Gates of Vienna News Feed 3/31/2017

When three home invaders broke into a house in Oklahoma, they encountered the son of the homeowner, who shot all three dead with an AR-15 rifle. Not only will the son not be charged for killing them, but the woman who allegedly drove their getaway car is being charged with felony murder, since she was an accessory to the felony act that resulted in the deaths of the three perpetrators.

In other news, the mayor of the Danish city of Odense has to be accompanied by armed bodyguards. He apparently offended members of the immigrant gang called “Black Army in Odense”, so that his life is now in danger.

Investor Burned by Madoff Leaps to Death From Luxury Hotel Balcony

A hedge-fund executive who lost millions in Bernie Madoff’s infamous Ponzi scheme jumped to his death from the luxury Sofitel New York Hotel on Monday afternoon, authorities said.

Charles Murphy, 56, whose fund at Fairfield Greenwich invested more than $7 billion with Madoff, leaped from a room he had rented on the 24th floor around 4:42 p.m. and landed on a fourth-floor terrace, according to police sources.

The financier was at the helm of the prestigious hedge fund when the firm poured billions into Madoff’s coffers.

Fairfield lost nearly $50 million when Madoff’s scam imploded, according to the Wall Street Journal (paywall).

Italy: Bank of Greece Governor Slams Politicians Over Crisis

In February 750 mln withdrew from bank accounts

(ANSA) — TRIESTE — Bank of Greece governor, Yannis Stournaras, criticized Greece’s political system and institutional setup when analysing the reasons of the country’s economic problems, Ibna reported. Speaking to Kathimerini newspaper, Stournaras said “we were in a boat that was taking on water and instead of taking clear to plug the hole we were stabbing each other”. The Governor added that “we suffer from a lack of stable institutions, a lack of trust, a lack of courage of the political system to tell people the truth”.

The big question is, according to Stournaras, former Greece’s Finance Minister in the Samaras administration, why other countries exited their bailout programs before Greece.

Stournaras mentioned GDP growth of 8% in 2016 for Ireland, as well as economic improvement in Cyprus, Spain and Portugal.

Governor’s comments come as the Greek government is still struggling to arrive at an agreement with the country’s creditors that will see the ongoing review of the bailout program — which has been stalled for over one year — conclude successfully. According to the BoG, Greeks withdrew 750 million euros from their bank accounts in February and cash outflows will continue to rise steadily in March due to the prolonged delays of the evaluation completion and growing concern about the overall risk of the Greek economy.

The Overlapping Crises Are Coming, Regardless of Who’s in Power

The status quo is falling apart for profoundly structural reasons: promises made when growth was robust, debt was modest, energy was cheap and abundant and the work force was far more numerous than those dependent on the central state’s “pay as you go” pension and welfare programs — these promises made in yesteryear can no longer be kept, regardless of who’s in power.

We cannot get blood out of a turnip, and those who claim we can are only exacerbating the coming crises with their fantasies and denials.

I’ve been addressing these slow-moving, inevitable crises for the past 10 years. Despite the illusion of tepid “growth” and the maintenance of the status quo, beneath the surface everything is becoming much more fragile and increasingly brittle.

Even Timothy Geithner concedes this in his recent Foreign Affairs article on how to deal with the next global financial crisis. The central banks and states have expended all their ammunition — lowering interest rates, creating money out of thin air to bolster systemic liquidity, buying bonds and other assets to prop up shaky markets, and borrowing immense sums to prop up government spending — and there is little left for the next crisis.

After Dramatic ObamaCare Failure, Trump Now Faces a Looming Government Shutdown He May Not be Able to Prevent

If you thought that the Obamacare debacle was bad, just wait until you see what happens next. The continuing resolution that is currently funding the government expires on April 28th, and if a new funding agreement is not reached prior to that time, there will be a government shutdown like we witnessed in 2013 starting on April 29th. Unfortunately, as I will explain below, if a government shutdown happens it may go for a lot longer than just a couple of weeks this time around.

April 28th may sound like it is quite some time away, but because the congressional calendar has so many “ holes” in it, there is actually not very much time for Congress to act.

If you can believe it, there are only 12 “ legislative days” between now and April 28th, and if something is not done on one of those 12 days the government will shut down on April 29th.

Needless to say, a government shutdown would greatly rattle the financial markets. Thanks to the Obamacare disaster, the Dow has now experienced its longest losing streak in six years, and another down day for the Dow on Tuesday would make it the longest losing streak since 1978.

Buchanan: The Ryancare Route — Winning by Losing?

Humiliation of Obamacare reform may prove watershed moment for Trump

Did the Freedom Caucus just pull the Republican Party back off the ledge, before it jumped to its death? A case can be made for that.

Before the American Health Care Act, aka “Ryancare,” was pulled off the House floor Friday, it enjoyed the support — of 17 percent of Americans. Had it passed, it faced an Antietam in the GOP Senate, and probable defeat.

Had it survived there, to be signed by President Trump, it would have meant 14 million Americans losing their health insurance in 2018.

First among the losers would have been white working-class folks who delivered the Rust Belt states to President Trump.

“Victory has a thousand fathers; defeat is an orphan,” said JFK.

So, who are the losers here?

First and foremost, Speaker Paul Ryan and House Republicans who, having voted 50 times over seven years to repeal Obamacare, we learned, had no consensus plan ready to replace it.

FS1’s Bayless: Kaepernick Had Positive National and International Impact for His Stance

In a Monday debate, Fox Sports 1 “Undisputed” co-host Skip Bayless praised free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick for his 2016 national anthem protest, calling it “powerful” with a “positive” national and international impact.

“Has there ever been a more powerful spokesman than Colin Kaepernick became early this football season?” Bayless asked. “He had positive national, if not international, impact for the literal stance that he took.”

[Comment: Another American who hates America — he’ll probably end up on the unemployment line with his over hyped quarterback buddy Kaepernick.]

Gowdy on Calls for Nunes to be Replaced as Intel Chair: ‘We’Re Not Going to Take Advice From Sen Schumer’

Monday on Fox News Channel’ s “ The First 100 Days,” Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) responded to calls by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) for Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) to step aside as House Intelligence Committee chairman due to questions over his abilities to be an impartial arbiter. Gowdy dismissed Schumer’ s calls and said that Nunes had done nothing wrong with his investigatory efforts as committee chairman. “ I just love it when Senator Schumer gives Republicans advice on what we ought to do,” Gowdy said. “ Devin is doing exactly what the chairman ought to do. When you have a source that has information, you handle that information safely, securely, which is exactly what he did. I wish Senator Schumer and some of the other Democrats would be more interested in authenticity and the reliability of the underlying data and not the means by which it was acquired. Whether it was the White House or Waffle House, what difference does it make if the information is reliable and authentic? It just so happens that Devin had to do it this way. So, we’ re not going to take advice from Chuck Schumer on who our chairpeople ought to be.”

