Baton Rouge Lawyer Accused of Soliciting Woman for Prostitution, Shooting Man in Chest
Bradley Wood, 42, contacted a woman through an internet app used for the solicitation of prostitution, Baton Rouge police said in an affidavit of probable cause. Wood agreed to pay the woman, identified as 34-year-old Kayla David, for a sexual encounter.
On Wednesday, David went to meet Wood at a home on Camelia Avenue. She went to the door while a man who accompanied her parked a U-Haul truck on a nearby street.
While on the porch, Wood allegedly became aggressive with David and tried to pull her into the home. The man in the U-Haul truck ran to the porch to defend her, according to the arrest reports.
Wood and the man began to fight, and Wood allegedly shot the man twice in the chest. David took the man to Baton Rouge General Hospital, where he was rushed into surgery with life-threatening injuries, according to the arrest reports.
Detectives went to Wood’s home, but he would not come to the door. After several hours, he attempted to sneak out of the home and was detained by a police officer, according to the arrest reports.
Wood, 904 Camelia Ave., Baton Rouge, was taken into custody and booked on counts of attempted second-degree murder, solicitation of prostitution and illegal use of a weapon.
David, 4720 Thomas Road, Baton Rouge, was booked on one count of prostitution.

Latest: Florida Man Fatally Stabbed Leaving Halloween Party Saved His Brother
Authorities are searching for the people who stabbed a man after a Halloween party in Miami.
Alex Restrepo, 33, a nuclear engineer, was leaving a Halloween party in Miami-Dade County with his brother on Saturday when the pair were ambushed and attacked, according to WPLG.
Christopher Restrepo was stabbed in the arm and Alex was fatally stabbed in the back during the attack, which neighbors said was caught on surveillance video.
“He saved my life, because he was fighting off, I don’t know how many guys, for me to be able to get away,” Christopher Restrepo told WPLG.
Investigators are asking for witnesses to step forward and provide information regarding the attackers…

Rapid City Police Find Car Used to Hit Pedestrian; Suspects Still at Large
A car that police say was used to hit a pedestrian this evening near the Roosevelt Swim Center has been found, Rapid City police said in a release.
However, authorities are still looking for the occupants of the car, who were described as two men and a woman.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m. near the Roosevelt Swim Center parking lot, 125 Waterloo St. A white 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer drove onto the sidewalk close to the basketball courts and began speeding toward pedestrians, according to a release from the Rapid City Police Department.
One pedestrian was hit and suffered serious injuries, the release said. The person, whose name was not released, was taken to a local hospital.

Who would you say is the most dangerous terrorist organization in the world? ISIS? Al Qaeda? Hezbollah? Boko Haram? Taliban? Al Shabaab? All these groups are lethal and responsible for the deaths of 100’s of thousands in just the last 20 years.
On in September 11, 2001 we witnessed the deaths of nearly 3,000 within the borders of the United States masterminded by Al Qaeda. They are also responsible for the US Embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania, the train bomb in Madrid, the 7/7 attack in London, to mention a few.
The Taliban is responsible for the deaths of over 170,000 in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Boko Haram has slaughtered over 5,000 in Chad and Niger. Hezbollah, a Shia group in Lebanon, killed 285 Marines in the Beirut bombing of 1983, not to mention the thousands they have killed in the region. The Somalian Jihadis, called Al Shabaab, with their army of 9,000 launched their cleansing campaign in 2012 butchering thousands.
Perhaps you might elect ISIS as the most dangerous for the ghastly attacks of the Christians, Yazidis and others in Iraq and Syria. Although ISIS is certainly the most gruesome and the most influential on the Internet, they and the above-mentioned groups, are not the most dangerous. The most dangerous is not the most lethal nor the most gruesome. The most dangerous Islamic terrorist organization is the Muslim Brotherhood.
The MB (Muslim Brotherhood) is most dangerous because they have chosen the smartest and most effective plan to destroy their enemies. They have chosen a stealthy warfare and have strong and growing operations throughout Europe and North America. The terrorism is dangerous but it is more of a distraction to their deadlier actions. It is like a magician. He will draw your attention to one hand and get you to watch it closely so you do not observe what he is doing with the other hand. He conceals his more important work. Trump Blocks Full Release of JFK Assassination Records After Last Minute CIA Push
With much of America clicking furiously all day Thursday on the website of the National Archives, hoping to be among the first to catch the release of thousands of previously unseen JFK Assassination records, the U.S. government was in danger of missing the deadline to release the trove of previously classified records from the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, “adding an unexpected twist to a saga already rife with rumors and conspiracies” according to NBC.
Caving to lobbying pressure by intelligence agencies, Trump announced he would not order the release of the full tranche of records, instead following last-minute recommendations of his national security agencies that some of those records be redacted, White House officials said. During a call with reporters, White House officials explained that while some 2,800 JFK records will be released today, the publications of the remaining records has been postponed for 180 days to give agencies more time to figure out what they want redacted. By late Thursday afternoon, the memo specifying which material the CIA, State Department and other agencies still want to keep under wraps had yet not made it to Trump’s desk, intel officials told NBC News.

