Gates of Vienna News Feed 11/8/2016

There isn’t much news feed tonight. I assume our tipsters are glued to their vidscreens watching the election results, just like me. Actually, I’m glued to the Drudge Report, so as to avoid the nauseating nattering nabobs of liberalism who clog the arteries of the MSM.

As I write this, The New York Times is projecting a Trump victory with a 95% probability. Given that they would do anything — anything, even more than Madonna — to avoid such an outcome, it’s not looking good for the snowflakes at the moment. But maybe when I wake up tomorrow, it will have all been a glittering dream…

“People Power” Versus Manipulation of the Masses

On November 8, the election will come down to Donald J. Trump’s “people power,” a largely spontaneous uprising of the “silent majority,” against Hillary Clinton’s scientific manipulation of the electorate, using personal data to identify and provoke people to go to the polls. In this effort, Mrs. Clinton has the support of the giant company Google and the president of its parent company, Eric Schmidt. Experts say the effort resembles how the Communist Chinese dictatorship monitors people and modifies their behavior through media manipulation and censorship of the Web.

As Trump suggests, the election process seems “rigged,” and the evidence has come in the form of another John Podesta email.

One of the internal Clinton campaign emails disclosed by WikiLeaks shows that Schmidt, chairman of the Google parent company, offered a detailed campaign plan for the Clinton campaign. The April 15, 2014, message, addressed to Clinton aide Cheryl Mills, said, “I have put together my thoughts on the campaign ideas and I have scheduled some meetings in the next few weeks for veterans of the campaign to tell me how to make these ideas better.” The details included “Size, Structure and Timing” and a campaign budget of $1.5 billion, with more than “5000 paid employees and million(s) of volunteers.” The Schmidt email was sent along to several key Clinton people, including campaign chairman John Podesta.

The plan examines how information is received and reviewed by voters, and what provokes them. Indeed, in a section titled “The Voter,” Schmidt says, “Key is the development of a single record for a voter that aggregates all that is known about them. In 2016 smart phones will be used to identify, meet, and update profiles on the voter.” Schmidt goes on to say, “For each voter, a score is computed ranking probability of the right vote. Analytics can model demographics, social factors and many other attributes of the needed voters.”

Patrick Wood, editor of Technocracy News, comments that Schmidt’s scoring idea “is just like China’s social scoring of citizens to see who is for them and who is against them.”

Black Leaders to Their Voters: ‘We Won’t Allow Ourselves to be Used’ by Democratic Party

“I realized that my relationship with the Democrats was completely one-sided”

Leaders of the black church in America are urging African American voters to abandon the Democratic Party once and for all as Election Day approaches.

In new videos released today, Rev. William Owens and his wife Dr. Deborah Owens of the Coalition of African American Pastors say the relationship between the black community and Democrats in America is “one-sided.”

Black Man Accused of Rape Told Victim He Targeted Her ‘Because She’s White’

An African American man arrested in Pittsburgh and accused of rape was also charged with ethnic intimidation for allegedly telling his victim he targeted her “because she’s white.” Pittsburgh police announced the arrest of Lee Harris, 47, for the November 6 attack of a woman in the city’s Hazelwood neighborhood. Officials also noted that Harris had to be subdued by a K9 unit, according to Pittsburgh’s Action 4 News. During the investigation police took testimony from the victim who told them that she had seen Harris in the neighborhood but had never interacted with him before he accosted her.

Clinton State Dept. Hired Terrorists for Security in Benghazi. Yes, Really…

Of course, it’s no secret why she wants to sweep it all under the prayer mat

An obscure private firm hired by the State Department over internal objections to protect U.S. diplomats in Benghazi just months before the American ambassador and three others were killed was staffed with hastily recruited locals with terror ties who helped carry out the attack, multiple sources told Fox News.

Clare Lopez, a member of Citizens’ Commission on Benghazi, said the Clinton State Department bears blame for the security situation.

“Think about it: Hillary Clinton’s State Department actually hired the very people who, along with their jihadist allies in Benghazi, attacked us and killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and Sean Smith as well as CIA contractors Glen Doherty and Ty Woods,” Lopez said.

Hillary Preparing to Lose, Cancels Election Night Fireworks

Tsunami of Trump voters could overwhelm attempts to rig election

“Get ready for war with Russia” if Hillary Clinton is elected president, said progressive Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein.

