Speaking to supporters at a rally in Pennsylvania, President Donald Trump said the news media are doing a terrible job and deserve a failing grade. Mr. Trump said the media’s priorities were not the same as those of the American people.

Canada: Liberals Hiding Their Deficit
If you believe Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne’s claim that through her sound fiscal management she has balanced the province’s books and can now spend more on public services, I have a bridge in Brooklyn I’d like to sell you.
Progressive Conservative leader Patrick Brown rightly called Wynne’s budget a “Hail Mary pass” Thursday, cooked up by a Liberal government desperately trying to clean up the financial mess it’s made of the province’s books for the past 14 years, in time for next year’s election.
Brown said despite Wynne’s claim of a balanced budget — the first since 2008 — – the Liberals are actually hiding a $5 billion operating deficit…
Since the Liberals came to power in 2003, when the provincial debt was $138.8 billion, they have added a staggering $173.1 billion in debt, a 125% increase in 14 years, far outstripping inflation and population growth.

France’s GDP Growth Slows Ahead of Election
PARIS — French economic growth slowed at the start of the year as mild weather decreased demand for heating and exports dropped.
French gross domestic product expanded 0.3% quarter-on-quarter in the three months through March after growing 0.5% at the end of 2016, statistics agency Insee said. Economists polled by The Wall Street Journal had forecast a 0.4% increase.

Panic Bank Run Leaves Canada’s Largest Alternative Mortgage Lender on Edge of Collapse
After two years of recurring warnings (both on this website and elsewhere) that Canada’s largest alternative (i.e., non-bank) mortgage lender is fundamentally insolvent, kept alive only courtesy of the Canadian housing bubble which until last week had managed to lift all boats, Home Capital Group suffered a spectacular spectacular implosion last week when its stock price crashed by the most on record after HCG revealed that it had taken out an emergency $2 billion line of credit from an unnamed counterparty with an effective rate as high as 22.5%, indicative of a business model on the verge of collapse .

A Tax Expert’s Take on Trump’s Proposal: ‘A Truly Great Tax Plan’
I am a 64 year-old CPA who has been doing taxes for approximately 40 years. President Trump’ s tax plan is the most intelligent tax policy I have seen since Reagan’ s.
It certainly appears that Trump has more common sense and intelligence on taxes and the economy than many of those advising him, the career politicians from both parties, the bureaucrats, the media and most economists. I am a 64 year old CPA who has been doing taxes for approximately 40 years. This is the most intelligent tax policy I have seen since Ronald Reagan’s and my initial thoughts make me believe that it is better than Reagan’s. It is a simple and logical plan that would give everyone the incentive to earn more instead of spending so much time and money trying to beat the tax man. I believe the impetus it would give to economic growth is immeasurable.
The summary of what I have seen on President Trump’s tax plan looks like it would greatly help almost everyone and especially the overall economy. If the U.S makes the corporate tax rates more competitive, businesses in the U.S would have a great incentive to keep businesses here and/or to move business back from overseas. Foreign businesses would also have a greater incentive to move and build businesses here which is, after all, the biggest economy in the world. Regulatory relief also helps a lot. The lower the regulatory burden, the greater the likelihood that businesses will thrive and keep their prices competitive. If you lower the tax rate, get rid of a lot of the special interest deductions along with reducing regulations, businesses and individuals will become more productive, boosting the economy.
If you get rid of the alternative minimum tax (AMT), the estate tax, and many tax deductions and tax breaks, you take away the incentive to shelter income. The number of potential audits is greatly reduced, minimizing the cost of IRS. People and businesses would structure their personal lives and businesses without much regard for taxes which would make everything run more efficiently and effectively.
Democrats are already saying they are against Trump’s proposed tax policy changes. What a surprise.
Democrats seem to believe the money is all theirs. They decry any cut in taxes as if it was the government’s money in the first place. They call tax cuts a cost to the government. In contrast, when government entities increase taxes and fees, the media and Democrats talk about the additional revenue to the government, not the cost to individuals and businesses to pay the tax.

Al Gore and “Climate” Warriors Demand $15 Trillion to Save Earth
Former Vice President and self-styled inventor of the Internet Al Gore, infamous primarily for his many debunked prophecies about global-warming doom, is demanding that humanity fork over another $15 trillion to supposedly save the planet from alleged man-made “climate change.” In a report produced by his new group of crony capitalists and tax-funded climate alarmists, dubbed the “Energy Transitions Commission” (ETC), Gore and his allies demand as much as $600 billion annually for decades to help meet the goals laid out in the collapsing United Nations pseudo-treaty on climate known as the Paris Agreement. Critics, though, ridiculed Gore and his cronies, suggesting this was merely their latest scam to fleece taxpayers around the globe.

