Gates of Vienna News Feed 10/14/2016

Geert Wilders, the leader of the Party for Freedom (Partij voor de Vrijheid, PVV) in the Netherlands, will stand trial on a “hate speech” charge. A panel of judges, after considering a motion by Mr. Wilders’ counsel, declined to dismiss the charges against him. His “crime” is to have asked his supporters whether they wanted more or fewer Moroccans in the Netherlands.

In migration news, it has now emerged that a Syrian “refugee” who planned to bomb Berlin airport was not radicalized in Syria, as was originally thought, but after he arrived in Germany.

Meanwhile, the Slovakian authorities have charged five people with smuggling migrants. Also, a migrant family in Germany attempted to sell their newborn baby on eBay.

“The WikiLeaks Bombshell Never Discussed by Media” (How Hillary Really Feels About US All)

Less than a month to go before the election, the revelations are piling up.

Bombshell after bombshell has come out from the latest round of Wikileaks documents about Hillary.

What the GOP could get from testimony and official investigative vetting of the former Secretary of State has been produced by the robin hoods of the digital age.

Despite clear evidence that the future Madam President has colluded with unsavory foreign leaders, traded access for cash and engaged in an enterprising empire of cronyism in toppling countries and exchanging no-bid contracts to manage the messes made all across the globe… and obviously much, much more… despite all this, Hillary remains closer than ever to the coveted White House, the prime lobbyist-in-chief office for the military industrial complex and various other related tentacles of the establishment.

Among other scandals that have been summarily dismissed by the military comes a document showing clearly that Hillary Clinton and her staff literally discussed the blowback of a system that willingly produced a population of unaware, trendy people now gripped by social media.

The Trump phenomenon — of an unstoppable celebrity entertainment figure assuming the mold of actual leader — is quite dangerous indeed, and something that the Clinton campaign must account for:

“As I’ve mentioned, we’ve all been quite content to demean government, drop civics and in general conspire to produce an unaware and compliant citizenry.

The unawareness remains strong but compliance is obviously fading rapidly.”

Not only does this pile into the basket of deplorables, basement dwellers and right wing conspirators that she has herself created, but it defines the true context of the question we have all been asking ourselves — how did things ever get so debased in American politics; how did things go so wrong?

There are many pieces to that puzzle, but the pied-piper media is a major component, and Hillary has long positioned herself as an undisputed ringmaster of media manipulation. That her trail of scandals could surface, but remain unable to sink her campaign is testament to her formidable power leading into 2016.

via Paul Joseph Watson:

“While the media was distracting you with Trump saying the word “pussy” 11 years ago, huge revelations emerged.” The real politik assessment of the dulled, drugged and dumbed-down American voter pool is cynical, but not without merit.

And it also comes as confirmation to all those who see the lies and deceptions on a daily basis — that politicians do see themselves as herding a population of sheep.

Now, the Clinton campaign has actually spoken in those terms. Hillary literally hates the “everyday Americans,” the rednecks and the bitter clingers. But she hates all the rest of them too, an excuse to detach from every needs from ordinary people, and convince herself that she is entitled to rule over everyone, to seize power and to use deception as a necessary means to that end.

The Internet and social media continue to present myriad challenges to the establishment, who are seeking to contain the genie that they have let out of the bottle.

Donald Trump Takes on the ‘Corrupt Establishment’ In Florida: ‘It Has No Soul’

“The Clinton machine is at the center of this power structure,” Trump alleged of his opponent, Hillary Clinton. “Honesty, she should be locked up.”

“The Clintons are criminals,” Trump alleged, saying the establishment covers up wrongdoing in order to keep them in power.

Trump also said the “corporate media” is no longer involved in journalism, but rather has a political, special interest agenda. “The agenda is not for you. It’s for themselves.”

“Their agenda is to elect crooked Hillary Clinton at any cause, at any price, no matter how many lives they destroy,” he said adding, “for them, it’s a war… and for them, nothing at all is out of bounds.”

Former Miss Teen Slams Media Witch Hunt Against Trump: He Was “An Absolute Gentleman”

“I’m sure that none of my interview will make the news”

Former Miss Nebraska Teen contest winner Natasha Rickley has slammed the media witch hunt against Donald Trump, revealing that ABC News contacted her trying to get dirt on Trump but that she told them he was “an absolute gentleman”.

