foot, hitch-hiking and looking for rides where they can find them…

Obama’s Migration Record: Almost One Migrant for Every Two Graduates in 2016
President Barack Obama spiked legal and illegal immigration to a record level of 1.75 million in 2017 by accepting one migrant for every two young Americans who entered the workforce in 2017.
The huge inflow matched the record set in 1999 when Bill Clinton was president.
Obama’s wave of legal immigrants, illegal migrants, and visa workers rose from 1.1 million in 2009 to 1.75 million in 2017. In the same year, roughly four million Americans turned 18 and joined the workforce. The four million Americans included the children of immigrants as well as the children of illegal migrants.
Many of Obama’s migrants went home when their work visas ended or they were deported, but the inflow added more than 5.2 million migrants to the U.S. population from 2010 to 2017, according to federal data prepared by the Center for Immigration Studies.

Having mastered fake news, now the media are trying out a little fake history.
In the news business, new topics are always popping up, from the Logan Act and the emoluments clause to North Korea. The all-star panels rush to Wikipedia, so they can pretend to be experts on things they knew nothing about an hour earlier.
Such is the case today with “anchor babies” and “birthright citizenship.” People who know zilch about the history of the 14th Amendment are pontificating magnificently and completely falsely on the issue du jour.
If you’d like to be the smartest person at your next cocktail party by knowing the truth about the 14th Amendment, this is the column for you!
Of course the president can end the citizenship of “anchor babies” by executive order — for the simple reason that no Supreme Court or U.S. Congress has ever conferred such a right.
It’s just something everyone believes to be true.
How could anyone — even a not-very-bright person — imagine that granting citizenship to the children of illegal aliens is actually in our Constitution?
The first question would be: Why would they do that? It’s like being accused of robbing a homeless person. WHY WOULD I?
The Supreme Court has stated — repeatedly! — that the “main object” of the citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment “was to settle the question … as to the citizenship of free negroes,” making them “citizens of the United States and of the state in which they reside.”
Democrats, the entire media and House Speaker Paul Ryan seem to have forgotten the Civil War. They believe that, immediately after a war that ended slavery, Americans rose up as one and demanded that the children of illegals be granted citizenship!;

Trump ‘Wouldn’t be Surprised’ if Soros Helped Finance ‘Migrant Caravan’
In the wake of the deadliest attack on Jews in American history, President Trump late Wednesday doubled down on his support for the theory that financier and liberal donor George Soros may be financing the caravan — a theory that was originally propagated by Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz — during a brief huddle with reporters.
Asked if he believed that Soros or other Democratic donors have been financing the caravan, Trump said that, while he didn’t know, he “wouldn’t be surprised.”
“I wouldn’t be surprised. I don’t know who, but I wouldn’t be surprised. A lot of people say yes,” he told a Daily Mail journalist who asked him what he thought of the idea that Soros was funding the caravans.
The comments are almost guaranteed to provoke another round of outrage as some in the media have blamed Trump for inspiring suspect Robert Bowers’ attack on the Tree of Life synagogue in Squirrel Hill Pittsburgh with rhetoric blaming Soros — whom liberals see as a stand-in for antisemitism — for the caravan…
While it’s unclear who exactly is funding the massive coordinated operation to provide support and logistical help to the migrants during their journey, one thing should be obvious: They are getting help from somewhere. Over the past few weeks, aid workers have been spotted handing out cash to migrants, while local groups have supplied them with food and shelter. Most recently, migrants have been spotted boarding chartered buses that ferried them to their next stop toward the US.

YouTube Marks Tucker Carlson’s Immigration Video ‘Dangerous Content’
The battle between PragerU and YouTube just escalated — big time.
YouTube initially marked PragerU’s new video, featuring Fox News host Tucker Carlson, as “dangerous or derogatory content.” The ruling was taken down after two hours or so, but while it was up, PragerU was prevented from promoting or advertising the video. The content of the video centered around Tucker Carlson explaining the shifting outlook on legal and illegal immigration in the American landscape.
The video, headlined, “Illegal Immigration: It’s About Power,” was a well-constructed five minute argument about the source of “Si Se Puede,” which originated with labor activist Cesar Chavez. Carlson detailed the crimes Chavez perpetrated against illegal aliens in the 1950s, and then commented that President Obama made a holiday commemorating Chavez. Later in the video, Carlson talked about how Democratic Governor Jerry Brown (D-CA) and then Senator Joe Biden opposed mass immigration in the 1970s.
Carlson cited Yale studies, and argued that the Democrats wanted to bring in illegal immigrants in order to maintain a majority. How this is dangerous or derogatory was unclear.

