The Trap is Set: “Both Sides Are Utterly Unprepared for What’s Coming”

If there’s one thing that should be absolutely clear in the current political environment in America, it’s that there exists a deep division between the people of this nation. Both of sides of the aisle argue vehemently about what’s best going forward, sometimes to the point of physical violence. And though the election of President Donald Trump speaks volumes about the sentiment of Americans, the following video report from Storm Clouds Gathering warns that both sides are utterly unprepared for what’ s coming.

Is Trump going to usher in a new era of prosperity and innovation?

Or is he going to be the one standing in the center ring when the circus tent comes down?…

Some voted for Trump as a political Molotov cocktail… Trump is a business man, you say… He’s going to make things happen… cut taxes… cut regulation… invest a trillion dollar in infrastructure… punish companies that move factories overseas… rebuild the military… restore relations with Russia… start a trade war with China… and a new arms race would create jobs… there’s a lot to unpack there… and those debates are worth having.

However, much of this hinges on a variable that Trump doesn’t control… The Federal Reserve… Word is, the Fed is leaning towards increasing interest rates aggressively in 2017 and may engage in anti-inflationary measures to offset Trump’s infrastructure plans… that means the flow of money and credit is about to be tightened…

It also means the Fed is setting itself up for a showdown.

A Vatican-Democratic Party Alliance? (Catholics Ask Trump Administration to Investigate)

We were alarmed to discover that, during the third year of the first term of the Obama administration your previous opponent, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and other government officials with whom she associated proposed a Catholic “revolution” in which the final demise of what was left of the Catholic Church in America would be realized. Approximately a year after this e-mail discussion, which was never intended to be made public, we find that Pope Benedict XVI abdicated under highly unusual circumstances and was replaced by a pope whose apparent mission is to provide a spiritual component to the radical ideological agenda of the international left. The Pontificate of Pope Francis has subsequently called into question its own legitimacy on a multitude of occasions.

During the 2016 presidential campaign we were astonished to witness Pope Francis actively campaigning against your proposed policies concerning the securing of our borders, and even going so far as to suggest that you are not a Christian. We appreciated your prompt and pointed response to this disgraceful accusation.

We remain puzzled by the behavior of this ideologically charged Pope, whose mission seems to be one of advancing secular agendas of the left rather than guiding the Catholic Church in Her sacred mission. It is simply not the proper role of a Pope to be involved in politics to the point that he is considered to be the leader of the international left.

ABC Cuts Footage of Iraqi Detained at Airport Saying He Likes Trump

Mainstream media caught in act of promoting fake news — again

Iraqi interpreter Hameed Darweesh was temporarily detained Saturday night at JFK airport in New York pursuant to President Trump’s executive order on refugees.

When being interviewed by the media, Darweesh said, “America is the greatest nation. The greatest people in the world.”

Asked his opinion of President Trump, he said: “I like him, but I don’t know. This is a policy, I don’t know.”

Leftist agitator Rep. Nydia Velazquez had this hilarious reaction which is going viral across the internet:…

The Wikileaks founder said viewers ought to blame Hillary Clinton, not him, for what was revealed in his notorious leaks during the campaign season.

CAIR Excuse: Sensitive Muslims Are Driven to Faking Hate Crimes by Cruel Islamophobia

Fake hate crimes claimed by Muslims are getting to be quite a thing, to the point where spokeshuman Ibrahim Hooper of the Council of American Islamic Relations (CAIR) felt a need to explain it away. He says the reason for all the fake hate crimes is that muslims are driven crazy by the terrible “Islamophobia” that they suffer from meanie suspicious Americans.

“Islamophobia” is a go-to excuse for any misbehavior that muslims cannot easily escape. Now we supposed to believe that “Islamophobia” makes them insane. (Remember that a phobiais an irrational fear, while some muslims really are trying to kill us.)

Hillary is Back: Intends to Start TV Show and Position for Another Run: “She’s Convinced She’d Get Fabulous Ratings”

Edward Klein, the author of Clinton exposé Guilty As Sin, reports that the losing candidate hasn’t given up on the White House just yet.

“She’s been talking very seriously about the idea of having her own television show,” said the source. “As a TV host, she’d discuss the issues of the day from a progressive point of view, have top guests, interview world leaders and progressive thinkers.

