Gates of Vienna News Feed 5/15/2018

Last night an “Oklahoman” named Taheerah Ahmad bound and gagged her three daughters, stabbed one of them multiple times, and then set her house on fire. The youngest daughter helped one of her sisters escape to a neighbor’s house where she called the police. By the time the police arrived, the mother had fled with the youngest child. The daughter who was stabbed is in the hospital in critical condition.

Police found Ms. Ahmad today in downtown Tulsa. The youngest daughter was unharmed. Her mother reportedly told police that she had found two of the sisters reading a book, and that made her angry.

In other news, a local TV station in Minneapolis has uncovered a massive welfare scam by Somalis that has funneled more than $100 million in cash out of the country.

Authorities Say ‘Intentional Detonation’ Triggered Explosion at California Medical Building

An explosion at a medical building in Orange County, Calif., on Tuesday was caused by an “intentional detonation,” federal investigators told NBC Los Angeles .

One person died and at least three were injured after the explosion at the Aliso Viejo medical building. The explosion led children at a nearby daycare to flee and a bomb squad was at the scene, authorities told NBC.

Bomb squad investigators and FBI agents are looking into what caused the blast but authorities said there was no lingering threat, according to NBC.

A fire that broke out in the building, which was under construction, was put out by crews, NBC reported.

Initial reports of the explosion claimed a car crashed into the building around 1 p.m. and that the explosion was not considered suspicious.

However, Orange County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Carrie Braun said no car was involved in the explosion and there is an investigation to find out what caused it, according to NBC.

Edgewood Shooting Suspect Found Guilty of Lesser Charge in Delaware Shooting

Radee Prince found guilty of attempted manslaughter in 2017 shooting

WILMINGTON, Del. — Jurors returned a guilty verdict Tuesday in the first prosecution stemming from October’s office park shooting in Edgewood.

Radee Prince, 38, is accused of shooting six people at Advanced Granite Solutions in Edgewood and at a car dealership in Wilmington, Delaware. He’s first being tried in Delaware.

The shooting victim, Wilmington businessman Jason Baul, ducked out of Delaware Superior Court after the jury found his childhood friend, Prince, guilty of attempted manslaughter, reckless endangerment and three weapons charges.

Baul was shot five times inside his Wilmington car dealership. Two bullets remain in his body, half of his face is paralyzed and he’s learning how to eat again. Baul testified Wednesday morning, and the jury saw surveillance video of the shooting.

Prosecutors said Prince is facing eight to 89 years in prison at sentencing and that Baul just wants to put this all behind him.

“He’s looking forward to moving on. He’s been through a lot, obviously, and he wants to get on with his life, understandably,” Deputy Attorney General Mark Denney said…

Mother Arrested, Child Found Safe After Tulsa Stabbing

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Tulsa police on Tuesday arrested a woman who they say bound and gagged her three daughters, stabbed the eldest repeatedly and set their house on fire.

Police said a patrol officer found 39-year-old Taheerah Ahmad around midday in a vehicle in downtown Tulsa. Ahmad was taken into custody and her 7-year-old daughter who had been reported missing was found safe, police said.

Investigators said that following her arrest, Ahmad told them she became upset after observing two of her children reading a book. It was not immediately known what book they were reading, police said.

Ahmad was booked into the Tulsa County Jail on complaints of assault and battery with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, child abuse and first-degree arson.

Tulsa police officer Jeanne MacKenzie said earlier that the 7-year-old girl helped her 9-year-old sister escape Monday night, and the 9-year-old ran to a nearby house for help. MacKenzie told the Tulsa World that when authorities arrived, they found an 11-year-old girl with so many stab wounds that emergency responders “couldn’t even count them.” The house was on fire, and Ahmad and the youngest girl were missing.

The middle child told police that their mother placed socks in their mouths, bound their hands with duct tape and began stabbing the eldest child, MacKenzie said.

The 11-year-old remained hospitalized Tuesday and police said she was unconscious and that her condition was “very severe.”

Short Circuit: The High Cost of Electric Vehicle Subsidies

Many claim that “zero-emissions vehicles” (ZEVs), especially battery-powered electric vehicles, should replace most, if not all, cars and trucks powered by gasoline-burning internal combustion engines. The primary rationale is to reduce air pollution and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

To effect this change, governments are spending billions of dollars to subsidize electric vehicles. These subsidies include state and federal tax credits for purchasing ZEVs and programs to subsidize the installation of vehicle-charging infrastructure in businesses, households, and along highways. Several states also have mandated the sale of ZEVs. For example, an executive order signed by California governor Jerry Brown in January requires 5 million ZEVs to be on the state’s roads and highways by 2030.

Will these subsidies and programs accomplish their objectives? And at what cost? A review of the literature finds few cost-benefit studies on these key questions.

Key Findings

Broad-based adoption of ZEVs will increase overall emissions of sulfur dioxide, oxides of nitrogen, and particulates, compared with the same number of new internal combustion engines. The simple fact is that, because of stringent emissions standards and low-sulfur gasoline, new gasoline-powered cars and trucks today emit very little pollution, and they will emit even less in the future.

