Gates of Vienna News Feed 1/24/2017

Tomorrow President Donald Trump is expected to sign executive orders limiting or cutting off the flow of “refugees” from Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. Mr. Trump will also sign an order to commence the building of the wall on the Mexican border, and another to cut off federal funding to cities that have declared themselves “sanctuaries” for illegal aliens.

In other news, an “Austrian” teenager who was arrested in Germany on terror charges said he had built a test bomb. His arrest was part of a wider sweep that rolled up a terror network in Germany and Austria.

Breaking the Washington Rules

by Diana West

Now at The Daily Caller:

From inner sanctum to inner sanctum, this is the conversation that has been buzzing around the District of Columbia:

So, the Deplorables won an election and sent their man to Washington. Well, now, he’s on our turf and plays by our rules.

Yeah!

So goes the collective thinking of “Washington,” that shining co-op on a hill, where average men and women of above-average ambition and self-esteem have flim-flammed their way through the ballot box, climbed the think tank ladder, or honed the corporate sound-byte to come together in a promised land of uniparty perks and and special kind of firepower, suit-and-tied workers dedicated to preserving that same liberal world order foisted on the American people so very long ago. It was all working like clockwork — Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama — Bush/Clinton … until Trump.

$%^&#(@*)#&$

Sir, Washington Post on the line. OMG, sit down. Ready-steady? OK. Bannon has hired Julia Hahn to work in the White House policy shop!

AAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIEIEEEEEEE!

I know, I know.

He can’t do that! Doesn’t he realize the election is OVER? They’re here. In Washington. It’s OUR backyard. We set the rules. Give me that phone!

This conversation also echoed around Washington of late…

Chuck Schumer Probably Shouldn’t Have Insulted Tom Cotton About Where He Was Eight Years Ago

‘Eight years ago, I was getting my ass shot at in Afghanistan’

Sens. Tom Cotton and Chuck Schumer reportedly got into an angry confrontation on the Senate floor Friday over Senate Democrats delaying the confirmation of Rep. Mike Pompeo for CIA director, The Weekly Standard reports.

Cotton was reportedly irate with Schumer’s delay of the confirmation vote and loudly accosted him on the Senate floor. Schumer retorted that the Senate had never confirmed a CIA director on Inauguration Day, adding that Senate Republicans did not do the same for former President Barack Obama. He continued that Cotton would have known this if he had been in the Senate eight years ago.

“Eight years ago, I was getting my ass shot at in Afghanistan,” Cotton reportedly shot back. He continued, “So don’t talk to me about where I was 8 years ago.” Cotton served two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan in the U.S. Army as a member of the 101st Airborne Division.

Conway Rips ‘Professional Political Hacks’ In Media

(FOX NEWS) Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway told Fox News Monday that reporters covering the West Wing who mock President Donald Trump “ought to think about what they’re really doing.”

“If they snark, if they roll their eyes, if their Twitter feed is filled with 92 percent anti-Trump tweets, they’re not being reporters, they’re being opinion columnists,” Conway told Fox News’sean Hannity in a White House interivew. “They’re being professional political hacks and pundits, and we have a right to call that out.”

DC Police Wore “P***y Hats” In Support of Soros-Linked Protest

Far-left organizations use brainwashed masses as cover to promote their agenda

Several members of the Metropolitan Police Department of DC were observed wearing pink “pussy hats” in support of the Soros-linked anti-Trump “Women’s March” that gripped the capitol following Donald Trump’s inauguration.

The photos, obtained by The Daily Caller, appear to show several police officers assisting people with passing through the crowd of protestors while another group of officers wearing pink “pussy hats” were taking pictures with protestors…

Images of DC police officers wearing attire sympathetic to the protestors are especially telling given reports by Alex Jones and the Infowars field crew that Black Lives Matter protestors were allowed to assault women attempting to pass through ticketing lines for Trump’s inauguration.

