Cash No Longer King: Europe Moves to Begin Elimination of Paper Money
In the shadow of Donald Trump’s spree of controversial actions, the European commission has quietly launched the next offensive in the war on cash. These unelected bureaucrats have boldly asserted their intention to crack down on paper transactions across the E.U. and solidify a trend that has been gaining momentum for years.
The financial uncertainty amplified by Brexit has incentivized governments throughout Europe to seize further control over their banking systems. France and Spain have already criminalized cash transactions above a certain limit, but now the commission has unilaterally established new regulations that will affect the entire union. The fear of physical money flowing out of the trade bloc has manifested a draconian response from the State.
The European Action Plan doesn’t mention a specific dollar amount for restrictions, but as expected, their reasoning for the move is to thwart money laundering and the financing of terrorism. Border checks between countries have already been bolstered to help implement these new standards on hard assets. Although these end goals are plausible, there are other clear motivations for governments to target paper money that aren’t as noble.
Negative interest rates and high inflation are a deadly combination that could further destabilize the already fragile union in the future. With less physical currency circulating, these trends ensure that the impact of any additional central bank policies will be maximized. If economic conditions deteriorate, the threat of citizens pulling cash out of their accounts and starting a bank run is eliminated in a cashless system. So long as the people’s wealth is under centralized control, funds can be shifted at will to conceal any underlying problems. But the longer this shell game is allowed to persist, the more painful it will be when reality overrides the manipulation.
Since former Chief Economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Kenneth Rogoff, published a paper last year advocating for the U.S. $100 bill to be removed, governments around the world have pushed forward their agendas towards a cashless society.

Foreign Governments Dump US Treasuries as Never Before, But Who the Heck is Buying Them?
It started with a whimper a couple of years ago and has turned into a roar: foreign governments are dumping US Treasuries. The signs are coming from all sides. The data from the US Treasury Department points at it. The People’s Bank of China points at it in its data releases on its foreign exchange reserves. Japan too has started selling Treasuries, as have other governments and central banks.
Some, like China and Saudi Arabia, are unloading their foreign exchange reserves to counteract capital flight, prop up their own currencies, or defend a currency peg.
Others might sell US Treasuries because QE is over and yields are rising as the Fed has embarked on ending its eight years of zero-interest-rate policy with what looks like years of wild flip-flopping, while some of the Fed heads are talking out loud about unwinding QE and shedding some of the Treasuries on its balance sheet.

Rand Paul to Tucker Carlson: Let’s Audit the Fed
After a Democrat filibuster of Rand Paul’s “Audit the Fed” bill — reintroduced in January along with 8 co-sponsors and passed by 53 Senators including Bernie Sanders, the Senator from Kentucky believes he may find a friend in President Trump, who has previously endorsed the idea. Opponents to the audit, also known as establishment shills, suggest that transparency might lead to scrutiny. You don’t say? On Tucker Carlson Tonight, Paul explained how the Fed hurts people:
The reason I want oversight is people get hurt in the downturn,” Paul said. “So in 2008, when the housing market went bust, I blamed that on the Federal Reserve. We’re right in the middle of another boom. Anybody seen the stock market lately? It is a boom, just like the real estate boom of 2008, and it will come to an end. I wish I knew exactly when, so I could give your viewers some investment advice, but it will end. There will be a correction.” — -RealClearPolitics
Given the Trump’s rollback of Dodd-Frank, which included provisions to audit dark money emergency lending facilities (yet harmed small businesses and community banks) — Auditing the Fed is perhaps more important than ever.

