The Austrian government is considering imposing restrictions on the possession of bladed weapons by asylum seekers. Under the plan, migrants would not be allowed to possess knives, but exceptions would be made for hunting knives and kitchen knives.

QE Did Little to Fuel Small Business Growth: Experts
Designed to fuel wanted inflation and investment by buying bonds from banks, QE was meant to help clear the books of Europe’s banks and provide money for lending. The ECB purchased existing corporate and government bonds, replacing those with fresh cash intended to jumpstart lending to businesses and households.
But that didn’t happen, say experts. Instead the banks used the massive cash inflow it to shore up their balance sheets and make their own investments.
Giulio Sapelli, professor of economic history at the University of Milan, says “its proof that monetary policy is used to save banks alone. Monetary policy serves to save banks but does not serve economic growth.”

Brett Kavanaugh Confirmed to the U.S. Supreme Court
After weeks of a tense confirmation battle, the U.S. Senate confirmed Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court on Saturday afternoon, in a 50-to-48 vote. The vote followed party lines, with two exceptions: Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.V.) and Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska). Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.) was absent for his daughter’s wedding. In honor of his absence, Murkowski withdrew her vote.

Capitol Police on October 3 arrested 27-year old congressional staffer Jackson Cosko for posting on Wikipedia the private addresses of three members of the Senate Judiciary Committee—what’s known as “doxxing” (a word derived from the shorthand for “document”). Cosko is facing serious charges that include illegally posting private information of public figures, witness tampering, threats, identity theft, and unlawful entry.
In the mainstream media, Cosko is being portrayed as a hapless overzealous intern who didn’t even have the smarts to cover up his criminal act. His former boss— Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-Texas) has denied she knew anything about Cosko’s activities. In a press conference held this week, Jackson-Lee explained that she fired Cosko and is cooperating with officials investigating the crimes. (Interestingly, cameras recorded Jackson-Lee passing an envelope to Christine Blasey Ford’s lawyer just before her testimony got underway.)

In the Democratic Party primary held on June 26, 2018, 28-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez defeated 10-term incumbent Joe Crowley by 15 percentage points, a wide margin in any election. Although she has never held any elected position, she is now considered a shoe-in for election to the House of Representatives. When she takes her place in Congress next January, she will be the youngest female ever to serve in that body.
In her June primary race, veteran Democrat Crowley had been endorsed by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, both New York senators, 11 U.S. members of Congress, New York City’s mayor, 31 locally elected officials, and 31 trade unions. In addition, he had the backing of an array of leftist groups that included Sierra Club, Planned Parenthood, the Working Families Party, NARAL Pro-Choice America, and Moms for Gun Sense. The veteran incumbent had a $3.4 million war chest and his upstart opponent’s campaign fund showed had less than $200,000. Ocasio-Cortez gained a few endorsements from groups on the far left such as MoveOn.org, Justice Democrats, Brand New Congress, Black Lives Matter, and Democracy for America.
The result is both fairly easy to understand and fairly frightening to contemplate. Ocasio-Cortez rode to victory on the coattails of proud socialist Bernie Sanders. Most will recall that Vermont’s unabashed senator came very close to upsetting Hillary Clinton in the 2016 race for the Democratic Party’s presidential nomination.
While the victories of one or more Sanders-style politicians in congressional races is disturbing, the possibility of many more implementing the Karl Marx’s program is downright scary. But throwing a scare into many Americans is precisely what Sanders, Ocasio-Cortez, and others mean to accomplish.

