Gates of Vienna News Feed 11/25/2016

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has threatened to unleash a new wave of Third-World migrants upon Europe. Mr. Erdogan’s angry announcement about “opening the gates” was a response to yesterday’s vote in the European Parliament requesting that negotiations for Turkish accession to the EU be halted.

In other news, former British Prime Minister John Major says that a perfectly credible case may be made for holding another Brexit referendum.

Cash Crackdown Escalates: India May Impose 60% Tax on “Unaccounted” Deposits, Curbs on Gold Holdings

As reported yesterday, India’s unexpected crackdown on “black money” which saw the elimination of the old high denomination bills, is not going well, not only because former PM Manmohan Singh slammed the idea warning it would cut as much as 2% from the GDP of the world’s fastest growing economy, but because so far the voluntary participation in the “exchange” of old for new notes ahead of today’s exchange suspension (deposits of old cash may still take place until December 31) has been far below expectations.

As a result, the government is taking even more aggressive steps to part savers with their allegedly “laundered” cash, and as the Indian Express reports, Mody’s cabinet discussed amending laws to levy close to 60% income tax on unaccounted deposits in banks above a threshold post demonetisation of high-denomination currency notes. “The move comes amid banks reporting over Rs 21,000 crore being deposited in zero-balance Jan Dhan accounts in two weeks after the 500 and 1,000 rupee notes were banned, which authorities apprehend may be the laundered black money.”

[Comment: What about those people that hoard honestly earned cash since they don’t trust banks. Now they are classified as criminals. India has been targeted by the globalist banksters and their puppet politicians as the test bed case for the elimination of cash. This will not end well. ]

How the Government Will Take Your Cash: The Problem-Reaction-Solution of the Cashless Society

Depending on who you ask, the idea of a cashless society is either a utopia of modern convenience or an Orwellian nightmare, but recent international events coupled with stories about ATM cyber-hacks are fair signals that a major push for the cashless society is underway and will intensify.

“It seems the acceleration toward a cashless society is becoming like one of an amusement arcade amid the range of novel payment devices coming onto the market. These innovative payment devices are yet another novelty enticing customers toward fully traceable and trackable digital transactions, indeed cultivating user familiarity with a variety of cashless and contactless methods of payment.” ~Steven Tritton

In India, the government just banned the use of two of the most commonly used bank notes, the 500 and 1000 rupee notes (worth about US$7 and $14 respectively), and is reportedly making a move to restrict gold imports. Citibank in Australia just announced that it would no longer accept coins or notes, opting instead for digital transactions only. Denmark, however, may be the first country to go fully cashless, as its government has already begun implementing a program to move retailers off of cash, with the openly stated endgame of creating a fully cashless society…

Because an all out ban on coins and bank notes is not something that would not be unanimously acceptable, to push for such a drastic societal and cultural change, a predictable game plan is being used. It’s the simple dialectic of problem, reaction, solution.

We saw this in play as the threat of terrorism was used to fundamentally change the bill of rights and open the door for the creation of a surveillance and police state. We are seeing this in play right now as the push to control information has been introduced as a war on so-called fake news. Now, tell-tale signs are now emerging that the same type of media push is underway to make cash seem like a risky inconvenience in the modern technological world.

False Flags in the War on Cash

Consider the following stories, which foreshadow a coming public relations campaign to warn that developments in cyber warfare make the distribution of cash via ATM’s too risky to continue…

Of key significance is the warning that large-scale attacks on ATM’s are imminent in the United States. This will be pitched as a problem that must be solved by the cashless society, with every corner of our financial lives being watched over by the very banking system that is already plundering our economy and making debt slaves out of our posterity.

All This Silliness About Abolishing the Electoral College

By now, you’ve heard the disgruntled leftists parroting the sentiment that the Electoral College is an archaic relic that is either racist (what else?), or has obviously outlived any usefulness it may have once had. Therefore, in the interest of progress, it must be abolished.

Outgoing California Senator Barbara Boxer has recently introduced a doomed-to-fail bill meant to do just that.