“It would have to be a show that she and her people completely controlled,” the source continued. “She’s convinced she’d get fabulous ratings in a political climate where there’s so much anger in Democratic circles over Donald Trump’s election.

“She’s utterly determined not to fade into the background. She intends to stay in the limelight and keep fighting the good fight. She knows Obama is going to be out there fighting too. But frankly, she doesn’t think he’s a great leader or a great fighter, which leaves an opening for her to be the acknowledged leader-in-exile of her party.

“She thinks being the host of a popular TV show would energize the Democratic Party base and her tens of millions of fans. It’s a way to make a comeback and position herself for another run at the White House starting in a year or so.”

Trump Sets 5-Year and Lifetime Lobbying Ban for Officials

“Most of the people standing behind me will not be able to go to work,” Trump joked

President Donald Trump acted Saturday to fulfill a key portion of his pledge to “drain the swamp” in Washington, banning administration officials from ever lobbying the U.S. on behalf of a foreign government and imposing a separate five-year ban on other lobbying.

Administration officials described the bans as historic in scope. But it was not immediately clear how either one would be enforced.

Trump has said individuals who want to aid him in his quest to “Make America Great Again” should focus on the jobs they will be doing to help the American people, and not thinking about the future income they could rake in by peddling their influence after serving in government.

Trump to Order 60-Day Cybersecurity Probe

US President Donald Trump will order a 60-day report on the state of the nation’s cybersecurity, complete with recommendations on whether new legal powers are required.

That’s according to a draft executive order leaked to The Washington Post and posted online.

For the most part, the draft [PDF] reflects the persistent position of the US government — namely that cyberspace is a vital national resource, a source of significant innovation and economic value, and the government should ensure its security and actively defend it.

White House Backs Trump’s Decision to Include Strategist Bannon at National Security Meetings

The White House on Sunday said the addition of President Trump’s chief strategist, Steve Bannon, to regular meetings of the country’s top national security officials was essential to the commander in chief’s decision-making process.

Trump took steps Saturday to begin restructuring the White House National Security Council, adding the senior adviser to the principals committee, which includes the secretaries of state and defense. At the same time, Trump said his director of national intelligence and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff would attend “where issues pertaining to their responsibilities and expertise are to be discussed.”

Bannon served in the Navy before attending Harvard Business School, working at Goldman Sachs, starting his own media-focused boutique investment banking firm and later heading the ultraconservative outlet Breitbart News, which has been condemned for featuring racist, sexist and anti-Semitic content.

At Least Five People Dead After Gunmen Open Fire Inside Quebec City Mosque

Five people were killed after gunmen opened fire in a Quebec City mosque during evening prayers, the mosque’s president told reporters on Sunday Reuters reported, confirming preliminary reports. Earlier, a witness told Reuters that up to three gunmen fired on about 40 people inside the Quebec City Islamic Cultural Center. Multiple people are said to be wounded.

A number of ambulances are parked outside of the Islamic cultural centre of Quebec in the Sainte-Foy neighbourhood. Police have set up a perimeter around the mosque.

Move Over Skimmers — Meet New Tool for Stealing Credit-Card Info

Hard-to-detect shimmers represent more devious way hack chip data

(CBC) Consumers and retailers be on guard: there’s a new and more devious way for fraudsters to steal your credit and debit card information.

“Shimmers” are the newest form of credit card skimmers, only smaller, more powerful and practically impossible to detect. And they’re popping up all over the place, says RCMP Cpl. Michael McLaughlin, who sounded the alarm after four shimmers were extracted from checkout card readers at a Coquitlam, B.C., retailer.

“Something this sophisticated, this organized and multi-jurisdictional has all the classic hallmarks of organized crime,” said McLaughlin.

Unlike skimmers, a shimmer — named for its slim profile — fits inside a card reader and can be installed quickly and unobtrusively by a criminal who slides it into the machine while pretending to make a purchase or withdrawal.

Multiple Dead: 2 Arrested in Shooting at Quebec City Mosque

‘Quebec categorically reject this barbaric violence,’ says Philippe Couillard

Quebec City Police say several people are dead after shots were fired inside a Quebec City mosque on Sunday night.

Multiple people are also feared wounded. Their condition is not known at this time.

