47 Groups Weighing SPLC Lawsuit Warn ‘Editors, CEOs’: ‘You Are Complicit’ In Hate Group ‘Defamation’

On Wednesday, no fewer than 47 nonprofit leaders maligned by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) — many if not most of whom are considering a lawsuit against the organization — warned a vast array of executives and leaders that if they parrot the SPLC’s damaging “hate group” labels, they would be “complicit” in “defamation.”

“Editors, CEOs, shareholders and consumers alike are on notice: anyone relying upon and repeating its misrepresentations is complicit in the SPLC’s harmful defamation of large numbers of American citizens who, like the undersigned, have been vilified simply for working to protect our country and freedoms,” the signatories wrote.

The letter followed news — broken at PJ Media — that no fewer than 60 organizations are considering suing the SPLC following a groundbreaking settlement in which the organization formally apologized to a Muslim reformer, Maajid Nawaz, for branding him an “anti-Muslim extremist.”

Romney Makes Final Pitch to Voters Ahead of Senate Primary

AMERICAN FORK, Utah (AP) — Mitt Romney is flashing his familiar smile at city parks and backyards in Utah’s mountains and suburbs this week, making his final pitch after being forced into a Republican Senate primary Tuesday against a conservative state lawmaker.

His opponent has painted him as an outsider who can’t get along with President Donald Trump, but Romney has quieted his once-strident criticism.

“I’m not someone who’s going to be a daily commentator on everything the president says by any means, but if there’s something of significance that the president says or does, I feel a moral obligation to express my own view,” he told The Associated Press in an interview at a Utah restaurant where heads turned and people stopped to ask for photos.

Romney predicted earlier this month that Trump would win re-election in 2020. He hasn’t endorsed him, though, and declined to do so this week, saying it’s too early and he expects Trump to have an as-yet-unknown challenger for the Republican nomination…

Czechs Hit Back Against EU Crackdown on Legal Gun-Owners: ‘Free Countries Don’t Disarm Their Citizens’

Czech president Milos Zeman has put his name to a petition opposing an EU diktat which would clamp down on legal gun-owners and backed a constitutional amendment which would guarantee citizens’ right to keep arms for self-defence and protection of the homeland.

The directive on tightening control of firearms under the guise of counter-terrorism was approved by the European Parliament in mid-March, and would see the Czech Republic — which combines comparatively liberal gun rights with low levels of crime and extremely low levels of terrorism — forced to impose new restrictions or face sanctions from Brussels.

Left-Wing Terrorism Still Active in Greece, Europol Report Finds

Greece, and to a lesser extent Italy and Spain, are the only countries in the European Union still facing the threat of left-wing violence, Europol said in its annual “Terrorism Situation and Trend” (TESAT) report.

According to Europe’s law enforcement agency, “left-wing and anarchist terrorist groups and individuals continued to have enhanced operational capabilities and access to military-grade weapons” in Greece in 2017, during which a total of eight attacks were carried out.

Stonehenge Builders Used Pythagoras’ Theorem 2,000 Years Before Greek Philosopher Was Born, Say Experts

The builders of Britain’s ancient stone circles like Stonehenge were using Pythagoras’ theorem 2,000 years before the Greek philosopher was born, experts have claimed.

A new book, Megalith, has re-examined the ancient geometry of Neolithic monuments and concluded they were constructed by sophisticated astronomers who understood lengthy lunar, solar and eclipse cycles and built huge stone calendars using complex geometry

One contributor, megalithic expert Robin Heath has even proposed that there exists a great Pythagorean triangle in the British landscape linking Stonehenge, the site from which the Preseli bluestones were cut in Wales, and Lundy Island, an important prehistoric site.

TV Blackout for Erdogan Opposition as Turkey Vote Looms; Goldman on What to Expect Tomorrow

Presidential and parliamentary elections will be held concurrently in Turkey on Sunday, with the results likely to start emerging on Sunday evening. In the presidential election, opinion polls suggest that President Erdogan is likely to fall just short of the 50% required to win in the first round (implying a second round run-off on July 8). In the parliamentary elections, opinion polls also point to a close result, with a high probability that the incumbent AKP-led Cumhur Alliance could lose its majority.

Ten Days After Trump-Kim Summit, Hard Work is Yet to Begin

After flying back to Washington last week, seemingly giddy with success, US President Donald Trump (r) tweeted “There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea” — a bold claim with Kim Jong Un’s arsenal still in place (AFP Photo/SAUL LOEB)

Washington (AFP) — The landmark summit between President Donald Trump and Chairman Kim Jong Un ended with a North Korean pledge of “complete denuclearization,” but 10 days on no timetable for action has emerged.