This argument is, of course, painfully dim and tiresome. The Electoral College is one of many safeguards against what de Tocqueville would later describe as the “tyranny of the majority” that our Founders feared, or more specifically, the threat of a concentrated majority in a state that happened to be more populous than another. After all, it’s doubtful that Rhode Island would have chosen to ratify the Constitution and join these United States if they believed that their state’s unique desires at the federal level would be perpetually overruled by the much more populous New York, for instance…

The point is, it is only too obvious that the American people have turned on the Democratic Party, and that the actions of the Party for the last eight years are the reason for it.

‘Black Friday’ Channel Checks Turn Red: “Store Traffic is Subdued Across the Country”

Two days ago we reported that according to a troubling — for retailers — survey conducted by Reuters/Ipsos, nearly two thirds, or 63% of US adults, did not plan to shop on Black Friday. It is unclear what exactly is causing this sharp slump in US consumerism: according to Christopher Baldwin, CEO of BJ’s Wholesale Club, one excuse is that “Black Friday is no longer a one-day event; it has turned into a multi-week event.” Another possible reason is that shellshocked by soaring Obamacare premiums, US adults simply have far less disposable cash which to splurge on holiday trinkets.

Confirming the pessimistic outlook on this holiday’s spending season, Reuters reports that according to its own spot checks as well as those of reporters and industry officials, “store traffic remained subdued across the country.”

[Comment: Consumers are tapped out, higher energy prices (thanks to enviro wacko government policies) are eating their disposable income.]

Bookends to a Disastrous Presidency

To watch Barack Obama’s pathetic final non-victory lap around the world this past week, one can’t help but recall his stomach-churning “Apologize for America Tour” at the start of his administration. You’ll recall that in April 2009, he went to Europe, which we sacrificed tens of thousands of American lives to liberate 70-plus years ago, and informed Europeans that America “has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive” of Europe.

Last week, Mr. Obama could not resist the urge to dis his country once again, telling the “global community,” again from a foreign shore, that in the age of the internet, nationalism (read: Donald Trump) is rearing its ugly head.

Clinton Foundation Donations Fall Precipitously After Trump’s Election

Thanks to revelations by Charles Ortel, Peter Schweizer, Dinesh D’Souza, WikiLeaks, and Judicial Watch, the use of the Clinton Foundation by the Clinton family as its own personal piggy bank has been exposed. Donations began dropping off as early as 2014 but they have all but disappeared since Hillary failed to gain the White House.

The “quid-pro-quo” tacit agreements were exposed by the mainstream media with the Washington Post’s revelation in February 2015 that the Clinton Foundation “has given donors a way to potentially gain favor with the Clintons outside the traditional political limits.” Additional confirmation of financial shenanigans came from Charles Ortel, a Wall Street financial analyst who has devoted 15 months of his life investigating the foundation in all of its complexity. He concluded that “a substantial portion of Clinton Foundation activities is certainly not ‘charitable’ or ‘tax-exempt’ in the accepted legal sense” and that it instead has operated “in [the] guise of charity right from the beginning … all the way to the present.”

Election Not Over? Money is Being Raised to Challenge the Election Results in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania

Just when you thought it was safe to celebrate Trump’s victory, the left is hatching a plan to try to steal the election right from under his nose. A group composed of “prominent computer scientists” and “election lawyers” is urgently asking the Clinton campaign to challenge the election results in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. They claim that there is “persuasive evidence” that the election results in those states were “manipulated or hacked”, and they are pushing Clinton to file formal challenges to those results while there is still time to do so. As I write this article, the final result in Michigan could still go either way, and if Hillary Clinton does end up winning Michigan all she would have to do would be to flip the results in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania to become the next president of the United States.

Many on the left are absolutely incensed that Donald Trump is going to be the next president even though it looks like Hillary Clinton is going to win the popular vote by a very wide margin. In fact, as I write this article Hillary Clinton’s lead in the popular vote has expanded to more than 1.8 million votes.

After all of the votes have been counted, it is entirely possible that Hillary Clinton may finish more than 2 million votes ahead of Donald Trump.

