Michael Stürzenberger’s Conviction Overturned

Michael Stürzenberger is a well-known Islam-critic who was a staunch campaigner against the proposed mega-mosque in Munich. He is also well-known for work on behalf of Die Freiheit and his articles for Politically Incorrect.

As we reported last summer, Mr. Stürzenberger was convicted and sentenced to six months in prison for posting a photo of a Nazi and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem on his Facebook page.

I just received word from a source close to Michael Stürzenberger that the court of appeal has overturned his conviction. I don’t have any more information at this point; specifically, I don’t know whether there is a higher judicial level to which the prosecution can appeal.

In any case, it’s very good news for Mr. Stürzenberger and the German Counterjihad.

  1. This was and is one hot, hot photo. It is the ‘smoking gun’ that tells you all you need to know about the roots of ‘Palestinianism’. The ludicrous attacks in the press often mislead people to believe that it was ‘some sort of extreme right wing site glorifying a picture of Hitler’.

    • Roots of “Palestinianism”: Soviet Ideology, Nazism, the Koran.

What a triumvirate!! And the EU’s ‘all in’!

  2. yes, there is a higher level of court, two more as a matter of fact, but in this case- conviction overturned by ” Landgericht” , maybe district court in your jurisdictional system, the next higher level would be ” Oberlandesgericht” which is a pure level of appeal, meaning they just check for faultive conclusions or rulings of the court, they do not again evaluate facts or evidence of the lower level. The judges of Oberlandesgerichte are sharp knives in my experience, career jurists. In my case and my favour, the virtually slapped – verbally- the ruling of the lower level. In their lingo, it sounds like : It is not conclusive that…..! Furthermore, the court has not taken into consideration that…. , and so on. It was about a real estate transaction.
The supreme court did not accept an appeal for lack of general importance for further jurisdiction.

  3. So the Trump Effect strikes again?..After all the Trump name is of German origin..What kind of hell to have to go through for your/one’s own commonsensical beliefs.Time to invade Germany again while the tide is in our favour.,Happy for Mr.Sturzenberger and fellow compatriotes.,The Squits lose again..

  4. This man stand up for a sake of this beautiful but dying cultural country, it’s just heartbreaking, why people have to suffer in the own country for nothing, it’s just disgusting..

  5. Yes, good news, but let’s not lose sight of the fact that, as Mark Steyn puts it, “the process is the punishment” …

If anyone is put through what Sturzenberger’s faced, how would they survive this without it impacting their career, or personal life?