A few dozen people were inside the Islamic cultural centre of Quebec in the Sainte-Foy neighbourhood when the shooting began just after 8 p.m.

Quebec City Police Constable Étienne Doyon said mostly men were gathered at the mosque for evening prayers.

The director of the centre said at least five people were killed, but that information has not been confirmed by police.

Two suspects have been arrested, one of whom was apprehended after a chase that ended near l’île d’Orléans.

A large perimeter has been set up around the mosque.

‘A Quebecois accent’

A witness, who asked to remain anonymous, told CBC’s French-language service Radio-Canada that two masked individuals entered the mosque.

“It seemed to me that they had a Quebecois accent. They started to fire, and they they shot they yelled, ‘Allahu akbar!’ The bullets hit people that were praying. People who were praying lost their lives. A bullet passed right over my head,” said the witness.

“There were even kids. There was even a three-year-old who was with his father.”…

Austria: Does the Church Really Care About Terrorism?

In his Christmas sermon, broadcast live on Austria’s ORF and Germany’s ZDF TV channels, Catholic diocesan Bishop Aegidius Zsifkovics of St. Martin’s Cathedral in Eisenstadt, Austria, pontificated that tightening borders is an “erroneous opinion”:

“Barbed wire, fences and walls are now many people’s answer to the refugees [coming into] Europe. The terror of a few, as last seen in Berlin, reinforce many of us in this erroneous opinion”.

Bishop Zsifkovics declared that we cannot let “Cowardly terror attacks, like that in Berlin, succeed in destabilizing our society, making us colder and less solidary. Let us not allow the terrorists this triumph — we will not be ice cold like them!”

Since the bishop’s speech, the Austrian Military Intelligence Service has predicted that up to 15 million migrants from Africa could arrive in the EU by 2020. The report predicts that a sharp rise in unemployment across the African continent will create a new wave of economic migrants, which will dwarf the current one, which has brought over a million migrants to Europe since the migrant crisis began.

Hard-Left Candidate Wins French Socialists’ Presidential Primary

Benoit Hamon, riding to victory from left-wing obscurity on a radical proposal to a pay all adults a monthly basic income, will be the Socialist Party candidate in France’s presidential election after handily beating ex-Prime Minister Manuel Valls in a primary runoff vote on Sunday.

Hamon’s win sends the divided Socialists, weakened by the chronic unpopularity of outgoing President Francois Hollande, into a tough presidential battle behind a candidate with limited government experience and hard-left politics that could alienate some center-left Socialist voters.

With ballots counted at 60 percent of polling stations, Hamon had almost 59 percent of the vote to Valls’ 41 percent. Valls immediately conceded defeat in the face of the result that appeared like a clear sanction of both his and Hollande’s polices.

Well-Off, Educated Indonesians Not Immune to IS Propaganda

The recent arrest of former mid-ranking Finance Ministry official Triyono Utomo after being deported from Turkey for attempting to enter Syria to join the Islamic State (IS) radical movement with his family has changed the discourse on the group’s support base in Indonesia.

Earlier, experts suggested that economic factors could be the main driver of the influx of Indonesians going to Syria in past years, as IS reportedly offers high wages and allowances for its fighters and their family members.

But Triyono’s decision to leave a well-paying job at the ministry to live under IS in Syria shows that the militant group could appeal to anyone regardless of economic or educational background.

War With US Becoming a “Practical Reality” Chinese Military Warns

In the harshest warning yet that China is actively contemplating a worst case scenario for its diplomatic relations with the US, a senior Chinese military official said that “a war within the president’s term’ or ‘war breaking out tonight’ are not just slogans, they are becoming a practical reality.” The remarks, first reported by the SCMP, were published on the People’s Liberation Army website in response to the escalating rhetoric towards China from America’s new administration, and as Beijing braces itself for a possible deterioration in Sino-US ties, with a particular emphasis on maritime security.

The commentary written by an official at the national defence mobilisation department in the Central Military Commission — which has overall authority of China’s armed forces — also called for a US rebalancing of its strategy in Asia, military deployments in the East and South China Seas and the instillation of a missile defence system in South Korea were hot spots getting closer to ignition.

