A More Likely Reason Rahm Emanuel Dropped Out: The Chicago Time Bomb
Submitted by Ted Dabrowski and John Klingner of WirePoints
We may never know why Rahm Emanuel decided to drop out of the Chicago mayoral race. But the media is certainly giving him a pass. They say he simply dropped out for fear of losing. But there’s a far more likely reason than that.
Emanuel is smart, and the smart reason for leaving is glaring: He doesn’t want to risk becoming “mayor bankruptcy.” Chicago is a ticking time bomb and Emanuel is jumping ship just in case it goes off.
Don’t dismiss that scenario too quickly. Despite his lofty intentions when he first took office, Emanuel has failed miserably to reform the city’s finances. Now the risk of insolvency is rising.
Chicago’s financials are dire and the city has no plan and no reserves to survive an inevitable recession. In fact, the city has barely kept its head above the water despite a decade of national economic growth. Chicago Public Schools was already at the brink of bankruptcy just one year ago.
Rahm knows the risks of collapse are rising. He’s passed property tax hikes, emptied the reserves and employed every budget trick he can to make the numbers “better.” He’s even sold off public assets — the city’s future sales tax revenues — to “shore up” the city’s finances, and yet Chicago is still junk rated by Moody’s.

Target2; European Banking Crisis is Escalating Again
Problems of Deutsche Bank, Commerzbank, Monte dei Paschi and other German, Italian and Spanish banks are not the only concern of the European Banking System. Trouble is much deeper than it is thought because there is a systemic imbalance that has been increasing for almost ten years. Politicians do not want to tell us the truth, but soon we will experience the same crisis in the Monetary Union as we did in 2012.
The extent of the problems in the European Banking System is TARGET2 and its balances of the National Central Banks of the Eurosystem. These balances, or rather imbalances, reflect the direction of the capital flight. And there is only one way: from Southern Europe into Germany. After Mario Draghi’s famous words “I do whatever it takes to save the euro”, things seemed to improve; however, since January 2015 problems have been escalating again.

The ECB is Preparing for the End of the Eurozone
A break-up of the eurozone is not a science-fiction scenario anymore, thanks to the European Central Bank and its Public Sector Purchase Programme (PSPP). The more government bonds the ECB buys, the smaller becomes the problem of a country’s insolvency and debt conversion into French francs or Greek drachmas. Eventually, who cares if all the bonds are kept by the institution that cannot go bankrupt and that is out of the financial market?

Benghazi Hero Destroys Obama Supporter Montel Williams for Telling Him to “Sit Down and Shut Up”
Montel: No. This is what happens when you act like a prick, son. You’re not being persecuted. Sit down, shut up and grow the f up. take our poll — story continues below
Paronto: Prick? So did you just suspended for your hateful comment Semper Fudge? Most likely not …and I ain’t your son “Sir”. If I was I’d be an ignorant ass just like you. I grew up a long time ago, long before your Messiah BHO left me and my team to die. #stayinyourlane
AMERICAN HERO KRIS “TANTO” PARONTO survived Benghazi by fighting like crazy even though the Obama administration abandoned him. To ad insult to injury, Paronto and other survivors had to endure the lies that the Obama administration told after the horrific attack.
FLASH FORWARD and Paronto is a force to be reckoned with on Twitter. He isn’t afraid to be brutally honest with the liars in politics and the lefty activists who come at him with vile tweets. After Obama called Benghazi a conspiracy, Paronto went at it to tweet back to Obama but that wasn’t the end of it:
THIS TWEET TO OBAMA HAS TO BE THE BEST TWEET EVER!
Benghazi is a conspiracy @BarackObama ?! How bout we do this, let’s put your cowardly ass on the top of a roof with 6 of your buddies&shoot rpg’s&Ak47’s at you while terrorists lob 81mm mortars killing 2 of your buddies all while waiting for US support that you never sent.
Hillary ordered him and his team to keep their mouths shut and go along with the “Muslim video” story. He refused and lost his security clearance. Guess who took it? John Brennan.
[Comment: Paronto is a hero and a fine example of a patriotic American — 13 hours is a good film. Clearly Hillary and Obama expected them to all die and thus nobody would be left to speak the truth. ]

The NFL has been tarnished by protesting players who “take a knee” during the national anthem. One jewelry store owner in Massachusetts thought it was the perfect time to make light of a sticky situation by posting a billboard that cracked a joke at the “take a knee” movement.
While many people thought the billboard advertising for Garieri Jewelers was funny, there certainly were some who did not. In fact, those who lacked the sense of humor and ability to laugh at the punny play on words found it so offensive that some people have sent the family death threats!
Imagine that! You make something a little funny and all of a sudden you’re having threats directed at your family. take our poll — story continues below
The guy was just having a little fun with a bizarre situation that has plagued the NFL, so it’s very alarming that people are getting this upset by it. He wanted to lighten things up a bit, but some people just couldn’t handle it.
Some people called the billboard racist. Some called it insensitive. Others called it downright hilarious! Can’t people just lighten up once in a while and enjoy a good laugh?
Here’s the billboard causing all the controversy. It says “If you’re going to take a knee this season please have a ring in your hand!”

