Detroit-Area Doctor Charged With Genital Mutilation on Girls

DETROIT (AP) — A doctor was charged Thursday with performing genital mutilation on two young Minnesota girls who traveled to Michigan with their mothers, the first federal prosecution of what the government describes as “horrifying acts of brutality.”

Dr. Jumana Nagarwala was arrested after the 7-year-olds identified her as the person who performed procedures on them in February at a clinic in suburban Detroit, according to the FBI.

Nagarwala heard the allegations during a brief appearance in U.S. District Court and was returned to jail to await another hearing Monday. Prosecutors want to keep her locked up without bond.

Defense attorney Shannon Smith declined to comment to reporters. In a court filing, the FBI said many more girls have told investigators that Nagarwala performed procedures on their genitals.

“Despite her oath to care for her patients, Dr. Nagarwala is alleged to have performed horrifying acts of brutality on the most vulnerable victims,” said Kenneth Blanco, acting U.S. assistant attorney general.

Islamic Female Genital Mutilation Comes to America

Female genital mutilation—-a barbaric Islamic practice wherein the clitoris of a young girl is chopped off, so that she never feels any sexual pleasure ever in her life—-has come to the US.This practice is common in Islamic societies from Pakistan to Somalia. In most developed countries, it is banned, since it is so horrific and takes away a pleasure that God has intended all humans to enjoy.

However, today, in a first, a Muslim woman “doctor” Jumana Nagarwala (photo attached, complete with Hijab) was caught performing this practice for fellow Muslims in Detroit, Michigan. Her victims were Muslim girls aged 6-12…

Minneapolis Muslims Protest ‘Sharia’ Vigilante in Cedar-Riverside Area

Man “patrolling” Cedar-Riverside has community leaders, police on watch.

By Faiza Mahamud Star Tribune

A man trying to impose what he calls “the civil part of the sharia law” in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis has sparked anger among local residents and Muslim leaders.

Abdullah Rashid, 22, a Georgia native who moved to Cedar-Riverside last year, has been making the rounds in the Somali-dominated neighborhood, telling people not to drink, use drugs or interact with the opposite sex. If he sees Muslim women he believes are dressed inappropriately, he approaches them and suggests they should wear a jilbab, a long, flowing garment. And he says he’s recruiting others to join the effort.

But local Muslim leaders are sounding the alarm. They are working to stop Rashid’s group, General Presidency of the Religious Affairs and Welfare of the Ummah, and have notified Minneapolis police, who say he’s being banned from a Cedar-Riverside property. Some say the group is preying on vulnerable young Muslims in a community that has dealt with national scrutiny around radicalization and terrorism.

“What he’s doing is wrong and doesn’t reflect the community at all,” said Jaylani Hussein, executive director of the Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).

Minneapolis police received reports in February from concerned residents who saw Rashid in a dark green uniform that said “Muslim Defense Force” and “Religious Police” and had two flags associated with ISIS and other terrorist groups.

“We’ve had conversations with community members that live over there,” said Officer Corey Schmidt, a police spokesman. “Sometimes it takes a little bit of time to deal with it, but it’s something we’ve been monitoring.”

Abdullah Rashid is trying to enforce what he calls “the civil part of the sharia law.”

Jeff Van Nest, an FBI spokesman for Minneapolis, declined to comment.

In a recent interview, Rashid said he aims to turn Cedar-Riverside into a “sharia-controlled zone” where Muslims are learning about the proper practices of Islam and that “non-Muslims are asked to respect” it.

“People who don’t know me would say I’m a terrorist,” he said. “I’m someone who’s dedicated to Islam and trying to help the community all ways I can.”

But the Islamic Institute of Minnesota issued a statement Wednesday saying Rashid “does not in any way speak for the Islamic Institute of Minnesota or the Muslims in Minnesota.”

“We consider this matter as a dangerous precedent and a threat in our country and our way of life,” the statement said. “We ask our law enforcement agencies to consider this grave matter to protect Minnesotans.”

Permit to carry denied

Sharia law is a guide to daily life for practicing Muslims, derived from the Qur’an and the teachings of the prophet Mohammed. It tells Muslims, for example, what to eat and not to eat. Its interpretation and practice vary around the world.

Rashid, who was previously known as Devon James Miller, converted to Islam in 2009. He said he first started the religious police group in Georgia in 2013, and wants to grow it internationally…

Police: Woman Killed in ‘Intentional’ Fairfax Hit-and-Run (1)

WASHINGTON — A woman killed in a hit-and-run Friday morning in Fairfax County was struck twice by a car in what police are calling an “intentional act.”

The woman, who was struck about 10:15 a.m. on U.S. Route 50 approaching the Fairfax County Parkway, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver fled the scene in a vehicle described as blue or black Chevy or Mercedes Benz sedan with blue and yellow license plates. Police said the car may have front-end damage.

The woman was crossing Rugby Road, off Route 50, when the car struck her, turned around and struck her again, Fairfax County police spokeswoman Tawny Wright said in a Facebook Live update.