Canada Prime Minister President Donald Trump’s Latest Immigration Saboteur

Canada, through its lib-left, Barack Obama-handpicked Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, has just become President Donald Trump’s biggest and nearest immigration saboteur. here

“To those fleeing persecution, terror & war, Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith. Diversity is our strength,” Trudeau tweeted out to the world at 3:20 p.m., yesterday. The tweet features a recycled picture of Trudeau bending down to welcome a little girl refugee from his Dec. 11, 2015 homepage, taken when he showed up at the Lester B. Pearson International Airport with winter coasts for the first planeload of Syrian refugees to Canada.

The feel-good Canadian Liberal Government’s latest Public Relations initiative, all but overlooks that the Trump administration, for the sake of the protection of its own citizens, is attempting to screen citizens of countries that promote terror to prevent potential terrorists from entering the United States.

Canada shares an 8,891 kilometre (5,525 mile) border with the United States. Its largest province, Ontario is primarily linked to the U.S. through a series of bridges. Any of those “fleeing persecution, terror & war” welcomed to Canada, have easy access to the U.S. border…

At this stage, with Canada, France and Germany lined up against him, President Trump could be the only western leader who cares about preventing “radical Islamic terrorists” from entering the U.S.”

France: North African Youth Gangs Attack Chinese Migrants

GANGS of North African youths have terrified Chinese migrants amid complaints they have become ‘too rich’.

The streets of Paris have erupted into inter-migrant strife as North African youths have targeted ‘rich’ Chinese migrants amid growing tensions.

Police in France recorded more than 200 attacks on Chinese immigrants last year, mostly from hostile migrant gangs.

This comes amid a growing perception that recent migrants from North Africa have become “too demanding” and consider themselves “victims” who deserve pity.

[Comment: The recently retired economist and political commentator Thomas Sowell did remarkable work on the socio-economics of ethnic groups. Ethnic groups differ from each other in cultural traits, which leads to disparities. For example, Sowell point out, and I quote: “… some commentators found it strange that the Chinese minority, which is just 5 percent of the Indonesian population, owned an estimated four-fifths of the capital in the country. But it is not strange. Such disparities have long been common in other countries in Southeast Asia, where Chinese immigrants typically entered poor and then prospered, creating whole industries in the process. ]

German Official: We Regret Open Borders

Says growing Muslim population a challenge for open-minded society

Berlin made mistakes with its “open-door” refugee policy, which “went off course” and saw hundreds of thousands of asylum seekers entering the country over the past two years, German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble admits.

The German government is currently trying “to improve what went off course in 2015,” Schaeuble told Die Welt’s Sunday edition in an interview. “We politicians are human beings and we also make mistakes, but one can at least learn from them,” he maintained.

On Friday, Handelsblatt cited a Finance Ministry report that shows Germany spent €21.7 billion ($23.3 billion) on tackling the refugee crisis in 2016. Most of the money went to German states and municipalities, which received €9.3 billion last year, while measures to integrate refugees received €2.1 billion in funding.

Here Are the Latest Updates on Trump’s Refugee Ban

Less than 48 hours after announcing his executive order on refugees, global opposition to Trump intensified on Sunday as world leaders, US (mostly tech) companies and civil rights groups condemned the move to temporarily limit entry from predominantly Muslim countries.

Here are the latest updates in the ongoing saga as of noon on Sunday:

Global government lash out at order. Governments from London and Berlin to Jakarta and Tehran spoke out against Trump’s order. A spokesman for the U.K.’s Theresa May, who visited Trump on Friday and hadn’t commented during the day yesterday, told the AP May does “not agree” with the order. Canada PM Trudeau, in a tweet, said on Saturday Canada would welcome those fleeing “persecution, terror and war. Canadians will welcome you, regardless of your faith.” Scotland’s Nicola Sturgeon endorsed Trudea’s tweet. A similar message was sent by Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, who said refugees deserve a safe haven regardless of their background or religion. Danish Foreign Minister Anders Samuelsen said the decision was unfair. Germany pledged to play a bigger role on the international stage.

