Gates of Vienna News Feed 3/5/2018

Police in Austin, Texas say that an explosive device that killed a man on the porch of his house last Friday had been wrapped up in a package. It is not known whether the victim was the intended target, or whether he might have built the device himself.

In possibly unrelated news, an explosion inside an apartment in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin killed a man. The apartment is said to have contained “dangerous chemicals”.

In other news, eight people have been arrested in the culturally enriched Molenbeek district of Brussels on suspicion of planning a terrorist attack. The incident had nothing to do with Islam.

Economy’s Performance Continues to Beat Forecasts

Three more measures of how the U.S. economy is performing once again beat economists’ forecasts: consumer confidence, jobless claims, and manufacturing. Tuesday’s release by the University of Michigan of its monthly “Survey of Consumers” showed all three of its indexes notching highs not seen in years. Its Index of Consumer Sentiment (“How are you feeling about your finances today?”) hit 99.7 compared to January’s robust 96.3. That is the second-highest level since 2004, reflecting, according to the survey’s chief economist Richard Curtin, consumers’ “favorable assessments of jobs, wages, and higher after-tax pay … overall, the data signal an expected gain of 2.9% in real personal consumption expenditures during 2018.”

As Tariff Battle Heats Up, Trump Says US Steel, Aluminum Industries ‘Dead’

President Donald Trump added more fuel to a brewing global trade battle Sunday, tweeting in support of his planned import tariffs on steel and aluminum to help U.S. industries.

“We are on the losing side of almost all trade deals. Our friends and enemies have taken advantage of the U.S. for many years. Our Steel and Aluminum industries are dead. Sorry, it’s time for a change! MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump wrote.

Austin Police Say Device That Exploded Friday Morning Was Inside of a Package

AUSTIN, Texas- Austin police said the explosive device that detonated at a Haverford Drive home Friday morning killing one man was inside of a package.

Originally police were calling the investigation a homicide, now they said it is considered a suspicious death because they haven’t ruled out the possibility that the victim may have constructed and accidentally detonated the device himself.

“When we arrived, we saw that there had been an explosion of some type. What we have determined in the following days is that this appeared to be a package,” said Assistant Chief Joseph Chacon with the Austin Police Department.

Police say 39-year-old Anthony House is the sole victim in the explosion. He was taken to a Round Rock hospital where he died from his injuries.

“Right now, we’re trying to determine how did the package get there and who was the intended target? We do feel that this was targeted at somebody. We’re still trying to figure out whether that was the individual who died or not,” Chacon said.

The ATF is working to reconstruct the device to learn more about how it worked and who may have created it.

Police said they don’t believe there is any ongoing threat to the public.

“Anytime we have a bomb go off like that and somebody dies, the first thing people think is terrorism. While we cannot completely rule it out at this point, we do not believe that terrorism is a motive in this death,” said Chacon.

So far, officers said they do not have a suspect or a motive in House’s death…

Defending Against a Hacked Refrigerator

Your computer has protection against hacking, as is your laptop. So is your iPad and your smart phone.

So you’re secure, asks a new report in Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.

Not unless you’re also protected against unwanted incursions into the software running your webcam, your TV, your refrigerator, or doorbell, or anything else that can connect to the Web.

That word comes from INTERPOL, which recently ran a security challenge event that tested whether even the experts could spot something gone wrong, and defend against it.

“All devices which can connect to the Internet — collectively called the ‘ Internet of Things’ or IoT — are potentially at risk of a cyberattack,” the organization warned. “Everyday personal items like video cameras, refrigerators and televisions can be used by cybercriminals for malicious means.”

Such threats have increased just in the last few years, based on reports from private cybersecurity experts.

Meet Flippy, Your New Fast Food Grill Cook Who Never Takes a Day Off

The concern that robots will take jobs is thrust back into the spotlight after a California-based burger chain has “hired” Flippy to be its latest grill cook.

According to KTLA-5, which was there for a preview event, Flippy is helping out Caliburger make California-style burgers and fries, providing a level of consistency to its cooked food.

Though consulting firm McKinsey estimates that as many as 800 million jobs could be lost by 2030 due to robotics and automation, CEO and co-founder of Miso Robotics, David Zito, said the kitchen will always have people in it and Flippy will help them.

Missouri Man, Who Once Threatened to ‘Kill All White People, ‘ is Indicted in 2nd Set of 3 Killings

A Missouri man who once threatened to “kill all white people” was indicted Friday in the killings of three white males, and is now accused in six killings overall.

