College professors at Maisonneuve self-censor

A “very deep” malaise has taken hold of the teaching profession: teachers practice self-censorship to avoid hurting the religious or cultural beliefs of their students. They ignore works about sexuality, nudity or mental illness for fear of triggering an explosive controversy.
This troubling observation is part of a report on the “COEXIST” milieu at Collège de Maisonneuve, made public Friday. This CEGEP [public educational institution that constitutes the first stage of Québec higher education], east of Montreal has been a place of radicalization of students who went to wage jihad in Syria for three years.
The religious tensions calmed down in the establishment of 7,000 students, who took a series of measures so that peace would return within its walls. A pilot project on “COEXIST”, which has just ended, however, brought to light a real uneasiness among college teachers.
7,000 — This is the number of students attending Collège de Maisonneuve, half of whom come from recent immigration.
“The main problem lies in the fact that many teachers claim to have adopted a form of self-censorship over time (especially in the last decade or so) and thus have avoided being inconvenienced by cultural or religious clashes. For example, particular contents may be discussed only superficially, significant works are not touched, humorous remarks put aside, etc.,” says the report of the pilot project on “COEXIST”.
“One cannot help but note here that in most cases these changes are made in advance, and not necessarily as a result of an intercultural incident. The phrase ‘I buy peace’ is, in this respect, symptomatic. If the threat is not always real, the discomfort, meanwhile, is very deep, and reminds some teachers of periods when censorship and blacklisting were well-established. The stakes are far from trivial,” the document continues.
Cultural and religious diversity is partly responsible for the malaise. About half of Collège de Maisonneuve students are first- or second-generation immigrants, i.e. the students or their parents were born abroad.
The report notes that young people are comfortable with diversity. This is the reality of Montreal: they grew up alongside friends from all backgrounds. It is relationships with adults (especially teachers) that give rise to tension, explains the 98-page document.
No matter how absurd it is, the danger that threatens us is from the west nowadays. This danger is held over our heads by politicians from Brussels, Berlin and Paris. They want to force us to adopt their policies, the policies that made them migrant-accepting countries, and opened the gates for the decline of Christian culture, and for the expansion of Islam. They want us to accept migrants, too, and also become mixed-race countries.
Yesterday afternoon Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán gave his annual state-of-the-nation speech in Budapest. As usual, he took a forthright stance against the migration quotas and other ukases emanating from Brussels. In his staunch resistance to Politically Correct Multiculturalism, Mr. Orbán stands head and shoulders above all other leaders of Western countries.