Lindsey Graham: Trump-Trashing Op-Ed is a Clue-Filled ‘Signal’ From Mueller. Here’s What it Means …
Sen. Lindsey Graham, a recent defender of President Donald Trump, has offered an interesting take on the notorious anti-Trump op-ed published this week by The New York Times and allegedly written by a “senior official” in the White House.
Speaking with CNN host Wolf Blitzer, the South Carolina senator speculated Friday that the author of the piece may be trying to manufacture “a new line of attack” against the president to make up for the failures of special counsel Robert Mueller’s lagging investigation.
“This op-ed piece about the personality of the president — suggesting that he’s unhinged and incapable of being a good president without being minded — tells me a lot about the Mueller investigation,” Graham remarked.
“This, to me, is a signal that if there’s nothing there with Russia, in terms of the president working with the Russians during his campaign, the next line of attack is the man is unfit for office.”

Colin Kaepernick floated back into news headlines this week when it was announced that he would be part of Nike’s latest ad campaign that was meant to inspire people almost as much as it inadvertently divided them. Nike’s selection of Colin Kaepernick in their ad that many refer to as the “sacrifice everything” and it has turned into a bonanza of meme-making, trash talking, and flag debating Kaepernick talk that has already helped put a “take a knee” damper on the NFL’s 2018 season.
As if low ratings weren’t bad enough for the NFL, now we have this this little reminder that takes us back to last year when Colin Kaepernick was called out for donating to a group who supports a cop-killer. It’s like this guy keeps finding his way into the limelight and people keep finding ways to dislike him. If there was a reason to dislike him, then this might be the best reason.

The Untold Story About Obama’s Former CIA Director, John Brennan
Authored by Richard Galustian via TheDuran.com
“Why does John Brennan need a security clearance other than to commercially exploit it?”
Let’s get something clear from the start.
In 1976, in his 20s, John Brennan was a card-carrying communist who supported the then Soviet Union, at the height some might say of the Cold War, so much so he voted and assisted Gus Hall, the communist candidate for President against a devout Christian, Jimmy Carter who ultimately won the Presidency.
Yet under four years later, just after the then Soviet Union invaded, just weeks before, Afghanistan and months after the tumultuous Iranian revolution of 1979, which at the time many thought the Soviet Union had a hand in, Brennan was accepted into the CIA as a junior analyst.
At that time, John Brennan should have never got into the CIA, or any Western Intelligence agency given his communist background.
Think on that carefully as you continue to read this.
Also reflect on the fact that Brennan, later in his CIA career, was surprisingly elevated from junior analyst to the prestigious position of Station Chief in Saudi Arabia where he spent a few years.
Its said he was appointed purely for ‘political’reasons, alleged to have been at the direct request of Bill Clinton and other Democrats not because of a recommendation or merit from within the Agency.
Its further said that the Saudis liked Brennan because he became very quickly ‘their man’so to speak. Some reports, unsubstantiated, even allege Brennan became a Muslim while there to ingratiate himself with the Saudis.

