Globalists Are Telling US Exactly What Disasters They’re Planning for the Economy

Years ago when analysts used the term “globalist, there was an immediate recognition among liberty advocates as to who they were referring to. This was back when the movement for small government, the non-aggression principle and true free markets was small but growing. These days, it’s difficult to gauge how many liberty groups there are or even if they know what small government and the non-aggression principle represent, let alone what makes a “globalist” a globalist.

There are a lot of new and very green members to the push for freedom, and a lot of them seem to think “MAGA” is the pinnacle of the movement’s philosophy. But MAGA doesn’t represent much of anything tangible. Making America great again is not a plan, it’s just a goal. Or even less, just a catch phrase. Without concrete plans, the notion of achieving a goal is laughable.

Make no mistake, the globalists have concrete plans, some of them simple, some of them rather elaborate. But who are the “globalists”? There’s really no secret to it: ANY person or institution that promotes the philosophy of global centralization of economic or political power into the hands of a select few is probably globalist…

What the globalists want, ultimately, is public acceptance and submission to their authority. They don’t want to have to operate from behind the curtain. They are narcissists. They don’t like hiding.

What are some examples of this behavior?

[Video] Flashback: SCOTUS Justice Ginsberg Trashes the US Constitution

In this flashback video which takes us back to 2012, current supreme court justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg trashes the United States Constitution: the very document that gave her a job and the “right” to “rule.” She’s talking about what the Egyptian people should expect when setting up a new government.

As the Trump administration prepares to nominate a new justice to the U.S. Supreme Court, liberals are probably wishing for nothing more than someone in the mold of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, writes The Conservative Tribune. Ginsburg was appointed by Bill Clinton and took her oath to uphold the US Constitution (she says is outdated) on August 10, 1993.

“I would not look to the U.S. Constitution if I were drafting a constitution in the year 2012. I might look at the constitution of South Africa. That was a deliberate attempt to have a fundamental instrument of government that embraced basic human rights, had an independent judiciary,” Ginsberg says.

Ginsberg ironically says she’s “operating under a very old Constitution,” yet she’s making decisions about laws and rules as an 85-year-old. As if the age of a document or a person is somehow important when it comes to what rights other humans outside of government have or what laws they should be subjected to based on opinions.

In remarks she made during a 2012 visit to Cairo University in Egypt, which had just undergone major changes from the Arab Spring revolution and the overthrow of Hosni Mubarak, Ginsburg did offer praise for the U.S. Constitution, but thought that the Egyptians should look elsewhere when they draft a new document instituting a ruling class that will lord over others, according to Fox News.

Alt-Left Melts Down Over “Unmasking Antifa” Act

It seems the new “Unmasking Antifa Act” has ruffled a few feathers among the alt-left.

Introduced in the House last month by Rep Dan Donovan (R-NY), H.R. 6054 is a response to a spate of violent attacks provoked by masked members of Antifa, and would punish anyone wearing a mask who “injures, oppresses, threatens or intimidates” a person “in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege” with a fine and up to 15 years in prison.

The law is effectively a modern take on anti-mask laws dating back to the mid-20th century in order to stop the violent activities of the Ku Klux Klan — and the left is predictably pissed.

Democrats Endorse Judicial Tyranny

It’s very clear that Democrats — the politicians, not all the people who vote for them — hate democracy. Democrats don’t believe that power is from the people; rather Democrats believe that the elites, which in the minds of Democrats is made up solely of Democrats, should rule the rest of us.

We can see this in the Democrats refusing to accept the results of the 2016 election.

We can see it in the Democrats enthusiasm for the administrative state where unelected, unaccountable, unfireable bureaucrats can create thousands of pages of rules and regulations which average Americans have to follow.

But we see it most clearly in the panic that Democrats are experiencing over the idea that Trump will be nominating someone to the Supreme Court who will decide cases based on what the law says rather than what they think the law should say.

EIA: U.S. Shortly to Become “The World’s Leading Producer of Crude Oil”

The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) proclaimed on Tuesday that, if its forecasts are correct, “the United States will average nearly 12 million barrels a day (mbd) … in 2019 … mak[ing] the U.S. the world’s leading producer of crude [oil].”

