Gates of Vienna News Feed 7/18/2018

In a London courtroom today, Tommy Robinson’s defense team presented their arguments against his continued detention. The three-judge panel was unable to reach a decision, and postponed the proceedings for further deliberation. The Lord Chief Justice, who led the panel, said that he hoped the matter would be settled by the end of the month.

In other news, the European Union has struck a deal with Macedonia to place border guards inside the country to prevent migrants from continuing further into Europe.

California Democratic Party Disses Feinstein, Endorses Commie Rival Kevin De Leon

Normally, I enjoy watching the left eat its own. I get a Corona and some popcorn and settle in for a good time. But when commies start snubbing their own in favor of uber commies, I get a bit more concerned than I am already. It’s not surprising because we are speaking of California here, but concerning nonetheless. Unless the big one hits soon, America is going have to deal with its own internal communist stronghold.

Fresh off Democratic Socialist of America member Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez storming New York and beating the Dem incumbent there — with the Republican candidate having almost no chance of winning — California Democrats are snubbing U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein in favor of state Sen. Kevin de Leon, her longshot Democratic challenger. He’s fresh, young and endorsed by Democratic Socialists of America as well as Democracy for America. De Leon is a big time open borders advocate and wants to abolish ICE. That was his ticket into the inner sanctum of the Democratic Party.

Feinstein had called on the party’s 360-member executive board to stay neutral in the race. They are turning their backs on the establishment Democrat here and have chosen De Leon as one of the new faces of the party instead. Her allies had warned an endorsement would create an intraparty squabble that could detract from important down-ballot races. What it will in fact do is finally lurch California into full blown communism. De Leon has been courting radicals and activists for a long, long time. He appeals to those in the party whose favorite color is red and who are seeking a fresh face and a more progressive senator to fight against President Trump.

For the last few weeks I have written that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is the new, communist millennial face of the Democratic Party. That she would lead a new wave of communists in the party as they rise up. People don’t seem to believe that. But it’s the reality on the ground now and De Leon is yet more proof of it. De Leon’s endorsement means that the state party will spend money promoting his candidacy this fall. He will campaign with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez… of that, I have no doubt. They will appear together with their fists in the air, speaking of a revolutionary resistance and violence will follow in their wake.

Don’t believe me? From the New York Times:…

Caroline Glick: Trump Was the Big Winner at Helsinki Summit

[…]

To understand just how significant Trump’s achievements in relation to Russia’s relations with Iran and its position in Syria are, it is important to notice where the U.S. stood in relation to both issues when Trump entered office.

During the Obama administration, the U.S. accepted Russia’s alliance with Iran in Syria and beyond. When Russia deployed its forces to Syria on behalf of Assad and Iran in 2015, then-President Barack Obama did not seek to constrain Russia’s actions. He did not try to limit Iran’s deployment in Syria. To the contrary, he presented Iran as an U.S. ally in the campaign to defeat ISIS in Syria and Iraq, even though Iran used that campaign to entrench its military presence and control in both countries.

More broadly speaking, Obama joined with Russia in enabling Iran to become a nuclear-armed state by concluding the nuclear deal with Iran in July 2015. The fact that Trump was able to convince Putin to support Israel’s efforts against Iran in Syria after abandoning the nuclear deal in May, despite Putin’s continued support for the nuclear deal, was a major achievement.

The second area where Trump achieved a major breakthrough in Helsinki is North Korea. It is far from clear that Trump’s effort to cut a deal with North Korea can survive Pyongyang’s latest anti-American diatribes and the evidence of its continued nuclear operations. But what is clear is that none of North Korea’s efforts could continue without Chinese support. Nuclear armed North Korea is China’s most powerful — and dangerous — proxy.

During the previous three administrations, Russia has consistently partnered with China in relation to U.S. multiparty talks regarding North Korea’s nuclear program. But during the Helsinki summit, Putin expressed strong support for America’s goal of denuclearizing North Korea.

It is certainly possible that Putin’s statement had little substance behind it. His actions in the coming weeks and months will make clear if that is the case.