“This election, we are not only deciding what kind of world we will have, but whether we will have a world or not going forward,” Stein warned, explaining that Clinton’s trigger-happy militarism “is a mushroom cloud waiting to happen.”

While Stein adamantly opposes a Trump presidency, she explained that the dangers posed by a Clinton presidency are “arguably even more immediate and intense.”

Huge Breakthrough in D.C. Pedophilia Ring

It is truly imperative that every person of conscience watch the following video. It provides essential context which is necessary to correctly understand the great volume of information posted below the broken line.

Only after watching the preceding video will it be possible to make sense of the Democrat pedophilia ring that has been broken in Washington, D.C. When this [ORGANIZED] Satanic ritual child sexual abuse is finished being investigated, it will make the Franklin Scandal and Cover-up look like a garden party.

The Franklin Coverup Scandal: The Child Sex Ring That Reached Bush/Reagan White House

That Clinton Campaign Chairman John Podesta finds himself at the very center of this exploding Beltway scandal only complicates matters for so many. Podesta was President Bill Clinton’s Chief of Staff and President Barack Obama’s “Counselor to the President”…

The individual I have mentioned is one James Achilles Alefantis. Mr. Alefantis is the owner of the Washington DC pizza parlor Comet Ping Pong. There are disturbing indications that Mr. Alefantis is running some form of pedophile ring that involves quite a few public figures in Washington D.C. It would appear that he is the “Achilles heel” for all these people of stature.

Since the investigation began, Mr. Alefantis has deleted many of his posts and set his social media to private. We have archived the entirety of his online presence however. Links posted here are both archives and screenshots I took while helping to investigate.

First I will discuss Alefantis’ links to powerful people, then outline the preponderance of evidence that he is a pedophile and uses Comet Ping Pong as a front for his sex trafficking ring.

‘I Think I Said the Exact Opposite’ BBC Slammed by Trump Supporter Ahead of US Election

Ann Coulter gave an impassioned defence of the billionaire with less than 24 hours until the polls close and the 45th US President is decided.

After stating the Republican was the only candidate who was tackling the issues and standing up to the ruling class at his rallies, presenter Emily Maitlis asked Coulter if it was the personality of Trump which made him an attractive option to voters.

Coulter said: “I think I just said the exact opposite.

“I’m talking about his issues. No-one is voting for Trump because of his personality.”

The conservative commentator received plaudits on social media for not bowing down to Maitlis’ line of questioning.

Indiana Vote Fraud Detailed in Secret Warrant Search

In Danville, Indiana, west of Indianapolis, Hendricks County Clerk Debbie Hoskins reported to the state police on August 23 that her office has received several forged voter registration forms. It was the beginning of an investigation that resulted in a search warrant, just unsealed and seen Monday for the first time.

State police searched the headquarters of the Indiana Voter Registration Project, an offshoot of Patriot Majority U.S.A., founded in 2005 by a former Democratic Party strategist. During the raid last month, financial records, personal files and cell phones were seized, with authorities saying: “Numerous employees of The Indiana Voter Registration Project have fabricated and forged multiple voter registrations applications for voters who reside in Lake, Madison, Hamilton, Marion Hendricks, Hancock and Johnson Counties…It appears that the employees of the Indiana Voters Registration Project have demonstrated a pattern and practice of the submission of fraudulent and forged voter registration applications in violation of Indiana Codes.”

Leaked Documents Reveal Expansive Soros Funding to Manipulate Federal Elections

Leaked funding documents reveal an effort by George Soros and his foundations to manipulate election laws and process rules ahead of the federal election far more expansively than has been previously reported.

The billionaire and convicted felon moved hundreds of millions of dollars into often-secret efforts to change election laws, fuel litigation to attack election integrity measures, push public narratives about voter fraud, and to integrate the political ground game of the left with efforts to scare racial minority groups about voting rights threats.

These Soros-funded efforts moved through dozens of 501(c)(3) and (c)(4) charities and involved the active compliance with civil rights groups, government officials, and purportedly non-partisan groups like the League of Women Voters.

The leaked documents also reveal deliberate and successful efforts to manipulate media coverage of election issues in mainstream media outlets like the The New York Times.

The Senate Could Impeach Hillary Clinton Today

Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch stated in a recent interview: “One of the dirty little secrets in Washington is that Mrs. Clinton can be impeached now. A federal official leaving office does not end congressional jurisdiction over impeachment for misconduct in that office. And if she was convicted by the Senate the sanction could be ineligibility for future office.”