Those forecasts could understate the U.S. oil industry’s production, as it builds into its calculations the present bottlenecks of pipeline capacity, being experienced especially in the Permian Basin.

One month ago, IHS Markit, the global information marketplace, focused on what’s happening in the Permian Basin and concluded that, even with those bottlenecks currently slowing the flow of crude from wellheads to refineries along the Gulf Coast, it expects a “stunning” increase in production there between now and 2023

Emporia Man Charged With Shooting Into Independence Day Crowd on Virginia Beach Oceanfront

VIRGINIA BEACH — Police in Virginia Beach have made an arrest in the apparently random shooting of six people walking in a Fourth of July crowd near the Oceanfront.

Virginia Beach police spokeswoman Linda Kuehn tells news outlets that 21-year-old Ladarius Malik Trisvan of Emporia was arrested Tuesday. He’s accused of shooting into the crowd shortly after midnight on July 5th. Four men and two women were wounded.

Kuehn says police aren’t aware of a motive, and do not believe the six were targeted.

She says Trisvan was identified through surveillance video from local businesses. He’s charged with six counts of malicious wounding and six counts of using a firearm in commission of a felony. It’s unclear if he has a lawyer.

Gold and Silver Are Money Again in Wyoming

A law recognizing gold and silver as currency and legal tender without qualification is now in full effect in Wyoming.

The Wyoming Legal Tender Act (HB103) removed tax penalties from people who choose to use gold and silver specie as a currency of exchange.

Campaign for Liberty Chairman Ron Paul and Wyoming Campaign for Liberty State Coordinator Cathy Ide issued the following statements regarding the Wyoming legislature’s passage of HB 103: “Many thanks go to our bill sponsor, Representative Roy Edwards. His hard work on HB 103 and that of our dedicated grassroots supporters, led to an astounding 55-5 favorable House vote and 25-5 Senate vote,” said Ide. “As a result, Wyoming citizens will no longer be punished with any taxes simply for choosing to use gold as money, as laid out by the U.S. Constitution.”

How Smart TVs in Millions of U.S. Homes Track More Than What’s on Tonight

The growing concern over online data and user privacy has been focused on tech giants like Facebook and devices like smartphones. But people’s data is also increasingly being vacuumed right out of their living rooms via their televisions, sometimes without their knowledge.

In recent years, data companies have harnessed new technology to immediately identify what people are watching on internet-connected TVs, then using that information to send targeted advertisements to other devices in their homes. Marketers, forever hungry to get their products in front of the people most likely to buy them, have eagerly embraced such practices. But the companies watching what people watch have also faced scrutiny from regulators and privacy advocates over how transparent they are being with users.

Samba TV is one of the bigger companies that track viewer information to make personalized show recommendations.

Public-Sector Unions and Gifts of Public Funds

The Supreme Court’s decision in Janus v. AFSCME prohibits states from allowing public employee unions to dock non-union members’ wages to support collective bargaining and other political activities.

The ink had barely dried on that decision before experts began proposing workarounds. For example, First Amendment scholar Eugene Volokh and others suggest that states could reduce public employee salaries by the amount needed by the union to engage in collective bargaining, and then allocate that amount of public funds directly to the union.

On its face, this proposal seems plausible, because courts offer taxpayers little recourse in making First Amendment free speech challenges to public expenditures.

But there’s a big problem: all state constitutions contain a Gift Clause that prohibits the government from making a gift of public funds to a private organization. Originally these clauses were added to prevent states from gifting public lands to railroads, but recently taxpayers have made Gift Clause challenges to state funds provided to public employee unions.

Soros-Funded Nonprofit’s YouTube Channel Gets a Pass on Copyright Infringement Allegations

Right Wing Watch, a left-wing nonprofit aimed at exposing the “extreme agenda” of conservatives, owns a YouTube channel that consists entirely of other people’s videos, yet after several copyright disputes, YouTube has yet to delete the channel.

The nonprofit is owned by People For the American Way, which is funded by George Soros’ Open Society Initiative. The Daily Caller News Foundation review of the Right Watch’s channel found that of the almost 450 videos, not one of them appears to be its own original video.