But if Putin is serious about supporting U.S. efforts to coerce North Korea to denuclearize, his position could signal a weakening of Russia’s ties with China in favor of Russian-U.S. relations. It would be a sound strategic move for Putin. China represents a massive threat to Russia, and using ties with the U.S. as a means to check Chinese power would be a reasonable position for Putin to adopt. If Trump has in any way convinced Putin to even consider such a move, it would mark a massive geopolitical development on multiple levels. It would also mark Trump as one of the greatest American statesmen in history. …

This, then brings, us to the hysterical condemnations that Trump has been inundated with since Monday by the U.S. media, by former senior Obama administration national security officials, and by Democrats.

The very notion that a U.S. president commits treason by seeking a cooperative relationship with the head of Russia is absurd. Given the stakes of the two leaders’ relationship, it is also dangerous.

Statements accusing Trump of treason and calling for the military to overthrow him are terrifying. They demonstrate that Trump’s opponents are so obsessed with delegitimizing his presidency, and presumably with impeaching him that they are willing to risk a world war to achieve their domestic political goals.

When we consider the hysteria of Trump’s critics on the one hand, and Trump’s extraordinary accomplishments in Helsinki on the other, we need to be thankful that Trump was willing as he said, “to take a political risk in pursuit of peace,” rather than “risk peace in pursuit of politics.” The U.S. and the world benefited greatly from his courage.

Constitutional America is Indeed the Last Stand for Liberty on This Earth!

Many things bear repeating nowadays — everything worthwhile, anyway. Anyone, especially writers/commentators who are sharing their thinking, broadcast, quickly learn that at least two thirds of the audience they last had either weren’t listening or will have forgotten some of what was said by their next appearance.

America has been told by an empowered left to keep it mouth shut and lie down in front of the approaching train of an unprecedented ‘Americanism’ which the framers could only carefully caution us about. We are as a nation, RIGHT NOW, fatally becoming the factious mob those founders, in their prayerful foresight, had so lamented. But they knew — through a now extinct level of familiarity with history — the behavior of lazy, ignorant people left to govern themselves. And 21st century America perfectly distills the motive behind behind solemn warnings like, “Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty.” WE ARE THERE. And indeed most of us have not done our homework.

But there is something happening now that brings us to a circumstance that could only happen in our United States! Unlike Nazi Germany, we still have a plurality of armed and informed people who will not go quietly. And therein lie the formative conditions of a terrible danger that makes my head spin in just trying to grasp it: A great portion of our nation is truly not willing to walk into the trap that the left is currently trying to spring on our president and his disenchanted and burgeoning crowd of supporters. Simultaneously, and, again, unprecedented, is that many of us are interlaced and unusually dependent upon a predominantly leftist-owned ‘information highway’. Much of that highway is now beginning to, at the obvious prompting of the left, close down and divide the communication and ranks of anything even looking like solidarity amongst a largely Christian, conservative right. Fox News is on the block, and — for the right price — could at any moment become another CNN.

[Comment: Article title is 100% accurate — without such an America, world will descend into a globalist tyranny.]

FBI Reveals Explosive Details of Terror Conspiracy

The FBI just released details of what it describes as a “plan to accept money to fund a terrorist attack in the U.S. [that] was not a standalone plot—it led to the uncovering of a broader conspiracyinvolving an international ISIS financing network, shady shell companies, and a plan to develop weaponized drones for use by the terror group.”

The story was published after District Judge Ellen L. Hollander sentenced Mohamed Elshinawy, 33, of Edgewood, Maryland, to 20 years in prison.

James Comey Calls on ‘Patriots’: “Stand up to Trump!”

The former intelligence community seems to be rather offended that Americans continue to reject their evidence-less assessment that Russia meddled in the 2016 election. In fact, Russia has repeatedly denied such, and so far, other than some ridiculously worded social media ads laced with spelling and grammar errors, there hasn’t been much proof presented to the public. Unless you count the salacious and unverified dossier.

Making peace with Russia now is somehow a bad thing. What happened to the anti-war Democrats? It sure seems like being on good terms with another nuclear superpower is actually a good thing.

John Brennan, Former CIA and CNN & MSNBC Talking Head: “Donald Trump is a Traitor”

“Donald Trump is a traitor” for meeting with Russia’s Vladimir Putin — said Obama’s CIA Director whom allegedly converted to Islam as a student in Egypt, and as a adult voted for CPUSA — the Communist Party of the United States that was for decades cooperating, colluding and conspiring to overthrow the government of the United States. They had conspired to advance the interests of Russia only. They were the CPUSA with John Brennan as one of its members, not Donald Trump who was never a member, who committed sedition and treason among others in Barack Obama’s inner circle of friends and associates — including the Clintons.