Caroline Glick: A Beautiful Friendship
Less than a week after he was inaugurated into office, President Donald Trump announced that he had repaired the US’s fractured ties with Israel. “It got repaired as soon as I took the oath of office,” he said.
Not only does Israel now enjoy warm relations with the White House. When Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrives in the US capital next week, he will be greeted by the most supportive political climate Israel has ever seen in Washington.
It is true that dangers to Israel’s ties with America lurk in the background. The radical Left is taking control of the Democratic Party.
But the forces now hijacking the party on a whole host of issues have yet to transform their hatred of Israel into the position of most Democratic lawmakers in Congress.
Democrats in both houses of Congress joined with their Republican counterparts in condemning UN Security Council Resolution 2334 that criminalized Israel. A significant number of Democratic lawmakers support Trump’s decision to slap new sanctions on Iran.
Similarly, radical Jewish groups have been unsuccessful in rallying the more moderate leftist Jewish leadership to their cause. Case in point is the widespread support Trump’s appointment of David Friedman to serve as his ambassador to Israel is receiving from the community.
Whereas J Street and T’ruah are circulating a petition calling for people to oppose his Senate confirmation, sources close to the issue in Washington say that AIPAC supports it…

From Russia With Love: Did Putin Put Trump in the White House?
Hillary Clinton and many in the media accused Russia of interfering in the 2016 election in order to get Donald Trump in the White House. What really happened?
Both leading up to and following what has been easily the most contentious election in recent history, Donald Trump’s enemies in politics, the intelligence community, and the liberal mainstream media have claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin directed a campaign to interfere with the election. His goal? To assure the defeat of Hillary Clinton and the victory of Trump. His reason? As Clinton expressed it in the third and final debate with Trump in October: “Well, that’s because he’d rather have a puppet as president of the United States.”
The primary tactic employed the political establishment of both major parties, the intelligence community, and the liberal media to trash Trump was one of misdirection. By focusing the attention of the American people on speculative allegations about Trump’s connections to and control by the Russian government, his enemies attempted — by sleight-of-hand — to take the attention away from the illegal and immoral conduct that the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Clinton campaign had been shown to have done, though that’s where the focus should have been.

GOP Bill to Fracture ‘Nutty’ 9th Circuit Court
(The Blaze) As the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has just struck down Trump’s executive order on the travel ban, Republicans are simultaneously moving to pass a bill that will split the court up.
According to Fox News, Arizona Senators Jeff Flake and John McCain have introduced legislation that will take six states out of the court, and create a whole new 12th Circuit. According to Flake, the court is overburdened, bloated, and slow.
“It represents 20 percent of the population — and 40 percent of the land mass is in that jurisdiction. It’s just too big,” Flake told Fox News on Wednesday. “We have a bedrock principle of swift justice and if you live in Arizona or anywhere in the 9th Circuit, you just don’t have it.”

Judicial Tyranny: Black Robed Tyrants Usurp Executive Law
As Senator John Warner stated, protecting our borders is at the heart of sovereignty, and Democrat Judge James Robart’s actions are no laughing matter. He has put the kibosh on Trump’s executive order to check refugees coming in from seven different terrorist-promoting Islamic nations to make sure they do not wish to do harm to American citizens. Why would any sane person want to stop the President from protecting us? As my retired attorney friend, Joe, said to me, “That’s really it Kelleigh, they’re insane.”
What really blows my mind is the fact that not one Federal Judge in America tried to stop even one of Obama’s unconstitutional Executive Orders, but President Trump’s EO to protect America is stopped by a leftist Democrat judge. God help us! But then, in reality, they have no right to do so. This belongs to the executive branch alone.
Robart’s Nomination
On December 9, 2003, Robart was nominated by President George W. Bush to a seat on the United States District Court for the Western District of Washington. Robart was unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate on June 17, 2004. George W. Bush also nominated Gorsuch to federal court and he too was confirmed unanimously. The Senate, knowing Bush was left of center, and really pro-choice, easily confirmed this democratic lawyer to the high court, just as they confirmed Neil Gorsuch in 2006.
Robart’s Ruling
This Democratic Liberal Judge is a full-fledged socialist. His ruling didn’t consider any opinions on the law. He believed, without legal authority, that the president wasn’t making a smart move, and he stayed it. This decision on the immigrant ban from terrorist promoting countries went to the Ninth Circuit court, the most liberal court in the nation and of course, they stayed it. Protecting America from Islamic terrorists was one of Trump’s promises, and who is delaying our safety? None other than the Democratic Socialists…again! This time of the judiciary!
But hey, Judge Robart has even praised the Black Lives Matter anarchists in a lawsuit against Seattle police!