A coalition of healthcare providers wants to end the “epidemic” of gun violence and implement an “evidence-based policy” on guns. The organization is called SAFE (Scrubs Addressing the Firearm Epidemic). While reducing violence is a noble goal, the group isn’t focused on eliminating the actual triggers that cause violence or the conditions of the heart that breed violent outcomes.
Instead, they want to get as many firearms out of the hands of law abiding citizens as possible. SAFE merely wants to give doctors authority over patient’s second amendment rights, to get patients to talk about the guns they have in their homes, so more action can be taken on guns. As the medical profession gathers intel about gun owners and puts firearm ownership on healthcare records, liberal doctors can make a case that certain gun owners are mentally or physically unfit to own a firearm.
Last week, thirty medical schools demonstrated at hospitals across the country. Thousands of medical students paraded the hospital halls, donning scrubs with SAFE’s bright red logo. Calling for tougher gun control and more federal funding for gun violence research, the students walked around hospitals oblivious to the actual causes of violence. SAFE wants doctors to be trained on how to talk with patients about guns, yet this group is oblivious to the damage their profession does when they prescribe psychiatric drugs to patients.

An asylum seeker who has only been in Canada for 18 months was sent a voter registration card from Elections Canada, the Sun has learned.
The letter, dated Sept. 12, 2018 and addressed to Jacqueline, a woman who arrived in Canada in the spring of 2017, informs her that she is “not currently registered to vote in federal elections.”
The letter urges her to register by Oct. 23, 2018, stating that, “registering in advance will ensure you’re on the voters list and will save you time at the polls.”

Fincantieri and the French Naval Group are competing for a Romanian navy contractor from 1,6 billion for the construction of four corvettes and the refitting of two 22R Fregate. The offers have already been submitted and will be examined by Romtehnica, the procurement agency of the Ministry of Defense. Romtehnica must notify the winner within the next 26 October. The requirements for the race, writes Sole 24 hours, are very stringent and the corvettes and frigates will have to be built and modernized in a site in Romania or on the Danube or the Black Sea and must be built “by entities based in European Union, or in a NATO member state “, to anemicize Asian competition.
The first unit should be built in three years, the rest within seven years. Fincantieri has proposed to the Romanian Navy a corvette of the Abu Dhabi class adapted to the specific requirements of the client. These are very manageable and optimized ships for different operational roles. Fincantieri’s offer also includes the participation of Leonardo as a supplier of radar, command and control equipment, communications, artillery and anti submarines and as a system integrator. Italy: Petition to Name Rimini Street After Late Beach Playboy King
Telegraph runs obit on ladykiller ‘Zanza’
(ANSA) — Rimini, October 4 — A petition has been launched to have a street or piazza in Rimini named after the famed Romagna resort’s legendary late playboy king Maurizio ‘Zanza’ Zanfanti.
Proponents said “Zanza helped Rimini to be known and appreciated in Italy, Europe and the world”.
The campaign is close to getting the 1,500 online signatures it needs.
The Daily Telegraph ran an obit Thursday on the life and achievements of Zanfanti, who was known worldwide.
Zanza, who would have turned 63 later this month, died of a heart attack after having sex with a 23-year-old eastern European friend and escort on September 25. Thousands including Rimini’s mayor turned out for his funeral in the resort’s monumental cemetery last week. Zanza achieved fame outside Italy, particularly in Sweden, Norway, the UK and Germany, where Bild ran a two-page article on him, calling him the “Sex Bomber Der Nation”. (ANSA) — Rome, October 4 — The 2019 budget will cut military spending including arms, Deputy Premier Luigi Di Maio told the Senate Thursday.
“It’s a budget of the people also due to the cuts it makes to certain privileges that were only recognised for banks, for cuts to useless military spending” such as “arms spending which had to be cut and we will start to cut them,” he said.
“Bloated” and useless civil service costs would be cut too, he said.

Swiss Banks Now Exposing Tax Cheats
It’s the end of an era for Switzerland’s notorious secret bank accounts, as the world’s historical haven for managing offshore wealth began automatically sharing client data with tax authorities in dozens of other countries, according to Reuters.
The Federal Tax Administration (FTA) said on Friday it had for the first time exchanged financial account data at the end of September under global standards that aim to crack down on tax cheats.
Bank secrecy still exists in some areas — Swiss authorities cannot automatically see what citizens have in their domestic bank accounts, for example — but gone are the days when well-paid European professionals could stash wealth across the border and beyond the prying eyes of their tax man. — —Reuters
The information exchange was originally slated for EU countries plus nine other jurisdictions: Australia, Canada, Guernsey, Iceland, Isle of Man, Japan, Jersey, Norway and South Korea, however “Cyprus and Romania are currently excluded as they do not yet meet the international requirements on confidentiality and data security,” according to the FTA.