The accused, Fredrick Demond Scott, 23, was indicted by a grand jury in the deaths of David Lenox, 67, Timothy Rice, 57, and Michael Darby, 61.

Scott was also charged last summer in the deaths of Steven, Gibbons, 57, John Palmer, 54 and Karen Harmeyer, 64.

The five male victims were all shot as they walked on or near the trails or, in one case, walked home after getting off a bus. The female victim was homeless, and her decomposing body was found in a tent in woods in Grandview. She also was shot, police said.

The police say they do not know if the shootings were racially motivated.

One Dead in Beaver Dam Apartment Explosion

BEAVER DAM (WKOW) — Federal investigators are looking into a deadly explosion in Beaver Dam.

The explosion happened around 1 p.m. Monday at the Village Glen Apartments on Knaup Drive.

You can see it blew out the windows and a sliding glass door in a second floor apartment.

The blast shocked neighbors.

“I heard an explosion that rattled windows and obviously looked at the clock and I knew something didn’t make sense. It was a pretty loud explosion,” Kirby Krohn told WISN.

Police say the man who died is in his late 20’s.

He has not been publicly identified.

Investigators say they found dangerous chemicals inside the apartment.

The Woman in the High Castle

In a dystopian fantasy in The New York Times at the end of the year, the columnist Bret Stephens reminded us of the horror that might have been:

Tax cuts. Deregulation. More for the military; less for the United Nations. The Islamic State crushed in its heartland. Assad hit with cruise missiles. Troops to Afghanistan. Arms for Ukraine. A tougher approach to North Korea. Jerusalem recognized as Israel’s capital. The Iran deal decertified. Title IX kangaroo courts on campus condemned. Yes to Keystone. No to Paris. Wall Street roaring and consumer confidence high.

And, of course, Neil Gorsuch on the Supreme Court.

Thank God, as Stephens himself so forcefully predicted, Donald Trump was crushed in the November 2016 election and the nation was spared those and other right-wing depredations.

Instead, Hillary Rodham Clinton, in the landslide that everyone who was anyone predicted, was elected the 45th president of the United States and lost no time in fulfilling her campaign promises—and even going beyond what she had promised in many areas.

Now that more than a year has passed, let’s cast our glance over some of what she has accomplished.

Trump’s Approval Rating is Starting to Really Go Up

Following an extremely strong State of the Union performance, President Trump’s approval numbers are steadily rising. In fact, as you will see below, Rasmussen Reports says that Trump’s approval rating is higher than Barack Obama’s was at this stage. That is startling, because the mainstream media would have us believe that Barack Obama was a widely popular president and that Donald Trump is the most hated president in modern American history. Yes, there are definitely a lot of people out there that do not like Trump, but the truth is that there are also millions upon millions of us that support the president and want him to succeed. I knew that Trump’s State of the Union address would help him, but I wasn’t sure exactly how much it would help his approval numbers. Well, it turns out that some polls are now showing that his approval rating is approaching 50 percent. For example, Rasmussen Reports found that Trump’s approval rating hit 48 percent on Wednesday…

What Do You Think Would Have Happened to America if Hillary Clinton Had Won the Election?

As I travel up and down Idaho’s first congressional district, I frequently talk with voters about how we almost lost everything in November 2016. When I ask what a Hillary Clinton presidency would have meant for this country, almost every single time I get a response like “it would have been over” or “we would have been finished”. Our Republic was already hanging by a thread going into 2016, and even four years under Clinton may have been enough to wipe out any hope of ever turning things around. The election of Donald Trump was literally the greatest miracle in modern American political history, but it doesn’t mean that our Republic has been saved. What it does mean is that we now have a narrow window of opportunity to save our Republic. Today they call themselves “Democrats”, “liberals” and “progressives”, but the truth is that leftist politicians in both parties have been steadily marching us down the road toward socialism for a very long time. Our Constitutional Republic is barely recognizable at this point, and it is going to take emergency measures to restore it. So now is definitely not a time for politics as usual and more of the same in Washington. Instead, we need to send bold leaders to Washington that will be willing to turn our deeply corrupt system upside down. If I am able to win my race and get to Washington that is precisely what I intend to do, but I can’t do it alone. There are less than 80 days to go until May 15th, and I am asking for your help to win this incredibly close race…

Doing nothing is not an option.

If we fail to take advantage of this opportunity provided by the Trump presidency, eventually the left will retake control and will continue marching us down the road toward socialism until the Republic that our founders established is destroyed for good.

