Last night’s divine surprise is important more for the many bad things that will not happen than for the good ones that may happen. That Donald Trump won in spite of his many blunders, and in spite of the mainstream media machine acting as an integral part of Hillary Clinton’s campaign, indicates the magnitude of the elite-class debacle. Many disasters will be averted now.
The appointment of one, two, or even three Ruth Bader Sotomayor clones will not happen. There will be no mass amnesty for the illegals. The Clinton crime syndicate will no longer be able to operate with impunity, and its principals may face justice. (After all, Hillary Clinton has said that Nelson Mandela was her role model, and he was elected president only after he had served 27 years in prison.) There will be no second-generation Clinton dynasts. There will be no more mass pardons of hardened criminals. There will be no more bowing before Saudi royal kleptocrats, and no White House Iftar dinners with halal menus. There will be no mass influx of Syrian “refugees.” There will be no more “progressive projects” to erode the remnants of the Republic. There will be no more trashing of white working Americans. There will be no Humas in the Oval Office, no Nulands in the Cabinet and no Foundation donors in the anteroom.

Looking ahead to Trump’s first hundred days, Gaffney said there were “many things said in the course of the campaign that could be the basis for a hundred-day program in the national security space.”
“Clearly rebuilding the military is front and center,” he said. “That won’t get done in a hundred days, but it’s got to get started in it. Cleaning house, in terms of lots of folks who have burrowed in, who will be sabotaging him at every turn, in all of the national security agencies — including, I think, the military and, frankly, the intelligence community, Homeland Security, and so on.”
“But overarching it all, it seems to me, there will be a need: he will likely be tested to deal with Russia, to deal with China, to deal with North Korea, in a form that Reagan, my old boss, used to call ‘peace through strength,’“ Gaffney expected.
“But most especially, everyone in the world will be watching whether he executes on his strategy of victory over jihad. He couldn’t have been more clear that that’s the problem here. We’re dealing with an Islamic terrorist movement that is global, imbued by sharia, that has to be met by preventing more of those jihadists from coming to the United States, by ensuring that people who are coming from places where sharia is the order of the day are, in fact, people who share our values,” he urged.
Gaffney said one of the most critically important challenges for the new president would be “stopping, designating, rolling up the Muslim Brotherhood in America as the terrorist organization it is.”

How Caddell Got it Right: ‘This is the Rising of the People’
In discussing last night’s historic victory for Republican Donald Trump, pollster and analyst Pat Caddell told Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Wednesday, “It’s what I’ve been talking about for a couple of years, the alienation, the discontent and finally this year with Donald Trump, the people found a vehicle.”
“This is the rising of the people. it is what I’ve been talking about for years,” said Caddell.
Comparing it to the Jacksonian revolution, said Caddell, “The American people have said this is our country … we are not your subjects. We are your masters.”
Trump “played outside the box,” continued Caddell, saying people supported him because of the “genuineness” of what he was saying and proposing.

For months, every story on the Huffington Post about Trump came with a disclaimer at the end describing him as a “serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist,” among other things. Now, according to Politico, a note sent to HuffPo staff from the organization’s Washington Bureau Chief, Ryan Grim, on Tuesday evening said the disclaimer will no longer be used in an effort create a “clean slate”.
“Editor’s note: Donald Trump regularly incites political violence and is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, misogynist and birther who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims — 1.6 billion members of an entire religion — from entering the U.S.”
Of course, Huffington Post spokeswoman Sujata Mitra noted that the plan all along was to remove the “Editor’s Note” after the election cycle…of course, because the point was to block a Trump presidency which didn’t really work out that well apparently.
“The thinking is that (assuming he wins) that he’s now president and we’re going to start with a clean slate,” Grim wrote in the memo, obtained by POLITICO. “If he governs in a racist, misogynistic way, we reserve the right to add it back on. This would be giving respect to the office of the presidency which Trump and his backers never did.”

DONALD Trump has been named as the 45th president of the United States this morning in a stunning US election victory.
His victory was confirmed at 7.30am, with a humbled Hillary Clinton ringing her opposition to concede soon after.
World leaders including Theresa May, Angela Merkel and Vladimir Putin have been responding to the win, which Mr Trump said was a victory “for all Americans”.
His campaign manager threatened to make good on Mr Trump’s pre-election promise to arrange a special prosecutor for Mrs Clinton if he was elected.