In a desperate bid to try to salvage the election, an attempt is being made to push for recounts in the key swing states that Clinton lost. This is being talked about all over the mainstream media today, but it was first reported by New York Magazine…

[Comment: All those dead people and the ther fraudulent “votes” add up.]

How American Coal Could Come Back Leaner and Cleaner

After eight years of slow, excruciating decline, coal country had its revenge on the Democrats by helping take the White House away from them and giving it back to the one candidate that spoke to their pain. Unsurprisingly, the Left has responded by declaring Trump’s election a disaster for climate change, but even they should be able to find cause for optimism: after all, president-elect Trump’s transition message made it clear that it was clean coal he’d be bringing back.

In reality, new technologies mean coal power can be made cleaner than ever. By the EPA’s own measure, emissions of carbon dioxide and other pollutants released by coal plants have fallen by more than half over the last 40 years. There have been tremendous breakthroughs in clean coal technology, which uses carbon capture and storage (CCS) to remove the vast majority of carbon dioxide from coal power emissions. If this technology were given a genuine chance rather than being written off as a myth, clean energy might not have to mean an economic death sentence for tens of thousands of hardworking Americans. Under President Trump, clean coal looks like it will have its chance.

In this, as in many other things, we are already lagging behind. There are already successful CCS plants in operation overseas: a coal plant in Chennai, India, for example, has adopted what its creators described as a revolutionary new technique that can make clean coal commercially viable for the first time. Using a new solvent that reduces the cost of carbon capture by up to two thirds, the plant captures around 97 percent of carbon emissions at a cost of just $30 per ton of carbon — cheaper than most renewables. Further adding to the benefits of the process, the carbon is made into soda ash and used to make everything from glass to detergents. The plant in India is not the only successful clean coal project: the W.A. Parish plant in Texas is set become the largest clean coal plant in the world this year. With Trump in office, more are bound to come.

Left in Complete Meltdown Over Trump EPA Choice Myron Ebell

If you want to understand why the left goes so bonkers when they lose presidential elections, you have to recognize one thing: The left’s god is government, and they believe government exists to serve their agenda regardless of who wins elections. They think the Education Department exists to look out for the interests of teachers’ unions, for example, which is why they’re beside themselves that Donald Trump has chosen reformer Betsy DeVos to be Secretary of Education.

And if there’s one federal agency that the left believes it owns more than any other, it’s the Environmental Protection Agency. The EPA’s mission, as the left sees it, is to battle every form of capitalism, especially those involving the extraction and production of fossil fuels. The fact that a Republican is elected president makes no difference at all. It is simply not acceptable to have anyone running the EPA who does not embrace that ideology.

So they’re in a complete meltdown over Trump’s choice of Myron Bell for his EPA transition team — a choice that’s got them panicking Trump might choose Bell as EPA administrator. Indeed he might, and that’s inspired some pretty crazy behavior:

Loretta Lynch and the DOJ Are in Trouble! The American Center for Law and Justice (Aclj) Has Filed a Federal Lawsuit Against Her!

It looks like Loretta Lynch is getting ready to reap what she has sewed. She has held the FBI back in its investigation of Hillary Clinton’s email server. She improperly put a huge burden upon FBI Director James Comey to decide whether to prosecute Hillary Clinton. It is not the FBI’S duty to prosecute — they can only investigate and recommend an indictment. She should have been the one Comey went to while giving her the results of the investigation the FBI performed. Also, the FBI should have been able to do their duties as investigators without any intimidation by the DOJ.

The American Center for Law and Justice want to know why she met with Bill Clinton, the husband of someone being investigated, while her plane was on the tarmac in Arizona. She basically tainted the whole investigation by doing that. From what I have read the charmer Bill Clinton trapped Lynch in her plane before she left. We all know they spoke about the investigation Hillary was under at the time. What did Bill ask of Loretta? I think the American Center for Law and Justice will be asking the same thing. While Loretta was being questioned by the Press, she said they spoke about grandchildren and golf. I hate it when they treat us like we are so stupid. I am ready and waiting for Loretta to finally get what is coming to her. I thank the American Center for Law and Justice for all Americans!

