Milan Bourse Down, Spread Up Amid Turkish Lira Fears
he Milan FTSE stock exchange index closed 2.51% down on 21.090 points on Friday amid fears about the plunge in the Turkish lira. The bourse was 3% down at one stage in the afternoon.
UniCredit stock was under particularly heavy pressure. The Italian bank owns Turkish lender Yapi Kredi. It was 5.8% down at 13.60 euros, compared to its starting price of 14.46 euros on Friday.

6 Jewish “Godfathers of Payday Loans” Sentenced to US Prison for 780% Interest Racket
Six Jews—officially described by the US Department of Justice as part of a “godfathers of payday lending” gang—have been convicted and imprisoned for their role in a nationwide racket which included fraud, an illegal 780 percent interest racket, and the use of a California Indian tribe’s status to hide their criminal activities.
According to a press release issued by the US Department of Justice (DOJ), US Attorney William M. McSwain announced that Adrian Rubin, 61, of Jenkintown, was sentenced to 37 months’ imprisonment and three years’ supervised release, ordered to pay a $100,000 fine and $400 special assessment, and ordered to forfeit $9,621,800 in proceeds from his crimes.
“Rubin previously admitted to collecting unlawful debt from payday loans and helping his sons, Blake and Chase Rubin, orchestrate a multi-million-dollar telemarketing scam,” the DOJ statement said.
Adrian Rubin previously pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (“RICO”), one count of conspiracy, and two counts of mail fraud.
The RICO conspiracy charge arose from Rubin’s participation in a conspiracy to collect debt from so-called “payday loans”—short-term consumer loans that typically come due on the borrower’s next payday—that had annual interest rates exceeding 780 percent.

Charlottesville Rally Turns Into Anti-Police Protest (Videos)
When we originally heard that there was going to be a major rally in Charlottesville yesterday on the one-year anniversary of the bloodshed at the first Unite the Right march, there was obvious reason for concern. Would the same group of neo-Nazis and wannabe Klansmen show up again leading to a battle with counterprotesters? Antifa showed up early in significant numbers, claiming that they were simply there to honor the memory of Heather Heyer, the young woman who died when one of the Klan supporters plowed his car into the crowd. But taking one look at their outfits and equipment it seemed obvious they were prepared for more than a memorial service. Fortunately, law enforcement was out on the streets in large numbers, keeping an eye out for trouble and ready to respond.
Here’s the curious, if not alarming part of the story. The white supremacists didn’t show up. (They were probably already on their way to Washington.) But even stranger than that was the fact that most of the protesters didn’t seem to be there to raise their voices against the Klan or Nazis or racism. They were there to protest the cops…

Communist Radicals Turn on Police and Media in Charlottesville: ‘Cops and Klan Go Hand in Hand!’
The march to commemorate last summer’s Charlottesville rally was this weekend and it wasn’t pretty. It never is with communists and radicals. Black Bloc and Antifa were out in full force with their violence and hatred on display. It quickly devolved into cop-hatred. Just before the march, Antifa unfurled a banner that read, “Last year they came w/ torches. This year they come w/ badges.” This was to compare cops to white nationalists which is just obscene. “Why are you in riot gear? We don’t see no riot here,” Antifa members chanted Saturday evening. More than 200 protesters (actually it looked like way more than that) comprised of students, residents, communists, radicals and Antifa goons marched to another part of the University of Virginia’s campus, where many in the crowd shouted at officers in riot gear who had formed a line.
UVA Students United coordinator Kibiriti Majuto stated that students moved to another part of the campus because they didn’t want to be “caged” by police officers where they had planned to march. “How does that create a sense of community? How are we going to be safe in that situation?” he asked. Majuto claimed that the police “were not on our side” last year when white supremacists surrounded counterprotesters on the rotunda. “Cops and Klan go hand in hand!” he chanted. Looks to me as if the KKK are not the only racists here.

