A telltale sign of totalitarian leaning is the central role of the activist — what would later be called the “community organizer” or the environmental or human rights crusader. “The trouble” with these individuals, Conquest writes, is “a belief in various ‘certainties’ accepted on insufficient grounds” (199). I would say “carbon pollution” is one of these certainties, but other examples include the left’s stubborn refusal to face the threat of Islamic extremism (or even to utter the phrase) and the “certainty” that Islamists, beneath their rough exterior, are people like ourselves, civilized and open to reason.
There are other grand “certainties,” all of them fraudulent, surrounding issues such as gun control, transgenderism, abortion, and the implementation of single-payer health care. It was just such certainty over the “right” of homeownership, even by millions who possessed no ability to make mortgage payments, that precipitated the global financial crisis of 2008-2009. By forcing lower mortgage standards on banks, including no-doc and no-down payment loans, government fomented unprecedented speculation, leading to eventual collapse in 2007. As Peter Wallison has documented, beginning in the early 1990s, Rep. Barney Frank and others began a long campaign to cut lending standards so as to make middle-class housing widely available, even to those who were incapable of repaying their loans. This intrusion by the state into the market economy had disastrous consequences. Using its considerable regulatory power, government forced banks to go along.
It is just such a use of force based on ideological certainty that is the hallmark of totalitarianism. Asked to justify Stalin’s crimes, Western intellectuals such as George Bernard Shaw, Jean-Paul Sartre, Romain Rolland, and Eric Hobsbawm responded that the executions and deliberate starvation of millions were an acceptable price to pay for socialism. In this instance, “certainty” attached itself to a concept — the idea of a socialist utopia — that had ceased to hold any concrete meaning and that, as a reified abstraction tied to nothing real, could not be challenged by facts. Socialism was a word that was meant to end discussion — much like “climate change” today, where attempts to discuss the matter are generally met with the familiar response that “the science is settled.”
Or, more ominously, it is much like the sinister universalism that attempts to appease Islamic extremists or that concludes an agreement with Iran on the false certainty that all human beings are fundamentally rational and well meaning.

2nd Amendment Foundation Issues Travel Advisory: Your Gun Rights Are No Good in California
On August 7, the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) issued its first ever travel advisory warning American gun owners not to go to California unless they are willing to enter the state disarmed or risk going to jail.
The gun rights group is “warning law-abiding armed citizens that their civil rights could be in jeopardy due to that state’s restrictive gun control laws.”
SAF founder and executive vice president Alan Gottlieb observed:
The California Legislature has been out of control for years when it comes to placing restrictions on the Second Amendment rights of honest citizens. Right now, I wouldn’t suggest to any gun owner that they even travel through the state, much less to it as their final destination.
Lawmakers in Sacramento either ignored or have forgotten that in 2010, the U.S. Supreme Court incorporated the Second Amendment to the states via the 14th Amendment in SAF’s landmark case of McDonald v. City of Chicago. The Second Amendment’s protection of the right to keep and bear arms applies to state and local governments, but they seem rather oblivious to that fact in the halls of California’s Legislature.
He added:
If you are licensed to carry in your home state, that license is not recognized in California. It doesn’t matter how many background checks you’ve gone through or whether you took a gun safety course. Your license is no good in the Golden State, which suggests that your safety and the safety of your family are of no concern to state lawmakers or city administrators. You could be prosecuted for having a gun for personal protection, or you might get killed because you didn’t.

Deputies: Mass Stabbing Suspect Stopped When Fourth Target Pulled a Gun
Deputies say a suspect who allegedly stabbed three people in Seminole, Florida, stopped when a fourth individual pulled a gun on him.
The incident occurred Sunday afternoon in broad daylight.
According to The Patch, the incident began when witnesses alleged they saw 49-year-old Bobby Martin Watson trying to rob a woman in a Publix parking lot. Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office deputies indicate that the woman—44-year-old Rosanna Lynn—struggled with Watson and he stabbed her.
Watson then ran and a witness—44-year-old Christopher McMann—approached, only to get stabbed as well.