Mass. College Professor: White Males Are a Cancer and Must Die, Urges Students to Kill Themselves

Upon retiring, Massachusetts College Professor and liberal Noel Ignatiev gave a ranting speech in which he lambasted white males as the cancer of the world:

“If you are a white male, you don’t deserve to live. You are a cancer, you’re a disease, white males have never contributed anything positive to the world! They only murder, exploit and oppress non-whites! At least a white woman can have sex with a black man and make a brown baby but what can a white male do? He’s good for nothing…

Obviously, all whites need to be destroyed, but why not start with white males? If you are a thoughtful person, with a social consciousness who considers himself white, you will consider suicide.”

The thing is, Prof. Ignatiev is a white male!

McCain Whines About Threats to Globalist “New World Order”

Warmongering U.S. Senator John McCain (R-Ariz.; shown), perhaps the most aggressive neocon globalist in the Senate, complained in Europe last week that what he called the “New World Order” was “under enormous strain.” The widely ridiculed “Republican in Name Only,” or RINO as critics refer to him, also defended key globalist institutions such as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the European Union (EU), both of which are under growing pressure from outraged citizens demanding a return of national sovereignty and self-government. Critics were quick to ridicule McCain and some of his Kremlin-centered conspiracy theories, but the globalist establishment fawned over his comments.

With the “New World Order under enormous strain” amid what he described as a “the titanic struggle with forces of radicalism,” American and European globalists “can’t stand by and lament, we’ve got to be involved,” McCain was quoted as saying by the online EU Observer. In other words, those who oppose his vision of globalism and Big Government are “radical.” Meanwhile, those who support his extremist vision of never-ending unconstitutional war, the erosion of national sovereignty, and an end run around the U.S. Constitution’s limits on government are the “moderates.” At least that is what the failed GOP presidential contender wants people to believe.

Professor: Google Home Device Could Allow Government to Listen in on Private Conversations

A professor at the University of Texas thinks that “mission creep” could one day lead to the government listening in on private conversations in people’s homes via the new Google Home device.

Google Home is a newly launched wi-fi connected “smart speaker” that responds to voice commands with relevant information via a virtual speaking assistant. The device is a rival to Amazon Echo, which performs many of the same functions.

According to Dr. Philip Doty, associate dean of the School of Information at the University of Texas, privacy advocates are right to be concerned, especially in light of revelations that the CIA allegedly hacked Samsung Smart TVs to record private conversations.

Raiders’ Move to Vegas Latest Example of Sports Crony Capitalism

“I am proud that we stood firm in refusing to use public money to subsidize stadium construction,” said Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf in reaction to the decision of the National Football League (NFL) to allow the Oakland Raiders franchise to relocate to Las Vegas, Nevada. The NFL owners voted 31-1 to approve the move, in which the Las Vegas taxpayers will cough up $750 million in public funds to “assist” Raider owner Mark Davis in building a new stadium.

The NFL owners regularly demand multi-million subsidies from municipalities to build new stadiums, or remodel old ones. Judith Grant Long, an urban planning professor at Harvard, stated that about 70 percent of the bill for these sports complexes are paid for by local taxpayers. Long also contends that 13 teams have garnered an actual profit off stadium subsidies, receiving even more money than what it costs to build the stadiums.

Schumer Goes Off on Trump Voter

Schumer, the top Senate Democrat, lost his cool on Sunday night at Upper East Side restaurant Sette Mezzo, according to witnesses.

He was dining with friends when he encountered Joseph A. Califano Jr. — the former US secretary of health, education and welfare under President Jimmy Carter and domestic policy adviser to President Lyndon B. Johnson — and his wife, Hilary, who were having a quiet dinner.

Supremes Overturn Gorsuch Ruling, And Dems Vow to Filibuster

The Democrats just confirmed they will filibuster Gorsuch, requiring that he be withdrawn and replaced.

Democratic Sen. Bob Casey, son of the famous Pennsylvania pro-life Gov. Bob Casey, who is up for reelection, and who pretends to be pro-life, announced he will join the filibuster. Gorsuch and the pro-choice backed and funded Federalist Society made that easy for Sen. Casey to do. It might even help his reelection in light of Gorsuch’s pro-choice performance…

Never in my lifetime have I seen so many advertisements for a Supreme Court nominee, but then the Koch billionaires are allegedly paying for them. And, Gorsuch, a term limit CFR member will join two other CFR members on the court, Breyer and Ginsberg. Here is a short tutorial on the CFR.

The first week after his nomination, Neil Gorsuch told a US senator that President Donald Trump’s tweets about the judiciary, i.e., Judge Robard’s restraining order against Trump’s immigration ban, are “demoralizing” and “disheartening.” He also said in his confirmation hearing that “Judges have to “start with a heavy, heavy presumption in favor of precedent in our system,” which is why he loves stare decisis, and will probably never vote to overturn Roe v. Wade. Stare decisis is Latin for “to stand by things decided,” and is the doctrine of precedent.

During the confirmation hearings, while being questioned by Sen. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., on the destruction of unborn children, Gorsuch stated “the Supreme Court of the United States has held in Roe v. Wade that a fetus is not a person for purposes of the Fourteenth Amendment.”

When Durbin asked if he accepted that, the judge replied, “That’s the law of the land. I accept the law of the land, senator, yes.”

And his statement on “same-sex marriage,” Gorsuch acknowledged the Supreme Court had ruled such marriages are protected by the Constitution. He declared Obergefell v. Hodges, which struck down “same-sex marriage” bans nationwide in 2015, to be “absolutely settled law.”

I believe Gorsuch will be confirmed, but I am praying he is not. The theatre being played out by the democrats and some of the left leaning neo-conservative Republicans is just that, theatre for the dumbed down believing masses, who don’t understand the game.

One need only remember that in 2006, when Neil Gorsuch was nominated by George W. Bush, “not a single Democrat opposed his confirmation in 2006,” tweeted Mitch McConnell on February 1st.

Tancredo — The Republic at Risk: Deep State Opponents Seek to End the Trump Presidency by Leaks and Sabotage

by Tom Tancredo

We are witnessing the unraveling of the fabric of constitutional government, and only a fool can believe it will end well.

The nastiest opponents to President Trump inside and out of government apparently feel justified in using “any means necessary” to defeat and remove him. Every day sees more evidence of a desire not only to block his policies but to drive him from office. While it does not yet rise to the level of an organized conspiracy, it does raise serious issues of constitutional fidelity.

First, in the weeks following the November election, we saw street protest and marches, followed by lawsuits, then leaks from inside government, and then talk of “impeachment” over crimes for which no evidence exists.