There have been calls for a special counsel but corrupt Attorney General Loretta Lynch will never allow that to happen. Fitton went on to say in another interview:

“You know, the other interesting thing is, Mrs. Clinton’s still the subject of impeachment for her conduct as Secretary of State,” Fitton observed. “Republicans in Congress, rather than complaining about what the Justice Department is or isn’t doing — which is fair to do — they also have independent obligations to uphold the rule of law and the accountability of government. They could do that through the impeachment process, and Mrs. Clinton no longer being the Secretary of State is no impediment to impeachment.”

Trump on FBI Backing Off: Clinton Being ‘Protected by a Rigged System’

“You can’t review 650,000 emails in eight days.”

GOP nominee Donald Trump declared Sunday that Hillary Clinton is being ‘protected by a rigged system’ as it was announced by FBI Director James Comey that the bureau is discontinuing its investigation into her home email server for a second time.

“Right now she is being protected by a rigged system. It’s a totally rigged system,” Trump said Sunday evening during a rally in Sterling Heights, Mich.

“You can’t review 650,000 emails in eight days. You can’t do it folks,” Trump exclaimed, referring to the sheer volume of material that was reportedly recovered from a computer belonging to the disgraced Anthony Weiner, who was in a relationship with top Clinton aide Huma Abedin.

Woman Who Accused Trump of Rape ‘Made it All Up’

It was supposed to be an explosive scandal that dealt a knock-out blow to GOP nominee Donald Trump’s presidential aspirations just days before Election Day: A woman was set to go public with her claim that Trump and a billionaire pedophile raped her when she was just 13.

The woman, who sued Trump under the name Katie Johnson on April 26, claimed he raped her at a 1994 sex party hosted by billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Johnson said she was treated as a “sex slave” who was subjected to rape, criminal sexual acts, assault, battery and false imprisonment.

The big problem?

Johnson reportedly “made it all up.”

That’s according to a new investigation by the Daily Mail.

“[T]he DailyMail.com has learned that the real reason the suit was dropped is because the claims were simply NOT true,” the Mail reported.

EU-Canada Trade Deal on Rocks Again as Holland Demands Its Own Referendum on Ceta

Dutch campaigners have gathered almost two thirds of the signatures needed to lay the groundwork for a referendum on Europe’s free trade deal with Canada, which they say overly favours the interests of multinational companies.

Bungling EU bosses celebrated last month after signing the deal following seven years of tense talks but admitted the full agreement is years off.

Nearly 40 regional and national parliaments are yet to green light the deal and Dutch campaigners could sink the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA).

Who Are These People Who Support Wynne?

TORONTO — OK, the big shock about the latest Mainstreet/Postmedia poll isn’t that 58% of all Ontarians believe Premier Kathleen Wynne should go.

No, the jaw-dropping number reported Monday is that 42% believe she should stay — even though a former senior member of her staff is facing bribery charges in the wake of last year’s Sudbury byelection.

Who are these people — and what would it take for them to wake up and smell the stench of rotten management and an arrogant disregard for the niceties of democracy?

‘EU Will Not Survive’ — Juncker’s Right-Hand Man Admits Defeat After Brexit

THE European Union project is on the brink of FAILURE following Britain’s momentous Brexit vote, a Brussels bureaucrat has admitted.

Frans Timmermans, Jean Claude-Juncker’s right hand man, gave a desperate cry for supporters to “fight to live together” as the EU superstate dream slips from Brussels’ grasp.

The European Commission vice president said: “We have fallen into the trap of identity politics. If the driving force of the European construction is national, cultural or ethnic identity, then it will not survive.

“For the first time in 30 years, I really believe that the European project can fail. “

Explosive Belt Maker Arrested in Saudi Arabia

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 7: The security authorities in Saudi Arabia have arrested the man who had reportedly prepared the explosives belt which was used by the suicide bomber to bomb the Al-Sadiq Mosque in downtown Kuwait City in June 2015, reports Al-Shahed daily.

The suspect, identified only as A.Z, was taken into custody by the Saudi authorities for his involvement in terrorist acts in Kuwait. It has been reported, his name was mentioned several times by the suspects who were rounded up and interrogated in the aftermath of the mosque bombing in Kuwait.