A University of Georgia professor has adopted a “stress reduction policy” that will allow students to select their own grades if they “feel unduly stressed” by the ones they earned.

Is the Deep State Plotting to Remove President Trump From Office Within the Next 6 Months?
Is Donald Trump even going to make it to the 2020 election? The rumors that the deep state is planning to make a big move to try to remove President Trump have become a deafening roar, and if they are ultimately successful they are going to unleash a time of chaos and civil unrest unlike anything this nation has ever seen before. At the outset of this article I want to make it exceedingly clear that I do not know what is going to happen over the next six months. I am simply passing along what is being reported by others. An awful ruling for pet owners has come from a federal court, in a ruling by U.S. District Court Judge George Caram Steeh. But the threat is not just to Fido and Fluffy, because, as anyone familiar with how precedent becomes corrupted knows, the ruling will be cited and abused far beyond its original, flawed bases.
C.J. Ciaramella writes about this ruling at Reason Magazine, in “Federal Judge Rules Unlicensed Dogs Aren’t Protected By Fourth Amendment.” In deciding an unlicensed dog is “contraband” not protected by the Fourth Amendment, the ruling confuses government “licenses” with “title,” i.e., private ownership and possession. The ruling will eventually be cited in cases involving property other than dogs and other unlicensed activity in our overly license-happy statist society.

Parents of Mass Shooting Victim Sued Ammo Dealer — Now They Face Bankruptcy
From the beginning, it was obvious that their lawsuit would go nowhere. There was no legal basis for it, because Lucky Gunner had done nothing illegal. In fact, the 2005 Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act was put in place specifically to protect gun companies like Lucky Gunner from frivolous lawsuits like this. Simply put, gun companies can’t be held liable for the criminal actions of their customers, no more than a cutlery company can be sued by the victims of knife attacks.
So it’s no surprise that their case was recently thrown out by the courts. But not only was it thrown out, the couple has been ordered to pay Lucky Gunner’s $200,000 legal fees.
Sadly for Phillips and her husband, by acting on the Brady Campaign’s advice to file suit against the store, they have seriously damaged their own finances. After they sold their home and belongings in Texas to attend Holmes’s trial in Colorado — and then to travel around the country in a camper to advocate more gun control — their frivolous lawsuit finished them off. In throwing out the case, the judge ordered the family to pay Lucky Gunner’s legal fees — which totaled more than $200,000. Harsh as it may sound, this was fair and correct decision considering the underlying facts and the lack of any substance in the case.
Of course, you can probably expect the Leftists to jump on this case, and whine about how a wildly successful company is bankrupting a poor couple who challenged them in court after losing their daughter. But it’s important to keep in mind that not only does Lucky Gunner have the right to that money, they would be stupid to let it go. If they absorbed those legal fees, what message would it send? That anyone anyone could sue them for any silly reason, and not suffer any financial consequences. They would be inviting pointless lawsuits from gun control activists who wish to hurt the company.
What should really be discussed, is why the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence advised this couple to attempt this costly lawsuit that had almost no chance of succeeding. And perhaps more importantly, why isn’t the Brady Campaign helping this couple with their legal fees?

Police Receive God’s Eye Technology, Google Earth With Real Time Tivo Capabilities
“A new surveillance system that collects and records information in real-time — and then lets trackers rewind, zoom in and follow certain targets — has hit the test market streets of Baltimore, Md., and Dayton, Ohio, and in at least one crime-fighting unit in California,” the Washington Times reported.
The surveillance software sounds a lot like Google earth with real time and TIVO like capabilities, able to search any individual’s location and associations throughout their day. A law enforcement officer could track your daily voyage from when you leave your home in the morning until you return in the evening.
The system will be able to track your daily trends, where you travel to, who you are with, when you visit and for how long. Any crimes you may commit throughout your day could be used against you.
You may feel like you don’t do anything wrong and have nothing to hide but a recent article by the Wall Street Journalpublished that the average American commits 3 felonies a day, and the odds are you don’t even know it!
According to the Center of Investigative Reporting (CIR), the software uses facial recognition allowing the system to identify individuals located in the systems database.
“The system was kind of kept confidential from everybody in the public,” L.A. County sheriff’s Sgt. Doug Iketani told CIR. “A lot of people do have a problem with the eye in the sky, the Big Brother, so in order to mitigate any of those kinds of complaints, we basically kept it pretty hush-hush.”