And folks, in the words of Al Jolson, you ain’t seen nothing yet. It’s probably going to get worse.

The Transformation of Our Nation Into a Complete Surveillance State is Almost in Place: “You’re Known, Your Vehicle is Known, Your Daily Itinerary, Shopping Habits… it’s All Being Recorded”

The headlines are awash with the recent tensions with North Korea, and most are focused intently upon this act of the play that has been running hot for several years, now. Akin to the proverbial frog in cold water, however, we are not paying as much attention to the surveillance state that is continuing to wrap its tentacles around us. Eurasia is our ally, Eastasia is our enemy…and nobody notices that the chocolate ration has been diminished. While everyone focuses on what is reported in the headline news, everybody misses what is happening right before their eyes.

Point of Sale is the new jail, the ubiquitous surveillance system that records your every purchase and stores it in a personal database…an algorithm…in the government storage facility in Utah. Look above that register. It doesn’t matter whether you have a debit or credit purchase or not. Paying cash? Your anonymity only lasts until your image is captured in the little black dome camera right above your head…right next to the register. The sale is recorded, as well as your image.

Now the biometrics are becoming advanced enough to be able to measure the spacing between your eyes, the shapes of the ears, and other idiosyncrasies that are peculiar to each individual. But these differences do not matter, as long as they can be catalogued. All the states pretty much have Real ID, now, with driver’s licenses all linked into a central database and passed through the fusion centers and police departments at local, state, and national level. 1984 is now.

Here is an excerpt from the Passports page of the State Department of January 12, 2016:…

Three Dead After Broken Arrow-Area Homeowner’s Son Shoots Intruders With AR-15

Wagoner County authorities are investigating a triple homicide in an unincorporated area of Broken Arrow in Wagoner County after a home invasion on Monday, March 27.

Sheriff’s office spokesman Deputy Nick Mahoney said the homeowner’s adult son shot three male intruders — wearing all black, masks and gloves — with an AR-15 during an apparent home invasion.

Mahoney said two of the deceased were juveniles and one was an adult between the ages of 18 and 19. No names had been released by press time.

According to Mahoney, authorities have a 21-year-old female in custody who turned herself in to the Broken Arrow Police Department, claiming “She drove the individuals to the house to burglarize it,” he said.

Deputies received a call at about 12:30 p.m. of a shooting at a residence in the 9100 block of Clearview Drive, Mahoney said.

“Upon arrival to the scene, deputies discovered three individuals who were deceased,” he said. “Preliminary investigation indicates these three individuals showed up to this residence with the intent to burglarize it.”

“These three individuals forced entry through a back sliding-glass door,” he added.

Mahoney said upon making entrance into the residence, the intruders encountered the homeowner’s son who opened fire with an AR-15 assault rifle, killing all three suspects. Two of the victims died inside the home, while a third made it out to the driveway before collapsing, he said.

Neither the homeowner, who was also home at the time, nor his son were injured during the incident, Mahoney said. He said they both went voluntarily to the sheriff’s office to fill out a statement.

Mahoney indicated that the preliminary investigation pointed to self-defense…

‘Too Many White Students’ Leads to Budget Cuts for Los Angeles School

Outrage has grown at Walter Reed Middle School in North Hollywood, as the school faces layoffs and increased class sizes due to a law limiting funds for schools with a higher white student body.

The Los Angeles Unified School District provides more funding for schools where the white population is below 30 percent.

In a letter to parents, the district noted the highly regarded middle school had been above the percentage for the past couple years.

The racial formula was a condition imposed by court decisions dealing with desegregation in the 1970s.

Trump to Undo Obama’s Climate-Change Agenda

(FOX NEWS) Moving forward with a campaign pledge to unravel former President Obama’s sweeping plan to curb global warming, President Trump on Tuesday is set to sign an executive order that will suspend, rescind or flag for review more than a half-dozen measures in an effort to boost domestic energy production in the form of fossil fuels.

EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt told “Fox & Friends” that the president will “set a new course” that is both “pro-jobs” and “pro-environment.”

“It’s going to create jobs in the oil and gas sector,” he said. “For too long, over the last several years, you’ve had certain industries, certain sectors of our economy that were within the crosshairs of the EPA.”

That, Trump remarked, will grow our economy, bring back jobs, and create an energy revolution.

Twitter Temporarily Censored Drudge Report Tweets Behind ‘Sensitive Content’ Filter

Earlier today, users on Twitter reported that tweets from the official account of the Drudge Report were being hidden from users behind a “sensitive content” filter.

A screenshot published on the British news site Westmonster revealed the filtering of the Drudge Report, one of the largest and highest-profile conservative sites on the web.

The only way to unblock tweets marked as “sensitive” by Twitter is to opt-in by checking a box in your account’s “safety” settings. By making the system opt-in rather than opt-out, Twitter provides a censored, filtered service to its users by default.

Reports of the Drudge Report’s account being put behind the filter were confirmed by a Breitbart reporter and by ZeroHedge, which reported that “hardly any tweets were visible” from the Report’s account when they logged in to Twitter earlier today.

Update: Woman Arrested After Broken Arrow-Area Man Fatally Shoots Three Intruders With AR-15

The son of a Broken Arrow-area homeowner fatally shot three masked intruders, two of whom were juveniles, during a home invasion Monday, authorities said.

Police later arrested an Oologah woman who is believed to be the getaway driver on three complaints of first-degree murder and three complaints of first-degree burglary.

The home invasion and shootings in the 9100 block of Clearview Drive were reported around 12:30 p.m. When Wagoner County sheriff’s deputies arrived, they found one person lying in the driveway and two others lying in the house. All three were dead.

Two of the deceased were 16 or 17 years old, and the third was 18 or 19, Deputy Nick Mahoney said. Their names had not been released by Monday evening.

Mahoney said the homeowner’s 23-year-old son shot the man and two boys with an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle after they broke into the house, which is about two-thirds of a mile east of the Broken Arrow city limits in Wagoner County. The property is just south of 91st Street and west of 241st East Avenue.

The three intruders were wearing all-black clothing, masks and gloves, Mahoney said. They forced their way into the home through a glass door in the back, he said.

When asked if investigators thought the intruders had targeted the house, Mahoney said investigators believe the home invasion was “completely random.”

The son, who lives at the residence, told deputies he was sleeping when he was awakened by “loud bangs” coming from the back door. He armed himself with the rifle and opened fire when the intruders came inside and he encountered them in the hallway, he told the deputies. Two of the intruders died in the kitchen, while the third made his way outside and succumbed to his injuries in the driveway.

Investigators found a knife on one of the deceased in the kitchen and brass knuckles on the other, Mahoney said.

