Gates of Vienna News Feed 12/12/2016

After a video of the crime went viral, two private citizens in Berlin put up thousands of euros as a reward for any information leading to the arrest of the man who kicked a woman down the stairs of the subway. In a possible response to the reward offered, police have now arrested and are questioning a suspect who they believe was one of the companions of the man who attacked the woman.

In other news, eleven people have been arrested in France on suspicion of providing logistical support, including arms, to the Bastille Day truck jihad killer Mohamed Bouhlel.

Two New Jersey Traders Arrested for Manipulating $10 Billion Worth of Stocks, Making $26 Million in Profit

The SEC continued its crackdown against market-manipulating masterminds today, when it charged two New Jersey-based traders, 37-year-old Joseph Taub, of Clifton, and 21-year-old Elazar Shmalo of Passaic, with manipulating more than 2,000 NYSE and NASDAQ-traded stocks and reaping more than $26 million in profits from their successful trades.

The duo is accused by both the SEC and the NJ Attorney’s Office of manipulating more than 23,000 trades, buying and selling $10 billion worth of securities and making more than $26 million in illegal profits, usually through “two or more trading accounts that bought and sold the same lightly traded stock on the same day during the same period of time,” U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman said in a statement.

In the complaint, the DOJ charges the two traders of engaging in “a scheme to place numerous buy and sell orders for specifically targeted, lightly traded securities in a coordinated fashion that allowed them to manipulate the price to their advantage. Over a period of years, they manipulated $10 billion worth of securities in this way, pocketing $26 million in illicit profits at the expense of other investors. The charges we filed today are part of our continuing effort to hold accountable those who would try to illegally tilt the playing field in their own favor.”

“The trading manipulations usually lasted just a few minutes each, during which time the conspirators sometimes controlled at least 80 percent of the volume of a targeted stock and traded in several accounts simultaneously,” Fishman said.

The SEC alleged that Taub and Shmalo “schemed dozens of times per trading day to artificially move stock prices for their personal benefit,” Andrew Calamari, director of the agency’s New York regional office said in a statement.

Big, Very Rich and Dangerous: Time to Rein in Private Charitable Foundations

Together, private and public charitable foundations are apparently sitting on trillions of dollars of assets.

These organizations have grown to massive size — and are poorly, if at all, regulated. Instead of meeting the charitable needs of citizens that government funds were inadequate to provide for, foundations are regularly being misused to fund organizations and outfits antithetical to our best interests, disenfranchising us and working at cross purposes to the desires and beliefs of most Americans. The achievements of a few big foundations include undermining the war on terror, Balkanizing our universities and society, lobbying for open borders, and undermining our economy with radical environmentalism. –

The most egregious offenders in terms of size seem to be those foundations categorized as private “non operating foundations” such as the Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Clinton Foundation — which exist primarily to give grants to others, and it will be these to which I refer here. (Operating foundations function rather like public charities, providing direct support to a school, a hospital, or another specific charitable program, and are not the subject of this article.)

The Foundations that are my focus are those like the Tides Foundation, Rockefeller Brothers Fund and the Ford Foundation. Evidence of their anti-democratic, anti-American, anti-capitalist, anti-Israeli activities is copious and well documented.

Burning Man Just Moved One Step Closer to Becoming a Religion

Burning Man, the Nevada desert festival that draws some 60,000 revelers every year, is an annual pilgrimage that resembles religious ritual: It requires travel to a far-off place in the desert, 10 guiding social laws intended to catalyze self-actualization, and the burning of an effigy.

Yesterday (December 6) the festival’s co-founder Larry Harvey made clear that Burning Man is now closer to becoming a religion than ever before. In a blogpost, he announced that the 2017 theme would be “Radical Ritual,” writing that “beyond the dogmas, creeds, and metaphysical ideas of religion, there is immediate experience. It is from this primal world that living faith arises. In 2017, we will invite participants to create interactive rites, ritual processions, elaborate images, shrines, icons, temples, and visions.”

Harvey explained that for the first time, the effigy for which Burning Man is named would be enclosed in a temple structure and reach up toward the sky with a spire: “Passing through the spine of Burning Man, this axis will continue upward, emerging high above the temple as a golden spire. Participants are invited to contribute to this shrine, and to the hundred niches that will penetrate the temple’s walls.”

CIA Concludes Russia Interfered to Help Trump Win Election, Say Reports

US intelligence agencies have concluded that Russia interfered in last month’s presidential election to boost Donald Trump’s bid for the White House, according to reports.

A secret CIA assessment found that Russian operatives covertly interfered in the election campaign in an attempt to ensure the Republican candidate’s victory, the Washington Post reported, citing officials briefed on the matter.

A separate report in the New York Times said intelligence officials had a “high confidence” that Russia was involved in hacking related to the election.

The claims immediately drew a stinging rebuke from the president-elect’s transition team, which said in a statement: “These are the same people that said Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction.”

According to the Post’s report, officials briefed on the matter were told that intelligence agencies had found that individuals linked to the Russian government had provided WikiLeaks with thousands of confidential emails stolen from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and others.

They told the paper that the people involved were known to US intelligence and acted as part of a Russian operation to boost Trump and hurt the chances of the Democratic candidate, Hillary Clinton. “It is the assessment of the intelligence community that Russia’s goal here was to favour one candidate over the other, to help Trump get elected,” one said…

Completed Wisconsin Recount Widens Donald Trump’s Lead by 131 Votes

Wisconsin’s historic presidential recount ended Monday resulting in a net gain of 131 votes for President-elect Donald Trump over Democrat Hillary Clinton, the Wisconsin Elections Commission.

The recount resulted in a net increase of 837 ballots for a total of 2.976 million. Clinton and Trump added 1,557 votes to their total. The last statewide recount in a 2011 Supreme Court race resulted in a net change of 312 votes for the top two candidates out of 1.5 million ballots cast.

Trump gained 844 votes from the recount and Clinton gained 713 votes. Trump won the state by 22,748 votes.

“Completing this recount was a challenge, but the real winners are the voters,” WEC chairman Mark Thomsen said in a statement after signing off on the statewide results. “Based on the recount, they can have confidence that Wisconsin’s election results accurately reflect the will of the people, regardless of whether they are counted by hand or by machine.”