After flying back to Washington last week, seemingly giddy with success, the US leader tweeted, “There is no longer a Nuclear Threat from North Korea” — a bold claim with Kim’s arsenal still in place.

But senior US officials admit there is much work to be done as negotiators thrash out the details of what they hope will be Pyongyang’s “complete, verifiable and irreversible” disarmament.

Many observers were disappointed that the short statement of intent signed by the two leaders did not more clearly define denuclearization, fearing Kim plans to keep his hard-won deterrent.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has angrily insisted that the term “complete” in the document includes the concept that denuclearization will be “verifiable and irreversible…

Mexican Retaliatory Tariffs Target Republican Areas in the United States

President Trump recently imposed tariffs on steel and aluminum from Mexico. Mexico retaliated by imposing tariffs on certain exports from the United States.

However, there’s more to it than that.

Mexico’s recently-announced retaliatory tariffs were specifically imposed on products produced in Republican areas of the United States.

Germany to Cause ‘Chain Reaction Across EU’: Austria Fires Warning as Merkel on Brink

Heinz-Christian Strache yesterday cautioned frazzled Angela Merkel, who is desperately battling to maintain her trademark open-border policy despite Horst Seehofer threatening to pull out of their coalition partnership should she keep Germany’s floodgates open.

Should the German Chancellor refuse, her entire government would collapse and the country could experience a surge in immigration similar to the 2015 epidemic, which saw Germany welcome in more than a million migrants from Africa and the Middle East.

Mr Strache said: “It can’t come to a renewed wave like the one seen in 2015 again.”

He then vowed that like Italy and Hungary, Austria will do everything in its power to deter immigration into the country.

Italy Says ‘Arrogant’ France Risks Becoming ‘No.1 Enemy’ On Migration

MILAN (Reuters) — Italy on Saturday said “arrogant” France risked becoming its “No.1 enemy” on migration issues, a day before European leaders convene in Brussels for a hastily arranged meeting on the divisive issue.

In answer to comments by French President Emmanuel Macron, who said migration flows towards Europe had reduced compared with a few years ago, Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister Luigi Di Maio said Macron’s words showed he was out of touch with reality.

“Italy indeed faces a migration emergency and it’s partly because France keeps pushing back people at the border. Macron risks making his country Italy’s No.1 enemy on this emergency,” Di Maio wrote on his Facebook page.

Macron said European cooperation had managed to cut migration flows by close to 80 percent and problems stemmed from “secondary” movements of migrants within Europe…

Reuters ‘Fake News’ Spins Pope Against Trump

In one of the most egregious cases of journalistic deception in recent memory, Reuters has spun Pope Francis to literally say the opposite of what he said regarding President Trump and immigration.

Veteran pope-spinner Phil Pullella, who famously lured Francis into calling Trump a non-Christian in 2016, was back to his old tricks, trying futilely to get the pope to criticize the U.S. president. Having failed to do so, Reuters simply went with the story anyway, carefully selecting which papal quotations to insert in the story and which to omit to back up their pre-conceived narrative.

An outraged world is fuming over the new Time magazine cover photo showing President Donald Trump standing tall, looking superior over a tiny “refugee” girl at his feet, her head down and sobbing, who (the photo implies) had been torn away from her parents during Trump’s handling of the refugee crisis.

Those of us who made inquires learned that this little girl is NOT a refugee and she has parents. She was never separated from her parents!

  1. Apparently USA has deported over 5000 Imam cubs to Iran and blocked their accounts ($148 billions). The news is going viral here, but the main source of the news deleted it after a few hours (the page and title exists but it’s blank now). I cannot find anything in English yet. Either Federal Treasurer prefers to conceal the details or the news is fake. I hope it’s true. Finally something good happened.

    Expert warns: The Islamisation of a country can no longer be stopped if Muslim population reaches 16%

    picture: https://tinyurl.com/ybn6hlmf

    According to a Harvard University study, the Islamisation of a country cannot be stopped once the Muslim population reaches 16 percent of the total population. This is what Islam expert, Nikoletta Incze, said on 22 June, on Hungarian public television.
    Incze is a researcher at the Centre for the Study of Political Islam, a foundation of American Islam critic Bill Warner, which is active in several countries.