This by itself would not be a problem if Right Wing Watch provided commentary to the clips they upload, but the channel is completely void of it. The videos are simply clips of other, many times copyrighted, videos.

The New Religion of the Left: Selectivity

The left of today are the founders of a new religion called selectivity. Every aspect of the left’s current extreme ideology involves being selective. Selective outrage, selective morality, selective media reporting, selective justice and selective “facts,” all have become the “go to” weapons of the radical left. All of the above are becoming vital characteristics one must exemplify if one is going to become a practicing member of this new leftist religious cult.

Every member of this leftist religious sect must take a solemn vow to always be selective when it comes to reporting on any kind of news, evidence or facts. All must be willing to advance the left’s radical agenda through any means necessary. Each member must learn to subscribe to double standards. Many of these cult members must learn to feign selective outrage on cue and even manufacture a crisis when necessary to aide their cause. The members must choose to exist within a life of illusion/delusion where perception and confirmation bias trump facts and evidence, and reality itself.

Sadly, the truth no longer matters to the modern day left. Their whole existence has basically boiled down to advancing a radical Marxist agenda, no matter what kind of damage it ultimately causes. Even if it means tearing down the country, dividing the citizenry and destroying Western Civilization. To the left, their nefarious ends will always justify their illogical means.

YouTube Debuts Plan to Promote and Fund ‘Authoritative’ News

Following a year in which YouTube has repeatedly promoted conspiracy-theory videos during breaking news events like the shootings in Parkland, Florida, and Las Vegas, the company announced on Monday a slew of new features it hopes will make news on the platform more reliable and less susceptible to manipulation. The company is also investing $25 million in grants to news organizations looking to expand their video operations, as part of a larger, $300 million program sponsored by YouTube’s sister company, Google.

According to YouTube executives, the goal is to identify authoritative news sources, bring those videos to the top of users’ feeds, and support quality journalism with tools and funding that will help news organizations more effectively reach their audiences. The challenge is deciding what constitutes authority when the public seems more divided than ever on which news sources to trust — or whether to trust the traditional news industry at all.

German Police Have Seized the Names and Banking Details of Donors to the Privacy Browser Tor

The names and bank details of European donors to the anonymous browser Tor and its associated operating system Tails are now with the German Federal police after coordinated raids on four homes and a lawyers office in Dresden.

German police produced a warrant to investigate the privacy activist group RiseUp after a left-wing blog called “Krawalltouristen” (ruckus tourists) used their anonymous email and VPN services to organise a protest of the far-right AfD party. Police were supposedly concerned that the protest could become violent.

However, police ultimately raided a separate organisation called Zwiebelfreunde under the auspices of a ‘tenuous’ financial link to RiseUp: a pretty vast overreach that enabled them to seize documentation from a range of internet privacy projects.

Zwiebelfreunde also handle European donations to Tor and Tails — the world’s largest anonymous browser and its sister operating system — and a blog post on the Tor website confirmed all their documentation relating to European donations was seized.

Riots: 3 Places All Hell Has Broken Loose in the Last Few Days

There are signs that white French bourgeoisie youth will join the violent protests, like Black bloc and Antifa.

In Nantes, a city in France, a battle has been going on between African migrants and the French police for days now, after the police shot a 22-year-old migrant named Aboubakar Fofana. The riots went on for 4 days but eased when relatives of the Aboubakar Fofana said they were filing a lawsuit.

Initially, police said that the victim was shot because he tried to run over a police officer with a car. Later, they admitted the shooting was in fact NOT self-defense, but an accident.

The worst of riots looked like a war between police and migrants.

Ouest-France reports:

The police forces were deployed massively in the neighborhoods of the rioters. They fired Molotov cocktails at Breil and Bellevue and responded with tear gas grenades.

In total, 35 vehicles were burned. To prevent a resurgence of fires, since last night, Friday, July 6, the Region has banned the retail sale of fuel and fireworks.

In the Breil district, the beginning of a fire hit a building of the Nantes Habitat social landlord. The damage, however, seems small: except for some traces of fire near the building, only a window is barred by a sign; the building is intact.