The commission originally advised county clerks to complete their recount process by 8 p.m. Monday so it could certify the results on Tuesday, the last day federal law guarantees a state’s electoral votes will reflect the popular vote when the Electoral College convenes on Dec. 19.

On Monday the Board of Canvassers in the final four counties — Dane, Milwaukee, Outagamie and Rock — certified their results. Dane County was the last to complete ballot-counting on Saturday night.

The recount of nearly 3 million votes began Dec. 1 after Green Party candidate Jill Stein paid the estimated $3.5 million cost.

The actual cost won’t be known until counties report their costs by Dec. 30. Stein will be responsible for paying any amount over the original estimate and will be refunded if the cost is less…

Democratic Congressman: Electors Should Consider ‘Foreign Interference’ Reports Before Casting Votes

“I believe the electors have the right to consider that.”

NEW YORK — Members of the Electoral College should have the right to consider the alleged impact of Russian interference in the U.S. presidential election when they cast their votes on December 19, a Democratic congressman has asserted.

“To the extent that foreign interference in the United States presidential elections may have influenced the final result, I believe the electors have the right to consider that,” Rep. David Cicilline (D-R.I.) told POLITICO in a statement on Saturday.

Exclusive: Top U.S. Spy Agency Has Not Embraced CIA Assessment on Russia Hacking — Sources

The overseers of the U.S. intelligence community have not embraced a CIA assessment that Russian cyber attacks were aimed at helping Republican President-elect Donald Trump win the 2016 election, three American officials said on Monday.

While the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) does not dispute the CIA’s analysis of Russian hacking operations, it has not endorsed their assessment because of a lack of conclusive evidence that Moscow intended to boost Trump over Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton, said the officials, who declined to be named.

The position of the ODNI, which oversees the 17 agency-strong U.S. intelligence community, could give Trump fresh ammunition to dispute the CIA assessment, which he rejected as “ridiculous” in weekend remarks, and press his assertion that no evidence implicates Russia in the cyber attacks.

Trump’s rejection of the CIA’s judgment marks the latest in a string of disputes over Russia’s international conduct that have erupted between the president-elect and the intelligence community he will soon command.

FBI Disputes CIA’s “Fuzzy and Ambiguous” Claims That Russia Sought to Influence Presidential Election

Since election day, Democrats have engaged in a panicked attempt to leverage their last couple of weeks in control of the executive branch to delegitimize the Trump presidency. Obama has even gone so far as to order a “full report” on Russian tampering in the 2016 election cycle to be completed before he leaves office (see “A “Soft Coup” Attempt: Furious Trump Slams “Secret” CIA Report Russia Helped Him Win”). Of course, we should simply ignore the fact that a true investigation of such allegations would take much longer than the one month that Obama has left in office because any delay could run the risk of a bipartisan/independent review and that’s just not how the Obama administration plays the game.

But at least one investigative agency, the FBI, isn’t buying the “fuzzy and ambiguous” assertions from the CIA that Russia “quite” clearly meddled in the U.S. elections on behalf of the Trump campaign. Meanwhile, the FBI’s unwillingness to play along is infuriating Democrats. Per the BizPac Review:

The Clarion Project has obtained newly-declassified FBI documents from 2003 revealing that the jihadist cult Jamaat ul-Fuqra, also known as Muslims of America (MOA), had ties with al-Qaeda in Pakistan. The group is best known for its network of about 22 Islamist compounds on American soil.

The disclosures come on the heels of the release of the Fuqra Files website, an authoritative database of information about the group.

Former UK Ambassador: ‘I Met the DNC Leaker and He Isn’t Russian’

Craig Murray calls “b******t” on CIA claims

Former UK ambassador Craig Murray is calling “bullsh*t” on claims that Russia hacked the DNC in an effort to help Donald Trump win the election, asserting that he met the DNC leaker and that he wasn’t Russian.

Despite the Washington Post admitting that there was no conclusive evidence the Kremlin directed the hacker who leaked the DNC emails and the subsequent Podesta emails, the mainstream media is going wild with the baseless conspiracy theory that Putin helped Trump defeat Clinton in a bid to de-legitimize Trump or even force another vote.

“I know who leaked them,” Murray told the Guardian. “I’ve met the person who leaked them, and they are certainly not Russian and it’s an insider.”

Murray points out that the DNC emails were leaked not hacked, by an insider who was most likely upset at Clinton and the DNC rigging the primary against Bernie Sanders.

Historic Christian Church to be Converted Into Mosque; Members Take Down Cross From Altar

A Christian congregation in Connecticut that dates back to the 1600s has sold its church building to a Muslim group that plans to turn the building into a mosque.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the historic United Congregational Church will sell its 1920s Georgian-Revival style church building to the Bridgeport Islamic Community Center for a price of $1 million.

The church dates back to the Colonial Era, when it was founded in 1695 as the Ecclesiastical Society of Stratfield. In 1916, the congregation merged with another congregation and officially became the United Congregational Church. Although the congregation once totalled over 3,000 members when the main church building was constructed, WSJ reports that the congregation total has dwindled to just 300.

President Trump, Heritage Foundation is the Controlled Opposition

By Kelleigh Nelson

Don’t fear the enemy who attacks you, but the fake friend who hugs you.

“The top men of the Heritage Foundation, first Weyrich, then Ed Feulner, and now Jim DeMint, with the trust and cooperation of masses of sincerely committed conservatives, have been in a position to further elitist Rockefeller goals”

In my last article, I documented Heritage Foundation’s drafting and promotion of job destroying NAFTA, but Heritage is also responsible for many other ills that American citizens face today, including healthcare and education.

Who Funds Heritage

Heritage is not required to disclose its donors, but according to a Media Transparency report in 2006, donors have included the John M. Olin Foundation, the Castle Rock Foundation, the Richard and Helen DeVos Foundation (founders of Amway and father-in-law to newly appointed Education Secretary, Betsy DeVos), Bradley Foundation (board members include Federal Reserve and CFR members), the Koch Brothers and Claude Lambe Foundation, and Richard Mellon Scaife, who gave over $30 million to Heritage.

Scaife supported abortion, and paid for a full-page ad in the WSJ in 2011, “From the Desk of Richard M. Scaife — An Open Letter to Fellow Conservatives: Why Conservatives Should Oppose Efforts to Defund Planned Parenthood.” His mother was a good friend of Planned Parenthood founder, Margaret Sanger, and had her in for tea every Sunday afternoon.