In 2018 if we elect typical wimpy Republican politicians that simply want to be part of the Washington club and advance their political careers, nothing will get accomplished.

What we need are visionary men and women that are willing to stand up to the leadership of both parties and say that enough is enough.

We are simply not going to do things the same way any longer.

I’ve said it before, and I will say it again. What we need is a second American revolution. I am not talking about a revolution of guns and bullets, but rather one of ideas, values and principles. I would like to share what I wrote about this second American revolution when I first announced my candidacy last July…

How Canada Ended Up With Justin Trudeau

In retrospect, it’s worth looking at how Trudeau got elected because the election had consequences, all of which are on display now. When he was elected in 2015, he had a famous name but no signficant political experience. And at age 43 when he was voted in, he didn’t even have much life experience, particularly as a cossetted rich man’s son growing up in an elite leftwing bubble.

Baffling to conservatives of course, is how such a fine prime minister as Stephen Harper could be voted out, his exit largely attributed to his lack of charisma.

It’s true that voters get tired of incumbents. But in Canada’s case, and this should be worth noting here, he was elected because of massive foreign funding, from the likes of the rabidly leftwing and secretive Tides Foundation, linked to George Soros and radical environmental movements.

In 2017, the National Post reported that Trudeau got elected after a massive influx of illegal foreign funds, mostly from the U.S.-based leftwing Tides Foundation, writing:

Locke Street Bounces Back After ‘Terrifying’ Masked Mob Attack

Hundreds of residents embraced the traumatized neighbourhood around Locke Street South Sunday, in the aftermath of a masked mob vandalizing stores and lighting firecrackers that sounded like gunshots.

A lineup of customers at Donut Monster stretched around the corner at Locke and Charlton streets, where the new café’s windows were among those boarded up after being shattered by rocks thrown by members of a group numbering about 30 Saturday night, dressed in black brandishing a banner that read: “We Are the Ungovernables.”

Hamilton police said damage to shops, cars, and homes in the area totalled about $100,000, and no injuries were reported.

Anti-Establishment Parties Surge in Italian Election

The European Union super-state and the globalist establishment that controls it, along with the open-borders and mass-migration agendas they are pushing, just suffered a massive defeat in Italy’s historic election. The huge victory of so-called “populist,” right-of-center political parties was almost universally viewed as a stunning rebuke of the EU — and especially of its unpopular agenda to flood Europe with Islamic immigrants while de-Christianizing the culture and smashing self-governing nation-states. Some commentators have even compared the outcome to Brexit or Donald Trump’s election to the U.S. presidency. However, with negotiations on forming a government just beginning, the voter outrage against the establishment could still be blunted by behind-the-scenes scheming.

Collapsed Polish Building May Have Been Blown Up in ‘Intentional’ Attack

WARSAW, Poland (AP) — An “intentional” attack could be the reason an apartment building collapsed in western Poland, leaving five people dead and 21 injured, a prosecutors’ spokeswoman said Monday.

The building with 18 apartments collapsed early Sunday in the western city of Poznan, most probably as a result of an explosion, authorities said.

Magdalena Mazur-Prus, a spokesman for the regional prosecutors’ office, would not confirm unofficial media reports, including by the state PAP agency, that one of the victims had been murdered before the collapse and that explosives might have been used to cover up the crime.

Still, she would not exclude that the building could have faced an “intentional” attack.

How Doom-Mongers Got Brexit Wrong

Gloomy Treasury forecasts that predict Brexit will be an economic disaster are ‘flawed’, Cambridge researchers warn today.

A study by the university’s Centre for Business Research raises serious questions over predictions by government officials, academic bodies, the IMF and the OECD.

They say most estimates of the economic impact of the Leave vote are based on modelling that exaggerates the negative effects. The study, published today, is titled How the Economics Profession Got it Wrong on Brexit and says Treasury forecasts before and after the referendum were too pessimistic.

Researchers say the assumption about the degree of uncertainty caused by the Brexit vote was arbitrary and wrong.

Inconclusive Italy Vote Delivers EU Leaders’ Nightmare Scenario

Preliminary results suggest Italy’s general election has produced a hung parliament and a triumph for the two parties EU leaders feared the most: the anti-establishment Five-Star Movement and the anti-immigrant, fiercely Eurosceptic Lega party.

Riding a wave of popular anger over persistently high unemployment, recurrent corruption scandals and the influx of migrants on Italy’s southern shores, the Five-Star Movement and the Lega emerged as the big winners of a night that delivered yet another crushing rebuke of mainstream parties.