Later that afternoon, 21-year-old Elizabeth Marie Rodriguez of Oologah turned herself in at the Broken Arrow Police Department after seeing media reports about the shootings, Mahoney said.

She reportedly indicated to police that she had driven the three burglars to the house and was supposed to have picked them up after the burglary.

She was booked into the Wagoner County Jail on three complaints each of first-degree murder and first-degree burglary. A person who is committing a felony when a death occurs can be charged with felony murder.

The homeowner and the son, who reportedly did not know the intruders, went to the Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office to submit formal statements. Mahoney said the shootings appear to have been in self-defense, but he clarified that the case will remain under investigation for some time.

The fatal shootings could be viewed by prosecutors as falling under Oklahoma’s “Make My Day” law, which says a resident has the right to use deadly force if an intruder has entered or is in the process of entering the resident’s home.

The names of the homeowner and his son are being withheld at this time, but Mahoney said no are charges are expected to be filed on the son for the shooting…

White House Infighting Over Muslim Brotherhood

(WASHINGTON TIMES) President Trump has — for the time being — put on the back burner an executive order designating the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization, according to U.S. officials close to a heated debate inside the administration over the status of the global Islamist movement.

While the White House has declined to comment publicly, officials speaking on condition of anonymity say the administration backed down from a plan to designate the Brotherhood last month after an internal State Department memo advised against it because of the movement’s loose-knit structure and far-flung political ties across the Middle East.

The memo “explained that there’s not one monolithic Muslim Brotherhood,” according to one of the officials, who told The Washington Times that while the movement may well be tied to such bona fide terrorist groups as Hamas, its more legitimate political activities would complicate the terrorist designation process.

400 ISIS Jihadists Back in UK, Warns Security Expert

Security fail — or police state win?

The top priority for any government is meant to be to protect its citizens.

Britain has allowed hundreds of battle-hardened ISIS fanatics to walk back into the country.

Security services are now warning that more than 400 ISIS jihadists are back in Britain.

It is an absurd, mad position to put the public in. Why on Earth were these nutcases ever allowed to return? Why were their passports not cancelled and citizenship stripped?

Instead, Britain now faces the very real possibility of trained killing machines carrying out attacks on the streets of London or elsewhere.

When we talk about strong borders outside of the EU, we usually talk about the numbers of migrants. Now the country is reduced to allowing in terrorists.

Desperate Spain Tackles Calls for Independence by Splashing Millions on Catalonia

MADRID has announced major infrastructure investments for Catalonia to stave off calls for independence as regions across Europe attempt to split from traditional unions.

Madrid yesterday said it would block any Scottish attempt to join the European Union (EU) through the back door over fears it may inspire Catalonia to follow suit.

Now prime minister Mariano Rajoy has promised to invest €3.9billion (£3.3billion) over the next 8 years in rail projects for the region.

The project, a top demand from the Catalan government, is hoped to weaken demand for an independence push within the region’s business community.

Italy: Poletti in Fresh Storm Over Soccer-Not-CV Comments

Labour minister says relations of trust crucial for job hunters

(ANSA) — Rome, March 28 — Labour Minister Giuliano Poletti is at the centre of a fresh storm after suggesting it may be more important for job hunters to network by playing soccer than to send out CVs.

On Monday the minister told students at a professional high school in Bologna that “the relationship of trust is an increasingly essential issue” in a job hunt, adding that more opportunities are created “playing 5-a-side football than sending out CVs”.

The comments came under heavy fire from many quarters, attacks which Poletti said were in bad faith.

“I did not belittle the value of the CV, but I stressed the importance of a relationship of trust that can develop outside the school context,” he said.

Poletti was in the middle of a similar storm on January, when he apologised for saying it’s better not to have some young people who go abroad for work “under your feet”.

At the time, he said he was trying to stress that young people who emigrate are not necessarily the people with the most skills.

Matteo Salvini, the leader of the rightwing populist anti-immigrant and anti-euro Northern League, called on Poletti to quit on Tuesday. “The deplorable Labour Minister Poletti yesterday told students in Bologna that it is better to play five-a-side football that send CVs,” said Salvini.

“He’s the same guy that said it was better not to have young Italians forced to go abroad to seek work under your feet. “Resignation, shame, apologies and resignation”. Northern League Senators protested against the minister in the upper chamber, waving placards saying “Poletti should apologise”.

Italy: Gentiloni Says EU Flexibility Possible, Necessary

Debate not just about Italy, says premier

(ANSA) — Rome, March 28 — Premier Paolo Gentiloni said Tuesday that it is necessary to obtain greater flexibility in the application of European Union budget rules. “We have to be certain that a debate is taking pace about the margins of the Stability Pact and it does not just concern Italy,” Gentiloni said. “It will go on over the next few months and we will take part because it is not just possible, but necessary in a time when growth should be encouraged”.

Italy is currently preparing a budget adjustment of around 3.4 billion euros after the European Commission demanded that it reduce its structural deficit by an additional 0.2% of GDP by the end of April to avert infringement procedures.

Bossi, 75, is accused of taking money when he was head of the formerly secessionist group.

The prosecutor asked for a one-and-a-half-year term for Bossi’s son Renzo, known as The Trout, on the same charges, and two and a half years for former League treasurer Francesco Belsito. Fines of 800 euros for Belsito, 700 euros for Bossi senior and 500 euros for Bossi junior were also asked.

Italy: Police, Protestors Clash Over Olive-Tree Removals for TAP

Sit-in against gas pipeline tunnel

(ANSA) — Melendugno, March 28 — Police on Tuesday clashed with protestors aiming to prevent the removal of 200 olive trees in Melendugno, in the southern Puglia region, for a tunnel for the TranAdriatic Pipeline (TAP) gas pipeline project. Police charged twice in order to move protestors away from gates to the work site and a number of people were injured.

Some of the protestors suffered bruising and others felt ill after the clashes, union sources said. The removal of the olive trees was suspended, but later resumed.

Tension remained high later in the day and demonstrators threw stones at police was trucks entered the site, hurting two officers.

The police baton-charged the protesters again to stop them getting into the site.

Mayors and councillors from ‘No TAP’ towns and villages took part in the protest, as did two regional councillors, Cosimo Borracino of the Italian Left (SI) and Antonio Trevisi of the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S), along with M5S MP Daniela Donno. The TranAdriatic Pipeline, which was recently approved by the environment ministry and by the Council of State, Italy’s highest administrative court, aims to bring Caspian gas to Europe. Puglia Governor Michele Emiliano said the regional government had decided to appeal against yesterday’s decision by the environment ministry to give the project the go-ahead.

He said he had called the first “technical talks” between the regional government and affected mayors to discuss a pending appeal to the Constitutional Court.