“Put your weapons, gang of assassins” or “you are going to be afraid in your houses” are the slogans that were launched to the CRS came to reinforcement in the districts. (source)

According to Zero Hedge, things are only going to get worse in France.

The GEFIRA team expect riots in France to become more and more violent and eventually lethal. Like most Western European societies and the US, the demographic change and the gradual replacement will come with a hefty price.

Italian Coast Guard Intervenes in Migrant Rescue ‘To Save Crew’

Italy intervened in a migrant rescue by a private Italian ship this week after migrants reacted to attempts to hand the operation over to Libyan authorities by threatening the crew, the vessel said.

The Vos Thalassa took 67 migrants, including six children, onboard on Sunday after responding to a distress call off the Libyan coast.

Conflicting reports

Several local and international media reports said the ship was denied permission to dock in Italian ports because of the migrants, marking the first time the government had turned away an Italian vessel.

The migrants were then handed over to the Italian coast guard, the reports said.

However, international shipping company Vroon, which operates Vos Thalassa, an oil rig supply vessel, told Euronews that the ship “never requested to enter an Italian port or even Italian territorial waters.”

‘Severely outnumbered’

Vroon said that when the vessel turned to meet with the Libyan coast guard to transfer the migrants, they “started to threaten the crew, surrounding and pushing them and making ‘cut your throat’ gestures.”

“Because of these threats the vessel returned to its position and reported this situation to the MRCC [Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre] in Rome.”

The shipping company said being “severely outnumbered on board a merchant vessel by an angry crowd that has very little to lose is very frightening”.

“We are very proud of the professionalism of our crew in these very challenging circumstances.”

The Italian coast guard echoed the claims in a statement to Euronews, saying the commander of the ship “reported a situation of serious danger for the security of the ship and its crew… caused by attitudes threatening the crew by some migrants”…

Italian Coast Guard Ship to Arrive in Sicily With 67 Migrants Aboard

The Diciotti, an Italian coast guard ship with 67 rescued migrants on board, is due to arrive in Sicily on Wednesday evening after the government refused entry to a private vessel carrying the same people.

Those aboard were rescued at sea by a civilian boat, the Vos Thalassa, which became the first private Italian-owned and Italian-classed ship to be turned away from Italy because it was carrying migrants.

The Vos Thalassa remains in the Mediterranean, while the people onboard were transferred into the coast guard’s care on Tuesday after their behaviour put the tugboat’s crew at risk, according to Italian Transport Minister Danilo Toninelli.

Mexico’s New Leftist President ‘Builds a Wall’ On Southern Border to Thwart Illegal Immigration

Mexican President-elect Andre’s Manuel Lopez Obrador intends to create a new border-police force to fight illegal immigration, drug trafficking, and illicit firearms trafficking from Central America, his incoming chief of public security Alfonso Durazo, told Bloomberg in an interview Monday.

Durazo indicated that the new border-police force would be part of a much larger regional effort to reduce poverty and violence that plagues so many Central American countries, which ultimately leads to a flood of families crossing into Mexico. He said the new police force will be sizeable and deployed to Mexico’s southern border. Durazo declined to offer more specifics to Bloomberg, but he noted that the police force would be used to secure the northern border as well.

[Comment: Take a look at Mexico’s laws regarding illegal aliens. Note how they want USA to have open borders and illegals, but do the opposite for their own country.]

Supreme Court Orders Spain to Take in More Refugees

MADRID (AFP) — Spain’s Supreme Court has ordered Madrid to take in more refugees after ruling it had not honoured its EU commitment to accept least 16,000 asylum-seekers from Italy and Greece, it announced Wednesday.

“More than six months after the deadline expired, a report by (Spain’s) Office for asylum and refugees recognises that the current track record with respect to its final obligations is below 13 percent,” the court said in a ruling dated July 9 but released on Wednesday.

As a result, Spain must “continue the procedure” to take in refugees, the court added, but stopped short of fining the government.