America or Globalism? You Can’t Have Both
I have been traveling for the last week. Where ever I go, the message from the people is the same. POTUS is doing a great job but he is working with one hand tied behind his back. Why is Congress hindering, not helping?
Party lines do not matter any more. America now has Globalists in both parties making our fight today not Republicans vs Democrat, but Americans vs. Globalists. Who are these Globalists and what do they want? Think of a pyramid. Block off the top inch. That is about 1000 people who run both the Democratic and Republican party AKA Globalist aka Elite aka Moderates. The ideology of these Globalists is rooted in Communism. Globalists are communists. Communism is anti-American. Why is no one reporting this? Americans have learned in school through diversity training to be silent. Americans are told; if you speak out, you will be labeled a racist. End of conversation.
Why kids? How does that work? Recently we discovered that Obama gave taxpayer dollars to Soros’ Open Society. Open Society used the money to influence the election in Macedonia by giving out Sol Alinski’s, “Rules for Radicals” to students before having them riot. Kids without purpose are followers. Americans are silent.
Does that sound familiar? What was POTUS Trump accused of? Notice how Globalists accuse their opposition for things they have done… By starting to train the young, and using WorldWide Common Core (a UNESCO and GATES partnership agreement signed in 1994) Globalists can use the same programming for kids throughout the world. Focusing on the training with techniques created by Bell, Skinner, Pavlov, like Mastery Learning aka Outcome Based Education assures Globalists the proper response when key trigger words are used. The student is trained in a way that the outcome of their actions is now predictable. Once that happens students lose their ability to choose and can easily be controlled (manipulated) by their choices. Their choices are now controlled by the group. Any deviation from the group is racist. Today the youth of the world can be called upon to riot for any reason in any city. And Americans are silent.

Delingpole: The People’s Climate March — Aka Watermelons’ War on Capitalism — in Pictures
[…] Even if you didn’t know this, the clues are in the signs, spotted by Collegians For A Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT) — an organization which tries to bring rationalism, facts and sanity to the climate debate — and Steve Milloy.
Yes. Administration Change. That will totally stop non-existent global warming from happening.
See also: Tooth Fairy; Santa Claus; yes, of course, I’ll still love you in the morning…
Communism. Yup: just what the world needs to sort out its environmental problems. That’s why Beijing is so famously unpolluted; why there are so many fish in the Aral Sea; why Chernobyl is today such a thriving nature reserve…
And this has to do with global warming what, exactly?
Aka Watermelons — green on the outside, red on the inside.
Aw! How sweet! They want to behead the President. Aren’t environmentalists just the cutest, most sensitive and CARING people?
Meanwhile in Vienna, they’re not even pretending it’s about anything other than Marxism.
How is this even possible? Do these Greenies really know as little about science as I fear?

How Conservative States Should Handle Academia
How ought Republican state governments backed by strong conservative state voter pluralities to act? Hold state legislative committee hearings and similar investigative tools to determine the composition of the faculty in state universities both in that state and nationally. Explore examples of persecution of conservative students, student groups, and faculty in the state and nationally.
If half the states of the nation reported finding persistent intolerance toward conservatives and their ideals and presented some dramatic examples, that would put the left on the defensive. State governments could then create specific seats in state universities intended to balance — or try to balance — the grotesque imbalance in the state and nationally.

May Day is a March for Communism
If you are marching on this May Day, you do not really know your history, you are asking for totalitarian communism, not for freedom.
The first day of May is the International Worker’s Day, May Day, or Labor Day, a day promoted by socialists, communists, anarchists, and the labor movement. Even though it is presented on quick search on the web as “an ancient European spring festival,” the date was chosen by the Second International, an organization founded by socialist and communist parties to celebrate the Haymarket event which occurred in Chicago on May 4, 1886, when marchers threw a bomb at police and policemen responded by shooting into the crowd, killing four people.
In 1904 the International Socialist Conference in Amsterdam, the sixth conference of the Second International, “called on all Social Democratic Party organizations and trade unions of all countries to demonstrate energetically on the First of May for the legal establishment of the 8-hour work day, for the class demands of the proletariat, and for universal peace.”
Around the world, May Day is an opportunity for various socialist, communist, and anarchist groups to demonstrate against their governments.

On Eve of Annual Media Dinner, Poll Finds Americans Trust Trump More Than Media
Only a day before journalists are set to meet at their annual self-congratulatory dinner, a new poll finds that their intended customers, the American people, don’t trust them. Indeed, the poll finds Americans trust the Trump White House to tell the truth more than they do the media.
The poll taken of 2,006 adults between April 23 and 26 is certainly bad news for the political media as 37 percent of respondents said they trust the Trump White House, while only 29 percent said they trust the media.
Worse for the media, the day before their April 29 dinner, the poll found that 51 percent of respondents said the national political media “is out of touch with everyday Americans,” while only 28 percent said the media “understand the issues every day Americans are facing.”

Pat Caddell Grades First 100 Days: Donald Trump C+, Dems F, Republicans F-
Longtime Democrat pollster and analyst Pat Caddell talked with Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Friday about his thoughts and observations on President Donald’s Trump’s first 100 days in office, as well as the recent performance of both major parties.
Asked what kind of a “letter grade” he would give Trump for his first 100 days, Caddell said, “I would give him a C+, which is not great, but that’s okay because I give the Democrats and Republicans Fs and F-s. And I give the press, as you might have guessed, a letter that doesn’t exist.”

Paul Craig Roberts Warns “Trump Now a Captive of the Deep State”
Can the world survive the evil that is concentrated in Washington?
When Obama inherited the Deep State’s agenda from George W. Bush, he set up Syria’s Assad for regime change by repeating for many months that if Assad used chemical weapons in the “civil war” that Washington had sent ISIS to conduct, Assad would have crossed the “Red Line” that Obama had drawn and would, as the consequence, face an invasion by the US military, just as Iraq had been invaded based on Washington’s lie about “weapons of mass destruction.”
Having burnt this idea into the feeble minds of the Western populations, Obama then arranged for a chemical weapon to be exploded in Syria and blamed it on Assad. Thus, the Red Line had been crossed, the insouciant West was told, and America would now invade.
The UK prime minister, the usual piece of Washington-owned garbage, rushed to the support of the American invasion, promising British support. But the British Parliament voted NO. The MPs said that the UK was not going to support another American war crime justified by obvious lies. Only in Britain does democracy still have any teeth, as we saw a second time with the Brexit vote. All the rest of the West lives in vassalage and slavery.
The Russian government also took a firm stand, admitting that Russia stupidly trusted America in Libya, but no more. We, said the Russians, will ourselves remove any and all chemical weapons from Syria and turn them over to Western “civilization” to be destroyed, which the Russians did.
What did Western “civilization” do with the weapons? They gave some of them to ISIS. This gave Washington a second chance to accuse Assad of using chemical weapons “against his own people.”