    The interview
    https://www.hirado.hu/kulfold/cikk/2018/06/22/nem-mutat-ellenallast-az-.
    iszlamizacioval-szemben-europa/
    .
    with the Islam expert was broadcasted as part of a morning magazine report that focuses on the spread of Islam in Europe and bears the title “Islamic Advance – Already 44 Million Believers in Europe.”
    At the beginning of the conversation, Nikoletta Incze points out that many countries that are Islamic today were originally Christian, for example Turkey, Egypt and Syria.
    .
    In other countries as well, Islam supplanted the previous religion: Pakistan was Hindu, Afghanistan was Buddhist, Iran was dominated by Zoroastrianism.
    Mohamed and his successors subjugated these countries militarily and Islamised them. Islamisation was a process that took centuries. The question arises at what point it was decided that Islam would prevail in these countries.
    Nikoletta Incze cites a study by Harvard University. According to her, the Islamisation of a country is already inevitable, when the proportion of Muslims of the population is about 16 percent. It will take another 100 to 150 years before the Islamisation is complete.
    .
    Currently, Nikoletta Incze sees an Islamisation of Europe. However, there is a big difference with the Islamic expansion in the Middle Ages: at that time one would have resisted.
    .
    Today, Muslims are treated with tolerance and acceptance instead. Treat Islam as an equal religion ignoring political ideology.

    https://voiceofeurope.com/2018/06/expert-warns-the-islamisation-of-a-country-can-no-longer-be-stopped-if-muslim-population-reaches-16/

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Hungarian named Nikoletta Inczel now says that 16% Muslim population in a country is all that is needed to completely turn the nation into Islam.
    At this point you cannot stop Islamicization and eventually there will be 100% Muslism.
    Turkey, Syria and Egypt was mentioned as an example of former Christian countries wich were forcibly turned into Islam.
    Pakistan was originally Hinduian. Afghanistan was Buddhic. Iran was Zarathustran. Now there is only Islam.
    It will take 100 years to become completely Islamic once the Muslim population reaches 16%.
    • and this will not happen by conversions but rather by sheer demography: when western people create two generations with one or two children, THEY create three in the same time and with more children.Just do the maths. Their growth is exponential.
  3. .
    addendum:
    How many Muslims live in Sweden?
    This question can not be answered du to authorities have stelthed the question. They prohibit registration of people’s religion in the population records.
    The last census where citizens were asked to state religious affiliation was carried out in 1930 – then 15 persons declared that they were Muslims.
    In 2016, the Pew Research Center estimated that around 810,000 persons in Sweden are Muslims, which corresponds to 8.1 percent.
    Since then, another hundred thousand have been added, so we can probably expect that at least 10 percent of Sweden’s population confesses to Islam.
    It is not important whether or not they are practicing Muslims, you do not have to pray five times a day to consider belonging to Allah’s chosen people.
    According to Pew Research, Sweden will have the highest proportion of Muslims in Europe in 2050. If Muslim immigration continues unabated, 30 percent of “Swedes” will call themself Muslims in no more than 30 years.
    • Thanks for the collection(s) of information you’ve made regarding Sweden’s perilous condition…are ethnic Swedes moving away? Does the government track the outflow? Are they simply moving to the other Nordic countries?
  4. A few weeks ago the center-right government in Spain was replaced by a left government.
    Since then the Aquarius was accepted and the “refugee” smugglers know that hey will be well received there. The only possible problem for them may be that Morocco and Algeria were not bombed into becoming a failed state as Libya and Tunisia.
    I’m sure the lefties in Spain will be eager to have the country enriched and the NGOs will have a field day.
    • If the EU passes its execrable internet censorship bills, places like Unity News will be put out of business.
      Had Hillary been elected, we’d be facing the same thing. In fact, private companies like FaceBook and Google (owns YouTube) already practice this kind of censorship.
  5. JNS.org reports: South African Jewish leaders condemned “alarming” amount of anti-Semitic attacks this week.
    According to the South African Jewish Board of Deputies, there has been a flurry of anti-Semitic and threatening attacks made against South African Jews both on social media and in face-to-face encounters in recent days.
    On Thursday, a video showed passengers awaiting their luggage from an El Al flight into South Africa being verbally abused, and called “wicked Jews.” A mural with a Germany flag, with a swastika inserted in it, also appeared in Johannesburg. There have also been increasing anti-Semitic rhetoric online as well in recent days, the South African Jewish group said.
  6. A psychiatric expert has claimed one in six people with psychosis in Britain would never have developed it if they had not smoked cannabis.
    Professor Robin Murray, an authority on schizophrenia at King’s College London, said about 50,000 people were now diagnosed as psychotic solely because they used the drug while teenagers.
    Many had no family history of psychosis and would have had no risk of developing the disease if they had not smoked high-strength cannabis, he claimed.
    Professor Robin Murray said one in six people with psychosis in Britain would never have developed it if they had not smoked cannabis.
    • The problem is “high-strength cannabis” aka “skank”, as referred to in your third paragraph.
      As with heroin, the best practical solution is to legalise and control the drugs, including strength (and tax them like alcohol and tobacco), taking distribution out of the hands of the criminal gangs. Prohibition (of alcohol) was a disaster in the US; we now face an even more vicious enemy which can never be defeated by other means. See the frequent references to knife and gun crime here in London.