What Happened to Las Vegas Shooter’s Hard Drive? It’s a Mystery
Local and federal investigators still have not come up with a motive that sparked a Nevada man to commit one of the deadliest mass shootings in American history. More than three weeks after Stephen Paddock opened fire and killed 58 people and wounded hundreds of others attending a country music festival below his Las Vegas hotel room, authorities appear stumped about uncovering a critical piece of information—Paddock’s hard drive—that could potentially lead them to other suspects.
Some perpetrators of mass violence leave behind manifestos of sorts, like the one from Theodore Kaczynski, the Unabomber. His 35,000-word manifesto railing against technology paved the way for his 1996 arrest after his brother, David, realized it was written by his sibling. Paddock, who killed himself in his Mandalay Bay hotel room after the October 1 shooting rampage, hasn’t left any hint of a motive to explain his murders.
The FBI is currently examining computers and cellphones in the FBI’s lab in Quantico tied to the Paddock case. However, a hard drive in a laptop found in the shooter’s hotel room is now missing, according to The Associated Press.
Investigators suspect Paddock removed the hard drive from the laptop after he opened fire from his high-rise suite at Mandalay Bay into a crowd at a country music festival, killing 58 people and wounded hundreds of others, the official said.

Three Canadians Tortured in Syria Receive $31-Million Settlement From Ottawa
OTTAWA—Three Muslim Canadian men, detained and tortured in the Middle East during the security clampdown that followed 9/11, will get $31.25 million from the federal government.
The payout was kept secret until this month and is part of a legal settlement that was first reported by the Star in February and announced by the Liberal government weeks later.
The resolution and accompanying government apology put an end to a nine-year court battle for compensation that has been demanded since 2008, when a former Supreme Court judge blamed Canadian officials partly for the men’s ordeals.
Between 2001 and 2003, Abdullah Almalki, Ahmad El Maati and Muayyed Nureddin were separately jailed in Syria and tortured by interrogators who acted, in part, on information from the Canadian spy agency CSIS and the RCMP. Former Supreme Court justice Frank Iacobucci concluded, in his 2008 report on their cases, that Canadian agents labelled the men Islamic extremists and shared information with other countries without proper precautions about its unreliability.

Here is an email I got shortly afterwards from a guy at the completely unbiased and apolitical (lol) fact-checking organization Snopes. …
Second, because these climate alarmists use the same old tricks again and again to prop up their junk science scam. It’s always a good idea to expose these tricks, to show the guy behind the curtain pulling all the levers, because once you know what these people’s game is, their dark magic loses its power.
That’s how I became one of the world’s most notorious and widely-read climate skeptics: not because I have a science degree — which I don’t — but because I am able to explain this dogs breakfast of a shambles of a conspiracy to defraud the taxpayer in language that normal people can understand.
For people like the guy from Snopes who sent me that impertinent email, my tell-it-like-it-is approach is a form of Lèse majesté. It doesn’t treat their beloved Consensus with the unthinking respect they require. It’s the little boy pointing at the Emperor and saying he is wearing no clothes.
They hate that. Hence the contempt dripping from Snopes Boy’s questions, which I’m going to answer in reverse order. …
There are lots of reasons why someone involved in climate science might not want to feature in a Breitbart story with the glaring, clickbait headline “Now 400 Scientific Papers in 2017 say ‘Global Warming’ is a Myth”.
One is naked fear. As we know from the Climategate emails, the global warming Establishment is a cabal of bullies. Not only is dissent not tolerated but it is ruthlessly crushed. Skeptics are rarely published, except in obscure journals not controlled by the Alarmist Mob; almost never granted tenure. As a result, no scientist in this field would wish to be seen visibly going against “the Consensus”.
One is dishonesty. (Or, if you prefer to be more generous, cognitive dissonance). I discuss this in some detail here. Basically, some alarmists are so determined never to admit that they’re wrong that they’ll actually go so far as to deny the evidence of their own papers. This is what happened with the Nature Geoscience paper I wrote about here. It admitted that the computer models were wrong and that — therefore — their doomsday predictions were overdone. But when people like me pointed this out, the authors furiously denied it.
One is dimness. Yes, I dare say it’s true that literally none of those 400 scientific papers uses the phrase “‘global warming’ is a myth.” Anyone who read the piece beyond the deliberately provocative, attention-grabbing headline, however, would find it hard to dispute the premise because it’s bang on the money.