President Trump’s Executive Order on Promoting Agriculture and Rural Property in America
President Trump’s Executive Order on Promoting Agriculture and Rural Prosperity in America, which was signed on April 25, 2017, is significant in many ways, not the least of which is the Revocation of Executive Order 13575 of June 9, 2011, issued by President Obama, the Establishment of the White House Rural Council.
I wrote about the June 9, 2011 13575 order as soon as it was released and I have included it in my best-seller book, “U.N. Agenda 21: Environmental Piracy.” (pp. 88-91) This executive order established unchecked federal control over rural America in education, food supply, land use, water use, recreation, property rights, energy, and the lives of sixteen percent of the U.S. population. The executive order carefully chose the rural population because “they supply our food, fiber, and energy, safeguard our natural resources, and are essential in the development of science and innovation.” To sum it up, he who controls the food, land, and water controls everything else.
The executive order of 2011 was promoted, “To enhance the Federal Government’s efforts to address the needs of rural America, this order establishes a council to better coordinate Federal programs and maximize the impact of Federal investment to promote economic prosperity and quality of life in our rural communities.” On the face of it, it sounds benign enough; except that it discusses sustainable rural development; the new bureaucracy to oversee it came from and was called the White House Rural Council. Sustainable Development is the lynchpin of U.N. Agenda 21 now morphed into U.N.’s Agenda 2030, U.N.’s blue print for global governance and control of human activity and private property.
President Trump revoked President Obama’s Executive Order 13575 and replaced it with “Promoting Agriculture and Rural Prosperity in America.” His EO establishes the Interagency Task Force on Agriculture and Rural Prosperity, with administrative support and funding from the Department of Agriculture, within the boundaries of law and “within existing appropriations.” The Secretary of Agriculture will be the Chair of the Task Force composed of 21 secretaries, assistants, directors, and heads of executive departments within the federal government.
The Task Force “shall identify legislative, regulatory, and policy changes to promote in rural America agriculture, economic development, job growth, infrastructure improvements, technological improvements, energy security, and quality of life such as:

What Does He Know That Most Americans Don’t Know?
In the recent story over at Newsmax they report that according to the head of the Department of Homeland Security General John Kelly, the FBI is investigating claims of radical Islamic terrorism spread across all 50 US states. According to a story published the same day over at the Washington Free Beacon, “terrorists inside of America are plotting attacks each and every day” with further warnings that the threat of terrorism in America has hit an all-time high.
Just days ago, General Kelly also spoke out on homegrown terror, claiming the most common threat now facing the US is something that “he doesn’t know how to stop”. Claiming the DHS is ‘completely blind’ to what terrorists here are capable of doing, his remarks surely didn’t inspire confidence in the DHS being able to protect America and proved once more, when it comes to ‘protection’, Americans are best served by taking that upon themselves.
While giving a speech at George Washington University, Kelly also stated:…

The Real Barack Obama is Finally Exposed to Everyone
I’ve been surprised by the number of people who lived in total denial about who Barack Obama actually was throughout his entire administration, suddenly pointing out the ethical and demoralizing implications of his recent decision to accept $400,000 for a speech to Wall Street firm Cantor Fitzgerald…
So why am I writing about Barack Obama? He’s no longer President, and we once again face many of the exact same issues under President Trump. I’m addressing it because I think the fact so many people are finally having this conversation is a very good thing. We can’t have an honest dialogue about such an existential issue without admitting to ourselves the sad truth about who Barack Obama is.
While I certainly understand it would’ve been far more beneficial had many of these people faced reality years ago, we don’t get to decide when people come around to admitting to themselves the truth about a person they worshipped (as my screaming into the wilderness for eight years can attest).
Denial is an extremely powerful thing, and tens of millions of Democrats were completely bamboozled by Obama due to their personal obsession with the man. This is precisely why cult of personality worship is so dangerous and counterproductive when it comes to politics. We need to grow up as a culture and start supporting policies over people, logic over emotion. If you become attached to a politician or a political party like a sports team, that individual or institution can very easily manipulate and betray you. We see this over and over again, and until we move to a higher level of understanding about the world around us, we will continue to be victimized by disingenuous, opportunistic shysters.
Today’s post will highlight two excellent exposes of the real Barack Obama by two individuals who were not fooled by Obama’s soaring rhetoric and false promises, Matt Stoller and Jimmy Dore.
Let’s start with excerpts from Matt’s recent Medium piece, Obama the Hamiltonian:…

The Spreading Tentacles of Censorship
The list of those who are “disinvited” to forums where free speech should exist keeps getting longer. In some ways, it is a badge of honor to be included in that list; in other aspects, of course, it is the abject failure to respect the right to hold an opinion. Ultimately, it is “campus fascism” on the rise.
Phyllis Chesler is the latest victim after having been “disinvited by the King Fahd Center for Middle East Studies at the University of Arkansas Law School.” In her article titled “Being a Zionist is even worse than being an Islamophobe,” she describes being censored by a state university. She was part of a conference on a subject on which she is an expert, having studied the topic of honor killings for many years and she has a track record as an academic, an author, a human rights activist and women’s rights leader. But none of this mattered since, as so many are learning, “objectivity, true facts, clear reasoning, genuine intellectual diversity and the capacity for self-criticism” are now verboten — gone from centers of academic learning.
Instead they are replaced with vulgarity, incivility, obtuse thinking, censorship, and outright violence.