Trump Spends Thanksgiving Working to Keep Carrier Plant in US Republican President-elect Donald Trump said on Thursday he was spending part of his Thanksgiving holiday trying to convince an Indiana air conditioner maker to stay in the United States — reflecting his election campaign pledge to stop the flow of jobs abroad. Trump’s Chance to Fix American Higher Education

One area ripe for review is the tax-exempt status of non-profit institutions that fail to include the full-range of American political views and to uphold constitutional rights on campus. Why should we be subsidizing schools that choose to function as one-sided partisan political instruments? Churches have long had their nonprofit status threatened for taking political stances; why should colleges, which preach leftist secular humanism and attempt to stamp out opposition, be immune from the same treatment?

U.S. Military Preps for Gene Drives Run Amok

If a tanker splits its hull and dumps oil into the sea, trained teams show up with specialized gear to begin the process of stanching the flow and cleaning up the spill. Today, there’s no equivalent team or tools for resolving a “spill” of genetic material into the environment, but that could soon change.

Over the next four years a new program in the Pentagon’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) plans to cultivate, among other things, a kind of cleanup crew for engineered genes deemed harmful to or undesirable in an ecosystem. The initiative, called Safe Genes, comes at a time when so-called “gene drive” systems, which override the standard rules of gene inheritance and natural selection, are raising hopes among some scientists that the technology could alter or suppress populations of disease-carrying insects or other pests in as few as 20 generations.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation sees so much promise in gene drive technology that it plans to double spending on its Target Malaria initiative, which aims to create systems for driving genes in two species of malaria mosquitoes, to $70 million. Yet without careful precautions, a gene drive released into the wild could spread or change in unexpected ways. Kevin Esvelt, head of the Sculpting Evolution lab at MIT Media Lab, which is applying for Safe Genes funding in collaboration with eight other research groups, predicts that eventually, perhaps around 15 years from now, an accident will allow a drive with potential to spread globally to escape laboratory controls. “It’s not going to be bioterror,” he says, “it’s going to be ‘bioerror.’“

Democratic Stasi Wants to Spy on AfD

Germany’s domestic secret police intelligence agency wants to officially start spying on the Alternative for Deutschland (AfD) party and Pegida, a leaked strategy paper has revealed.

The paper was written by the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV) chief, Hans-Georg Maassen.

Maassen’s paper was to have been presented to a general meeting of federal state BfV heads in Cologne last week, but the author withdrew it at the last minute, telling the 17 spy chiefs that it was “not yet ready.”

The paper was then apparently deliberately leaked to the Suddeutsche Zeitung newspaper.

The meeting was called specifically to discuss the “threat” posed by the populist movement in Germany-which they have defined as all those Germans who are concerned about the mass Third World invasion of their country which has been encouraged and supported by the Angel Merkel regime.

French Terror Suspects ‘Were Planning Attack on Paris’

Five men arrested last weekend in raids in France were planning a terror attack next Thursday in the Paris area, the city’s chief prosecutor says.

Francois Molins said the suspects were receiving orders via encrypted mobile apps from a commander of the so-called Islamic State based in Iraq or Syria.

The raids, in Strasbourg and Marseille, also turned up automatic weapons.

The five are to be placed under judicial investigation on suspicion of terror crimes.

Mr Molins said investigators had not established the target of the planned attack, but he said GPS co-ordinates were found on a USB stick.

Possible targets included the Paris law courts, the nearby headquarters of the judicial police, the Christmas market on the Champs-Elysees and the Disneyland theme-park east of the city, French media say.

The four arrested in the eastern city of Strasbourg — said to be in their 30s — are all French nationals of North African origin. Two of them had travelled to Syria last year, investigators are quoted as saying.

Germany Can’t Cherry Pick EU Rules Says Gozi

European Affairs Minister takes part in ANSA Forum

(ANSA) — Rome, November 24 — German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble has selective memory on EU rules, European Affairs Undersecretary Sandro Gozi told an ANSA Forum Thursday. Schaeuble this week chided the European Commission for allegedly not checking individual EU member countries’ budgets closely and rigorously enough, prompting Italian Premier Matteo Renzi to suggest the EC start by checking Germany’s huge trade surplus.