With 75% of ballots counted, the Five-Star Movement led by 31-year-old Luigi Di Maio was easily the biggest single party. It is credited with a whopping 32% of the vote, making it an unavoidable force in the intense horsetrading that will follow this inconclusive vote…

Islamophobia is on the Rise in Spain

There were 546 reported incidents of Islamophobia in Spain in 2017, according to a report released Friday by the Citizens’ Platform Against Islamophobia (PCI).

The Local breaks down the most important information from the annual report here:

What types of incidents were reported?

The most frequent type of incident cited were those of “defamation, slander, and libel,” in which Muslim men were accused of being “violent, sexist, chauvinists, pedophiles, backwards, intolerant, or terrorists,” while Muslim women were characterized as being “submissive, oppressed, ignorant, or backwards.”

The second leading category of incidents was those of discrimination or negation of rights. The report used the European Union’s definition of discrimination, citing it as the “conduct, action, or omission by which a person is treated less favorably than another in a comparable situation and when an apparently neutral provision, criterion, or practice places people at a particular disadvantage with respect to others.”

Italian Election Results: Coalition Members Agree to Salvini Becoming Next Italian PM

The centre-right coalition led by controversial former PM Silvio Berlusconi win 37 percent of the votes at the Italian election 2018 held on March 4.

Ms Meloni confirmed she will ask Italian President Sergio Mattarella to give Mr Salvini the mandate, saying: “The first thing we need to do when we meet with President Mattarella is to tell him that our personal point of view is that the forming the government is up to the centre-right coalition.

“According to a rule we agreed inside the coalition, the role of PM must go to Matteo Salvini. Fratelli d’Italia will respect that commitment.”

‘Merkel is Putting up Smokescreen!’ AfD Attacks Policies as it Gloats About Rise to Power

The Social Democrats and Christian Democrats have lost touch with their core support base, while Angela Merkel is merely “putting up a smokescreen” with empty promises to reform migrant policies, Mrs Weidel said.

The SPD (the Social Democrats) officially agreed to form a coalition with the Christian Democats on Sunday, ending a five month political deadlock since the German election in September.

With the so-called grand coalition formed, the AfD have become the country’s main opposition party, after securing a meteoric surge in support due to its hardline migrant policies.

Mrs Weidel told the French daily Le Figaro: “According to national polls, we are now more popular than the SPD [centre-left Social Democrats] and have overtaken them as the second most powerful political force. The SPD is hot on our heels, yes, but there is a clear trend. Our policies are efficient.

The two jurymen have ruled by Sharia law in the case of a battered woman, which is obviously totally unacceptable in Sweden. But the question is how the support of sharia of Swedish politicians and officials can actually affect Swedish freedom of speech? Are we going for the introduction of blasphemy laws? The question seems absurd, but there are concerns even if the Center Party’s representatives asserts that they are not supporting Sharia.

After reading about ISIS’s abuse, a 32-year-old woman in Gothenburg posted a cartoon about Muslims on Facebook. Now she is prosecuted for hate speech after giving DNA and being subjected to degrading police interrogations.

Should Germany Get Rid of the Word ‘Fatherland’ From Its National Anthem?

On Sunday the German government’s equality commissioner made headlines by suggesting that it was time to make the national anthem less macho. So will erasing the word fatherland do the trick?

Kristin Rose-Möhring, equality commissioner in the Federal Family Ministry, believes it is high time that Germany changes the wording of its national anthem to make it more gender equal, newspaper Bild am Sonntag reported.

The word Vaterland (fatherland) should be replaced by Heimatland (home land) and the word brüderlich (brotherly) should be replaced by couragiert (courageous), she suggested in an internal government letter seen by the tabloid.

UK: Violence as ‘Anti-Fascist’ Mob Storms University to Silence Right-Wing Speaker

The demonstrators are said to have set off smoke bombs, a fire alarm, smashed windows and sent security staff to hospital as they attempted to “no platform” Carl Benjamin, otherwise known as Sargon of Akkad, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ayn Rand Institute, Dr. Yaron Brook.

The event, hosted by the KCL Libertarian Society, was captured in dramatic footage which shows a group of masked men storm the lecture theatre waving an Antifa flag.

The attempt to stifle free speech soon turned violent as video footage shows one of the protestors was punched in the face seemingly by an audience member before being dragged to the ground.

King’s Libertarian Society, issued a statement calling the evening “an act of violence, clearly intended to silence Yaron and Sargon’s planned debate, via a series of jackbooted totalitarian tactics that unfortunately proved successful.”