No Matter What Happens, We Won’t Know Who the Next President Will be Until December 19th
Most Americans assume that their votes decide who the next president will be, but that is actually not the case. It is the Electoral College that will elect the next president, and they don’ t meet until December 19th. And the truth is that all of the members of the Electoral College never meet in one place. Rather, electors gather together in all 50 state capitals on the second Wednesday in December, and it is at that time that the next president and vice president are officially elected. Of course members of the Electoral College have voted according to the will of the people about 99 percent of the time throughout our history, but with how crazy this election has turned out to be you never know what might happen. For example, later on in this article you will see that one elector in Washington state has already publicly stated that he will not cast his vote for Hillary Clinton. If other “ faithless electors” emerge, that could potentially change the entire outcome of the election.

A few months ago we wrote about a Huffington Post contributor, David Seaman, who had his publishing rights revoked after he had the audacity to write an article questioning Hillary’s health. Ironically, he was fired on August 30th, less than two weeks before Hillary collapsed at the 9/11 memorial service in New York essentially confirming every “conspiracy theory” that Seaman mentioned in his article. WikiLeaks Email Shows Clinton ‘Sealed Her Own Fate’ In Plot to Make Donald Trump Her Rival
A camp Clinton plot to try to harm the Republican campaign by getting more press coverage for the party’s more conservative candidates was revealed in a email released by Julian Assange’s Wikileaks.
The email was sent in April 2015 — two months before Trump announced he was going to stand and is one of tens of thousands published by Wikileaks from the apparently hacked gmail account of Clinton campaign boss John Podesta.
The email from Marissa Astor, and assistant to Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook, to Mr Podesta, and copied to the Democratic National Committee (DNC), suggests the campaign knew Mr Trump was going to run for president, and believed by promoting him into the press, it could ultimately harm the Republicans.
The email also suggests Hillary Clinton’s team felt it would be good for Mrs Clinton if she ran against someone like Mr Trump, as she would have more chance of success.
The memo described Donald Trump, Senator Ted Cruz, and Ben Carson as “Pied Piper candidates”.

Europe Reacts to Trump ‘The World is Crumbling in Front of Our Eyes’
Most in Europe were expecting to wake up to President-elect Hillary Clinton. But now that Trump has won, many political leaders in Germany and the EU are in no mood to celebrate — with some exceptions.
Sigmar Gabriel, head of Germany’s Social Democrats and Merkel’s vice chancellor, was more terse, saying: “Trump is a warning to us as well. He is the harbinger of a new authoritarian and chauvinistic international movement.”
Those who welcomed Trump’s victory were quick to congratulate him. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, for example, said that the Republican’s election to the presidency is “fantastic news” showing that “democracy is still alive.” Russian President Vladimir Putin quickly sent Trump a congratulatory message.
Other populists in Europe were likewise giddy at the prospect of Trump entering the White House. Marine Le Pen, head of Front National in France, quickly congratulated Trump and “the free American people” on Twitter. She was quickly followed by her deputy Florian Philippot, who tweeted: “Their world is crumbling, ours is building.”
Heinz-Christian Strache, head of the right-wing populist Freedom Party of Austria, congratulated Trump on Facebook and wrote: “The political left and aloof, corrupt establishment is being punished by voters step-by-step.”

Italy’s Politicians React to Trump’s Victory
Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi has congratulated the newly-elected President of the United States, Donald Trump, on today’s victory, stating: “I wish him good luck with his work, confident that the friendship between Italy and the US will remain strong and solid. This is the starting point for the entire international community, pre-election campaign scepticism aside. This is a new political event, which, along with others, shows that we are in a new phase”. Italy’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Paolo Gentiloni, was of the same mind but underlined “our country’s opposition to protectionism and closed attitudes”.
Leader of the Five Star Movement and comedian Beppe Grillo, boomed: “This is the deflagration of an era. It is the apocalypse of information, television, the big newspapers, intellectuals and journalists.

Egyptian MP: Trump’s Election Means ‘Dark Days for Muslim Brotherhood’
Mustafa Juneidi said he was sure Trump was going to win, and said that “dark days are awaiting the Muslim Brotherhood and their allies.”
He also said that Egypt’s relations with the US “will improve, as Trump already named President [Abdel Fatah] Sisi as a hero and a strong ally who was shunned by the Obama Administration.”
He further said that Trump’s victory signals the victory of social media over the mainstream media that was biased in Hillary Clinton’s favor. “Trump’s election means that people no longer believe what the media tells them.”