Three New Liberal Tactics Designed to Stop You From Hearing Conservative Arguments
We are all too familiar with the liberals’ S.I.N. tactics (shift the subject, ignore the facts, and name-call) to deny people the opportunity to hear an opposing point of view. They have now increased the frequency of three other blatant tactics to prevent people from hearing conservative truths.
“Shout them down!”
“Shut them down!”
“Lie!”
Liberals don’t want you to hear opposing views. They only want you to hear theirs
“Shout them down” starts with interrupting a conservative when he or she is trying to respond to a question with a logical response. This is to deny the listener the opportunity to hear an uninterrupted response, because the listener might agree with it. So talking over a conservative creates a distraction, and sometimes the conservative responder has to push back and maybe lose their train of thought.
I have experienced this many, many times! So much so that I will no longer do this kind of interview. They are stressful and disruptive, and the listener usually does not gain much from the exchange, and I leave feeling as if I was robbed of the opportunity to make my points, and wasted my time.

Trump Ridicules Media at Pennsylvania Rally: ‘They Deserve a Big, Fat Failing Grade’
“So, here’s the story. If the media’s job is to be honest and tell the truth, then I think we would all agree the media deserves a very, very big fat failing grade,” Trump thundered.
The president then noted that his first 100 days have been quite successful, but he finished his remarks on the media reminding the crowd that the media’s agenda is not the same as that of the people of the United States.
“The Washington media is part of the problem,” Trump told the crowd as he warmed up to speak on his successes in his first 100 days. “Their priorities are not my priorities, and they’re not your priorities, believe me. Their agenda is not your agenda, and I’ll be making a big decision on the Paris accord over the next two weeks.”
The mood of the crowd was ebullient, and Trump was interrupted repeatedly with chants of USA, USA. His remarks skewering the media were also very well received.

UC Berkeley and the Communist Plot to Kill Free Speech
Among colleges and universities, the University of California, Berkeley has — since the 1960s — held the title as the most radically liberal. Hailed by leftists as “the birthplace of Free Speech,” the university and the town from which it draws its name have long been a seedbed of communist ideology. With that communist ideology having now come of age, Berkeley is becoming the deathbed of Free Speech.

Heritage Minister Calls for Overhaul of News Business
OTTAWA—Heritage Minister Mélanie Joly called for a “true redefinition” of the Canadian media industry Friday, as the Liberal government continues to study ways to support the beleaguered news business in the digital age.
A range of options remains on the table, from tax changes to the creation of a fund for media projects, but Joly said it’s too early to say what Ottawa will do to help Canadian news outlets, which have seen huge drops in profits and also job cuts in recent years.
She said that government action must include players in the media industry as well as corporate titans such as Google and Facebook, which gobble up huge portions of digital ad spending, according to a prominent report published in January on the withering media sector.

A Month of Islam and Multiculturalism in Germany: March 2017
[…] March 3. An 18-year-old asylum seeker from Somalia was charged with murdering an 87-year-old woman at a retirement home in Neuenhaus. Police said the accused entered the facility through an unlocked back door with the aim of having sexual intercourse with elderly residents. He sexually assaulted a 59-year-old paralytic, entered an adjacent room and sexually assaulted an 87-year-old man. He then beat the man’s wife, who was sleeping in the same room. The woman died from her injuries. The accused is being housed in a psychiatric hospital.
March 4. Spiegel Online reported that more than 900 people, including many women, have left Germany to join the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. Roughly one-third have returned to Germany, while another 145 are believed to have been killed in battle. A state prosecutor warned that the returnees are especially dangerous: “They often have had extreme experiences of violence, are strongly radicalized and have few prospects in Germany.”

Children Must be Taught About Islam, Insists Church of England
Said standardized religious education lessons should be introduced to the curriculum
Parents who have concerns about their children being taught about Islam should be banned from pulling them out of religious education (RE) lessons, according to the Church of England.
Senior Church of England official Derek Holloway said withdrawing children from RE lessons could leave them without the skills required to live in a diverse society and “live well together as adults.”
He also cautioned against “fundamentalist” groups using human rights legislation to keep children from learning about different world views.
“Sadly and dangerously, the right of withdrawal from RE is now being exploited by a range of ‘interest groups’ often using a dubious interpretation of human rights legislation,” Holloway wrote in a post on the CoE’s Facebook page.
Parents are currently entitled to withdraw their children from RE class without having to provide a reason, although Holloway said this right should be repealed as it leaves a gap in pupils’ education.

