As Oz-Rita reported earlier today, elected officials in the Paris suburb of Clichy-la-Garenne caused a ruckus by staging a public protest against Muslim street prayers.

Where I would fellowship is either a 45 minute walk for two of the places or a half an hour drive for the third place. I don’t know of any stricture in the Qur’an that requires a mosque to be within a certain distance of a residence. As long as your feet measure to the ground you can deal with it along with the rest of us. Try commuting to work sometime, if you work at all. That takes upwards of an hour on a good day.

It is a mistake to assume that the “leaders” do not understand the situation and that is the reason for their criminal lethargy in the face of Muslim aggression. You do not get to be the leader of a country or state by being stupid, although being a sociopath self-promoter is definitely a big advantage.
There is, however, the phenomenon that people pursuing a completely irrational course of action defend themselves by reacting with blind fury and personal accusations when confronted with reality. I think Occam’s Razor suggest the sociopath, rather than the blinkers, as the most likely explanation.

Japan has a law that prohibits the practice of religion outside shrines or your home – this law should be passed all over the world. When muslims tried to pray in the streets of a Japanese town, the police beat the [effluent] out of them and several were deported, with a ban to entry the country again (that’s another great law, as an immigrant once you break a law, you get deported and can’t enter again).
Sounds like the Japanese are smarter than the rest of us. I rate “common sense “as a trait of true intelligence.

A secular France will never be able to defend herself from islamisation. Only a Christian France could do it (remember Charles Martel).
These street prayers should be seen in the context of al-Qaradawi’s ‘coming phase’