Twitter Exiles Alex Jones to Internet Archipelago as Crackdown on American Discourse Heats Up
Jones silenced not for something he wrote or said online, but for an action he committed in the ‘real world’
Today in the US, just arguing with someone can get you banned from social media platforms. We have crossed into a parallel reality, the very Matrix dungeon, where tech companies police not only our thoughts but our behavior.
A strange thing happened on the way to this week’s Senate hearing on social media. As the masters of the tech universe were attempting to calm US lawmakers, assuring the stone-faced agents of Corporate America that they are systematically cracking down on Russia, fake news and anything that reeks of stinky people power, a verbal brawl was occurring just down the hall.
In an off corridor on Capitol Hill, Alex Jones, of InfoWars fame and notoriety, crossed paths with CNN ace reporter, Oliver Darcy. Things got ugly fast. In fact, had it been an MMA feature fight, the ref would have stopped the bout in a matter of seconds. Jones’ vicious verbal pounding — at one point he compared Darcy to “a rat” and called him “evil looking” — was so brutal it left the senior CNN reporter visibly stunned.
It was Jones’ second knockout in as many days…
This is not a defense of Alex Jones, of course, who is known for spewing conspiracy theories. The problem is that an individual has been silenced not for something he wrote or said on the Internet, but for an action he committed in the ‘real world.’ That should frighten any person with a soundly functioning brain.
The only “abusive behavior” that should matter to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is the verbal content that is contained in the estimated 500 million Tweets published daily. Heck, even if the confrontation between Jones and Darcy had come down to blows and blood that should be a matter for the police and courts to settle, not Twitter. There is no place in civil society for any tech company — private or otherwise — to play overlord of the holy algorithm with people’s private lives…
The writing is on the wall. The banning of Alex Jones and his media outlets is the clarion call for a massive culling across the social media platforms. And this move should not be confused as anything remotely connected to strength. Just the opposite. With audiences abandoning the leaking ship of the legacy media in droves, pressure is now being placed on the social media giants to remove the ‘dissenting’ voices.
[Comment: Considering what Darcy did to push for quelling free speech, he got off lightly.]

Monkeypox Alert: First Case of Rare African Virus Confirmed in UK
UK health officials have claimed that monkeypox, a virus similar to human smallpox that is endemic in Central and Western Africa, has been found in an individual traveling from Nigeria to Britain.
The first ever case of monkeypox was recorded in the United Kingdom, after the rare viral infection was discovered in a Nigerian citizen staying at a naval base in Cornwall, Public Health England announced.
The patient, who is thought to have contracted the virus in Nigeria before flying to the UK, was rushed to the infectious disease unit at the Royal Free Hospital in London on Saturday morning. Passengers who were on the same Nigeria-UK flight have also been contacted as a precautionary measure to monitor their health condition.
PHE stated that monkeypox does not spread easily, and most patients recover within a couple of weeks, but some people may suffer from a severe illness, with initial symptoms including fever, aching muscles, headache and backache, swollen lymph nodes, exhaustion and chills.
Beyond that, some individuals may develop a rash, which usually starts on the face before spreading to other parts of body and eventually falls off after forming a scab.
It is commonly a self-limited disease with the symptoms lasting from 2 to 3 weeks.

UK: Police Tell Citizens to Report “Offensive” Comments Even if They’re Not “Hate Crimes”
While country’s violent crime rate soars & only 9% of crimes end with suspects being charged
A police force in the UK has been on the receiving end of derision after authorities encouraged citizens to report “offensive comments” that don’t even rise to the level of hate crimes.
“In addition to reporting hate crime, please report non-crime hate incidents, which can include things like offensive or insulting comments, online, in person or in writing. Hate will not be tolerated in South Yorkshire. Report it and put a stop to it,” states the tweet from South Yorkshire Police.
An information page was also posted in a follow up tweet that states, “The Police can only prosecute when the law is broken, but we also want to know about non-crime hate incidents. These incidents may not be criminal offences but often can feel like a crime to those affected, and can sometimes escalate to crimes.”
The tweet prompted thousands of responses because it specifically tells people to report incidents that are not even crimes.
Numerous people drew attention to the absurd situation of a country that has a massive problem with Muslim grooming gangs abusing children, including in Sheffield and Rotherham which are in South Yorkshire, while police forces waste time with “offensive” comments on the Internet.
The fact that police resources are being devoted to vague and inconsequential “hate incidents” while the country suffers a violent crime surge is also ludicrous.
[Comment: Doing this instead of investigating cases like Rotherham. More proof that from top down, police are being used to enforce globalist policies.]

Bolton Warns ICC Not to Go After Israel, Confirms Closure of PLO’s DC Office
The United States on Monday warned the International Criminal Court against prosecution of US or Israeli officials for alleged war crimes in the Middle East.
White House National Security Adviser John Bolton called the Hague-based rights body “unaccountable” and “outright dangerous” to the United States, Israel and other allies, and said any probe of US service members would be “an utterly unfounded, unjustifiable investigation.”
In the same speech, Bolton confirmed that the US is closing the PLO’s office in Washington, DC.
In his remarks to the conservative Federalist Society in Washington, Bolton said: “If the court comes after us, Israel or other US allies, we will not sit quietly… The United States will use any means necessary to protect our citizens and those of our allies from unjust prosecution by this illegitimate court.”
Bolton pointed to an ICC prosecutor’s request in November 2017 to open an investigation into alleged war crimes committed by the US military and intelligence officials in Afghanistan, especially over the abuse of detainees. Neither Afghanistan nor any other government party to the ICC’s Rome Statute has requested an investigation, Bolton said.
He said the ICC could formally open the investigation “any day now.”
He also cited a recent move by Palestinian leaders to have Israeli officials prosecuted at the ICC for human rights violations.
While “in theory, the ICC holds perpetrators of the most egregious atrocities accountable for their crimes, provides justice to the victims, and deters future abuses,” he said, “In practice… the court has been ineffective, unaccountable, and indeed, outright dangerous.
“For all intents and purposes, the ICC is already dead to us,” he stated…