Hillary Knew She Was Helping Terrorists by Overthrowing Libya’s Gaddafi
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton escaped further FBI scrutiny over the weekend, just before millions of Americans prepare to cast their vote for president. But according to the latest batch of emails published by WikiLeaks — and listed as unclassified by the U.S. Department of State — she won’t escape public scrutiny for her crimes in Libya.
In an email from Sidney Blumenthal with the subject line “H: Lots of new intel; possible Libyan collapse. SID,” dated March 26, 2011, Clinton was warned that al Qaeda militants, as well as members of the Muslim Brotherhood, would rise if then-Libyan president Muammar Gaddafi were ousted.
Long before the al-Qaeda-led attack against U.S. government facilities in Benghazi, Libya, Clinton was advised that U.S. efforts in the country would lead to internal collapse, as al-Qaeda militants would infiltrate the post-Gaddafi transitional government.

An Iranian thug has been blinded as punishment for throwing acid in the face of a four-year-old girl who then lost her sight.

Putin: Trump Win is a Massive Defeat for New World Order
Russia is hoping for a “new understanding” and “restored Russian-American relations” according to Kremlin sources, with President Putin said to be “encouraged” by the American people voting to back themselves and reject the prospect of a New World Order totalitarian world government.

Putin on Trump: Russia is Ready to Restore Relations With US

Violent Protests in Indonesia Blow an Ill Will for Religious Tolerance

Following the tumultuous riots last Friday in Jakarta by hundreds of thousands of Muslims against the ethnic Chinese Christian governor, we asked him for his views on why this occurred in this alleged ‘moderate” Muslim country. Today, we posted his brilliant and concerning commentary in the November edition of the New English Review, “Violent Protests in Indonesia Blow an Ill Will for Religious Tolerance.” Here are some excerpts:
“In Jakarta violence between protestors and police broke out Friday night, November 4, 2016 when an estimated 200,000 Muslims emerged from Friday prayers in mosques to rally outside the Indonesian President’s palace. Clashes with police led to tear gas being used on demonstrators, and Indonesia’s president, Joko Widodo, had to postpone his planned visit to Australia to deal with the crisis
The crowd was calling for the arrest of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, known as Ahok, the Chinese Christian governor of Jakarta, which is Indonesia’s capital and the largest city in the world’s fourth most populous nation.
A video had gone viral showing Ahok referring in a speech to chapter 5, verse 41 of the Qur’an. He warned his listeners not to give credence to those who might try to deceive them with this verse or others like it.
Ahok has faced criticism before from hardline Muslims, who objected when he stood as Deputy Governor of Jakarta in 2012. Yet Ahok is very popular, and seems set to win the next gubernatorial election in February 2017. He previously took office as Governor in 2014 after Joko Widodo resigned his position as Jakarta mayor to take up the Presidency of the nation…

‘We Are Losing Control of the Streets’ Merkel’s Germany Descends Into Lawlessness
GERMAN Chancellor Angela Merkel is facing catastrophe over her failed migrant policy, according to a new report.
During the first six months of 2016, migrants committed 142,500 crimes, according to the Federal Criminal Police Office.
And Germany has been hit by a spate of horrendous violent crime including rapes, sexual and physical assaults, stabbings, home invasions, robberies, burglaries and drug trafficking.
The report states: “The rape of a ten-year-old girl in Leipzig, the largest city in Saxony, has drawn renewed attention to the spiralling levels of violent crime perpetrated by migrants in cities and towns across Germany.
“During the first six months of 2016, migrants committed 142,500 crimes, according to the Federal Criminal Police Office. This is equivalent to 780 crimes committed by migrants every day, an increase of nearly 40 per cent over 2015. The data includes only those crimes in which a suspect has been caught.
“Thousands of migrants who entered the country as ‘asylum seekers’ or ‘refugees’ have gone missing. They are, presumably, economic migrants who entered Germany on false pretences.
“Many are thought to be engaging in robbery and criminal violence.”
According to Freddi Lohse of the German Police Union in Hamburg, many migrant offenders view the leniency of the German justice system as a green light to continue delinquent behaviour, says the report.

I am glad to note Mr Orban’s response. It would seem that he, at least, does not see Mr Trump’s victory as a sign that the Russians will be let loose on the old Soviet bloc. One friend of Romanian extraction was afraid of just that–I’d like to know what anyone here thinks, especially those of recent old Soviet bloc extraction.