The list of President Trump’s Supreme Court justices was culled with the aid of the Heritage Foundation and Federalist Society. Only two justices on the list are truly pro-life. There are now 38 signees on the Coalition Letter on the Pledge for a Pro-Life Nomination for Justice Scalia’s Seat on the Supreme Court.

Over the past 25 years, Heritage has also been funded by private foundations such as Pew Charitable Trust which also funded many GOALS 2000 initiatives. Bill Clinton signed the Goals 2000 law on March 31, 1994, creating new education bureaucracies and facilitating federal control of local education institutions. William Greider’s bestseller, Who Will Tell the People: The Betrayal of American Democracy reveals other benefactors: “Heritage received grants from Amoco, General Motors, Chase Manhattan Bank (David Rockefeller) and right-wing foundations like Olin and Bradley.”

Heritage and National Healthcare

As John Adams said, “Facts are stubborn things.” Heritage has promoted much that is anathema to our Constitution. Let’s look at the facts…

Education researcher Chey Simonton states in her article on the Rockefeller/Heritage Connection,

“The top men of the Heritage Foundation, first Weyrich, then Ed Feulner, and now Jim DeMint, with the trust and cooperation of masses of sincerely committed conservatives, have been in a position to further elitist Rockefeller goals. (These are the Rockefeller Republicans Phyllis Schlafly called the Kingmakers, in her book, “A Choice Not an Echo.”) Along with radical World Government advocate, Walter Hoffman of the World Federalist Association, they participated on the 16 member U.S. Commission on Improving the Effectiveness of the United Nations. Working with the US Information Agency, Feulner also participated in facilitating the infamous 1985 US-Soviet Education Technology and Cultural Exchange Agreement. Soviet pedagogy, based on behavioral conditioning for a compliant collective labor force, is a dream come true for the dozens of multinational corporations funding all the think tanks promoting American education reform. The humanist Carnegie Foundation, a century-long collaborator with Rockefeller philanthropy, facilitated the Soviet side of this Exchange Agreement.”

Remember, in 1934, the Carnegie Corporation called for a shift from free enterprise to collectivism. They wanted the Soviet planned economy. [Link]

Pro-Trump Rebel Artist Terrorizes Hollywood Sjws at “Rogue One” Premiere

#DumpStarWars backlash reaches Hollywood’s doorstep

“Rogue Won” faux movie advertisements were strategically erected under cover of darkness just prior to this weekend’s Rogue One world premiere at the Pantages Theater in Los Angeles, California.

Conservative street artist Sabo claimed responsibility for the attacks, which were aimed directly at cultural marxists and divisive leftist drones whose hijacking of Hollywood has finally met with resistance from Americans sick of political correctness…

The #DumpStarWars campaign has picked up serious steam, being retweeted 120,000 times in a 24 hour span, since at least two of the writers on the film emerged as avid social justice warriors and anti-Trumpers. Both Chris Weitz and Gary Whitta have taken to the kind of moral preening that almost only seems appropriate and logical to the delusional inhabitants of suffocatingly tiny intellectual bubbles.

Shortly after Donald Trump won the presidential election, Weitz drew a correlation between the ‘Empire’ from Star Wars, and Trump and his supporters, declaring, “Please note that the Empire is a white supremacist (human) organization.” Whitta added on, “Opposed by a multicultural group led by brave women.” Both Tweets have since been deleted…

Sabo brought the fight to Hollywood’s doorstep on Saturday, waging his infamous brand of guerrilla art warfare in anticipation of the ‘star-studded’ event.

“To think: Hillary had just about every facet of the media pulling for her. I’d never seen the mainstream media sell their souls for a candidate the way they did for Hillary, and she still lost,” Sabo said. “It does my heart well to know Hollywood went all out producing all kinds of girl-power movies in anticipation of the first woman president only to have their parade totally rained on by a white-skinned, blue-eyed, all-America loving, pussy-grabbing blowhard of a man’s man.”

Secret Agenda: Are They Planning to Use ‘Russian Interference’ As an Excuse to Invalidate Trump’s Election Victory?

There are several ways that this could work, and we’ll take it one step at a time

It has been said that nothing happens by accident in politics, and it is certainly no accident that Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, members of the U.S. Senate and the mainstream media are all suddenly buzzing about “Russian hacking” and “Russian interference” in our elections.

Over the past 48 hours, the Washington Post, the New York Times, and just about every other major news source in America has been breathlessly telling us that the CIA has concluded that the Russians “intervened” in the presidential election with the specific goal of helping Donald Trump win. The implication is that if the Russian interference was significant enough, it could have “unfairly” altered the outcome of the election and thus Donald Trump’s victory was not legitimate. And if his victory was not legitimate, that opens up all sorts of possibilities for the Democrats.

For those that have been wondering if the establishment was going to attempt to steal the presidency away from Donald Trump before he can be inaugurated, we now appear to have our answer.

Terror-Linked Imam Fighting to Stay in U.S.

A terror-linked imam who previously was given permission to stay in the United States is facing a further battle, as an appeals court has returned the case to be re-evaluated.

The case against Mohammad Qatanani, the imam at the Islamic Center of Passaic County in New Jersey, is one of two in which Muslims are actively fighting plans by the United States to return them to their country of origin.

The second case involves a woman who was convicted of terrorist bombings in Israel and failed to mention that fact when she applied for and obtained permission to stay in America. A new trial is to be held in that case.

The reports on Qatanani come from the Investigative Project on Terrorism, which said the imam has been the subject of deportation efforts since 2006 when he was found allegedly to have failed to disclose his connections with Hamas when he applied for U.S. residency permission.

When he came to the U.S. he claimed he never had been arrested or belonged to any terror group.

Trump’s Handling of World Leaders, Including China, an Art

He is upsetting the establishment’s apple cart, and positioning the United States to divorce globalist conditioning, and reestablish our sovereignty

I am thoroughly enjoying watching Trump make the establishment, the media, and the Never Trump jerks squirm. They don’t understand him, and are trying to criticize his every move, and in the end Trump will likely make them all look like chumps.

While the opponents of Donald Trump fail to understand his moves, and are all over the place trying to make him look bad, the truth is to understand Donald Trump’s “unorthodox” methods is as simple as turning a page.