Researchers Trick Self-Driving Cars Into Ignoring Stop Signs
Experiments convince vehicles that stop signs are speed limit signs in 100% of test cases
Researchers have found a simple way to trick self-driving cars into misidentifying street signs, a vulnerability that could put drivers in harms way.
The group’s research paper, entitled Robust Physical-World Attacks on Machine Learning Models, outlines how simple alterations to both a “stop sign” and “right turn sign” can fool a vehicle’s onboard computer.
“We physically realized and evaluated two attacks, one that causes a Stop sign to be misclassified as a Speed Limit sign in 100% of the testing conditions, and one that causes a Right Turn sign to be misclassified as either a Stop or Added Lane sign in 100% of the testing conditions,” the paper says.

‘Resistance’ To California Republican: ‘May You Die in Pain’
Left-wing “resistance” activists flooded a town hall meeting Monday held by Rep. Doug LaMalfa (R-CA) in Chico, California, with one attendee taunting the congressman: “May you die in pain!”
According to the Los Angeles Times, that attendee was an “older man” upset by LaMalfa’s vote for the House’s version of legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare, the American Health Care Act. Others present were also opposed to repealing Obamacare.
The Times reports that most other comments and questions were “cordial,” though LaMalfa was often interrupted. It is not clear what proportion of people in attendance at the Chico Elks Lodge were actually from California’s 1st congressional district, which encompasses a large swath of the northeast part of the state, and which LaMalfa has represented since 2013, winning re-eleciton by wide margins.

The Hill Confirms Everything We’ve Been Saying About the Deep State Sabotaging Trump
One of the funniest things about the Beltway is that, when they talk amongst themselves, they often confirm everything people like us say about Washington and how it works. But they are so completely lacking in self-awareness that they don’t even realize that’s what they’re doing.
The Hill is one of the online publications most widely read by political types, and it’s considered a must-read inside the hallowed halls of power. These are the same halls of power, you’ll recall, where people scoff at the idea that there is a “deep state” working to undermine the Trump presidency. So imagine their surprise when The Hill, without really meaning to, confirmed over the weekend that everything we’ve been saying about the deep state is 100 percent true:\

This Mueller Thing Will End in Tears (For Liberals)
Obviously liberals think that with the Mueller investigation going for a grand jury they can do a repeat of the Watergate experience and drive from office another president they hate.
Maybe they are right. But I would argue that this use of government power to harass the opposition is injustice, pure and simple, and eventually the American people will experience it as such. That wouldn’t matter, except that that’s how you get to civil war.
I talked to my Pentagon contact last week and we agreed that we are in a cold civil war. But I feel that the left and the Deep State establishment just do not appreciate how dangerous things are.
I understand why. If you read the left, you will find that its priority was and is to pursue justice, by any means necessary. That is why Marx and Engels proposed revolution, because everybody knew that the bourgeoisie would never surrender its power to the rising working class. Force was the only option.
So today’s left teaches Good Little Boys and Good Little Girls in our schools and universities that the highest form of life is to be an activist, advocating and protesting for the marginalized and oppressed.
What these Good Little Boys and Good Little Girls do not understand — because, per Ben Rhodes, they know nothing — is that their left-wing activism is a rehearsal of civil war.

President Trump has responded to reports of North Korea’s nuclear threats, saying the regime “will be met with fire, fury and frankly power, the likes of which the world has never seen before.”