Le Pen Enters Second Round Firing on All Cylinders While Macron Sputters
Latest polling shows nationalist surging, globalist slipping
The final round of the French presidential election is well underway, and nationalist-populist heroine, Marine Le Pen, is gaining ground while establishment globalist Emmanuel Macron has suffered a slew of PR errors that aren’t playing well with French voters, polling suggests.
A new opinion poll reflects that half of respondents feel Le Pen is off to a good start in this two week blitz leading up to the May 7 final vote, but only 43% feel the same for the favored candidate, Macron.
“According to the Elabe Institute for BFMTV opinion poll, which was released on Thursday morning, more respondents said that Marine Le Pen had a good start to the second round (50%), than for Emmanuel Macron (43%),” reports French outlet BFMTV…
Macron, a former Rothschild banker who has never held elected office, was thoroughly upstaged on Wednesday during a visit to his hometown of Amiens, where he was booed and jeered by striking employees at a Whirlpool factory, after they had enthusiastically greeted Le Pen just shortly before.

Rothschild Bank Now Under Criminal Investigation After Baron David De Rothschild Indictment
Last year, Baron David de Rothschild was indicted by the French government after he was accused of fraud in a scheme that allegedly embezzled large sums of money from British pensioners.
It has taken many years to bring this case against Rothschild and his company the Rothschild Financial Services Group, which trapped hundreds of pensioners in a bogus loan scheme between the years of 2005 and 2008.
One by one the pensioners lost their money and pressed charges against the notorious banker, beginning a case that would take many years to get even an indictment.
In June, Paris-based liaison judge Javier Gómez Bermudez ruled that Rothschild must face a trial for his crimes, and ordered local police to seek him out in his various mansions that are spread throughout the country.

Coup in Macedonia — Soros Appointees Beaten in Parliament
Supporters of the movement “For The Common Macedonia” stormed the Macedonian parliament and attacked the deputies of the parliamentary majority, following a vote for a new speaker. In addition, journalists were detained in the press center of the Parliament.
Demonstrators forced their way into the building after the Social Democrats and the parties representing ethnic Albanians elected a parliament speaker in a vote that Gruevski’s party didn’t recognize, MIA said.
As Bloomberg reports, the former Yugoslav state of 2 million people has struggled to find a way out of political deadlock after former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski failed to form a coalition government following an inconclusive snap vote five months ago. Gruevski’s ally, President Gjorge Ivanov, has refused to give a mandate to the opposition Social Democrats, which say they can form a majority-backed government with parties representing ethnic Albanians.
Today’s action was condemned by European Union Commissioner Johannes Hahn, who said “violence has no place in parliament,” according to his post on Twitter.

Absolving Jihadis of Responsibility for Terrorism
[…] What is misleading, confusing, and “unhelpful” is classifying Muslims into categories. Relying on Islamic authorities who are not objective and use or misuse Islam for political purposes is even more misleading and “unhelpful.”
At least one senior Islamic cleric disturbed by this distinction is Sheikh Adil Al-Kalbani, former imam of the Grand Mosque in Mecca. A few months ago, he acknowledged with regret that, “they [ISIS] draw their ideas from what is written in our own books, from our own principles.”
He is correct. Classifying Muslims into categories is not only misleading; it feeds into the hands of those who try to obfuscate the dangerous nature of Islam as a political ideology.

Belgium Issues an Apology for Voting Saudi Arabia Into UN’s Women’s Rights Commission
Is it a sincere apology, or just Belgium politicians placating a population disgusted with a corrupt cronyism so out of control, that Saudi Arabia is now appointing to a United Nations women’s rights commission?
Ridiculous, but true, and proof to the point that the UN is corrupt to its core, as are its many diplomats, who have proven that oil money can open any door, and buy any position of influence.
Belgium is walking back its vote, chalking it up to a regrettable diplomatic mix-up.
After the vote sparked much criticism at home, Belgium Prime Minister Charles Michel told the parliament on Thursday…

ISIS Apologized to Israel for Attacking IDF Soldiers
Discussing the wider Israeli policy of “neutrality” in Syria, former defense minister Moshe Ya’alon accidentally admitted that Israel has an open communications channel with an Islamic State cell which operates in Gollan Heights.
“There was one case recently where Daesh opened fire and apologized,” Ya’alon said on Saturday, quoted by the Times of Israel…
While Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has justified the repeated incursions, explaining that IDF planes targeted a Hezbollah weapons convoy, Damascus has said that the Israeli strikes only benefit the Islamic State and other terrorist groups. Earlier this month the Syrian President Bashar Assad once again blamed Israel of helping militants terrorizing his country.
“You can assume that these terrorists are fighting for Israel. If they aren’t part of the regular Israeli army, they’re fighting for Israel. Israel has common goals with Turkey, the United States, France, Britain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and other countries,” Ynet quoted Assad as as saying.
“Israel is working on helping these terrorists wherever the Syrian army is advancing. It attacks in one form or another to provide them with assistance, and to stop the Syrian army’s momentum in the face of the terrorists,” the Syrian leader added.
In light of Ya’alon’s comments, Assad may have been right.

Smokescreens in Islam: Confusing the Public About the Facts
[M]any people seem to be buying into the narrative of Islam as a perfect religion of peace, even if saying so runs counter to more than 1400 years of history and the official record of classical Islamic scholarship about jihad. Islam, after all, conquered Persia, Turkey, North Africa and the Middle East, Greece, Spain and most of Eastern Europe — until its armies were stopped at the gates of Vienna in 1863.
At the same time, there can be no doubt that Muslim leaders who speak out against terrorism and radicalism need our support and that they must be the very people governments, churches, and the security services speak to and work with if we are to head towards the deradicalisation of Muslim communities in the West. Qureshi’s remarks deserve to be taken at face value. Neither he nor his foundation and its associated mosque and academy has any known links to radicalism. They belong to the largest mainstream form of Sunni Islam, the Hanafi school of Islamic law, and there is no overt reason that Qureshi is not sincere in his belief that Islam is a religion of peace.
At the same time, however, he must know better. His own second name is Mujahid, which means “a fighter in the jihad”. Not only that, but his mosque is, like most others in the UK, Deobandi in orientation; and it is out of Deobandi madrasas [Islamic religious schools] that the Taliban originated. Deobandi Islam, although mainstream, has over the years appealed to Muslims in Pakistan and abroad who have a fundamentalist disposition. Qureshi cannot be unaware of that. It is hard to be a reasonably knowledgeable Muslim and not know that calls for violence pervade the Qur’an and sacred Traditions, or that Islamic armies have been fighting European Christians, Indian Hindus, and others since the 7th century.

