Gates of Vienna News Feed 9/14/2018

Hurricane Florence made landfall as a Category 1 at an island just off the coast of North Carolina near Wilmington. It quickly degraded into a tropical storm; however, because it is moving so slowly, it is pouring immense amounts of rain into the coastal areas of the Carolinas. The storm is predicted to make a wide turn and zoom up the Appalachians, leaving Schloss Bodissey largely unscathed (we hope).

In other news, the office of British Prime Minister Theresa May ordered MEPs for the “Conservative” Party to distance themselves from Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.

Chapter Twelve: Sabotaging Education (Part II)

[…]

In 1983, a group of experts, commissioned by the U.S. Department of Education, wrote the report A Nation at Risk after eighteen months of research. The authors of the report said:

“For our country to function, citizens must be able to reach some common understandings on complex issues, often on short notice and on the basis of conflicting or incomplete evidence. Education helps form these common understandings, a point Thomas Jefferson made long ago in his justly famous dictum: ‘I know no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the society but the people themselves; and if we think them not enlightened enough to exercise their control with a wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them but to inform their discretion.’“

Individuals with little knowledge and poor critical thinking ability are unable to recognize lies and deceptions. Education plays an enormous role, and communist elements penetrate into all levels of the education system, making students foolish and ignorant and thus vulnerable to manipulation.

A Nation at Risk makes these additional points: “The educational foundations of our society are presently being eroded by a rising tide of mediocrity that threatens our very future as a Nation and a people.” “If an unfriendly foreign power had attempted to impose on America the mediocre educational performance that exists today, we might well have viewed it as an act of war.”

Glenn Greenwald, the well-known journalist for The Intercept and the reporter who worked closely with NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden to expose vast US government illegal domestic spying, explained this week how mainstream media ‘gate-keeping’ and suppressing alternate perspectives works, especially when it comes to reporting American foreign policy.

Greenwald slammed the corrupt state of the establishment media, explaining, “One of the favorite phrases the US media loves to recite to justify and elevate what they do, and to delegitimize their critics and those who do journalism outside of their structures, is ‘real reporting.’“

“The role of the US media, as always with US wars, has been to suppress, ignore, justify, or propagandize,” Greenwald explained…

‘It Looked Like Armageddon’: Gas Explosions Trigger Deadly Chaos in Massachusetts

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. — Deadly gas-line explosions tore through several communities north of Boston on Thursday, setting dozens of homes on fire, forcing evacuations across three towns, seriously injuring 10 people and leaving one man dead after a piece of chimney fell on his car.

Hours later — after a traumatic afternoon of fiery chaos turned into a night of eerie darkness with power shut off for thousands — officials were still unsure when it would be safe for the displaced residents of Lawrence, North Andover and Andover to return home.

But investigators had begun to zero in on the potential cause of the explosions: over-pressurization of a gas main owned by Columbia Gas, which had been upgrading equipment in the area, according to Jennifer Mieth, a spokeswoman for the state fire marshal’s office.

Before the explosions on Thursday, Columbia Gas notified customers that it would be “upgrading natural gas lines in neighborhoods across the state.” The utility said the move would bring increased reliability and “enhanced safety features.”

A short time later, Massachusetts State Police received almost 80 reports of structure fires and gas explosions in the three communities. Fire crews scrambled to battle dozens of simultaneous blazes…

Leaked Video Shows Google Leadership Express Left-Leaning Bias

A confidential video recorded at Google has been leaked to the press, exposing top leadership openly bemoaning Hillary Clinton’s 2016 loss and discussing how President Donald Trump’s election “conflicts with many” of the company’s values.

The full recording, originally marked as “Internal Only,” that was leaked to Breitbart by an anonymous source depicts the company’s first all-hands weekly meeting after the 2016 presidential election. The unabashed remarks from top leaders reflect a sunken and depressed mood—some are on the edge of tears over the election results—while at the same time express a desire to fight Trump’s policies and reshape public opinion.

Co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, vice presidents Kent Walker and Eileen Naughton, CFO Ruth Porat, and CEO Sundar Pichai all spoke at length during the hourlong meeting.

Throughout the meeting, executives switched back and forth between emotional and combative discourse, as they discussed potential plans for using the company’s powerful resources.