In other words, if they were to read his book, “The Art of the Deal,” they’d understand what Trump is up to.

But, they’d rather squirm and complain and scream and shout in ignorance.

Some of those knuckleheads, especially the so-called economic minds, are attacking Trump over his threat of tariffs and his manhandling of China. These are the same people who believe that Smoot-Hawley, an act sponsored by Senator Reed Smoot and Representative Willis C. Hawley and signed into law on June 17, 1930 (an act that raised U.S. tariffs on over 20,000 imported goods to record levels), was the cause of the Great Depression, and therefore if Donald Trump chases higher tariffs as he’s been promising it will cause a trade war similar to what plunged the world into an unrelenting global depressionary period.

While the raised tariffs did not help, and may have played a role in worsening the Great Depression, the “trade war” was not the cause. The cause of the Great Depression was the Federal Reserve, and the manipulation of currency by international bankers. As for the worsening of the Great Depression, Hoover and Franklin Delano Roosevelt took care of that themselves, with failed keynesian economic tactics that included higher federal spending, and a gluttony of public works programs that did nothing but lengthen the depression an additional seven years. While historians claim World War II is what brought us out of the depression, it was actually the sudden entreprenurial spirit of Americans as the men returned, and the war became nothing more than a nightmarish memory.

Trump: Claims of Russian Interference in 2016 Race ‘Ridiculous, ‘ Dems Making Excuses

President-elect Donald Trump, in an exclusive interview with “Fox News Sunday,” decried as “ridiculous” the CIA’s reported assessment that Russia intervened in the election to boost his candidacy — describing the claim as another “excuse” pushed by Democrats to explain his upset victory.

Wisconsin finalized its recount, which showed Trump beating Clinton by more than 22,000 votes, on the same day that a federal judge issued a stinging rejection of a Green Party-backed request to recount paper ballots in Pennsylvania’s presidential election and scan some counties’ election systems for signs of hacking.

Later Monday, Pennsylvania certified the state’s results in the Nov. 8 election, which saw Trump defeat Clinton by more than 44,000 votes.

Green Party candidate Jill Stein successfully requested, and paid for, the Wisconsin recount.

‘Europa’ Is New Landmark in Brussels’ EU District

Brussels has a new landmark building. The new edifice at the heart of Brussels’ European district will accommodate EU summit meetings starting next year.

The new building, appropriately called ‘Europa’, cost 315 million euros to build. It will be used to replace the Justus Lipsius Building that has served as the location for EU summits for the past fifteen years. That building that retains its other functions was never intended as a location for the summits and as a result space was at a premium.

Europe: Illegal to Criticize Islam

by Judith Bergman

While Geert Wilders was being prosecuted in the Netherlands for talking about “fewer Moroccans” during an election campaign, a state-funded watchdog group says that threatening homosexuals with burning, decapitation and slaughter is just fine, so long as it is Muslims who are making those threats, as the Quran tells them that such behavior is mandated.

In Finland, since the court’s decision, citizens are now required to make a distinction, entirely fictitious, between “Islam” and “radical Islam,” or else they may find themselves prosecuted and fined for “slandering and insulting adherents of the Islamic faith.”

France: Eleven Men Questioned Over Nice Terrorist Attack

French police on Monday detained 11 men suspected of helping the perpetrator of the terrorist attack in Nice in July that left 86 people dead.

Police held ten suspects in Nice and one in Nantes on suspicion of supplying logistical assistance and arms, a source close to the investigation told BFMTV.

The arrests come five months after Tunisian extremist Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel ploughed a 19-tonne truck into a crowd on the Nice seafront, further traumatising a country reeling from a series of jihadist attacks.

The victims from 19 different countries were watching a fireworks display on the Bastille Day public holiday. Over 400 people were injured.

French Police Detain 11 in Bastille Day Truck Attack in Nice

French police have detained 11 people suspected of providing logistical support, including arms, to the Tunisian who drove his 19-ton truck into a crowd of Nice revelers on Bastille Day, killing 86.

A judicial official says that 10 of the arrests were made Monday morning in the southeastern city and an 11th suspect was arrested in Nantes, in western France.

Agnes Thibault-Lecuivre of the Paris prosecutor’s office, which handles terrorism cases, said some of those arrested were from eastern Europe, notably Albania. Among other things, they are suspected of a role in supplying arms.

More than a dozen people linked to attacker Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel have previously been arrested since the July 14 attack on the famed Promenade des Anglais.

The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attack.

Germany: Berlin’s New Secretary of State is Pro-Sharia Law Conservative Muslim

Has said their Germans’ views towards foreigners made them fundamentally un-German

The daughter of Palestinian immigrants is to be the Berlin senate’s secretary of state for coordinating federal and state affairs, but attention has focused on her recent remarks in support of Sharia law.

Berlin state senate member, former deputy speaker for foreign affairs and Muslim rising star of German politics Sawsan Chebli is to get a new cabinet post. The appointment by the Red-Red-Green coalition government has caused concern after a recent interview in which she expressed her view that Sharia law was perfectly compatible with secular German society.

Speaking back in August alongside Berlin Social Democrat party Mayor Michael Muller, she not only defended Sharia law against suspicion by many Germans who she accused of not understanding what it meant, but she also went on the attack too. Criticising members of anti-mass migration party Alternative for German (AfD), she said their views towards foreigners made them fundamentally un-German.

Speaking to the Franzfurter Allgeimeine Zeitung, she said: “My father is a pious Muslim, hardly speaks German, can neither read nor write, but he is more integrated than many functionaries of the AfD who question our constitution”.

Germany: Cologne on Edge Ahead of New Year’s Eve Celebrations

Police in Cologne will hold a series of press conferences to present new technologies and strategies meant to prevent further sex mob attacks in public places following last year’s mass-scale New Year’s Eve assaults.

In total, nearly 1,200 criminal complaints, including about 500 related to sexual assault, were made to police after New Year’s Eve. But 124 of the 267 criminal investigations that have followed have been suspended because of a lack of evidence or because the suspects cannot be found, Cologne’s prosecutor’s office told the German news agency dpa.

Germany: Cologne to Have 10 Times More Police for New Year’s Eve Party

City officials plan to have more than ten times the number of officers that they did last year on patrol for the upcoming New Year’s Eve celebration, hoping to prevent the spate of crimes committed last year.