The sources added the Saudi authorities began looking but he was always on the move which made it difficult for the Saudi security authorities to arrest him. The suspect was arrested at a police checkpoint in Saudi Arabia. He reportedly reversed his vehicle and attempted to escape, but was caught before he could make the next move.

Another man, whose identity has not been disclosed, and who was wanted by the Saudi authorities, has also been taken into custody. The sources said the Kuwaiti and Saudi authorities extradite suspects wanted by law in their respective countries. Meanwhile, police have paid no attention to a call made by a Kuwaiti to the Operations Room of the Ministry of Interior, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily said the caller said he received an SMS from an unidentified source that his daughter is planning to marry a DAESH terrorist and that she is waiting to see his picture which is expected to be sent on WhatsApp.

Germany: Invasion Causes 31% Crime Spike

The German police have announced that crime in Germany rose by 31.6 percent in 2015, and said that this increase was due to the mass “refugee” invasion. This figure is not however the complete number, as these are only the crimes reported to the federal police-and do not include crimes reported to local police forces.

Germany: No Plans to Turn Back Boats

Contrary to controlled media reports, there are no plans underway by the German government or the European Union to “turn back the boats” carrying invaders across the Mediterranean Sea. The controlled media is currently widely reporting that there has been a “U-turn” in the German government’s approach, as the nonwhite invasion from Africa shows no sign of ending. All these reports are based upon an article in the German newspaper Die Welt, which quoted an anonymous spokeswoman for the German Ministry of the Interior as saying that they want “to send migrants rescued in the Mediterranean back directly to Africa,” as this would serve as a “primary deterrent” when they realize that the European coast can never be reached.

Germany No-Go Zones: Police Afraid to Go Into Lawless Areas After Open-Door Immigration

NO-GO ZONES are emerging throughout Germany as they have become “lawless” places where even POLICE are attacked as a result of mass migration, according to a report.

Gangs of men are preventing people from straying into once vibrant areas of the country for fear of violence, and abuse that even law enforcement has been unable to control.

There are as many as 40 places named in confidential police reports — despite repeated denials from officers — according to a report by US think-thank Gatestone Institute.

  1. Trump is winning. As Geert Wilders would say “geweldig” .Marine Le Pen has already sent a congratulatory message to Trump.
Congratulations America .Thanks from Australia to all who voted for Trump. Now the fightback can begin.

      • I disagree with your summation. As a whole, America is exceptional. Her leaders, not so much. Just as Brits inspired the rest of us with their Brexit vote despite a paucity of good leaders, so it is here. We made it in spite of what we were told was “best”…

        • I agree with you Dymphna. Let’s not accept the relativists speech codes wherever they are foisted. The relativists and our own use of their words, for we have become so indoctrinated with them, must be challenged. This is one way to fight back and reverse their corruption.

      • Countess-

I am not certain you have travelled, but I can tell you from my experience that, even after all the awful things our government has done in our name, there is *still* something of a halo effect to being an ‘ordinary,’ well-behaved American.

  2. Righty…….it’s finally done!

I really must stock up on popcorn now for Hillary’s trial….

    Happy days.

  3. Congratulations mainstream America! Looks like the “Deplorables” have had the last laugh. The fury and grief Lefties across the globe will be astounding. In the face of such institutional opposition, Trump and ordinary Americans pull off a political miracle that will have global impact.
    God has blessed America!

    • Institutional opposition? Do you mean churches, schools, unions, etc.? Even if something is preached in such places, that doesn’t mean anyone must do as they say.

      I wouldn’t call it a miracle.

  4. Good morning Schloss Bodissey. Greetings from Australia and congratulations on the USA’s election of Donald Trump as President.

I believe that President Trump’s election is the best thing to happen to America and the western world in many a year.

I also believe that Mr Trump’s election will tend to make your job and that of the counterjihad just a little bit easier.

Thank you Baron and Dymphna for your sterling efforts and congratulations again.

      • Madam: I can’t know what is troubling you today, but I’ve let your comments in and then must go behind you, cleaning up the snark.

The commenting rules on GoV demand a minimum of courtesy: you’re not forced to comment here but if you do appear, you have to obey the rules. They apply to everyone.

        • No offense meant. That expression saves on a lot of direct attention and individualized specifications and is rather common around where I am. It’s not really suitable for anything bad.