While new ZEVs will reduce CO2 emissions compared with new internal combustion vehicles, the overall reduction will be less than 1% of total forecast energy-related U.S. CO2 emissions through 2050. That reduction will have no measurable impact on world climate—and thus the economic value of CO2 emissions reductions associated with ZEVs is effectively zero.

Subsidies for ZEVs and the required infrastructure to support them benefit the higher-income consumers who can afford to purchase them at the expense of lower-income consumers who cannot. In California alone, the total cost of ZEV subsidies, including federal tax credits and state rebates for ZEV purchases, as well as subsidies for private and public charging infrastructure, is likely to exceed $100 billion.

Tulsa Mom Stabbed 11-Year-Old Daughter, Abducted Younger Sister: Police

(TUSLA, Okla.)— Police in Oklahoma are searching for a woman who allegedly torched her home and stabbed her 11-year-old daughter on Monday before taking off with her 7-year-old daughter.

Authorities responded to the home of Taheerah Ahmad, 39, in north Tulsa, Oklahoma, on Monday night after witnesses reported the stabbing. Police arrived to find the home’s kitchen on fire and the 11-year-old in critical condition, suffering from multiple stab wounds, authorities said.

One of Ahmad’s other children, a 9-year-old who managed to escape to a relative’s home, told police that her mother had “duct taped their hands, put socks in their mouths” and began stabbing her older sister, police said.

She said she broke free to call for help, but her mother had already fled the scene with her 7-year-old sister, Hafsa, by the time help arrived, according to police.

“The story that we received was that the 7-year-old helped the 9-year-old escape the residence,” a police spokesperson told reporters Monday. “This is very fluid. It’s moving very fast and we have a traumatized witness who has given us information.”

The 11-year-old was taken to a local hospital and was listed in critical condition, according to the spokesperson, who said the child “was stabbed so many times that the officers” couldn’t count the number of wounds…

Netherlands: Fortuyn’s Freed Killer Seeks to Move Abroad

The killer of flamboyant far-right Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn Tuesday asked a court to quash a requirement that he must report to police regularly so he can move abroad.

Volkert van der Graaf urged the court to lift one of the key terms of his 2014 release, which means he must report to police every six weeks, the Dutch news agency ANP said.

Van der Graaf, 48, was jailed for 18 years for the 2002 cold-blooded shooting of the outspoken and openly gay Fortuyn, an act that shattered the liberal Netherlands’ image of itself as a unified and secure society.

He shot the hugely popular Fortuyn, 54, in the head just days before elections in which the Pim Fortuyn List (LPF) party was expected to make major gains on the back of an anti-immigration ticket.

Lawyers for the Dutch state said they had no problem with van der Graaf moving abroad, but insisted he should still report regularly to police.

His lawyer said van der Graaf wanted to move to a new country as he “wants to build a new life elsewhere in the world. He cannot find a paid job here.”

It was not clear where he wanted to move to, nor whether he would be accompanied by his partner and child. The court will hand down its verdict on May 29.

Van der Graaf was also banned afer his 2003 trial from having any contact with Fortuyn’s family, and from talking about the case to reporters.

Widely seen as the forerunner of today’s Freedom Party (PVV), led by controversial rightwing politician Geert Wilders, Fortuyn labelled Islam a “backward culture” and called for Dutch borders to be closed to immigration.

UK: Grooming Victim’s Father Receives Death Threats

Do you remember the case of Lucy Lowe? She was the young girl who was allegedly a victim of grooming in Telford. Her accused abuser, Azhar Ali Mehmood, is currently serving a ‘life’ sentence for burning down Lucy’s home. The fire killed Lucy, who was pregnant with her second child, along with her mother Eileen and her 17-year-old sister Sarah.

This was in the year 2000 — not that long ago in the grand scheme of things. Mehmood was ordered to serve at least 18 years behind bars for his crimes, and he will be considered for release on parole after October 2019.

Not only is it terrifying that this man, who murdered two teenage girls and their mother, is up for release — but now the father of Lucy Lowe is receiving threats for speaking out about the grooming his poor child suffered.

In an article published back in March (obviously something that slipped through my radar) it was reported that the father of Lucy Lowe, George Lowe, has begun receiving threats for speaking out about grooming.

Iran’s Nuclear Deal Was Doomed From the Start

Even if the nuclear deal had survived, its sunset clauses and Iran’s ballistic-missile program meant a new strategy was necessary.

On May 8, President Donald Trump announced that he would reimpose sanctions on Iran, the lifting of which was at the heart of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), the so-called Iran deal. Was Trump right? Absolutely, and for a number of reasons.

