Hungary: GKI Institute Raises GDP Growth Forecast

4,2% in 2018 up from previous estimate of 4%

(ANSA) — BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 5 — The Hungarian Economic research institute GKI has raised its forecast for the growth of the GDP in the country from the previous 4% to 4.2% in 2018, local media reported.

According to the media in Budapest, the GKI predictions is slightly lower than the government one, which forecasts a GDP growth of 4.3% this year.

The GKI institute expects the “economic growth to slow to about 3% next year as the increase in investments and household consumption decelerates,” the Budapest Business Journal reported.

“This is a Coup, Okay”: Bannon Weighs in on Anonymous Anti-Trump Op-Ed

ANTIFA Extremist Groups Are Trying to Recruit School Children

Far-left extremist groups like antifa are all over Twitter and Facebook. And even though they blatantly violate their Terms of Service, these far-left groups appear to get a pass. One antifa account in particular, Antifa International, is now using their Twitter account to to try and recruit and radicalize school children. Considering that many antifa extremist were radicalized by their Marxist professors, this strategy of targeting young impressionable children seems like a logical next step.

Caroline Glick: The Immoral Foreign Policy of the “Resistance”

One of the constant themes of the “Resistance” — most recently restated in the New York Times’ anonymous op-ed Wednesday — is that President Donald Trump is “amoral” because he is interested in cultivating good relations with dictators.

In the words of the anonymous op-ed author: “In public and in private, President Trump shows a preference for autocrats and dictators, such as President Vladimir Putin of Russia and North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong-un, and displays little genuine appreciation for the ties that bind us to allied, like-minded nations.”

Notably, this is the same line used by the Israeli left and by Israel’s many critics in the West against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s foreign policy.

There are two aspects of this criticism that are worth pointing out.

First, the criticisms are utterly hypocritical.

The same “Resistance” howling about Trump’s desire to forge a détente with Russia based on a shared interest in fighting Islamic terrorists and preventing Iran from becoming the nuclear hegemon of the Middle East once bent over backwards to empower Iran. They gave the ayatollahs a clear path to a nuclear weapon, as well as $150 billion to finance their wars in Syria and Yemen, and their global terror attacks.

The same Never Trump Republicans attacking Trump for his efforts to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula without war happily supported then-Secretary of State Condoleezza Riceas she cut a deal that only empowered Pyonyang.

The Obama administration alumni who now insist that Putin is America’s number-one enemy did everything they could to appease him — in exchange for nothing — for years.

As for Israel, the Israeli Left, and its American and European supporters, they have been attacking Netanyahu relentlessly for fostering close ties with the leaders of Hungary, Lithuania, Poland, Rwanda, Kenya, and the Philippines. At the same time, they insist that Israel must cough up its capital city and its heartland to the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and its terrorist regime…

Drain the Swamp: EPA Shed 1,200 Jobs in Trump’s First Year and a Half

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) shed approximately 1,200 jobs as roughly 1,600 employees departed and fewer than 400 new employees were hired during President Donald Trump’s first year and a half in office.

Departing employees included “at least 260 scientists, 185 ‘environmental protection specialists’ and 106 engineers,” according to the Washington Post.

The EPA’s workforce is now down 8 percent to a size it has not been since former president Ronald Reagan was in office, reported the WaPo.

“With nearly half of our employees eligible to retire in the next five years, my priority is recruiting and maintaining the right staff, the right people for our mission, rather than total full-time employees,” EPA Acting Administrator Andrew Wheeler said in a statement according to the WaPo.

Nearly 25 percent of the EPA’s 13,758 employees are eligible for retirement, reported the WaPo. Many employees have accepted buyouts, especially in 2017.

At its most bloated, the EPA had more than 18,000 employees, reported the WaPo.

Some longtime EPA employees are leaving after working under both Republican and Democratic administrations…

How 57,000 Socialists and Communists Plan to Take Over the Democratic Party

By Trevor Loudon

In a move that could have major implications for American politics, the leading socialist and communist organizations in the United States have formally allied to increase their infiltration and manipulation of the Democratic Party.

