Feria de Nîmes is a popular festival centered on Spanish-style bullfighting that is held each year in Nîmes, in the south of France. In May 2012, the Feria celebrated its 60th anniversary.
A few days ago, a culture-enricher celebrated 1,400 years of jihad by attempting to drive his vehicle into a crowd of people in Nîmes.
Many thanks to Ava Lon for the translation, and to Vlad Tepes for the subtitling:
|00:00||Huge scare last night in Nîmes, around 1:30 am. At the very|
|00:04||beginning of La Feria [bullfighting], a driver plowed into the crowd gathered in front|
|00:08||of a coffee shop. The car was fortunately stopped by the barriers designed to prevent|
|00:12||intrusions, which you can see on those images. Two people were|
|00:16||lightly injured. Even though the deed seems premeditated, the police aren’t favoring|
|00:20||a terrorist hypothesis. An investigation was opened into attempted murder.