Leaked Docs Expose Media Matters Conspiring With Facebook & Google to Censor Alternative Media
Washington, D.C. — A recently leaked briefing document from political operator David Brock’s ultra-liberal, self-proclaimed media watchdog, Media Matters, has exposed the hard-left activist group conspiring with Facebook and Google to create a strategy to marginalize and ban political thought outside of the progressive neoliberal paradigm — essentially censoring libertarian and conservative political speech.
For those uninitiated, Brock is the key cog in the hard-left neo-liberal political media attack machine that attempts to propagandize the public into accepting a progressive political narrative as fact. Essentially, Brock acts as the tip of the spear in the left’s culture war — forwarding a divide and conquer paradigm based largely on identity politics.
To give some perspective into this strategy one need only look back to the teachings of ancient Chinese military strategist Sun Tzu and his seminal treatise, The Art of War. He proposed that indirect warfare is one of the most efficient ways of fighting an enemy. It allows an opponent to defeat their adversary without directly engaging them, thereby saving themselves the resources that would have to be expended in a direct confrontation.
This dynamic of indirect warfare is clearly at work, as the hallmarks of an information war are unmistakable in Media Matters methodology and approach described in the leaked document.
The employment of hybrid warfare will unmistakably be marked by “protests,” as we have already seen in the form of “The Women’s March,” and insurgents, such as the Anitfas presence at the UC-Berkley riots. Fifth columns, such as Media Matters, will be formed by non-state actors, like Brock, which publicly behave as civilian organizations, but operate with vested political motives and strategic militant-like precision. Social media and similar technologies will come to replace precision-guided munitions as the “surgical strike” capability of the aggressive party, and chat rooms and Facebook pages will become the new “militants’ den.”
Besides the tactical advantages of this hybrid warfare, there are also strategic ones as well. In this case, indirect warfare, in the form of information warfare, is clearly being employed in an effort to destabilize any messages that are outside of the neoliberal globalist paradigm.

Report: ‘Bias Response Teams’ Creeping Onto University Campuses Threaten Free Speech
So-called “Bias Response Teams” are creeping onto university campuses across the country. This was the conclusion of the first national survey of Bias Response Teams done by the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE).
The report identified 232 public and private American colleges and universities that had bias response teams on their campuses in 2016, affecting around 2.8 million students.
BRTs encourage students to formally report on other students and faculty members whenever they perceive that someone’s speech is “biased,” which threatens free speech.
Most universities receive a variety of complaints from students, including students who encounter “offensive” yet legally protected speech, but rather than responding to these incidents fairly if there’s an actual threat, campuses with Bias Response Teams conduct an investigation and if the “respondent” is found “guilty”, invite them for a “hearing”.
Examples of Bias Response Teams exercising their power include a student humor publication at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) that lost its funding after making fun of “safe spaces” on campus. They got their funding pulled after people filed bias incident reports, one openly calling the university to “stop funding”.

Texas Woman Sentenced to 8 Years in Prison for Voter Fraud
(KXAS) A Grand Prairie woman who was found guilty on two counts of illegal voting has been sentenced to eight years in prison along with a $5,000 fine on Thursday.
Rosa Maria Ortega was arrested in 2015. She is a legal U.S. resident, but is not a citizen and therefore, not qualified to vote.
“This case shows how serious Texas is about keeping its elections secure, and the outcome sends a message that violators of the state’s election law will be prosecuted to the fullest,” Attorney General Ken Paxton said in a statement. “Safeguarding the integrity of our elections is essential to preserving our democracy.”
A Tarrant County jury deliberated for about two hours before returning the guilty verdict Wednesday. Ortega was sentenced on Thursday.