Pedophiles Believe They Should be a Part of the LGBT Community

Pedophiles are rebranding themselves as ‘MAPs’ or ‘Minor Attracted Persons’ in an effort to gain acceptance and be included into the LGBTQ community. According to Urban Dictionary, the blanket term MAP includes infantophilia (infants), pedophiles (prepubescent children), hebephiles (pubescent children), and ephebophiles (post-pubescent children). Some MAPs also refer to themselves as NOMAPs or “Non-Offending Minor Attracted Persons”. These pedophiles seek to be a part of the LGBTQ+ community, even going so far as to make a “Pride” flag for Gay Pride Month.

The “MAP/NOMAP community” tries to pull at people’s heartstrings by claiming that pedophiles are misunderstood marginalized people, and that as long as their attraction to children is not acted upon — or in some cases when they get permission from the child — that they should not be villainized. Sites such as “The Prevention Project” claim to be aimed at helping children, posting quotes like the one below, reminiscent of testimonials of struggling gay youth, under headlines like “everyone needs support”.

School District Refuses to Permit Parents to See LGBT Videos Students Were Forced to Watch

In a Pennsylvania school district, after roughly 2,800 students were forced to watch LGBT videos during LGBT “Unity Week” in April, parents and conservative activists asked the district to provide links to the videos so they could see what their children had watched.

The answer they got: no.

As The Christian Post noted of Principal Kate Kieres of Emmaus High School, where the videos were shown, “Despite parents’ requests to see the videos, Kieres stated that the school board solicitor has advised that ‘these videos cannot be sent to you, because they are part of a student project.’“

In June, parents of students and the president of the state’s chapter of the American Family Association objected at a school board meeting. The religious freedom law firm Liberty Counsel sent a letter on June 22 to the superintendent of the East Penn School District asking for the links to the four videos the students saw at Emmaus High School. As The Christian Post noted, “The videos were part of activities organized for ‘Unity Week’ and the nationwide ‘Day of Silence’ sponsored by the national LGBT lobbying group GLSEN. The four videos that were shown to students were sponsored by the school’s Gay Straight Alliance club.”

In the June 22 letter, attorney Richard Mast threatened a lawsuit under the state’s “Right to Know” law if the school didn’t cough up the links to the videos and all emails sent to the principal or the school’s GSA adviser revolving around the issue.

Mast wrote, “It does not pass the straight face test for the District to claim it need not provide parents with the actual video links, although the District required more than 2,800 students to view these videos, with no prior notice to their parents, and no opportunity to opt-out. This is a gross violation of parental rights. The links to the videos are public records, notwithstanding claimed ‘selection’ of the videos by the ostensibly ‘student-led’ Gay-Straight Alliance (‘GSA’) as part of an alleged ‘student project.’ It would be convenient indeed if school districts could bypass all public records laws and parental notice and consent requirements for objectionable content, by finding a willing ‘student group’ to ‘select’ the material for them.”

Another Data-Leaking Spectre CPU Flaw Among Intel’s Dirty Dozen of Security Bug Alerts Today

The new Spectre-class side-channel vulnerability in Intel’s processors, to be disclosed today, can be exploited in a bounds-check bypass store attack. This means malicious code already running on an Intel-powered computer can potentially extract passwords, cryptographic keys, and other sensitive information, from other running software threads by altering the flow of speculative execution.

Despite the word “store” in the attack, no actual code or data in memory is altered. However, as far as the CPU’s speculative execution engine is concerned, function pointers and return addresses are overwritten in the attack, allowing the malicious code to change the CPU’s course, and infer the contents of memory that should be out of reach.

This can be done by speculatively overwriting variables and other temporary values, or by speculatively overrunning buffers by tricking the processor into speculatively executing more iterations of a loop than anticipated. Even memory that should be read-only can be speculatively written to in order to potentially perform side-channel extraction of data. Vulnerable code can be as trivial as…

If I Could Show You What Communism is

Communism has morphed into a more powerful and insidious global movement that attacks and brainwashes the population through schools and bogus global warming.

