Asylum seeker tried to set fire to his asylum home
A 20-year-old man in Kramfors has been arrested on suspicion of arson after he set fire to an asylum residence, writes Allehanda. The man himself was supposedly living at the home.
It was at 1pm on Thursday that a fire started indoors at an asylum residence in the municipality of Kramsfors.
The fire was able to be put out and later a 20-year-old man was arrested suspected of setting the fire at the home.
“A man has been arrested on suspicion of starting a fire at a housing accommodation by initially setting fire to a curtain,” said prosecutor Jens Göransson to Allehanda.
According to SVT News Västerbotten, the man himself was living at the asylum home, and afterwards was arrested for probable cause, suspected of arson. The fire was dangerous.
The police conducted several interrogations of the man, and on Friday a detention hearing was held at Ångermanlands District Court.
The 20-year-old reportedly acknowledged that he set fire to the asylum home, but does not consider that it should be classified as arson.
No one was injured in the fire.
The suspect is now in custody.
This is one of the many cases in Sweden where asylum seekers themselves set fire to their asylum residences.
The shame of it is that it took a culture enricher to do what should be every Swedish patriot’s duty (are there even Swedish patriots) to do.
At least it was torched regardless of who torched it.