Turkey Blocks Access to Wikipedia
Turkey has blocked online encyclopedia Wikipedia, the telecommunications watchdog said on Saturday, citing a law allowing it to ban access to websites deemed obscene or a threat to national security.
The move is likely to further worry rights groups and Turkey’s Western allies, who say Ankara has sharply curtailed freedom of speech and other basic rights in the crackdown that followed last year’s failed coup.

(Russian) Influence and the Experts, Part III
by Diana West
One of the many incongruent things about what we might one day look back on as the great Russian Influence Scare is the air of discovery about it all. It feels forced.
Suddenly, nearly exactly one hundred years after the Russian Revolution, the Establishment in America have, for the first time, recreated themselves as counter-intelligence mavens bent on rooting out “Russian influence.” Never mind that previous incarnations of this nexus of power and press have consistently and strenuously denied such a thing as “Russian influence” existed — and especially in cases with ample documentation and sworn testimonies. That was all a lot of “Red Scare.” McCarthyism, a.k.a. Evil Incarnate.
The Establishment may have reversed itself with the abruptness of the old, zig-zagging Moscow party line, but until about yesterday, the consensus, which naturally echoed throughout academia (the corruption thereof laid out and dissected here by Bukovsky and Stroilov) was: No Russian Influence, No Subversion, Not Ever, Not Nowhere (and certainly not, for example, in the war councils of World War II). This same position was generally staked out by such Cold War scholars as Haynes and Klehr, co-authors of Venona and Spies and other works.
And now?
According to Uri Friedman of the Atlantic, John Earl Haynes now claims that “Russian intelligence agencies today appear more interested in manipulating U.S. policy and public opinion than the Soviet intelligence agencies of the ‘30s, ‘40s, and ‘50s, which focused more on information-gathering.”
Talk about whiplash. After all, as recently as 2014, Haynes and co-author Klehr wrote that in all of their studies, they had never even seen any significant “documentation” of such Kremlin influence.
This is what they wrote then:

A 12-year-old girl has been forced to drop out of a chess tournament because she was wearing an ‘improper’ and ‘seductive’ dress.
The chess champion was told in the middle of the second round of the competition that her clothing was a ‘temptation from a certain angle far, far away’ and that she must change.
But the girl — who was taking part in the National Scholastic Chess Championship 2017 in Putrajaya, Malaysia — felt ‘harassed and humiliated’ after the comments by the tournament’s chief arbiter.

Saudi Arabia’s ‘Lavish’ Gift to Indonesia: Radical Islam
Prior to Saudi Arabia’s attempts to spread Salafism across the Muslim world, Indonesia did not have terrorist organizations such as Hamas Indonesia, Laskar Jihad, Hizbut Tahrir, Islamic Defenders Front and Jemmah Islamiyah, to name just a few.
Today, it is rife with these groups, which adhere strictly to Islamic sharia law, Saudi Arabia’s binding legal system, and which promote it in educational institutions. Like al-Qaeda and ISIS, they deny women equal rights, believe in death by stoning for adulterers and hand amputation for thieves, and in executing homosexuals and “apostate” Muslims.

Putin Warns: The Situation in North Korea Has “Seriously Deteriorated”
While it’s easy to dismiss the rhetoric of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un as the ravings of a madman, world leaders appear to hold a different view.
With President Trump having deployed a Naval strike fleet to South Korea, China mobilizing over a hundred thousand troops to the border and Russia following suit with a mobilization on their southern border with North Korea, it appears a conflict is imminent.
Whether that comes in the form of a de-escalation should North Korea eliminate their weapons program, or all out war in the form of ICBM’s, Tomahawks and boots on the ground, a resolution to the problem will likely be seen in coming weeks and months.
And while we hope that cooler heads will prevail, it appears, evidenced by statements from the Trump Administration, as well as Russia’s President Vladimir Putin, that war may be the most likely scenario:
Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that the crisis over North Korea’s nuclear program is deepening after the issue dominated talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Moscow.
He and Abe believe the situation on the Korean peninsula has “seriously deteriorated,” Putin said Thursday after the Kremlin meeting. “We call on all states involved in the region’s affairs to refrain from military rhetoric and seek peaceful, constructive dialogue.”
Source: Bloomberg
Dialogue is certainly one approach, but if a video released by North Korea today is any indication of the kind of dialogue the rogue state wants to hold, then it’s time to prepare for war.