What Vizio Was Doing Behind the TV Screen
Consumers have bought more than 11 million internet-connected Vizio televisions since 2010. But according to a complaint filed by the FTC and the New Jersey Attorney General, consumers didn’t know that while they were watching their TVs, Vizio was watching them. The lawsuit challenges the company’s tracking practices and offers insights into how established consumer protection principles apply to smart technology.
Starting in 2014, Vizio made TVs that automatically tracked what consumers were watching and transmitted that data back to its servers. Vizio even retrofitted older models by installing its tracking software remotely. All of this, the FTC and AG allege, was done without clearly telling consumers or getting their consent.
What did Vizio know about what was going on in the privacy of consumers’ homes? On a second-by-second basis, Vizio collected a selection of pixels on the screen that it matched to a database of TV, movie, and commercial content. What’s more, Vizio identified viewing data from cable or broadband service providers, set-top boxes, streaming devices, DVD players, and over-the-air broadcasts. Add it all up and Vizio captured as many as 100 billion data points each day from millions of TVs.
Vizio then turned that mountain of data into cash by selling consumers’ viewing histories to advertisers and others. And let’s be clear: We’re not talking about summary information about national viewing trends. According to the complaint, Vizio got personal. The company provided consumers’ IP addresses to data aggregators, who then matched the address with an individual consumer or household. Vizio’s contracts with third parties prohibited the re-identification of consumers and households by name, but allowed a host of other personal details — for example, sex, age, income, marital status, household size, education, and home ownership. And Vizio permitted these companies to track and target its consumers across devices.
That’s what Vizio was up to behind the screen, but what was the company telling consumers? Not much, according to the complaint.

Canada’s Green Electricity Bailouts Make the Bombardier Giveaway Look Like Peanuts
While the punditocracy whipped itself into a justifiable if ritual lather over another Ottawa bailout of Bombardier, the $372-million loan is small change compared with the multi-billion-dollar green electric power fiascos across the country.
A rough tally of the ballooning financial plight of the electricity sectors in British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Newfoundland quickly runs to more than $50 billion in new debt and imbedded costs for investments that threaten to be money-losing drags on growth and consumers — and the federal government — -for years to come.

Canada Under Pressure to Ban George Soros From Country
Citizens in Canada are demanding that the government ban George Soros and his Open Society Foundation from the country.
Amid a general anti-globalist mood, people across the globe are rising up and rejecting the left-wing billionaire’s plans to impose to a globalist agenda across the world, as Soros has been repeatedly exposed as funding homegrown terrorist groups hell-bent on wreaking havoc and destruction on his behalf.
Newstarget.com reports:
It’s unknown if Soros was in any way involved in encouraging the protests that turned violent against conservative journalist Milo Yiannopoulos at the University of California at Berkeley, but it isn’t out of the realm of possibility since he has been known to do such things in the past.
As an aside, you have to wonder why those affiliated with the Soros effort would be obsessed with destabilizing a country or countries in which they too have to live.
Recently, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Soros described President Trump as a “would-be dictator who is going to fail.”
Soros is allegedly bankrolling some of the anti-Trump protests around the country as well as funding legal challenges to the Trump executive order that imposes a temporary travel ban on seven Middle Eastern nations that were identified by the Obama administration as countries of concern…
Because of his actions in the United States, as well as similar attempts in Hungary the country is now cracking down on Soros-operated non-governmental organizations. Soros was born in Budapest in 1930, and the Open Society Foundation reportedly operates 50 different NGOs in Hungary. All of these organizations are similar to those that Soros funds in the US, and are all an attempt at spreading his globalist agenda in the country.
Writing for a Canadian website PhilosophyofMetrics, JC Collins suggested, in part, that Canada should do the same.
“The attempts to remove American sovereignty have been halted by the election of Donald Trump which is why Soros is now funding the protests against the Trump administration…It is time for Canada to take action now against George Soros and his Open Society Foundation. Our liberal-left socialist government is aligned with both Soros and the mandates of the United Nations…Even our non-liberal political parties, such as the Progressive Conservatives, both federal and provincial, promote the mandates and propaganda of the Open Society Foundation…If our major political parties will not serve the people of Canada and protect our way of life from the liberal international agenda funded by George Soros then it is time for Canadians, like others around the world, to begin the process of taking back our political systems and removing this insidious disease from our countries and cultures. “