“(Schaeuble) often remembers the rules he likes, and often forgets the ones he dislikes,” Gozi said. “But when rules exist they must all be applied, including those on trade imbalances. “We want a more loyal Europe and more loyal ministers, who also apply the rules they don’t like as much”.

Gozi also said that EU member States that do not respect their obligations on sharing the burden of the asylum-seeker crisis should have European funding cut. Premier Matteo Renzi’s government has previously threatened to wield the EU budget veto unless countries like Hungary take in their fair share.

“Punish the European States that break the rules on solidarity, the rule of law and the right to asylum by reducing development funds,” Gozi said. “You cannot have the Europe of (the summit in) Bratislava, when the word Africa did not even appear and the logic of closure prevailed”.

Gozi also told the forum that Italy would not vote for the EU fiscal compact to be included in treaties. “We think that some rules do not work”, he said, since they would not help the priorities of growth and job creation. “We will open a debate on this” next year, he added, noting that the fiscal compact foresees an assessment on its performance five years after it came into force, and thus in 2017.

“Beginning in March, we would like to open a wide-ranging political debate” on the issue, he said.

Gozi also spoke about next month’s Constitutional referendum, saying that a Yes vote to the overhaul of the nation’s political machinery on December 4 would show that Italy wants change. “(A Yes win) would confirm to the world that the Italians have changed and they want to keep doing so,” he said. “A No (win), on the other hand, would confirm the image of the usual little Italy that falls under the thumb of conservation. “It would be awful news for our partners”. He blasted the No campaign’s threat to take legal action if the Yes vote wins by a narrow margin thanks to people voting from outside Italy. “I thought what Alessandro Pace said was astounding — the head of the No committee had the courage to say that if Yes wins he’ll appeal, if No wins he won’t. “Hats off. I hope these strange conceptions of legality and correctness are swept away too”.

Gozi said that the centre-right European People’s Party (EPP) must not be allowed to hold all of the EU’s top positions when Social Democrat Martin Schulz steps down as the president of the European Parliament. “Our position is clear,” Gozi said, when asked what would happen if the EPP obtains the EP presidency. “(Then) the question of Donald Tusk’s presidency of the European Council would open up. It’s not possible for the presidents of the Commission, the Council and the EP to all be EPP representatives”. Schulz has announced he is leaving EU politics to seek a seat in the German Bundestag.

Neolithic Ceremonial Site Uncovered Near Stonehenge

WILTSHIRE, ENGLAND—The Salisbury Journal reports that a ceremonial site dating to 3650 B.C. has been found at Larkhill, about one and one-half miles north of Stonehenge. The causewayed enclosure measured about 220 yards in diameter, and was surrounded by ditches. Pottery, worked flint, animal bones, and human skull fragments have been found in the ditches. Excavators also uncovered a stone saddle quern used for grinding grain.

The site is thought to have been used as a temporary settlement, where animals and goods could be exchanged, and for feasting, ritual activity, and disposal of the dead. The site is thought to be about 700 years older than Stonehenge, and to have been built by the ancestors of the people who built Stonehenge. The discoveries have the potential to transform our understanding of prehistoric Wiltshire and the Stonehenge area specifically, according to Martin Brown, principal archaeologist for WYG, the firm in charge of archaeological work at the site.

Mohamed Abrini-the terrorist known as the “man in the hat” after the March 2016 attack, was handed $3740 (ï¿1/23,000) by two men in Birmingham before flying to Paris.

UK: Brexit: There is a Perfectly Credible Case for a Second EU Referendum, Says Former PM John Major

Sir John Major, the former Prime Minister, has declared there is a “perfectly” credible case for a second EU referendum and warned that Brexit should not be dictated by the “tyranny of the majority”.

In his first intervention on the issue since the referendum in June, the former Conservative leader, who was in office between 1990 and 1997, told guests at a private dinner that the 48 per cent of people who voted to stay in the EU should not be denied a say in the trade terms of the deal.