Why would they waste resources with anything else? And anyway, I’d prefer Russia to the demographic replacement taking place now. [I wasn’t asserting anything–just repeating someone else’s, in order to get the Eastern bloc view.] I had a feeling that, except for old Soviet territory heavily populated by ethnic Russians (such as Eastern Ukraine), Russia wasn’t in an expansionist mood. It would seem that the old jibe that nationalism = warmongering doesn’t really apply when the nationalists have agreed on their borders and want to keep their own nationalism within them. I have heard that Russia is not likely to be in expansionist mood regarding the Donbas region. It is so damaged now, eastern Ukrainians are fleeing to Russia by the hundreds of thousands.
The point of the unresolved border conflict in Donbass is it blocks the ability of the Ukraine to join NATO. Countries can only join NATO if they have no unresolved border issues.
The same trick was done to Georgia.

And my son suggested that Putin should (with Trump’s cooperation )invade Turkey drive all the Turks out of what was Armenia before they invaded and took it over in the 11th century.The Turks should be driven back to the mountain ranges from which they descended .
Then Turkey should be divided . Greece (as part of the old Byzantium empire) should regain the part of Turkey which includes Constantinople. The Armenians should receive apart of Turkey as their independent homeland.

He also suggested giving part of Turkey to the Kurds for an independent homeland .Not so sure about that, but maybe.
Let’s hope it’s Constantinople that Putin wishes to take back… and not Kiev, Tallinn, Riga, Vilnius – and maybe Warsaw…

Turkey should by a top priority in U.S. foreign policy, a top adviser to President-elect Donald Trump said Wednesday in an article that slammed Barack Obama for failing to understand Ankara’s geopolitical position.
“We must begin with understanding that Turkey is vital to U.S. interests,” retired Gen. Michael Flynn wrote for the Hill newspaper. He also called Turkey “a source of stability in the region”.
Flynn was a key national security adviser to Trump during his presidential campaign and is expected by many to be appointed to a Cabinet position, possibly as defense secretary.
The veteran general wrote that it was “an unwise policy” for the Obama administration to keep Ankara at arm’s length,
“We need to adjust our foreign policy to recognize Turkey as a priority. We need to see the world from Turkey’s perspective,” he wrote.
Noting the extradition request by Turkey of Fetullah Terrorist Organization leader, Fetullah Gulen, as one of the key points of contention between Washington and Ankara, Flynn suggested the U.S. handover Gulen.
Ankara has asked Washington to extradite Gulen for his role in establishing a quasi-state within Turkey that led a failed bloody coup July 15.
“What would we have done if right after 9/11 we heard the news that Osama bin Laden lives in a nice villa at a Turkish resort while running 160 charter schools funded by the Turkish taxpayers?” Flynn asked.
The former chair of the Defense Intelligence Agency suggested that although Gulen presents himself as a moderate Islamic scholar, he is a radical who “has publicly boasted about his ‘soldiers’ waiting for his orders to do whatever he directs them to do.”
Flynn compared Gulen to Ayatollah Khomeini — the leader of the Iranian revolution – urging the U.S. government not to repeat its mistake by supporting Gulen as it did Khomeini.
“Washington’s silence on this explosive topic speaks volumes when we hear the incredulous claim that the democratically elected president of Turkey staged a military coup, bombed his own parliament and undermined the confidence in Turkey’s strong economy, just so that he could purge his political opponents,” he added.
Flynn also cited allegation of corruption against the Gulen network in the U.S., saying the terror leader has brought more people than Google into the country to teach English but they are not fluent in the language.”

Interesting comments by Flynn. He seems to be stuck in a cold war mentality concerning Russia. My suggestion would be to trust no islamists at all. They all lie, just look and see if their mouths are moving.
I certainly agree with your vision, Shelagh, and perhaps most of all with your second last sentence; the Kurds are moslems, but they are the only moslems presently fighting on ‘our’ side, and helping retake Mosul. They deserve their own homeland.
I would also agree with partially dividing Turkey and giving the Greeks and Armenians some of it, and why not, Turkey has been a thorn in the side of Europe and western Asia ever since the Turks adopted the murderous cult of islam, and even today they threaten Europe. I’m in Portugal*, and the media here were so disgusting, so filthy as if the election was here. When news came of Trump’s victory, they started to call for the apocalypse because «the people» voted against their wishful thinking. Incidents of Hillary‘s fans are shown as rejection, the vote is nothing to them –they are not for democracy. In spite of the brainwash, I have heard street people telling that Americans choose and Hillary was/is no god.