If they say to somebody today, “Hungary”, he will think of Budapest, [Lake] Balaton, the gorgeous Hungarian women, goulash and good wines. If they say “Hungarian politics”, then we can be sure that he thinks of Fidesz [Young Democrats] …the more refined ones think of Fidesz-KDNP [Young Democrats-Christian Democratic Party]; that is understandable, because twice we won with two-thirds, and we were able to govern the country without coalition constraints.
Hungary became well-appreciated. Our recognition and influence is more widespread than could be expected based on our size and economic strength. To what might we owe this result? Primarily to the fact that the Fidesz and KDNP over the last eight years suspended political correctness. We deep-sixed the Euro-blah-blah, the liberal artsy-craftsy, the empty doubletalk. We sent the muzzle back to Brussels and the leash to the IMF.
Look around at the Europe of coalition constraints and liberal dictates. In Budapest, plain speech is in fashion. Unequivocal words and sentences. In Budapest we want to say what we think, and we want to do what we say. This is a great luxury in today’s European politics, and we Hungarians are frolicking in it, but it would be nice if less of the water would splatter onto the bank.
Ladies and gentlemen, concerning Hungarian politics here and abroad, we [Fidesz] bring to mind that it was not free. The Fidesz was established thirty years ago. We have a long road behind us, hard battles, perseverance, fidelity, camaraderie. Fidelity and service toward Hungary, unity and camaraderie for each other. Moreover, every Hungarian knows us, recognizes us. They know we are not blowing smoke. We do not get carried away with the temptation to be hyperbolical. What we say, we think through seriously. What we undertake, we earnestly attempt. But we work hard, and at the end we make it happen; we usually reach our goals. If it had not already been reserved, I could say, “We are the calm force”. We are ourselves, and we do not sell a pig in a poke. We are anti-Communists and patriots; we passionately love Hungary and we are ready to do anything for her. This is what differentiates us from the other political parties. But it is most absurd that a national party [Jobbik] — which has seen better days — came up with a slogan in these baneful and migrant-cursed times, that “Islam is the last hope of humanity”. Well, the chin drops, and we can’t believe our ears, someone should pinch us — if we are dreaming, we could wake up. But no, all is in vain. That is the present Hungarian reality and today’s selection; these are the ones registered as candidates for governing. In a manly and firm way, I can only say: Hungary deserves better!
No wonder, then, that the mood in the country is not for government-changing, but for opposition-changing. For the strength of a sentence, let’s take them seriously and let’s state it; we are the ones who think: Europe’s last hope is Christianity! Today when… …today when — today when the European PEOPLE talk about Christianity — this distinction is important — they think of their culture and their way of life. That is why in Hungary, based on research and analysis, 78% of people want us to preserve our Christian culture and Christian heritage.
Respected ladies and gentlemen, when we think about the future and the election that lies ahead, it is worth noticing how much it has multiplied the number of analyses, prognoses and prophecies discussing the future of Europe in dark tones. Because of the migration, in the sky of Europe, dark clouds are gathering, say the pundits. Dark prophecies have always existed. That is the usual music accompanying European politics. What is worrisome in the present ones is that in their essence, they are mathematical. They speak of numbers, quantifiable changes, and numbers always have weight, even if they are only estimates. Based on the estimates, the rate of migration will accelerate in European countries to the west of us. About France and the Netherlands I prefer to say nothing, but the birthrate of [native] Germans in most major cities is decreasing. Because the migrants always take over the major cities first. In Bavaria, for example, nowadays they spend more money on migrants, for immigration and integration, than for the economy, environmental protection, and state healthcare budgets combined! When I was in Vienna, I also heard that in this school year, the school data surprised everybody. For those just starting school, the number of Muslim children soared. This is the future that has already become the present there.
Based on NATO reports — it looks like the soldiers have not yet let them be censored — by 2020 around 60 million people will begin their march towards Europe. There is also agreement that Africa will manifest a level of power exceeding all previous expectations. By 2050, their population will double and become more than 2.5 billion. They will have ten times more young people than Europe. Two paths lie ahead for Africa. One of them is to repeat the achievements that China, India, Indonesia or Vietnam have already shown in Asia, to the amazement of the entire world. By other means, perhaps, but they may fight their way out of poverty, set their economies on the path of growth, and slowly take leadership of the world economy. Their success would remind us that it is not history that shapes demography, but demography that shapes history. About this lesson — like a class raconteur — we Hungarians could tell a lot of stories.
The other possibility is that Africa is not capable of setting foot on the path of Asian-style development, and will not be able to create humane circumstances for their young people. If they let these hundreds of millions strong youthful crowd make their way North, then Europe will be soon under terrible pressure. Moreover, most of the immigrants will be arriving from the world of Islam. If everything continues as it is today, Europe’s largest cities will have an unequivocal Muslim majority, and London will not be a cuckoo’s egg, but the first swallow [not an exception, but first of many]. Our culture, our identity and our nations, as we know them today — if everything continues — will cease to exist; our worst nightmares will come true. The West will fall, while Europe does not even realize it is being invaded.
Would they be right, those who say civilizations do not get murdered, but commit suicide? Many believe that if this is to come about, it will happen a long time from now. Those who think in such a fashion, I believe, are mistaken. The analysis looks ahead to 2050, and those who are my age will have arrived in their eighties. So we will be able to see with our own eyes what direction the future of the West took. Not to mention our children and grandchildren.
The barbarians are among us. They are not lurking on the right or lower edges of society, they are not among the uneducated or the educationally failed, they do not come from under-developed regions. They are sitting at the levers of influence in art and science, they write in quality publications, discuss at universities, manage art galleries, dominate the talk shows. Nonetheless, they are barbarians, for in their innermost being, they despise art.
Under the pretext of fighting sexism and racism, they whitewash poems, make pictures disappear from museums, re-touch films, boycott concerts. Replete with the idea that subjective shock and politically correct thinking make anything permissible, they are instituting cleansing actions intended to free the world of all esthetic double meanings, provocations, disturbances and asymmetries of appetite.
Faulty reasoning that would not be countenanced in a pro-seminar now belongs — in the truest sense of the word — to high fashion. For instance, the confusion of a work’s validity and its genesis. It seems to be a given, according to present-day standards, that a work of art must do penance because its creator led a perhaps not entirely blameless life. On the other hand, no artist can be so above reproach that he cannot be suspected of offending someone with his work. Forgotten or demonstratively ignored is the fact that historical context can also play a role in the judgment of art; that profound knowledge could protect against intuiting sexism behind every instance of female nudity.
Of course, none of the new enemies of art wants to censor ideas, works or thoughts. A 19th-century painting of a mythological scene in which wanton nymphs entice a young man to his doom is only taken down for the purpose of — as it is so prettily phrased — provoking a discussion. Someone here has basically misunderstood something. If I want to discuss a work of art and its ambivalence — even discuss its darker side — I have be able to see it, experience it, study it. Taking this one step further might be making judgments only about texts you have not read. But what is the next step here? Shared — or feigned — understanding for the activities of the new barbarians, even in the most sophisticated feuilletons, is not so much evidence of a deliberative analysis as the expression of a deep-seated pusillanimity. Hardly anyone wants to openly defend art which may arbitrarily be suspect of sexist, misogynist or racist attributes. That the quality of a work of art is not programmatic, and that works of art are also valued because the contradiction of form and content, makes possible an oscillation between affirmation and criticism — this concept is not only too complex a thought for the simplistic moralism of our time, but is also apparently no longer a viable means of esthetic perception for many people.
A gunman opened fire inside a church in Dagestan in the Russian Caucasus, killing four people and wounding four others before being killed himself. The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack. Voices were raised in the Dumas calling for tighter gun control in Russia.
OK, so I made that last part up. But still…