UK: Man Fined for Punching Newborn at Supermarket

(London Guardian) A man who punched a five-day-old girl in the face at a supermarket has been fined after being convicted of assault.

David Hardy, 64, was told to pay a total of Pds 1,500 after hitting Elsie Temple as she lay asleep in her carry cot inside a trolley.

The attack happened at a Tesco store when Elsie’s mother, Amy Duckers, beckoned to a friend to look at her “beautiful baby”. Duckers told the court Hardy had rushed over and punched her daughter with a “clenched fist”.

UK: Sir John Major Says There is a ‘Perfectly Credible’ Case for a Second Referendum

There is a “perfectly credible” case for a second Brexit referendum and those who voted to remain in the EU should not be dictated to by the “tyranny of the majority”, Sir John Major has said.

The former Conservative prime minister told guests at a private dinner that the 48 per cent of people who voted for Remain should have their say on the terms of Theresa May’s negotiations.

In his first intervention since the vote in June, Sir John said he accepted the UK would not remain a full member of the EU but hoped Britain could stay as close as possible to the single market.

It comes after Tony Blair claimed that Britain’s exit from the EU could be halted, as he suggested that offering the public a “soft” Brexit will make them realise there is “no point” in leaving the European Union.

The former Prime Minister yesterday said that Britain should “keep its options open” over a second referendum but ruled out a return to frontline politics because there is “too much hostility towards him”.

In an interview with New Statesman magazine he admitted he could have held a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty in 2005 but said he would have been likely to lose if he had.

Drops the Mic… Hang on, Hackers Could be Listening Through My Headphones?

RealTek codec vuln can switch speakers from output to input

Experimental malware has highlighted the possibility that hackers might be able to turn headphones into microphones in order to snoop on computer users.

Research by computer scientists at Ben-Gurion University, Israel, has revealed that both headphones and loudspeakers present a potential bugging risk. The boffins put together proof-of-concept malware, dubbed SPEAKE(a)R, in order to validate the risk.

“Malware can use a computer as an eavesdropping device, even when a microphone is not present, muted, taped or turned off,” the researchers warn. In a paper, SPEAKE(a)R: Turn Speakers to Microphones for Fun and Profit (PDF), the researchers survey the scope of the risk and access potential countermeasures. Possible hardware-based defences include using only active one-way speakers or deploying either white noise emitters or an audio jammer.

John Bolton Warns That Obama May Divide the Land of Israel at the UN Before the Inauguration

Is Barack Obama about to make the most catastrophic decision of his entire presidency? Former UN Ambassador John Bolton is warning that there is “a lot of speculation” over at UN headquarters right now about “resolutions that recognize a Palestinian state or that try and set a boundary for Israel based on the 1967 ceasefire lines”. Of course this would have to happen before the inauguration of Donald Trump on January 20th, because Trump has already made it quite clear that he will not support any UN resolution of such nature. Knowing that Trump is about to take office, advocates of the “two state solution” are putting an immense amount of pressure on Obama to support a UN Security Council resolution that would permanently divide the land of Israel while he is still in the White House, and at this moment we do not know what Barack Obama’s final decision will be.

Most Americans have no idea that this drama is playing out behind the scenes, but those in the know are very much aware of what is happening. The Wall Street Journal recently published an article entitled “Obama’s Israel Surprise?” that discussed the possibility of Obama supporting a UN Security Council resolution that would permanently divide the land of Israel, and the New York Times editorial board has formally endorsed such a resolution.

The rest of the UN Security Council is ready to agree to such a resolution, and at this point the only obstacle is getting Barack Obama’s approval. That is why it was so exceedingly alarming to wake up on Sunday morning and read former UN Ambassador John Bolton’s very chilling warning about what could soon happen at the UN. The following comes from an article on the website of The Hill…

Caroline Glick: The ADL’s New Bedfellows

In an interview this week with the Australian media, Jordan’s King Abdullah became the latest Arab leader to express hope that President-elect Donald Trump and his team will lead the world’s to date failed fight against jihadist Islam.

Like his counterparts in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, Abdullah effectively ruled out the possibility that President Barack Obama will take any constructive steps to defeat the forces of global jihad in his last months in power.