Terrorist to Have Canadian Citizenship Restored
(National Post) The leader of an al-Qaida-inspired plot to explode truck bombs in downtown Toronto during the morning rush hour will have his Canadian citizenship reinstated under legislation introduced by the Liberals on Thursday.
The proposed law tabled in the House of Commons, Bill C-6, contains a provision that would restore the citizenship of any convicted terrorists who lost it as a result of changes brought in by the previous Conservative government.
Effectively, the bill means the Liberals will be returning citizenship to Zakaria Amara, ringleader of the Toronto 18 terror group, which planned al-Qaida-style violence in southern Ontario to push Canada to abandon Afghanistan.

What a Donald Trump Presidency Means for Canada
There is a lot of talk about what a Donald Trump presidency could mean for America and Mexico, but one question that is not addressed as heavily is how it is going to affect America’ s other neighbor, Canada. Trump had talked about building a wall along the Canadian border, and while that statement has gone on to become a Twitter joke, the truth is that there is a very real threat of terrorists crossing on either end.

Beppe Grillo Says He Will Lead Italian Five Star Movement to Victory
THE ITALIAN comedian and leader of the Eurosceptic Italian Five Star Movement has insisted his party will be victorious at the country’s next general election.

The interview comes as part of a documentary looking into the rise of “populist” candidates in elections across Europe.

Former Soviet Dissident Warns for EU Dictatorship
If you go through all the structures and features of this emerging European monster you will notice that it more and more resembles the Soviet Union. Of course, it is a milder version of the Soviet Union. Please, do not misunderstand me. I am not saying that it has a Gulag. It has no KGB — not yet — but I am very carefully watching such structures as Europol for example. That really worries me a lot because this organisation will probably have powers bigger than those of the KGB. They will have diplomatic immunity. Can you imagine a KGB with diplomatic immunity? They will have to police us on 32 kinds of crimes — two of which are particularly worrying, one is called racism, another is called xenophobia. No criminal court on earth defines anything like this as a crime [this is not entirely true, as Belgium already does so — pb]. So it is a new crime, and we have already been warned. Someone from the British government told us that those who object to uncontrolled immigration from the Third World will be regarded as racist and those who oppose further European integration will be regarded as xenophobes. I think Patricia Hewitt said this publicly.
Hence, we have now been warned. Meanwhile they are introducing more and more ideology. The Soviet Union used to be a state run by ideology. Today’s ideology of the European Union is social-democratic, statist, and a big part of it is also political correctness. I watch very carefully how political correctness spreads and becomes an oppressive ideology, not to mention the fact that they forbid smoking almost everywhere now. Look at this persecution of people like the Swedish pastor who was persecuted for several months because he said that the Bible does not approve homosexuality. France passed the same law of hate speech concerning gays. Britain is passing hate speech laws concerning race relations and now religious speech, and so on and so forth. What you observe, taken into perspective, is a systematic introduction of ideology which could later be enforced with oppressive measures. Apparently that is the whole purpose of Europol. Otherwise why do we need it? To me Europol looks very suspicious. I watch very carefully who is persecuted for what and what is happening, because that is one field in which I am an expert. I know how Gulags spring up.
It looks like we are living in a period of rapid, systematic and very consistent dismantlement of democracy. Look at this Legislative and Regulatory Reform Bill. It makes ministers into legislators who can introduce new laws without bothering to tell Parliament or anyone. My immediate reaction is why do we need it? Britain survived two world wars, the war with Napoleon, the Spanish Armada, not to mention the Cold War, when we were told at any moment we might have a nuclear world war, without any need for introducing this kind legislation, without the need for suspending our civil liberaties and introducing emergency powers. Why do we need it right now? This can make a dictatorship out of your country in no time.
Today’s situation is really grim. Major political parties have been completely taken in by the new EU project. None of them really opposes it. They have become very corrupt. Who is going to defend our freedoms? It looks like we are heading towards some kind of collapse, some kind of crisis. The most likely outcome is that there will be an economic collapse in Europe, which in due time is bound to happen with this growth of expenses and taxes. The inability to create a competitive environment, the overregulation of the economy, the bureaucratisation, it is going to lead to economic collapse. Particularly the introduction of the euro was a crazy idea. Currency is not supposed to be political.