Cologne officials on Monday released details of their security plan for the upcoming 2017 New Year’s festivities, including having a much larger force of police officers on patrol.

This year around 1,500 officers will be deployed, which is more than ten times the amount who were supposed to be on duty last year. There will also be 600 public order officers and “significantly more” private security workers, a city spokeswoman said without giving an exact number.

After more than 1,000 women reported being robbed or sexually assaulted or both on New Year’s Eve 2016, Cologne police came under fire for their handling of the events, accused of covering up the refugee background of attackers as well as the details of the attacks, and not providing sufficient security.

Number of Potential Female Jihadists in Austria Higher Than Expected

Jihadism in Austria is an issue that evidently also affects women. According to a survey conducted by the Austrian Green Party via the Ministry of the Interior, over 280 people revealed that they either planned to or had already traveled to IS conflict zones in Syria and Iraq to join groups engaged in active combat.

Of those who responded to the questionnaire, 59 were female and the remaining 221 were male. On the day the survey closed, 87 people were known to have returned to Austria from one of these perilous areas — 13 of these being women. 50 of the survey participants reported that they had been prevented from leaving the country for such perceived reasons, 22 being women.

Women’s laureate Berivan Aslan expressed surprise and shock at the high number of women. “The number is unpleasant. I did not expect the percentage of female IS-sympathisers to be as high as 21 percent.” She pointed out in a statement to the APA that in Belgium, where the jihadist scene is considerably larger, the proportion women is only 17 percent.

Smallpox Found in Lithuanian Mummy Could Rewrite Virus’ History

The mummy of a child discovered in a crypt beneath a Lithuanian church harbors the oldest sample found to date of the virus that causes smallpox, a new report said.

But the researchers’ analysis of the virus, called the variola virus, suggests that smallpox first appeared in humans much more recently than thought, the researchers said. Scientists had thought that smallpox was an ancient disease that plagued humanity for millennia.

The researchers drew their conclusion by taking virus from the mummy of the child, who lived between 1643 and 1665, and comparing that strain against variola viruses that date to the mid-1900s. The differences, or mutations, that the researchers found suggest that the strains shared a common ancestor that first arose between 1588 and 1645, the researchers said. That time period was filled with human exploration, migration and colonization — activities that could have spread the virus worldwide, the researchers noted.

UK: Battersea Ferrari Crash Injures Seven People After Car Smashes Into Pedestrians

The red sports car is said to have sent at least one of the pedestrians ‘flying over the railings’ of a bridge just yards from Battersea Dogs Home in Battersea Park Road (pictured), south-west London, this morning.

Seven teenagers have been hurt including one who was thrown 50ft off a bridge and through the rear window of a car after a racing Ferrari mounted the pavement and ploughed into pedestrians, eyewitnesses claim.

The £250,000 red sports car is said to have sent one boy ‘flying over the railings’ and onto a Toyota Corolla parked in the street below.

Paramedics battled to save the boy’s life while six others suffered broken bones.

The seven teenagers, all aged around 16, were on their way to a college Christmas party in Southwest London and were walking near Battersea Dogs Home around 10.30am.

The driver stopped at the scene and has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He was taken to a west London police station, where he remains.

Attack That Killed 24 at Christian Church Was Suicide Bombing, Egypt’s President Says

Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi said Monday that a suicide bomber caused the blast that killed 24 Christians during Sunday Mass at a Cairo chapel adjacent to St. Mark’s Cathedral, the seat of Egypt’s ancient Coptic Orthodox Church.

It was among the deadliest attacks to ever target Egypt’s Coptic minority, which makes up around 10 percent of the country’s population and strongly supported the military overthrow of an elected Islamist president in 2013, which was led by el-Sissi.

Since then, Islamic militants have carried out scores of attacks mainly targeting the security forces, while the government has waged a wide-scale crackdown on dissent.

How Algeria Could Destroy the EU

When President Bouteflika dies, the Islamists will try to seize power, and Europe will face another refugee crisis

It is more than possible that before any Brexit deal is discussed, let alone concluded, the EU will have effectively collapsed. And the key factor could be the demise of Algeria’s leader of 17 years. President Abdelaziz Bouteflika is 79 and has needed a wheelchair since having a stroke in 2013. ‘His mind is even more infirm than his body,’ one observer tells me. Bouteflika returned home recently after a week’s stay at a private clinic in France. His prognosis isn’t good.

Officially, Bouteflika underwent standard ‘periodic medical tests’ in Grenoble. But no one believes this. Among people who know Algeria well, there is little doubt that he is severely incapacitated and does not have much time left. That means that his regime does not have much time left either. The consequences of that will stretch far beyond Algeria.

When Bouteflika goes, Algeria will probably implode. The Islamists who have been kept at bay by his iron hand will exploit the vacuum. Tensions that have been buried since the civil war will re-emerge. And then Europe could be overwhelmed by another great wave of refugees from North Africa.

Yet almost no one outside Algeria is remotely aware of what is about to happen. Other, that is, than western intelligence agencies. They may have been caught un-awares by the misnamed Arab Spring in 2011, but they are all too aware of what is on the cards in Algeria. Behind the scenes, governments are readying themselves for another civil war — and its consequences.

It was only 24 years ago that 150,000 died in an Algerian civil war between the Islamists and the state. This time, things will be far more bloody, not least because of the development of armed Islamism over the past few years.

Some observers have mistaken the decline in electoral success of Islamist parties as evidence of the decline of Islamism within Algeria. El-Islah, Ennahda and the Movement of Society and Peace have fractured and split. In the 2012 elections, they tried coming together as the Green Algeria Alliance but still managed to win only 48 out of 462 seats in parliament.

This is deeply misleading. Islamist leaders have switched tactics. Long ago they realised they cannot win through the ballot, so they have been using other means. As self-proclaimed guardians of public morality, they have campaigned to ensure the school curriculum is focused on ‘Islamic science’ and used their communal influence to try to stop the government changing the ‘family code’, which keeps women under the ‘guardianship’ of men. They have had fatwas issued demanding that ministries ensure women wear veils and men grow beards, and last year attempted — albeit unsuccessfully — to block a bill that criminalised violence against women…

Fundamental Mistakes by Syrian Forces Led to Occupation of Palmyra by ISIS Terrorists

Government forces are now regrouping and deploying reinforcements in the area west of Palmyra and conducting a pre-emptive shelling of ISIS units before the counter-attack.