While the protests across the country were depicted by the mainstream media as grassroots-inspired “Women’s Marches,” photos and video of the marches show signs promoting many far-left causes, including Black Lives Matter, LGBT rights and climate change.

A report revealed that globalist billionaire George Soros has close relationships with at least 56 of the march’s organizers, including Planned Parenthood, the National Resource Defense Council, MoveOn.org, the National Action Network, the American Civil Liberties Union, Center for Constitutional Rights, Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch.

Linda Sarsour, head of the Arab American Association of New York and a major organizer of the so-called Women’s March on Washington, was observed taking photos with a Salah Sarsour, a member of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee and a former Hamas operative jailed by Israel in the 1990s, at a conference in Chicago last month.

Brock’s super PAC creates “Trump war room” to target administration

David Brock, along with over 100 far-left donors and most of the candidates for chair of the DNC, gathered at a secret conference to plan a campaign of impeachment against President Donald Trump.

Brock, founder of the Soros-funded far-left mouthpiece Media Matters, gathered over one hundred donors for a weekend conference at the Turnberry Isle Resort in Aventura, Florida, just northeast of the city of Miami, to plot an effort to defeat President Donald Trump through impeachment.

According to a confidential 44-page memo obtained by the Washington Free Beacon, Brock argued in favor of using his super PAC, American Bridge, as the main vehicle for the impeachment effort.

Law Professor: Felony Rioting Charges Could Provide Genuine ‘Deterrent Effect’ On Future Anarchists

Professor John Banzhaf, public interest law professor at George Washington University Law School, spoke with Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Monday about inauguration protesters being charged with felony rioting, as reported by Breitbart News. He examined how that could dissuade other violent rioters in the future.

Banzhaf said, “What can be done is changing the tone and saying that when you engage in serious criminal acts which hurt others … this may finally have a reasonable deterrent effect” on future mayhem.

Banzhaf also posted about the potential ramifications of this new prosecutorial approach in what he titled “DC Felony Prosecutions of Inauguration Day Rioters Will Deter Illegal Protests.”

Mystery: Obama’s Favorite Imam Gets to Pray With Trump

It remains a mystery how an imam with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Barack Obama got invited to offer a prayer at the National Prayer Service Saturday after the inauguration of Donald Trump.

President Trump and his wife Melania were in the audience as Imam Mohamed Magid began praying in Arabic from the pulpit of the National Cathedral. He then cited a message from the Quran and translated it to English before walking over and shaking Trump’s hand.

Magid, born and raised in Sudan, is leader of a Shariah-observant mosque in Sterling, Virginia, and is a former president of the Islamic Society of North America. ISNA was created by the Muslim Brotherhood and works in concert with the seditious international organization founded in Egypt in 1928.

The surprise appearance by Magid at Saturday’s prayer breakfast led to an immediate rebuke by Faith Leaders for America, a group of 78 Christian and Jewish leaders who reject any interfaith dialogue with Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated groups. They issued a statement calling on President Trump to declare the Brotherhood a terrorist organization.

Not Satire: Politician Keeps Campaign Promise

Trump wrestles control from Trilateral elite

In an unprecedented move for a politician, President Trump pulled the US out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership after running a campaign to kill the globalist “trade deal.”

Trump signed an executive order to withdraw from the TPP on Monday, stating “it’s a great thing for the American worker, what we just did.”

While the order is a formality — the Senate has not yet ratified the TPP — it effectively kills the treaty’s chances for approval.

Public outrage over the TPP began brewing after both Trump and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) blasted the treaty as harmful to both American workers and labor abroad.

In fact, former President Obama quietly removed an anti-slavery provision from the TPP which would have otherwise prevented countries that engage in slavery, such as Malaysia, from taking part in major trade deals with the U.S.

Obama’s pro-slavery stance actually makes sense because the TPP wasn’t really a trade deal at all but rather an enabling act to allow transnational corporations to dump American workers and erode U.S. economic independence.