Emiliano said he deplored the clashes, saying “the government has proved incapable of listening to Puglia”.

“Using the massive deployment of forces that was set up today, the government shows its incapacity to listen and politically process the requests of an entire region which has in its ruling programme, elaborated from the bottom and voted for by hundreds of thousands of Puglians, the transfer of the TAP link to another area”.

Emiliano said earlier this month that uprooting olive trees to make way for the TAP was “illegal”.

Voicing his support for farmers who clashed with police, Emiliano however added: “the regional government does not have instruments to stop a project that the government has told police to protect, an operation considered absolutely strategic”. Before he became Italian premier, then Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni said last year that “The creation of the Trans Adriatic Pipeline is strategic for the diversification of provision sources” not just for “the EU and the Balkans” but also “for Italy”.

Speaking in June at the foreign ministry in Rome during the fourth session of the inter-governmental commission on economic cooperation between Italy and Azerbaijan, Gentiloni said “after the inauguration of the project in Thessaloniki, about one month ago, a challenge has opened: seeing Azeri gas reach Italy by 2020” .

“Now we can look at new horizons”, he said. The objective, recalled Gentiloni, is to boost economic and political relations between Rome and Baku, considered a “strategic regional partner”.

The TAP consortium is made up of the following companies: BP (20%), SOCAR (20%), Snam (20%), Fluxys (19%), Enags (16%) and Axpo (5%). It is set to invest 5.6 billion euros in the gas pipeline in the next few years.

Relativity Just Passed a Major Test Involving the Most Accurate Clocks Ever

Science loves nothing better than to find new ways to kick well-tested theories even harder and see if they can’t be made to bleed a little.

UK: WhatsApp? What’s Up is the Great Multicultural Cover-up Because Our Government Would Rather Focus on Texting Than the Hard Questions About Khalid Masood Nobody Wants to Answer

In difficult times there are difficult questions that need to be asked.

After Khalid Masood smeared life over the tarmac on Westminster Bridge, butchered a policeman, and went running to look for more infidels to slaughter, the difficult questions are piling up fast.

Like what made him a butcher? Slashing a man in the face in 2000 stabbing a man in the nose in 2003 — serving time inside for his crime.

By making WhatsApp a sinister accomplice in Khalid Masood’s attack and answering easy questions about extremist material on google, Home Secretary Amber Rudd was avoiding difficult questions

And what happened in prison for him to go in as Adrian Ajou in 2003 and come out as Khalid Masood in 2005?

A school friend, Mark Ashdown, 52, has said that Ajou/Masood became a Muslim while in prison.

Yet Deputy Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu of the Metropolitan Police has said there was no evidence he was radicalised whilst inside.

Indeed the police have cheerfully told us we ‘may never know’ what made him a killer…

Caroline Glick: Israel’s Silenced Majority

During Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s meeting with US President Donald Trump at the White House in February, the premier was reportedly taken by surprise when Trump gently prodded — ahead of their meeting — for Israel to “hold back on settlements for a little bit.”

Since their meeting, Trump’s prod that Israel curtail the property rights of Jews in Judea and Samaria has been the central issue Trump’s chief negotiator Jason Greenblatt has discussed with Netanyahu and his representatives.

From the moment Netanyahu returned from Washington, his government ministers have been asking him to brief them on his discussions with Trump. He has refused. But on Thursday, Netanyahu finally agreed to update his security cabinet.

His agreement is long past due. It is vital for Netanyahu to tell his cabinet ministers what is happening in his conversations with the Americans about Judea and Samaria. It is imperative that the cabinet determine a clear response to Trump’s apparent demand for a full or partial freeze on Jewish property rights in Judea and Samaria.

Such an agreed response is urgent because Trump’s position is antithetical to the position of the vast majority of Israelis. If the government caters to Trump’s demands it will breach the trust of the public that elected it…

Hamas Develops Powerful New Rockets, Threatening Israeli Towns Near Gaza

The Palestinian terrorist group Hamas has acquired new, more powerful rockets that could severely threaten Israeli towns near the Gaza Strip, Army Radio reported Tuesday.

The rockets carry hundreds of kilograms of explosive material and have a short range of a few kilometers, similar to the range of mortar shells, according to an assessment by the Israeli military. While the Iron Dome anti-missile system can shoot down short-range projectiles, it is not as effective against mortar shells and rockets with more limited ranges.

Hamas is believed to have manufactured dozens of these rockets since its 2014 war against Israel.

Kuwait: ‘Alien’ MPs Hashem, Hayef Spar Over Perfume, Pantsuit

Fadhl’s immunity lifted, Harbash, Merdas spared

Tense discussions overshadowed the National Assembly’s regular session yesterday, leading speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanem to adjourn the meeting for today ahead of time. MP Safaa Al-Hashem, the only female member in the Assembly, clashed with Islamist opposition lawmaker Mohammad Hayef because he refused to allow her to sit next to him during a meeting of the committee fighting alien phenomena.

Hashem complained to the Assembly in a letter that Hayef, who heads the committee, refused to allow her to sit in her regular seat next to him. Hayef said that he cannot sit next to a woman wearing perfume and dressed like a man. The two traded strong words before the speaker ended the confrontation.

Several pro-government lawmakers also clashed with opposition MPs over a request to lift the immunity of two leading opposition MPs Jamaan Al-Harbash and Nayef Al-Merdas to be tried by court over charges of insulting HH the Amir. But a legal and legislative committee report recommended that the immunities should not be lifted and also requested that no debate was needed on the issue.

However, MPs Saadoun Hammad and Ahmad Al-Fadhl strongly objected to halting the debate and demanded that a full discussion should take place on the issue because it relates to the Amir. Following the debate, the Assembly voted in support of the committee’s decision. Harbash and Merdas were among dozens of opposition activists who repeated parts of a controversial speech by prominent opposition leader and former MP Musallam Al-Barrak, for which he was sentenced to two years in jail. A number of pro-government MPs openly charged that calculation of votes was tampered with and the actual result should have supported lifting the immunity of the two lawmakers…

India: Uttar Pradesh: Christian Graves Vandalized; (False) Accusations of Forced Conversions (Video)

Crosses taken down; tombstones smashed. State led by Hindu nationalist party. Growing violence against Christians in the region. The Hindu Yuva Vahini organization, founded by the Chief Minister, for the return of the Dalits to Hinduism.

Allahabad (AsiaNews) — Crosses taken down; tombstones smashed: at least ten Christian tombs were vandalized in the Rajapur Allahabad cemetery (Uttar Pradesh), as shown in a video published below and provided by the Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC). Its president, Sajan K George, told AsiaNews: “The violence against Christian tombs deeply hurt our religious feelings and show contempt for our ancestors. “This is done with the culture of impunity, and with intent to cause insecurity and fear in the minds of the minisucule Christian community. As can be seen, crosses have been broken, and epitaphs of nearly a dozen graves have been smashed”.

Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state in India, where the Hindu nationalist BJP party won an unprecedented victory in recent weeks. But the state is also known for a crescendo of violence against Christians.

On the same days the vandalism took place at the cemetery, the Hindu Yuva Vahini volunteers, an organization of the extreme right founded in 2002 by the current Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, began spreading accusations of forced conversions to Christianity of local Dalit communities.

Sajan K George calls the allegations “completely unfounded.”

Toma, the head of the Hindu Yuva Vahini for the area west of Uttar Pradesh said: “The Christian missionaries have lured our young people for decades. We must identify these people and persuade them to return to their religion of origin. “

The GCIC president said: “India is a democratic and secular nation, and we Christians are a tiny 2.3% of the population. The conversion accusations are baseless and false.”

Indonesian Girl Howls Through Circumcision as Debate Heats Up

GORONTALO: Indonesian toddler Salsa Djafar was wearing a glittering golden crown decorated with ribbons and a shiny purple dress to mark a special occasion-her circumcision day. At the celebrations attended by relatives, shrieks filled the modest, yellow-walled house in remote Gorontalo province as a traditional healer covered the 18-month-old girl with a white sheet and sliced skin off her genitals. The healer used a knife to remove a tiny piece of skin from the hood that covers the clitoris-which she said looked like a “garlic skin”-then stuck the knife into a lemon.

It marked the end of a procedure supposed to rid the child of sin and signal she was now officially a Muslim. “It’s hard to see her crying like this, but it is tradition,” her father Arjun Djafar, a 23-year-old labourer, said at last month’s ceremony. Female circumcision-also known as female genital mutilation or FGM-has been practiced for generations across Indonesia, which is the world’s biggest Muslim-majority country, and is considered a rite of passage by many.

The United Nations condemns the practice and the government once sought to ban it, but opposition from religious authorities and its widespread acceptance mean FGM has been impossible to stamp out. Nowhere is it more common than Gorontalo, a deeply conservative area on the central island of Sulawesi, where the procedure is typically accompanied by elaborate rituals and celebrations. A government survey estimated over 80 percent of girls aged 11 and under in Gorontalo had been circumcised, compared to about 50 percent of girls in the same category nationwide.

An attack on over 20 Polish banks near the end of 2016 was evidently thwarted without any money being lost. When security analysts pulled apart the virus software sent to these banks, they discovered a huge list of Internet addresses for other financial institutions, making up the target list described by Symantec.

The New Racism

Is there some group of people whose liquidation you’d tolerate? Perhaps some race, religion or creed that deserves punishment, even extermination? What if I told you that such a group exists and you have been taught to silently condone their destruction?

Well, there is a group whose persecution you are indoctrinated to tolerate. Atrocities against this group are not to be mentioned in polite company. Murders and rapes against this group are not worthy of detailed TV news reports.

I am talking about persecution against African whites. Yes, they are Africans — born and bred in Africa. Yes, they are white. And yes, there is a campaign to eradicate their culture, drive them from their land, even murder them.

But you won’t hear about it on the evening news. You won’t hear the full story because our media and our culture is racist. You see, white people are guilty of being white. And everything white, European and Christian is bad.

Or haven’t you heard?

White people are the devil’s spawn, the source of all evil in the world, the center-point of suffering, exploitation and war. According to the latest racist formulas, if you reduce the whites and eliminate the influence of “dead white males” from universities, you will liberate mankind from the great oppressor. Then there will be paradise on earth.

So the campaign against whites, which began many years ago, has advanced through country after country. Perhaps you missed hearing about the anti-white atrocities in Angola. Perhaps the history of Mozambique is unfamiliar to you. Recently, a 4-year-old white farm girl was reported raped and mutilated in South Africa. Did you hear about it?

There is no reason to get upset, says the new racism.

White people have it coming. That’s right, go back to shopping.

The planetary race war aimed at the reduction of one race, above all others, is perfectly justifiable. Europe’s past sins help set the stage. The anti-whites, armed with the propaganda of white guilt, are now given a license to kill and rape thousands of innocent people.

[Comment: The demonization of whites in S. Africa has now spread through the communist network and is now broadcast openly in the USA. Globalists want a race war so the public do not realize the globalists are the real enemy of the USA. The last thing globalists want is for blacks and whites to work together to abolish the coming globalist NWO.]

The murder of a respected journalist in the Mexican state of Chihuahua appears to be driven by her work exposing the close ties between government officials and the Juarez Cartel. One of those investigations pointed to the mother-in-law of a cartel boss trying to run for mayor, while others looked into how the former governor of that state protected certain criminal organizations.

Over the weekend, journalists held protests in Mexico City, Torreón, and Monterrey; calling for a stop to the impunity that surrounds the murder of their colleagues. The protests come after cartel gunmen shot Miroslava Breach moments after she dropped her children off at school. As Breitbart Texas reported, the gunmen left a poster board signed by a Juarez Cartel boss that said Breach had been murdered for being a “Lenguona” or loudmouth.

‘Corrective Action’ Sought After Dems Offered Voter Registration Forms to Refugees

A state lawmaker is demanding “corrective action” after the Nebraska Democratic Party admittedly planted voter registration forms in gift baskets intended for newly-arrived refugees. Nebraska State Senator John Murante (R-Gretna) publicly asked in a letter Monday that Democrat Party Chairwoman Jane Kleeb disclose the names of any refugees who received voter registration forms tucked into welcoming baskets. The Chairman of the Government, Military and Veterans Affairs Committee urged that Kleeb acts quickly to inform local election officials in affected counties since primary elections are scheduled in Lincoln and Omaha on April 4.

Durante notes in his letter that failure to assist local officials could risk illegal voter registrations, “diluting the voting power of legal voters”. Worse, he notes, some refugees could mistake the offer of voter registration to mean they are indeed eligible to vote, potentially complicating a pathway to naturalization, should they choose to do so. Durante was silent, however, on whether he believes the Democrats did anything illegal.

Geert Wilders for Breitbart: Patriot Spring in Full Bloom — Dutch Have Enough of Open Door Policies

The tulip fields around Keukenhof, south of Amsterdam, are one of Holland’s most famous tourist attractions. Especially in this time of the year. Winter is over and has finally given way to Spring. From the sky, air travellers can watch a rich tapestry of colours reaching almost to Schiphol Airport.

The freshness of Spring can be noticed not just in the tulip fields, but also in the corridors of Dutch politics. There, since March 15, the day of our general elections, the Patriot Spring is in full bloom.