ISIS has a 4,000-strong attack force in the area and is readying to continue the advance. In Palmyra it has seized a high number of military equipment from government forces and Russian military advisers.

The breakthrough and rapid advancement of the ISIS took place due to fundamental mistakes of commanders of units of the Syrian Army and the NDF, deployed in the Palmyra area, who just let their guard down. They did not pay due attention to fortification activities, processes of equipping positions with engineering and combat hardware, as well as were carelessness during tactical reconnaissance and assessment of the forces and means of attackers. As a result, commanders did not report the all necessary information to the higher command in Damascus on time, thereby, deluding it. However, this fact does not remove the responsibility from the central command and the Russian assist and advise mission.

There are several reasons, which explain the emergence of so many mistakes at one and the same time:

Head of HeatSt, Louise Mensch, Calls for Obama to Conduct Air Strikes Against Russia

This is all getting perfectly out of hand. How to best explain this one? Let’s see if I can do it in less than 500 words.

Louise Mensch runs a conservative ‘up and coming’start up website called HeatSt. They are owned by News Corp under the large umbrella of Dow Jones. In other words, not so start up. Also, and it’s worth noting, HeatSt is the very definition of controlled opposition. HeatSt has the look and feel of being spartan and authentic, but under its deceptive facade are corporate cucks toiling away for globalism.

Louise was outed during the Presidential campaign for being a shill, who worked in private for the Clinton campaign. Her followers were quite shaken about that and let her know it by giving her hell on Twitter.

I suppose being a liar and deceiving her audience wasn’t enough for Louise. Now she wants WORLD WAR 3, literally — all because her little email was hacked into and she was outed for being a duplicitous mountebank.

Her Twitter feed reads like an insane anti-Putin screed by a would-be serial killer. But I managed to cobble together the money shots — courtesy of The Donald.

Louise is a former British MP living in the states, with a keen interest in making American bleed. It’s a wonderful thing when emotions cause people to reveal who they truly are.

India’s “War on Cash”: The Demonetization Blitzkrieg. The “Ice Nine” Solution

This war has been in full swing in Europe and the U.S. for a long time. Governments plan to use negative interest rates, confiscatory taxes and other techniques to rob savers of their wealth. In order to do this, they have to force savings into digital accounts at large government-controlled banks. As long as savers can hold cash, they can avoid many of these confiscation techniques. Therefore, governments must eliminate cash. Jim Rickards- author of The Road to Ruin.

The demonetization blitzkrieg of the NDA government was served to the unsuspecting Indian public as a moral crusade to destroy the twin evils of black money and counterfeit notes. But as the days went by the stated objects of the demonetization fell apart and the government did a series of embarrassing flip flops to put forth the view that the object was to usher in a cashless society where the digitally baptized citizens would swipe their plastic cards and waft to and fro in digital wallets with consummate ease.If the overt objectives of the demonetization, i.e eradication of black money and counterfeit notes were indeed laughable, then other concerns about its covert objectives gave rise to legitimate concerns. What then is the hidden agenda of the demonetization exercise?

The Horror of Fukushima Can No Longer be Called a Conspiracy Theory

Fukushima Five Years Later: “The Fuel Rods Melted Through Containment And Nobody Knows Where They Are Now”

I’ve done several columns on it, the last one: Unimaginable Carnage From Fukushima Killing Pacific Ocean. As expected my email box dumped a few dozen opinions that appear to be a joint effort all saying the same thing: It’s a stupid conspiracy, the government would tell us if there is a problem, blah, blah, blah.

Ah, yes, the government that lies every time one of their mouthpieces opens the pie hole in his/her face. And the tightly controlled media who have been peddling Soviet-style lies and propaganda longer than I’ve been alive. Think promoting career criminal, Hillary Clinton, and her fairy tale about a video causing the slaughter at Benghazi and when she allegedly came under sniper fire in Bosnia and had to run for her life. A huge whopper. That media that now owns the latest ‘fake news’ blow up they’re trying to pin on the truth media. That would be web sites like Newswithviews and others.

On this issue, FOX has been little better covering the on-going destruction from Fukushima with only the initial ‘when it bleeds it leads’ and eventually went away. All done, move on, nothing to see here — or is there?

The other day I read a short piece about a sea lion jumping into a boat looking for fish. Some might think it’s cute but it’s heart breaking because sea lions and other ocean creatures in the Pacific Ocean have been starving to death the past few years. I thoroughly cover this in my book, Taking Politics Out of Solutions. The chapter on Fukushima is frightening and heartbreaking yet most Americans have no clue.

What caught my eye in the story was reference to the huge lump on the top of the sea lion’s head. It is clearly a deformity.

Here are a few examples the fake media hasn’t bothered to cover. We know this is a lie that’s been protected for years. Now it’s reached the point where some exposure is deemed necessary.

Fukushima radiation has reached U.S. shores, Dec. 9, 2016

“Woods Hole chemical oceanographer Ken Buesseler runs a crowd-funded, citizen science seawater sampling project that has tracked the radiation plume as it slowly makes its way across the Pacific Ocean.

“The Oregon samples, marking the first time cesium-134 has been detected on U.S. shores, were taken in January and February of 2016 and later analyzed. They each measured 0.3 becquerels per cubic meter of cesium-134. Buesseler’s team previously had found the isotope in a sample of seawater taken from a dock on Vancouver Island, B.C., marking its landfall in North America.

“Meanwhile, in Canada, Cullen leads the InFORM project to assess radiological risks to that country’s oceans following the nuclear disaster. It is a partnership of a dozen academic, government and non-profit organizations, including Woods Hole. Last month, the group reported that a single sockeye salmon, sampled from Okanagan Lake in the summer of 2015, had tested positive for cesium-134.”

Yep. All is well. Levels too low to be of concern for humans. The highly toxic Cesium 134 has now been found in Tillamook Bay and Gold Beach, Oregon is Fukushima.

Christian Teacher Severely Beaten by Muslim Villagers in Uganda for Leaving Islam

A Ugandan teacher who converted to Christianity was severely beaten by a group of Muslim villagers who were angered when they found out he had left the Islamic faith.