“I was contacted today by a producer at ABC News in New York. She is wanting to question me regarding the Miss Teen USA allegations. They also let me know that they are reaching out to all of my fellow contestants from 1997,” wrote Rickley on her Facebook page.

“I am going to be very truthful and let ABC know that Donald Trump was an absolute gentleman. I never witnessed any inappropriate behavior whatsoever the entire 2 weeks that I participated in the pageant. I’m sure that none of my interview will make the news since I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with Donald. I do find it interesting and important for people to know that these are the depths the media is going to for their smear campaign,” she added.

Hillary and the Fundamental Legal Premise of Tyranny

We now know that the FBI’s dereliction of duty regarding Hillary Clinton’s e-mail malfeasance is complete. Not only did Director James Comey have the gall to explain her guilt in the very statement in which he announced that he (against the better judgment of some agents) would not recommend charges against her, but the FBI actually agreed to destroy laptops containing relevant evidence, thereby handicapping any future investigation.

Loyal Democrat voters could breathe easily again. For months, they had squirmed under the awkward burden of knowing their presidential nominee had been caught violating federal law. Let me emphasize that point. They were not afraid their nominee had broken the law; they believed, as we all did, that she had broken it. (Not only do I feel confident in asserting that most of Clinton’s supporters know she violated the law; in assuming this, I am actually applying the principle of charity, as I am granting that her supporters have enough common sense to see the obvious.) The important question in their minds was whether she would actually be prosecuted for her violation, as any of us would certainly be in like circumstances.

Leaked Emails Show Clinton Campaign Coordinating With Soros

Leaked emails from Hillary Clinton campaign manager John Podesta’s personal email account published by WikiLeaks reveal the Clinton campaign’s coordination with George Soros’s Open Society Foundations on the subject of police reform.

Soros, who has given almost $10 million to Clinton super PAC Priorities USA, is a major funder of Black Lives Matter. The Washington Times reported in August that Soros has given at least $33 million to the group through the Open Society Foundations (OSF), which he funds and controls.

Both OSF and Clinton have called to crack down on police officers’ “implicit bias.”

As reported by The Daily Caller last month, internal OSF documents say the mainstreaming of “implicit bias” is meant to serve as a foundation from which to overhaul the nation’s anti-discrimination laws and make it easier to file racial discrimination lawsuits by eliminating the need to prove intent.

Media Ignores Gut-Wrenching Tweets From Victim of Rapist That Hillary Helped Set Free

Kathy Shelton was raped when she was an innocent 12-year-old girl, but Hillary Clinton helped give legal representation to her rapist leading to his getting away with the crime. This victim’s story is heart-rending and a recent series of tweets should have been a major deal in the media if they weren’t all so obsessed with audio tape of Donald Trump saying mean things.

I may be Hillary Clinton’s 1st female victim. She ruined my life; defended my rapist & blamed me. I was 12 yrs old. Then she laughed at me.

Obama and Clinton Framed Contractor for Their Illegal Arms Smuggling

The recently released American arms dealer Marc Turi, in his first exclusive television interview since Attorney General Loretta Lynch dropped all criminal charges against him, said that the Obama administration — with the help of Hillary Clinton’s State Department — tried and failed to make him the scapegoat for a 2011 covert weapons program to arm Islamic rebels in Libya that created chaos and death. [YouTube Link]

Turi was a known international weapons dealer — who had threatened the Obama administration that he would testify about information regarding then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s arming of Islamist “freedom-fighters” in Syria after having the CIA collect them in 2011-12 in Libya. Many believe that’s why he was released without a trial.

“I would say, 100 percent, I was victimized…to somehow discredit me, to throw me under the bus, to do whatever it took to protect their next presidential candidate [Hillary Clinton],” he told Fox News chief intelligence correspondent Catherine Herridge.

(…)

In a far-reaching investigative report by this writer (Jim Kouri) for the media watchdog group Accuracy in Media, Kouri revealed that the Obama administration officials — with the awareness of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton — were involved in violating a ban on arming rebels in Syria in an operation that mirrors the Iran-Contra scandal during the Reagan Administration. But while the news media initiated a feeding-frenzy on Iran-Contra, they’re either yawning or helping the Obama administration in covering up the Benghazi-to-Syria arms transfers.

The Corrupt Democrat-Media Complex Seeks Clinton Victory

While the left-wing, so-called mainstream media continue to raptly discuss dissension within the Republican Party and Republicans who oppose Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, the media are quietly ignoring evidence of their own enduring and pervasive bias on behalf of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. The recent WikiLeaks documents about Mrs. Clinton’s Wall Street speeches are receiving some coverage. However, few in the media want to repeat the names of those reporters who have directly promoted the Hillary campaign.

Using leaked documents from Guccifer 2.0, The Daily Caller reports that campaign chairman Joel Benenson had cocktails with a number of reporters on April 10, 2015 on subjects including to “give reporters their first thoughts from team [Hillary Clinton] in advance of the announcement” and “framing the [Hillary Clinton] message and framing the race.” It was just two days later that Mrs. Clinton announced she was running for president.

Among the reporters who said they were attending this cocktail party were ABC’s George Stephanopoulos and The New York Times’ Maggie Haberman, who formerly worked for Politico. One of the campaign’s memos, The Daily Caller reports, describes Haberman’s many favors for the Clintons. “We have [had] a very good relationship with Maggie Haberman of Politico over the last year. We have had her tee up stories for us before and have never been disappointed,” states the memo.

The FBI in Open Revolt Against a Deceitful Director

Former U.S. Attorney: Agents See FBI Chief Comey as a ‘Dirty Cop’

James Comey presides over an FBI in revolt over his leadership, a former U.S. attorney tells The American Spectator, and pursues “paranoid, delusional, and vindictive” measures to prevent negative information leaking out to the public.

“I know that inside the FBI there is a revolt,” Joseph diGenova tells The American Spectator. “There is a revolt against the director. The people inside the bureau believe the director is a dirty cop. They believe that he threw the [Hillary Clinton email] case. They do not know what he was promised in return. But the people inside the bureau who were involved in the case and who knew about the case are talking to former FBI people expressing their disgust at the conduct of the director.”

The loss of faith in the bureau chief stems in part from a dishonest rendering of the decision not to indict Mrs. Clinton as unanimous rather than unilateral and in part from the bureau’s decision to destroy evidence in the case and grant blanket immunity to Clinton underlings for no possible prosecutorial purpose.

“There is a consensus among the employees that the director has lost all credibility and that he cannot lead the bureau,” diGenova explains. “They are comparing him to L. Patrick Gray, the disgraced former FBI director who threw Watergate papers into the Potomac River. The resistance to the director has made the agency incapable of action. It has been described to me as a depression within the agency unlike anything that anyone has ever seen within the bureau. The director’s public explanation for the unorthodox investigation are viewed by people in the bureau as sophomoric and embarrassing.”

Comey maintained in July that he came to the decision to recommend not indicting Clinton for the inclusion of classified material in 110 emails stored on a private server based on an “entirely apolitical and professional” investigation despite conceding that others in a similar spot would face “consequences” and that “evidence of potential violations” existed. He insisted then, “No outside influence of any kind was brought to bear.”

But agents trained to sniff out malfeasance smell something rotten here.

“When the director said that it was a unanimous decision not to recommend prosecution, that was a lie,” diGenova points out. “In fact, the people involved in the case were outraged at his decision, which he made by himself. When people realized that he was lying publicly about their role and when they knew he had approved of the destruction of laptops that were subject to congressional subpoena, that flipped the switch.”…

The Republican Party Has Spent $0 on TV Ads for Trump After Spending $42 Million for Romney in 2012

With so much stacked against him, can Donald Trump pull off a miracle and actually win this election? Right at this moment, things are looking quite grim for the Trump campaign. Following the release of the lewd audio tape, six women have come forward and have accused him of doing the exact sorts of things that he admitted to on that tape, and the mainstream media is going after him with all they’ve got. Of course the Clintons have done far worse things than Trump has, and that is the case that Trump must make to the American people in the last 25 days of this election. But it certainly isn’t helping that Trump is receiving very little help from his own party. In fact, earlier today Politico published an article entitled “RNC TV ad spending for Trump: $0” which documented the fact that the Republican National Committee has not spent a single penny on television advertising for Trump so far in 2016.

If the Republican National Committee had treated past candidates similarly, this wouldn’t be an issue. But as Politico has pointed out, that definitely is not the case…

Kathleen Wynne Blames Your Family for Costly New Tax

Kathleen Wynne has mismanaged the economy, the electricity system, the provincial budget and can’t afford to keep the government running

Premier Kathleen Wynne is worried about what she calls “very bad actors” in Ontario. While defending her government’s new tax on home heating fuels and gasoline, the premier said that the new tax is necessary because Ontarians are “very bad actors in terms of our per capita emissions.” That’s right, the new tax on keeping your family warm in the winter and on your daily commute to work is because Ontarians are “bad actors.”

Forget about the fact that colder climates and countries with broad and expansive geography will naturally have higher per capita emissions. We can’t change the very nature of our country. The real question is why per capita emissions are an issue.

In total, Canada contributes about 1.65 per cent of global greenhouse gas emissions. If we each reduced our per capita emissions, it would achieve absolutely nothing for global emissions, and at tremendous cost.

Even if the entire Canadian economy shut down, global emissions would still continue to climb. When politicians are willing to impose a massive new tax for zero practical benefit we should ask why.

The answer is obvious: $2 billion a year in revenue from the new tax for Kathleen Wynne and her government to spend.

Geert Wilders’ Trial to Proceed on Hate Charges Over “Fewer Moroccans” Comments in 2014 Campaign

SkyNews reported that Geert Wilders will stand trial on criminal charges of violating the Dutch hate speech laws,”Geert Wilders hate speech charges upheld in court.” His counsel had filed a motion with the Hague court to dismiss the charges, The case against Wilders arose from petitions filed with the Hague prosecutors by Dutch Muslims and leftist allies that his 2014 local campaign remarks of ‘fewer Moroccans” constituted prosecutable violations of hate speech laws in the Netherlands. Wilders’ counsel has also questioned possible bias in the three judge tribunal. Wilders had been acquitted of similar charges in a trial in the Amsterdam Distirct Court in 2011. The trial comes at a time where Wilders’ Freedom Party (PVV) has risen near the top of Dutch political polls close behind the ruling coalition of PM Mark Rutte’s VVD party in the Hague Parliament. Wilders’ counsel has also questioned the validity of the submitted pettioners that the Hague prosecutors have based their charges.

Hungary: Help Persecuted Christians, Beware Muslims

The nation of Hungary recently did something as unprecedented as it is commonsensical and humanitarian: it “has become the first government to open an office specifically to address the persecution of Christians in the Middle East and Europe.”

Zoltan Balog, Hungary’s Minister for Human Resources, explained:

Today, Christianity has become the most persecuted religion, where out of five people killed [for] religious reasons, four of them are Christians.

In 81 countries around the world, Christians are persecuted, and 200 million Christians live in areas where they are discriminated against. Millions of Christian lives are threatened by followers of radical religious ideologies.

“Followers of radical religious ideologies” is of course code for Muslims — they who are responsible for the overwhelming majority of Christian persecution in the world.

This move comes “after Hungary’s right-wing prime minister, Victor Orban, drew criticism in the EU by saying Europe should focus on helping Christians before helping millions of Muslims coming into Europe.”

Orban explained: “If we really want to help, we should help where the real problem is… We should first help the Christian people before Islamic people.”

UNESCO Says New York is Not Part of America

A day after declaring that there is no Jewish connection to the Western Wall and Temple Mount, next on the agenda for UNESCO is New York City, which the UN agency says is also disconnected and not part of the United States. From now on, New York City will be known by its Arabic name.

Infidels must leave.

UNESCO is headquartered in Paris. This could create a problem for the thousands the UN employs at what used to be the capital of France.

Would they be moved to London?

“No,” we were told. “London is next to go. There is no evidence that London was ever a part of Britain.”…

Caroline Glick: From Yemen to Turtle Bay

Off the coast of Yemen and at the UN Security Council we are seeing the strategic endgame of Barack Obama’s administration. And it isn’t pretty.

Since Sunday, Iran’s Houthi proxies in Yemen have attacked US naval craft three times in the Bab al Mandab, the narrow straits at the mouth of the Red Sea. The Bab al Mandab controls maritime traffic in the Red Sea, and ultimately control the Suez Canal.

Whether the Iranians directed these assaults or simply greenlighted them is really beside the point. The point is that these are Iranian strikes on the US. The Houthis would never have exposed themselves to US military retaliation if they hadn’t been ordered to do so by their Iranian overlords.

The question is why has Iran chosen to open up an assault on the US?…

Hillary Clinton Wants to Do This Again — Now to Syria

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (and President Obama — and some NATO partners) did it previously to Libya, and here was the result (as discussed by the retired British career diplomat Craig Murray, at his craigmurray.org.uk, who has kindly allowed me to distribute it to other newsmedia) [and I as editor will add a few clarifiers and questions in brackets] (and then afterward, I shall add my own comments); so, here is Craig Murray:

This is the result of NATO bombing of Sirte to “enforce the no-fly zone” in Libya.

When the neo-cons in the UK parliament and the serial warmonger Hillary Clinton call for a “no-fly zone” they actually mean the opposite. They mean that NATO should be given untrammelled access to the [Syrian] airspace to carry out mass bombings — but that nobody else [including the Syrian government] should.

We saw it in Libya. The argument goes like this. NATO aircraft need to enforce the no-fly zone. To do this in safety, they need to attack and destroy any ground-to-air weapons capabilities on the ground. That does not just include surface-to-air missiles, both carriage mounted and hand held, but anything that can be pointed upwards and fired. They need to take out by more bombing any stores that may house such weapons. They need to take out any radar installations, including civilian ones, that may pinpoint NATO aircraft. They need to destroy any runways and hangars, including civilian ones. They need to destroy by bombing all military command and control centres, including those in built-up areas. They need to destroy the infrastructure on which air defence relies, including electricity generation and water supply, including civilian assets.

Royal Air Force Pilots Ordered to Shoot Down “Hostile” Russian Jets Over Syria

As the US officially enters the Yemen military campaign, the UK appears ready and willing to precipiate a catalytic event from which there is no going back. With relations between Russia and the West at post-Cold War lows and deteriorating fast, Royal Air Force (RAF) pilots have been given the go-ahead to shoot down Russian military jets when flying missions over Syria and Iraq, if they are endangered by them. The development comes with warnings that the UK and Russia are now “one step closer” to being at war, according to the Sunday Times.

While the RAF’s Tornado pilots have been instructed to avoid contact with Russian aircraft while engaged in missions for Operation Shader, the codename for the RAF’s anti-Isis work in Iraq and Syria, their aircraft have been armed with air-to-air missiles and the pilots have been given the green light to defend themselves if they are threatened by Russian pilots.

Video: Militant Groups Leaving Aleppo City. Al Qaeda Rebels Hand in Their Weapons… US-Saudi Redeployment of ISIS Terrorists From Iraq to Syria

In Hama province, the Syrian army’s Tiger Forces and its allies have been continuing operations against the joint terrorist forces. Intense clashes are ongoing at the Tell Buzam front. Russian and Syrian warplanes are pounding terrorist units near Ma’an, Souran and Tal Al-Sawwan as a pretext for further offensives by the government forces.

The High Command of the Syrian Arab Army and militant groups started negotiations on allowing the militant groups’ members a free passage from the eastern Aleppo pocket. In case of success, the army will set control of Bustan Al-Qasir Neighborhood. Nonetheless, Jabhat al-Nusra and Nour Eddine Al-Zinki, that are main striking forces of the Jaish al-Fatah operation room in Aleppo, refuse to negotiate with the government.

Over 600 militants have handed over their heavy weapons and military equipment to the Syrian army in Damascus countryside. About 200 militants and their families will be evacuated from al-Hamah and Qudsiyah while others will use an opportunity to get a pardon from the government. Then, the government forces will set full control of al-Hamah and Qudsiyah.

The US and Saudi Arabia have agreed to grant free passage to over 9,000 of Islamic State terrorists before the Iraqi city of Mosul is stormed. The jihadists will be redeployed to fight against the government in Syria, the media reported, citing various military and diplomatic sources. This will allow them to carry out operations against the government-controlled cities of Deir Ezzor and Palmyra. Saudi Arabia’s General Intelligence Directorate will be the mediator and guarantor of the agreement.

  1. According to the latest (September) poll from Angus Reid ,Kathleen Wynne is the least popular premier in Canada. She has a rating of 20% . Wynne was elected as Ontario premier in June 2014 with 38.7% of the popular vote. Her popularity in Sept. 2014 was 41% which fell 10 points to 31% a year later. Taxation and scandals have plagued her government.

The most popular premier is Brad Wall, running a center-right government in Saskatchewan, at 57% (down from 66% last May). Following is Manitoba’s premier Brian Pallister at 53%. He was newly elected in May of this year as a conservative with 53% of the popular vote.

The next poll is out in December.