US tech companies “do not support:” Netflix Inc.’s chief executive officer said the changes were “un-American”; Alphabet Inc.’s Google advised staff who may be impacted by the order to return to the U.S. immediately; commeting on the order, Apple’s Tim Cook said “It is not a policy we support”

Lyft donates $1 million to ACLU. In an email from Lyft to users, the company noted that the executive order is “antithetical to both Lyft’s and our nation’s core values. We stand firmly against these actions, and will not be silent on issues that threaten the values of our community.” The release went on to note that the company pledged to donate “$1,000,000 over the next four years to the ACLU to defend our constitution.” Uber slammed. Lyft’s response to the protests contrasted to that of its rival, Uber. While Uber’s CEO Travis Kalanick pledged to compensate drivers stranded overseas due to the executive order, he did not specifically condemn the executive order. The company was criticized for the tone-deaf response from its CEO, prompting a new hashtag on Twitter: #DeleteUber.

Trump refuses to relent. Despite the global criticism, Trump was steadfast as of Sunday morning, tweeting twice on the topic, first saying that “our country needs strong borders and extreme vetting, NOW. Look what is happening all over Europe and, indeed, the world — a horrible mess!” following it up with “Christians in the Middle-East have been executed in large numbers. We cannot allow this horror to continue!”

During a telephone conversation between the two leaders Hollande stressed the “economic and political consequences of a protectionist approach”, the Elysée Palace said in a statement.

Trump on Friday signed an executive order suspending the US refugee resettlement programme for 120 days.

“Faced with an unstable and uncertain world, withdrawal into oneself is a dead-end response,” Hollande was quoted as saying.

He added that defending democratic principles required compliance with “the principles on which it is founded, in particular the acceptance of refugees”.

‘I Would Do the Same’: Dutch Politician Praises Trump on Immigration Ban

Anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders in Netherlands praised Donald Trump for his immigration ban order.

On Friday Trump put out a four-month hold on allowing refugees into the United States (US), as well as temporarily barred travelers from seven countries, including Syria.

“I’m establishing new vetting measures to keep radical Islamic terrorists out of the United States of America. Don’t want them here,” Trump Friday at the Pentagon, Reuters reported. “We only want to admit those into our country who will support our country and love deeply our people,” he said.

In a Tweet, Wilders said he “would do the same” and hope the new POTUS adds more countries like Saudi Arabia to the list.

Immigration Report: George Soros Funding US Airport Chaos

Leftist billionaire activist (terrorist) George Soros is helping fund the airport protests against President Donald Trump’s executive order to ban refugees from war-torn Syria indefinitely and suspend visas from 7 countries for at least 30 days as reported Sunday

This connection to George Soros, including reports of funding lawsuits to block the orders, bring on the Big Q: Are these protesters being paid to be there?

The activists are being paid in part by George Soros.

Merkel Slams Trump’s Muslim Ban as ‘Not Justified’

German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Sunday slammed the restrictions on immigration imposed by US President Donald Trump, saying it was “not justified” to target people based on their background or religion.

“The chancellor regrets the entry ban imposed by the US government against refugees and nationals from certain countries,” her spokesman Steffen Seibert said in a statement.

“She is convinced that even in the necessarily resolute battle against terrorism it is not justified to place people from a certain origin or belief under general suspicion.”

Sanctuary Sheriff Faces Removal From Office for Aiding Criminal Illegals

Sheriff Hernandez blocking feds from rounding up felon illegals

Travis Co. Sheriff Sally Hernandez is facing removal from office after defying Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s call to end “sanctuary city” policies which aid criminal aliens.

Hernandez, whose jurisdiction includes Austin, the capital of Texas, has rejected Abbott’s request to reverse her refusal to cooperate with Immigration and Customs Enforcement except in limited circumstances, which Abbott says is hypocritical.

“First, you claim you have no legal power to comply with ICE detainers. That proves too much, of course, because by your own admission, Travis County Sheriff’s Office will honor some ICE detainers, for example when the alien is charged with or convicted of capital murder,” Abbott wrote. “You have the exact same legal authority to honor ICE detainers for capital murder cases as you do for other crimes that you personally deem unworthy of enforcement.”

In addition, Abbott pointed out that ICE also issues detainers for illegal aliens with felony records — including murder.

“…Under your reckless policy, for example, dangerous criminal aliens convicted of felonies like murder, aggravated assault, human trafficking, including child sex trafficking, aggravated kidnapping, including sexual performance by a child or indecency with a child, dangerous gang activities…,” he added.

