If You Read Between the Lines, Global Economic Leaders Are Telling us Exactly What is Coming

Sometimes, a strongly-worded denial is the most damning evidence of all that something is seriously wrong. And when things start to really get crazy, “the spin” is often the exact opposite of the truth. In recent days we have seen a lot of troubling headlines and a lot of chaos in the global financial marketplace, but authorities continue to assure us that everything is going to be just fine. Of course we witnessed precisely the same thing just prior to the great financial crisis of 2008. Federal Reserve Chair Ben Bernanke insisted that a recession was not coming, and we proceeded to plunge into the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression. Is our society experiencing a similar state of denial about what is ahead of us here in 2018?

Let me give you a few examples of some recent things that global economic leaders have said, and what they really meant…

—Tesla Motors CEO Elon Musk: “We are definitely not going bankrupt.”

Translation: “We are definitely going bankrupt.”

Tesla is a company that is supposedly worth 51 billion dollars, but the reality is that they are going to zero. They have been bleeding massive amounts of cash for years, and now a day of reckoning has finally arrived. A severe liquidity crunch has forced the company to delay payments or to ask for enormous discounts from suppliers, and many of those suppliers are now concerned that Tesla is on the verge of collapse…

Breaking Norms Will Renew Democracy, Not Ruin it

Hardly a day goes by without President Trump being accused of breaking a presidential norm or two, doing something that no president has ever done — nor, it’s implied, ever ought to do.

He tweets. He runs down the F.B.I., the intelligence community, his own attorney general. He makes fun of other politicians. He hires and fires cabinet secretaries, lawyers and communications people with abandon. He revokes a former C.I.A. director’s security clearance. He fails to disclose his tax returns. He picks his Supreme Court nominees from a list prepared by outside groups. He alternately threatens and sweet talks foreign despots.

Guilty as charged — but so what? All norms are not created equal. Hence breaking norms is neither good nor bad except as the norms themselves are good or bad. We elect presidents partly to separate the wheat from the chaff: to energize government by shedding or retiring norms that no longer serve the public good, and by adopting fresh ones that do.

Habits, conventions and unwritten rules of the road are, of course, important to American democracy. Our national government began life as a terse written agreement, the Constitution. Once it was ratified, the immediate task was to put flesh on the bare bones of Articles I, II and III, which called for three branches of a new government (the Congress, presidency and judiciary, respectively). This required, among other things, holding national elections for the House, asking the state legislatures to choose senators and firing up the Electoral College to name a president.

Once in office, however, these politicians had to figure out how to conduct themselves in their new roles. The Constitution left it largely up to them, by a combination of written laws and unwritten customs and habits, to develop the culture of constitutionalism that it needed to endure and to fulfill its promise of good government. The resulting formal and informal norms helped both to grease the wheels of government and to legitimate them over time.

The “founding” was about this secondary process of passing statute laws and establishing customs, almost as much as it was about devising and ratifying the Constitution. The Congress spent a month debating how to address the executive. “Mr. President” won out (John Adams had suggested “Your Highness” as well as “Your Most Benign Highness”). How many justices should sit on the Supreme Court? Five or six would do, Congress decided; but it remains free to change the number, and nine is now customary.

David Horowitz: Visa, MasterCard Cut Off Payments to My Think Tank Based on SPLC ‘Hate Group’ Label

The David Horowitz Freedom Center has had their donation processing system blocked by Visa and Mastercard allegedly following a campaign by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The David Horowitz Freedom Center stated in a recent email that its ability to accept donations by credit card has been disabled by both Visa and Mastercard following a campaign by the SPLC to label the Freedom Center as a hate group. This situation comes shortly after Robert Spencer of Jihad Watch was forced off the funding platform Patreonfollowing pressure from Mastercard.

More Muslim Candidates for Political Office

The proliferation of Muslim candidates may appear to some as positive and benign participation in American democracy by an emerging minority, but it cannot be denied that a Muslim plan to usurp American democracy has existed for decades. Careful scrutiny of this new wave of Muslim candidates yields a number with questionable backgrounds, motivations, and support groups, whose motives may be to implement the plan.