  5. It’s no longer a dream. Donald Trump is now the president, or will be as soon as he’s sworn in. Finally — common sense, something in really short supply these days.

I must admit I was amazed to wake up this morning to find that the Donald actually won over um, the witch. America still has a lot of common sense, evidently.

I think he will make our country great again, or at least closer to the greatness it once had. I know, David Brooks (NY Times) would have a hissy fit to hear all this (I read him this morning), but we, the common ordinary people of America are, I think, sick and tired of being accused of things we do not do, accused of not pulling our weight (our tax returns prove that we pull more than our weight), and finally, being accused of being some sort of pikers which is really beyond me. So if the Donald manages to make America great again, I will be cheering him on.

This is a great country and lately everyone has been so busy criticising it that they have forgotten that little factoid. Who brings in the most people “longing to be free”? America. Who gives everyone the vote? America. Who has always been the land of the free and the home of the brave? America.

Pardon me, I’ll get off my soapbox now.

    • Why were you amazed? Did I read that you live on the west coast? Why is it that people on the coasts think there’s nothing much between the mountains?

(May my California uncle rest in peace.)

      • Maria_dee has said many times she lives in Kansas…

I, too, am amazed. I thought for sure that with all the media, academia, Wall Street, etc., behind her that Hillary would likely win. My biggest concern was the rigging of the vote in urban areas. Virginia’s governor okayed the felon vote. 60,000 felons were given permission to vote and coincidentally VA went into the Dem column by 60,000 votes.

What does it mean when you say “people on the coasts think there’s nothing much between the mountains”?

There are two major mountain spines running north <--> south in the U.S.– the Appalachians in the East and the Rockies in the West. The former tend to be poorer than the latter.

        • ‘What does it mean when you say “people on the coasts think there’s nothing much between the mountains”?’

Correction: between the mountain _chains_ or “spines, if you prefer that word.

Many people arrived in “my” area to go to school in “my” day and I’ve met many who really wished they were back in New York or New England. Once graduated, they also re-located.

As for the eastern chain being populated by poorer people, indeed, one of my aunts was born kind of just west of a place called Cumberland Gap. We sometimes wondered why she would marry my uncle. I’m well aware of Appalachia.

As for Maria_dee, I thought she said from Kansas but that was no longer the case.

And, as for the string of postings this morning, I’m one of the fortunate few that has had the U.S. Air Force overhead for a lifetime. I appreciate people overseas thinking the U.S. is the greatest thing since sliced bread or maybe the internet, but I also realize those machines (aircraft) are destructible and pilots are just other human beings. We can help with some things, but it is a serious mistake for people in other countries to think the U.S. can be the salvation of the world.

          • I’m in absolute agreement with your last sentence. Maybe Mr. Trump can teach the Europeans, in particular, to grow up and take responsibility for their own security arrangements.

        • @Dymphna
Well that explains why my Trump vote in Virginia didn’t count. When I went to bed Virginia was leading in Trump vote but turned red. No matter, Trump won.

  6. My congratulations to my friends abroad, who I am quiet sure, not a single one voted for Hillary.
Once again you have proven to the world how democracy works – against the MSM, and against a corrupt elite who falsly belives that it represents the public opinion and the citizens in any way.
The evil witch is gone and that already is a victory in itself.
Trump has made many promises (like every candidate always does), now he will have to deliver at least with some of it.
But already this outcome of the vote is of some inspiration and hope for others elsewhere in the West.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLMVB0B1_Ts

    • Thank you!

And, thank you for again mentioning an important point: Those “who falsly belives that it represents the public opinion….”

A good administrator has a realistic view of exactly how much public opinion he/she represents.

  7. Once again, the common people of the USA have revolted, in the nick of time, against… evil is the only word I can come up with.

Just as Churchill knew that he had won the war when Pearl Harbour was bombed, many of us outside the USA surely feel that we’re in a similar situation.

    NEVER SELL AMERICA SHORT
proves to be true once again.

I congratulate the common “regular people” of the USA, for doing what they did, in the face of a massive barrage of propaganda, manipulations, and all the rest of it.

This isn’t just a victory for America, but for all of humanity.

    THANK YOU USA!

    • You’re welcome, but please don’t get too excited. We can probably easily level a mountain, but I don’t think we have yet tried moving any anywhere.