Why Does the Left Hate Us So Much?
In leftist societies, big government rapidly becomes the centerpiece of society. And that is one reason why so many of these big government systems are so godless, because government essentially takes the place of God over time.
Two diametrically opposed worldviews are clashing in our country right now, and eventually one of those worldviews will be vanquished by the other.
For those of us that still believe in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, the “progressives” of today are an existential threat. And online, a number of social media companies have been making a renewed effort to censor conservative voices in the aftermath of Donald Trump’s surprise election victory last November. They see how powerful the alternative media has become and they want to shut us up.
Unfortunately, I am seeing a lot of apathy among conservatives right now. They seem to think that the battle is over because we got Donald Trump into the White House. What they don’t understand is that the battle is just beginning. Brussels Police Open Fire at Car
Brussels police opened fire at a car Tuesday in the neighborhood of Molenbeek after the driver claimed he had explosives packed in the vehicle.
Police chased the suspect after he missed a red light in a German-registered vehicle. He was detained after police fired shots at the wheels of the car to stop his progress. A large area was sealed off as a bomb unit reportedly performed two controlled explosives after the man was arrested.
“When the police arrested him, he claimed to have explosives so not to take any risk, the army has been called in to check,” Ine van Wymersch, a spokeswoman for the Brussels prosecutor, told Reuters.
Police later said reported that no explosives were discovered in the vehicle. The suspect was identified as a an Rwandan citizen who police described as “confused.”
Molenbeek rose to fame in November 2015 after a group from the area killed 130 people in a series of attacks. Close associates of the group carried out coordinated suicide bombings against a subway station and an airport in Brussels four months later.

Swedish Minister Refuses to Strip Returning Islamic State Fighters of Swedish Citizenship
Interior Minister Morgan Johansson has ruled out the possibility of stripping Islamic State fighters of their Swedish citizenship, saying the government refuses to make anyone stateless.
Interior Minister Johansson made the comments after a statement in late July by the Chief of the Police in Greater Gothenburg Erik Nord who said the government should be able to strip Islamic State fighters of their Swedish citizenship.
“We can not make people stateless,” Johansson said, adding: “If you have become a citizen in Sweden, that is governed by the legislation we have,” Svenska Dagbladet reports.

Top British Universities ‘Discriminating’ Against UK Students for Big-Money Foreign Applicants
Some of the countries’ top higher learning institutions including Oxford and Cambridge, prefer to recruit foreign students with poorer qualifications to British ones, a Sunday Times study reports.
23 of the Sunday Times’s top 50 universities were found to have substantially cut British undergraduate numbers since 2008.
The number of British undergraduates across all universities has fallen since 2008, despite 17% more applications being made, while the numbers of non-EU students, who can pay up to four times more than British and EU ones, has risen by 39%.
The investigation revealed that thousands of overseas students are being granted ‘fast-track’ admissions to leading British universities without A-levels or equivalent qualifications from their own countries, only being required to complete short foundation courses lasting as little as six months.
The courses, which typically cost between £15,000 and £23,000, are offered by private companies that have struck partnership deals with dozens of universities and promise foreign students a ‘guaranteed’ university place upon completion.

UK: Manchester Airport Pipe Bomb Plot: Nadeem Muhammad Guilty
A man has been found guilty of trying to smuggle a pipe bomb on to a plane at Manchester Airport.
The “crude improvised explosive device” was found in Nadeem Muhammad’s luggage as he passed security on 30 January.
There have been calls for an inquiry after police initially failed to detect the device was “potentially viable” and he was allowed to board a plane.

UK: Norfolk Pensioner Stabbed to Death While Walking Dogs in Woodland Near Fiveways Junction
An 83-year-old man has died after being stabbed in the neck and head while out walking his two dogs in Norfolk.
A member of the public found the pensioner’s body in woodland near the Fiveways Junction, south of the village of East Harling, near Thetford, on Saturday and called police at 10.45am.
The man, who was married with children and lived in the East Harling area, died from multiple stab wounds, a post mortem concluded on Sunday.
Police have launched a murder investigation and say the “motive remains unclear”.
Norfolk’s County Police Commander Chief Superintendent Mike Fawcett sought to reassure residents, saying: “I fully understand that residents will be shocked and concerned that a murder with this level of brutality can happen to an elderly man going about his daily business in our county.”
He urged anyone who has noticed any unusual activity in the area recently to come forward.
Fawcett said: “Those who use the woodlands and footpath regularly, especially whose who were there between 9am and 11am on Saturday 5 August, are urged to contact us.”
Speaking to reporters, Fawcett added: “It is a murder by knife attack. It was a brutal knife attack. It is a quiet area, East Harling.”