Those of us who seek news outside of the mainstream know who Nellie Ohr is. Fox News spent the past week inundating us with information about her. The question is: Why did they wait so long to broadcast data published seven months ago? Fox News treated it like a news alert — called it that, in fact.
It’s almost as if everything is being carefully timed to achieve a very secret objective.
Do the words “statute of limitations” resonate as the reason behind Robert Mueller’s, the FBI’s, the DOJ’s and Congressional Committees’ unreasonable delays? If truth can be delayed long enough, no one goes to jail because the statute of limitations comes and goes so no one can be prosecuted.
When a crime (with a few exceptions — like murder) is perpetrated, the authorities have a limited amount of time to catch and prosecute the offender. If the statute of limitations says the authorities have three years to solve and prosecute the crime, the perp can confess the day after the three year limit passes and cannot be prosecuted for it. The crime is “dead.”
The Obama administration, the FBI and Department of Justice have handled many of their responsibilities to department policies and to our Constitution with reckless disregard. If they delay things beyond the statute of limitations they cannot be prosecuted. Thus they get to maintain their fictitious record of upholding the Constitution against enemies, foreign and domestic, and all of the mafia-like characters who have caused this challenge to our Constitutional Republic — and they get to retire at taxpayer expense.
Who Is Nellie Ohr?
1. We know her husband is Bruce Ohr, fourth in command at the FBI at the time the phony Trump Dossier was created by Nellie Ohr and Christopher Steele for Fusion GPS.
2. We know that both Bruce and Nellie Ohr knew Steele before the Russia/Trump Dossier was plotted by the DNC and the Clinton campaign. We know Bruce Ohr was e-mailing Christopher Steele about it as early as January 2016.
3. Nellie worked at Fusion GPS. She (Dr. Ohr) is a recognized Russia expert and studied in the Soviet Union in 1989 before getting her PhD in 1990. She is said to be fluent in the Russian language and is an expert on cyber security (an unusual combination to say the least). Bruce Ohr is a Deep State husband. We know Nellie Ohr wrote the dossier for Fusion GPS and we know Bruce Ohr gave all of his wife’s writings about the Trump Russia delusion to the FBI.
4. According to a sworn statement by Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson, Dr. Ohr was hired to conduct opposition research on behalf of the Clinton campaign against presidential candidate Donald Trump…
5. Nellie’s Degrees include an A.B. from Harvard and Radcliffe Colleges, major: Russian History and Literature; and an M.A. and a PhD in History at Stanford University.
6. Professional experience: She taught history at Vassar College and has written numerous book reviews (almost exclusively about Russian history… she shows a great deal of sympathy for the dilemmas Stalin faced as he killed 40 million Russians to implement and expand communism in the USSR ).

Project Veritas has exposed how Twitter is using algorithms to ‘shadow ban a way of talking’. In the latest undercover Project Veritas video investigation, current and former Twitter employees are on camera explaining steps the social media giant is taking to censor political content that they don’t like.
This video release follows the first undercover Twitter exposé Project Veritas released on January 10th which showed Twitter Senior Network Security Engineer Clay Haynes saying that Twitter is “more than happy to help the Department of Justice with their little [President Donald Trump] investigation.” Twitter responded to the video with a statement shortly after that release, stating “the individual depicted in this video was speaking in a personal capacity and does not represent of speak for Twitter.” The video released by Project Veritas today features eight employees, and a Project Veritas spokesman said there are more videos featuring additional employees coming.
On January 3rd 2018 at a San Francisco restaurant, Abhinov Vadrevu, a former Twitter Software Engineer explains a strategy, called “shadow banning,” that to his knowledge, Twitter has employed:
“One strategy is to shadow ban so you have ultimate control. The idea of a shadow ban is that you ban someone but they don’t know they’ve been banned, because they keep posting and no one sees their content. So they just think that no one is engaging with their content, when in reality, no one is seeing it.”
Twitter is in the process of automating censorship and banning, says Twitter Software Engineer Steven Pierre on December 8th of 2017:
“Every single conversation is going to be rated by a machine and the machine is going to say whether or not it’s a positive thing or a negative thing. And whether it’s positive or negative doesn’t (inaudible), it’s more like if somebody’s being aggressive or not. Right? Somebody’s just cursing at somebody, whatever, whatever. They may have point, but it will just vanish… It’s not going to ban the mindset, it’s going to ban, like, a way of talking.”