This is all part of a program by the Trilateral Commission — who groomed Obama — to secretly seize control of the US government from within with the sole intention of breaking down U.S. national sovereignty and economic might to make way for a “North American Union” much like the EU.

“The Trilateral Commission is international and is intended to be the vehicle for multinational consolidation of the commercial and banking interests by seizing control of the political government of the United States,” warned the late Barry Goldwater. “The Trilateral Commission represents a skillful, coordinated effort to seize control and consolidate the four centers of power — – political, monetary, intellectual and ecclesiastical.”

Roughly two-thirds of the Trilaterals are not U.S. citizens, yet they were still drafting U.S. policy and “trade deals” such as the TPP for their puppets — Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton — to push upon the American public.

It’s no wonder then why the establishment and its media vassals hate Trump.

The last-minute rush to regulate included $41.2 billion worth of final rules issued since the election.

The Renewed Drive to Exit the United Nations

by Tom DeWeese

Nowhere is there mentioned in a single UN document that I have read an advocacy for the right to own private property. In fact, quite the opposite is the case as nearly every UN document, report, working paper, program, treaty, protocol, declaration and resolution is dedicated to the confiscation, redistribution, regulation and tax of someone’s property.

UN reports on reform don’t indicate a simple desire to plug holes in UN spending — or to clear up scandals. Quite the contrary. According to Kofi Annan, Maurice Strong and many others, reform means global governance.

Since its inception, the UN has advocated the desire to eradicate sovereign nations — while imposing what it calls “world-mindedness.” A 1949 UNESCO document said, “nationalism (is) the major obstacle to the development of world-mindedness.” In the 1990’s, Maurice Strong said, “it is not feasible for sovereignty to be exercised unilaterally by individual nation/states, however powerful.”

There in lies the true goal of the United Nations. And that belies its public image as simply a place where nations may come to air their differences and act responsibly. Instead, the UN is openly working to gain power for itself in order to become independent and supreme over its member nations.

To do that it needs the power to tax. On September 19th (2006) plans were approved to begin the creation of a global tax, mostly through airline tickets to help pay for the treatment of aids. They of course euphemistically call it a contribution.

There are several other tax schemes on the UN wish list, including a carbon tax on Co2 emissions, a currency tax on transactions of foreign currency exchanges, and taxes on the Internet, to name a few. If the UN gains the power to tax and the enforcement power necessary to collect them, then the UN will become an unstoppable force in the world. A monster free from its chains.

And, of course, the UN wants its own military. It already has its own court.

These three things; the ability to collect taxes to provide nearly unlimited funds from independent sources; the ability to enforce its will with a military force; and a court system to impose its own brand of justice, are all that is required to create a government.

Imagine a world run by the justice of China, with the economics of Cuba and the military might of the United States. Such is the world of the future under United Nations global governance.

Trump Targets 3 Agencies With Ambitious Budget Cuts

Trump’s budget cuts align in many ways with the Republican Study Committee’s 2017 “Blueprint for a Balanced Budget”

President Donald Trump’s reported plan to gut federal spending by $10.5 trillion over the next decade includes eliminating three iconic agencies defended as cultural mainstays by many Democrats.

The next administration is working on plans to eliminate the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and privatize the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, The Hill reported Thursday.

Combined, the three departments cost around $741 million in 2016, making up a small part of a host of budget reforms needed to cut more than $1 trillion a year from the federal budget.

Watch: Man Punches Antifa in the Face, Police Let Him Go Without Charges

The incident took place Friday during Trump’s inauguration

Incredible video shows a man frustrated with “anti-fascists” blocking a street in Washington DC punch one of them in the face after being attacked.

The incident took place Friday during Trump’s inauguration.

The video starts with an unnamed man, let’s call him Thor, asking the antifa stooges if they’re going to prevent him from “going to work” because they’re “crying b*tches” angry that they “lost.”