Doctors in France have issued a stern warning to wine drinkers, as the row over whether the quintessentially French tipple should be treated as a health risk or a national treasure.

Health minister, Agnes Buzyn recently struck a nerve in France when she accused the country’s wine industry of practising “double standards” when it comes to selling wine as a soft alcohol.

“The wine industry today claims wine is different from other types of alcohol,” she told France 2. “In terms of public health, it is exactly the same thing to drink wine, beer, vodka, whiskey, there is zero difference.”

US Aircraft Carrier Carl Vinson in Historic Vietnam Visit

US aircraft carrier Carl Vinson is making a historic call at Vietnam, the first time a ship of this size has visited since the Vietnam War ended.

The nuclear-powered carrier will anchor off the port city of Danang, where US combat troops first landed in the war, making this a highly symbolic location.

China claims almost all of the South China Sea, including reefs and islands also claimed by other nations. Vietnam specifically exercises claims over the Paracel and Spratly islands.

The US has always said it does not take sides in the South China Sea dispute, but the US Navy has consistently run so-called “freedom of navigation” operations through disputed waters, a clear challenge to China’s territorial ambitions.

Venezuelans, Go Home: Xenophobia Haunts Refugees

For decades, the oil-rich citizens of a great nation were stereotyped by their poorer neighbors as haughty. Now comes the payback.

Panama’s hit single is about a Venezuelan woman who “fears nothing but immigration officers,” and “was famous in her own country but here does something else” — the something else presumably being prostitution.

Hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans fleeing economic collapse are crowding into cities and makeshift camps in Colombia, Brazil, Ecuador and throughout the region, the largest mass emigration in modern Latin American history. The Panamanian song, which brought the singer death threats from aggrieved migrants, reflects a growing friction. The sympathy that greeted early arrivals, many wealthy professionals, is giving way to fear and resentment of the poor and desperate. It is evinced by outbreaks of nationalistic insults, harassment and even violence.

“The situation is so tense that people just react,” said Christian Maldonado, who represents the singer whose real name is Fernando Cabrera. He helped produce the song, whose title is a slang reference to Venezuelans. It’s ubiquitous in Panama City’s taxis and bars.

Home Office loses track of 500 offenders after they are let out of prison

The Home Office has lost track of hundreds of dangerous foreign criminals awaiting deportation from Britain.

Instead of being locked up until they are thrown out of the UK, the offenders, including rapists, robbers and paedophiles, vanished after being let out of prison.

Immigration chiefs lost track of the foreign national offenders (FNOs) after they completed their sentences and were released into the community — meaning they could still pose a threat.

Figures obtained using freedom of information laws revealed that 494 criminals absconded between January 2014 and March 2016.

CBC Celebrates Abused 9-Year-Old Cross-Dresser as Subject of “Children in the Arts” Documentary Series

“Being a 9-year-old drag princess is fantastically glamourous. Montreal’s Nemis Melancon has learned that during his two years of costuming, dancing and lip synching. And it takes a team to create that kind of artistry — Melancon’s mother is the wizard behind the curtain, wielding makeup and outfits that transform her son into the competitive, sassy, vogueing Lactatia.”

The quote above is from a CBC program on the arts called Art Kids, a part of the parent Exhibitionists series, which allegedly celebrates children in the arts. The subject of the piece is a 9 year old boy with the stage name of Lactatia. His “parents” encourage him to dress as a sexualized female child and then pimp him out to adult aficionados of their shared deviance in a sort of “fashion show”.

While the normalization of pedophilia may satisfy the bent desires of CBC staff and the Justin Trudeau set I doubt that tax payers will be thrilled to know their money is spent promoting child abuse.

German Equality Chief Wants ‘Fatherland’ Removed From Anthem

A German equality official has proposed changing the country’s national anthem to make it more ‘gender sensitive’.

Equality commissioner Kristin Rose-Möhring has suggested removing a reference to ‘the Fatherland’ from the lyrics of the German anthem while also dropping the word ‘brotherly’.

Under her proposals the word ‘Vaterland’, which appears in the first and last lines of the current anthem, would be replaced by ‘Heimatland’, meaning homeland.

She suggested making the change on March 8, International Women’s Day, according to the Bild am Sonntag.

Rose-Möhring also proposed replacing another male-specific word, ‘brotherly,’ with ‘courageously.’

‘Why don’t we make our national anthem gender sensitive,’ she said. ‘It wouldn’t hurt, would it?’

