Gates of Vienna News Feed 5/13/2018

According to a recent survey, young men in Sweden are twice as likely to be killed in gun violence as the rest of their European cohort. The difference is ascribed to the rapid growth of violent youth gangs in Swedish cities.

In other news, the French government is seeking to prosecute the Identitarians who recently defended the border in an Alpine pass.

Former Reagan Prosecutor: Mueller Tactics Illegal and Unconstitutional

Former U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia (1983-1988) and husband of Trump legal adviser Victoria Toensing , Joe diGenova stated on Fox News Channel that Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his team of investigators/prosecutors don’t have the right to issue a subpoena to force President Donald Trump to answer questions to be used in impeachment proceedings. A career prosecutor himself, diGenova went on to taunt Mueller and told him to go ahead with the subpoena that he knows is illegal and unconstitutional and see what happens.

DiGenova told Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro that Mueller’s investigation has nothing whatsoever to do with any Russian collusion. He went on to say the ultimate goal of Mueller’s action are either bringing down President Trump or making him a one-term president.

According to news reports, someone involved in the investigation leaked some of the 44 questions Mueller wants to ask Trump. However, a reading of those questions appear to have nothing to do with the baseless allegation of Trump-Russia collusion to beat Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

An acknowledged legal scholar, diGenova said, “It appears that the ambiguous questions are meant to be a perjury trap if Trump overlooks a small minor detail.” Other legal experts such as former police detective and prosecuting attorney Michael Barker have accused Mueller’s team of using the same tactic on another target — Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn.

How to Destroy a Nation From Within

Unless there is a permanent change in what is being indoctrinated into our students, our dear republic could be destined for doom and destruction.

In the case of the United States of America, the government was not originally designed to brutally rule over the “People.” But rather, was formed to defend the right of everyone to live for their own sake and that of their families, not at the behest of big government. In America, loyalty is or should be expected as a bi-product of an appreciation for the numerous blessings of for example, Liberty of or from religion. The freedom to bear arms for self, family and property protection is a major part of our national heritage, along with recognition of our unalienable rights which come from God, not government.

To recapture and maintain the blessings of Liberty, we must remain vigilant in making sure the principles to perpetuate Liberty are vigorously passed down to succeeding generations. Parents, educators and even ministers are responsible for either blessing or cursing our republic. What is taught to one generation dictates the direction our nation takes during the next generation…

Eventually those leftists opposing American greatness, just like parasites they invaded the schools, many churches and in time even corrupted the concept of family life. The government schools of indoctrination have done a masterful job of convincing individuals like former Senator John Kerry who as a result set out on a life long mission to undermine America. He negotiated a horrible nuclear arms deal with Iran during the Obama administration that only benefited Iran and included a 150 billion dollar taxpayer funded payoff. That is bad enough, but the indoctrinated egotistical John “Lurch” Kerry traveled the globe meeting with world leaders to preserve his abysmal Iran nuclear arms deal and Obama’s legacy.

Mueller’s Politically Charged Corruption and Partisan Special Counsel

When you look at the entire array of actions from the very beginning, the appointment by Rosenstein of Mueller where no crime was stated to have been committed, you begin an inexorable process of depriving the President of his ability to govern. We are now going on 16 months of striping away from the president his presidency. If we go back to the beginning, this started out as a brazen plot to exonerate Hillary Clinton through the Obama Justice Department and the FBI and then, if she lost, to figure out a way to frame Donald Trump and the people around him. What is tragic is the system has allowed that to occur. — Joe diGenova

Furthermore, I am of the opinion that Carthage should be destroyed. — Cicero for Cato the Elder

People are beginning to understand that our intelligence community has a lot to answer for. The intelligence community has not become involved in the Deep State; the Deep State was inside the intelligence community from the very beginning. Link

The President is being constantly distracted from his performance of duties by this…everything Trump is working on is being disrupted for no good reason, and yet he succeeds. In my previous article, I condensed a portion of Congressman Louis Gohmert’s monumental tome on “The Naked Truth About Robert Mueller.” The original report is a pdf file (https://1zwchz1jbsr61f1c4mgf0abl-wpengine.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/Gohmert_Mueller_UNMASKED.pdf). This article is the rest of what Gohmert exposed in condensed form.

Liberalism is a religion pretending to be a political philosophy. Islam is a political philosophy pretending to be a religion. Robert Mueller has embraced liberalism and he is friends of Islamic terror. We know the intelligence community is infiltrated with Muslim Brotherhood. Former FBI Agent, John Guandolo has made that clear.

Disarmed Countries — What Do They Look Like?

Just recently, while taking care of business, I walked into a craft store where a woman was working. At first, I was not sure if I heard an English accent or not. She spoke again and then I was sure of it.

I asked, “Are you from England?” and she said that she was. I then asked her how disarmament was working out for the people there.

She told me that she has now lived here in America for 40 years and that her mother still lives there. She went on to say that her mother was so brainwashed that she has a wad of money rolled up in a secret compartment so when, not if but when, an intruder breaks in, she can tell them where the money is in hopes of them not bringing harm to her (Luke 11:21).