Hacker Finds Hidden ‘God Mode’ On Old X86 Cpus
Some x86 CPUs have hidden backdoors that let you seize root by sending a command to an undocumented RISC core that manages the main CPU, security researcher Christopher Domas told the Black Hat conference here Thursday (Aug. 9).
The command — “.byte 0x0f, 0x3f” in Linux — “isn’t supposed to exist, doesn’t have a name, and gives you root right away,” Domas said, adding that he calls it “God Mode.”
The backdoor completely breaks the protection-ring model of operating-system security, in which the OS kernel runs in ring 0, device drivers run in rings 1 and 2, and user applications and interfaces (“userland”) run in ring 3, furthest from the kernel and with the least privileges. To put it simply, Domas’ God Mode takes you from the outermost to the innermost ring in four bytes.
“We have direct ring 3 to ring 0 hardware privilege escalation,” Domas said. “This has never been done.”
That’s because of the hidden RISC chip, which lives so far down on the bare metal that Domas half-joked that it ought to be thought of as a new, deeper ring of privilege, following the theory that hypervisors and chip-management systems can be considered ring —1 or ring —2.
“This is really ring —4,” he said. “It’s a secret, co-located core buried alongside the x86 chip. It has unrestricted access to the x86.”
The good news is that, as far as Domas knows, this backdoor exists only on VIA C3 Nehemiah chips made in 2003 and used in embedded systems and thin clients. The bad news is that it’s entirely possible that such hidden backdoors exist on many other chipsets.
“These black boxes that we’re trusting are things that we have no way to look into,” he said. “These backdoors probably exist elsewhere.”
Domas discovered the backdoor, which exists on VIA C3 Nehemiah chips made in 2003, by combing through filed patents. He found one — US8341419 — that mentioned jumping from ring 3 to ring 0 and protecting the machine from exploits of model-specific registers (MSRs), manufacturer-created commands that are often limited to certain chipsets.

The amount of website traffic that Facebook receives in the United States has “fallen by about half” since 2016, and it is anticipated that this decline in traffic will not end any time soon. Coincidentally (or perhaps not), 2016 also happened to be the year when the censorship of conservatives on Facebook really became noticeable. The events of this week made headlines all over the globe, but the truth is that Facebook has been an egregious censor of conservative viewpoints for a very long time, and it appears that it is really taking a toll on the company. In business, one of the golden rules is to never make your customers angry, but Facebook has chosen to make conservatives very angry over and over again. It was inevitable that many of them would begin to leave, and that is perhaps part of the reason why monthly page visits are down by about four billion over the past two years…
Four billion. That, according to a new study shared with CNBC by market research firm SimilarWeb, is how many monthly page visits Facebook has shed in a slow-drip but nevertheless huge decline over the last two years.
Facebook’s traffic hasn’t just fallen by about half since 2016, according to the study. Among the consequences of such a precipitous drop is the opening it’s given to YouTube, which the study’s data shows is about to overtake Facebook to become the second biggest site, traffic-wise, in the U.S. Which would give Google ownership of the top two spots, pushing Facebook down to number three.
I knew that Facebook had been losing traffic, but I didn’ t know that it had been that dramatic.
According to CNBC, the number of monthly page visits that Facebook has been receiving in the United States has plummeted from 8.5 billion two years ago to 4.7 billion today…

The media has ignored the horrible behavior coming from the far left goons at the first anniversary of the Charlottesville protests. Antifa, Black Lives Matter, Abolish ICE and Communist protesters took to the streets to cause chaos and violence (SEE VIDEO BELOW) but where was CNN reporting? ANTIFA Targets Police, Media at Toronto ‘Stop the Hate’ Rally
Antifa demonstrators who claimed to be marching to “stop the hate” of anti-Islamic extremist groups turned their anger towards police and media Saturday in Toronto.
The radical left groups came to the city’s Nathan Phillips Square even though the rally they had planned to protest had been cancelled, the Toronto Sun reported.
With no opponents to heckle, the demonstrators decided to focus their anger on Toronto police and news media present — particularly the Sun and its reporter on-scene, Sue-Anne Levy. Warsaw Readies for Massive Military Parade