CONSIDER A FEW FACTS:

That every American President has met with Russia’s leaders since Roosevelt is beside the point. The point being, no American president has ever refused to meet, speak with, or negotiate with Russia’s leaders.

That Ronald Reagan told the Russians in Berlin “Mr. Gorbachev, TEAR DOWN THIS WALL, is beside the point. For the left it never mattered that the Russians did tear the wall down and formerly imprisoned people were freed. They have bigger fish to fry: Freeing Mexicans to invade the United States.

Muslim Candidate for Congress Envisions New Civil-Rights Law Some Say Would ‘Loot’ Taxpayers

Rashida Tlaib, a 41-year-old attorney born and raised in Detroit by Palestinian immigrant parents, made history as Michigan’s first Muslim woman elected to the state legislature in 2008, winning two more terms after that. Portland Art Gallery’s Front Window Features Gruesome Image of President Trump’s Neck Being Slit

The left keeps showing their ugliest hand to American voters…and it’s backfiring on them…big-time! #WalkAway is about to become #RunAway

One Grand Gallery, an art gallery in Portland, OR has joined the hate-filled left with a vile image of President Trump’s neck being slit by what appears to be a man’s hand, covering the front window of their gallery. Accompanying the gruesome image, are the words, “F*** TRUMP”.

What a great scene for children walking by. This, apparently, is how the left is teaching our youth by example, how to be tolerant of others who don’t agree with you.

The people who believe these images are okay to place on a public street for everyone to see, are the same people who tell you what words you can or cannot say and demand that you use 127 different gender pronouns, so as not to offend anyone who identifies as a 3-year-old house cat with bipolar disease who identifies as a male.

They are Stacey Abrams (Georgia), Andrew Gillum (Florida), David Garcia (Arizona) and Ben Jealous (Maryland).

There Seems to be Growing Concern About Biological Attacks: What Do They Know That We Don’t?

One thing I have learned after being involved in alternative journalism for all these years is that coincidences often lead toward some concrete event. Recently, some coincidences I have noticed have been related to biological attacks.

It’s always rather subtle but there are definitely patterns that can sometimes lead up to large, horrifying events. Now, the good news is that this is not always the case. Sometimes, there are genuinely unrelated events that mean absolutely nothing. But, I still believe it’s important to pay attention, don’t you?

Last week, the FDA announced that they had approved TPOXX as the first drug to treat smallpox. Now, the FDA approves new medications all the time, but what makes this so interesting is the fact that smallpox has been completely eradicated. The last natural case occurred in 1977. It was eradicated through a vaccination program, but the vaccine proved dangerous.

It has the potential to cause serious, even deadly, side effects. And not everyone can receive the vaccine. As Peter J. Hotez, dean of Baylor College of Medicine’s National School of Tropical Medicine, told the New York Times, we can’t give the smallpox vaccine to people who are pregnant, H.I.V. positive, undergoing cancer treatments, or with other health conditions. (source)

Here’s what the FDA had to say about TPOXX in a press statement:…

It was announced last month that a man who arrested in Cologne, Germany was plotting a deadly terror attack.

The 29-year-old Tunisian man arrested last week in Cologne was creating a deadly biological weapon he intended to use for a terrorist attack somewhere in the country. Where exactly is still unknown, and is one of several issues still being scrutinized by investigators.

“There were very concrete preparations for such an act using, if you will, a biological bomb,” Holger Münch, president of Germany’s Federal Criminal Police Office, the BKA, told public broadcaster RBB. “This is a first in Germany.”

The Marxist Radicals Behind Anti-Trump Protests in England

The London branch of the Marxist Women’s March, which is closely allied to Black Lives Matter UK, was a prominent organizer of the anti-Trump protests last week, in addition to a group of far-left radical individuals and organizations seeking to ban President Trump from visiting England called the “Stop Trump Coalition,” which included several columnists from The Guardian and numerous Labour Party politicians.

One of the more prominent Stop Trump Coalition organizers is Marxist Nick Dearden, who advertised for anti-Trump protests on a podcast hosted in part by self-proclaimed “communist” Ash Sarkar, who gained international attention for telling Piers Morgan that she was a communist, earning her media adoration and kudos from Elle and Teen Vogue.