Teen Daughter of Marine Le Pen Hospitalised After Assault by Two Men
The teenage daughter of French populist leader Marine Le Pen was violently assaulted outside a bowling alley bar in Nanterre, forcing her to be taken to a local hospital in the area.
The attack on the 19-year-old took place at the exit of a bowling alley bar at Nelson Mandela Square on Thursday night while she and her 18-year-old cousin were leaving the bar. Two men aged 32 and 47 from Nanterre approached the two and physically assaulted them at around 2 am, Le Parisien reports.
After the police were called, the two suspects were arrested at the scene when officers arrived at the bar. Investigators have so far not commented on the cause of the attack but the cousin of Ms Le Pen’s daughter has filed charges with police against the two men.

It has been revealed that ten babies, aged less than one year, were barbarically abused with mutilation within three months, the Birmingham Mail reports.

Brighton and Hove City Council’s “Trans Inclusion Schools Toolkit” tells teachers “it may be necessary and advisable to activate safeguarding procedures” if worried about a child’s “wellbeing and or safety” when faced with a parent who says, “I refuse to allow my son to change his name or wear skirts.”

China Tariffs Will Rise, Even Double Without ‘Reciprocal Deal, ‘ Pence Warns
Revisiting the tariffs on $250 billion in Chinese goods the Trump administration has levied on Chinese goods, Pence said, “as the president has also made clear, we will levy even more tariffs, with the possibility of substantially more than doubling that number, unless a fair and reciprocal deal is made.” The remarks were met with applause from the Hudson Institute event audience.
He added that the highest tariffs are targeting “the advanced industries that Beijing is trying to capture and control.” …
“Beijing compelled Delta Airlines to publicly apologize for not calling Taiwan a ‘province of China’ on its website,” Pence charged. “And it pressured Marriott to fire a U.S. employee who merely liked a tweet about Tibet.”

It punishes studios and producers that don’t,” he went on. “For the movie, World War Z, they had to cut the script’s mention of a virus because it originated in China. Chip-Level Spying Has a Long History Under the Chinese Regime
If Chinese spy chips were found in the hardware of Apple and Amazon (they were according to a report by Bloomberg; the two companies deny their servers were compromised), this should have been expected. There’s a long history of cases like this.
The Senate Armed Services Committee warned of this threat in May 2012, and found over 1 million counterfeit parts in U.S. military systems—largely from China.
Here’s a quote from that report: “The investigation uncovered dozens of examples of suspect counterfeit electronic parts in critical military systems, including on thermal weapons sights delivered to the Army, on mission computers for the Missile Defense Agency’s Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) missile, and on a large number of military airplanes.” …
In June 2010, Chinese-made memory cards in Olympus Stylus Tough cameras were found to be infecting computers. The same virus was found in memory cards of Samsung smartphones.
And similar embedded threats were found in Chinese-made TomTom GPS systems and other devices that were being sold at places including Best Buy, Target, and Sam’s Club. A list of cases could go on for a while. …
The same Senate report said, “The Chinese government has failed to take steps to stop counterfeiting operations that are carried out openly in that country.”
Going by the recent case, it doesn’t look like the public or private program did much good.
The list of threats like this could go on for some time. What we’re seeing with threats from Chinese chip makers is an ongoing problem that the U.S. government and major companies are aware of, yet have not properly addressed.

Interpol Begs Beijing for Information on Europe’s Top Cop
Following reports that Interpol chief Meng Hongwei, 64, had been “taken away for questioning” by Chinese disciplinary authorities almost immediately after arriving in China last week, Bloomberg reported that the supranational law-enforcement agency had formally asked Beijing for “a clarification” about Meng’s status.
Meng, who is also a deputy minister for public safety in China though he had been living with his family in Lyon, France, where Interpol’s headquarters is based, was reported missing by his wife earlier this week, prompting prosecutors in France to open an investigation. That investigation is continuing despite confirmation that Meng is being held by the Chinese government.