The plan to infiltrate and take over American democracy is explained in a 1987 strategic document, “An Explanatory Memorandum,” written and approved by the Muslim Brotherhood, a political organization with ties to the fundamentalist terrorist organization Hamas. The Muslim Brotherhood has itself been designated a terrorist organization by seven nations, including Egypt, where the Brotherhood began in 1928. The memorandum calls for the elimination of the U.S. Constitution and its replacement with an Islamic government under sharia law. It spells out its “process of settlement” as a “Civilization-Jihadist Process” to eliminate and destroy Western civilization from within. It calls for the establishment of political organizations designed to train and promote the Muslim Brotherhood goal of establishing the Quran as the sole authority for the Muslim family, individual, community, and state.

Several organizations — primed specifically to assist, support, and increase the number of U.S Muslim candidates for office — are affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood. They include the United States Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO), Project Mobilize, Jetpac Inc., and Emgage.

Pecker Emerges

My point, and I did have one, in placing the Michael Cohen plea agreement and related charges before readers here this morning, was to note “the trouble down the road for others,” as I put it. Now the Wall Street Journal reports that the the chief executive of the company that publishes the National Enquirer was granted immunity by federal prosecutors for providing information about Michael Cohen and Donald Trump in the criminal investigation into hush-money payments for two women during the 2016 presidential campaign. That would be one David Pecker. The excitement mounts. The tension rises.

It is not clear when Pecker received his grant of immunity. The Journal story notes: “Mr. Pecker’s assistance appeared to have informed the charging documents made public on Tuesday as part of Mr. Cohen’s guilty plea to eight criminal charges, including campaign-finance violations tied to the payments.”

Recall if you can that this is all a byproduct of the counterintelligence investigation into Russian tampering in the 2016 election. The investigation has been taken over by Robert Mueller with what seems to be a charter without limits. It will not come to rest until President Trump has been removed from office or succeeded in defeating the forces arrayed against his removal.

Whether or not Pecker’s cooperation is in the past or continuing, there is more to come.

San Francisco “Poop Patrollers” Make $185,000

We wish we could say this was a satire piece, but a new story in the San Francisco Chronicle reveals just how lucrative collecting s**t actually is.

It’s but the latest in a string of shocking revelations to hit headlines throughout the summer exposing how deep San Francisco’s crisis of vast amounts of vagrant-generated feces covering its public streets actually runs (no pun intended).

We detailed last week how city authorities have finally decided to do something after thousands of feces complaints (during only one week in July, over 16,000 were recorded), the cancellation of a major medical convention and an outraged new Mayor, London Breed, who was absolutely shocked after walking through her city: they established a professional “poop patrol”.

The Koch Brothers, Purveyors of Dark Money

History fails to record a single precedent in which nations subject to moral decay have not passed into political and economic decline. There has been either a spiritual awakening to overcome the moral lapse, or a progressive deterioration leading to ultimate national disaster. —General Douglas MacArthur

Humanism is not new. It is, in fact, man’s second oldest faith. Its promise was whispered in the first days of the Creation under the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil: “Ye shall be as gods.” —Whittaker Chambers

The billionaire Koch brothers are purveyors of Dark Money to politicians and entities they wish to influence in causes true constitutional conservatives would find appalling. Here is a list of 2016 candidates who received Koch funding. Some are influenced, some are not.

Just who are the Koch brothers and where is their Dark Money most persuasive? You will be surprised, but first let’s take a closer look at their beliefs and organizations, the latter of which cannot be covered in one article…

Koch is also on the board of Earth watch Institute, an environmental, sustainability, Agenda 21 group and the board of the globalist new age Aspen Institute formerly headed by now deceased new age environmentalist Maurice Strong. Strong, Club of Rome member, devout Bahai, founder and first Secretary General of United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP), was the driving force behind the birth and imposition of UN Agenda 21, now UN Agenda 2030.