Stones of Armenian Church Used in Mosque Construction
The stones of Varagavank Church in Van are being used in a mosque building.
“The church is being regularly destroyed to use its stones to build a mosque, houses in neighboring villages and other constructions. The temple is on the verge of destruction”, Ali Kalchek, the Head of the Van Monuments Protection Union, told the local mass media.
At the moment classes of the Koran for local children are conducted in the church.
The Armenian church of Varaganvank belongs to the 7-8th centuries. It was substantially damaged during the Armenian Genocide in 1915. The church was restored later thanks to the efforts of Turkish Armenians.

China’s First Home-Grown Aircraft Carrier May Deploy Ahead of Schedule
Chinese carrier will be propelled by eight steam turbines
Chinese military analysts say that advances and progress with the power generators for its Type 001A aircraft carrier place the massive ship ahead of schedule prior to its first deployment.
Type 001A could join the People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLA-N) by the end of 2018 or perhaps 2019, according to the South China Morning Post’s report on Monday. The Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies previously estimated the carrier wouldn’t join the rest of the navy until 2020.
Before the Type 001A joins the active duty fleet, “we also need to a do a variety of systematic tests [at sea], including matching tests of carrier-based aircraft, weapons systems, and others,” the Type 001A’s project manager told SCMP.
The carrier will rely primarily on steam generators to power ot over long distances. Construction on the carrier was finished in April, when it made its first launch into the open sea, and took just five years and three months to complete. Rebuilding the Soviet-made Liaoning (originally the Kuznetsov-class carrier Varyag), PLA-N’s only other carrier, is believed to have given the Chinese important lessons in building the massive ships, which are vital for long-range maritime expeditionary capabilities.

China Unveils New Weapons — From Stealth Fighters to ICBMs
As part of the People’s Liberation Army’s 90th anniversary celebration — it was founded on August 1, 1927 — President Xi Jinping (in military fatigues) hosted a giant parade at the Zhurihe Training Center.
Here, PLA’s most elite forces demonstrated how far China has come in modern warfare. CCTV broadcast the session, which means a domestic and global audience of millions saw the army’s showcase of tanks, stealth fighters, artillery, and ICBMs.
A group of ZTZ-99A heavy main battle tanks marched among the first parade units, followed by a variety of tracked ZDB-04A and wheeled ZBL-09 infantry fighting vehicles. The military procession then followed with PLZ-07 and heavy PLZ-04 self-propelled howitzers, PHL-03 heavy rocket launchers, and ZBD-003 airborne IFVs.
Tanks and Tanks Again — The ZTZ-99A is China’s heaviest and most armored tank, with a weight of 60-plus tons. In the background, you can see the transporter erector launcher (TEL) vehicles for the CJ-10 cruise missiles. — —Xinhua News Agency

Z-10 attack and Z-18 transport helicopters showed up, flying in formations shaped like “90,” as well as the Chinese characters for 8-1 (a reference to August 1), with the Z-18 transports landing to disgorge airmobile infantry.
The highlight was likely the public debut of not just one, but 16 DF-31AG intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs). The DF-31AG is an improvement over the 7,146-mile-range DF-31A ICBM. It carries a larger, reinforced missile canister likely carrying a more powerful missile with increased range or payload. The DF-31AG also uses an all-terrain 8X8 launch vehicle, enabling it to go off-road, which will make it much harder to find compared to its truck-launched predecessor.