Speaking of the humanitarian disaster in Aleppo for instance, Abdullah said, “I don’t think there’s much we can do until the new administration is in place and a strategy is formulated.”

Egyptian President Abdel Fatah a-Sisi was among the first Arab leaders to welcome Trump’s victory. Sisi has been largely shunned by the Obama administration. President Barack Obama supported the Muslim Brotherhood regime that Sisi and the Egyptian military overthrew in 2013.

Sisi was the first foreign leader to speak to Trump after his victory was announced. He released a statement to the media saying that he “looks forward to the presidency of President Donald Trump to inject a new spirit into the trajectory of Egyptian-American relations.”…

The Forgotten European Slaves of Islamic Barbary North Africa and Islamic Ottoman Turkey

“White slavery” is a common term, but it is unfortunate, as the slaves described in this video were not captured and enslaved because they were white, but because they were non-Muslim. Their capture and enslavement was based on elements of Islamic law that are still part of that law in all its various permutations and manifestations.

Anticipating Trump Crackdown on Illegals, Central Americans Surge to Border

Officials in several Central American countries have said that Donald Trump’s victory in the recent presidential election has prompted a new surge in migrants from their countries headed toward the U.S. border. The migrants, who fear that Trump will follow through on his promises to secure the border and to deport illegal immigrants, hope to enter the United States and apply for asylum before the new president takes office on January 20.

The story was reported by the Reuters news service, which quoted a statement from Maria Andrea Matamoros, Deputy Foreign Minister of Honduras. “We’re worried because we’re seeing a rise in the flow of migrants leaving the country, who have been urged to leave by coyotes telling them that they have to reach the United States before Trump takes office,” said Matamoros. “Coyotes” is the name given to criminals who smuggle people for profit.

Reuters also interviewed Carlos Raul Morales, Guatemala’s foreign minister, who said people were leaving Guatemala in large numbers before Trump becomes president.

New UN Boss Tells Europe Migration Unstoppable, Says Politicians Should Ignore Voters

“The idea that management of migration is a matter of national sovereignty is extremely limited”

The incoming Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) told a room of policymakers in Europe on Wednesday that “migration is not the problem but the solution”, and said politicians should ignore voters.

Speaking in Lisbon at the Vision Europe Summit, António Guterres said European nations have no right to control their borders and that they must instead take in floods of the world’s poorest people.

“The idea that management of migration is a matter of national sovereignty is extremely limited. The truth is that in the meantime, the real controllers of international mobility are the smugglers and criminal organisations. It must be recognised that migration is inevitable and will not stop”, the socialist told the crowd of policymakers and researchers.

Texas Judge Rejects Lifting Ban on Bathroom Decree

WICHITA FALLS, TX — Texas Federal Judge Reed O’Connor denied requests from two federal executive branch departments to lift the ban on the Obama administration policy to allow so-called transgender public school students access to the bathrooms with which they self-identify.

In his ruling against the Department of Justice and the Department of Education, Judge O’Connor stated “the Court finds that Defendants failed to demonstrate a likelihood of success or irreparable harm sufficient to justify a partial stay of the Court’s preliminary injunction.” Connor wrote that the federal statutes prohibiting discrimination on the basis of “sex”-the scope and meaning of which the federal government agencies claim now includes gender identity-were declared nearly 40 years ago. He referred specifically to the time gap between the passage of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and this year, when the Obama administration announced its new transgender bathroom guidelines for public schools.

“We applaud Judge O’Connor’s steadfast stand against the Obama administration attempts to impose its unlawful and harmful LGBT agenda on public schools,” said Mat Staver, Liberty Counsel’s Founder and Chairman. “The Obama directive is a lawless act and defies common sense.”

Antarctic Sea Ice Has Not Shrunk in 100 Years

Antarctic sea ice had barely changed from where it was 100 years ago, scientists have discovered, after pouring over the logbooks of great polar explorers such as Robert Falcon Scott and Ernest Shackleton. Experts were concerned that ice at the South Pole had declined significantly since the 1950s, which they feared was driven by man-made climate change. But new analysis suggests that conditions are now virtually identical to when the Terra Nova and Endurance sailed to the continent in the early 1900s, indicating that declines are part of a natural cycle and not the result of global warming.