    • I think there is a world-wide (at least Western-wide) move against the elites and the problems they foist off on those least able to handle their excess. The Baron thinks…ah, well, he will be on later to give his own version of what happened on Nov.8th.

I hope this is just the beginning.

  8. Pardon me Baron and Dymphna but I feel I must respond to maria_dee.

Maria says, in part, “but we, the common ordinary people of America are, I think, sick and tired of being accused of things we do not do, accused of not pulling our weight (our tax returns prove that we pull more than our weight), and finally, being accused of being some sort of pikers which is really beyond me.”

Maria, I, as a proud Australian, believe that you, a proud American, not only pull your weight, but you do the heavy lifting.

Americans, at least in my lifetime, have been the cornerstone of freedom and selfless strength, and people like you, and the Baron, and Dymphna, are the cornerstone of who Americans are.

So, from the bottom of my heart, to all of you, thank you.

  9. All the cards that Mdme. Hillary-ous played have been “Trump-ed.”
It does not stop there. Those of us who are praying folk should fall to our knees in thanksgiving for the mercies and grace YAH has shown us. While we are on our knees we should then intercede that YAH would make Donald the president that He intends him to be. No less importantly, we should also pray for Obama & Co. and ask YAH to prevent any further iniquities being committed by the administration so that an America full of hope and trust in the Lord will be ready at Trump’s inauguration to correct the wrongs that have been committed and begin the process of healing that is so badly needed.

    • I’m glad to find friendly Greeks at any time. Long live the spirit of Aristotle (and friends).

      • Hi, thank you for your comment, which I see only today. I wonder why I did not get notified by e-mail. Or doesn’t it work that way in this site?

  10. If a person is 21 years old at election time and the sitting president has been in office for eight years, that person was only thirteen-years old when said president was elected. Now, what thirteen year old understands much beyond how to get home?

Young people tend to vote as they see the here and now. Old people, on the other hand, don’t really expect to see many more days ahead and may vote on personal principles held.

…Just a little something to consider.

    • Well, Nimrod, the US didn’t go off the lemming cliff on Nov 8th. There’s that. And there is a strong populist movement throughout the West. The elites demonize populists, always have. But they’ve been put on their back foot. Trump won’t be bowing or kissing anyone’s hand. Nor will you see him walking through the flowers holding hands with the Saudis…

Is that enough to save everyone? Probably not, but I hope it’s a beginning because the US needs the rest of the West.

    • Nimrod-

We can say that WW3 with Russia has probably been delayed at least 4 years.

For me, all the anti-Russia rhetoric coming out of the Hillary camp was a terrifying attempt to gin up anti-Russia hysteria in the West. I was certain that WW3 would have been initiated in Syria or Ukraine within 6 months of her inauguration.

  11. I have read this site for over a decade and have seen countless defeats to our culture, institutions and way of life. Brexit, for me, showed the first glimmer of hope.
Now we have a Trump victory. I have to say that I am amazed by it. As I watched my country swirl down into trans-gender bathrooms and new made up pronouns, having a river in pristine southern Colorado totally polluted through three states by EPA action I despaired.
Ms. Clinton represented to me everything wrong. You know when they say “name one good thing about your opponent” I actually couldn’t name a single thing!
But much to my disgrace, I took the temperature of the American electorate all wrong. I thought the American people weren’t paying attention. They didn’t see the destruction of their jobs and culture happening all around them. I was wrong…
I went into the voting booth yesterday and voted for Trump. Not because I like him but because a criminal family should not be able to rule me.
I live in a deep blue state and I encouraged others like me to vote even though we know our vote will not prevail (which it didn’t) in order to send a message to our gov’t that there ARE people that disagree.
Well again, I am sorry for not believing in America. I never expected this result.
I am glad this happened but I look forward to where this is going. I certainly hope he stops 3rd world immigration, H-1b visas and all the rest. I hope he does get people back to meaningful work and rebuilds our roads, bridges, airports, etc without the intensive graft and bribe taking.
    I really do hope so.

    • There is so much repair work to do…I hope he can make the transition from repairing physical structures (which he’s good at) to repairing our body politic.

The GOP(e) – which he’s not part of – is a mini-me for the Left. If he can get the majority Republican Senate and majority Republican House to work with him, we may be able to see some change. He owes no one, including the Speaker of the House. So let’s see who he appoints as DOJ’s attorney general, what he does with strengthening ICE and the Border Patrol, and how he reinvigorates an anemic, dispirited military.