“Yeah, pretty much,” a masked female antifa responds.

The female antifa is then heard saying to one of her partners in crime, “c’mon babe, let the ladies through,” at which point they move to let a woman pass. Thor then rushes through behind the woman and turns around and says “f**k you and your roadblock you piece of s**t!”

The female antifa responds by attacking him, at which point he decks her in the face.

“F**king do it again, b*tch,” Thor tells her.

After taking on a whole group of antifa radicals who are seen trying to attack him with a flag pole, one of their members says “you just hit a woman.”

Thor responds, “she don’t look like no woman to me!”

Scotland: Queen’s Chaplain Resigns Amid Backlash Over Criticism of Koran Reading in Church

A Scottish minister, choosing principle over prestige, has resigned his post as “Honorary Chaplain to the Queen of England” after what he called “attempts to silence or defenestrate” him because he dared defend Christianity and condemn Islam. The Reverend Dr. Gavin Ashenden (shown) of the Scottish Episcopal Church announced his resignation as a queen’s chaplain, an honorary position currently held by over 30 individuals, on his website Saturday.

The immediate cause of Ashenden’s resignation after nine years as a queen’s chaplain was the fallout from his recent public statements strongly criticizing the decision to allow a Muslim student to read a passage from the Koran during the Epiphany service at St. Mary’s Cathedral in Glasgow. In a misguided attempt at interfaith dialogue, the church provost actually turned over a portion of a service commemorating the Magi’s visit to the Christ child — the son of God, according to the New Testament — to the reading of the holy book of another faith.

“Then,” Ashenden wrote in a column for the Jersey Evening Post, “just to add the glowing cherry of offence to the iced cake of incompetence, he chose a famous passage in the Koran that repudiates the divinity of Christ. It’s the passage Muslims use when they want to convince Christians that the Gospels are full of lies about Jesus — that they were deceived about him being the Word made flesh, or that he actually rose from the dead.”

Video: Anti-Trump Feminsts Chant “Allahu Akbar” During Protest in Germany

The clip shows demonstrators yelling “pussy grabs back” as they carry signs that say “love trumps hate”.

The footage then cuts to a protest leader with a megaphone who rhythmically chants “Allahu Akbar” underneath a sign that reads “end white supremacy”. One of the “feminists” in the crowd appears emotional during the chant before smiling.

“Allahu Akbar” means “God is great” or “Allah is greater” in Arabic, but it’s better known in the west as a slogan routinely shouted by jihadists as they massacre innocent people during terrorist attacks…

The sight of German feminists chanting in favor of the most anti-woman belief system ever invented is shocking but not that surprising given that their reaction to the mass molestation of German women carried out by migrants in Cologne was to visit the local “refugee” center and hand out roses to many of those same migrants.

German television also routinely plays government commercials that tell its population to “enjoy tolerance” while a blonde German woman dances around in a hijab.

Is the New Star Really a Sign of a Messiah for Israel?

In 2022, approximately five years from now, a new star will appear in the night sky. Scientifically speaking, the appearance of this nova is the product of the collision of two other astral bodies. And for six months this new star will — to the naked eye — be the brightest in the heavens. Given that this is the first time that people will be able to witness a moment like this without technology, it’s a significant event in human history, but it may be much more than that. According to one rabbi, this new star is a sign of the coming of the Messiah.

Rabbi Yosef Berger, a rabbi of King David’s Tomb on Mount Zion, has proposed that the star is a fulfillment of a Biblical prophecy from the book of Numbers, in which a star precedes the arrival of an important military leader: “a star shall come out of Jacob, and a scepter shall rise out of Israel; it shall crush the borderlands of Moab, and the territory of all the Sethites” (NRSV Num 24:17)

The prophecy itself is significant because the speaker is not Moses, the Bible’s quintessential prophet, but Balaam, a historically attested outsider and foreigner. Jacqueline Vayntrub, a biblical studies professor at Brandeis University, told me, “The inclusion of a foreign prophet, Balaam, in a narrative history of Israel is puzzling. But when you realize that the story is about an important, well known foreign prophet who is blessing Israel, it makes a whole lot more sense. Moses, as Israel’s insider, of course wants the best for Israel; but even a famous foreign prophet blessing Israel, now that’s interesting.”