Remarks by Vice President Pence on the Administration’s Policy Toward China
[…]After the fall of the Soviet Union, we assumed that a free China was inevitable. Heady with optimism at the turn of the 21st Century, America agreed to give Beijing open access to our economy, and we brought China into the World Trade Organization.
Previous administrations made this choice in the hope that freedom in China would expand in all of its forms -— not just economically, but politically, with a newfound respect for classical liberal principles, private property, personal liberty, religious freedom — the entire family of human rights. But that hope has gone unfulfilled.
The dream of freedom remains distant for the Chinese people. And while Beijing still pays lip service to “reform and opening,” Deng Xiaoping’s famous policy now rings hollow.
Over the past 17 years, China’s GDP has grown nine-fold; it’s become the second-largest economy in the world. Much of this success was driven by American investment in China. And the Chinese Communist Party has also used an arsenal of policies inconsistent with free and fair trade, including tariffs, quotas, currency manipulation, forced technology transfer, intellectual property theft, and industrial subsidies that are handed out like candy to foreign investment. These policies have built Beijing’s manufacturing base, at the expense of its competitors -— especially the United States of America.
China’s actions have contributed to a trade deficit with the United States that last year ran to $375 billion —- nearly half of our global trade deficit. As President Trump said just this week, in his words, “We rebuilt China” over the last 25 years.

Germany Will Become African and Islamic if Mass Migration Isn’t Stopped — Former General
Gerd Schutze-Rhonhof, a former major-general, commented on the proposed migration pact of the U.N. which is supposed to be passed in December.

Germany’s Merkel Favors Even More Immigrants
Even in the face of a rising tide of anti-immigration feeling in Germany that threatens her party’s continued rule, German Chancellor Angela Merkel has actually worked out a deal with the legislative partners of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) to attract even more foreigners into the country.
In Germany, as in other multi-party parliamentary systems, it is rare for one political party to hold enough seats to govern without seeking a coalition with other parties. Merkel’s CDU works with the Bavarian CSU and the center-left SPD, and she was able to come to an agreement with them to import more immigrants into Germany.
The reason given for this new policy is to alleviate Germany’s worker shortage.
Merkel’s pro-immigration policy, however, is opposed by the Alternative for Germany (AfD), which has risen to become the party with the second-highest number of seats in the Bundestag, now holding more than 90 seats. Opposition to the increased number of immigrants coming from outside the European Union (EU), mostly from Middle Eastern countries, has led to speculation that Merkel’s coalition may eventually lose control, mainly over this issue.

Germany Seeks Skilled Migrants

The new law, which will tighten restrictions on the immigration of unskilled workers, is a tacit admission that Chancellor Angela Merkel’s open-door migration policy, which has allowed into Germany more than a million mostly unskilled migrants from Africa, Asia and the Middle East, has failed to resolve the country’s most pressing demographic challenges and labor shortages. …
Germany will need to take in 300,000 migrants annually for the next 40 years to stop population decline, according to a leaked government report. The document, parts of which were published by the Rheinische Post, revealed that the German government is counting on permanent mass migration to keep the current size of the German population (82.8 million) stable through 2060.
The report implied that Chancellor Merkel’s decision to allow into the country some 1.5 million mostly Muslim migrants between 2015 and 2016 was not primarily a humanitarian gesture, but a calculated effort to stave off Germany’s demographic decline and to preserve the future viability of the German welfare state, in which the young are obligated support the elderly.
The report stressed the need quickly to integrate migrants into the workforce so that they can begin paying into the social welfare system. “According to past experience, this will not be easy and will take longer than initially often hoped,” the report conceded. “Successes will only be visible in the medium to long term.” …
Over the long-term, the 2015 migrant crisis could end up costing German taxpayers more than one trillion euros — the equivalent of around one-third of Germany’s current GDP — according to calculations presented by economist Bernd Raffelhüschen on behalf of the Market Economy Foundation (Stiftung Marktwirtschaft). He concluded:
“We need people, that is clear. But we need people we need. Which means: Germany needs an immigration limitation law. Only those who fit into the German qualification requirements may come. Other countries do that too. One must have the courage to discriminate, that is to select.”