Deliberate abortion, recognized as an act of killing innocent human life, was illegal. Killing for thrill, kids gunning one another down or murdering their parents, was unheard of. The list is long of the things that changed after the “liberation politics” of the second half of the 20th century.
Whatever the reader’s take on the “sea change” in America, it is hard to argue that the “liberation politics” of Progressives and “liberals” — AKA the left — has nothing to do with the current mindless violence, vulgarity, and discord in American society. The difference between before and after is great, by any measure.
Yet our “liberal” leaders continue to insist that we must never go back to the “oppressive” 1940s and 1950s, adding the digressive cliché that “you can’t turn back the clock,” while ignoring the evidence that Americans were freer and better off then than they are today.

Pro-Life Website Threatened by Web Provider for ‘Hate’ Speech
LifeSiteNews, a pro-life news outlet, has been attacked by left-wing activists so much that its web-hosting company is threatening to take it down. On October 27, the website announced that its company told the site that it was “implementing their ‘SUSPENSION OF SERVICES’ clause and giving [the site] 12 hours notice to move their website operations off of our servers.”
The web-host provider told LifeSiteNews that one of the reasons for the suspension was complaints made from a person named Adam Flanders. LifeSiteNews called Flanders a “homosexual activist” who it alleged was convicted of sex abuse.
Flanders sued a group called MassResistance in 2012 for defamation, only to have his lawsuit dismissed. In the same year, Flanders took action against a group called Roadkill Radio News, which led Vimeo to drop the group’s videos. Vimeo was accused of a breach of contract by a lawyer and restored the videos shortly after.

Well that is certainly true for the Western Hemisphere, especially for their modern part of history, but the Old World is very different in this regard. Comparing post-WWII immigration with the ancient movement of people is just…there’s absolutely no comparison at all! Comparing the numbers is ridiculous as well, at no point in time have millions of people suddenly flooded an area. There simply weren’t that many people around until fairly recently in history. Even after WWII the numbers surely didn’t reach hundreds of thousands of Poles flooding into Argentina or elsewhere per year. I highly doubt so many Poles emigrated in the first place, and if their numbers dispersed in various parts of the world.
And most importantly: they weren’t given anything. Perhaps Argentina was welcoming them as a workforce, but I’m certain that didn’t mean they were given housing, food and pocket money. I imagine if anyone came to Argentina and just demanded to be taken care of, it would’ve been a quick process. It would be even today, most likely.
I don’t mind if the Pope goes into politics after all his role was mostly politic (as a unifying force against outer threats) throughout history, but for that he needs to understand the bigger picture. Pope Francis clearly doesn’t have this quality.

I see the report was written by “invertebrate zoologist Terry Gosliner”; he must be pretty spineless then.
I suppose Soros must have his own genus when it comes to invertebrates.
Things like Soros reproduce by fission like all bacteria. In fact, Bacteria have a taxonomic phylum (Bacteria) all of their own and within it a domain of their own separate from the Eukaryota and the Archaea, all of which are lower down the evolutionary scale than, say, the Molusca to which slugs belong. Very fitting for the Soros clan.
Reminds me of a poem I saw many years ago, and decidedly non-pc now:

Keeping secret the secrets your friends entrust you with is a pretty fundamental requirement of a good ongoing relationship. Israel need America as a friend more than it needs China. If these claims of loose security on the Israeli side are true, it’s highly concerning. And may put at risk future state of the art defence technology sharing with Israel by the US.
In response to first article:. On the surface, that does sound so sad, but…some questions to make a more balanced view:. How many of these adults surveyed are even working? How many are honestly looking? How many are working just to the limit to not giving up public welfare of any kind?
Knowing both folks doing the last as well as a number of family members both “on the dole” or not using a college degree as “don’t want to work that hard”…. I rather look at this askance.