Paris to Build €20mn Bombproof Wall to Guard Eiffel Tower Against Terrorist Attacks
An 8-foot-tall reinforced glass barrier will be erected around the base of the Eiffel Tower, as security forces say that the iconic Paris landmark remains a top target for terrorists, following a series of attacks throughout France in the past two years.
“The terror threat remains high in Paris and the most vulnerable sites, led by the Eiffel Tower, must be the object of special security measures,” said the assistant mayor for tourism, Jean-Francois Martins. “We have three aims — to improve the look, make access easier and strengthen the protection of visitors and staff.”
The anti-ballistic fence will not just cover the steel structure itself, but the gardens surrounding it, and access will be restricted through fewer entry points, making it easier to monitor. Although visitors will have to pass through checkpoints to enter the forecourt, it will remain free.

Revealed: Secret Plan to Tie Britain to EU After Brexit Pushed ‘Under the Radar’
MINISTERS have provoked fury for trying to put through a treaty “under the radar” which will keep Britain tied to the EU after Brexit.
An early day motion (EDM) will today be put down by Ukip MP Douglas Carswell objecting to the Unitary Patent Court Agreement (UPCA).
The deal, which ministers have tried to avoid having a vote on, means that Britain will still be subject to the European Court of Justice (ECJ) after Brexit and mean we are still tied in with single market rules despite promises by Theresa May that we will completely leave.
Ministers have claimed the UPC is separate to the EU but only EU members can sign it and the European Court of Justice is the final court of appeal.
It also means that the standards for products and inventions are set in Europe not Britain.

Incidents range from unwelcome sexual comments to lewd behavior to actual physical contact. Here are some examples from Cairo:…

Elites Prep for Trumpocalypse: Buying New Zealand Land, Condos in Old Missile Silos
In the 48 hours following the surprise election of underdog Donald Trump in November, New Zealand websites saw a 2,500-percent increase in traffic. The New Zealand Immigration website, for example, received 88,353 visits from U.S. citizens during those 48 hours, up from 2,300 visits a day. The investor-focused New Zealand Now website received 101,000 daily hits from the United States, compared to the usual 1,500. Almost 18,000 Americans registered an interest in studying, working, or investing in New Zealand during the month of November, up from just 1,272 in November 2015. And 13,401 U.S. citizens registered with New Zealand’s immigration authorities (the first official step toward seeking permanent residency), more than 17 times the usual rate.
But the influx of the world’s elite into New Zealand began well before Trump’s victory. In the first 10 months of 2016, foreigners bought nearly 1,400 square miles of land in New Zealand, four times what they bought the year before. And in the last six years, nearly 1,000 foreigners have acquired residency there under programs that require them to make investments locally of at least a million dollars.
[Comment: I think that the photo that goes with the article explains why people are buying real estate in New Zealand.]

Japan Took in Just 28 Refugees in 2016
(Reuters) Japan accepted just 28 refugees last year when a record number applied for asylum, a government document dated for release on Friday showed, throwing a spotlight on the nation’s reluctance to accept foreigners.
In 2016, 10,901 people sought asylum in Japan, up 44 percent from a year earlier, when the country accepted 27.
Of the accepted refugees, seven were from Afghanistan, four from Ethiopia and three from Eritrea, according to the document seen by Reuters. It was not clear whether any Syrians had applied for, or won, asylum.