Hispanic Voters Favor Strong Border: Poll
Majority of Hispanic voters want secure borders and stronger immigration law enforcement, according to a June 24-25 poll.
Almost two thirds (62 percent) of the voters preferred secure borders to “basically open borders,” the Harvard-Harrison poll found, while 52 percent believed current border security is inadequate. Over half (51 percent) also agreed immigration law enforcement needs to be stricter, rather than looser.
Majority of the voters (57 percent) believed people who illegally cross the border should not be prosecuted for breaking the law. But majority (52 percent) also believed that those crossing illegally should be sent home. Even when parents with children cross into the U.S. illegally, 53 percent of Hispanic voters believed they should be sent home

The number of migrants and refugees entering Greece from Turkey is increasing, according to data released on Friday by the U.N. Refugee Agency (UNHCR).

Secretary of State Pompeo Continues Obama’s LGBT “Imperialism”
Under the leadership of U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, the U.S. State Department has continued the Obama-era policy of forcing the militant LGBT agenda down the throats of foreign nations and peoples. From openly celebrating homosexual “pride” month and flying rainbow flags at U.S. embassies around the world to brazenly smearing biblical views on homosexuality as “bigotry” or a “phobia,” Pompeo´s State Department has been haranguing governments worldwide to embrace the LGBT movement. The department has also vowed to fight alleged “discrimination” against homosexuals and those confused about their biological sex all over the planet. But critics of the increasingly radical policy pointed out that Pompeo and the U.S. government have no public mandate to force the radical homosexual agenda on foreign countries — and no constitutional authority to do so, either.
The acronym LGBT, which stands for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender, has become a banner used by an aggressive, well-financed and truly international movement. With help from the Obama administration and other left-wing Western governments, it has already largely hijacked the apparatus of the United Nations, even though most of its member states never consented. And apparently, operatives of the LGBT movement have been able to hijack the U.S. State Department as well, regardless of which party is in power. That means nations and peoples all over the world are facing a multi-pronged and historically unprecedented assault on their national sovereignty, self-government, traditions, beliefs, cultures, and religious views that threaten to overturn the very foundations of human civilization. Employees of the State Department are being forced into LGBT re-education programs. And U.S. taxpayers are paying for it all — to this day.
In May, Pompeo issued a bizarre statement in honor of what he called the “International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia.” Critics noted, first of all, that Pompeo had adopted the exact language of the radical LGBT movement. This movement holds that Christians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, and all others who reject homosexual behavior as sinful or disordered must somehow have a “phobia” — defined as an irrational fear — of homosexuals and people confused about their biological reality. “Fear and bigotry are enshrined in laws that criminalize LGBTI status or conduct in more than 70 countries,” Pompeo complained in the statement, without noting that sodomy was still a crime even in many parts of America less than two decades ago, when the Supreme Court usurped the authoriy to strike down centuries-old state laws banning the practice in Lawrence v. Texas.
Adding insult to injury, Pompeo even implied that the principles upon which the United States was founded somehow imply that homosexual acts and obscene pride parades in public are a fundamental “human right.” In reality, homosexual activity was a crime for virtually all of U.S. history, including in many states throughout most of Pompeo’s life. “The United States firmly opposes criminalization, violence and serious acts of discrimination such as in housing, employment and government services, directed against LGBTI persons,” Pompeo said, sounding a lot like the Obama administration and conflating rejection of the LGBT agenda with violence. “We use public and private diplomacy to raise human rights concerns, provide emergency assistance to people at risk, and impose visa restrictions and economic sanctions against those who persecute them.”
Pompeo also firmly aligned the State Department with the most radical and extreme elements of the LGBT movement — including those who demonize billions of Christians, Muslims, Jews, and others around the world as “hateful,” “intolerant,” “bigoted,” and “homophobic” for rejecting homosexuality as sinful or disordered. “On the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia, the United States stands with people around the world in affirming the dignity and equality of all people regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or sex characteristics,” he said. “Human rights are universal, and LGBTI people are entitled to the same respect, freedoms, and protections as everyone else.” The I stands for “Intersex.”
On June 1, Secretary of State Pompeo again put out a pro-LGBT official statement in honor of what he dubbed “LGBTI Pride Month.” “The United States joins people around the world in celebrating Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex (LGBTI) Pride Month, and reaffirms its commitment to protecting and defending the human rights of all, including LGBTI persons,” Pompeo said, without explaining when homosexual activity or “sex changes” involving genital mutilation became a “human right” or by what authority. The secretary also expressed concern that homosexuals in some parts of the world have not been free to march down the streets expressing pride in what virtually every culture and society throughout human history has regarded as sin and perversion. Indeed, the U.S. State Department has been openly supporting these “Pride” marches around the world…
First, the movement simply claimed it wanted to end criminal laws and mental-health labels aimed at homosexual activity. Next, it sought to put children in the hands of homosexuals via adoption. Then it sought to redefine — or undefine — marriage to include homosexual couples. And now, the movement aims to silence all criticism and opposition to the LGBT agenda, using the force of government and other forms of terror against those who defy its increasingly radical dogma. In some Western nations, it has already succeeded, criminalizing any dissent against LGBT orthodoxy. Even pastors have been jailed for preaching from the Bible. But jail for critics will not be the end point. One Western government even investigated the Bible´s verses on homosexuality and concluded that they represented a violation of “hate speech” laws.