Persecution watchdog sources such as Morning Star News reports that the attack occurred earlier in November in Bufuja, Uganda. The Muslim villagers reportedly destroyed 30-year-old Malik Higenyi’s maize crops, left him threatening messages on his phone, and beat him unconscious.

“Be informed that you risk your life and that of the entire family if you happen to come back to your house,” one of the anonymous texts read. “We curse you and your family. You are an apostate according to Islamic law, and you deserve to die.”

Muslims make up only a minority, 13.7 percent, of the Ugandan population, according to the CIA World Factbook, while Christians, mainly Protestants and Roman Catholics, account for close to 85 percent.

Maduro Stunner: Venezuela Eliminates Half Its Paper Money After Pulling Largest Bill From Circulation

Having observed the economic chaos to emerge as a result of India’s shocking Nov. 8 demonetization announcement, and perhaps confident it can do better, today president Nicolas Maduro of Venezuela, Latin America’s most distressed economy, mired in an economic crisis and facing hyperinflation, likewise shocked the nation when he announced on state TV that just like India, Venezuela would pull its highest denominated, 100-bolivar bill (which is worth about two U.S. cents on the black market), from circulation over the next 72 hours, ahead of the introduction of new, higher-value notes, as large as 20,000.

“I have decided to take out of circulation bills of 100 bolivars in the next 72 hours,” Maduro said. “We must keep beating the mafias.”

The surprise move, announced by Maduro during an hours-long speech, is likely to worsen a cash crunch in Venezuela, and lead the largely-cash based economy to a state of paralysis. Maduro said the 100-bolivar bill will be taken out of circulation on Wednesday and Venezuelans will have 10 days after that to exchange those notes at the central bank.

According to central bank data, in November there were more than six billion 100-bolivar bills in circulation, 48 percent of all bills and coins. In other words, Venezuela just eliminated half the paper cash in circulation.

Mexican Senators “Knock the Stuffing Out of Donald Trump”

“We were just reflecting the feelings of most Mexicans,” says senior politician over piñata incident

Senators from Mexico’s left-leaning Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD) celebrated Donald Trump’s election win at their Christmas party by bashing a life-size piñata of the soon-to-be United States president.

During the party, held on Tuesday night in a hotel in the Mexican capital, PRD president Miguel Barbosa encouraged his audience to send a rousing “greeting to Donald,” accompanied by traditional cat calls (widely understood in Mexico to mean “screw your mother”), an expression some local commentators suggested was more appropriate for a bar or angry drivers in a traffic jam than some of the best-paid elected officials in the country.

But Barbosa was unrepentant after the story broke: “These are popular and spontaneous forms of expressing the rejection we feel toward Trump,” he said. “It wasn’t meant to be a provocation but simply our way of showing our feelings, which are shared by many Mexicans,” he told EL PAÍS.

Canada: Half of Adult Syrian Refugees Unemployed 1 Year Later: Liberals

One year after the first of 35,000 Syrian refugees landed in Canada, only half of all adults — approximately 9,000 individuals — have found work.

For the past year, the federal government has been providing funds to new arrivals as they attempt to build new lives in a new country with new circumstances and different customs. After 365 days though, federal funding runs out, leaving those still requiring assistance to turn to provincial governments for social aid.

Greece: Economic Migrants Put Extra Strain on Asylum System

The numbers of migrants crossing from Turkey to the eastern Aegean islands are on the rise, but the percentage of those who merit international protection is on the wane, say authorities, who are looking for ways to speed up asylum procedures.

Speaking to Kathimerini on condition of anonymity, local officials told the newspaper that refugee families currently stranded on the islands are reluctant to share a roof with economic migrants, mostly young men from the Maghreb region (Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria) who allegedly often display delinquent behavior and are on the front lines of riots at reception centers.

Migration Policy Minister Yiannis Mouzalas recently admitted that between 70 and 80 percent of arrivals were now migrants while before it was refugees escaping conflict and war.

Whereas the latter appear aware that the Balkan route to Western Europe is officially closed, the groups of young male economic migrants appear more willing to take the risks of reaching Europe.

A total 324 undocumented migrants crossed from Turkey on Friday, most of them from Africa and Pakistan. Another 330 reached Greece on Saturday.

Russia: No “Asylum” For Syrians

The Russian Federation now routinely refuses to consider “asylum” applications from Syrians, and instead sends them back home saying that they face “no particular threat,” it has emerged.

The policy decision has been made because Syrians have no reason to leave their country in the first place, being able to move to the peaceful government-controlled majority of that country, and also because the U.S.-backed terrorist war is coming to an end.

Russia’s logical decision to refuse “asylum” to Syrians was made public by a far-left “human rights” organization called “Civil Assistance” which has now appealed to Western European governments to intervene.

Serbian Attitudes Harden as Migrants Gather Once Again

The so-called Balkan Route may have closed officially in March. But people are still making their way along the peninsula towards western Europe — only now without the protection of the authorities which had laid on transport to keep them out of the hands of traffickers.

Belgrade — bypassed last year as trains and buses took people relatively smoothly from border to border — has once again become a gathering place.

Camping in the small park between the main bus and train stations is no longer possible, as the grass areas have been cordoned off. Instead, derelict railway buildings are providing improvised shelter for hundreds of people.

Conditions are miserable. Fires burn day and night, filling the gloomy spaces with acrid smoke. But with temperatures dipping well below zero overnight, there seems little alternative.

Time to Rescind 1965 Immigration Reform Act

In 1965, our ‘Captain’ Lyndon B. Johnson along with helmsman Senator Teddy Kennedy, Jacob Javitz and Howard Metzenbaum drove America into an iceberg of massive, unrestricted immigration that opened up the flood gates with the “Immigration Reform Act.” At first, the flow of one million immigrants annually wasn’t noticed. We were benevolent. We lived in a big country with only 194,000,000 (million) people. We enjoyed plenty of room and resources.

However, the massive flow of humanity from that legislation still pours into our country 51 years later and few seem to notice — much like the party-goers and dancing on the Titanic that kept up for hours after hitting the iceberg in the North Atlantic. However, even the invincible Titanic could not survive the onslaught from the constant flow of incoming water — slowly, methodically stealing its ability to stay afloat.