Somali Invader: ‘I’ll Live Forever on Benefits in Germany’

A Somali invader pretending to be an asylum seeker has admitted to Lithuanian journalists that he came to Germany to live on welfare for the rest of his life, that he has no intention of working, and as soon as he receives German citizenship, he will bring over his “whole family of ten.”

The journalists, all working for Lithuania’s largest news portal Lietuvos Rytas (Lithuanian Morning), reported back after visiting an invader center in Munich where 1,200 nonwhites from Libya, Somalia, and Sudan are housed.

The Lithuanian journalists reported their amazement that the nonwhites were very open about their intention not to work and just live off welfare.

“A Somali told me that he had decided to stay in Munich because of the generous contributions and good public services,” the report read.

Soros-Funded Groups Behind Effort to Stop Trump’s Border Plan

Trump’s immigration ban no different than Obama’s

The flurry of anguished news stories and protests surrounding President Trump’s executive action temporarily suspending “immigrants and non-immigrants” from “countries of particular concern” appears to be part of a coordinated PR effort financed by left-wing billionaire George Soros.

Rather than a complete “Muslim ban” as promised during the campaign, Trump’s executive order contains moderate refugee restrictions, similar to those that have been implemented by President Obama.

Starbucks Announces Plans to Hire 10,000 Refugees

With a relentless barrage of corporate executives taking veiled, and not so veiled, shots at Trump’s immigration policies, moments ago Starbuck’s outgoing CEO Howard Schultz went one better, and in a letter to employees, the CEO announced plans to hire some 10,000 refugees in the 75 countries in which Starbucks does business, and furthermore added that “our Partner Resources team has been in direct contact” with employees affected by President Trump’s immigration ban.”

Terror-Tied Group CAIR Causing Chaos, Promoting Protests & Lawsuits as Trump Protects Nation

The orders are designed to keep Americans safer from terrorism

The Council on American-Islamic Relations, aka CAIR, has helped launch a series of protests across the country and plans lawsuits related to President Trump’s recent executive orders on immigration.

The orders are designed to keep Americans safer from terrorism by temporarily barring visitors from Iran, Iraq, Somalia, Syria, Yemen, Libya, and Sudan from entering the U.S. without “extreme vetting” and banning refugees from these countries for at least 30 days.

CAIR has been declared a terrorist organization by the United Arab Emirates and was named by federal prosecutors as an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas-funding operation.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is also increasingly a part of America’s institutional left infrastructure and was one of the partners behind the recent Women’s March in Washington that drew hundreds of thousands, along with feminist groups like Planned Parenthood.

Trump’s Exclusion of Aliens From Specific Countries is Legal

“Arguments to contrary ignore Constitution and misstate federal law”

On Friday, President Donald Trump issued an executive order calling for heightened vetting of certain foreign nationals seeking entry into the United States.

The order temporarily suspends entry by the nationals of seven Muslim-majority countries: Syria, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Libya, Somalia, and Yemen. It is to last for 90 days, while heightened vetting procedures are developed.

The order has predictably prompted intense protest from critics of immigration restrictions (most of whom are also critics of Trump). At the New York Times, the Cato Institute’s David J. Bier claims the temporary suspension is illegal because, in his view, it flouts the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965. This contention is meritless, both constitutionally and as a matter of statutory law.

Trump Says Top Priority is to ‘Protect and Serve’ America Amid Backlash Over Extreme Vetting

President Trump’s order to suspend the country’s refugee program and temporarily ban immigration from seven mostly-Muslim nations erupted Sunday into a full-scale political battle — with Trump and top aides defending the move amid nationwide protests and congressional Democrats vowing a relentless Capitol Hill fight to undo the order.

“America is a proud nation of immigrants, and we will continue to show compassion to those fleeing oppression. But we will do so while protecting our own citizens and border,” Trump said Sunday afternoon. “This is not a Muslim ban, as the media is falsely reporting. … My first priority will always be to protect and serve our country, but as president I will find ways to help all those who are suffering.”

Trump issued the statement as hundreds of protesters marched in Washington and in other cities across the country to protest the president’s self-described “extreme vetting” — which resulted this weekend in dozens of foreign visitors and some legal permanent U.S. residents being detained at domestic airports.

Earlier in the day, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., staged a press conference with some immigrant children and adults impacted by the bans and vowed to fight them on Capitol Hill “with every fiber of my being.”