“I certainly find this election deeply offensive and I know many of you do too,” Google co-founder Sergey Brin said. “It conflicts with many of our [company’s] values.”

Meanwhile, CFO Ruth Porat said they have an obligation to “fight for what’s right and to never stop fighting for what’s right.”

“Our values are strong,” she said. “We will fight to protect them and we will use the great strength and resources and reach we have to continue to advance really important values.”

At one point, Porat appeared to hold back tears when recalling the moment she realized Hillary Clinton could lose.

US Cardinal to Discuss Quitting, Pope Calls Bishop Heads

Feb meeting to discuss how to stop sex abuse

(ANSA) — New York, September 12 — Cardinal Donald Wuerl, the Roman Catholic archbishop of Washington under fire for alleged inaction over clerical sex abuse, has sent a letter to his priests saying he will discuss his resignation with Pope Francis in Rome soon.

The news came as Francis on Wednesday called the world’s bishops’ heads to a conference in the Vatican next February on preventing clerical sex abuse.

Wuerl is one of the high-ranking clerics near Pope Francis accused in a letter by former Washington nuncio Carlo Maria Viganò.

Since mid-August, the former archbishop of Pittsburg Wuerl has been at the center of heated debate calling for him to resign after accounts of his allowing several priests accused of sexually abusing children to remain in ministry. The accounts were included in a grand jury report last month in Pennsylvania that accused over 300 priests of abuse.

Alongside other US-based allies of the Pope, Wuerl has been accused of covering up the sexual abuse of children committed by his predecessor in the capital, Theodore McCarrick.

Close to both the former and the present popes, 77-year-old Wuerl had offered to leave the ministry when he turned 75 due to age limits but Pope Francis had opted to keep him in his position. The cardinal had in recent days visited the Vatican to discuss the situation with the Pope, who told him to go back to Washington to assess the issue with his priests.

Viganò’s letter calling for the pope to resign has sparked a fresh row between conservatives and liberals in the Church.

The pope meanwhile on Wednesday called the heads of the world’s bishops’ conferences to a meeting in the Vatican from February 21 to 24, to “discuss the prevention of abuse on minors and vulnerable adults”, the deputy head of the Vatican press office, Paloma Garcia Ovejero, said, reading a statement from the Council of Cardinals (C9).

The pope’s move comes amid a row sparked by Viganò’s claim that Francis and top bishops covered for McCarrick.

Viganò said the pope should resign for allegedly not implementing alleged sanctions on the former cardinal.

The pope has not dignified Viganò’s charges with a denial but is said to be “embittered” by them.

The Church has been roiled by abuse scandals for decades, the latest in Pennsylvania where over 1,000 minors were allegedly raped by 300 priests over the course of 70 years.

Msgr Georg Gaenswein, the personal secretary of former pope Benedict XVI, on Tuesday compared the crisis the Catholic Church is enduring due to sex abuse scandals to the impact of the September 11 terrorist attacks.

“Today is September 11, the date of an apocalyptic disaster and the Church is looking at its own September 11, full of dismay, above all, following the Pennsylvania grand jury report,” Gaenswein said during an encounter at the Lower House.

“This catastrophe of ours is linked to many days and years and to countless victims”.

Gaenswein said that during his papacy, Benedict repeatedly denounced the gravity of paedophilia, calling it an attack on the Church from within.

On Monday Pope Francis’ nine top cardinal advisers, the C9, said the Holy See was preparing the “necessary clarifications” about Viganò’s charges in the McCarrick affair.

On September 3 Francis called for silence and prayer as “some people seek only scandal”.

He did not refer to the Viganò scandal directly but said the only way forward was one of “prayer and silence”.

Some people, he said, “seek only scandal, they seek only division”.

Gaenswein has said Benedict has not confirmed the content of the letter from Viganò saying Francis covered up sex crimes by McCarrick and should resign.

Gaenswein called a report that Benedict had backed Viganò “fake news, a lie”.

He said the pope emeritus had not commented on the letter and would not do so in future either.

Pope Francis is “embittered” by Viganò’s letter, Vaticanm sources told ANSA earlier this month Viganò said in the document that Francis had protected McCarrick, who is accused of having sex with adult seminarians and groping a 17-year-old boy.

The pope is not considering resigning, however, the sources said.

Viganò said he told Francis about McCarrick in 2013, saying the prelate had been sanctioned by Benedict, but Francis did nothing about it.