In 2015 there were 18,987 terror attacks in the world, with terrorism being defined as violence committed by “armed non-state groups and individuals”.

The feared terror group ISIS was behind just 18% of all of last year’s recorded attacks worldwide but remains the priority for most western security forces.

Uber Driver Pleads Not Guilty to Raping Woman in Sydney Court

A woman who was allegedly raped by an Uber driver believed she was actually getting into a taxi, a Sydney court has heard.

Muhammad Naveed is charged with having sexual intercourse with the woman without her consent, in his car, after picking her up outside a Kings Cross nightclub in 2015.

He has pleaded not guilty.

Naveed, 41, was employed by Uber, but there has been no suggestion that the woman had booked with the company at the time.

On the opening day of his trial in the NSW District Court, prosecutors told a jury the woman was heavily intoxicated after drinking with friends during the afternoon and evening.

“What she does remember is being in what she believed was a taxi,” crown prosecutor James Trevallion said…

DC Rioters Torched a Limo Owned by a Muslim Immigrant

The riots that occurred on Inauguration Day were supposed to be a protest against President Donald Trump’s racism and xenophobia. Never mind the fact that those things don’t actually exist, the dumbass protesters actually destroyed a limousine owned by a Muslim immigrant. If you are keeping score, Trump has done nothing to Muslims while radical liberal protesters have put a Muslim out nearly $100,000. It’s easy to see why Trump is the villain and liberals are the immigrants’ champions. Not.

If you remember, one of the more striking images from last Friday’s inauguration was a limousine burning in the wake of a violent riot. As it turns out, that limo wasn’t owned by some “evil” racist conservative billionaire.

Trump Expected to Sign Executive Orders on Immigration

U.S. President Donald Trump is expected to sign several executive orders on Wednesday restricting immigration from Syria and six other Middle Eastern or African countries, according to several congressional aides and immigration experts briefed on the matter.

In addition to Syria, Trump’s orders are expected to temporarily restrict access to the United States for most refugees. Another order will block visas from being issued to those from Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen, said the aides and experts, who asked not to be identified.

The restrictions on refugees are likely to include a multi-month ban on admissions from all countries until the State Department and the Department of Homeland Security can make the vetting process more rigorous.

Stephen Legomsky, a former chief counsel at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in the Obama administration, said the president has the authority to limit refugee admissions and the issuance of visas to specific countries if it is determined to be in the public’s interest.

“From a legal standpoint, it would be exactly within his legal rights,” said Legomsky, who now is a professor at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. “But from a policy standpoint it would be terrible idea because there is such an urgent humanitarian need right now for refugees.”

The Republican president was expected to sign the orders at the headquarters of the Department of Homeland Security, whose responsibilities include immigration and border security…

Globalist Researchers Develop “Vaccine” Against “Fake News”

In yet another desperate push to fight alternative media, international researchers claim to have developed a ‘vaccine’ against ‘fake news’ by treating it like a virus that must be ‘inoculated’ to shift public opinion.

“Misinformation can be sticky, spreading and replicating like a virus,” said social psychologist Dr. Sander van der Linden. Therefore, treating information like a virus is the key to preventing its spread.

The research, conducted by globalist-backed elitist universities such as Cambridge and Yale, focused on climate change but this Orwellian model of ‘misinformation inoculation’ can be applied to any subject to prevent the public from spreading it.

The ‘vaccine’ works by having small doses of misinformation embedded with correct information using “distortion tactics used by certain groups,” claims the study, adding that “this ‘inoculation’ helped shift and hold opinions closer to the truth, despite the follow-up exposure to ‘fake news’.”