Facebook Conducted Research to Target Emotionally Vulnerable and Insecure Youth
FACEBOOK has come under fire over revelations it is targeting potentially vulnerable youths who “need a confidence boost” to facilitate predatory advertising practices.
The allegation was revealed this morning by The Australian which obtained internal documents from the social media giant which reportedly show how Facebook can exploit the moods and insecurities of teenagers using the platform for the potential benefit of advertisers.
The confidential document dated this year detailed how by monitoring posts, comments and interactions on the site, Facebook can figure out when people as young as 14 feel “defeated”, “overwhelmed”, “stressed”, “anxious”, “nervous”, “stupid”, “silly”, “useless”, and a “failure”.
Such information gathered through a system dubbed sentiment analysis could be used by advertisers to target young Facebook users when they are potentially more vulnerable.
While Google is the king of the online advertising world, Facebook is the other major player which dominates the industry worth about $80 billion last year.
But Facebook is not one to rest on its laurels. The leaked document shows it has been honing the covert tools its uses to gain useful psychological insights on young Australian and New Zealanders in high school and tertiary education.

Illegal Aliens Gang-Raped Mentally Disabled 14-Year-Old Girl
CLARK COUNTY, NV (The Las Vegas Review-Journal) — A 15-year-old boy charged in the gang rape of a 14-year-old special education student will be prosecuted in the adult justice system, a Clark County Family Court judge ruled Wednesday.
The teen, Leby Urquilla, is one of four boys charged, and the only juvenile to be certified as an adult as of Wednesday. Two adults are also jailed in connection with the case: Jose Mejia-Henriquez, 18, and the boy’s father, Leby Alas-Gomez, 39.
The victim, who has the mental capacity of a 7- or 8-year-old, told police she was sexually assaulted by at least six males on three separate occasions in November. The accusations came to light after a video depicting the girl being used in group sex acts began circulating around Del Sol Academy in December.
“They treated this special needs girl like a piece of cattle or property, to do with what they wanted,” Chief Deputy District Attorney Kimberly Adams said Wednesday in a small juvenile courtroom.

Illegal Alien Freed by Ice Has Murdered a Woman in Louisiana
NEW ORLEANS, LA (WWL-TV) — The suspect in the Terrytown murder of a mother Monday was arrested in New Orleans in 2015 for a similar crime.
Irwin Gomez-Colon was charged with rape, kidnapping and domestic abuse battery involving strangulation. Those charges were refused by the District Attorney’s office because of inconsistencies in victim’s statements as well as a lack of corroboration with physical evidence.
In April 2015, Gomez-Colon was charged with first-degree rape, second-degree kidnapping and domestic abuse battery involving strangulation. According to police records, the victim considered Gomez-Colon a family friend and let him into her home. The two chatted for about 30 minutes before Gomez-Colon asked to use the restroom. Records said the victim allowed him to do so and when he returned, he had a knife in his hand from the victim’s kitchen. Police records say Gomez took the victim into a rear bedroom and raped her.
After the sexual assault, police say Gomez-Colon took off. He was arrested later. In the most recent charges, Gomez-Colon is also accused of sexually assaulting his victim, as well as strangulation.

Migrant Crime Soars in Germany
The number of German suspects declined by 3.4 percent to 1,407,062. More than a million migrants have arrived in Germany in the last two years, largely from the Middle East. Concerns over security and integration initially pushed up the poll ratings of the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD), but support has slipped as the rate of arrivals has slowed. Chancellor Angela Merkel’s party, the Christian Democratic Union, has shown strong gains in recent polls, including in Germany’s most populous state of North Rhine-Westphalia. That region goes to the polls on May 14 in what is being seen as a bellwether for the general election in September. The UDC is currently level with the Social Democrats on 34 per cent.

Democrats Introduce Bill to Ban Pastors From Ministering to Homosexuals
This story is a good example of how politicians use phrasing to disguise what they’ re really doing, and the media play along because they support the obfuscation agenda. In some cases it’ s because the media really are that dumb and gullible, but the gullibility usually stems from their natural trust of Democrats — so it all comes back to the fact that they share the same agenda.
You’ve heard about something called “gay conversion therapy,” which sounds like some nonsense procedure in which a “therapist” of questionable credibility tries to work the gay out of someone. This is being offered up by Democrats as an example of medical fraud, and they have mounted an extraordinary effort to actually ban it on a nationwide basis. But quack therapists are not their real target, in spite of the way they and their media mouthpieces portray this:…

Planned Parenthood ‘Lamborghini Lady’ Negotiates Harvested Baby Part Prices in New Video
Center for Medical Progress founder claims PP guilty of “criminal trafficking and profiteering in fetal body parts”
A Planned Parenthood (PP) senior executive, who in 2015 admitted she wanted to make enough money off of harvested fetal parts to buy a “Lamborghini,” has again been caught haggling over baby body part prices…
During the exchange Gatter says the Pasadena PP clinic harvests tissue and organs from gestated fetuses up to 16 weeks old, but that other clinics she’d worked at had harvested at 24 weeks and later.
While federal law allows reimbursement for costs related to fetal organ or tissue donation, it does not allow the sale and purchase of specific organs and tissues, according to CMP.
In congressional testimony last year, Planned Parenthood (PP) claimed it hadn’t kept financial records of federal reimbursements, however contracts and invoices acquired by CMP showed tissue procurement agencies such as Novogenix, StemExpress and Advanced Bioscience Resources “all made monthly payments to Planned Parenthood based on the number of resalable fetal specimens the wholesalers’ workers could harvest inside the abortion clinics,” CMP notes in a press release.