North Korea Now Making Missile-Ready Nuclear Weapons, U.S. Analysts Say
North Korea has successfully produced a miniaturized nuclear warhead that can fit inside its missiles, crossing a key threshold on the path to becoming a full-fledged nuclear power, U.S. intelligence officials have concluded in a confidential assessment.
The new analysis completed last month by the Defense Intelligence Agency comes on the heels of another intelligence assessment that sharply raises the official estimate for the total number of bombs in the communist country’s atomic arsenal. The U.S. calculated last month that up to 60 nuclear weapons are now controlled by North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Some independent experts believe the number of bombs is much smaller.
The findings are likely to deepen concerns about an evolving North Korean military threat that appears to be advancing far more rapidly than many experts had predicted. U.S. officials last month concluded that Pyongyang is also outpacing expectations in its effort to build an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of striking cities on the American mainland.

850,000 Muslim Migrants in Turkey Already on the EU Dole
A European Union official says more than 850,000 people are now benefiting from a EU-funded project that provides cash assistance to the most vulnerable refugee families in Turkey.
The program, billed as the EU’s largest humanitarian program, provides debit cards to the most disadvantaged families allowing them to buy food and meet other needs.
It was launched last year following an agreement in which the EU pledged 3 billion euros to help Syrian migrants in Turkey in return for Turkish assistance in curbing illegal migration to Europe.
Jane Lewis, head of the EU humanitarian aid office in Turkey, said Friday that the program aims to assist 1.3 million refugees by the end of the year.

Calais: Migrants Have Already Made 17,000 Attempts on Britain’s Borders in 2017
Illegal migrants in and around Calais, France, have made at least 17,000 attempts to board lorries or trains or breach the Channel Tunnel in 2017, according to French statistics.

The migrant rescue NGO vessel “Golfo Azzurro” has been refused access to Italian ports on the island of Lampedusa, with some blaming “right-wing hackers” for ship confiscations and NGO members being investigated for people smuggling.

Lorry Drivers Demand Military Deploy to Calais After Deadly Migrant Attacks
Representatives of British lorry drivers have called for the army to be sent to Calais to protect vehicles if attacks and attempted hijackings by migrants do not subside.

People Smugglers Double Price of Sea Journeys Into Spanish Territory
People smugglers have reacted to increased demand for their services by doubling their fees for migrants hoping to enter Spain illegally via the maritime route from North Africa.
According to a document from the European Union border agency Frontex, criminal organizations have raised prices from an average €500 in 2016 to double that figure this year. Almost 7,500 migrants arrived in Spain using the maritime route in the first six months of this year against 3,600 for the same period in 2016, figures from Spain’s Interior Ministry show.
In June alone, 2,200 undocumented migrants tried to cross the Strait of Gibraltar to enter Spain and people smugglers now hope to make the most of this increased demand, according to the Frontex document.

Red Cross Says 186 Migrants Storm Spanish Border Post
The Spanish Red Cross says it has tended to 186 migrants who stormed a pedestrian border post to enter Spain’s North African enclave of Ceuta from Morocco.
Attempts to cross by force at pedestrian border posts are unusual as they are normally heavily policed. The thousands of sub-Saharan African migrants living illegally in Morocco normally try to scale the border fences surrounding Ceuta and Melilla, Spain’s other North African enclave, in their bid to enter Europe.
Ceuta’s Red Cross tweeted that four migrants were taken to a city hospital for injuries after the crossing early Monday.

Soros-Funded Tunisian NGO Commands Fishermen to Block ‘Defend Europe’ Ship From Port
Several fishermen in the Tunisian port city of Zarzis have blocked the Defend Europe vessel, the “C-Star”, from refuelling, claiming that the ship and its mission to watch over migrant rescue NGOs is “racist”.
The fishermen, who belong to the Tunisian Association of Fishermen, blocked the Defend Europe vessel from approaching the port on Sunday. Head of the Association of Fishermen Chamseddine Bourassine said: “It is the least we can do given what is happening out in the Mediterranean,” whilst a port official said: “Us let in racists here? Never,” L’Express reports.
The call to block the ship from using a Tunisian port came on Friday from the Tunisian Forum for Economic and Social Rights (FTDES), a left-wing NGO which put out a press release claiming the Defend Europe mission was “racist”.