In other words, these researchers absurdly say that introducing misinformation using “distortion tactics” doesn’t actually distort the news, but makes correct information seem more obvious and self-evident.

That’s like saying adding small doses of manure to your bowl of ice cream makes the ice cream that much tastier.

  1. I really like the proposition to end Schengen. After all, we who voted our countries into the EU did so because it was presented as a free trade and free movement area. The problems discussed then were: “What if the Simulantenbande from the east undercuts western wages, or what about different standards of living and so on… So we simulants from the East had to wait some years just for the Germans to open their trade area to our products and labour – although Germans could straight away go and buy everything worth buying in the East. Well, it is all understandable, it was the price for establishing new FREE TRADE AREA…

So what now? Are we going to lose the one and only thing, that the EU was worth for, and shall we get, as a bonus, a Byzantine Bureaucratic Superstructure choking our trade and movement?

You gotta love the EU 🙂

    • I think many of us forget that all Western nations are heavily in debt, particularly the U.S., and at some point down the road, and according to some, there needs to be a ‘correction’ for which the previous U.S. administration appeared to be planning for that eventuality.

No one country will be able to escape its wrath if it is allowed to occur and Trump appears to be putting many things in place, and in a BIG hurry, it seems to me, to at least reduce the impact of such a ‘correction’, or, he may even be planning to do to the World Bank what should have been done to the World Bank decades ago.

Trump knows how the Globalist system works that causes indebtedness for those who the Globalists consider their financial slaves, so my money is on Trump to do his own ‘correction’ that in the end may benefit all of us.

  2. On that Uber driver in Sydney who now faces jail for raping a female fare, and as the Baron likes to point out, has a Muslim co-efficiency of 100%.

One Nation political party will be contesting the next Queensland state election, I believe sometime this year? One Nation has taken to defending the Taxi-cab industry and will introduce legislation, if elected, to outlaw Uber from operating within that state. As a result of that policy, a promised fighting fund of 23 million dollars will be raised by cab owners in support of One Nation to combat opposing political forces during the next state election.

Now that is a lot of money for any state political party, even those that have been ensconced within the political system for well over one hundred years to be given as a fighting fund.

On that professor, who suggests that charging those domestic terrorists – and who in my opinion soiled their own cause on Trump’s inauguration day, and may I add, that the professor forgot to mention them as such – that the actual arrests, charging and possible jail terms would have a possible deterrent effect on others considering following in those terrorists footsteps, I can only add, that this kind of thinking would have come automatically to anyone with a modicum of an intellect just 30 years ago!

  3. “Tomorrow President Donald Trump is expected to sign executive orders limiting or cutting off the flow of “refugees” from Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. Mr. Trump will also sign an order to commence the building of the wall on the Mexican border, and another to cut off federal funding to cities that have declared themselves “sanctuaries” for illegal aliens.”

I am struggling to cogitate the fact that The Donald seems to be carrying out exactly what he promised.

    What a novel trend setter.

    • Mr. Trump seems to be willing to enact the principle of “go for broke.” (Seems like personally he’s done that before. )

It’s quite reasonable. One only needs to remember the Twin Towers _vividly_ like someone who owns big buildings might (especially if such includes personal office space).

    • I am disappointed that Saudi Arabia is not on that list. I guess the Bushes still need to access to their bosses.

        • Indeed. The Saudis are a problem, but not in terms of direct refugee flow.

I, for one, have nothing against the (fairly rare) “typical” Saudi refugee: a woman who doesn’t want to live under gender apartheid, or a Muslim “apostate”. Such people I welcome with open arms: they’ve very much on our side.

    • I know!

This makes ALL of his other flaws forgivable, really.

A pol who actually tries to do some – not even all! – of what he said he’d do.

Shocking, in the age of the New World Order!

      GO DONALD GO
