After Being Shot by Cops, Driver Careens Into Home as Family Slept, Police Say
Two Miami Gardens police officers were injured after being struck by a vehicle trying to flee police, before they shot and killed the driver, Miami Gardens police said Friday.
After the suspect was shot, the black SUV he was driving careened across the street and into a home where a family was sleeping. No one in the home was injured, according to police.
Officers “approached the car and got the driver’s attention,” said Miami Gardens police chief Delma Noel-Pratt. “The vehicle tried to flee and struck my officers. The officers discharged their weapons.”
Noel-Pratt said an officer was on routine patrol at about 4 a.m. when he spotted the vehicle on Northwest 189th Street, between First and Second avenues. The officer ran the license plate and it came back stolen. The officer called for backup. When backup arrived, the officers approached the vehicle.

Federal Judge “Shocked” To Find Obama State Dept Lied to Protect Hillary From Email Server Lawsuits
The noose appears to be tightening further around the law-less behaviors of the Obama administration in their frantic efforts to protect former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton from lawsuits seeking information about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email server and her handling of the 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
As Fox News reports, the transparency group Judicial Watch initially sued the State Department in 2014, seeking information about the response to the Benghazi attack after the government didn’t respond to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. Other parallel lawsuits by Judicial Watch are probing issues like Clinton’s server, whose existence was revealed during the course of the litigation.
The State Department had immediately moved to dismiss Judicial Watch’s first lawsuit, but U.S. District Court Judge Royce Lamberth (who was appointed to the bench by President Ronald Reagan) denied the request to dismiss the lawsuit at the time, and on Friday, he said he was happy he did, charging that State Department officials had intentionally misled him because other key documents, including those on Clinton’s email server, had not in fact been produced.

Man Gets Life for Walmart Shooting That Killed 3
A man who shot and killed three people at a Walmart in suburban Denver has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
Scott Ostrem was sentenced Friday to three consecutive life terms plus 48 years after reaching a deal with prosecutors, who agreed not to seek the death penalty.
Prosecutors say the 48-year-old walked into the store in Thornton on Nov. 1, 2017, fired seven shots in about 20 seconds and left without saying a word. Investigators say they still don’t know his motive.
Killed were 26-year-old Victor Vasquez, 52-year-old Pamela Marques and 66-year-old Carlos Moreno. Some of their family members spoke at Friday’s hearing.
Ostrem pleaded guilty to three counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted first-degree murder for endangering 45 other people inside the store…

Shortly after the Capital Gazette newsroom shooting, which killed five people, Reuters editor Rob Cox blamed Trump for the murders, tweeting, “This is what happens when @realDonaldTrump calls journalists the enemy of the people. Blood is on your hands, Mr. President. Save your thoughts and prayers for your empty soul.”
Cox later had to apologize after it emerged that the gunman’s motive was a long term grudge against the newspaper stretching back to 2011.

Censorship measures have now been lifted regarding the trials of the 20 mostly Muslim, Pakistani child rapists in Huddersfield, who have now been jailed.

Paul Johnson set fire to a Methodist church and a Sikh gurdwara in Scotland because he had “issues” with religion and wanted to make a “political statement”, a court has heard.
The unemployed 49-year-old admitted to two counts of wilful fire-raising aggravated by religious prejudices at Edinburgh High Court on Thursday, reports the Daily Record.
Johnson had set fire to the doors of the Methodist Church and the Guru Nanak temple in the Scottish capital in the early hours of August the 28th, 2018, and admitted to involvement when questioned by police on the 30th.

In his latest interview with Radio Sputnik International, Srdja Trifkovic discusses President Donald Trump’s recent statement on CBS that the EU was formed to take advantage of the United States and that’s what it has been doing to this day. The first question was whether Trump’s assertion about the EU’s early days was accurate. [Audio]
ST: If you’re looking at the early days, [the European Union] started as the European Coal and Steel Community. Its primary purpose was to facilitate the movement of goods and services within the core of six original countries. This was done with the explicit blessing of the United States, of the Truman and Eisenhower administrations, back in the early 1950’s.
If we’re looking at the establishment of the European Union as it exists in its present form, specifically since the Lisbon Treaty was signed and when the current EU institutional framework was created, then there may be some truth to [President Trump’s statement]. In reality the EU has behaved over the past two decades like a trading block ready and willing to take advantage of the very open U.S. market, while inserting all sorts of subtle—or not so subtle—protectionist clauses into its own trading practices.
We need to bear in mind that very often European products have an in-built subsidy which is not directly visible. It is not like a subsidy that goes straight to the manufacturer or to the farmer! It goes via circuitous routes. Very often it’s hard to tell the percentage of built-in subsidies from Brussels which have found a way—for instance, through the French Ministry of Agriculture—but coming from European funds, and making French cheese more competitive than it otherwise would have been.

A child abuse gang which embarked on a “campaign of rape and other sexual abuse” against vulnerable teenage girls has been jailed, it can now be reported after censorship measures were lifted.
Leeds Crown Court heard grim details about how the predators, from Huddersfield, plied their victims with drink and drugs and threatened to, and sometimes did, abandon them on the moors if they did not comply with demands.
One victim gave birth to a child after being raped, another had an abortion, and one tried to kill herself following the abuse, The Times reports.

Police said the number of gangs shipping heroin and crack cocaine from cities to provincial towns had doubled to 1,500 in under a year.