Communist Party USA (CPUSA) leader John Bachtell partially explained the new strategy in the pitch for party members to attend an online webinar that was held on May 23, 2018. According to Bachtell, the webinar would feature a panel of representatives from the CPUSA, Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), Freedom Road Socialists Organization (FRSO), LeftRoots, and others. …

Broadly speaking, there are two lefts in America. One side is the anti-Democratic Party left —which consists of the Revolutionary Communist Party, Socialist Alternative, Socialist Party USA, Party for Socialism and Liberation, Party of Communists USA, and so on. On the other side are the groups willing to work inside the Democratic Party — that is, those organizations signing on to the strategy outlined above.

These organizations are not to be underestimated. Separately, all these groups are dangerous. Together, they spell potential disaster.

How Louisiana Stood Up to the Anti-Gun Corporate Elite

The state of Louisiana recently held some members of the corporate social police accountable for discriminating against law-abiding Americans.

By a vote of 7-6, the State Bond Commission excluded Citigroup and Bank of America from the running for a lucrative state contract. Our reason for doing so: these corporations had introduced bank policies that restrict legal access to firearms and bank misrepresentations on those policies.

While our governor and his allies sided with these anti-gun corporations, conservatives stood together to protect the Second Amendment rights of Louisiana citizens.

Obama Re-Emerges to Remind Voters Why They Elected Trump

Just in time to remind America why voters elected Donald Trump president two years ago, ex-President Barack Obama emerged from political exile last week.

Pompous, insufferable, self-enthralled, cliched and uninspiring, he picked up right where he left off.

Reliving his eight-year campaign that cost over a thousand Democrat politicians their seats, Mr. Obama put on his psychiatrist cap and declared our current politics mentally unwell.

This November, he lectured, is “a chance to restore some sanity in our politics.”

And his history professor cap. The “arc of American history” blah blah blah blah. The whole class was fast asleep before he got to his point. Including President Trump.

He even donned his old commander-in-chief cap and tried some military talk.

“We’re going to put on our marching shoes,” Mr. Obama said. The crowd just stared up and blinked in confusion.

He said he had to break his silence in order to complain about Mr. Trump because things had become so “dire.”

He called Mr. Trump a “demagogue” and a “threat to our democracy.” Which is why, perhaps, Mr. Obama’s administration deployed America’s entire espionage apparatus to spy against the Trump campaign at the height of the 2016 election.

“If we don’t step up, things can get worse,” Mr. Obama said.

So, he was stepping up.

Either that or Mr. Obama had heard a Red Heifer had been born at the Temple of Israel last week and assumed that was his signal to return. Time for the Second Coming of Obama.

Actually, his return to the political stage sounded more like somebody had fed a really terrible high-school term paper into Mr. Obama’s trusty old telepromters.

Also, he was sick and tired of hearing all these economists and financial experts talking about how great the Trump economy is doing. So he delivered a speech and declared that Mr. Trump’s excellent economy was actually a result of Mr. Obama’s eight-year assault on industry, small businesses, corporations, taxpayers and health care.

Mr. Obama’s re-emergence comes after a truly remarkable week — in addition to the birth of a Red Heifer in Israel.

Legendary swamp man Bob Woodward — jealous over the star treatment Omarosa Manigault Newman got over her kiss-and-tell book — responded with a kiss-and-tell book of his own. Only, Mr. Woodward failed to get the access inside the White House that she achieved.

In time, perhaps, Mr. Woodward might develop Ms. Manigault Newman’s level of reporting chops.

Anyway, the books were remarkably similar in their obsession with palace intrigue — and nothing else.

Mr. Obama’s return to the swamp also follows an anonymous opinion article in the New York Times confirming the existence of a “Deep State” aimed at thwarting the will of American voters from inside the White House.

Meanwhile, Mr. Trump remains focused on stoking the economy, expanding opportunity for all Americans, slashing government red tape, maximizing freedom for ordinary Americans and putting law-abiding constitutionalists onto the federal courts.

Good luck, Mr. Obama. Looks like somebody jumped the Red Heifer.

Pope Should Not Resign, But Church Abuse Tribunal Needed: Bannon

ROME (Reuters) — Pope Francis should not resign over allegations he mishandled a sexual abuse scandal, said Steve Bannon, President Donald Trump’s former political strategist who is close to prominent Catholic conservatives.

However, Bannon told Reuters he was working on setting up an independent, non-partisan tribunal to investigate decades of scandals within the U.S. Church, warning that dioceses across the country faced financial ruin because of the wrongdoing.

Sexually Abusing Children in the Church Isn’t Just Devastating, It’s Demonic, Says Exorcist

The crimes of sexually predatory priests may be sickening, but according to a renowned exorcist, their abuses and tactics may also literally be demonically inspired.

Father Gary Thomas, exorcist for the diocese of San Jose, California and subject of Matt Baglio’s “The Rite: The Making of a Modern Exorcis,” said the intimidation tactics that predatory clergy used to silence their victims are methods inspired by Satan himself. Spiritual warfare between God and the devil is real, according to Thomas, and in this particular battle, the devil is in the details.

Twitter Suspends Benghazi Hero After Criticism of President Obama

US, Others Ask Companies to Build Backdoors Into Encryption

The US, UK, and three other governments have called on tech companies to build backdoors into their encrypted products, so that law enforcement will always be able to obtain access. If companies don’t, the governments say they “may pursue technological, enforcement, legislative, or other measures” in order to get into locked devices and services.

Their statement came out of a meeting last week between nations in the Five Eyes pact, an intelligence sharing agreement between the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. The nations issued a statement covering a range of technology-related issues they face, but it was their remarks on encryption that stood out the most.

“They want voluntary action… but threaten to mandate it”

Boris: May’s Brexit Plan ‘Wraps a Suicide Vest Around Our Constitution and Hands the Detonator to Brussels’

Ex-Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has launched his most scathing attack on Theresa May, her Remainer-dominated government, and its Brexit strategy to date, saying she has “wrapped a suicide vest around the British constitution and handed the detonator to Michel Barnier.”

The former two-time Mayor of London, who was ad hoc leader of the Vote Leave group during the EU referendum, slated the Government’s “utterly feeble” performance in the Brexit negotiations so far, describing the Remain-supporting Prime Minister’s approach as “Yes sir, no sir, three bags full sir” in a Mail on Sunday column.

“[U]nder the Chequers proposal, we are set to agree to accept their rules — forever — with no say on the making of those rules,” he complained.

Johnson, who resigned from May’s Cabinet shortly after Brexit Secretary David Davis when when the Chequers blueprint was imposed, hinted not for the first time that Remainers had deliberately sabotaged the negotiations, in order to ensure Britain remains embedded in the EU’s Customs Union, Single Market, and associated Free Movement regime.

He explained that the issue of Northern Ireland and the supposedly all-important requirement to maintain an open border with the Irish Republic was being exploited by Brussels and British Remainers, who claim this can only be achieved by either surrendering the Northern Ireland to the Customs Union and Single Market or keeping the whole UK inside them.

Chequers proposes a solution Johnson believes is “if anything even more pathetic” — namely adopting a facsimile of the EU’s regulatory rulebook and having the British courts enforce the EU’s interpretation of that rulebook on its behalf, and calling that “taking back control”.

Sunday’s Vote Could Snap Swedes Out of Their Stockholm Syndrome

Swedes are set to vote Sunday, and soon the world may view another example of citizens frustrated by arrogant politicians and bureaucrats upending the status quo and changing the landscape of a rich country whose leaders manifestly have failed the working class. For in truth, Sweden is burning, physically and figuratively. This reality is known better outside that country, because pro-globalist elites in Sweden work so hard to obscure brutal crimes and dislocations that occur as too many unvetted immigrants sweep into their generous nation.