Trump Executive Order: White House Stands Firm Over Travel Ban

The Trump administration is standing firm over its ban on immigration from seven countries despite court rulings and mass protests against it.

In a statement, President Trump said visas would once again be issued once “the most secure policies” were in place, and denied it was a Muslim ban.

The move has been widely condemned.

Sixteen state attorneys general have said the order is unconstitutional. Several federal judges have temporarily halted the deportation of visa holders.

Mr Trump’s executive order, signed on Friday, halted the entire US refugee programme for 120 days, indefinitely banned Syrian refugees, and suspended all nationals from seven Muslim-majority countries.

Trump’s Travel Ban Makes US Look ‘Like a Banana Republic’

US Refugee Ban: Canada’s Justin Trudeau Takes a Stand

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has taken a stand on social media against the temporary US ban on refugees and immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries.

Mr Trudeau underscored his government’s commitment to bringing in “those fleeing persecution, terror & war”.

The US Department of Homeland Security said the entry ban would also apply to dual nationals of the seven countries.

However, Mr Trudeau’s office says Canadian dual nationals are exempt.

“I’m a Woman Who Went to the Women’s March and the March for Life. The Differences Were Stunning”

A week after the Inauguration of Donald Trump, politically active women across America could choose to make themselves heard at two major rallies revolving around women’s issues. They could attend a pro-choice, feminist march known as the Women’s March or they could wait one week and attend the 44th annual pro-life, March for Life.

Some lucky few, such as myself, were able to attend both.

The marches had their similarities. Both marches were held in D.C. Both marches were heavily attended by women. And both marches attracted people from all over the country to participate. But each march was not made equal.

Being physically at the marches, it is easy to recognize differences between the two. In fact, some of the differences were downright stunning. Take a look for yourself, perhaps you will agree.

  1. “At Least Five People Dead After Gunmen Open Fire Inside Quebec City Mosque”

They are a danger to themselves and everyone around them.

  2. I will say that I am old enough to remember when America was quite picky about who they would take in. This is not necessarily a bad thing, since America does NOT need people who will arrive here and then make trouble. If you want to come in, you used to have to pledge to agree with America’s laws. I do not think that is too much to ask of people wishing to come here. And back in my day, people were expected to work, not just sit on welfare.

    • They still picky. If you are a law abiding citizen and want to migrate to the USA, you can’t! There is no official immigration only visa lottery. Or you could just walk over from Mexico and directly lineup for welfare.

  3. One sign the mosque in Quebec was shot up by Muslims: The MSM is not covering the “atrocity” 24/7. If they thought it was done by white nationalists there would be nothing else on the Alphabet News – nothing. Instead they are all about Trump’s immigration stance.

They may not know for sure yet who the perps are, but they at least suspect.

    Look! A squirrel!

  4. Go Trump go! It amazes me to see the self-righteous responses by world “leaders” regarding this 90-day Muslim ban by Trump. Where was the outrage after Paris, Nice, Berlin, etc? Oh sure these same world “leaders” offered platitudes about fighting terror, etc but have done precious little. Trump on the other hand is doing what every leader of every nation should do – protect its citizens. But somehow that is seen as evil. One more thing this “diversity is strength” nonsense from Trudeau is communist. A strong nation is built on unity. We have far too much “diversify” already and it’s destroying our nation from within!

    • Trump really *is* a miracle, isn’t he? We came sooo close to being stuck with another puppet who would have continued to cement into place the evils Obama visited on us.

Our country is divided; unity isn’t possible right now, especially not with our cultural institutions invaded by the mind-snatchers as they are right now. Pulling the ship of state out of the water and beginning to chip off the barnacles will take some time and elbow grease to make it sea-worthy again. But it can happen if enough people think change is possible.

We have to have some hope that these past eight years of evil can be reversed. You can bet that the “transformers” are still working on bringing America into line.

    • Short reaction from Hungary and Poland: Both government emphasized that every country has the right to determine who enters and nobody should question that right.

  5. I just had a great idea for President Trump next executive action: He should ban and forbid anyone jumping off the roof of any high building.
I can’t wait to see the dodo bird lefties, jumping off to protest that!

  6. Occupy Democrats claim he was white Christian male and a Trump supporter. Are there any other sources that he was a Muslim convert?