Watch the video:…

On February 1 2017, The Guardian posted a letter signed by the “Stop Trump Coalition” which incoherently ranted at President Trump:

The letter was signedby self-proclaimed “socialist” and columnist at The Guardian Owen Jones, British Labour Party politicians Shabana Mahmood MP, Ed Miliband MP, Tulip Siddiq MP, Claude Moraes MEP, Rushanara Ali MP, Caroline Lucas MP, Mhairi Black MP, David Lammy MP, Hywel Williams MP, Clive Lewis MP, Tim Farron MP, Melanie Onn MP, Bianca Jagger, and chair for “Abortion Rights” Kerry Abel (who spoke at the rally) to name a few (full list here) …

Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn and London Mayor Sadiq Khan were some of the leftists praised by the Marxist-Leninist “Workers World Party” in a favorable article about the anti-Trump protests.

Is there a difference between the mainstream media and the communist press?

UK: Judges in the Dock: Three Immigration Judges and Six Lawyers Appear in Court Over Plot to ‘Scam Legal Aid System Out of £12.6million’ — As One of Accused Slams ‘Racist Witch Hunt’

Immigration judge Kareena Maciel is among a group of lawyers charged over the alleged defrauding of the legal aid system

The prosecution of three judges for an alleged £12.6million legal aid scam was branded a ‘racist witch-hunt’ by one of their fellow defendants yesterday.

The judges and six other legal officials pledged to prove their innocence as they appeared in court for the first time.

Members of the alleged conspiracy repeatedly interrupted proceedings at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.

As they faced Emma Arbuthnot, the Chief Magistrate for England and Wales, one of the judges facing trial stood up to correct the prosecutor. Another then overruled his lawyer to insist he had no knowledge of the ‘extent of the claims’, adding: ‘That is very important.’

And in an angry rant, a co-defendant and former court clerk accused police of a ‘racist witch-hunt’, insisting: ‘It will all come out.’

The nine judges, barristers and other legal officials are accused of forming a corrupt ring who manipulated the publicly-funded system to line their own pockets. A total of £12.6million was allegedly claimed in a ‘large and complex conspiracy’, of which £1.4million was paid out in suspicious circumstances.

UK: London’s Police Fails to Record 100,000 Crimes Including Sex Offences

London’s Metropolitan Police fails to record over 94,500 reported crimes each year, representing 10.5 percent of all reported crimes, according to estimates by the policing and fire services watchdog.

Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector of Constabulary and Fire and Rescue Services (HMICFRS) found that officers were failing to accurately record crimes including domestic abuse and violence when they occurred alongside other crimes as well as some public order offences and low-level crimes.

Last year, the Met recorded over 800,000 crimes and the HMICFRS believes these near-100,000 annual missed recordings occur because officers did not “recognise” when crimes were committed or did not “understand” the need to record multiple offences when reported during police investigations.

“We believe that instances of crimes not being recorded generally occur when staff and officers do not recognise that a crime has been committed, or do not fully understand the need to record multiple offences disclosed during investigations,” the inspectorate found.

When auditing 1,369 reports of crime from the period 1 July 2017 to 31 December 2017, the HMICFRS found that 271 were related to domestic abuse and of these the force has recorded 230 — the remaining 41 not recorded “were mostly offences involving violence, such as actual bodily harm and common assault”…

China’s Debt Imperialism Behind Montenegro’s ‘Highway to Nowhere’

Chinese companies are hard at work on building a road through the mountains to connect Montenegro’s port city of Bar with Serbia.

The project is incredibly expensive, leaving Montenegro struggling to pay off titanic debt to Chinese financiers. Critics call it another example of Chinese debt imperialism: the slow-motion conquest of smaller countries through the “Belt and Road” infrastructure initiative by suckering them into taking loans from Beijing they will never be able to repay. …

Some Europeans are uneasy to find China’s debt imperialism strategy, so effective in places like Sri Lanka and Djibouti, reaching their doorstep in Montenegro. The Chinese are very good at exploiting local political and cultural trends to sell Belt and Road:

“This highway is a big deal in Montenegro. It reminds people of Tito and the days of grand socialist projects in the region,” said academic Mladen Grgic, referring to former Yugoslavia’s long-time communist leader Josip Broz Tito.