Intelligence and integrity are not a prerequisite for a political career. Personal ambition and acquisitiveness, deviousness, moral turpitude and a surfeit of treacherous ideological baggage yes, but not necessarily intelligence and integrity.
In Western democracies those few intelligent and ethical men and women who do achieve some sort of prominence in politics are ridiculed, then demonized and eventually then destroyed by the overwhelming majority of corrupt and fearful intellectual dwarves who surround them.
Furthermore, the metropolitan chatterati, scrabbling for a ride on the shirttails of influential plutocrats and kleptocrats and fawning, attention-seeking and often bodyguarded ‘celebrities — few of the latter having more than two neurons to rub together — cry wolf as the deplorable sheep cry for help. Yet those same sheep that make up the ill-informed electorate consistently aid and abet their tormenters via the ballot box. As a consequence all are lumbered with governments (in the UK those determined by a first-past-the-post system) which are representative only of a noisy and influential minority, not the so effectively disenfranchised majority.
However, history shows us that bread and circuses do serve a purpose, and this purpose comes to dangerous prominence when a body politic ignores, fails to understand or fails to correct the fundamental flaw in the theory of democracy.
“Where there exists a superimposed universal franchise, based on citizenship awarded through the happenstance of parentage and nativity — or simply for being a member of an imported and protected alien sub-culture — rather than upon the value of one’s contributions to the overall welfare and stable continuity of the collective entity, then eventually a tipping point is reached where the voting biomass of predators and parasites comes to outnumber the net contributors.
“Then no government so elected has any other option but to bleed the latter dry and to subsidise the former so as to sustain their electoral base. It is by such a process that the moral, cultural, social and fiscal wealth of nations hemorrhages away and the descent into conflict and chaos begins.”
This has come about because the people now in charge in most Western countries have dangerous fantasies about the future of society and the nature of man. The sycophantic mass media are just a virulent propaganda arm for those fantasists. Fellow travelers without a functional moral compass between them, they consistently deny that race is real, ethnicity is real and evolution is real, and that in the main humans prefer to live with their own kind for good reason, because all the evidence shows that diversity leads to conflict, always. And the current conflict that is all about us is illustrated by one defining characteristic.
“We in the West are a previously homogenous ethno-cultural entity that has been forced down by its ruling classes to such a moral nadir that it must turn a blind eye to the serial predation against its women and children whilst protecting and nurturing the predators. This is now the defining characteristic of the European entity as we totter on the precipice of extinction.”
Yet this righteous self-delusion in the name of Multiculturalism is not accidental, but the result of a sustained campaign of reverse social engineering, the aim of which has been to destabilise us by slowly eroding and eventually curetting our core socio-moral determinants. It is a process that will destroy our civilisation within a very short period, because it directly attacks and undermines the foundations of our nation states.
Back in December we reported on a sad incident that occurred in the Spandau district in Berlin, where a culture-enricher became angry at his native German girlfriend and threw her in the River Havel. He then made the mistake of jumping in after her to push her down to make sure she drowned, forgetting that he himself was unable to swim. His victim managed to swim to the bank and climb up a ladder, but her erstwhile boyfriend remained out there floundering in the icy water until emergency services personnel were able to pull him out.
Now, two months later, the unfortunate lad — who never regained consciousness — has succumbed to his injuries. This enricher is no more. He has ceased to be. Bereft of life, he rests in peace. He’s kicked the bucket. He’s shuffled off this mortal coil, rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible. This is an ex-enricher.