“We’re definitely looking into why this would have happened, whether there was a dispute or a random act,” Wright said.

The investigation is expected to snarl traffic on U.S. 50 for several hours, police said. The westbound lanes of U.S. 50 are closed.

Trump’s Comprehensive Volte-Face

by Srdja Trifkovic

During the presidential campaign and in the immediate aftermath of his election victory, Donald Trump had made a number of conciliatory remarks about Russia’s president Vladimir Putin and the possibility of substantial improvement in relations between Washington and Moscow. On the campaign trail he also made the well-publicized statement that NATO was obsolete, and last July he declared that “Crimea is none of our business.” He had also promised to end regime-change operations, advised Obama to stay out of Syria, and indicated that President Bashar al-Assad staying in power was not to be discounted.

In his first ten weeks in the White House President Trump has made U-turns on all key fronts. In the course of a single day—Wednesday, April 12—he made no fewer than four public statements which repudiate his previous positions. Standing next to NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg at an East Room news conference, Trump declared that NATO was “no longer obsolete.” Only days after unleashing cruise missiles against Syrian government forces he described Bashar al-Assad as a “butcher” over alleged chemical weapons attacks on civilians, sounding like an avid advocate of regime change. In an interview that aired also on Wednesday, Trump said that Putin was partly to blame for the conflict in Syria and denounced the Russian president for backing Bashar. At a White House press conference later in the day he said that “right now we are not getting along with Russia at all; we may be at an all-time low in terms of relationship with Russia.” Asked whether Syrian forces could have launched the chemical attack without Russia’s knowledge, Trump replied that it was possible but unlikely.

When asked by CNN’s Jim Acosta about apparent reversals, White House press secretary Sean Spicer replied, “Circumstances change.”…

EU Leaders Compared to ‘Zombies’ By Sweden Democrats’ Mattias Karlsson

EUROPEAN UNION leaders have been labelled as zombies who are unable to acknowledge the dream of a federal state of Europe has failed, Sweden’s most popular party has blasted.

Mattias Karlsson, the group leader of the Sweden Democrats in the Swedish Parliament, hammered Brussels for refusing to reform the ‘undemocratic’ bloc.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Mr Karlsson suggested it was only a matter of time before the EU crumbled completely.

“We’ve seen an increase in resistance against the European Union and its undemocratic structure in central Europe, in France, in Scandinavia and many other countries,” he said.

“I think the European Union is like a zombie, it’s actually dead but still walking. But in the end, it will show that this kind of structure is not sustainable. I think it will fall.”

Breaking the Palestinian’s Will to Fight

By Prof. Daniel Pipes

Daniel Polisar of Shalem College in Jerusalem shook the debate over Palestinian-Israeli relations in November 2015 with his essay, “What Do Palestinians Want?” In it, having studied 330 polls to “understand the perspective of everyday Palestinians” toward Israel, Israelis, Jews, and the utility of violence against them, he found that Palestinian attackers are “venerated” by their society—with all that that implies.

He’s done it again with “Do Palestinians Want a Two-State Solution?” This time, he pored over some 400 opinion polls of Palestinian views to find consistency among seemingly contradictory evidence on the topic of ways to resolve the conflict with Israel. From this confusing bulk, Polisar convincingly establishes that Palestinians collectively hold three related views of Israel: it has no historical or moral claim to exist, it is inherently rapacious and expansionist, and it is doomed to extinction. In combination, these attitudes explain and justify the widespread Palestinian demand for a state from “the river to the sea,” the grand Palestine of their maps that erases Israel.

With this analysis, Polisar has elegantly dissected the phenomenon that I call Palestinian rejectionism. That’s the policy first implemented by the monstrous mufti of Jerusalem, Amin al-Husseini, in 1921 and consistently followed over the next near-century. Rejectionism demands that Palestinians (and beyond them, Arabs and Muslims) repudiate every aspect of Zionism: deny Jewish ties to the land of Israel, fight Jewish ownership of that land, refuse to recognize Jewish political power, refuse to trade with Zionists, murder Zionists where possible, and ally with any foreign power, including Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia, to eradicate Zionism.

The continuities are striking. All major Palestinian leaders—Amin al-Husseini, Ahmad al-Shukeiri, Yasir Arafat, Mahmoud Abbas, and Yahya Sinwar (the new leader of Hamas in Gaza)—have made eliminating the Zionist presence their only goal. Yes, for tactical reasons, they occasionally compromised (most notably, in the Oslo Accords of 1993), but then they reversed these exceptions as soon as possible.

In other words, the Israeli-Palestinian “peace process” that began in 1989 has been a massive charade.[…]

Destroying Islamic Terrorism Must be Priority in Syria, Blasts Leo McKinstry

AS A defender of freedom, Winston Churchill fiercely opposed the Soviet communist regime throughout his political career.

Yet when Russia was invaded by Germany in June 1941, he had no hesitation in giving his full support to Stalin.

In a radio broadcast he declared: “We have but one single, irrevocable purpose. We are resolved to destroy Hitler and every vestige of the Nazi regime.

“It follows therefore that we shall give whatever help we can to Russia and the Russian people.”