Of the 28 parties participating in the Dutch general elections, 13 were able to gain seats in Parliament. My party, the Party for Freedom (PVV), did extremely well. We grew from 15 to 20 seats, becoming the second biggest party in the land. A truly historic achievement.

Equally significant is the fact that the parties favouring open door policies towards immigrants and asylum seekers lost the majority which they previously held.

Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s government coalition of his own Liberal Party (VVD) and the Labour Party lost almost half of its seats. Labour was decimated, while Mr. Rutte’s Liberal Party fell from 41 to 33 seats.

He only managed to avoid an electoral disaster for the VVD by acting tough against Turkey’s Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the final days prior the elections.

Indeed, five days before the elections, he expelled a member of the Erdogan cabinet from the Netherlands because she intended to campaign among Turkish immigrants in our country for the upcoming Turkish referendum. Doing so, Mr. Rutte secured the support of many of his conservative voters, who might otherwise have defected…

Hungary Refuses to Take 5,000 Migrants From Sweden

Hungary has refused a request by the Swedish government to take in 5,000 asylum seekers, and the Swedes want to take the matter to court.

The Hungarian government has long held a position against the redistribution of migrants from other European countries going as far as holding a referendum on the subject last October. But Sweden is insisting that under European Union (EU) Dublin agreement rules, the migrants should be returned to the Central European country where they first registered, Svenska Dagbladet reports.

Swedish Immigration and Justice Minister Morgan Johansson met with EU migration and asylum Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos in Brussels Monday to discuss the issue. After the meeting, Mr. Johansson said: “It is the Commission’s responsibility to ensure that contracts are kept, and this is our opinion that Hungary did not follow the Dublin rules.”

“We have almost 5,000 cases where people are registered as asylum seekers in Hungary, but Hungary does not receive them when we send them back,” he added, claiming the EU Commission had a “duty” to open a case against Hungary for infringement of the Dublin agreement.

[Comment: Hungary should hold firm. What will Sweden do even if kangaroo court rules in their favour? Invade Hungary? Laws and agreements designed to aid in deconstruction of a nation should be repudiated and ignored by nations that wish to survive the globalist plan of population replacement.]

One Million More Migrants to Come to Europe as ‘EU Action Too Little Too Late’

MORE than one million migrants are “in the pipeline” in Libya and hoping to reach European shores because the European Union has not done enough to tackle the crisis, a senior diplomat has said.

Joseph Walker-Cousins, former head of the British Embassy in Benghazi, accused the EU of doing “too little, too late” in regards to the migrant crisis.

Giving evidence at the House of Lords’ EU External Affairs Sub-Committee, the diplomat said the officials should have been patrolling Libya’s land borders 1,400km to the south.

Praising Merkel’s Approach, UN Demands Europe Punish ‘Delinquent’ Poland, Hungary for Refusing Migrants

Calling for harsh sanctions on European Union (EU) nations refusing to welcome migrants, UN Human Rights Council Advisor Jean Ziegler said Germany’s open borders response to the crisis set a ‘great example’.

Ziegler, who sits on the UN Human Rights Council’s Advisory Committee, argued that EU countries with restrictive policies on migrants are “violently trampling on refugees’ human rights”, Der Tagesspiegel reports.

He called on the European Commission to suspend payments to countries trying to minimise the migrant influx, highlighting Hungary, Poland, Bulgaria, and Slovakia as “delinquents”.

“If the EU were to suspend the solidarity payments to the Eastern European countries for 14 days the barbed wire fences, the prisons, and the terrible camps would be gone,” he told the German newspaper.

The UN advisor pointed to Chancellor Merkel as the leader he believes to have done and said the right things in response to a tidal wave of migrants heading for Europe.

“Germany has been exemplary on refugee issues”, he said, referring to the nation’s acceptance of and massive public spending on well over a million asylum seekers — two-thirds of whom are estimated to be illiterate.

Sessions to Strip Billions From Sanctuary Cities

Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced he is cracking down on sanctuary cities; cutting billions of dollars in law enforcement grants.

The Department of Justice will hand out $4 billion in federal law enforcement grants over the balance of this fiscal year which ends in September. Sessions told reporters at the White House he will be working to prevent any of it from going to sanctuary jurisdictions, The Washington Times reported.

“Countless Americans would be alive today … if these policies of sanctuary cities were ended,” General Sessions told reporters. The AG stated he is using a tactic that began under AG Loretta Lynch.

[Comment: Good start. Next he should start prosecuting government officials that obstruct the law.]

In that order, Trump wrote that (among other things) it is the policy of the United States to ensure the faithful execution of its immigration laws, and that “jurisdictions that fail to comply with applicable Federal law do not receive Federal funds, except as mandated by law.”

Some Migrants ‘May be Shopping Around for the Best Cash Deal to be Sent Home’, EU Warns

Tens of thousands of migrants are told to leave EU nation each year with a number being paid cash incentives and benefits to return to their home countries in so-called voluntary return schemes, according to figures from the European Commission,

But the value of the payouts varies between EU nations — leading Brussels bosses to believe migrants will pursue the country with the biggest cash incentives.

Last year the Home Office confirmed migrants trying to enter the UK were being offered £2,000 each to leave as well as a flight home paid at the expense of by British taxpayers.

Strasbourg Condemns Russia for Treatment of Asylum Seekers

Court says detention in Moscow airport illegal and inhuman

(ANSAMed) — STRASBOURG, 28 MAR — The European Court of Human Rights has condemned Russia for the ill treatment inflicted to 4 asylum seekers coming from Iraq, the Palestinian territories, Somalia and Syria. The Strasbourg judges have defined their detention in the transit area of Moscow’s airport that in one case lasted almost 2 years, illegal, inhuman and degrading. The 4 men, travelling independently from each other, landed in Moscow in 2015 and the authorities, having denied them entry into the country due to irregularities with their documents, closed them up in the transit zone of Sheremetyevo airport. In the judgement the Court says Russia has inflicted them an inhuman and degrading treatment having detained them for “extended periods of time in unacceptable conditions” since the men had to sleep on a mattress in the constantly-lit and noisy boarding area of the airport, with no possibility to shower, and live on emergency rations provided by the Unhcr. The judges have also condemned Russia for illegal detention since the country does not have a law regulating the question. Russia has to pay the 4 men a total of 81 thousand euro in respect of pecuniary damage.

Underage Runaway Migrants in Germany Forced Into Prostitution and Drug Peddling

Underage migrants who run way from asylum homes are finding themselves reduced to selling drugs or becoming child prostitutes for as little as €10 in the German capital of Berlin.

Two investigative journalists have uncovered that many of the estimated 9,000 underage migrants may have been seduced by radical Islamists, or end up on the streets selling their bodies or drugs, Die Welt reports.