Charlie Gard and the Legalization of Infant Euthanasia
Those who held power over Charlie decided that his life was not worth living. They reached this judgment on the basis of his expected mental disability. They denied him treatment, and ordered his ventilator removed, not because of the burden of the treatment, but because of the burden of his life. In a cruel act proposed by doctors, approved by courts, cheered by the press, and blessed by certain high clerics, Charlie Gard was euthanized. It was euthanasia by omission, but it was euthanasia all the same.
This fact was not lost on Julian Savulescu, the Oxford ethicist and student of Peter Singer, who asked: If Charlie’s life is not worth living, why shouldn’t we directly kill him? The answer is uncomfortable for those who supported the UK decision. There is no moral difference between aiming at the deaths of infants like Charlie by omission and aiming at their deaths by direct action. No logical barrier prevents those who supported the UK’s decision from endorsing outright infanticide. This is precisely what many supporters of the direct killing of infants argued in an “infanticide symposium” published by the Journal of Medical Ethics in 2013. How we come to view Charlie Gard’s case has direct import for how we will view the direct killing of infants, an ancient and barbaric practice that has been reintroduced in the Netherlands in deceptively civilized guise as the “Groningen protocol.” This protocol allows the killing of infants of less than one year of age; the victims are very often disabled.

For days now you’ve seen media headlines about the “anti-diversity manifesto” that some anonymous Google employee wrote. That’s not actually what it was.
Now I’m well known for criticizing the use of anonymous sources by the news media, and because this guy has chosen to remain anonymous we can only ascribe so much authority to what he says. Then again, it wasn’t his idea for his memo to spread like wildfire over the Internet, and to be used as evidence of latent sexism, racism or whatever else.
It’s actually a very thoughtful piece of work in that it challenges the premises Google embraces about why women and other minorities are underrepresented in certain job categories. Google simply assumes the reason is discrImination, and that the answer is “diversity,” whatever that means. End of discussion. The writer makes a pretty convincing case that there could be a whole host of other reasons for the numerical disparity, and suggests that if Google’s interest is in solving the problem rather than engaging in moral grandstanding, it could seriously consider the role some of these other factors might play.

That quote is simply astonishing. Put more simply, you’re free to express your opinion without fear, as long as it agrees with our opinion.
The Internet is overrun with reports that this guy claimed women are biologically incapable of coding, along with other such claims that would be absurd on their face if he had actually made them. But he didn’t. You can read the whole thing here. What he did was point to both biological and cultral differences that might explain why women would be less inclined to pursue certain kinds of work, and why they might find such work less interesting than other kinds given the opportunity to try them.
I don’t agree with everything he asserted, but his arguments are worth taking seriously. He also makes a very strong case that Google’s monolithically left-wing culture makes conservatives feel marginalized and sends a message that their opinions are unwelcome. If you need any further evidence that this statement is true, all you have to do is look at the way Google reacted to this guy’s memo.

Google Fires Employee Behind Anti-Diversity Memo
Internet giant Google has fired the male engineer at the center of an uproar in Silicon Valley over the past week after he authored an internal memo asserting there are biological causes behind gender inequality in the tech industry.
James Damore, the engineer who wrote the memo, confirmed his dismissal, saying in an email to Reuters on Monday that he had been fired for “perpetuating gender stereotypes”.
Damore said he was exploring all possible legal remedies, and that before being fired, he had submitted a charge to the U.S. National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) accusing Google upper management of trying to shame him into silence.

I don’t blame University of Georgia Richard Watson for letting “stressed” students pick their grades. That’s what everybody else is doing, Harvard, MIT, and down. I am in limbo at University of Central Florida just because one student complained, and for no other reason. All university professors in USA live in a state of terror for their lives. Especially there happens sometimes a popular student who for a whim hates the professor. Then he organizes mass complaints, and ruins the professor forever. This is the same in “social” sciences and in actual sciences.
Marxists started taking over the Ivy League back in the 1930’s. Their graduates have been steadily fed into other systems since then, carrying the leftist poison with them into the classroom. University professors could unite to protest this but too many university professors are Marxist. Why would they object?
They are not all Marxists. In natural sciences, engineering and so on, nearly none are Marxists. That said, there are too many easy ways to ruin a professor. For one, cut him all governmental funding, and he is finished with the scientific part of his career. He’s still left with teaching alone. That might be beneath his ambitions, but that’s not the point. Even in teaching they can kick you out with a whim. It’s so.