How Globalists Plan to Use Technology and Poverty to Enslave the Masses
Tyranny is often seen as a sudden and inexplicable development in a society; the product of a singular despot that rockets to power for a limited window of time due to public fear or stupidity. This is one of the great lies of the modern era.
The truth is that for at least the past century almost every historically despised “tyrant” was merely a puppet of a larger managerial cabal, and the construction of each totalitarian state was accomplished slowly and quietly over the course of decades by those same financial elitists. From the Bolsheviks, to Hitler and the Third Reich, to Mao Zedong, to most tin-pot dictators across the Middle East and Africa, there has always been an organized group of money men and think tanks fueling the careers of the worst politicians and military juntas of the epoch.
The rise of a tyrannical system takes extensive time, planning and staging. Human beings do not simply jump right into the arms of a dystopian nightmare regime impulsively at a moment’s notice. We have been told by popular media that this is how it works; that during hard economic or social conditions men with charismatic personalities and evil intentions suddenly rise to the surface and take power by promising a better world in exchange for public fealty. But where did those economic and social crises come from to begin with? Were they a natural consequence of the era, or were they deliberately engineered?
The reality is that people must be psychologically conditioned to trade freedom for the illusion of safety. Sometimes this takes generations. Every attempt at a totalitarian framework inevitably elicits a rebellion. Therefore, the most successful tyranny would be one that the public DEMANDS. They have to think it is their idea, otherwise they will eventually fight it…
For example, India’s government has been hitting the news feeds lately as their supreme court recently ruled that the controversial Aadhaar biometric program is legal. In a nation of 1.3 billion people, around 1 billion have already been biometrically profiled in a national database. This data can include fingerprints, iris scans and face scans.
I have heard it argued that India is a rather odd place to experiment with such a database, considering 60% of the population is under the poverty line and most people barely have basic amenities. But I would point out that this is why it is a PERFECT place for the globalists to start cataloging the world population on larger scale.
Again, financial desperation and a lack of productions skills tends to produce subservience. Hundreds of millions of poverty stricken people in India’s sprawling urban sewers are voluntarily giving up their biometric data in exchange for government aid programs.
For the people not anchored down by the poor economy India has instituted other measures, including requiring anyone accessing government services, opening a bank account or signing up for a mobile phone service also give up their biometrics to the government. In nations not yet impoverished at India’s level, more subversive measures have been instituted for surveillance of the population. Data is simply taken rather than traded…
China is representative of the end game for the globalist ideal for civilization. With mass economic struggle leading to dependency on government welfare programs and employment opportunities, few citizens can afford to be “blacklisted.” China’s social credit system creates an environment in which any and every action on the part of citizens is tracked and then “rated” for acceptance or consequence. This includes how people express attitudes toward the government itself. Obviously, this is the ultimate control mechanism, very similar to the Cheka established by Lenin and Stalin in Russia after the Bolshevik Revolution, but on a massive digital scale.