A 19-year-old is dead
Afghan wanted to drown his ex-girlfriend, but he couldn’t swim

Spandau — After a fight with his girlfriend, a 19-year-old went completely insane, and wanted to drown the girl in the river Havel. The 17-year-old was able to save herself, the perpetrator (a non-swimmer) sank in the icy water. And now he has passed away from the consequences.
On December 19th, according to the findings of the police, the asylum seeker from Afghanistan pushed his 17-year-old German girlfriend on Spandauer Bergwall into the Havel. Then he jumped behind and tried several times to push the young woman under the water — but failed. Instead, the 17-year-old managed to swim away and reach the safe shore. The savage had less luck: since he couldn’t swim, he sank in the — only 2° (36°F) — cold Havel.
The fire brigade and water police who were called to the site were able to pull the Afghan out of the water and revive him. He was then taken to the intensive care unit of the Virchow Clinic. Here he immediately fell into a coma.
Although two days after the fact, the man was — according to public prosecutor’s office — “still not responsive” and was still in a coma, nevertheless, an arrest warrant was issued against him “for attempted homicidal assault with low motives”.
On February 14, St. Valentine’s Day, the 19-year-old eventually died from the consequences of his evil deed, without ever having regained consciousness, as confirmed by the Senate justice administration on Friday.
His 17-year-old victim suffered from severe hypothermia following the attempted murder, but was otherwise uninjured.
A large mosque that is currently under construction in Umbria appears to have acquired its property and the necessary permits by misleading the Italian authorities and concealing its funding sources. Local residents — not to mention Matteo Salvini, the leader of the Lega Nord — are not happy with what is happening in Umbertide.

In the final days of the Italian election campaign, the center-right coalition led by Silvio Berlusconi’s Forza Italia is ahead in the polls. Matteo Salvini, the leader of the Lega Nord, made campaign stops in the south of Italy in an attempt to gain votes outside his usual area.
In possibly unrelated news, animal-rights activists are outraged by the efforts made by inmates to barbecue a dog at an immigrant “welcome center” in southern Italy.

A major Hungarian city submitted a brief video about itself to a European competition, only to be rejected at the entry level because the city was too, well, white. And Christian, too — another point against the city.

Székesfehérvár is my hometown, a thousand-year-old city, where the original Royal Court resided. Dozens of kings and queens are buried beneath the city’s cathedral, but it is also a modern town. Many high-tech companies set up shop here; the area is sometimes described as the “Hungarian Silicon Valley”.

EU Jury: In Székesfehérvár there are too many whites and too few migrants
An EU jury decided to recommend the entries by Győr, Debrecen and Veszprém for the finals of the European Capital of Culture (EKF 2023) project. Among the seven submissions to date, the EU’s “unrelated international experts” rejected the submission of Székesfehérvár’s debut film: “There are too many happy white people and crosses, and not enough migrants”.
Dr. András Cser-Palkovics, the Mayor, gave an extraordinary press conference on Wednesday after hearing of the ECF decision in Budapest.
Regarding the work of the jury, as a member of the delegation, he said that in fact no expert hearing was conducted, but was solely based on daily political issues, and accusations were directed at Székesfehérvár and the delegation.
Speaking about Wednesday’s hearing, Sr. András Cser-Palkovics said that when they presented the promotional film “Székesfehérvár Full of Life” — which can be accessed on YouTube, with over 3,000 visitors — one of the European Union’s experts said with astonishment:
“This is the propaganda film for white Christian Europe; everyone is white, happy and dancing in the streets.”
The mayor also recalled the criticisms made by the film committee about Székesfehérvár:
