ADP Employment Tumbles Near 3-Year Lows as Manufacturing Slump Continues

Payrolls for businesses with 49 or fewer employees increased by 34,000 jobs in September, down from 68,000 in August. Employment at companies with 50-499 employees increased by 56,000 jobs, up from last month’s 40,000. Employment at large companies — those with 500 or more employees — increased by 64,000, down from 67,000 in the prior month. Companies with 500-999 employees added 8,000 and companies with more than 1,000 employees added 56,000 in September.

Goods-producing employment was up by 3,000 jobs in September, following August losses of 9,000. The construction industry added 11,000 jobs, following August losses of 2,000 jobs. Meanwhile, manufacturing jobs were down 6,000 in September, after losing 4,000 in the previous month.

The decoupling between manufacturing and services employment continues to grow…

Backlash to World Economic Order Clouds Outlook at IMF Talks

Policy-making elites converge on Washington this week for meetings that epitomize a faith in globalization that’s at odds with the growing backlash against the inequities it creates. From Britain’s vote to leave the European Union to Donald Trump’s championing of “America First,” pressures are mounting to roll back the economic integration that has been a hallmark of gatherings of the IMF and World Bank for more than 70 years. Fed by stagnant wages and diminishing job security, the populist uprising threatens to depress a world economy that International Monetary Fund Managing Director Christine Lagarde says is already “weak and fragile.”

Workers demand 5 prayer breaks per day, each lasting nearly 20 minutes

Muslims are demanding that they be allowed to observe their prayer breaks during work.

That is a total of five fifteen to twenty minutes breaks spread throughout the day.

Costing the companies large sums in lost time and labor over the course of the year.

3yo Girl Dies After Being Left in Back of Patrol Car for Hours — Cops Given Paid Vacation

Two police officers are on paid leave while the department investigates the death of Cheyenne Hyer, 3, who died after being left in a patrol car for four hours. Amazingly enough, neither of the officers were arrested for the child’s death — as would have been the case had they not had badges. Glenn Grannon, with the sheriff’s department, said Clark Ladner and Cassie Barker were placed on administrative leave after 3-year-old Cheyenne Hyer died Friday. Sheriff Ricky Adam confirmed Barker is Cheyenne’s mother, according toWLOX.

Dire Free Speech Warning Issued by Executive Director of Kansas City Library System

The following story hasn’t received the attention it deserves.

Back in May, a man was arrested by a private security guard and an off-duty police officer after asking pointed questions to American diplomat and author Dennis Ross during a library discussion. When a library employee attempted to intervene, he was also arrested.

ABC News reports:

The executive director the Kansas City library system says he is “outraged” that prosecutors continue to pursue charges against a man who was arrested after asking pointed questions during a library discussion about the Middle East peace process and an employee who tried to intervene.

Although the arrests occurred in May following a speech by author and diplomat Dennis Ross, the library system only recently went public about its opposition to charges, the Kansas City Star reported.

DOJ Drops Charges Against Arms Dealer Who “Threatened to Expose” Hillary Arming Islamic Extremists

In what would under other circumstances likely be a major media spectacle, Politico reported that the Obama administration is moving to dismiss charges against an arms dealer whom it had accused of selling weapons destined for Libyan rebels and who had threatened to expose Hillary Clinton’s talks about arming anti-Qaddafi rebels.

According to a motion filed in federal court in Phoenix, the DOJ on Monday filed a motion to drop the case against the arms dealer, an American named Marc Turi. One potential reason for the surprising move is that as Politico writes, the deal averts a trial that threatened to cast additional scrutiny on Hillary Clinton’s private emails as Secretary of State, and to expose reported Central Intelligence Agency attempts to arm rebels fighting Libyan leader Moammar Qadhafi.

IRS Subjects Tea-Party Groups to New Scrutiny

(WASHINGTON TIMES) The IRS’ battle against holdout tea party groups is heating up again, after the tax agency promised it would begin processing their long-delayed applications, but sent a new round of prodding questions demanding still more information.

More jarringly, the IRS then publicly released one of the sets of questions it sent to the Texas Patriots Tea Party — a move the group’s lawyer says puts secret taxpayer return information, supposed to be protected, out in the public.

Polio-Like Illness Paralyzing U.S. Kids

(NBC NEWS) Little Carter Roberts, of Chesterfield, Virginia, was a typical 3-year-old — playful, healthy, and active. But over the course of a weekend Carter went from his happy-go-lucky self to a paralyzed patient unable to move his arms or legs.

“He needed a tube to help him breath,” says his mother Robin Roberts. “ Doctors were working really hard to try and figure out what was going on.”

At the hospital, the Roberts family was left with more questions than answers. Doctors considered a list of diagnoses from Guillain-Barré Syndrome to various other auto-immune diseases. Finally, after an MRI scan and hours of waiting, Carter was diagnosed with acute flaccid myelitis (AFM) — a mysterious muscle weakness, similar to polio — that appears to be on the rise this year.

Students Rat Professors Out for Conservative Views

In a scene reminiscent of Mao’s Cultural Revolution in Communist China, students of two professors who expressed conservative opinions at Grand Valley State University in Michigan reported their teachers to the school’s bias response team, The College Fix reports.

The College Fix learned of the incidents, which took place in the Fall 2015 semester, by way of a public records request.

Both academics are guilty of grievous politically incorrect heresies.

One professor said there are only two genders and objected to the use of made-up pronouns like Ze and Zir that have been pushed by cultural Marxists and the various species of kooks that feed off the public teat on the nation’s college campuses.

In the other incident, a professor said he believed children should be raised by a mother and father. After his students told on him, the chairman of that department had a “conversation with the faculty member about the incident.”

This is yet another argument for getting rid of the nation’s universities and starting over from scratch.

Free Speech Crackdown: EU Orders British Press Not to Reveal When Terrorists Are Muslims

A report from the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) found there was an increase in hate speech and racist violence in the UK from 2009 to March 2016.

Blaming the press, ECRI Chair Christian Ahlund, said: “It is no coincidence that racist violence is on the rise in the UK at the same time as we see worrying examples of intolerance and hate speech in the newspapers, online and even among politicians.”

The report makes a whopping 23 recommendations to Theresa May’s Government for changes to criminal law, the freedom of the press, crime reporting and equality law.

And despite the report not analysing coverage of the historic Brexit vote, Mr Ahlund saw fit to comment on the UK’s decision to leave the EU.

Intelligence Expert Warns Thousands of ‘Muslim Soldiers’ Are Ready to ‘Attack’ Europe

Laszlo Foldi claimed that “this is not terrorism in its classic meaning” as they aim to form a “mass base in Europe” by creating political parties to introduce Shariah law to the continent.

The claims were made during the astonishing interview on Hungarian TV, the ex-Director of Operations in the Hungarian Intelligence Agency.

When questioned about the migrant crisis across Europe, Mr Foldi said: “I think the problem is bigger than this: Can they tell, who are the one million people?

“So the situation is completely catastrophic from this point of view. And the reason for this — as we mentioned it many times — is the policy of open borders when innumerable masses arrived. …

“The oil countries are not letting them in because they know they are not capable of doing any useful jobs, but they also need a new mass base in Europe, once the oil runs out and they move over to Europe, to create political parties for them.

“These people will vote for the Islamic parties, which will be created in Europe; they will achieve membership in parliaments with their critical mass. For this, it’s a perfect occasion as Europe invites in their future potential voters.

More Cycle Lanes Are Being Built Across Britain

Cycle superhighways such as the one built on London’s Victoria Embankment are compromising key routes and causing gridlock and pollution, writes TOM RAWSTORNE.

More and more are being built across Britain, causing gridlock and pollution. But the maddest thing of all? They’re often EMPTY

The idea is to enable cyclists to travel safely, encouraging more people to ditch four wheels for two, and so cut pollution. Which are, of course, noble aims.

The trouble is that it is only now, with many of the changes finally being implemented, that other road users are starting to fully feel their impact — gridlocked streets bordered by cycle lanes that seem virtually empty outside the rush-hour.

Traffic delays are up, while average vehicle speeds in Central London have fallen to 7.4mph — slower than a horse-drawn carriage in the 18th century.

UK: Giant Asian Hornets Nest Takes Over Tree in Tetbury

A pumpkin-sized Asian hornets’ nest has been discovered in the UK just one month after the insects were first spotted on British soil.

The nest was found at the top of a 55ft conifer tree in Tetbury, Gloucestershire, close to where the insects were first seen.

They have since been spotted in six different locations, raising concerns about the threat to Britain’s honey bee population.

24 Kuwaitis Arrested in US Over Mobile Content

Well-informed sources said around 24 young citizens, mainly students and some tourists, had been arrested in the US over the past few months over the contents of their mobile phones or laptops.

The sources added that in view of the different rules followed in some states, many of the arrested citizens did not know the laws and regulations concerning what customs officers described as illegal content on their devices, and deemed such content as a threat to US security.

Further, the sources explained that one of the detainees was a 19-year-old student who has been detained for over a month now because of having “indecent photos of minors under 18” on his mobile phone.

Notably, Kuwait’s embassy to the US has advised citizens travelling to US to make sure their mobile phones and laptops do not contain any content of an extremist nature, related to conflict zones, terrorist groups or any form of violence. — Al-Rai

“The S-300 is a purely defensive system and poses no threat,” he said.

Americans Don’t Have Any Right to Block Islamic Immigration, Says Tim Kaine

Americans do not have any right to stop Islamic immigration into the United States, the Democratic vice-presidential candidate said Tuesday night.

“Hillary and I will do immigration enforcement and we’ll vet refugees based on whether they’re dangerous or not,” Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine said at the Virginia vice-presidential debate. “We won’t do it based on discriminating against you from the country you come from or the religion that you practice,” he said, in a reference to Donald Trump’s broad opposition to Islamic immigration.

“Discriminating” against Islamic believers “is completely antithetical to the Jeffersonian values,” Kaine claimed.

List of criminal incidents across the nation from the month of September…

Breitbart News has compiled a list of criminal incidents across the nation from the month of September, 2016, all of which relate to the United States’ immigration crisis.

In the month of September alone, a Turkish immigrant allegedly shot and killed five people in a Washington State mall; an Afghan immigrant allegedly planted bombs in New York and New Jersey injuring roughly 30 innocent people; a Somali immigrant allegedly stabbed nine people at a Minnesota mall; a twice-arrested illegal alien with a prior DUI conviction allegedly murdered a Kansas sheriff’s deputy; an illegal alien and convicted child rapist allegedly shot two California corrections officers; an illegal alien with a prior drug arrest, who had been a recipient of Obama’s executive amnesty, allegedly engaged in reckless driving killing a 12-year-old girl; a three-time deported illegal alien allegedly killed two people on what was described as a crime “rampage;” and a Mexican immigrant and Arizona pastor was arrested after it was revealed that he had allegedly molested children for years, many of whom are believed to belong to his church, and for impregnating one of his victims when she was 13 years old.

At the same time, a Department of Homeland Security audit revealed that over 1,800 foreign nationals who were slated to be deported were instead awarded U.S. citizenship.

The Archbishop of York Has Accused European Countries of ‘Shunting Migrants’ Towards the UK.

John Sentamu warned that the UK should not be viewed as a ‘soft touch’ as he claimed the refugee camp in Calais existed only because the Schengen Agreement allowed free travel without border checks, allowing migrants from the Middle East or Africa to move through Europe to the edge of the Channel without passport checks.

Sentamu told an audience at the Henley literary festival that Schengen countries needed to ‘own up to what they have created’.

According to a national newspaper, Sentamu said: “I think it should be that, wherever the asylum seekers arrive in that particular place, you have a responsibility for their care, their love.

“Schengen countries have not done that with the ‘Jungle’ and I, for one — as much as I am sympathetic and I feel sorry for the number of people genuinely seeking asylum — I think really the issue lies with the Schengen countries and they cannot see Britain as a soft touch.”

Sentamu, who fled the Idi Amin regime in Uganda in 1973 and moved to the UK, visited the camp in Calais in June of this year.

He insisted that the UK could not be held responsible for the camp because it had never been part of the Schengen countries…

20 thoughts on “Gates of Vienna News Feed 10/5/2016

  1. I believe this figure has been recently revised to nearer a 10K persons rescued.

The most important split not mentioned is how many young men were included within this figure!

Seen in Lithuania “Syrian” father complains his family have been cheated
As he (unable to work of course) can only claim lesser “benefits” than he would get in richer European Nations such as Germany or Sweden!

He intends to sue the United Nations for discrimination accordingly and no doubt some low life, left wing, money grabbing lawyer will jump at the chance to assist him.

This is atypical of the farcical “refugee” crisis, the vast majority are NOT fleeing terror, they are flocking to the the honey pot of stupid and gullible western countries to bleed them dry, spiritually, culturally and financially.

Stop the rescues – you pay a smuggler to transport you illegally across the Mediterranean, suffocate or drown, you have no right to expect to be rescued.

Paradoxically this simple action would in the long run actually SAVE lives if only the naive NGOs had the political will to implement it.

Greece an Italy are overwhelmed as shortly will be the rest of Europe too if this insanity continues. The point of no return is upon the west, IT CANNOT accommodate the millions of third world chancers gathered on the shores of Libya, Turkey and latterly Egypt, eagerly awaiting their chance to engulf the European continent, they bring nothing to the table,
Illiterate in their own languages, bringing unknown diseases with them, and an inbred self entitlement beyond belief.

WAKE UP EUROPE FOR GOD’S SAKE!!!!!!!

  2. These are figures that I have read. Putin has an 80% popularity rating and Duterte has 90%.

  3. “Brain size is not sign of intelligence.”

Overall brain size is moderately correlated with intelligence. The size of certain parts of the brain are very strongly correlated with intelligence.

While it is true that correlation is not causation and we really don’t know exactly what intelligence is, I argue that one is whistling past the graveyard if one denies that there is something there to be discovered.

The evidence is quite clear that intelligence, whatever it exactly is, is biologically based and at least partly genetically based (approximately 60% heritable according to the APA, a very liberal organization).

    • Also, “normal” is a pretty fuzzy word, but usually means one standard deviation either side of average, which is an IQ of approximately 85 to 115 for US adults. Some call “normal” IQ 90 to 110. Whether one uses 85 or 90, this is not a very bright individual, although perfectly capable of having a productive happy life if well brought up. A person of 85 or 90 IQ is not likely to be a Doctor, Engineer, or scientist.

  4. Oh, dear Lord. The [bad stuff] just keeps increasing. It is a crazy world and getting ever crazier. When will people grow up? Never, I suppose.

The “best” generation is far behind us and this generation is mind-bogglingly stupid. And we know, or should know, there is no cure for stupid.

    • But apparently there is; every day ‘looney’s’ are being pronounced ‘cured’ and turned out on to the streets, where they promptly kill or maim someone else–society never learns!

You’re quite right, there is no cure. A case here in Canada a few years ago involved an oriental who was travelling on a bus, and who took a young man hostage, killed and then beheaded him. The medical nutters, asked to account for this, said the oriental had forgotten to take his meds, so he wasn’t responsible for what he did–and the court accepted that! Of course he forgot his meds, and this happens over, and over, and over again!

  5. Duterte, President of the Philippines, is exactly right that the US and EU should stay out of his affairs. He chooses to violate the civil rights of drug dealers. Not exactly desirable, but if it’s a choice between that and the Mexican or Colombian drug wars, the civil rights crackdown is preferable. The fact is, the Obama and EU regime are bringing chaos, sabotage, and anarchy as a policy directive.

I also support Duterte’s rejection of US foreign aid. No reason we should be sending money to a country not contributing to our physical defense.

I note that the Putin government in Russia is continuing the Russian policy of massive civil defense shelters for its people. The US has absolutely nothing. The neocons and Democrats rattling sabers at Russia are consciously aiming at the destruction of the US people and constitutional government.

In fact, between bringing in hundreds of thousands of Muslims, including undercover Islamic State trained fighters, and tweaking a Russia fully prepared for nuclear war, it’s difficult to avoid the conclusion the Obama administration intends to dismantle the US in our lifetime, with the enthusiastic cooperation of neocon and establishment Republicans.

    • Shelters will be virtually USELESS in nuclear war. Immediate survival possibly, but then what? Society destroyed, no shops, no farms, no uncontaminated water and no idea how to survive without these things.
No-one can live underground for any length of time… ionizing radiation, fallout….. don’t be silly, people.

  6. The Italians complain about the “refugee” influx while every day sending ships to pick them up in Libya and bringing them over. Huh? There must be money in it.

  7. Sweden, Visby – Handicaped woman (33) in a wheelchair was raped for hours by 6 men (all around 20 years of age).

    http://nyheteridag.se/gruppvaldtagna-kvinnan-i-visby-ar-rullstolsburen-hon-har-mer-eller-mindre-brutit-ihop
    http://nyheteridag.se/misstankta-valdtaktsmannen-slapps-pa-grund-av-kvinnans-handikapp/

All were arrested but set free after about a day, because the victim hadn`t shown enough resistance (according to swedish law and/or the opinion of the prosecuting attorney).
The woman is described as beeing deeply shaken and traumatized by the crime.
No further informations were made official… by the officials.

    • Truly horrendous – why is there no angry response from the Swedish public.

These despicable creatures, having shown the depths of depravity in violating this poor disabled woman a wheelchair,
Are back on the streets free (as they surely will) to attack other Swedish women and girls.

Until these stupid judges and lawyers, the politicians who have created the inane laws that permit such a travesty too,
SUFFER some consequences for their actions, Sweden will slide further down the slope to 3rd world status.

What does it take to actually galvanising ordinary Swedish citizens into retaliatory action?

If you are not prepared to defend a handicapped women in a wheelchair from gang rape you are beyond redemption!

  8. “He chooses to violate the civil rights of drug dealers. Not exactly desirable……” Why not?

You and I are on opposite sides here; the way I see it, once one is responsible for killing someone (and drug dealers do just that) you have just forsaken your rights–and I sincerely wish many so called ‘judges’ would re-orient themselves on that, for nowadays the victims seem to have no rights and are soon forgotten, while villains have just no end of ‘rights!’

Agree completely with the rest of your comment.

    • Would you take away alcohol and tobacco merchants’ rights because their products sometimes kill people?

It’s the Drug War that really kills. Just like Prohibition, once.

But I think Duterte is backed up against the wall. He does not have the luxury of debating these finer points.

      • This year, to date, 20 people have overdosed on fentanyl in Nanaimo, Vancouver Island, 39 in Victoria, 488 across British Columbia. Just this year.
These people all all died from pills bought from the pushers, and you appear to be saying those pushers should be afforded the same rights as those running the government liquor stores?

Not that I lose any sleep over those who overdosed; drugs prescribed by doctors or used in hospitals are one thing, but people who buy pills in a back alley from some greasy drug pusher they barely know, and who actually ingest said pills, deserve all they get in my opinion.

        • People overdose on illegal drugs most often because the dosing is uncertain. And it is uncertain because it’s illegal, therefore unregulated.

Well, they may deserve all they get, but I don’t think the rest of us deserve the high costs of the drug war, and the lost revenues that go to criminals instead. We complain here that people never learn about Islam, but what about “people never learn” from the Prohibition?

Yeah, you know, Colorado affords marijuana “pushers” the same rights now as liquor store owners/employees, and the world has not caved in. In fact, Colorado is thriving, and some prisons had to be closed.

      • A smoker LIES!

        Revised May 2016

Tobacco use is the leading preventable cause of disease, disability, and death in the United States. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), cigarette smoking results in more than 480,000 premature deaths in the United States each year—about 1 in every 5 U.S. deaths—and an additional 16 million people suffer with a serious illness caused by smoking. In fact, for every one person who dies from smoking, about 30 more suffer from at least one serious tobacco-related illness.1

The harmful effects of smoking extend far beyond the smoker. Exposure to secondhand smoke can cause serious diseases and death. Each year, an estimated 88 million nonsmoking Americans are regularly exposed to secondhand smoke and almost 41,000 nonsmokers die from diseases caused by secondhand smoke exposure.1-2

About a day after their arrest the 6 (all around 20 years of age) were set free again (no word if the charges were upheld).
It`s said that the (handicaped) woman hadn`t shown enough resistance.
Her bruises and scratches proof something different.
The victim is being described as traumatized and deeply shaken by the crime.