A Few Words About the Europe Migrant Catastrophe
Europe has had enough. Critical mass over the refugee crisis has been reached. Any sane person could have predicted what the influx of millions of asylum seekers and economic migrants would do to a cohesive European Union. And today, European citizens are astonished at how their trust in leadership has led to a growing catastrophe. It’s time for Europe to reassess the EU and the course for the future.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel was at the head of a cadre of European leaders that rammed ultra-liberalism down the throats of European Union citizens when the migrant crisis began. She was the poster girl for the liberal world order back in 2014 when the continent started being overrun with refugees. Today, Europe’s most popular leader looks like the sacrificial lamb the globalists will offer up to serve their destructive needs. The madness of importing millions of refugees from Africa and the Middle East will end up being all about Merkel and German idealism. But, her folly is only a bit part in the greater drama enacted by her colleagues in Brussels. Still, Merkel’s Bavarian CSU allies have given her until the end of the EU summit to reduce the burden of immigration on Germany. If she does not soften the impact of taking in 1.6 million migrants since 2014, she will certainly lose her job and reputation.
For those people who are astonished at the current situation, the logical question to EU leaders has risen; “What were they thinking?”
[Comment: These traitors were following their globalist masters and their desire to eliminate the nation state prior to implementing a tyrannical world communist government.]

German Father Called ‘Nazi’ By Leftists for Telling Audience That a Migrant Killed His Son
Last Saturday, a father who’s son was killed by a Syrian migrant in 2017 was booed and called a Nazi by leftist activists and migrants.
In 2017, Markus Hempel, a 30-year-old man, was assaulted by African and Syrian migrants. He was hit by several punches in the face, fell over and hit his head on the pavement. He died a few hours later.

French President Emmanuel Macron and EP President Jean-Claude Juncker are pro-migration politicians who criticise and “attack” Hungary because it rejected to accept migrants and defended its borders, the Hungarian foreign minister told public media on Friday.
“Macron will be a vocal leader of the pro-migration camp in next year’s EP elections, while Juncker carries personal responsibility for the migrant crisis”, Peter Szijjarto said. They “are attacking” Hungary because they want to see the largest possible number of migrants arrive in Europe, he said.

‘We Don’t Want to Live in Middle East & Africa’: Czech PM Blasts EU Migration Policy
Europe must fight for its culture and values amidst the migration crisis, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis has declared. He says recent riots in Germany show how the uncontrolled influx of migrants leads to explosive situations.
“Chemnitz is just right around the corner!” Babis said on Sunday, recalling the chaos that engulfed the eastern German city last week during pro and anti-migrant rallies held there. “I’ve been thoroughly explaining that this is a fight to preserve our European civilization and culture. We don’t want to live in Africa or the Middle East here. We must fight for our values.” Read more Right-wing rally in Chemnitz, Germany. 27 August, 2018 (c) Odd Andersen ‘Get up off sofa and speak up’: German FM blasts right-wing extremists after Chemnitz riots
“Have you seen the pictures of migrant ships heading for tourist beaches? Europeans are shocked and frightened. The same thing happened in Chemnitz. There was not only a murder committed, but also the murders of teenage girls and sexual assaults,” Babis went on.

College Course: Heterosexuality is Not “Natural”
By Professor
My kind readers often give me “hints” on what to write about, and I had several point me in the direction of a strange-looking course, via ZeroHedge.
First let’s address the course by dissecting the course description:…

UK: Trans Lecturer Smeared Academics to Silence Critics With ‘Hate Crime’ Claims
Transgender activists and academics have been coordinating attacks aimed at silencing critics of their gender ideology by accusing them of “hate crimes” and endangering students.
Natacha Kennedy, a lecturer at Goldsmiths, is accused of orchestrating a “blacklist campaign” against university academics who are not convinced biological men can become actual women.