Migrant Crisis — EU MEPs Debate Huge Penalties for Member States Refusing to Take in Migrants
BRUSSELS is considering slapping extraordinary financial penalties of up to £280 million a year on member states which refuse to take in migrants under the bloc’s controversial refugee quota system.
Furious MEPs have proposed adding a radical new stick with which to beat countries who fail to show “solidarity” in the battle to finally bring Europe’s migrant chaos under control.
But Eastern European members are likely to react with outrage to the controversial solution, which would cost them hundreds of millions of pounds a year in development funding.
And it would be a risky move at a time of growing euroscepticism across the continent, with anti-Brussels parties on the march and migration an increasingly contentious issue with voters

One of Trudeau’s Syrian Refugees Charged With Sexual Assault at West Edmonton Mall Pool
Yesterday one of Justin Trudeau’s Syrian refugees, a 39-year-old Muslim man named Soleiman Hajj Soleiman, was charged with six counts of sexual assault, and six counts of sexual interference, for molesting teenaged girls at the West Edmonton Mall waterpark.
Yes, Muslim mass sex assault like the kind we’ve heard about in Europe, has been brought to Canada by Justin Trudeau.
And the accused was a model “refugee,” part of the Liberal propaganda campaign to tell us how wonderful these folks are.
This isn’t new.
Swimming pools across Europe now have posters and brochures telling Muslim migrants not to sexually assault women. We’ve told you about the assaults by Muslim migrants that happen anyway at these pools, and at the pool at a Lethbridge hotel pool, too.
But how was this serial sexual assault treated in the Canadian media? Do you even need to ask?
I’ll show you what the CBC and others did, and didn’t, mention…
Meanwhile, Parliament is unanimously agreeing to that anti-Islamophobia motion that seeks to “eliminate” any “Islamophobia” — any dissent, any criticism, any fear of Islam.
Maybe Global and CTV and CBC and the Edmonton Journal are just getting a head start on complying…

Seven Schoolgirls ‘Assaulted by Migrants’ In German Swimming Pools
SEVEN schoolgirls in two separate incidents have been sexually assaulted in German swimming pools allegedly by asylum seekers.
In the first incident in Bad Oldesloe, in the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein, two men aged 23 and 24 allegedly assaulted five underage girls after grabbing them in the water and sexually assaulting them.
The terrified girls raised the alarm with lifeguards, who had not observed what was happening, who threw them out and then called the police.
Officers confirmed later that they had managed to arrest the two who were identified as asylum seekers living in nearby refugee accommodation.

‘You Look Older Than 17!?’ Moment Sky News Host Probes Calais ‘Child’ Migrants Set for UK
A GROUP of child migrants were repeatedly asked how old they were as they waited in Calais in the hope of crossing into Britain.
The three males were filmed waiting on the roadside holding a Union Jack flag as they discussed their desire to leave France for a life in the UK.
Calais was the home of the infamous ‘Jungle’ camp which housed thousands of migrants until it was bulldozed and cleared in late 2016.
Speaking to three young males, a Sky News reporter asked the trio their ages.
The first of the men said he was 17, causing the reporter to say: “You look older than 17. You really are 17?”

The Death of Marxism Revisited
About ten years ago I published a book, The Strange Death of Marxism, which argued strenuously that the present Left is not Marxist, but post-Marxist. Unlike traditional Marxists and European democratic socialists, the type of Left that has gained ground since and even before the fall of the Soviet Empire is culturally radical but only secondarily interested in economic change. Our present Left makes its peace with private enterprise and even large corporations, providing it can impose its idea of social and cultural transformation on increasingly powerless citizens and their increasingly indoctrinated children. Not that this Left is particularly friendly to anything that is private, including economic transactions. But it treats the economy as something that it can influence without having to nationalize, thereby avoiding those disastrous policies that socialist governments of the past tried to enact. Our own master class has sensibly concluded that it’s better to allow market forces to operate while making sure that public administration can dip, when it advances a pretext, into the profits. Further, the master class endlessly bullies the public into going along with increasingly complicated behavioral guidelines, supposedly intended to fight “discrimination.” It is the culture and only instrumentally the government that the post-Marxist Left seeks to dominate; and the type of administrative state that has expanded explosively in every Western country since the 1960s is an effective instrument by which social engineers and sensitivity commissars can do their work.
Although I haven’t change my view about how the Left has transformed itself since I wrote my book, it does seem that in some ways there’s been more continuity between the old and the new Lefts than I once suggested. Old-time Marxists here and in Europe became multiculturalists almost overnight, while our current leftists still admire Communists of the past (like Castro) and associate anti-Communists with fascism. Moreover, as I’ve watched the organized anti-Trump hysteria that is gripping our grievance-crowds, soi-disant entertainment industries, and unhinged media, it is obvious that the PC-multicultural Left is following the older, more cerebral Marxist Left in three critical respects…