“But it’s a trap. Now that it’s been started, the politicians can’t stop it — no matter how harmful it might be. And frankly they don’t want to,” said Grgic, author of a 2017 study on the highway.

NATO Members Seek to Evacuate White Helmets, Resettle Them in Canada

Throughout much of the Syrian conflict, the exploits of the rescue organization that calls itself the Syrian Civil Defense, better known to Western media as the White Helmets, have been a source of constant controversy. Much of this controversy stems from their multi-million dollar funding from Western governments and their documented collaboration with terrorist groups such as al-Qaeda, all while purporting to be a local “first responder” organization with a neutral stance regarding the country’s conflict.

Yet now, following the recent success of the Syrian government’s campaign to rid southern Syria of both radical jihadist and foreign influence, the same Western governments that have long funded the White Helmets are seeking to evacuate their assets and resettle them abroad.

According to a report recently published in CBS News, several Western countries that have provided funding for the group — such as the Netherlands, the U.K., Germany and France — are now “scrambling” to evacuate the estimated 1,000 White Helmets and their families, claiming that they are “in danger of assassination” and “now in need of rescuing themselves.”

Specter of Communism: Chapter Eight: How Communism Sows Chaos in Politics (Part I)

As expounded in the beginning of this book, communism is an evil specter founded on hatred. Struggle and hatred are thus an important part of communist politics. While fomenting hate and division among people, communism corrupts human morality to usurp political power and erect its dictatorship. Turning people against each other is the primary means by which it does this.

The first chapter of the Selected Works of Mao Zedong is “An Analysis of Classes in Chinese Society,” written in 1925. It begins with the line: “Who are our enemies? Who are our friends? This question is the number one question in the revolution.” [12] The Communist Party arbitrarily creates concepts of class where before none existed and then incites these arbitrarily divided groups to struggle against each other. This is a magic weapon the communists use in their rise to power.

[The Epoch Times here begins serializing a translation from the Chinese of a new book, “How the Specter of Communism Is Ruling Our World,” by the editorial team of the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.”

The small Japanese city Iga, the birthplace of the ninja, is suffering from a dwindling resource: its ninja population is on the decline.

The city with a population of 100,000 (many of them ninjas, we assume) is not faring too well as a whole. Younger Japanese people are moving to larger cities and turning their backs on the ninja life.

Sally Herships recently reported Iga’s woes on an episode of NPR’s “Planet Money” podcast but also outlined the benefits of a ninja lifestyle.

Report: ‘One Belt One Road’ Created Major Chinese Immigration Mess in Kenya

The Chinese are in the country to build the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR), the largest infrastructure project in Kenya in the last half-century. It is one of the feature projects of “One Belt, One Road” (OBOR), Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping’s global project to get China to build railways, roads, and ports all around the world and later seize them, giving China control of nearly all the world’s transportation.

According to Reuters, the SGR “is eventually expected to connect Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan and Ethiopia to Mombasa so the Indian Ocean port can act as a gateway to East Africa for trade with China and other nations.”

China sold the project to Kenya — like it has many projects to African nations — by arguing that the railway will make transportation and commerce easier for Kenyans and the project itself would create thousands of local jobs. In practice, however, the Chinese have imported thousands of workers to Kenya to take those jobs and kept Kenyans employed in the project away from any skilled labor. According to the nation’s The Standard, the Chinese do not translate instruction manuals or guides, ensuring that the railway cannot function without a Chinese worker running it. …

Epoch Times Features Trevor Loudon on the Real Reason Democrats Want Illegal Immigration

“It’s nothing to do with compassion. It’s nothing to do with helping people from the Third World. It’s just creating a voting base for the left that cannot be beaten.”

Loudon said the push for illegal immigrant voters is behind much of the voter fraud and the fight against voter ID laws.

“Probably up to 5 percent of the electorate are illegal voters. And in most, elections are won by less than 5 percent, or many elections are,” he said.

“If 80 percent of the illegal immigrants voted Republican, I guarantee Barack Obama would have had the biggest fence on the border you have ever seen.”

Germany’s Dysfunctional Deportation System

A court in Gelsenkirchen has ruled that deporting a self-declared Islamist — suspected of being a bodyguard of the former al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden — was “grossly unlawful” and ordered him returned to Germany.