Democratic Socialism is Just That: Socialism
Making everything free would lead to long lines, high taxes, and hyperinflation
We are being inundated by new pitches for “democratic socialism.” This is due to the ballyhooed political success of a few self-proclaimed socialists and tempts high-end pundits to think that now is their time.
The word socialism isn’t toxic anymore, they hopefully observe. It’s no longer necessary to bury the real agenda in euphemisms like “economic democracy,” “participatory economics,” “worker empowerment” or “social justice.” Let’s push this to the limit, call it socialism, and finally get over our enraptured attachment to markets and capitalism as the basis for economic organization.
I’ve read many of these, always in the hope that I will hear an argument that isn’t obviously false or see a plan for precisely how this fantasy is going to be realized. It’s always a disappointment.

Leo III’s 1300 Year-Old Lesson: Understand Islam to Defeat Jihad
by Andrew Bostom
Tuesday (9/11/2018) marks the 17th anniversary of the cataclysmic jihad terror attacks in the United States on September 11, 2001. Thirteen centuries ago, August 15, 718, under the wise and stalwart leadership of Byzantium’s Leo III, the Arab Muslim jihad siege of Constantinople was broken, and the invaders—and Islamdom—suffered an ignominious defeat. These events are described with unique lucidity, and unbowdlerized knowledge of their animating Islamic, and Christian motivations, in Raymond Ibrahim’s compelling new book, Sword and Scimitar. Would that today’s U.S., and other “western” leaders re-consider their largely feckless policies against the resurgent jihad depredations of our era (~34,000 acts of jihad terror since 9/11/2001), and re-examine Leo III’s timeless words, and actions.
Leo III’s alleged eighth century reply letter to the contemporary Muslim Caliph Umar II, who had invited the Byzantine Emperor to renounce Christianity, and adopt Islam, was preserved by the eighth (to tenth?) century Armenian chronicler, Ghevond. Ibrahim’s Sword and Scimitar re-introduced me to both Leo III’s letter, and the great linguist and Islamologist Arthur Jeffrey’s (d. 1959) annotated 1944 English translation, and analysis of Ghevond’s rendering of it, which was succinctly characterized in my 2005 compendium on jihad:…

Regarding the Siege of Constantinople, 716-718 AD, sources suggest that the help of Bulgarians under the ruler Khan Tervel (Trivelius, Trebelius) was decisive to stop the enormous Arab army.
Mainly the Chronicles of Theophanus the Confessor attest to this, but also Arab, other Byzantine and Armenian sources.
Tervel himself was a Christian, his Icons may be found in Western European churches, and his deeds were also mentioned in Western chronicles; even medieval tragedies were written about him (below). Indeed with Charles Martel and Leo III Isaurus, he ranks among the leaders who saved Europe from the early Muslim conquests.
Bulgarian armies surrounded the Arabs who were – in turn – besieging Constantinople, so that the Muslim Armies were cut from their supplies, and became the real besieged between the unsurmountable Constantinople walls and the Bulgarian forces in their rear. On the sea, the Bulgarians didn’t have participation but on the ground, their cavalry was victorious, killing 22 000 Arabs in one encounter only according to the Chronicle of Theophan.

Do you know how people cast ballots in Sweden?
The OSCE is appalled by the lack of democracy there. and they tried to give moral lessons to others!
I noticed one coincidence: if the news is written that the crime was committed by a “visitor from near abroad” and the name and country are not named, then this is a Caucasian or Asian. Because if it is a migrant: a Moldovan, a Belorussian or a Ukrainian – this is reported immediately. This is a marker.
Today reported that in Stavropol, detained “maniac” who splashed in the face of the girls acid. I found the name only on the 20th link. Daghestanian.

During the interrogation, the guy confessed to the attacks and admitted that he had poured acid on the girls to get the accumulated anger and aggression on them.
– It was hard for me, there was a big load on me. As for studying, and on other situations in life. I wanted to be morally distracted, to satisfy myself morally, causing harm to other people, – said Shamil.
He has not yet managed to remove his profile in VKontakte: half of the links are from Muslim groups.

In general, we have a lot of interesting things happening recently: the Azerbaijani-recidivist seriously injured two people with a knife in Moscow at the station.
And the Kirghiz crushed ten of his compatriots on the “Day of the City of Moscow”.
“The first ever case of monkeypox was recorded in the United Kingdom, after the rare viral infection was discovered in a Nigerian citizen staying at a naval base in Cornwall, Public Health England announced.”
One of the open borders downsides the Liberals won’t tell you about, is Third World disease will come in as well where people are not screened. Even the gulf state Arabs know this and health check migrant workers, chest x rays etc.
Jim Carrey should say yes to a lobotomy. It couldn’t make him any dumb or dumber, or more delusional than at present…
Whatever Angela rammed down the throats of E.U. citizens it sure has heck wasn’t “ultra-liberalism.” No, she rammed her utter loathing for them down their throats.