Francis has said he will not respond to Viganò’s charges and has said journalists should be able to work out the truth in the affair.

The case has pitted conservative critics of Francis against progressive supporters who say the traditionalists are “weaponising” child abuse to attack the pope’s mercy-over-morals approach.

Viganò also claimed there was a powerful gay lobby in the Church he blamed for the many scandals on abuse and cover-ups, naming names.

Viganò, who was previously involved in the Vatileaks case, has said that he was not pursuing a vendetta for having been replaced as nuncio to the US in 2016, or previously losing his place in the Vatican government.

“I have never had feelings of revenge or rancour in all these years,” he said.

He denied being a “poison-pen letter writer”, saying “I am accustomed to doing things in the light of day.” Viganò is one of the conservatives who have criticised Francis for opening up to gays and remarried divorce’s while denouncing ‘clericalism’, unfettered capitalism and climate change, among other liberal moves.

The minors’ protection board of the Italian Bishops Conference (CEI) on Tuesday saw eye to eye with a corresponding Vatican panel on a series of moves to stop clerical sex abuse of kids, a CEI spokesman said Wednesday.

Listening to victims, new commitments to education, training and communication, and drafting new guidelines on protecting minors and vulnerable adults were among the moves discussed, said Father Ivan Maffeis.

He called the joint work “substantive collaboration which aims above all at the elaboration of proposals, initiatives and instruments of prevention to offer dioceses.

“So as not to stop at condemning the abuse and to promote a culture of the person and their dignity”.

Don’t Dare Call us Mussolinis — Di Maio to Moscovici

‘Intolerable’ attitude says deputy PM

(ANSA) — Rome, September 13 — European Economic Affairs Commissioner Pierre Moscovici should not “dare” to call Italy’s governing parties “little Mussolinis”, Deputy Premier Luigi Di Maio said Thursday.

Moscovici had said earlier that the rise of European populists showed that “today there is a climate that very much resembles the 1930s. Certainly, we must not exaggerate, clearly there isn’t Hitler, perhaps little Mussolinis”.

Di Maio, leader of the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S), said “the attitude from some European commissioners is unacceptable, really intolerable.

“They dare to say that in Italy there are many little Mussolinis, they should not dare!”.

The M5S is allied in government with the anti-migrant Euroskeptic League party of Interior Minister and Deputy Premier Matteo salvini.

Both parties have been dubbed populist, a label they do not disdain.

French conservative and far-right political forces on Tuesday blasted Education Minister Jean-Michel Blanquer’s welcome of a proposal to “revive the teaching of Arabic” in schools in a bid to combat Islamism in the country.

Italy: Kyenge on Trial for Calling League Racist

First black minister once likened to orangutan

(ANSA) — Piacenza, September 14 — Centre-left opposition Democratic Party (PD) MEP Cecile Kyenge, formerly Italy’s first black minister, went on trial Thursday for calling the anti-migrant League party racist.

The trial of Kyenge, once likened to an orangutan by a League heavyweight, is the result of a libel suit filed by League leader Matteo Salvini.

During a PD supporters’ yearly get-together in Parma, Kyenge said the League was a “racist” party.

The League, while pursuing a crackdown on migrants, has always denied it is racist.

Kyenge has been the target of League abuse for years.

Last year, when the League was still called the Northern League, MEP Mario Borghezio was ordered to pay the Congo-born former integration minister Cecile Kyenge 50,000 euros in compensation for a racist slur.

“I can’t afford it, I’ll have to sell my house,” commented Borghezio, who has a history of controversial anti-immigrant remarks and actions.

Borghezio, interviewed on April 29, 2013 after Kyenge’s appointment, reportedly said among other things that “Africans are Africans and belong to an ethnic group very different from ours”.

He also complained that Kyenge, who was educated in Italy to become an ophthalmologist, had taken away a health post that he said should have been given to “some Italian doctor”.

In another remark that was not covered by last year’s verdict, Borghezio claimed Kyenge would impose her “tribal traditions” from the Congo on Italy.

“This is a bonga bonga government, they want to change birthright citizenship laws and Kyenge wants to impose her tribal traditions from the Congo,” said Borghezio.

Other politicians with the Northern League have faced legal action for comments against Kyenge.