[Babs, do you know which ship was recently commissioned only to find out they don’t have any ammunition for the big guns? Can’t find the link now. Lots of hollow-point ammo for the IRS, though]

I have the same hopes you do. Eisenhower built those roads and bridges. Let’s hope Trump can repair and replace. In a way, Trump is far more like Eisenhower than anyone else in the 20th century. He’s more or less apolitical (in the sense that he’s not an ideologue. Ike was courted by both parties back then), he doesn’t trust the government bureaucracy and he’s in favor of de-regulation. It would be interesting to dig up Ike’s old speeches and see how similar might be the talking points between these two men…

Obviously, we can’t turn back the clock – nor should we – but it wouldn’t hurt to examine some of the eternal verities the Left has tossed aside.

The problem with the deep blue states is that they impoverish large sectors of their populace. Small businesses are loaded down with regulations and fail at an ever-faster rate.

Yesterday in Virginia we got to vote on a referendum that would make the Commonwealth constitutionally a right-to-work state…I hope it passed. That would mean the unions, who are destroying the blue states with pension short-falls that promise bankruptcy in the not-too-distant future, couldn’t get their talons into the flesh of the Old Dominion.

      • Was it Boaty McBoatface??? Seriously, I hadn’t heard that.
I think your right to work ref went down. Correct me if I’m wrong.

        • Our Navy is being criminally neglected. Our whole military is, for that matter. Had Hillary gotten in, it would have become even more feminized. Another disaster averted.

I’m going to watching the prognostications for our military security carefully. We need a robust military but we don’t need any further “nation-making” abroad. We need a big stick to carry but we don’t need to keep using it to bash people. A lot of good innovation comes from the military sector, as Israel has proved over and over.

  12. I guess shortly after Inauguration Day we can expect a story about all of the T keys going missing from the White House keyboards.

  13. I’m a heathen from south america but I am very very happy for the triumph of Mr. Trump! as for witch Hillary.. the she beast had a criminal vision for the country, she can’t go unpunished for that evil! Dear Americans you have no idea how much we envy you down here, envy is the most sincere form of flattery, be proud of yourselves, be proud of your country don’t hear the voices of the people who hate you and want to turn your country into a hell like theirs. The hatred of the US in latin america is nothing but corroding Envy and sickening Jealousy, don’t let people who hate you tell you what to do!

  14. Today I feel hope! The despair is sometimes paralyzing but now it feels like an unstoppable, positive, force has been set in motion.

Heartfelt congratulations to America! I will visit your great nation in a couple of weeks with a smile on my face.

  15. ** The Franklin Coverup Scandal: The Child Sex Ring That Reached Bush/Reagan White House **

That was a scandal that overlapped slightly with the Craig Spence Washington call boy scandal. Young men were allegedly taken from Nebraska to attend parties thrown by Spence. His bedroom(s) were wired for sound and video, high Washington officials attended his “parties,” and the house was provided to Spence by the Japanese ruling party.

Spence mysteriously had the ability to take friends on midnight tours of the White House, which phenomenon has never been explained.

The scandal flamed out after a couple of weeks of coverage by the Washington Times and Spence apparently killed himself in a New York hotel room.

Franklin, Spence, the recent scandal in Britain, and the suspicion surrounding Jeffrey Epstein and certain other well know figures, not to mention numerous child disappearances that happen all the time, all suggest that what we’re seeing is but the tip of the iceberg representing the pedophile problem.

As an aside, I am not sure that Franklin implicated the Reagan White House but I could be wrong. I’ve not yet read the book about the scandal.

      • I believe you’re correct. Was there a connection between the Bohemian Grove (California) and the Franklin Cover-up (Nebraska)?

The FC has a lurid aspect per Wiki. I’ll reserve judgment on that. The allegation of boys brought in from Boys Town was a separate aspect to the Spence scandal but appears to corroborate one part of the Nebraska story.

    • That positive event unfortunately was followed by the rapid rise of the scheming destroyer, Merkel, in German politics. Had there then been a de-communization on the order of the post-war de-Nazification, Germany might have been spared the current catastrophe, at least Merkel’s artful orchestration of it.

The Kalergiization that appears to be at the heart of that catastrophe, however, is probably unrelated to the efforts of particular former communist zealots. More powerful forces appear to be at work.