The Premiere of “Bill Nye Saves the World” Sparks Massive Backlash
The Friday premiere of talk show “Bill Nye Saves the World” sparked a massive backlash after the show hosted a comedian, Rachel Bloom, to dance provocatively and denounce sexual mores. The performance marked a stark career departure for host Bill Nye, who has been widely beloved as a child educator. Nye served as honorary co-chair of Saturday’s March for Science to support state subsidies for the theory man-made global warming jeopardizes civilization itself.
Statements by Bloom’s parents uncovered exclusively by GotNews may explain why the 30 year old married comedian was willing to make the controversial performance.
Bloom’s performance of the song “My Sex Junk” on an episode of the new Netflix show featured her preaching that “there’s nothing [sexually] taboo,” singing she is “down for anything,” and advising viewers that having sex “how you want, it’s your godd*mn right.” The episode, entitled “The Sexuality Spectrum,” presents prescriptive cultural critiques from fringe humanities fields as central elements of biology and medicine.
Visible ogling Bloom and backup dancers at stage right, Nye, former presenter of the taxpayer-subsidized ‘90s children’s show “Bill Nye the Science Guy,” nods along as Bloom encourages the audience to consider trying anal sodomy.
A video of the performance that surfaced on YouTube [NSFW] has been received extremely negatively-at the time of press having been given 24,000 unfavorable ratings. That’s a negative rating by 98 percent of those who voted.

Andrew Turner dramatically quit as MP for the Isle of Wight just hours after details emerged of his conversation with politics students at Christ the King College in Newport
A veteran Tory MP was forced to resign last night after telling a group of students that being gay is ‘dangerous to society’.
Andrew Turner, a former Conservative Party vice-chairman, dramatically quit as MP for the Isle of Wight just hours after details emerged of his conversation with politics students at Christ the King College in Newport.
Mr Turner, 63, is also said to have told the group of A-level students homosexuality is ‘wrong’.
Tory high command acted swiftly after being alerted to the row.
Conservative chief whip Gavin Williamson rang Mr Turner to establish the facts and he was told to resign hours later.
A Tory source said: ‘We want to make clear there is no place in the party for those views.’ The MP also came close to being deselected two years ago after it emerged his fiancee had left him for one of his advisers.
Mr Turner, who was an Oxford contemporary of Theresa May and her husband Philip, has held the safe Tory seat since 2001. He was due to be reselected at 4pm yesterday but the meeting was postponed until after next week’s local elections following the intervention by Tory Central Office…

What Our Politicians Have Done to America
As we continue to look at the ‘goals’ of the UN we see Goal 16 Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels. This what the Communist Manifesto calls social justice. Those that don’t want to work will be taken care of by the government by taking from those that do produce to ‘sustain’ those who won’t work. This will also include the removal of borders and anyone who wants to come to America can. There will be no restrictions and they will probably be a protected class of people. Those that resist will be harassed by the IRS and any other federal agency that they can use to keep ‘unruly’ people under their thumb.
This is the communist agenda on steroids. Individuals will be required to do things that benefit the masses not the individual. Protected classes of people will no doubt include the homosexual community. They will have special privileges that the average person will not enjoy. Those coming in from foreign nations will be given special status at the cost of the legal citizen. We have seen this implemented under the Obama administration. Illegals coming over our southern border were given all the freebies that should only be for American citizens, welfare, food stamps, housing, medical care, education and many others. They get all this and we have veterans sleeping on the street and not getting the medical attention they need and were promised.
They want peaceful and inclusive societies. That means they will not allow any dissent. If you complain, you may disappear, like in Stalin’s Russia and Hitler’s Germany, never to be heard from again. When they talk about “Inclusive institutions” they are referring to corporations that follow the government’s concept of social justice that get special tax structures, grants and government contracts. Again we saw a lot of this in the Obama administration. Certain classes of people will be exempt from some laws. We saw in Obama’s first term people admitting voting more than once, a felony, not prosecuted at all simply because these people were black. Even the Black Panther thug, Shabazz, standing outside a voting precinct with a club warning people that they had better vote for Obama. He was prosecuted under Bush, but Eric Holder dropped the case.

I wonder how long the ‘News Feed’ would be without the involvement of Islam? Or, maybe that should be how short?
On seeking Baron David Rothschild on indictable charges. They seek him here, they seek him there, but are they really seeking him at all?
Re “What our Politicians have done to America”.
Still adding two and two and making half a dozen, JD?
“Mr. Trump said the media’s priorities were not the same as those of the American people.”
True, but how is the Trump administration’s 60 billion plus military budget increase supposed to be in the interest of the American people when his arrogant generals threaten pre-emptive thermo-nuclear attacks on Russia that could destroy all human life on the planet? Or his continued build-up of the surveillance and militarized police state. There are many other things too numerous to mention here that the Trump administration is doing that shows their insanity is no better than the rulers they replaced. The media’s priorities are nothing compared to this.
Diplomacy is best dealt with from a position of strength. One of Russia’s biggest allies is Iran. Iran is generally acknowledged as the spiritual and material supporter of proscribed terrorist gangs like Hezbollah. Iran has threatened continually since 1979, the destruction of the United States and Israel and any other country that decides to stand in its way.
Hezbollah is stationed in Syria and Lebanon and frequently shells or sends rockets indiscriminately into Israel, or organizes raids for Israeli kidnap victims or to just murder them in their beds. Iran, like North Korea is a rogue state supported by Russia.
That is why the military is re-building after the disaster of the Obama years.
If you actually want to believe this and ignore how much profit the war industry is making, fine.
If you also want to ignore and happy with the continued build-up of the surveillance and militarized police state, that is also fine.
Good luck America.