Former Senator Ermino Boso, interviewed a few days after Borghezio on May 1, 2013, reportedly said Kyenge should have “stayed home in the Congo”.

In November 2013 Northern League Senator and former minister Roberto Calderoli was charged with defamation aggravated by racial discrimination after he compared Kyenge to an orangutan.

That remark by Calderoli was one of the first and probably the worst, but not the only such slur against the eye doctor.

Earlier in 2013 Northern League Padua Councillor Dolores Valandro posted on Facebook that someone should rape Kyenge “so she knows what it feels like” in response to a report of an Italian woman who was allegedly raped by an African man.

Borghezio has a track record of anti-immigrant acts.

In 2000 he was lampooned on TV for his efforts to clean up, with dusters and spray, trains allegedly used by foreign prostitutes and immigrants.

Italy: Only Racists Are Leftwing Politicians — Salvini

Italy isn’t racist, we cooperate with UN says interior minister

(ANSA) — Rome, September 13 — Interior Minister and Deputy Premier Matteo Salvini on Thursday returned to the controversy caused by an announcement by Michelle Bachelet, the United Nations’ new human rights chief, that the UN wants to send a team to Italy over reports of migrants increasingly facing attacks and racism. “The only racists that I know are some leftwing politicians who have transformed Bari and Italy into a refugee camp,” Salvini said during a visit to the southern city of Bari.

“They are racist against Italian people”. The leader of the rightwing League party also commented on the case after meeting Filippo Grandi, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, at the interior ministry in Rome.

“We cooperate to solve problems, the total opposite of the racism alarm denounced by some ignorant people who don’t know Italy and its splendid people,” Salvini said.

Why Italy’s Matteo Salvini is the Most Feared Man in Europe

As evening fell on the town of Alzano lombardo in northern Italy one Sunday in early September, about 2,000 people crowded into a marquee tent. Anticipation grew as the announcer blared through a loudspeaker over the music, “Il capitano sta arrivando!”—The captain is coming!

Il capitano was Italy’s Matteo Salvini—the far-right Interior Minister whose rocketing rise over just six months has jolted Europe’s establishment and threatens to finally upturn a political system that has reeled under a populist surge for the past three years. When Salvini finally burst onto the stage after dark in jeans and his trademark green sneakers, the crowd was spellbound. For nearly two hours, a beer in one hand, he told the audience he would seize back control of their lives from the European Union’s faceless bureaucrats. “Italians first!” he shouted, to loud cheers.

If Salvini has his way, his campaign to reshape Europe might have only just begun. In a rare, far-ranging interview with TIME in Rome on Sept. 4, Salvini laid out a plan that would not just shake the E.U. to its foundations but also might remake it from the inside out. “Changing Europe is a big goal,” he says. “But I think it is at our fingertips.”

Muslim Girl Killed by Her Father and Brother for Being in ‘Relationship’ With Hindu Boy

Honour killing in Bengal: Muslim father and brother kill girl for eloping with a boy of Hindu faith.

Jayita Sen | HENB | Kolkata | Sept 12, 2018:: In a suspected case of honour killing, a Muslim girl was strangulated and mutilated by her father and brother in Purba Burdwan district, West Bengal, for being in a ‘relationship’ with a Hindu man.

The duo, residents of Bihar’s Muzaffarpur, were arrested from Kolkata on Monday by Purba Burdwan district police, a senior officer said.

Police who on 31st August recovered the body of a woman whose face was mutilated with a stone, from a bush off Nabagram Durgapur Expressway around 19 km from Burdwan, said “During the post-mortem, we found some numbers jotted near on her thigh, following which we got hold of the man with whom she was in a relationship.”

The Muslim girl Jahana Khatun (19 yrs) had a relation with a Hindu boy named Kiran Kumar (20 yrs) of same village of Chak Alhadad. Though Kiran left his village over a year and shifted to Mumbai in his work-place the duo used to continue their relationship through mobile chat and they met each other at Nagpur and Mumbai, as reported.

The family members of the girl were giving continuous threat to Kiran not to keep further relationship with Jahana. But the lovers could not cut off their affairs anyway. Recently, family of Jahana started severe torturing on her and sometimes she was kept in chains put on her legs.