Today in the United States, 100 million immigrants later and pouring in at 1.5 million annually — both legal and illegal — our nation shudders from San Francisco to New York and from Chicago to Miami. We rose from 194 million to 326 million in five decades. What was once a benefit to our country is now a full-scale overpopulation, linguistic, sociological, religious, terrorist, cultural and societal crisis.

– From stem to stern, our English language faces assault and our schools drown in ethnic violence, rapes, drugs and gang warfare. In California, Texas, Florida and Arizona, our hospitals suffer bankruptcies from non-paid services for 350,000 annual ‘anchor babies’ annually. Fifteen to twenty million illegal immigrants displace jobs from America’s working poor and depress wages for many others.

Leprosy, tuberculosis, Chagas Disease, hepatitis and other diseases pour into our country within the bodies of illegal immigrants who avoid health screening before coming on board the United States. The CDC reported 296 new cases of tuberculosis in Somali-immigrant- dominated Minneapolis, MN this past October, 2016. Even worse, clashing cultures with religions that celebrate ‘female genital mutilation’, honor killings and subjugation of women are growing in enclaves around our country. As Lincoln said, “A house divided against itself cannot stand.”

‘Glowbull Warming’ And the Reindeer

[T]he climate change industry based on reduction of man-made CO2, the gas of plant life, is a very profitable ruse worth trillions of dollars for global elites.

Not giving up on the climate change fear-mongering effort, the Oscar winning author of ‘An Inconvenient Truth’, has announced the sequel to his documentary which will debut at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.

Engaging the church to influence people into believing that global warming is real, the activist Pope Francis announced in September that “global warming is a sin and man can atone by recycling and carpooling,” by stopping deforestation, not polluting rivers, protecting the soil, not destroying the bio diversity of the planet, as if reading a canned U.N. Agenda 2030 script.

The Vatican’s Pontifical Academy of Sciences, the advisor to the Pope, has concluded that “global climate change is real and is caused, at least in significant part, by human activity.” Catholic.org stated in a recent post that “new priests [are] to learn about global warming as part of formation.” Why would a priest who is not a scientist need to learn about alleged global warming? “The established community of experts agrees with the frightful consensus that the planet is warming because of human activity. And while nature may play a role in the natural heating of the planet, it is known that the Earth’s temperature is dynamic, humans are clearly responsible for much of the present warming.” And the public’s opinion is being manipulated by climate change skeptics on the payroll of the fossil fuel industry. “The fossil fuel industry funds nearly all of the climate change skeptics, going so far as to commission questionable studies, to financing think tanks, and even paying individual bloggers.”

[Comment: “A Convenient Lie” — convenient for the globalists to rake in trillions.]

Sex Shop’s Dildo Nativity Scene Sparks Controversy in Spain

It’s not unusual for stores across Spain to get into the seasonal spirit with their own special version of a nativity scene in the shop window.

But when Non Sit Peccatum, a sex shop in the town of Talavera de la Reina near Toledo chose to display sex toys depicting the iconic biblical scene, it caused somewhat of fuss.

Shop owner Héctor Valdivielso commissioned an artist to paint the figures of Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus on ceramic dildos.

Criminal Scam Shut Down After Netting ‘Hundreds of Millions’ Of Dollars

A criminal enterprise that controlled an estimated 500,000 computers worldwide and cost consumers “hundreds of millions” of dollars has been shut down by a coordinated international effort, according to a report in Joseph Farah’s G2 Bulletin.

The word comes from a coalition that includes the FBI in the United States, Europol, Eurojust and INTERPOL.

The “Avalanche” network launched and managed mass global malware attacks “and money mule recruiting campaigns,” according to officials.

German investigators had analyzed more than 130 terabytes of captured data to identify the server structure. And then one day last week German police and prosecutors in close international cooperation dismantled the system.

It happened in more than 30 countries, where more than 800,000 domains were seized or blocked. Five people were arrested, 37 offices searched and 39 servers were seized.

In addition, another 221 servers were shut down through abuse notifications sent to hosting providers.

Victims had been identified in 180 countries, officials said.

The coalition revealed that criminal groups had been conducting malware, phishing and spam activities using the Avalanche system since 2009. Officials said more than 1 million emails with damaging attachments or links were sent to unsuspecting victims every week.

Officials revealed authorities started working on the problem four years ago when an encryption ransomware infected a substantial number of computer systems, blocking users’ access.

“Millions of private and business computer systems were also infected with malware, enabling the criminals operating the network to harvest bank and email passwords,” they reported.

One of the stunts included a spoofed message “from law enforcement claiming the victim’s system had been distributing illegal pornography, then disabling the infected computer until the victim paid a ‘ fine’to unlock it.”

UN’s New Secretary-General Sworn in

Former Portuguese prime minister Antonio Guterres was sworn in Monday as Secretary-General of the United Nations, becoming the ninth U.N. chief in the body’s 71-year history.

Guterres, 67, was a socialist Prime Minister of Portugal from 1995-2002 and the U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees from June 2005-December 2015.

He was appointed by the General Assembly on October 13. After months of competition with candidates from a variety of countries, the Security Council unanimously endorsed Guterres, recommending him to the General assembly for approval. He takes over from Ban Ki-moon on Jan. 1.

The incoming Trump administration has stirred anxiety at the U.N., which relies on the United States for 22 percent of its operating budget and about 28 percent of the organization’s $8 billion peacekeeping operation worldwide.

  1. Cheerio Baron and Dymphna. Nice to have known you! I am finished with politics.

  2. Why are we not financing and encouraging all these liberal people and their virgins to flee directly into the arms of Islam. Planes, boats, bicycles all the funds they need to spread the “love”. Muslims would not be offended by that now would they? EUISIS send theirs to the killing fields. Of late especially it’s not difficult to imagine hordes of armed Muslims openly living their dream of choice in any EU capitol.

  3. “The best answer to the fright of last year is to develop other imagery through a positive art event,” said Geist.

    Something to highlight the Dom.

That’ll do it; especially post-modernist stuff.

    • ‘That’ll do it’
I can’t seem to get my post-modernist plagiarism of Rene Magritte’s painting, famously, not of a pipe, shown anywhere in Europe.

      I can’t imagine what’s wrong with ‘Ceci n’est pas Mohammed’………