CANADA:
Every time there’s a Liberal Party in charge in Ottawa,Quebec gets special treatment. Bail outs, HUGE transfer payments from provinces with one-seventh the population of Quebec.Newfoundland and the Maritime provinces are far more devoted to the Liberals yet they are virtually ignored. No one from Kamloops to Winnipeg expects anything good . Trudeau recently referred to Saskatchewan farmers as “Brad Wall’s farmers”. Anyone on the prairies isn’t a “real” Canadian I guess
The big news for us Canadians will be on Monday when Mr. Trudeau Goes to Washington to meet President Trump for the first time. We are hoping that “Boy” does well to Tarz…I mean, Trump,,, and he is schooled not to get “touchy-feely” with the new President as he did with Obama. Bambi and The Trumpinator togeather at last ! It’ll be worth watching,
A recent Poll from Campaign Research shows that Trudeau’s approval rating with Canadians is only 39%, while the DISapproval is 46 % (15% still don’t know). This is probably the lowest approval rating for any PM in a long while.
The Liberal Party itself stands at 34% approval which is tied with the Conservatives. I have no idea when the last time a government Liberal Party scored so low and so early in it’s reign in any poll.
If President Trump doesn’t tell Trudeau what a “disaster” he is then maybe some Liberals will, if things don’t improve – and fast !
In a Mainstream Poll taken in early Feb. at least 51% of Canadians approved of Trump’s stance on National Security (only 39% liked Trudeau’s).
When it comes to Trump’s approach to the economy 53% of Canadians supported. Trudeau’s barely squeaked by with 43% approval ( with 41% disapproving).
I hope Trump reads Mr. “Middle Class (but never been it)” Trudeau the riot act on refugee-ism.
Utterly amazing, the numbers of dyed in the wool leftists (liberals) in Canada who still support meathead even after he’s been shoving his feet in his mouth for over a year now.
And with all the poor, poor migrants/refugees now braving miles of unremitting cold and howling blizzards, not to mention cantankerous bull-moose and the odd cougar and wolf pack, just to claw their way to the paradise of Canada with their last remaining strength; anything to escape the cruel, islamophobic, moslem-hating minions of the heartless new President of USA…
Oh, get out the violins! Without doubt they were driven right up to the border and probably walked 100 yards to Canada, crossed the border and became illegal aliens once again. But as we all know, our naive, clueless PM will welcome them with benefits and housing just to show what a ‘nice, socially responsible’ people we are!
If these people were indigenous Europeans willing to work for a living they would be welcomed–by real Canadians. But NOT by the government. For some reason the government only wants moslems.
A RED is a RED is a RED…even if they claim to be Democrats.
“Recently, at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Soros described President Trump as a “would-be dictator who is going to fail.”
It’s interesting how to Leftists like George, dictators are only bad if they are right leaning. Castro for example George, how would you describe him? Hero of the people? Champion of freedom?
Thanks for the old article on the perfidy of the SNP. I have followed Scottish politics for a while now, and have seen the hostility and even outright lies dished out at the SNP by all and sundry, simply for supporting independence. I don’t particularly like them, but what else is out there right now? Labour has been abandoned in Scotland except for Glasgow, and for good reasons, the Lib Dems suffered a massive rout, and the Greens seem to have little to offer.
You must be referring to the SGP (Scottish Globalist Party). There is no such thing as the SNP.
Haha. You may be right.