A police team then reached the Hindu boy’s residence in Mumbai, who then provided the police with all the necessary details of the girl’s residence and family members. This helped the police to nab her father Muhammad Mustafa and brother Muhammad Jahid, who worked as drivers in Kolkata and used to stay at Beniapukur area near Park Circus.

Being enraged with the affairs between a Hindu boy and a Muslim girl, Mustafa and Jahid hatched a plan to kill Jahana inviting her to come to Kolkata for a settlement of a marriage with Kiran. But, Jahana could not understand the cruelest motive of her father and brother to kill her so brutally…

Top Google Scientist Quits Over Plan for Censored Chinese Search Engine

‘I am forced to resign in order to avoid contributing to, or profiting from, the erosion of protection for dissidents’

A top Google employee has resigned in protest of the company’s work on a censored search engine for China.

The employee, 32-year-old Jack Poulson, who worked as a senior research scientist for Google’s research and machine intelligence division, first raised concerns at the company in early August after documents published by The Intercept first revealed the project’s existence.

Known internally as Dragonfly, the censored search engine would allow the Chinese government to keep its citizens from accessing any data it deems sensitive.

Poulson, who is believed to be one of at least 5 employees to quit over Dragonfly, told The Intercept’s Ryan Gallagher that he felt an “ethical responsibility to resign” over the “forfeiture of our public human rights commitments.”

Aside from the censored search engine, Poulson also expressed concern over customer data being hosted in China, a country notorious for targeting dissidents.

Poulson laid out his issues with Dragonfly and Google’s direction in a resignation letter to his superiors.

Julian Assange Was Involved in Melbourne’s Rave Scene in the 1990s, Techno Shuffle Book Reveals

In early ‘90s Melbourne it was difficult to find electronic dance music on the radio or at the record store.

These events were put on by English expats and local DJs, supported by rave devotees who looked after the lights, décor and chill-out zones.

One of these devotees, according to Fleckney, was WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

Malta ‘Doesn’t Give a Damn’ About Migrant Duties — Salvini

OK to migrant deal if Germany helps on Sophia

(ANSA) — Rome, September 14 — Italian Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini said Friday that Malta didn’t “give a damn” about its migrant rescue duties and was instead steering boats into Italian waters.

Salvini also that he was ready to sign an agreement with Germany on the return of migrants if Berlin helps it get the terms of the Sophia mission in the Mediterranean overhauled.

Salvini, who has spearheaded the new government’s tough stance on migration which has seen NGO-run rescue ships denied access to Italy’s ports, says Sophia placed too much of the burden for receiving asylum seekers saved at sea on Italy.

The German government said that it reached a deal with Rome for the return of migrants registered in Italy at the German border but Salvini said Thursday that the agreement has not yet been finalised.

“The agreement with Germany, which I have not signed yet, will be limited to November and will be at zero cost,” Salvini said regarding the deal that would see Germany accepting one rescued migrant from Italy for each one it turns back.

“It won’t regard past cases and it will be signed if Germany gives us a hand on changing the rules of the Sophia mission, which, because of the government of (ex-premier Matteo) Renzi, has seen 45,000 people disembark in Italy.

“I’m ready to sign, but it must be favourable to us”. Italy wants the Sophia landing remit to be expanded so that ports outside Italy are also included.

Salvini denied German assertions that the migrant return accord had already been “clinched”.

Salvini declared that Malta “doesn’t give a damn” about its migrant rescue duties, to the detriment of EU solidarity and to Italy.

“There is an (EU) member State that is very much not giving a damn about its duties, with repeated cases of multiple ships, also in difficulty in Maltese waters, ignored and accompanied towards Italy, ignoring solidarity,” he said.

Further, Salvini said Salvini said he would soon go on a mission with European Migration Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos to African countries which migrants leave from.

Addressing a press conference in Vienna with Austrian counterpart Herbert Kickl, Salvini said “we agreed with European Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos on joint missions to African countries migrants leave from to drive home the message that Italy and the EU have no intention of allowing more arrivals, as for example the 57,000 Nigerians of the last year and a half”, Salvini said.

Salvini also said migrants could be identified on board rescue ships to facilitate so-called “lightning repatriations”.

Speaking with Austrian counterpart Herbert Kickl, he said the migrants would be directly taken to origin countries with which there are relevant accords.

“Among the new innovative and effective measures we can’t rule out an identification on the ships, once migrants have been rescued from the boats,” said Salvini.