The case has cast a spotlight on the dysfunctional nature of Germany’s deportation system, as well as on Germany’s politicized judicial system, which on human rights grounds is making it nearly impossible to expel illegal migrants, including those who pose security threats.

Norwegian Stabbed to Death at Rural Supermarket by ‘Child Asylum Seeker’

An Afghan asylum seeker has been arrested after an 18-year-old Norwegian cashier was stabbed to death in an apparent random attack while working at a store in his tiny, rural hometown.

At just before 10 pm on Saturday night, police were called to an attack at the Coop supermarket in Vadsø, said local media, reporting that victim Håvard Pedersen was found with cuts to the throat, and declared dead shortly after emergency services arrived at the scene.

With the help of a private boat after the suspect jumped into the sea, police arrested a 17-year-old Afghan at just before 8 am on Sunday morning. He was questioned by detectives on Monday, when they told reporters it was “too early to say if the 18-year-old was a random victim”.

The Specious UN Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration

The text of the United Nations Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration was finalized last Friday, an inter-governmentally negotiated agreement prepared under the auspices of the United Nations to cover all dimensions of international migration. It will be formally adopted by UN member states at the Intergovernmental Conference to Adopt the Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration to be held this December in Morocco.

Although the Global Compact is not itself a legally binding document in a technical sense, since it does not constitute an official treaty or UN Convention, it establishes certain international norms regarding the governance of cross-border migration. Over time such international norms, especially if observed widely in many countries’ own legal systems, can become part of what international law experts call “customary international law,” which is often invoked by courts. In this way, the Global Compact can readily fit into the globalists’ strategy to use the judiciary as an instrument for bringing the U.S. Constitution and laws into line with “human rights” international norms.

The Global Compact commits its participants to implement 23 objectives, which include “providing basic services for migrants” and using “detention only as a measure of last resort.” Objective 13 calls for the use of “existing relevant human rights mechanisms to improve independent monitoring of migrant detention, ensuring that it is a measure of last resort, that human rights violations do not occur, and that States promote, implement and expand alternatives to detention, favouring non-custodial measures and community-based care arrangements, especially in the case of families and children.” Objective 13 calls for changes in existing domestic legislation, policies and practices to ensure that decisions to detain “are taken on an individual basis, in full compliance with due process and procedural safeguards, and that immigration detention is not promoted as a deterrent.”

UK Ethics Council Gives Green Light to Genetically Modified Babies

The Nuffield Council on Bioethics stated in a report this week that altering the DNA of a human embryo is not “morally unacceptable” if it is in the child’s “best interests.”

“It is our view that genome editing is not morally unacceptable in itself,” said Karen Yeung, chair of the Nuffield working group and professor of law, ethics, and informatics at the University of Birmingham.

“There is no reason to rule it out in principle,” she said.

In its new report titled “Genome editing and human reproduction: social and ethical issues,” the bioethics council said that new technologies have enabled “precisely targeted alterations to DNA sequences in living cells,” especially the CRISPR-Cas9 system that emerged in 2012.

  1. “The project is incredibly expensive, leaving Montenegro struggling to pay off titanic debt to Chinese financiers.”

This One Belt, One Road is the biggest con job since the South China sea “island building” the Chinese have pulled off. They are trapping small countries in debt then forcing them to make also sorts of concessions to the Chinese including political backing in international forums. The quality of the “development” these countries get in return is often rubbish.

  2. “It is our view that genome editing is not morally unacceptable in itself,” said Karen Yeung, chair of the Nuffield working group and professor of law, ethics, and informatics at the University of Birmingham.”

…some say that the ultimate reason why God destroyed the pre-flood civilisation was because they corrupted their genetics. And also, as in the days of Noah, so shall it be again.

      • I know that there is a huge degeneracy problem in the gene pools of all life. Evolution doesn’t work the way people imagine because mutations are inevitable and harmful. The real question is: Are people capable of undersanding what they are doing, when gene editing?

They may be able to compare separate genes and identify ‘bad mutations’, and clear them out. I agree with that. Nevertheless, right this morning there is an article in the Czech newspapers about a company that offers cloning of your dog or cat…

…and Pandorra opened the box and all kinds of ills and diseases and evils came out of it.