  1. So Turkey sends migrants to Europe if accepted and Turkey send migrants to Europe if rejected. Hmm, what to do I wonder…REJECTED!

Forget the EU, how would Turkey like to be thrown out of NATO. Give it a couple of years with a strong US and just maybe….

    • Erdogan allows small numbers of ‘migrants’ to cross into Europe while ever Europe pays the jizya (Islamic tax on non-Muslims)

The Globalists have realized that their plan for total control is now in jeopardy with the election of Trump and wish to collapse Europe quickly to assist in bringing their plan to fruition now. The quickest way to do that is to open the flood gates to further but more massive numbers from the third world into Europe which will destabilize Europe via economic and social means.

And the quickest way to get those ‘migrants’ into Europe is to withhold Erdogan’s jizya and to theaten Turkey’s membership of the EU.

  2. Any way we can encourage Recep “Goat-boy” Erdogan to unleash the invading hordes upon Europe? Such an action should guarantee the election of Le Pen, and Wilders, and the toppling of Merkel by the AfD. Maybe the europeans might actually start deporting the invaders and start guarding the borders once again if compelled to by such an onslaught.

    • I agree. I hate seeing this slow sinking, the stealth jihad, hijra and slow islamization of the western countries. Let them come and make clear to all the natives still sleeping that either they get up and do something or just lie down and die! But this wish-washy politics of burqa ban arguments and sometimes catching some idiot terrorist wannabe just does not do anything to bring change.

      • Some will never wake up to what is going on around them while others will actively assist the invader. For a graphic example of that you could do no better than to look up the Nazi of occupation of France during WW2 and the many political actors who played a role in what now passes for ‘modern’ France.

  3. “Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has threatened to unleash a new wave of Third-World migrants upon Europe.”

Can anyone have any doubt that Erdogan is no friend or partner of Europe. He is an adversary and needs to be treated like that.

    • So Major and Bliar say Britain should/could hold another Brexit vote? Sound to me like nonsense the strata council where I live inflict on the residents when a legal, democratic vote doesn’t go the way they want it to; they hold a ‘reconsideration vote’.

My efforts to inform council that in doing so they are ignoring the result of a legal democratic vote, fell on deaf ears, and that is exactly what Bliar and Major are doing. Exactly what is the point of voting, if you’re going to just keep voting until you get the result you want? Sounds just like the E.U. to me.

  4. António Guterres can take those comments of his and feed them to someone else. All countries have a right to protect their borders. This is so obvious that I can’t see how anyone can even think of arguing against it.

I’d like to see him trying to convince Viktor Orban that it is not his duty to protect Hungary’s borders. I guess it is likely that our (US) president wouldn’t give a dime or a minute to consider that our borders are also to be protected, but what can you do with a communist anyway? (replace him!!!)

  5. There is a stealth effort to do away with the electoral college, going from state to state. This is the really dangerous one, claims the lawyer who is fighting it.
    http://www.nationalpopularvote.com/

As for Black Friday, perhaps we are all fed up with the consumerist nonsense. Perhaps Church of Shopping is being abandoned, despite all the propaganda to prop it up. Pushing people to spend money on crap that will end up in the dustbin as soon as the holidays roll around is not the way to make America great, IMO.

    • A little levity is called for here, and it came from–of all places–CBC Radio, which we call ‘Trudeau Radio/TV’, where one of the anouncers said:

“The Americans call it Black friday, hey isn’t that racist? We in Canada, particularly north Ontario are plagued by blackflies in the warmer months, so maybe we should just call it ‘Black fly day?” After which they played the famous black fly song by Wade Hemsworth. Google it.

    • This calls for a long answer, but I’ll be brief. Consumerism sustains demand, which generates profits, which (theoretically) produce tax revenues, which (at a minimum) pay for the police and military, street cleaning, education etc; according to your political preference, add health care, care for the elderly (especially those who were too poor to save for their old age), etc.
