Culture-Enriching Murder and Mayhem in Amsterdam

Gunfire broke out in Amsterdam this evening, leaving one person dead and two others wounded. The dead victim was a Moroccan; there’s no information yet about the ethnicity of the perpetrator(s). However, if the police suspected that a white person was responsible, you can bet that fact would splashed all over the headlines. Therefore, we may safely assume that this was enricher-on-enricher violence.

There is one dead in a shooting in Amsterdam. Two people were wounded. The incident occurred around 7:10pm on the Grote Wittenburgstraat on one of the Eastern Islands.

The police have spread out with large equipment and have closed the street. [The victim] was shot several times. The wounded were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. One of them is a girl. The detectives have started an extensive investigation.

Local residents say to Het Parool that the shots rang out in the community center. The masked perpetrators appeared to have been looking specifically for the victims. The dead victim is reported to be a young man of Moroccan descent. It is the second deadly shooting incident in two months in the neighborhood. In November, a 19-year-old boy was shot dead at the Kattenburgerkade. That incident happened a few hundred meters away.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and her party, the CDU, have reportedly made it clear that they will not change their policy on immigration into Germany. The Turkish-Kurdish War Spreads to the Mosques of Germany

Several days ago the Turkish army invaded the Kurdish region of northern Syria, causing unrest among German Muslims and mass brawls between Turks and Kurds in Germany.

Many thanks to Anton for translating this article from T-Online:

In German mosques, Union politicians criticize prayers for Turkey victory

January 23, 2018

Turkey has invaded northern Syria. Mosques in Germany are praying for the victory of the Turkish army. Union [CDU/CSU] politicians are outraged; they speak of “division” and “obedience to Turkey”.

Union politicians have criticized the call in mosques in Germany to pray for the victory of Turkey in northern Syria. “The call by imams in Germany to pray for the Turkish victory in the fight against the Kurds is strange: such a call divides sections of the population and makes the mood dangerous,” said Union Group Vice-President Stephan Harbarth.

“Do not want that conflict be imported to Germany”

“We do not want political or military conflicts from other regions to be imported into Germany,” added the CDU politician and called on all sides to restraint and prudence. “We want to live peacefully, and to have peace among all the people in our country.”

The group’s political spokesman, Stephan Mayer, told Reuters that if the media reports were correct, DITIB imams provided another example of their “obedience to Turkey” over the weekend. “This foreign influence on the Islamic communities in Germany is unacceptable,” said the CSU politician. More imams trained in Germany would be needed. Foreign imams would have to be checked on their constitutionality before their entry into the country.

Prayers for the “heroic soldiers”

According to Spiegel Online [Magazine], imams of the Islamic Association DITIB have called on German Muslims to pray for a victorious Turkish offensive against Kurdish militias in Syria. The online portal reported Facebook entries of several imams. It was said that an imam in Baden-Wuerttemberg was praying that “our heroic army and our heroic soldiers will be victorious”.

The Turkish Islamic Union of the Institute for Religion (DITIB) is by far the largest Muslim organization in Germany. But it is controversial because of its proximity to the Turkish leadership, headed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Critics accuse DITIB of being increasingly conservative, the Turkish government policy appropriate attitude. DITIB describes itself as a non-partisan organization.

The Wretched Refuse of Ventimiglia

The town of Ventimiglia lies on the border between France and Italy. It is a major transit point for migrants that arrive in Lampedusa, Sicily, etc., and want to move on to points north. The French authorities do their best to try to stop “refugees” from crossing the border. As a result, migrants have accumulated in large numbers in a camp in Ventimiglia, on the Italian side of the border. The following video shows the clean-up of the camp.

Stabbed to Death in a Dortmund School

The following report by Egri Nök was published earlier at Vlad Tepes in a slightly different form.

Deadly Stabbing in German School: Attacker Says Victim Had Looked at His Mother “Provocatively”

by Egri Nök

An original translation of a press release by the Dortmund Police.

Dortmund (ots) — Joint Press Release of Dortmund Prosecution and Dortmund Police

As announced in press releases no. 0141, 0142 and 0144, Dortmund police formed a Kap commission to investigate after a homicide in a school at Dammwiese in Lünen.

According to the current state of investigations, the accused and his mother had an appointment with the school’s community worker. According to the community worker, the 15-year-old has a police record for violence, and was deemed aggressive and unfit for school, and had, for these reasons, temporarily attended a different school. But this measure failed, which was why he was to now attend Käthe Kollwitz school again.

While they were waiting for their appointment, the future victim encountered the attacker. According to the suspect, the victim looked at his mother repeatedly in a provocative manner. This angered the 15-year-old so much that he stabbed a knife into his schoolmate’s neck.

Before the deed, there were already confrontations between the later victim and the suspect. Investigations will have to probe whether this was the ultimate motive.

The postmortem confirmed that the violence was cause of the death. The weapon was seized at the scene of the crime.

The police records on the accused are meagre, and do not show earlier relations with the victim.

The victim’s family is being taken care of by Dortmund police’s office for the protection of victims.

The 15-year-old will appear before the committing magistrate tomorrow.

Translator’s note:

According to Dortmund police, the victim is a 14-year-old German boy from Lünen; the perpetrator is a 15-year-old boy, born in Germany, but with Kazakh and German nationality.
