Markets Reassured by Conte and Tria — IMF

New visit in coming months for Article IV consultation

(ANSA) — New York, September 6 — IMF spokesperson Gerry Rice said Thursday that Italian Premier Giuseppe Conte and Economy Minister Giovanni Tria had reassured the financial markets about the government’s management of the public finances.

“The financial markets are worried (about a change of course on reforms), but there have been reassuring words from premier Giuseppe Conte and Economy Minister Tria,” Rice said when asked if the IMF was worried after Fitch changed its outlook for Italy to negative.

He said IMF staff would be in Italy again in the coming months to conclude the Article IV consultation after a visit in July.

More Evidence of Robust U.S. Economy

Two more reports taking the temperature of the U.S. economy were released on Thursday, providing more evidence that it continues to expand, setting records along the way. First from the Department of Labor (DOL) came the report that new claims for unemployment insurance — considered a precursor for future layoffs — dropped in August “to the lowest level for initial claims since December 6, 1969.” That’s the lowest level in nearly 50 years!

Spain’s New Socialist Government Has Reversed a Positive Economy in Just Three Months

In Europe, whilst even ultra-liberal Sweden are veering towards the right and parties are successfully running on anti-immigration platforms, whilst Hungary, Poland and Czech have loudly vowed to deter illegal immigration, and whilst the new populist government in Italy is not only turning boats back, but now actively seeking deportations, Spain has — as it is wont to do — careened off in the exact opposite direction.

3 Killed: Suspect Dead After Shooting in Cincinnati’s Fountain Square, Police Chief Says

(CNN) At least three people were killed in a shooting Thursday at the Fifth Third Center in Cincinnati’s Fountain Square, and two others were injured, Cincinnati police Chief Eliot Isaac said.

The suspect was shot multiple times as four police officers approached. He died at the scene, Isaac said.

The chief later identified the shooter as Omar Enrique Santa Perez, a 29-year-old man from the town of North Bend, Ohio. The gunman had a pistol and more than 200 rounds of ammunition, the chief said.

Investigators searched the gunman’s residence but there was no immediate indicator of motive.

He wasn’t a current or former employee at the center, whose primary tenant is the Fifth Third Bank headquarters, officials said…

NYT op-ed, Kavanaugh hearings, Woodward book signs of desperate lunacy

If you’ve been living your life rather than following the latest circus in Washington, you may have missed the fact that the Swamp’s chief scribe has a new book coming out.

Or maybe you’re unaware that some anonymous, arrogant Trump administration staffer who no one voted for has written in The New York Times about how he or she feels entitled to overrule a president elected by the American people according to the Constitution.

It turns out Bob Woodward doesn’t have a flattering view of President Trump. It also turns out that there really is a deep state conspiracy to thwart President Trump’s agenda, organized by his own administration’s appointees. Stop the presses! I think we knew that already.

Man Caught Paying Off Kavanaugh Protesters Works for Soros-Funded Organization

Bombshell proof of foreign meddling in American politics

The man who was caught on camera paying off protesters who disrupted the Judge Brett Kavanaugh hearings has been identified as working for a Soros-funded organization.

As we reported yesterday, three doctors said they personally witnessed protesters being paid off before the Kavanaugh confirmation hearing.

“One thing was there were people who had come along… who had a bag of money, and people would hand them a piece of paper, and then they would give them money. So we know money was exchanged for some of the people to be here, just to protest,” said Dr. Tom Schlueter.

One of the women caught on camera being paid off was later seen being ejected from the hearings after demonstrators caused a disruption.

It has now emerged that the man seen paying off the woman works for a left-wing activist organization funded by billionaire globalist George Soros.

Krishnan’s bio lists him as a “social justice attorney”. The Center for Popular Democracy “receives the bulk of its funding from George Soros” and back in May last year announced that they were setting up an “$80 million anti-Trump network that will span 32 states and have 48 local partners.”

Nike Favorability Crashes 34% With Kaepernick Ad Campaign

A poll from Morning Consult shows devastating results for Nike’s brand favorability, in the days after making Colin Kaepernick the face of their new ad campaign.

According to the poll via Axios, Nike’s numbers “dropped 34 points from a net +69 favorable impression (76% favorable, 7% unfavorable) among consumers to a net +35 favorable impression (60% favorable, 24% unfavorable).”

These numbers are nothing short of devastating for Nike, and with no other news worthy of note, there’s no explanation for the sudden decline other than the company’s commitment to Kaepernick.

Nike Becomes Face of Social Justice Despite History of Outsourcing, Employing Slave Labor

Nike has become the face of the social justice wing of the political left

Despite having a long, documented history of allegedly employing workers at slave wages, the multinational Nike corporation has become the face of the social justice wing of the political left with its newest ad featuring former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

As Breitbart News reported, the Nike corporation laid off 1,400 Americans just last year in the state of Oregon, cutting out workers who were older and likely sending their jobs overseas as the sports brand has done in the past.

In 2015, a screen printing factory in Clarence, New York used by Nike to make T-shirts that once employed nearly 170 Americans announced it was closing up shop and sending the jobs to low wage Honduras. The average minimum wage worker in Honduras earns less than $8,000 a year.

Nike’s history of alleged employment of slave labor in countries like Vietnam, China, Indonesia, and Honduras dates back so far that Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) blasted the corporation’s business practices in 1997, as Breitbart News noted:

[Comment: Kapernick is the last straw for many. Let Nike sell their stuff where they make it. Stop and think what the markup is on their stuff.]

Rep. Markwayne Mullin Reads Sarah Jeong’s Bigoted Tweets to Jack Dorsey

Republican Rep. Markwayne Mullin (R-OK) made Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey squirm as he read out tweets from notorious racist, verified Twitter “blue checkmark,” and New York Times hire Sarah Jeong, which have yet to be deleted or otherwise acted upon by Twitter.

Speaking to Dorsey at a session of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Rep. Mullin brought up the double standard evident in the case of Jeong, who repeatedly published tweets about white people that would have been banned under Twitter’s hate speech rules had they been said about any other race.

Rep. Mullin noted that when conservative activist Candace Owens swapped out “white” for another group, she received a temporary suspension from Twitter, despite the fact that her tweets were intended to highlight the racism in Jeong’s.

Sporting Goods Store Boycotts Nike Products Over Kaepernick Ad Campaign

A sporting goods store in Colorado has vowed to stop selling Nike products, after the sportswear giant chose Colin Kaepernick as the face of its “Just Do It” ad campaign.

Steve Martin, the owner of Prime Time Sports in Colorado Springs, Colorado, said he is just going to “do it” even if it hurts his business.

“Pretty sure I won’t survive without them,” Martin told CNN. “I gotta do what I gotta do. I’m just doing it.”

Martin is so adamant over his disagreement with Nike’s un-American message that he is not only taking every Nike item out of his store, he is dumping any Nike products he has in his home.

The shop owner says that his father-in-law was a POW and the stories he heard inspired his decision to cancel his merchandise contracts with Nike.

“He said the hardest part for me was watching his fellow soldiers get beat up and killed in front of him and he couldn’t defend them because it would have cost him his life,” Martin concluded. “So Colin, you don’t know what sacrifice is, you just don’t know what it is, in my opinion.”

Martin has put all his current Nike items on deep discount to get rid of the stock he has on hand, but he won’t be replacing that stock with any new Nike products.

EU Enters “Final Stage” of Crafting Bill Forcing Big Tech Censorship

An online “code of conduct” aimed at fighting racism and xenophobia across Europe

The European Union is in the final stages of crafting legislation that will force big tech and internet companies to censor “extremist” content and cooperate with law enforcement, Reuters reports.

The bill is expected to be released by the end of the month and will absolutely require companies such as Google, Facebook, and Twitter to swiftly remove any content considered terroristic from their platforms.

In March, the European Commission told such companies that they had three months to show they were removing “extremist” content more rapidly or face legislation forcing them to do so.

EU recommendations were sent out at the time regarding the speedy removal of all content including terrorist content, incitement to hatred and violence, child sexual abuse material, counterfeit products, and copyright infringement.

The threat eventually led to the creation of an online “code of conduct” aimed at fighting racism and xenophobia across Europe, an effort both the EU and big tech collaborated on…

The nature of enforcing censorship based on a narrow and subjective term such as “hate speech” is likely to keep suspicions high that these types of decision aren’t about creating a safer world, but rather a world in which superstates like the EU control the content people see online for political purposes.

Italy: Prysmian Gets 220 Mn for France Wind Farm Links

3 turn-key projects for submarine cable systems

(ANSA) — Milan, September 4 — Prysmian Group, world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry, have secured three important projects to provide new cable connections for offshore wind farms in France.

Eolien Maritime France (a joint venture between the French company EDF Energies Nouvelles and the Canadian company Enbridge) awards Prysmian with the design, supply and installation of inter array cables for the two offshore wind farms, Fécamp and Courseulles-sur-Mer owned by EMF and wpd offshore, located off the North France coast.

The contracts worth over €200 million are expected to proceed in early autumn for these two prestigious wind farms.

A third project, for the Saint Nazaire wind farm also owned by Eolien Maritime France, with a value for Prysmian in excess of €20 million, is in the process of being secured in a consortium between Prysmian and Louis Dreyfus Travocean.

In the words of Hakan Ozmen, EVP Projects BU, Prysmian Group: “These new important awards confirm that we have all the capabilities to achieve our ambitious growth targets in the offshore wind farm market. Our investments have strengthened both our production capacity and installation capabilities and the market is showing its confidence in us.” Within these projects, Prysmian will provide 33 kV three-core submarine cable systems with XLPE insulation with a total for the three wind farms of around 345 km of cables.

The Fécamp project will involve connecting 83 WTGs with a total capacity of 498 MW, while Courseulles-sur-Mer will connect 75 WTGs with a total capacity of 450 MW. Cable, accessories and terminating services shall be provided by Prysmian for the 80 WTGs for the 480 MW capacity of Saint Nazaire.

These projects will lead to the construction of France’s first large-scale offshore wind farms. Prysmian will rely on the strategic and immediately available facilities of General Cable’s subsidiary NSW. Cable cores will be manufactured at the Group’s centre of excellence in Montereau-fault-yonne, France, and then assembled and finished in Nordenham, Germany, providing the French market with Prysmian’s state-of-the-art cable systems manufactured locally.

On Fécamp and Courseulles-sur-Mer, Prysmian will be the turn-key solution provider and shall both supply and install all inter-array cables between the WTGs, making available strategic installation assets and high value-added competence and know-how, whilst ensuring a tighter control over the entire supply chain. Delivery and commissioning of the cables are expected during the period 2020-2022, depending on the individual project timelines.

“These awards represent an important milestone for Prysmian as they are related to the first major projects in this market and they show that our ambition of becoming a one-stop service provider covering the entire supply chain is credible and sustainable,” added Alessandro Panico, Sales Team Manager — Offshore Wind, Prysmian Group.

These projects come at a very important time for the Group, which has secured offshore wind projects for over €650M in 2017-2018.

Eolien Maritime France and wpd offshore are waiting for the decision of the French Council of State about the appeal against the projects authorizations to start construction.

The Prysmian Group is world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry. With almost 140 years of experience, sales exceeding €11 billion (pro-forma as of 31.12.2017), about 30,000 employees in over 50 countries and 112 plants, the Group is strongly positioned in high-tech markets and offers the widest possible range of products, services, technologies and know-how.

It operates in the businesses of underground and submarine cables and systems for power transmission and distribution, of special cables for applications in many different industries and of medium and low voltage cables for the construction and infrastructure sectors. For the telecommunications industry, the Group manufactures cables and accessories for voice, video and data.

Italy: Court Okays League Fund Seizure, Salvini Says Won’t Give Up

Move relates to case of 49-mn electoral-reimbursement fraud

(ANSA) — Genoa, September 6 — A Genoa court on Thursday upheld a petition from prosecutors to seize funds from Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini’s League party in relation to a case of electoral-reimbursement fraud.

Former League leader Umberto Bossi, former treasurer Francesco Belsito and three ex auditors have been convicted over the fraud.

They were found guilty of fraud against the State estimated at 49 million euros between 2008 and 2010 — before Salvini took the helm of the party in 2013 — for irregularities in electoral spending reimbursements.

Up to now around three million euros have been seized from the rightwing party and its treasury currently holds around five million euros. Salvini said that he was not worried after the ruling. “It’s a past affair,” Salvini told a news conference.

“I’m tranquil. The lawyers will make their decisions.

“If they want to take everything from us, they can go ahead.

“The Italian people are with us”.

But later in the day he posted a tweet saying he was furious.

“I work for the security of the Italian people and they investigate me for KIDNAPPING (30 years in prison),” Salvini said referring to the probe over a recent standoff when the minister refused to let over 100 migrants rescued by the Coast Guard land in Italy. “I work to change Italy and Europe and they block all the (party’s) current accounts over alleged mistakes that took place 10 years ago. “If someone thinks that they can stop me or scare me they are mistaken. “I am not giving up and I’m working with even more determination. Smiling and furious”.

Premier Giuseppe Conte said “No” on when asked if he thought the ruling would affect the government. That line was echoed by Labour and Industry Minister and Deputy Premier Luigi Di Maio, the leader of the League’s government coalition partner, the 5-Star Movement (M5S). “As I have always said, the events the League is accused of date back to the time of (former leader Umberto) Bossi,” Di Maio said. “They regard the period before Salvini’s leadership of the League. “Will it affect the government? Not from our side”.

‘You Got a Licence for That Nerf Gun?’ — British Police Swoop on Child’s Birthday Party

Police swooped on Yaxham village in Norfolk, England, after reports of “gunshots and the sound of children screaming” — to find it a party of small children playing with Nerf guns.

Eight-year-old Oliver Green was celebrating his birthday with friends when officers arrived at the address and told his mother they had been called “following reports of machine guns going off in my garden”, according to MailOnline.

“I told them that there were some guns, but they are only Nerf guns… One officer said to the children ‘who is the birthday boy?’ and my son very cautiously stepped forward and said ‘I am the birthday boy officer, but I am not sure what I have done wrong’.”

Daughter of Couple Who Died on Thomas Cook Holiday in Egypt Says Vital Clues Were Lost When Cleaners Were Let in to Mop Floor and Change Sheets Soon After Their Deaths

The daughter of a British couple who died suddenly on holiday in Egypt believes that the cause of their deaths is being covered up.

In an interview with ITV News, Kelly Ormerod said vital clues may have been lost when cleaners and maintenance workers accessed the room soon after her parents died.

John and Susan Cooper, had been staying in the Red Sea resort of Hurghada when they died on August 21, but their deaths remain a mystery with autopsies set to be completed later this week.

Ms Ormerod has always been adamant that she believes something in the room killed her parents, despite Egyptian officials insisting their deaths were ‘normal for an old English man and his wife’ and the result of respiratory and heart failure.

Hungary: EU Report Attempt to ‘Punish’ US for Independent Migration Policy

“The parliamentary investigation on which lawmakers have been asked to base their decision — known as the Sargentini report — is misleading and riddled with factual errors”, Hungary’s state secretary for EU affairs, Judit Varga writes in an op-ed for Politico.

According to Varga, “the report is the product of liberal bias against contemporary European conservatism, national sovereignty, core Christian-democratic values, the political roots of Europe’s founding fathers and, quite simply, against objective dialogue based on facts.”

Italy’s Salvini Not Content With Stopping Migrant Boats, Sets Focus on Deportations

After greatly reducing the number of migrants illegally entering Italy, populist Italian Interior Minister Matteo Salvini claims not to be content and has now set his sights on increasing deportations.

Recently released statistics show that only 1,491 migrants were able to land in Italy in August of this year, down a massive 65 percent from last year’s figures. Despite the success in decreasing the flow of migrants, Interior Minister Salvini has declared he is not satisfied and will now tackle the issue of deporting more illegal migrants, Il Giornale reports.

Said in Spanish: Will Pablo Casado be Spain’s Matteo Salvini— or Donald Trump?

The Italian government, spearheaded by Interior Matteo Salvini, is protecting itself from the “refugee” flotillas crossing the Mediterranean, but the invaders are still besieging other places. Spain, for example. On July 18, Spain’s ABC reported the grim news: “Of all Europe, Spain has become the principal entrance point for immigration by sea” [España Ya Es La Puerta Principal De La Inmigración Que llega A La UE Por Mar, (Spain Is Already The Gateway For Immigration To The EU By Sea)]. But that may be about to change.

One famous example: A load of refugees landed on the beach, abandoned their boat, and sprinted inland on foot [Migrants Land On Spanish Beach, Flee As Tourists Look On, by Jon Nazca, Reuters, July 27, 2018]. If you’ve read Camp of the Saints, it sounds familiar. Life does, it seem, imitate art.

Are Feminists Aiding Muslim Domination?

It appears that the left-wing feminist movement has become the perpetrator of man-hatred, all in the name of protecting women. Yet overlooked by the advocates of the man-free festival is that it was a plethora of Muslim migrants who perpetrated the dreadful assaults and rapes. These migrants come from societies where this is considered an acceptable way to treat women. In fact, “no issue is taken with toxic Islamic masculinity. This thinly-veiled excuse-making may be considered an attempt at dispelling anti-Islamic bigotry. Yet, holding woefully low standards for men based on their background is an equally poor form of bigotry.”

The elephant in the room is being deliberately ignored. Accusations of bigotry must be avoided at all costs. It is easier to inflict collective blame than to deal with the actual guilty parties.

By scapegoating all men, ignored is the fact that Sweden is not providing the proper security to protect its women from sexual assaults. At the same time, the country is spending vast sums of money to support more migrants from the Muslim world. They bring their culture and religion to bear, and it is decidedly anti-female.