But it is not simply burning cars, and savage assaults that capture the concern of Swedish citizens and international observers. An expensive, thirty year experiment in Sweden promoting global governance and attacking world problems has certainly helped Swedish elites, but many voters see more financial harm than benefit for themselves.

So, in mere days, the Swedish electorate will speak, and rumblings emanating various ways suggest that parties and politicians long in control of the government will suffer erosion in their influence. How much power will a right-leaning party — Sweden Democrats — win at the ballot box, and what roles might candidates in this party play either supporting or obstructing the coalition government destined to emerge after September 9, 2018?

Sweden Set for Gridlock After Inconclusive Election; PM Lovfen Says He’ll Remain in Power

Update 2: Sweden prepares for political gridlock after an inconclusive election resulting in what may be month of uncertainty about the fate of the current government, even as Prime Minister Stefan Lofven said in a defiant speech he’ll remain at least until parliament opens in two weeks, rejecting calls for his resignation.

His Social Democrats will remain the biggest party, with their Red-Green coalition controlling 144 seats of 349, which however is a sharp drop from the 159 they received in the 2014 election; The Opposition alliance has 142.

Earlier, Swedish center-right opposition leader Ulf Kristersson called on Lofven to step down on Sunday after preliminary election results showed his opposition Alliance coalition in a virtual dead heat with its center-left rivals. “This government has run its course,” Kristersson told a party rally, referring to Lofven’s minority cabinet. “Now it should resign.”

Meanwhile, the far-right Sweden Democrats improved to 63 from 49 four years ago, but fell short of expectations based on pre-election polling.

Kenyans Wary of China’s One Belt, One Road Investments

[…]

Corruption is one of the concerns voiced in a report presented at a U.S. congressional subcommittee hearing on Africa and global human rights held on March 7.

The report indicates that some contracts signed between China and top officials in the Kenyan government are shady, greased with bribes and other antecedents, such as all-expenses-paid shopping trips to China and scholarships given to Kenyan elite.

“China plays a big part in corrupting leaders to gain business advantages through corruption within Africa, especially in Kenya,” the paper stated. …

“The Chinese will readily offer you infrastructure loans, but you will only start feeling the pinch when the time for servicing the debt comes calling—and you realize that your economy is not raising enough dollars to repay it,” wrote Kisero. He added that Kenya must pay back about $258 million in debt to China in 2018, and about $814 million next year, citing data from Kenya’s National Treasury.

Kisero concluded, “Kenya must not be left to suffer the indignity of the Sri Lankans.” …

“China is a calculating financier. Most of its loans are collateralized against strategic assets like minerals or seaports,” Wamanji wrote. In Congo, for example, China has seized mining rights to copper and cobalt deposits—key materials for developing China’s new vehicles industry—after years of investment in the central African nation.

“When states default on the loans, this affords China the liberty to seize assets, and even territory, in lieu of the repayments,” Wamanji added.

Two percent of young British adults identify with the Church of England, and seven in ten people under the age of 24 say they have no religion, research has revealed.

The statistics appear to predict an impending catastrophe for the established church, with affiliation already plunging to a record low among all age groups and halving since 2002.

Nike Goes Long on Kaepernick and America’s Self-Hatred

Nike, the world’s leading athletic footwear and apparel brand, recently made Colin Kaepernick the face most identifiable with the company after it released an ad with his picture, captioned: “Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything.” Kaepernick utters those very words in Nike’s new commercial, which depicts him staring reverently at the American flag.

The ad campaign seeks to present Kaepernick as a patriot who loves America, in spite of his having become a victim of its intolerance.

Anyone paying the slightest bit of attention, however, knows that nothing could be further from the truth…

[…]

And what did Kaepernick “believe” so fervently that he “sacrificed” all of that mediocrity to promote it?

He proudly refused “to stand up and show pride” in the American flag, because America is nothing more, in his mind, than “a country that oppresses black people and people of color.” He believes that police officers are pigs (if we are to believe his socks represent his beliefs) who stalk the streets at night looking to maim and murder black people for no reason at all. He praised mass-murderer and Communist Fidel Castro who made slaves of the Cuban people, while he enjoys the free speech rights allowing him to become millions of dollars richer via Nike endorsements.