Stem-cell research is supported by the Kochs and David also signed onto an amicus brief for the supreme court supporting gay rights and gay marriage. Running as the Libertarian Party vice presidential candidate in 1980, David Koch backed a platform calling for the full legalization of abortion.

The billionaire Koch brothers latest ad campaign for amnesty shows they are open border, mass immigration, and mass amnesty for illegal aliens, despite opposition from the American people. The ad pushes amnesty by using the words of the Washington, D.C. political establishment, which is unified not only on mass immigration, but also on endless free trade, and foreign interventionism. House Speaker Paul Ryan is with them. Koch money even supported Andrew Cuomo as Governor of New York, who has publicly stated, “America has never been great.”

Unhinged Student Beats Classmate Over the Head With Cleaning Tool in Second Nasty Attack This Week [Video]

What a crazy start to the week! We’re only two days in on a Tuesday and we already have two incidents of the youth becoming unhinged and committing acts of violence on people who are just sitting there doing nothing. The first incident was when a deranged father dared his daughter $100 to smack the Trump hat off of another kid. She did, but we’re not sure if the disrespectful and unhinged father really paid his kid or not. The next attack comes from a girl who is much bigger than the boy she is beating vehemently over the head with what appears to be a dustpan on the end of a broomstick.

The boy in the video is seen sitting in a chair. The girl is standing over him and she swings the dustpan very hard several times, knocking the boy in the head. He sits there and takes his beating. It seems like he was taught not to hit girls. On the other hand, it seems like the girl wasn’t taught much at all at home. We don’t know what transpired before this video, so for all we know it’s just a girl beating up a boy. We don’t know if he said something to set her off, but even if he did — should she attack someone in the classroom and completely disrupt the learning environment and risk suspension or worse? Is this how we’re taught to do things in school? Either way, here’s the video as shared by James Woods…

Watch Out California! 53 Major Earthquakes (Including a Magnitude 8.2) Just Hit the Ring of Fire in a 24 Hour Period

Is something unusual starting to happen to the crust of our planet? The USGS defines any earthquake of at least magnitude 4.5 as “significant” , and there were 53 earthquakes that met that criteria along the Ring of Fire on Sunday alone. If you would like to verify that information for yourself, you can so do right here. Not too long ago, I wrote about how “Earth changes” seem to be accelerating all over the world, but even I was stunned by the ferocity of the seismic activity that we witnessed over the weekend. Because none of the earthquakes happened in the United States, the mainstream media almost entirely ignored this story, but that is a huge mistake. The entire west coast of the U.S. falls along the “Ring of Fire” , and experts assure us that it is only a matter of time before the seismic tension that is building up along the tectonic plates in that area is released.

Much of the seismic activity on Sunday was near the small island nation of Fiji, and it is true that Fiji often experiences earthquakes because it sits directly inside the Ring of Fire…

“Why, when so many in authority knew the scale and severity of this crime, did it take until 2014, with the publication of the Jay report, for a large-scale investigation to occur? How many lives could have been protected if swift action had been taken a decade before?” — Sarah Champion, Labour MP for Rotherham.

Are You Serious?? Woman Imprisoned After Complaining About Noisy Mosque Near Her Home

She was 100% fed up and had tears pouring down her face as the officers lead her to jail thanks to the ruling by a judge who decided that she was more in violation than the disruptive mosque that she was complaining about. Just think — she’s the one who came in with the complaint about a public disturbance in her neighborhood, but she’s the one facing jail time. Funny how that works, right? Not so much!

Her name is Meiliana and she’s a 44-year-old Chinese woman who just wanted some peace and quiet. She complained that the mosque in her neighborhood was playing their call to prayer too loud and it was going on five times per day. In many neighborhoods, it would be considered a noise violation to constantly play something at higher than acceptable noise levels. In this case, the woman filing the complaint turned out to be the one in front of the judge. She found herself facing judge Wahyu Prasetyo Wibowo who decided that Meiliana would spend 18 months in prison based on her committing a so-called blasphemy law against the Islam religion. Thankfully this occurred in the North Sumatra area of Indonesia, where the Muslim culture is widespread, but this should not be happening anywhere. Residents of any town deserve to have a quiet neighborhood that isn’t disrupted by loudspeakers multiple times per day. All she wanted was some peace and quiet.