In Furious Rant Erdogan Lashes Out at Trump: “We See the Game You’re Playing, We Dare You”
In the wake of the U.S. doubling tariffs on Turkish steel and aluminum on Friday which sent the Turkish lira and capital markets into free fall, Erdogan wrote a Friday New York Times op-ed cataloging his grievances and threatening to walk away from the decades-old alliance. “Failure to reverse this trend of unilateralism and disrespect will require us to start looking for new friends and allies,” he wrote. Meanwhile, while announcing the new sanctions aimed at Turkey, Trump tweeted his “analysis” of the situation: “Our relations with Turkey are not good at this time!”
The escalating war of words continued on Saturday, when speaking at a rally in the Black Sea town of Unye, Erdogan said that “it is wrong to dare bring Turkey to its knees through threats over a pastor,” and blasted “shame on you, shame on you. You are exchanging your strategic partner in NATO for a priest.” At the same time, Ibrahim Kalin, Erdogan’s spokesman, said that the U.S. is “facing the risk of completely losing Turkey.”
And if anyone was hoping that Erdogan’s temper would have cooled one day later with just hours left before FX markets reopen, they were sorely disappointed on Sunday when in his latest public address in the town of Trabzon, Erdogan doubled down on his belligerent rhetoric against the US once again, via Bloomberg:

100 Africans Attack Melbourne’s North-West Taylor’s Hill Suburb
A large gang of more than 100 Africans attacked the suburb of Taylor’s Hill in Melbourne, Australia, throwing rocks, smashing a police car and fighting with law enforcement officials in the latest outbreak of nonwhite violence to sweep that city since large-scale Third World “refugees” were allowed into that country.
According to a report in Australia’s The Age newspaper, “terrified residents” watched as the African gang gathered at a basketball court and complex in the suburb.
“Residents were told to stay inside, lock the doors, and also to park their cars off the road and in their garages if possible,” the report said.
A police spokesman said: “A number of projectiles, believed to be rocks, have been thrown and a police vehicle has been damaged.”
Riot police went to the scene and the police continued to patrol the area as the Africans—described as “Sudanese youths” were moved on a short time later, the spokesman said.
The report quoted one resident of Bronte Way who said that “more than 100 Sudanese youths had been across the road in the park and basketball court complex.”

North Korea unveiled Saturday that the Venezuelan president has sent a letter to the country’s leader Kim Jong-un to reaffirm his commitment to cement ties with the North.

Humanitarian Ship Seeks European Port for Rescued Migrants
ON BOARD THE AQUARIUS (Reuters) — Human rights groups called on European governments on Sunday to tell a charity ship where it can dock and let more than 140 migrants rescued in the Mediterranean disembark in safety.
The Aquarius, run by Franco-German charity SOS Mediterranee and Doctors without Borders (MSF), rescued 141 people in two separate operations off the Libyan coast last week.
The boat had just started heading north on Sunday towards Europe when Libyan coastguards called it back to pick up 10 migrants spotted aboard a small fibreglass boat.

The Indian government has stripped at least four million people—mainly “refugees” from Bangladesh who entered the country in 1971—of their right to Indian citizenship in the state of Assam and has started deporting them, all to “protect the ethnic Assamese” people.
The Assamese people are recognized as the indigenous people of the state of Assam, and because that state borders Bangladesh, it is a continuous target of illegal immigration from that latter country.
According to newswire reports, India’s registrar general has announced that four million people “who failed to produce valid documents had been excluded from a draft list of citizens in the northeastern state of Assam.”
Residents were asked to prove that they or their families lived in the country before March 1971, when a wave of “refugees” fleeing conflict in neighboring Bangladesh settled in the border state.