Salvini added that Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn used “vulgar” language in a verbal spat with him earlier.

“We are awaiting in a few minutes’ time the Luxembourg minister to continue the debate with calm tones, he was vulgar before,” said Salvini, flanked by Austrian counterpart Herbert Kickl.

Earlier Salvini said “we don’t need to have new slaves to replace the children we no longer produce” and Asselborn swore “merde alors”, a vulgar expression meaning “drat”, before saying “deal with your money to help feed your children”.

Reconsidering the Deep State’s Refugee Act of 1980

In light of the recent Deep State-fabricated “refugee crisis,” brought upon by the United States’ and its NATO allies’ neoconservative appetite for “regime change” and spreading “democracy” in the Middle East, notably in Syria — where millions have been displaced — the United States should take appropriate steps to avoid a spillover from Europe’s influx of refugees.

By the end of 2016, over five million refugees had made it into Europe, according to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. And more have continued to reach Europe’s shores since then. Meanwhile, over three million refugees have resettled in the United States since President Jimmy Carter signed the Refugee Act of 1980 into law.

With no foreseeable end in sight to the three-way war in Syria (the United States, its NATO European allies, and supposedly non-ISIS armed Islamic rebels on one side; Russia and Basher al-Assad’s regime on the other; and ISIS forces vying for power), millions more are likely to be displaced and seeking refuge in the West.

As establishment elites continue to regard the influx of Arab and Islamic refugees as a “crisis,” the United States could see further sharp increases in the number of those seeking asylum and resettling under the Refugee Act of 1980. To avoid a flood of incoming refugees, the bulk of whose identities cannot be verified, it would behoove the United States to reevaluate the merits (or lack thereof) of this law.

Salvini on Time Cover, ‘New Face of Europe’

‘Immigration czar leading mission to undo EU’

(ANSA) — Washington, September 13 — Anti-migrant Euroskeptic League leader and Interior Minister Matteo Salvini has earned the front cover of the latest Time magazine with a photo captioned “the new face of Europe”, calling him “Italy’s immigration czar who is leading a mission to undo the EU”.

Inside, Time ran a long interview with Salvini, who is also deputy premier.

The rightwing populist leader has spearheaded a tough new stance on migrants since taking power in May, turning back NGO rescue ships and vowing to deport hundreds of thousands of migrants.

He has also sounded combative notes on EU budget limits.

Salvini tells Time that “we are working to recover the European spirit that has been betrayed by those who lead this union”.

The minister says “it is clear that I must change the European dynamics”.

Time’s Rome correspondent Vivienne Walt speaks of Salvini as “the most feared man in Europe”, “the captain whose rocketing rise over just six months has jolted Europe’s establishment and threatens to finally upturn a political system that has reeled under a populist surge for the past three years”.

Walt says: As Europe began dealing with an unprecedented influx of migrants from the Middle East and Africa, Salvini sensed an opportunity, broadening the League’s message to encompass a trenchant nationalism (and in the process dropping the Northern from its name). “He seized on Italians’ frustrations over their debt-laden economy, sluggish growth and a more than one-third youth unemployment rate, and minted a new slogan with Trumpian echoes: “Italians first.” On EU change, Salvini was quoted as saying “I choose to change things from within”. “That is more difficult and longer and more complicated. But it is a more concrete solution.” “History will entrust us with the role of saving European values,” he tells TIME, listing among those values, “the Judeo-Christian roots, the right to work, the right to life.” He also links migrants to crime — a charge his detractors say is a racist lie. Again, he brushes off the criticism. “If I can reduce the number of these crimes, and the presence of illegal immigrants, they can call me racist all they want.”

Syrian Refugee Charged With First-Degree Murder of 13-Year-Old Marrisa Shen

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) says a man has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of 13-year-old Marrisa Shen.

Ibrahim Ali, 28, has been charged in connection with Shen’s murder in July of 2017. He was arrested on Sept. 7 in Burnaby and will appear in court next on Friday.

IHIT Supt. Donna Richardson said Ali has no criminal record.

“Prior to us having contact with this individual, he was not known to us, the police environment.”

IHIT said this is believed to be a random homicide.

“We still believe that this crime was a random act, meaning that Marrisa did not know the suspect and vice versa,” Richardson said.