Indonesia Woman Irked by Mosque Noise Convicted of Blasphemy

An Indonesian court has sentenced a woman who complained about a noisy mosque to 18 months in prison for blasphemy.

Prosecutors said the 44-year-old defendant violated the criminal code by committing blasphemy against Islam, the dominant faith in Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim nation.

Mobs burned and ransacked at least 14 Buddhist temples throughout Tanjung Balai, a port town on Sumatra, in a July 2016 riot following reports of Meiliana’s complaint about a mosque’s noisy loudspeakers.

California Moving to Mandate Abortion Pills on Campus

If California politicians have their way, soon all of the state’s public universities will be forced to dispense abortion pills to students.

The politicians and the abortion industry that backs their election campaigns insist that turning California’s university student health centers into abortion centers means “progress.” But what it really means is serious problems for both students and the universities, not to mention the destruction of more human lives.

Remember the time when even those who supported abortion could admit that it was such a grave option that it should be “rare?” Now they want to make it as available as Tylenol.

The proponents of California Senate Bill 320 have omitted pertinent facts in an attempt to promote and normalize abortion for young people, and to get the dangerous RU-486 abortion pill onto campus.

Proponents have lied about the dangers of a medication abortion, lied about fetal development, and lied about the accessibility of abortions. They have also failed their students by refusing to offer other solutions to unwanted pregnancies.

Planned Parenthood’s website describes the medication abortion as “kind of like having a really heavy, crampy period.” This is not true. The reality is, the procedure is gruesome. Students who take the abortion pill will find themselves in communal dormitory bathrooms in labor, expelling their preborn child alone — often in severe pain and with heavily bleeding for days — with no direct medical supervision on hand. This is the reality of taking RU486.

[…]

According to the FDA, at least 22 women have died after taking the RU-486 regimen, and many others have had serious complications, with nearly 600 women experiencing such severe blood loss that they required transfusions.

At least one of California’s university systems, California State University, is reluctant to participate, and has rightfully expressed concern that its campuses are ill-equipped to deal with the risks of a medication abortion…

Internet Censorship: Running Wild

Free speech must include unpopular speech. In fact, if it doesn’t, then the very concept of free speech is rendered meaningless—as it has certainly become, in the minds of liberals. They try to shut down anything that they don’t want to hear, whether it’s true or not.

The free market will eventually generate alternative media platforms that do not ban unpopular opinions—but not in time for this year’s midterm elections. It looks like these media are trying to shut everybody up so that Democrats can win the elections and take over Congress.

But it’s not only on the Internet that leftids are trying to achieve “diversity” by allowing only one opinion.

UCLA has hired twenty “Diversity Peer Leaders,” at $13 an hour, paid for by mandatory student fees. And what does a Diversity Peer Leader do, for 13 bucks an hour? Apparently their function is to fight “toxic masculinity” and “microaggression” on campus—by ratting out any of their fellow students who might think this is all nonsense. You’ll have to be careful what you say on campus, or the Diversity Peer Leaders will brand you a “bigot” and derail your college career. They are a species of “community organizer,” a la Mao Tse-tung’s Red Guards; and at the rate things are going, we’ll one day find them off the campus spying on us at work or play—just to make sure nobody has the wrong opinion about anything.

Professor Who Complained About White People on Facebook Loses Appeal With Rutgers

A controversial Rutgers University professor who wrote Facebook posts complaining about gentrification in his neighborhood was found guilty of violating university policies late last month.

His appeal has now been denied, prompting the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education to write a letter to Rutgers demanding that it reverse its guilty finding.