UK: Woman Who Dreamt of Beheading Katie Hopkins Found Guilty of Terror Offences
A woman who fantasised about beheading Katie Hopkins has been convicted of terrorism offences.
Madihah Taheer, 21, from Birmingham, was found guilty at Woolwich Crown Court of preparing to commit terrorist acts.
Her husband Ummar Mirza and his sister Zainub Mirza had already pleaded guilty to similar offences, with all three due to be sentenced on 1 December.
The trial heard how Taheer and her partner Mirza had boasted to each other about their extremist views and discussed how they would celebrate their marriage by carrying out an attack.
In one exchange between the couple, Ummar Mirza wrote: “The day of nikkah [wedding], I’ll kill em all. Give me the list, the only thing that stops me is we are not married. I will defo, I’m not joking.”
Taheer responded: “Lool, u can’t have it til u put a ring on it.”

Facebook, Social Media, Aiding Jihad; Censoring Those Who Counter Jihad

That major technology companies are openly stifling the free speech of people trying to counter jihad is bad enough; what is beyond unconscionable is that they simultaneously enable Islamic supremacists to spread the very content that the counter-jihadists have been exposing.
According to the legal complaint, the names and symbols of Palestinian Arab terrorist groups and individuals were known to authorities, and “Facebook has the data and capability to cease providing services to [such] terrorists, but… has chosen not to do so.”
A separate lawsuit claims that Twitter not only benefits indirectly by seeing its user base swell through the increase of ISIS-linked accounts, but directly profits by placing targeted advertisements on them.

French Government Has Paid Out Nearly $600,000 to ISIS Fighters in Syria
Some 20 percent of French Islamic State fighters have been collecting social benefits from France to help finance the terror group, newspaper Le Figaro reported Thursday.
Jihadis have claimed unemployment benefits and family allowance for years while living in Syria. Over the past five years, some 500,000 euros ($583,200) have gone directly from the French taxpayers to the terror group, according to the report.
Investigators have uncovered a scam that involved 420 fraudulent withdrawals by jihadis in 2016 alone. At least 210 people received the money after family members withdrew cash at employment centers across the country.

Attacks on U.S. Diplomats is ‘Science Fiction’, Cuba Says
Some 2,000 investigators and scientists were assigned to uncover the mystery behind alleged sonic attacks against U.S. diplomats in Havana. Three hundred people were interviewed. Air and soil samples were analyzed. Hotel rooms and home surroundings were scoured for evidence.
Nothing was found — at least that’s what high-ranking Cuban military officials and investigators told NBC and Reuters this week in separate interviews.
Cuban officials in charge of the investigation in Havana emphatically denied that their government was involved in the attacks and dismissed the idea as “slander.”
“It is impossible. We’re talking about science fiction,” Lt. Col. José Alazo, head of the Interior Ministry’s criminal investigation unit (MININT), told Reuters.

Venezuela May be in Default in as Little as 48 Hours
With two critical debt repayment deadlines rapidly approaching, analysts are sounding the alarm that Venezuela may soon be in default.
PDVSA, the distressed socialist country’s state oil firm, must repay $842 million on a four-year bond on Friday and $1.12 billion on Nov. 2, according to the Financial Times. Danish Woman Given Just Three Months in Prison for Sexual Relations With Underage Asylum Seeker
A 52-year-old Danish woman has been sentenced by a court to a three-month conditional sentence after she was found guilty of engaging in sexual relations with an underage asylum seeker.
The 52-year-old was convicted of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male asylum seeker whom she befriended working at a home for children in Tullebølle. The woman was employed as a teaching assistant at the children’s home and will also have to pay 10,000 Danish krone (£1,200) in compensation to the teenager, Danish public broadcaster DR reports.

An investigative report by German media has revealed that security personnel in Berlin asylum homes have been forcing migrants, some of them underage, into prostitution.
The report, carried out by television programme Frontal 21, claims that security guards in various asylum homes have forced many migrants, men and women, into sex work. Newly released figures from the government of the German region of Saxony reveal the extent of crime in asylum homes showing there have been more than 2,000 criminal incidents including murder, rape, and physical violence.