This is a wake-up call for young and old Americans, wearing Che Guevara t-shirts, Mao’s hammer and sickle t-shirts, holding “I support socialism” posters, and proudly displaying Hillary and Bernie bumper stickers, the ole Bernie who hates capitalism so much that he accepts political donations from evil capitalists, drives expensive cars, and owns and lives in pricey homes most of his supporters cannot afford.

If I could show young people today what communism is, those clamoring for socialism and communism to be brought to American shores, those who are tired of capitalism because they are so fat and happy, they want the challenge of poverty and want, the challenge of the communist code-speak of “social justice” and “egalitarianism,” I would send them to Cuba, Venezuela, and North Korea for a few months so that they could experience first-hand what the utopia they see as paradise is like.

If I could show young Americans the rotten socialist countries that illegal aliens have fled, the same illegals who are now giving us the finger, burning and stomping our American flag, boldly waving their flags, the total disaster they have made of their countries, while demonizing our successful America that generously put them on welfare ahead of our veterans, perhaps you might see reality.

The Meaning of Good and Evil in Perilous Times

Perhaps the most destructive idea ever planted in the minds of the general public is the notion that nothing in this world is permanent — that all things can and must be constantly changed to suit our whims. The concept of impermanence fuels what I call “blank slate propaganda.” The usefulness of the blank slate as a weapon for social control should be explained before we examine the nature of good and evil, because these days it infects everything.

The push for never ending social “evolution” has been called many things over the decades. In the early 1900s in Europe it was called “futurism;” an art and philosophical movement that helped spawn the rise of communism and fascism in politics. The argument that all old ideas and longstanding traditions should be abandoned to make way for new ideas, new technologies, news systems etc., assumes that the supposedly new ways of doing things are superior to the old ways of doing things. Things are rarely this simple, and in most cases the new methods so proudly championed by movements for social change are usually recycled and repackaged old ideas that are notorious for failure…

In psychological terms, the characteristics of high level narcissists and sociopaths match most closely with our historic concept of evil. And, in my view, most great evils done in history are in fact done by people with multiple narcissistic traits. As far as global elitists are concerned, they represent a rather insidious threat, because they are narcissistic sociopaths that have organized into a predatory gang, so all the traits consistent with the behavior of your average serial killer are now magnified a thousandfold by their access to unlimited resources…

They always seem to have “minions” to do their dirty work for them and attack those that oppose them. People that have dealt with narcissistic sociopaths in their personal lives sometimes refer to these minions as “flying monkeys,” referencing the flying monkeys enslaved by the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz. Flying monkeys are essentially useful idiots that the narcissist employs through fraud and sometimes through pay. Whenever the narcissist is under threat of being exposed, they unleash their flying monkeys onto the streets or onto the internet to undermine truth tellers.

We Live in a Lying, Lustful, Larcenous Fantasy World of Illusion

“We live in a fantasy world, a world of illusion. The great task in life is to find reality.” — Jean Iris Murdoch, British Novelist, 1919-1999

Just about every piece of human information we receive in our lives, whether written, verbal, or visual, comes with a hint, or a blatant blast of bias, or an unvarnished lie. What we think we see and hear is as Jean Iris Murdoch says, is a “fantasy world of illusion.”

The news is not the truth, it is a perversion of the truth, or an outright fabrication wrapped around some kernel of the truth. In most cases the news comes not only with a hidden bias but a not-so-hidden agenda, usually a political one.

History is not the truth. History is some person or group of persons’ perception of the truth, colored by individual biases and life experiences and usually based on too little information. Much of history is so lacking in detail as to render its depiction as nothing more than an outright distortion, or half-truth. Nevertheless, we accept it as truth and pass it on to others verbally or in writing, even though the conclusions drawn there from are most likely inaccurate at best and maybe totally false at worst.

Such is our dilemma today. The Progressive ideology has been so ingrained in our daily lives and all of our institutions that we cannot think that any other ideology is viable. Thus, we have the Progressive ideology so embedded in the masses’ way of thinking that the masses resist any other way of thinking and do so vehemently and sometimes violently. Examples of Progressive oppression and violence abound.