This all reminds me of Annie Hendrick and Sally Skidmore who are two women that live in England, as well. They are both in their 80’s and were beaten by intruders.

In fact, one woman was so tired of intruders breaking into her home, that she put chicken wire around her home. Once the local government found out what she did, they summoned her to court and told her that she must remove the chicken wire, lest it hurt one of the intruders…

On the other hand, in 1982, the town of Kennesaw, Georgia passed a law requiring all able adults, except convicts, to have a gun. They have only had one murder (From an out of state criminal with a gun) and have had no increase in crime or violence in 12 years! (Final Warning, Grant Jeffrey p. 205, 1995)

In the video below, they also interviewed local prisoners (3:12) as to why they never set Kennesaw, Georgia in their sights when committing crimes. They said, “Stay away from Kennesaw because they are an armed people.”

France: Terror Probe Launched After Deadly Paris Knife Attack

A knifeman shouting “Allahu akbar” was shot dead by police in central Paris late Saturday after he killed one person and injured four, prompting a terror probe.

The attack took place near the city’s main opera house in an area full of bars, restaurants and theatres which were brimming on a weekend night.

French President Emmanuel Macron said: “France once again pays the price of blood.”

Saturday’s assault is the latest to strike a nation rocked by a series of jihadist attacks in the last three years that have killed more than 245 people.

French Police Question Parents, Friend of Paris Knife Attacker

Investigators are following the trail of a 20-year-old Frenchman born in Chechnya who rampaged through a festive Paris neighborhood slashing passers-by with a knife, raising anew the specter of terrorism in France after less than two months of calm.

Using a knife, the man identified as Khamzat Azimov killed one person and wounded four others in a festive area near Paris’ old opera house. Police shot him to death as he charged them, witnesses said. Less than 24 hours later, investigators were questioning three people — his parents and a friend.

The Islamic State group quickly claimed responsibility for the Saturday night attack via its Aamaq news agency, saying Azimov was their “soldier” acting in response to the group’s calls for supporters to target members of the U.S.-led anti-IS military coalition, a stock response. France’s military has been active in the coalition since 2014.

On Sunday, Aamaq released a posthumous video said to show the attacker calling on Muslims in Europe to “take action in the land of disbelievers” if they can’t travel to the crumbling caliphate in Iraq and Syria, which has been pounded by coalition forces. The man said French citizens should pressure their government “if you want it (attacks) to end.”

SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors jihadi propaganda, obtained the video, which could not be independently authenticated. The young man’s face is covered, except for his eyes, with a black bandanna and the hood of his coat. The video was made outside amid trees and falling rain. French authorities had no comment.

Police detained Azimov’s parents in the northern 18th district of Paris and held a friend from Strasbourg in that city on the border with Germany in eastern France, French officials said. The friend was detained Sunday afternoon.

A security official said investigators searched the Paris residence of the parents. The official wasn’t authorized to speak about the investigation and insisted on not being quoted by name.

French media reported that the family had lived in Strasbourg, and it wasn’t clear if the suspect moved to Paris with his parents.

Counterterrorism investigators want to know if the assailant had help or co-conspirators. The attacker killed a 29-year-old man and wounded four other people, one from Luxembourg, before police fatally shot him.

The suspect was on a police watch list for radicalism, a judicial official not authorized to speak publicly about the case told The Associated Press. But he had a clean criminal record and did not know his victims, Interior Ministry spokesman Frederic de Lanouvelle said.

Witnesses reported hearing the man shouting “Allahu akbar,” the Arabic phrase for “God is great,” during the attack that happened at about 9 p.m. in a lively area near the Opera Garnier…

Is France Really an Ally of the United States?

No-go zones are growing rapidly in the suburbs of all of France’s main cities. Shanty towns built by illegal migrants from Africa and the Middle East have sprung up in parts of Marseilles and Paris in the last few years. Islamization is everywhere. In hundreds of mosques, imams deliver fiery anti-Western speeches. Churches are vandalized. The number of rapes is rapidly increasing. Groups of veiled women roam the streets and insult the “immodest”, unveiled, women.

Macron’s most important project since he was elected has been the creation of new Islamic institutions destined to adapt France to Islam — not to adapt Islam to France. Many more mosques will be built, financed with taxpayer money; departments of Islamic culture will open in universities, and imam training centers created.

Macron’s main advisor on this subject is Hakim El Karoui, the author of a book (“Islam, a French Religion”) explaining that Islam is now the main religion in the country; that prejudices of non-Muslims are the source of most troubles, and that helping Muslims to have access to more important positions in French society is of the utmost urgency.

Sadly, it will also be difficult for President Macron, Prime Minister May and Chancellor Merkel to hide that they are appeasers of Islam and the weak commanders of countries they are allowing to decay.

Caroline Glick: Netanyahu’s Finest Hour

At the start of his cabinet meeting on Wednesday, President Donald Trump discussed his announcement Tuesday afternoon that he is removing the US from his predecessor Barack Obama’s nuclear deal with Iran and reinstating the nuclear sanctions that were suspended with the deal’s implementation in January 2016.

European and other international leaders responded angrily to Trump’s move. The EU’s foreign policy commissioner Federica Mogherini was downright indignant.