Too many nonproliferation experts and supporters of the deal too quickly dismissed Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s revelation of a secret Iranian nuclear archive as irrelevant, showing nothing new, or proof that the JCPOA actually worked. Such a position only shows that, for these organizations, subjective politics trumps objective analysis. At the very least, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and perhaps other signatories to the JCPOA must methodically go through the archive. No assessment can be made sight unseen. What is certain, however, is that precedent suggests that the archive itself is a violation. After all, when South Africa forfeited its nuclear program in 1991, the IAEA did not allow it to keep blueprints for a nuclear warhead. It makes perfect sense to suspend sanctions waivers until such a time as that review is complete…

Julian Assange’s Protection Reportedly Cost Ecuador Millions

The Ecuadorian government has apparently spent quite a bit of money protecting Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. According to a report at The Guardian, the country had the full assent of the Ecuadorian president and foreign minister to “protect” Assange via “Operation Guest,” which sources say had an average cost of at least $66,000 per month.

Documents from the Ecuadorian intelligence agency, Sanain, show that the total cost of what came to be called “Operation Hotel” ran $972,889 for the year period between June 2012 and August 2013. The agency hired an international security company, according to documents obtained by The Guardian, to secretly film and monitor the embassy in London where Assange lives. The company also placed a 24/7 two-person security team in a nearby apartment at £2,800 per month. In addition, said The Guardian, the team recorded every detail of Assange’s daily life, including his interactions with his legal team, embassy staffers and any other visitors, all of which had to pony up their passports upon entering the embassy.

In America: Distinctly Different Parallel Societies Being Imported

“Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any faith, but to become dominant. The Qur’an should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.” Omar Ahmed, director of Council on American Islamic Relations.

In recent weeks, Ann Corcoran, director of www.RefugeeResettlementWatch.wordpress.com, shared an interview with a Somalian immigrant in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Somalian made some sobering, if not dangerous and disturbing predictions as to the future of America.

Ironically, you and I pay for Somalian existence here in America with lifetime welfare. Why? They lack educational skills because they drop out of school and lack the intellectual horsepower to learn trades, skills and any abilities to function in a first world nation. The average IQ of an American stands at 100. The average IQ of a Somalian stands at 68 or, barely able to function above basic third world levels. (Source) They lack any in interest in becoming Americans, but they don’t mind brutally exploiting our welfare systems.

In Minneapolis, Somalians, at 120,000 of them, created what Americans in the area call, “Somaliland.” It’s totally distinct and antagonistic to American society.

“Get with the program, miss,” he said harshly. “We are here to stay. We never left our Somali heritage or culture. That’s what America is missing. Please stop forcing us to your ways. You’re old and have very old ideas. Get with the program. I’m trying to have my son to be the first Muslim black governor of the state of Minnesota in next 20 years. He’s gonna run as a Democrat. Oh, and on those upgrades at Cedar Riverside.

The Somalian continued, “They better give us those upgrades and changes if the mayor wants to earn our votes. Or else we can always get another Mayor next time around. You see how being an American works? I told you lady please get with the program because Somalis are the latest addition to black folks.

“Why should we assimilate? Do you know how stupid you sound? Guess what? We’re here to stay and will transform America for the better. Get that through your thick, ignorant skull. You need to see a doctor. It’s inevitable that Somalis will be taking over and there isn’t anything you can do about it. Again, what’s wrong with Somalis taking over? It is inevitable! This land doesn’t belong to either of us. It is our time to populate it and rule it. Go back to Europe or wherever you’re from if you don’t like it.”

When populations rise, they get cocky. The Quran guides them as they build their Hyjhra or “seeding” of themselves into any host country with one goal on their minds: conquest.

  1. “Tulsa Mom” – what “Tulsa Mom”, this is a Muslim Monster “Mom” from Hell that happened to live in Tulsa. And regarding the book the kids were reading, am I the only one 99% sure that this was a Christian book? But don’t bother, guys, the psychologists/psychiatrists will come up soon with statements that the bloody murderess was “mentally disturbed” and her motives are completely psychotic (and there is a great possibility some of them will be called Ashraf, or Ameena, or Burhanuddin, or Ubaidulla, or some other beautiful American name).

  2. The EU now looks like the Wizard of Oz behind that curtain. It’s great to watch the Brits, Poles, Hungarians and Italians finally revolt against these insidious, power hungry Marxists who live to create despair.

  3. Oil and gas producing regions of the Urals and Siberia attract radical Islamists like a magnet. There’s been a lot of disturbing news from these places lately. Will Putin’s oligarchs Wake up?

In the evening on May 4, in the city of Lyantor, OMON officers raided several cafes and detained several dozens of people who were resting there, mostly Muslims. In a collective complaint addressed to the district authorities, it was said that the officers responded with foul language to people’s questions about the reasons for the detention and beat them with an electric shock. Representatives of the Muslim community complain not only of physical violence, but also of humiliation: in one of the cafes, according to the authors of the complaint, the detainees were allegedly forced to lie on the floor and simulate swimming.

Those who had a beard cut it off, and some were set on fire.

    • Good idea, to set the filthy mops of a beard on fire… or at least to cut them. The bearers of these ugly vegetations already hate us deeply and sincerely… and respect only violence and power.