  2. ” His “crime” is to have asked his supporters whether they wanted more or fewer Moroccans in the Netherlands. ”

You ask any muslim country: Do you want more invaders or less?

What would be their logical answer? You guessed it.

From eternity rational people have opposed bitterly and with blood and iron all types of invaders: EXCEPT Europe/ and the West : They want more burglars and invaders.

Is that strange or normal for zombies?

    • You seem to miss the crux of our problem – our own people are doing this to us, and they use their contrived ‘laws’ such as ‘human rights laws’ which are in fact designed to deflect our ancestral laws of the land with which to thwart every counter opinion or action against their destructive agenda.

I cannot recall any time in Western history where this ‘cultural self-genocide’ has ever been attempted before.

Rationality for some has been completely turned on its head, which goes to show how successful ideological indoctrination can be with some people, but as the old Soviet Union has proven, that Shakespeare’s hypothesis you can fool some of the people some of the time but, not all of the people all of the time has much truth to it.

People are slowly awakening all over the West -maybe you just haven’t noticed?

      • About Western history, I think you’re right: this may be a first. But China has attempted this ‘cultural self-genocide’ several times in the last few millennia and still it stumbles on. Great talent was flattened and lost in the process, though.

I thought that saying about fooling people was Lincoln’s. Where can I find it in Shakespeare?

It’s not really “our own people” who are doing this, though. It’s a self-appointed trans-national oligarchical elite. Of which some American politicians and banksters are members, including the Clinton Crime Family. I heard Trump referred to as a “Blue Collar Billionaire” and found it very fitting. He was born to wealth and he served his family well by increasing that wealth geometrically. Unlike the current crop, he really understands debt and the ways in which it can deform life.

I don’t trust the oligarchs. With Trump, I’m willing to try since we’re just about done otherwise. BTW, he has appointed a board of Middle East experts – all of them FROM the Mid-East – to advise him. I’ve no idea whether these people are worth anything, but I don’t think any president has done that before. If Hillary gets in, we already know her moves ahead of time. Trump will be full of surprises…since we’re living on borrowed time right now, I’m willing to try Trump. I don’t think any of *his* enemies have turned up dead or disappeared.

        • On that saying – I have no idea why I attributed it to Shakespeare – so ol’ honest Abe does get the credit.

By ‘our own people’ I really meant ‘our own kind’ from our own cultures – those we put into office to represent us, those we see or hear from whenever the TV or radio is switched on etc. Those faces that have been put up as trusting and reliable when if fact it is the complete opposite. And it is that kind of indoctrination that even those who ‘feel’ something is occurring around them, that they just cannot get a handle on, generally find it almost impossible to believe that those they trust to bring them the ‘news’ or are part of government, would somehow be doing things that are rapidly undermining us all, herding us to an ‘ultimate utopia’ that anyone with God given common sense knows all too well, will eventually end in disaster.

I’ve been watching Trump – he knows what is going on and that I believe is his ace card that he plays with devastating effect against the Globalists their cronies and lapdogs. To be fully forewarned is to be fully forearmed, and Trump’s knowledge of how the United States has been compromised by an elite that drives the country’s direction is a joy to behold!

If there is one thing that Trump has plenty of, apart from his wealth of course, it would be his enemies and I don’t think that needs any further explanation.

Oprah Winfrey interviewed Trump on one of her shows in 1985? Could have been earlier. Trump was aware then of where America was headed and didn’t like it. He suggested then that if nothing changed he would at some time in the future have a shot at becoming POTUS.

I call him America’s last hope!

  3. Shows how well informed many UKIP politicians are about Donald Trump if they believe all the lies the MSM print about him. FGS, way back then, it was Bill Clinton the ‘woman worrier’, not Trump.

When it comes to sleazy mud-slinging and lies, the MSM and the Clinton camp are setting new boundaries!

  4. The Universe is 10 times larger then previously thought. Amazing how accurate Einstein’s human stupidity estimate was, what a genius.

    Truth About the Crusades
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ilFbbk9jw4

It does make you wonder how we got here.

    • I can see why you liked the video. However, Stefan Molyneux glosses over a great deal of history that is better covered by Emmet Scott. If you don’t read any other book this year, I urge you not only to read but to become familiar with his ideas. They are based on the original work done by a Belgian historian in the 1930s, whose work was buried – yep, even then there was p.c. history. Sigh.