People Smuggling Probe: More Than 25 Arrested in Overnight Raids Across UK and Europe
MORE than 25 people have been arrested in overnight raids across the UK and Europe as part of an international investigation into an alleged people smuggling ring.
Addresses in England, Bulgaria and Belgium — suspected of being linked to an organised criminal network — were targeted shortly after 5am on Thursday in a coordinated operation.
The Home Office said 11 people were taken into custody in London, Birmingham and Gateshead on suspicion of assisting illegal immigration, while a further 15 were arrested in Belgium and Bulgaria.
The individuals are alleged to have been involved in transporting migrants, mainly from Afghanistan, across Europe and into the UK, often by concealing them in adapted vehicles.

Police Find 15 Migrants at M2 Services at Farthing Corner in Rainham
A group of foreign nationals were found in the back of a lorry at the M2 Farthing Corner Services in Medway last night.
In total of 15 people, thought to be migrants, were found in the back of a foreign lorry at about 4.30pm on the London-bound side of the services in Rainham.
Police were called to the scene and found the group had got out of the vehicle. They were later placed in the care of immigration officials.

Smugglers Make £1 Million Day Trafficking Migrants From Bangladesh Across Med
THE Mediterranean migrant crisis is being fuelled afresh by criminal gangs making £1million a day smuggling over tens of thousands from as far away as Bangladesh.
An investigation by MPs found that while the number of war refugees from Syria crossing to Italy is going down, illegal immigrants from the poor Asian country are spiralling.

One quick look at the pictures in the article and it is clear the entire family are islamic fundamentalists. If the parents would have abandoned the strict religious indoctrination and instead integrated into the Australian culture, the jihadi recruiter (whoever that might be, but most likely a relative or a close friend of the family) would not have been able to convince all 4 brothers to go and murder in the name of the caliphate. The parents are not victims, they are responsible for their children’s deaths.
There is a very old truth, if you want independence, you better have an army to defend this independence, or side with somebody who has. The latter policy is dangerous but doable if you hold the rigtt cards. The people of Catalonia did not amase any army and do not hold the right cards. Tough luck

Without a Catalonian tank brigade and a couple infantry divisions the Catalonians are wasting everyone’s time by distracting people from more pressing problems.
Well, ‘might’ may be right in your assessment, but Spain is now on the cusp of creating its very own civil war, and regardless of the the accumulated might that Spain has over Catalonia, there is no guarantee for either side winning a clear victory if war erupts.
If a civil war is the result of Catalonian independence and for which they have just declared, then I predict that most of Europe will also soon be engulfed in such a war.
This is a truly gut-wrenching thing to say but it seems to be necessary. The concept of the just war come to mind.
What an awful mess we’ve been led to.
A civil war is exactly what happened the last time Catalonia went down this path.
And there a still a few people alive in Spain who are old enough to have experienced that civil war first hand, and a great many more who are the children of the veterans and survivors of that war.
Which is probably why the Spanish Govt is acting as strongly as it is.
If a minority has the right to tear a piece of a country off, then very soon, in a couple of years, we will have Kosovo’s all over the West, no country will be spared. There are already hundreds of muslim no-go zones, full of people who were born in Europe and have European citizenship. Muslims will soon be entitled to claim most Western European capitals and many major cities as their own and everybody else there will have to submit to their rules, their language, their culture.
Kosovo was a war for muslim colonization and the muslims succeeded to get other forces to fight for them. Catalonia is a war to destroy Europe and there are plenty of foreign elements that want to see it happen. USA won’t be spared either. A globalist’s wet dream.
I don’t think the break up of the E.U. is all part of a planned agenda – I believe what we are seeing within Brussels is a genuine concern to keep it all together.
Soros and his ‘donated’ 18 Billion, is a prime example in observing panicking Globalists. I wonder how many other ‘elites’ have ‘donated’ to try and arrest what is now unfolding?.
What I do see as part of an agenda, is massive civil unrest leading to wars within Europe that is expected to decimate national sovereignty once and for all, but as history repeatedly demonstrates, when civil wars or any war for that matter breaks out, there comes into play so many variables within the conflict that it is not possible to plan a determined outcome.
The Globalist mindset is such that they will allow the pieces from their contrived conflict to fall where they may so they can then determine, what will be made out of them.
In other words, order from chaos Globalist style.
It tends to be discounted that Europe, particularly Eastern Europe, still holds some tribal affiliations as being more worthy of respect than national sovereignty. After all, what are European peoples made up of but tribes who have progressed into national identities and borders.
If the Globalists think that Europeans will not unite in order for their own survival they are sadly mistaken.
And what better way to rid themselves of a few million more White Caucasians without really trying, than to orchestrate a massive conflict within Europe itself?
Obviously, both World Wars failed to achieve their intended targets for White Caucasian decimation.
Catalonians have all the right to secede. If “Kosovars” did, with the blessing of EU and US, why not Catalunya.