With Netanyahu under attack, any connections to this attack (similar to methodical attacks on the Trump Administration) and Gerge Soros must be explored. He seems to have infiltrated half the free governments in the West and is after all of them.
Trump may be playing a little game with McMaster. Trump’s recent public endorsement of his NSC pick, McMaster, an endorsement that flies in the face of what is now openly known of McMaster’s connections to Soros and the Deep State, may well be a work in progress to not only expose McMaster’s links, but through him, also McCain’s links to Soros, and all the others in Congress who have been opposing Trump’s every move and who became beholden to the Soros agenda some time ago.

If you have individual or sections of soldiers taking matters into their own hands and committing acts of provoked or ‘itchy trigger finger’ violence, then you will soon have no rule of law and anarchy on the streets.
Individual soldiers are not permitted discretion, but are generally highly trained to follow orders so that they do not take matters into their own hands.
From my own experience, I have no doubt that the unarmed provocatuers on the streets today would soon be the same armed provocatuers on the streets tomorrow.

Nemesis, that is true. We are awake but we are in the minority. And yes, I agree they do come to dominate — it is a tenet of their religion — they are supposed to convert the entire world to Muslim (I have read this more than once).
But given the facts, what can we do? Realistically do, to take our country back? I think we have to shut the doors and stop taking in muslims who do not share our values. Most of them do not share our values. We are a basically Christian or non-denominal (sp) country and it has worked well for hundreds of years.
But this is an invasion, just as it is in Europe and England. The only countries I know of are Hungary and Poland who refuse to accept them and they are castigated for it, yet I think they are protecting their countries by doing so. France is a mess and England is not far behind. I do wonder what their leaders are thinking or do they not care? Apres mois, le deluge? Maybe that is it.
Let them go back to muslim-land where they will feel more comfortable. As far as I can see, they do not assimilate into western culture very well. We have a bunch of them in western Kansas (I live here but in the eastern part) and they certainly haven’t done the natives any favors. Most of them are on welfare. Which is point one why they should not be here. Point two is most of them are either illiterate or have no marketable skills so they will continue to sit on welfare. And sometimes cause havoc.
Cleaning up the welfare system is one step that could be taken within the current system to begin getting a handle on the invasion.
Removing handouts would surely reduce the flow of invaders, as well as cutting breeding rates by current colonists.
Maria_dee, I believe you have the best leader in the White House at this time. But what has taken over a century to undermine our entire Western cultural systems cannot be immediately corrected.
Taking into account that it has taken a over a century to lull us all into a more pliable state, how does one put a time limit to the remedy?
The short answer is that we can’t because there are so many unknown factors still working the Globalist system, and even though Trump’s election and Putin’s rejection of a New World Order has slowed the Globalist agenda, there are just too many powerful figures within many old establishments of that agenda who have much to lose if they allow people like Trump and Putin to reject their goal and recover what the Globalists have taken from us.
And these establishments believe their goal is losing ground then they are quite prepared to wait out if necessary a more suitable time in which to continue their plan, whereas we have to be constantly on guard against it.
Suitable communication media is our friend in this battle and Trump has realized this simple tool for what it can achieve with the wider population, and so, is utilizing it.
Those who are pushing for Trump’s removal are the now desperate individuals who fell for the Globalist plan, and it will be those who will be indicted for their criminal actions at some point in time, if Trump is not countered.
And there are many of them in that swamp!
We need time to get our houses in order again, and there is no guarantee that blood will not be shed in that endeavour, but we also need to be fully alert as to what is disinformation and propaganda and who the traitors are and where they are ensconced.
Like any war, and we are in a war for our very souls, there is no guaranteed outcome, and we only have our perseverance and tenacity in not becoming victim to what is planned for us all.