Scott takes that work and builds on it, using modern archeology to make his points. I have never been so moved by a book of history as I was by

Mohammed and Charlemagne Revisited: The History of a Controversy

      our link: http://amzn.to/2dSMYSg

He has written an equally interesting sequel, but it is that first book which made such a paradigmatic change in my view of Western history. It will remain on our sidebar as long as Gates of Vienna exists. And I am grateful to The New English Review for publishing it along with his other essays, which are here:

      http://www.newenglishreview.org/custpage.cfm/frm/102792/sec_id/102792

His second book bearing on the subject is The Impact of Islam, and the cover image is appropriately enough a depiction of chains.

      http://amzn.to/2esTylP

Also published by the New English Review Press, for which they have my eternal gratitude. In their blurb, Rebecca Bynum says:

In this excellent follow up to Mohammed and Charlemagne Revisited, Emmet Scott demonstrates that the centuries-long struggle between the Christian world and the Muslim world during the Middle Ages left lasting effects on Christian thought and attitudes. The revival of slavery in the West after it was nearly extinguished is quite conclusively shown to be the direct result of prolonged contact with the vast Muslim slave-raiding and trading empire which took millions of slaves from Europe and Africa during the Middle Ages. More controversially, Scott also points to violent antisemitism, iconoclasm, vendetta, the toleration of torture, extreme religious intolerance and the idea of “holy war” as all having first developed in the Christian world in areas of prolonged contact and war with Islam, most notably in Spain. Scott further demonstrates that while Islam initially conquered the most advanced areas of the world, at a time when Medieval Christendom was a poor backwater, within five centuries the balance of power was completely reversed, with the Islamic world stagnant and deteriorating and the Christian world poised for global domination. This is no accident, but the inevitable result of the opposing world-views created by Islam and Christianity.

Today, the Islamic revival once again threatens Western progress. It is imperative that our leaders become thoroughly acquainted with the history of earlier Islamic advances. The Impact of Islam is a factual, scholarly and unexaggerated look a period of history more relevant today than ever before.

As I said, read him and you’ll view past historical events through a new lens. It is not rose-colored, to my sorrow.

You said, It does make you wonder how we got here.

Well, read Emmet Scott’s learned explanations for how we got here and your wondering will be at an end. The knowledge gained thereby does not make up for the deep sorrow engendered by the learning of it. I do wonder, though, what it cost Professor Scott to dig through it all.

      • I didn’t realise that Emmet Scott was a professor. Is that correct?

When it came to publishing the updated version of “Easy Meat”, I chose NER quite simply because of my admiration for them publishing the books by Emmet Scott. I recommend these books to everyone. If people read nothing else about Islam than either of these two books, I think it would bring about a revolution in their thinking.

I see people praising The Myth of the Andalusian Paradise. But the point is a) the author is a professional academic who could have written this book decades ago b) apparently it had to fall to a non-academic and a minor publisher to break open the ground in this rich area. Without “Mohammed and Charlemagne” there would probably have been no “The Myth of the Andalusian Paradise”.

So much of the most interesting work in the war on Islam is being done by non-academics. I have a new book coming out soon, which I hope will prove to be of far more interest and significance than “Easy Meat”. This area is so neglected, I have mapped out a further seven books which need to be written.

  6. To be sung to the tune of _Het Wilhelmus_

The triers of Geert Wilders–are they of true Dutch blood?
Their fatherland in peril, they moo and chew the cud.
The Prince of Orange goes rolling
In his crypt beneath the ground.
    His feckless heirs go crawling,
    Lest they be “bigots” found.

It’s fine to mock at Jesus–and to Christians be a foe.
But dare to mock Muhammad–just ask Theo van Gogh!
    Proud Western man states proudly
That the Gospel is a farce.
    But to a Muslim rapist
    Quite meekly bares his a%se.

  7. ** The question is why has Iran chosen to open up an assault on the US?… **

Perhaps because the execrable Obama administration is supporting Saudi Arabia in its war on Iran’s allies in Yemen.

    • And the same execrable BHO is also supporting Iran. A golfer who likes to have it both ways since doing so means he can slip out to the back nine more quickly.

I’ll bet he butters his bread on both sides, too.

      • The essence of US policy is to back and oppose the same faction at the same time in different places. However, since the intervention in Bosnia (and before), the one true constant has been our support for the Sunni Muslim agenda. Top priority.