No one in authority dares question why there has been an increase in sexual assaults. No one dares wonder why the Islamic world does nothing to assist its own brethren while the West is expected to pick up the tab.

Reason and logic are vanquished as all men are targeted as sexual predators. Instead of connecting the increase of sexual assaults that has occurred since the mostly Muslim migrants were invited into the country, left-wing ideology takes hold, and innocent men are denigrated, sexes are separated, and biology is ignored.

Is the Queer Reckoning Upon Us?

Over the last ten years, the LGBT movement created a brotherhood out of its victims. I have gotten to know countless people who lost their jobs, families, public reputation, homes, or incomes because they chose to defend God’s design for sexuality rather than submit to the LGBT movement’s demands.

Our travails pale beside the martyrs in the Middle East and Africa who have lost their lives to stand up for Christ. We have nonetheless paid a painful price. The words of Revelation 6:10 felt, for many of us, like words out of our own hearts:

They cried out with a loud voice: “Lord, the One who is holy and true, how long until You judge and avenge our blood from those who love on the earth?” So a white robe was given to each of them, and they were told to rest a little while longer until the number would be completed of their fellow slaves and their brothers who were going to be killed just as they had been.

Each victim of the LGBT lobby has a unique story. In a current project, I have had extensive interviews with some. One, a doctor, faced the ultimate choice when gays in his hospital filed charges against him for warning patients about the dangers of anal sodomy. He lost all his medical appointments rather than betray the calling God gave him as a physician.

NBC’s ‘Law & Order’ Preps Hate Crimes Spin Off

LOS ANGELES (AP) — NBC’s “Law & Order” franchise is adding what the network calls a “relevant” new series about hate crimes.

[Comment: Law and Order and its spinoffs are garbage and have story lines that are one or more of the following: anti-male, anti-family, anti-husband, anti-white propaganda masquerading as entertainment. Now they are adding “xenophobia”. More garbage TV. When Jerry Orbach passed away, the show went downhill fast in terms of politically correct plot lines. The Left is Now Claiming That Comedy No Longer Needs to be Funny

Leftists are now asserting that comedy no longer needs to be funny so long as it tells a story or has “emotional impact”.

In an article for New York Magazine, Jesse David Fox writes, “Like Post-Rock, Post-Comedy uses the elements of comedy (be it stand-up, sitcom, or film) but without the goal of creating the traditional comedic result — laughter — instead focusing on tone, emotional impact, storytelling, and formal experimentation. The goal of being “funny” is optional for some or for the entirety of the piece.”

Some prominent Twitter users reacted with scorn.

  1. Police of Moscow will check the employee of the migration service, who unethically dealt with the migrant
Earlier in some media there was a message that during the reception of an HIV-positive citizen of Uzbekistan, who applied for asylum in Russia, the employee of the migration service called him “a spidnik” (disparaging nickname of the carrier of AIDS)

“Upon the fact of the published report in the media about the unethical behavior of the employee of the unit for migration of the MOI of Russia in Moscow during communication with the citizen during the reception, an inspection is scheduled to be carried out, all the circumstances of the incident will be examined, the results will be decided,” in the department.

  2. Recently on YouTube blocked a very good video in Russian about the migration crisis. The format of the blog “Dobroum” is similar to the blog of Paul Joseph Watson. The police state of Russia did not block it, YouTube did it.

This is the end result of Labour’s mass migration ,open door to Muslims ,pro -Islamification policy.

Lots of U.K Jews were Labour leaders and ministers and voted for mass Muslim migration and now they can’t understand what is happening .

The alliance between the Mufti of Jerusalem and Hitler during the 2nd World War clearly escaped their notice.

The Mufti ,having read Hitler’s “Mein Kampf ” which blamed all of Germany’s and indeed the world’s problems on the Jews and called for a Jewish genocide , felt he
    had found a kindred spirit.

And he sent numerous regiments to fight for Hitler under the direction of the
    Waffen SS.

This is very sad but those who forget the lessons of history are bound to repeat it.

  4. In Russia, the scandal with the singer Yegor Creed continues to grow.
Already the central mass media have begun to write that the Dagestanis want to rape him.
In Russia, society is managed through information injections . For the sake of what is blown up this noise? Or they raise the rating to a mediocre artist or they decided to draw public attention to the wildness of the North Caucasus.

    • Yes. The London School of Economics is another example. But there are a few good ones. George Mason University has carved out a more conservative perch in “the dismal science”. Walter Williams’ work is quite accessible – the epitome of common sense, which is why his classes have had waiting lines/lists.