In a press release Tuesday, FIRE said James Livingston was found guilty of violating Rutgers’s Policy Prohibiting Discrimination and Harassment, with possible penalties “up to and including discharge.” Livingston appealed, claiming that his posts were protected by academic freedom.

FIRE reminded Rutgers President Robert Barchi that he previously defended academic freedom two years ago, following the raucous riot against anti-feminist provocateur Milo Yiannopoulos.

The group also pointed out that the American Association of University Professors expressed “increasing concerns about efforts to intimidate and harass faculty.”

Livingston’s first post that drew attention read: “OK, officially, I now hate white people. I am a white people [sic], for God’s sake, but can we keep them—us—out of my neighborhood?”

The white professor continued to complain about “little Caucasian [redacted]” in the restaurant and concluded “I hereby resign from my race.[…]”

Facebook notified him that the post violated community guidelines. In a followup post, he wrote, “I just don’t want little Caucasians overrunning my life, as they did last night. Please God, remand them to the suburbs, where they and their parents can colonize every restaurant…”

  1. Brit women won’t have babies; Western Woman won’t have babies…..vacuums get filled.

  2. “a woman stripping out of her clothes until she is naked. … Performance artist Katharina Vogel then slowly begins to move about as passers-by wonder try and work out what is going on.”

So, the new art displays artistic talent through taking off your clothes and displaying a so-so body (to be generous).

The main offense here is sheer boredom. On the con side, nude street art provides employment, or at least distraction for, talent-free people wanting to label themselves as artists.

As an aside, the old Playboy used to create real art: it combined the results of a model taking care of her body physically, the creation of make-up artists, the physical layout of the studio, the technology of cameras, film and lights, and the ability of the photographer to integrate the technical details as well as coax and advise the model into creative poses. In other words, art is the combination of the use of technical details, an aesthetic talent, and the ability to create a new look or process.

  3. “A controversial Rutgers University professor who wrote Facebook posts complaining about gentrification in his neighborhood was found guilty of violating university policies late last month.”

Universities no longer even give the appearance of promoting the advancement of knowledge and thought. They are now more related to the mandarin academies of ancient China whose function was to teach Confucian thought and philosophy to students for the purpose of passing the exams required for service as imperial bureaucrats.

I wouldn’t care if a professor labelled whites as the scum of the earth, as long as the professor encouraged discussion and didn’t penalize students who disagreed. Students are there to consider new ideas and examine them from all viewpoints.

I think advanced education could be infinitely improved by withdrawing all public support from higher education. Colleges would then stand or fall on the service they provided to the students. We would then see just how competitive a university is that eliminates faculty for expressing unusual or even repugnant views on social media well separated from their university duties.

There’s a method to my madness, by the way. I would like to see universities teach the virtues of Western culture and the benefits of nationalism, and the consideration of racial homogeneity. So, a university (privately funded) has every right to filter the classroom views to which students are exposed. But, too sheltered an environment makes the students rigid and unable to adapt to new ideas. So, a real university will have to get the mix of freedom, controversy, and directed learning right. There’s no way you can do this as a public institution, subject to political controls.

  4. In other news, an ethnic Chinese woman in Indonesia was sentenced to 18 months in prison for blasphemy after she proclaimed about the loud noise coming from a mosque.
Didn’t you mean “complained” about the loud noise coming from the Mosque? It would seem that the noise from the mosque was proclamation enough. The poor lady found out that being Chinese in Indonesia is haram.

    • Whoops! Indeed I did mean that. A senior moment intrudes.

      Thank you. I’ve fixed it.

      • I was able to get the Russian machine translated but the URL is weird. So here goes with the Russian alphabet:

      • It was a complex text. Google and Yandex refused to translate it. The Russian language is the leader in non-printing vocabulary (50 shades for each word), but in our press this kind of obscenity is not written plainly. Along the way, I learned about the peculiarities of British customs regulations.

  5. Please consider the plight of Avi Yemeni.

Avi Yemeni is a conservative Jewish man who spent time serving in the IDF and currently lives in Australia.

He is being censored by Facebook for daring to express a conservative viewpoint.