Perhaps the best indication of his deeper beliefs occurred back in November of 2016, when he invoked radical Black Panther ideology, hosting a “Black Panther-inspired youth camp” in which campers wore a T-shirt with “10 rights listed on the back that organizers said every child of color should know.” These “10 rights” were “inspired by the popular Ten-Point Program created by the Black Panther Party,” which, at that time, had just “celebrated its 50th anniversary.”

The Washington Times reports this all very nonchalantly. But what some of us know, though the general public may not, is that the Ten-Point Program he pressed upon those children was a racist call for revolutionary socialism and violence against White Americans. Among these Ten Points is a suggestion that “the federal government has the obligation to give every man employment or guaranteed income.” If the “White American businessman will not give full employment, then the means of production must be taken from the businessman and placed in the community.”

These points also include the demand that black men are to be exempt from military service so as not to “be forced to fight in the military service to defend a racist government” and a demand that “all Black people should be released from the many jails and prisons” because they have all, ostensibly, been wrongfully been imprisoned due to the color of their skin.

The Unbearable Whiteness of Being

There can be little doubt that the modern university, in its obsession with race, gender, and sexual orientation under the rubric of “social justice,” has violated its core mandate, which, in the words of Matthew Arnold from Culture and Anarchy, is to familiarize readers and students with “the best that has been thought and said.” The Academy has turned Arnold’s maxim on its head, instructing students in the worst that has been thought and said — and done. The curricular fetish of “social justice,” which is destroying the university as an institution of higher learning, continues to metastasize.

Indeed, the university as a social and cultural institution is a slow-motion train wreck picking up speed: equity hiring, affirmative action, anti-conservative and overt leftist politics, the “diversity and inclusion” myth on which the academy prides itself, groupthink, speech codes, snitch lines, trigger warnings, safe spaces, microaggressions, the attack on academic freedom — the list goes on.

The bogus issue that has recently acquired major prominence in the quagmire of campus politics is “whiteness,” especially the “hegemony” of straight white males and their champions, guilty, apparently, of every conceivable ill that has bedeviled the world since the first silverback descended from the trees. This is merely a prime manifestation of the reigning hysteria on college campuses, in particular its mephitic obsession with race. “The toxic racial climate of colleges looks to be perpetual,” warns Scott Greer in No Campus for White Men; anti-white ferocity “remains established as an unchallenged dogma.”

UK: Attack on Marriage: ‘Conservative’ Govt to Introduce ‘No-Fault’ Quickie Divorce

Divorce laws in Britain are set to see a “revolution” under the ‘Conservative’ government, as ministers say they are ready to bring in fast “no-fault” break-ups and make it easier to dissolve a marriage unilaterally.

Justice Secretary David Gauke is reportedly expected to launch a consultation on ditching the requirement that a person must either present evidence of adultery, desertion, or unreasonable behaviour from their spouse in order to end their marriage, or else undertake a period of separation before a divorce goes through — two years if both spouses consent, five if one objects.

  1. Contrast the treatment that Franklin Graham receives from this generation of Brits with that which his father received during the great London Crusade of the 50s.
In The Crown, the drama accurately portrayed the interest of Queen Elizabeth II in Graham’s message of faith and forgiveness, and his personal visit with her.
I guess the Queen dare not intervene as it would be seen as political interference.
Sad, because Great Britain urgently needs the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus.

  2. So anything that speaks against Islam is hate speech, tsk, tsk. How about speech against Christianity? Judaism? Or even Buddhism?

  3. Infectious disease carrying aircraft brought to you by the same folks whose boats brought infectious diseases to Europe, black plague et al. I suppose that they resorted to biological warfare after they were defeated on the battlefield. TIC of course.

  4. Strange how the MCB migrants to UK, known for their own brand of infectious hate speech think it has any “power” to ban anyone who disagree with their ideology.