Understanding the Tactics of Subversive Globalism

I still hold to the idea that the best way to understand globalism is to study and expose the efforts of a group called the “Fabian Society,” otherwise known as Fabian Socialists. The society was founded in England in 1884 and was an extension of the “Round Table” groups being established by global elitists in the West at the time. The Fabians have been at the forefront of almost every pro-socialist and pro-globalist movement of the past century, and while they do not get as much attention as institutions like the Council on Foreign Relations or even the Bilderberg Group, their open discussions on their own motivations and goals make them a prime source of data on the psychology of our opponents.

The Fabian Society has multiple mascots which hint at the nature of globalism. One symbol of the group is an angry turtle with the slogan “When I strike I strike hard,” indicating the slow and deliberate nature of globalism and its methodical spread into every aspect of our daily lives. Another mascot they have used in the past is a wolf dressed up as a sheep, a symbol which I think is self explanatory, but to clarify — a person that appears to be anti-globalist in rhetoric or who is criticized by people like the Fabians may still be a Fabian in disguise. Their relationships with elitists will expose their true nature as a Trojan Horse.

I think that the best representation of these people and their thinking resides in their own words, however. Here are some choice quotes from past members:…The Open Conspiracy will appear first, I believe as a conscious organization of intelligent, and in some cases wealthy men, as a movement having distinct social and political aims, confessedly ignoring most of the existing apparatus of political control, or using it only as an incidental implement in the stages, a mere movement of a number of people in a certain direction, who will presently discover, with a sort of a surprise, the common object toward which they are all moving. In all sorts of ways, they will be influencing and controlling the ostensible government.” — H.G. Wells: The Open Conspiracy: Blue Prints for a World Revolution, 1928.

“I also made it quite clear that socialism means equality of income or nothing, and that under Socialism you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you like it or not. If it were discovered that you had not character and industry enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner; but whilst you were permitted to live you would have to live well.” — George Bernard Shaw, The Intelligent Woman’s Guide to Socialism and Capitalism, 1928

[…]

Today, the Fabian Society still exists and operates as a think tank much like any other globalist think tank. Their articles and essays push the latest globalist propaganda from the erasure of national sovereignty to the promotion of gender politics and gender “fluidity.” But what can we draw from these writings and the statements of past members?

First, globalists use guerrilla-like tactics to achieve their goals and they often act slowly and quietly over the course of years or decades. The Fabian Society was named after the Roman General Quintus Fabius Maximus who famously used tactics of attrition and delay to defeat his enemies. Liberty activists need to start thinking in terms of the long game, much like a chess player does, in order to grasp the globalist agenda. The events triggered today may have intended effects which are not necessarily obvious to us now unless we consider how they relate to the greater scheme.

This is especially true in terms of economics. Globalists stage fiscal bubbles many years in advance, and use economic crisis as a catalyst for social change on a grand scale. Usually this results in ever increasing centralization of wealth and power. However, the shift of financial dominance is subtle to those who do not pay particular attention to the details. A market bubble might take a decade to develop before it is deliberately popped. In the meantime all the fundamentals are screaming that something is very wrong, but the majority of the public remains oblivious until it is too late.

  1. “In other news, the office of British Prime Minister Theresa May ordered MEPs for the “Conservative” Party to distance themselves from Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán.”

We can divide the world into two types of brains:

    1. One thinking like Theresa May, Obama, Merkel, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton and Hubby, George Soros, and every other traitor who enable muslims to invade the west. And,

    2. The opposite thinking brains like hero Orban, Nigel Farage , Geert Wilders, Tommy Robinson, hero Matteo Salvini, Pres. Trump and other noblemen like them

Does Theresa May and her ilk know the truth but are hypocrites to keep their job, or they are not hypocrites and their mental capacity is limited to a box.?

How can a woman ranking so high but low in mental faculties lead her country to disaster and does not know it. Where are those motherly and female abilities that we were told in the ’50s and ’60s, that women are inherently kind peaceful, and discerning, able to tell things apart, hence able to avoid all wars that men have waged because of their innate aggressiveness and machismo.

Men go to Gaza to “help” the “Palestinians”.

But they never go deeper and ask themselves : Where are the Jews and Christians of the 57 usurped countries that they colonize today?

  2. How far should the MEPs ‘distance’ themselves? The distance from 10 Downing Street to Westminster Parliament?