Austria and Canada have both removed gender-specific terms from their anthems in recent years, with Canada recently changing the words ‘in all thy sons’ command’ to ‘in all of us command’.

WordPress is Now 30 Per Cent of the Web, Daylight Second

Open source dominates the content management system market

The web-watchers at W3Techs have just noted a milestone: WordPress now accounts for 30 per cent of the world’s web sites.

W3Techs crawls the top ten million websites as determined by Amazon’s Alexa rating service and peers into their innards to figure out what they’re running, and sells details reports on its findings. It also publishes public data on its findings.

And on Monday March 5th that public data ticked recorded that WordPress’ share of the top ten million web sites ticked over from 29.9 per cent to 30 per cent. The firm put some context on that data by noting that 50.2 per cent of the world’s web sites don’t run a content management system (CMS) at all. That means WordPress has over 60 per cent share among web sites that do run a CMS. That’s a dominance few products in any category can claim.

Open letter to Swedish political parties participating in this year’s election

    Hi,

If we are going to persuade Swedish Muslims to participate in the election in September 2006, we should accept the following claims and wishes — see below — from different muslim minorities in Sweden.

I have not seen manifest and evident signals from all parties that we should comply with such wishes. We ask that the most important claims become part of the political agenda; otherwise the risk is apparent that the majority of the Muslims on election day will remain ‘on the sofa’.

We Muslims are fed up with broken election promises and we wish for tangible proposals that show that Swedes care for us. It won’t be bad if our politically chosen or any new representatives take an hour to read our open letter that has been sent to all the established political parties.

INRIKES.

    SDU startar nytt parti
After the Swedish Democrats cut the ties with their former youth federation, several of the former leading representatives of SDU now make political comeback with the new party Alternatives for Sweden.
The party, which will be held in the parliamentary elections in September, was launched by Gustav Kasselstrand at a press conference at 20 o’clock on Monday.
A lot of details about the alternative for Sweden and who will represent the party were not presented during the press conference.
Kasselstrand, however, confirmed that the party will challenge SD with a harsher immigration policy.
“We are Sweden’s return party,” he said.
The party wants to see an “immediate asylum stop followed by an active return policy”.
“Without these two measures, we can never solve the huge problems that characterize our country,” said Gustav Kasselstrand.
“We need statesmen who have the courage to put group to group when resources are not endless.
Immigrants, for example, committed crimes, cheated on residence permits or did not contribute to Swedish society should be sent home.
    – They have no place in Sweden. They will not be integrated – they are going back to their homelands, Kasselstrand said.
He referred to a Sentiment survey conducted by the party, which shows, among other things, that one third of Swedes may wish to vote on parties wishing to reduce immigration more than any of the current parliamentary parties.
The survey also showed that two thirds of SD voters want to see a more immigration-critical alternative, according to Kasselstrand.
He said that the air has gone out of SD, a party which he believes has “torn apart from destructive battles and hunting for money”.
“I am not opposed to the Swedish Democrats – on the contrary. I still see it as the only parliamentary party that still tried to break the worst fools, but they are no longer now.
Alternatives for Sweden’s representatives work completely without fees, Gustav Kasselstrand said further.
On the newly formed website’s website it appears that many of the candidates either come from SDU or have been involved in SD in Stockholm.

Gustav Kasselstrand – Sveriges egen Donald Trump
    ARTIKELPOLITIK
Av Ingrid Carlqvist den 6 mars 2018
When former SDU leader Gustav Kasselstrand steps up on stage to launch Alternatives for Sweden, I will think of Donald Trump. Kassel beach is much younger, but he has the same self-confident charisma, the same conviction that his task is to save the foster country, to cost what he wants – and nothing will stand in his way.

First, the release film, which is suggestive with all the beautiful pictures of Swedes and Swedish nature, appears. But it’s much more than that, the movie does something very unusual – it turns directly to the viewer. The first sentences Gustav Kasselstrand yttrar is not about what he himself intends to do, instead he says to all who look: want.