We Can’t Restore Our Civilization With Somebody Else’s Babies

This past week, Iowa U.S. House member Steve King addressed the ramifications of endless immigration into America, “Culture and demographics are our destiny. We can’t restore our civilization with somebody else’s babies.”

While the mainstream media maligned his words by calling him a bunch of names, historically, he hit the nail on the head. If America’s future renders itself loaded with third world immigrants now streaming into this country by the millions annually-it will become everybody else’s country. Not to mention that our civilization will not be sustainable within 30 years at current immigration rates!

According to the PEW Research Center, Hispanic-Latino-Mexican Americans, at current immigration rates and birth rates, will become the new majority by 2042. That’s 25 years from now. In contrast, European-Americans, in 1965 dominated with 90 percent of the population. That means the fabric of America derived from over 240 years of culture, language and ethos.

Enter the 1965 Immigration Reform Act that began importing one million immigrants annually for the past 52 years. Along with their birthrates, they added 100,000,000 more people to the USA from 194,000,000 in 1956 to 300,000,000 by 2006-and headed for 438 million by 2050.

UN Rights Panel Urges Italy to Ensure Abortion

‘Concern’ at conscientious objectors, back-street abortions

(ANSA) — Rome, March 28 — The United Nations Human Rights Committee on Tuesday called on Italy to ensure abortion services, saying it was “concerned for the difficulty of access to legal abortions because of the number of doctors who refuse to practise terminations because of reasons of conscience”. The panel voiced concern over the widespread presence of conscientious objectors across the country and therefore “the significant number of back-street abortions”. It said “the State should adopt necessary measures to guarantee the free and timely access to legal abortion services”. Women’s rights group regularly complain over the difficulty of abortion access in Italy due to the high proportion of doctors who object to performing abortions because if goes against their Christian consciences.

Communism: The Dead-End Path

[…] Communism has proved to be a grand deception, a con job in human history.

The theory is bad, and every implementation of the theory has been destructive to life and morality, starting with the Paris Commune, gathering speed with the Soviet Union, and continuing today in China.

After more than 140 years of communism in practice, we can certainly judge communism by its fruits, rather than by what it claimed it would do.

No rational human being would follow such a path.

  1. Prof. Cleveland, of the USA, is on the UN barbaric committee that wants Italy to increase murdering the unborn. Where do we grow these sketchballs? Italia must remain true to Western civilization in the face of these barbarous internationalists.

  2. On Soros complaining that the Hungarian Prime Minister may close down his (Soros) University that is now seen as a subversive establishment and that the Prime Minister, apparently and in years past, received his ‘higher education’ from.

I’d call that karma and justice where it is most needed. Suck it up Georgie boy!

    • I would call it ABSOLUTE Karma if someone kidnapped GS and handed him over to the Russians who I believe still have a live arrest
Warrant with his name on it.

Just think of the problems this would solve overnight.

      • I’ve ‘hunted’ around for reference to that Russian Arrest Warrant for one George Soros but cannot find any evidence of such a warrant.

Do you have a reliable source?

        • As far as I know, that story is a hoax. Disinformation, possibly Russian in origin — who knows?

  3. On the pulling from the floor of the House of Reps of ‘Obamacare’ alterations before that vote could be put forward. I believe that Trump has the upper hand here in that Speaker Ryan has now exposed himself through the uttering, ‘Obamacare is now the law of the land’, and such hubris has now cemented his political agenda for all who wish to notice.

I would now wager that Ryan will no longer be the Speaker of the House come the end of this year and that, ‘Obamacare’ will be finally repealed.

  4. “Three brothers, aged 20, 21 and 25, were charged with rape of two 13-year-old girls in Haugesund. The brothers are all Syrian nationals and came to Norway as refugees. The 25-year-old is also married in Syria, and has three young children under four years old, writes the regional newspaper Hnytt. All three men have now been sentenced by Haugaland District Court to four years and three months in prison, for rape of children under 14 years. Additionally all three brothers were sentenced to pay damages of NOK 100,000 ($11,700) each to one girl. The reason for this is that the court sees a significant risk that she may suffer from PTSD because of the abuse. She was, according to the verdict, exposed to three intercourses in a row. Prosecutor and Prosecutor Marte Benedicte Engesli Lysaker, said the verdict is in line with the public prosecutor’s demand. Largely the prosecution’s view of the matter has been followed, and that we believe is right, she says to Hnytt.”

As I read this report I became angry, and am still angry. In the first place, it was (alone and in itself) disgusting and degrading behaviour for these three men to have exposed themselves in the way they presumably did, to other men, and-arguably-even worse to have done this as brothers.

Second, the prison terms are unduly lenient.

Thirdly (a question), are all these men in well-paid, regular jobs and thus able to pay the sums of money mentioned?

Fourth, there is no mention of deportation. Will they thus be allowed to stay in Norway after they come out of jail (after reduced time for ‘good behavior’?)?

These men are NOT GOOD FOR NORWAY. That’s the first, the key, the crucial question. IS IT GOOD FOR OUR COUNTRIES FOR PEOPLE LIKE THIS TO BE HERE?
The answer (I’ll limit myself to this particular case) CANNOT be “yes”. THEREFORE SEND THEM SOMEWHERE ELSE, NAMELY TO SYRIA. If they are hit by a bomb there, so be it. They should have thought ahead a little more.

Am I wrong to see things this way? People who come to our countries, who are taken in, who are fed and accommodated, given medical care, given spending money, must behave properly. If not, YOU’RE OUT, back to where you came from. YOU sort out your “human rights”/human rights etc. when you get there.

Our countries are mad. Or am I wrong or unreasonable? Our governments are throwing in my face the values I believe in. But what can I DO?

    • There will come a time when those who willingly do this to you and your countrymen – while they also undermine the binding culture that is fundamental to all nations who wish to remain nations – will have their roles taken from them and their actions put to them in either a court of law or a public square, and for the carrying out of a determined punishment as required for taking part in those actions.

Remember too, it is the actions of those that are against you that must be recorded, and while you are yet unable at this time to effectively deter those actions you know to be culturally damaging to your country and are in nature treacherous by legal definition, you will have revenge, and that revenge will be a dish that is best served cold.

  5. This seems to be an entirely justifiable use of lethal force. Also justifies having a semi-automatic at home

I hope that the young man does not suffer any adverse legal consequences.

We have had attempted burglaries, once when I was bed bound due to illness and alone at home when two men attempted entry, I was terrified, but being in the UK all I could do was phone the police.

    • I hope that young man is mentally stable enough to ride out the mental anguish that he will be going through right now from the realization of having killed three other young men.

      • What makes you think he will have “Mental Anguish”? In the United States there is the concept from the Frontier Experience that sometimes People needed Killing. Those that obliged them slept very well.