Apparently unaware that the US is a more important EU ally than Iran, Mogherini insisted, “The European Union is determined to preserve it. Together with the rest of the international community, we will preserve this nuclear deal.”

The liberal US media outlets were also aghast. Commentators joined the chorus of former Obama administration officials condemning Trump and insisting his move will isolate the US from the international community.

Trump brushed off his critics by noting, “You saw [Prime Minister] Benjamin Netanyahu get up yesterday and talk so favorably about what we did.”

In other words, as far as Trump is concerned, Israel’s support is just as valuable as Mogherini’s. He’s perfectly willing to suffice with Israeli support. Having Israel in his corner means that the US is not isolated…

Britain Hostile for All Racial Minorities: UN Inspector

LONDON (AFP) — British Prime Minister Theresa May’s “hostile environment” for illegal immigrants has created hostility for all Britain’s ethnic communities, the UN special rapporteur on racism said Friday.

Britain has a “climate of national anxieties that scapegoat entire religious, racial and ethnic groups as the presumptive enemy,” Tendayi Achiume told a press conference in London, following a two-week fact-finding mission.

Achiume said British racial equality laws provided a firm basis for tackling structural and institutional forms of racism.

But she said: “The structural socio-economic exclusion of racial and ethnic communities in the UK is striking.

“The harsh reality is that race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability status and related categories all continue to determine the life chances and well-being of people in Britain in ways that are unacceptable, and in many cases, unlawful.”

She said Britain’s austerity measures had proved “disproportionately detrimental” to racial minorities.

They “appear inadvertently to function as a prime instrument of racial subordination”, she said.

She suggested that all fiscal policy proposals should be subjected to equality impact assessments.

As interior minister in 2012, May set out creating what she called a “really hostile environment” for illegal immigration.

It emerged in recent weeks that some legal Caribbean child immigrants from the 1970s and earlier have been caught in the so-called Windrush scandal — threatened with deportation as they were unable to prove their status.

Amber Rudd, May’s successor as interior minister, resigned over her handling of the fallout on April 29, the first day of Achiume’s visit.

Achiume said the government’s clampdown on illegal immigration had a “rotten core” that had ended up destroying the lives of racial communities more broadly.

“A hostile environment ostensibly created for and formally restricted to irregular immigrants, is, in effect, a hostile environment for all racial and ethnic communities and individuals in the UK.”

On the racial impact of criminal justice law and policy, she said the picture for ethnic minorities “remains grim and has actually worsened”.

In conclusion, she said Britain had shown some leadership in combating racial inequality but had “much more to do”.

Achiume’s preliminary findings are independent of the United Nations and her final report will have no enforcement authority.

It is due to be submitted to the UN Human Rights Council in June 2019.

America Will Not Come Back

Time is like a river. You cannot touch the water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again. Franklin Graham was speaking at the First Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida, when he said America will not come back. He wrote:

“The American dream ended on November 6th, 2012. The second term of Barack Obama has been the final nail in the coffin for the legacy of the white Christian males who discovered, explored, pioneered, settled and developed the greatest republic in the history of mankind.

Fellow Travelers

A coalition of blacks, Latinos, feminists, gays, government workers, union members, environmental extremists, the media, Hollywood, uninformed young people, the “forever needy,” the chronically unemployed, illegal aliens and other “fellow travelers” have ended Norman Rockwell’s America.

You will never again out-vote— these people. It will take individual acts of defiance and massive displays of civil disobedience to get back the rights we have allowed them to take away. It will take zealots, not moderates and shy, not reach-across-the-aisle RINOS to right this ship and restore our beloved country to its former status.

Well Johnny What Did You Learn at School Today?

“By educating the young generation along the right lines, the People’s State will have to see to it that a generation of mankind is formed which will be adequate to this supreme combat that will decide the destinies of the world.” — Adolf Hitler

Purposely subtle government and special interest brainwashing and indoctrination are happening at ever earlier ages. There have been many overtures, mostly by liberals, to expand public education into pre-school where socialist and environmental indoctrination can be set in stone at ages from one to five years old…

Here are some excerpts from Common Core State Standards on math instruction from our previous article on the subject.

“Promoting and supporting equitable practices for students is a complex process and is best supported when your collaborative team examines several factors. The National Council of Supervisors of Mathematics’ (2008) position statement on equity recommends that mathematics educators:”

“Respond to equity as a meaningful process to address social justice issues of race, language, gender, and class bias.” (what has this have to do with math?) “Embrace a mindset shift from a student deficit perspective of equity to a focus on creating opportunities for equal access to meaningful mathematics.” (what in the world is “meaningful mathematics?”) “Recognize underachievement not as a result of group membership but more likely a symptom of varying beliefs, opportunities and experiences to learn mathematics.” (meaningless mumbo jumbo!)

This so-called mathematics-teaching document finished with:

“Recognizing and responding to these important facets of equity will promote the rich conversations needed in your collaborative team to promote high-quality instruction and equitable classrooms.”

What has “equity” have to do with teaching mathematics? Ludicrous!

Are you getting the picture?