    Alternativ för Sverige lanserat!
    5 mars 2018
    – Someday in the future you will look back on your life and the choices you made. When you faced the decisions that meant something, did you give up or follow your conviction even though it was difficult? Remember, nothing worth fighting for ever is easy. If you are to follow your dreams, you must keep your head high despite all the resistance you will face from those who do not have the conviction you have, from those who do not dare or believe in change.
It’s brilliant. Instead of like the other eight party leaders trying to beat the voters that he and his party can fix everything, Gustav Kasselstrand turns to the electorate and asks them to be courageous, to fight for Sweden and not give up on the least resistance. He also says in the movie:
“Now you are facing an important choice. You can vote for the same old politicians who never listen to the people and destroy your country. Or you can choose an alternative to politicians, an alternative for Sweden.
When Kasselstrand climbs up in the speaker chair, he goes straight to the poodle’s core:
“Sweden is today a country on the brink of the ruin. It is a country characterized by ever fewer successes and more crises. It recognizes all of us who have gathered here – possibly with the exception of the journalist union of course …
Trump again. Do not pest for the journalists. Do not play in their fake game. Challenge them and pull down their pants.
For them, they are all: Sweden’s Television, Sweden’s Radio, TV4, Aftonbladet, Expressen and some more. Far from everyone reporting that a new party has been launched, but somewhere within them, they are sure that Gustav Kasselstrand will be an important player in the electoral movement and it is best to have pictures from the launch – they may be needed when AFS storms into the parliament …
The whole century is in the same spirit. Kasselstrand intends to do everything he can to save Sweden. It was a long time since our name was flying over the world, he states. And apparently there are quite a few Swedes who think that a new party is needed. Alternatives to Sweden had made an opinion poll via Sentio before the launch. Four questions were asked:
Can you imagine voting on a party that wants to reduce immigration more than any current parliamentary party? Yes and maybe the answers received a total of 62.1 percent.
Can you imagine voting for a party that advocates the return of illegal immigrants to a greater extent than current parliamentary parties? Yes and maybe the answers received a total of 65.7 percent.
Would you like to see a new immigration-critical party in the Riksdag? Yes and maybe the answers received a total of 48.7 percent.
Which of the following statements best suits the party you’re sympathizing with?
Their immigration policy should be tightened: 42.2 percent
Their immigration policy is good as it is: 47.7 percent
Their immigration policy should become liberal: 10.1 percent
On question three, the answers from moderates and swords democrats have been specified. Of the M sympathizers, 20.8 percent want to see a new immigration-critical party in the Riksdag, while 63.8 percent of the SD sympathizers want it. Two thirds of those who like SD want to see a more radical alternative in the Riksdag! Perhaps they even want to vote for such a thing?

Jimmie Åkesson should be careful to behave as far as he did in TV4 last night:
“The Nordic Resistance Movement and this new alternative for Sweden are parties that will attract such things as we do not want, racists and havernists in different ways and it is good that they have somewhere to get along.
In one sense, Åkesson has clashed the AFS with the National Socialists in NMR, called them racists and hawkers, as SD gladly eliminates, and proved to be great enough to think it is good that even “submenu” have a party to vote for. Not good. I do not think that attitude goes home with the Swedish people. I also do not think it goes home with SD voters.
Has Åkesson totally lost contact with his constituents, believing that they just sat and waited for Åkesson to make somebody spit on himself, as he has been spotted on since SD entered the Riksdag 2010? Does he not think SD voters remember why Gustav Kasselstrand and eventually the entire SDU were ruled out? It was certainly not because they were brave racists and havernists, but on the contrary because they are unusually intelligent and therefore understand that radical action is needed to save Sweden. Idealists of Gustav Kasselstrand’s caliber were, of course, an acute threat to Jimmie Åkesson and Mattias Karlsson who are now saturated and contented and happy to save Sweden a bit grand.
Gustav Kasselstrand has every opportunity to take the position as Sweden’s Donald Trump. He has the glow, he has the conviction, he has charism and he has the intelligence. What he does not have is Trumps billion, but the collection the party started on his website alternativforsverige.se has already reached halfway to the desired million. Kassel beach and ha

Åkesson: Alternatives to Sweden are “extremists”

    DOMESTIC.

SD leader Jimmie Åkesson compares newly formed alternatives for Sweden with the Nazi Nordic resistance movement and claims that it will attract so-called “extremists” which his party still does not want.
Alternatives to Sweden launched on Monday evening will try to take voters from, among others, the Swedish Democrats – and enter the Riksdag this fall this fall.
But SD party leader Jimmie Åkesson directly compares the party with the Nordic resistance movement and claims that it will attract “racists” and “haverists”.
According to the SD leader, it is “good” that such people now have somewhere to take the road, he says in an interview with the TV4 News.
“I think the amount of extremists in the Swedish electorate is quite limited, so I’m not very worried,” says Åkesson to the TV channel.
However, TV4’s political commentary Ulf Kristofferson believes that Jimmie Åkesson is more worried than he wants to give up, and that the new party can attract several thousand Swedish Democrats, including those who have been ruled out or for various reasons have left SD.
In what way Alternatives to Sweden are extremists, no Åkesson was developed. Most of the party boards are, according to the party’s website, academics, including doctors, historians, lawyers and civil engineers.