But that kind of clarity is absent today in the West’s response to the Syrian crisis. In place of resolve there is muddle.

Our leaders have no strategy. Instead they oscillate between moral posturing and military paralysis. The goal of the West in Syria and the Middle East should be obvious: to crush the force of Islamic terrorism, which is by far the deadliest threat that our civilisation faces.

Italy Under Pressure Due to 30% Migrant Rise — Frontex

24,250 arrived via Central Mediterranean route Jan-March 2017

(ANSA) — Brussels, April 12 — Italy’s ability to cope with the influx of asylum seekers is under strain following a 30% increase in the number of arrivals so far this year, EU border agency Frontex said Wednesday. “Italy remained under migratory pressure last month,” it said. “The number of migrantsarriving through the Central Mediterranean route in March rose by more than one-fifth to 10,800. “This brought the total for the first three months of the year to nearly 24,250, almost 30% higher than the figure from the same period of 2016”.

The agency said nationals from Bangladesh, Nigeria and Guinea accountedfor the largest number of detected migrants. Since the beginning of March, the number of migrants from the Horn of Africa (especially Eritreans and Somalis) has started to increase, probably in large part because of the improving weather conditions on the land route to Libya their home countries, it added.

Thousands of Sex Abuse Claims Against UN ‘Peace” Troops

United Nations “peacekeeping” troops have faced some 2,000 allegations of rape, pedophilia, and sexual abuse of civilians in a little over a decade, an explosive investigation by the Associated Press found. Many of the victims were just young children. And considering the fact that it is well known and even acknowledged by the UN that the atrocities perpetrated by its soldiers are drastically under-reported, the thousands of accusations likely represent just the tip of a gigantic iceberg of horror. Adding insult to injury is the impunity with which the soldiers act, victims say, with the UN’s “peace” forces virtually never held accountable for their savage crimes.

  1. “Local and national Muslim groups have disavowed his actions, saying that they do not represent the true Islam.”

Indeed, they’re angry with him for showing their hand too soon.

  2. In a sane, healthy, Christian United States Sharia cop and genital mutilation doctor would both be floating down the St. Lawrence Seaway.

    • Rowing together in a little boat, practicing for their soon-to-be-attempted trans-Atlantic crossing?

  3. I wish to deny what my senses are telling me, but it is becoming increasingly apparent that Donald J Trump has fallen into bed with the Globalists.

If indeed his turning from what he promised the American people and those outside the United States who held such aspirations for his presidency becomes cemented in actions that can no longer be denied as against all that was hoped for in his election, then all I can add to my grave disappointment, is that God help all of us.

    • The working theory is that the most powerful members of the Deep State had a meeting with Trump in a heretofore secret room with no windows.

In that room Trump received, “the Talk,” which probably involved veiled threats against his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Wilder versions of this theory postulate there is a film from Dallas ’63 taken from an angle never seen by the general public.

      • I’m still in denial. Your scenario would already have played heavily on his mind the moment he announced his candidacy without any further incentive being offered.

I have listened to many ‘talking heads’ over the past few days and not one of them is in sync with the others on what is actually occurring within the White House.

I guess at this time it is still wait, watch, listen and learn.

        • Nemesis-

But look at how the MSM did a complete 180 in lockstep once Trump struck Syria. It was almost as if someone, say the Director of the CIA, sent out the call to the MSM and indicated that Trump was with the program and they should tone down their rhetoric.

          • Right now I’m paying very close attention to what is occurring with North Korea, and in particular, how the Chinese are reacting.

The Chinese stance so far has been unprecedented in that previously any threats applied to the North Koreans got immediate reaction from China in support of North Korea.

That has not occurred this time, and the Chinese have actually threatened North Korea.

Globalist intention? Or has Trump taken a page out of the Globalist playbook to be used against them?

Then next few days should be very telling.

  4. Female genital mutilation is still being carried out in the U.K. and Europe. So far, there has not been ONE conviction for this utterly barbaric practice.

Official statistics in England indicate that every hour there is a report of FGM. Should anybody be unfamiliar with the exact practice, the following is on the National Health Service’s Website in the United Kingdom:-

Type 1 (clitoridectomy) – removing part or all of the clitoris.
Type 2 (excision) – removing part or all of the clitoris and the inner labia (lips that surround the vagina), with or without removal of the labia majora (larger outer lips).
Type 3 (infibulation) – narrowing of the vaginal opening by creating a seal, formed by cutting and repositioning the labia.

Other harmful procedures to the female genitals, including pricking, piercing, cutting, scraping or burning the area.
FGM is often performed by traditional circumcisers or cutters who do not have any medical training. However, in some countries it may be done by a medical professional.
Anaesthetics and antiseptics aren’t generally used, and FGM is often carried out using knives, scissors, scalpels, pieces of glass or razor blades.
FGM often happens against a girl’s will without her consent and girls may have to be forcibly restrained.

Where are the protests by the “pink pussy hat brigade” on this issue, or is it just Christian Caucasians they feel comfortable railing against?

    • Mary-