To not comply with them is tantamount to subversion and insurrection, or even treason. Facts are irrelevant and only their agenda matters. Alarmingly, their actions and behavior are disturbingly reminiscent of the three major planks of the Nazi Party:…

  1. “he wants them to raise their contribution to 4% of GDP. ”

2% I believe the target is. The maddening thing for the Euros is they know Trump is right.
As he pointed out, they want NATO to protect them from Russian, but it’s to Russia they run to for their oil and gas. If Russia is a potential enemy then, having the pipeline shut down is a major risk. They can’t have it both ways.

    • I don’t think there is any reasonable alternative to Russian supply at the moment, probably not into the medium term either.

My question is the ongoing territorial and military escalation with Russia. Though I am not in a position to judge it fully, my impression is that the west shunned a direction of deeper peace and integration with Russia, opting for a more expansive and reclamatory stance, which Russia has reacted to. The stupidity is that NATO will not fight a conventional war with Russia, it would be (is) proxy or apocalyptic, so the increased military spending is for something else, for some other scenario, but not direct confrontation with Russia.

So you only have to look at the current conflict map (outside of Ukraine) to understand where a larger NATO would really be deployed.

      • Indeed; at the time of 9/11, Boris Yeltsin called President GW Bush to say he was cancelling Russian military exercises (including aircraft) so the US would have one less thing to worry about. I believe it was shortly afterwards that NATO assured the Russians it had no plans to expand into former Soviet territories/ Warsaw Pact members…

  2. Russia wants security, as throughout her history she was attacked both from the West and from the East. She tries to build a neutral zone around itself… that’s what is going on the last 300 years. Is this so difficult to understand. Now our US friends wink that a dozen or two – or why not 100 altogether – of NATO nuclear missiles within 500 km of Moscow or Petersburg are …well just sort of a practical joke. Fireworks for the 4th of July.

    • perfectly right,T.Ross.
And if Germany is a ” captive of Russia” when buying natural gas from them, am I then a captive of my local supermarket? Some few american presidents were apparently more in their frat houses than at the library to read about history and foreign policy.

  3. Let me get this in here somewhere before I forget it again….

Let’s ASSUME there’s a God, an all powerful, all knowing, etc., being.

God, being eternal, didn’t create things for some identifiable reason (no need). And, God speaks many languages in many places (not just once on Mt. Sinai).

For humans (and other living things) to know which way to go, it’s necessary to know what God is saying, which saying is wisely latent to avoid some going off in a bad direction.

It’s up to the right-minded to bother to try to grasp what God is saying.

Now, in all this migration and/OR terrorism and/OR political stuff and/OR collapsing communications, etc., what is God saying?

    • I like listening to the crickets singing around me, the trees moving in the wind.

A desert is so quiet you cannot escape it, the steady thunder of heavy surf forgets all else so that you remember it for always.

The human voice that when it speaks reminds us what we are, or a distant bell that all alone beckons to discover.

These are the things I listen to.

      And you ?

  4. The paedophiles rebranding themselves to get acceptance into the LGBT community by saying they do not act upon their thoughts are just like terrorists. If they get accepted and one of them acts upon their sick thoughts it will be the same terrorist saying, it’s a one off, we are not all the same. These sick headed people are the scum of the world and should be castrated, not medically but physically.
If the LGBT community allow them to attend on their never ending pride marches then they should be held responsible. No doubt they will demand the right to march and lefties will allow them. All of them should be held accountable if just one child is approached.

  5. This is a video on likely UK police brutality

    https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/footage-shows-moment-andre-moura-14902395

for “suspected breach of the peace”, seems a small domestic argument but I won’t judge for now.

The victim André Moura looks muslim in the mugshot right? He may be, but I am not so sure of that – there are many half caste ( varying origin) Portuguese, and the Portuguese like their beards too. Add to that that the Portuguese are a republic, i.e. there have been several events here where locals stand their own against the police – they don’t all much like over policing. His (white) “average” neighbours testify he is a kind person.

There have been several stories of Portuguese getting picked on, sometimes older reputable Portuguese also, in the UK. Well you hear the guy’s screams in the video and judge what they have done. This really sucks for expats because the locals in other countries take events like this personally…even so I’m still still thankful not to be in UK.