Kasselstrand: SD slits apart from destructive battles

    DOMESTIC 08:58
He was thrown out of Sweden Democrats after several years of fighting with the party leadership.
Now Gustav Kasselstrand promises to take SD votes with his newly launched party Alternative for Sweden.
“From earlier opposition, SD today is a party torn apart by destructive battles and the pursuit of money,” says former SDU-top Gustav Kasselstrand.
Gustav Kasselstrand stood on the scene of a nightclub in central Stockholm on Monday night and sluggish wildly against his old party, the Swedish Democrats.
SD is not enough anymore. The state’s condition can be described as being paralyzed, he said from the stage.
    – Are the Swedish Democrats the solution to our problems?
The rhetorical question was met with burop from the audience. It consisted of fine-tuned former SD members and others who want a more radical political alternative to the Swedish Democrats.
They ate at the buffet from the buffet and excited at Kasselstrand’s outcome from the stage.
“SD is tired, saturated and comfortable”
With its wages at the 100,000-krone level, SD is “saturated, tired and comfortable,” said Kasselstrand.
“From earlier in opposition, it is today a party torn apart by destructive battles and the pursuit of money.
For several years he led the youth federation, SDU. The struggles with the SD leadership have been many and tough, but in the autumn of 2015, Jimmie Åkesson received enough. The SD leadership ruled out Kasselstrand and his acquaintances from the party and formed a whole new youth federation.
Kasselstrand’s return to the political scene on Monday evening also contained a dark description of the situation in Sweden, which “is on the verge of the ruin”.
“Sweden serves as a horror example in the world. The fastest falling star in the western world.
    “Group to be Grouped”
The reason for this is to be found in the “unhealthy alliance” between politicians and journalists who embodied the truth of the Swedish people.
Therefore, he promises to “prioritize Swedes in front of foreigners” and to “group by group”.
“We are Sweden’s immigration party. We want to introduce an immediate asylum stop accompanied by an active immigration policy. Without these two measures, we can never address the problems that characterize our country, said Kasselstrand.
His political role models are the right-wing and populist parties in Europe. French Front National, Austrian FPÖ and German AfD, Alternative for Deutschland.
The time of the old parties is past, Kasselstrand says, and promises to take alternatives to Sweden into the parliament after the fall of the fall.
“There is a widespread dissatisfaction with the established parties throughout the electorate. These types of parties can quickly pop up and challenge the old parties who do not understand what is about to happen, Kasselstrand says to Aftonbladet after the speech.
“Half-fascistoid, young men with Napoleonic complex”
The outcome of his old party, the Swedish Democrats, describes him as “constructive criticism”.
During the enduring conflict of autumn 2015, SD group leader Mattias Karlsson called Kasselstrand and his closest to a shock of “half-fascistoids, self-reliant, young, angry men (or women, of course) with Napoleon complexes.”
How does that kind of criticism affect your credibility?
“I think it affects in particular his credibility.
    How do you mean?
“If you are on Facebook and write filler status that other people are half-fascist, then it’s the credibility of the person who is most threatened,” says Gustav Kasselstrand.

  6. President of Bulgaria thanked the European Union for the liberation of the country from the Ottoman yoke

Bulgarian President Rumen Radev thanked the EU countries for helping to free the country from the Ottoman yoke, which occurred on March 3, 1878 as a result of the defeat of the Turkish troops by the Russian army. The Bulgarian leader expressed his gratitude to the diplomats from European countries during the solemn reception on the occasion of the national holiday at the presidential residence.

“We will not forget the help that the Germans, the French, the Portuguese, the Dutch, the Finns, the Latvians, Lithuanians and Estonians rendered us. This is a holiday not only for Bulgaria, but for the whole of the European Union and NATO, “Radev said.

This is very funny. The liberation of Bulgaria from the Ottoman yoke cost a huge number of Russian lives. But Bulgaria has not invited Russian representatives for many years to celebrate the date of liberation.
They say that Erdogan is going to restore the Ottoman Empire.
Well, he would have started with Bulgaria.

It is interesting that the text in Wikipedia about this event in Russian and English is very different. In the English version of the merit of the Russians in the liberation of Bulgaria, not a word is said.