Report: 447 Christian Missionaries Killed Since 2000
At least 447 Christian missionaries have “died violently” in the first 17 years of the third millennium, the Fides news agency announced in a special report Saturday.

I don’t even know if anyone other than his fellow tribesmen is sick for Nurmagomedov? In the tape, absolutely everyone who is interested in this at all, even not only Russians, is strongly opposed.

As long as this problem – the incompatibility of mentalities and active hostility between the two parts of the “nation” – is not perceived as a problem, while it is silenced or out of whack with talk about “inter-ethnic friendship” – it is not solved. And sooner or later explode.

This is interesting. But why would asylum seekers need hunting knives? It would mean that they are allowed to hunt which would further mean that they must be allowed to have guns. Sounds strange to me.
I agree; doesn’t seem like much of a restriction. After all, how do they define a hunting knife or a kitchen knife? I would think it more likely that these are the kinds of knives being used in their acts of jihad anyway, since those are what is most likely available to them for purchase or theft.
I think that hunting knives are mostly carried in sheaths, so safe and concealed and have more stable blades. To carry a kitchen knife in your pocket bears a certain danger for yourself and cheap blades do break easily. But I share your doubt about these restrictions.

Seriously the only way to stop this is deportation without any chances of comming back or castration upon arrival. The National Secular Society exists to challenge the relatively close relationship in the UK between the State and religious interests, historically Christian ones but increasingly Muslim. The following item from its current Bulletin was the most alarming of many:
“Holding ‘theologian’ judge to account
We’re pursuing a case against a judge who acted as an Islamic theologian during the trial of the Parsons Green bomber.
In March Mr Justice Haddon-Cave sentenced Ahmed Hassan and told him “the Qur’an is a book of peace”, “Islam is a religion of peace” and “the Qur’an and Islam forbid anything extreme”.
Haddon-Cave told Hassan that perpetrating terror to “cause corruption in the land” is “one of the most severe crimes in Islam” and his actions had “violated the Qur’an and Islam”.
As we mentioned in the summer Bulletin, we initially appealed to the Judicial Conduct Investigations Office (JCIO). We said the comments had undermined the principle of neutrality and impartiality and may have given rise to the perception Hassan was being treated differently for religious reasons.
The JCIO dismissed our claim with a highly unsatisfactory response. It said Haddon-Cave’s reference to the Qur’an being “a book of peace” was “founded on case law”. It accepted his claim there was “a legitimate public interest” in making such statements to “address Islamophobia”.
The judicial ombudsman then dismissed our claim on the grounds that he couldn’t find maladministration. We are now taking this up with the Ministry of Justice.”
Now, as we know, case law is judge-made law that can only be overruled by a higher court or by Act of Parliament. If case law says that the Qur’an is a book of peace this must be so. When the facts conflict with the law, the facts must yield.

It’s not like they would abide by those rules in the first place, but allowing them to carry knives that can easily reach sizes of 20cm in lenght doesn’t seem like a prevention of crime at all. If they’re targetting machetees, I doubt those are used commonly at all, as opposed to the aforementioned hunting and kitchen knives. Seems like an attempt to calm the public down by pretending they’re doing something against the criminals, without restricting them at all.