Caroline Glick: Bret Stephens and Bari Weiss — Lara Alqasem’s Enablers
For the past two weeks, Israel-bashers have had a brand-new poster child. Her name is Lara Alqasem.
Alqasem is an American citizen registered in a masters degree program at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. She is also a key operative in the so-called BDS or “boycott, divestment and sanctions” campaign against Israel.
Alqasem flew to Israel two weeks ago. Upon landing at Ben Gurion Airport, in accordance with Israeli law, which bars BDS activists from entering Israel, Alqasem was denied entry and immigration officials attempted to deport her.
Rather than agree to go home, Alqasem called in a battery of attorneys to appeal the decision in court. The move went from one judicial body to another, gathering the force of a massive media storm from day to day until it landed on the laps of three justices in Israel’s radical Supreme Court.
The three justices, who care more about looking good to the Left — and the New York Times — than the law, predictably ignored the law and let her in.
How did an expulsion order against a 22-year-old graduate student cause such a maelstrom? How did it come about that Alqasem was immediately defended by a battery of lawyers? Why did Israel’s leftist media outlets and the world media immediately embrace her as a heroine, and so ensure that Israel’s radical justices would pounce at the opportunity to prove their leftist credentials and let her into the country?
To understand how Lara Alqasem became an instant celebrity for Israel-haters and an attractive victim worth saving for Israeli leftists, we need to understand a few basic truths.
The Israeli government, Alqasem’s many powerful supporters, and Israel’s radical Supreme Court justices agree that Alqasem headed the BDS movement against Israel on her campus.
Until she graduated last spring, Alqasem served as the head of University of Florida’s chapter of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP). The Israeli government and Alqasem’s lawyers and supporters (including Israel’s radical justices), differ on what that means.
The BDS movement calls for isolating the world’s largest Jewish community. It does so for two reasons. First, it seeks to build political support in the U.S. and throughout the West for the claim that Jews have no right to self-determination, and that Israel has no right to exist. And second, the BDS movement aims to turn Jews who support Israel’s existence, (that is, approximately 90 percent of world Jewry) into evil Untouchables.
The agenda and goal of the BDS movement are of course inherently bigoted against Jews. Indeed, the BDS campaign is the most active, and the most powerful, antisemitic campaign in the Western world.
So how do BDS operatives prevent their cause from being treated as an intrinsically racist enterprise?…

Are Turkey’s Spies Operating in America?
According to Turkish media reports, the Turkish government’s Directorate of Religious Affairs (Diyanet) gathered intelligence via its imams and other employees in 38 countries on the activities of Turks suspected of supporting the US-based Turkish Islamic cleric Fethullah Gülen, whom Turkey’s government accuses of organizing a failed coup attempt in July 2016. Diyanet reportedlyrequested from its branches abroad to submit their findings in time for the 9th Eurasia Islamic Council, which took place in October 2016. These findings were then reportedly submitted to the “Coup Commission” of the Turkish parliament (TBMM).

Dr Seyyed Ali Abdolzadeh Farshchi failed to pay the Iranian refugee for three months because he was “in training” but eventually paid him $10 an hour, irregularly, and he didn’t receive the full amount, according to a police summary provided to VCAT.
The victim, named X, worked 14 hours a day without breaks and alleges he sometimes he worked 21-hour days.
He alleges the Iranian trained doctor gave him opioids to “get his power again” despite being tired and in pain from long working hours.
However when on one occasion he had a seizure and collapsed, his workmates were told by Dr Farshchi not to call an ambulance but instead bring him to his office.
The doctor didn’t see him, and when X later asked: “Didn’t you think I might die?”, he responded “he would put X’s body in the septic tank and dissolve it with acid”, the summary alleges…

Orban: EU’s Latest Migration Proposals ‘Like a Collection of Horror Stories’
Hungarian leader Viktor Orban has described the EU’s latest migration proposals as “like a collection of horror stories”.
In a post on the Hungarian government’s official About Hungary website, Orban spokesman Zoltan Kovacs describes a looming battle of “globalists versus defenders of the nation”, with an EU establishment facing serious electoral reverses in the European Parliament elections in 2019 in the former camp and Prime Minister Orban very firmly in the latter.
“On the one hand, the pro-migration forces continue their relentless drive to push for more immigration and denigrate anyone who dares to oppose them. On the other hand, we see the battle lines being drawn in the conflict between globalists and nationalists and, in particular, a clear picture of who stands where,” Kovacs said.
Orban himself told Kossuth Radió’s Good Morning Hungary programme that he believes the EU is pushing its migration policies “at full steam” because it fears that “after the [European Parliament] elections, there might be an anti-migration majority on the continent”.
His primary concern with the “horror story” proposals is the way they are framed as border management measures rather than border protection measures — “The phrase border protection means that there is a border that we should protect, while the word border management means that there is a border, and we have to find a way through it,” he explained.
According to Kovacs, the measures “the liberal EU elite” are proposing include a “permanent pro-migration programme, opening up new avenues for legal immigration, experimental migration deals with African countries and a so-called ‘humanitarian visa’.”
One of the EU’s proposed measures for bringing the migrant crisis under control which Hungary is particularly wary of is a plan to significantly expand the EU Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex) and increase its powers, ostensibly so it can help relieve the pressure on countries at the bloc’s common external border.
Orban believes that the EU intends to take control of border control not to help with burden-sharing, but to prevent anti-mass migration like Hungary — which slashed illegal migration by over 99 percent after rapidly constructing a double-lined border barrier manned by a newly expanded border guard — from enforcing strict controls.
“They want to take away from us the keys to the gate… [T]hey were unable to persuade Hungary to let migrants in, [so] the plan now is that they will take border protection rights away from us,” he told Hungarian radio.
“They want no less than to send their mercenaries from Brussels to replace our Hungarians who are defending the border… Let us not be under any illusion… they will allow in migrants,” he warned.

People-smugglers are transporting “desperate” illegal migrants to the European Union via Turkey in limousines and luxury cars at up to 3,000 euros a time.
