I Don’t See How Germany Can Contain the Deutsche Bank Collapse
Let’s talk about Deutsche Bank (DB).
Deutsche Bank is the 11th largest bank in the world. It has assets of $1.8 trillion and over ~$60 trillion in derivatives on its books.
From a balance sheet perspective, DB’s balance sheet is 50% the size of Germany’s GDP. By way of comparison, imagine if JP Morgan was a $9 TRILLION bank. That’s effectively DB’s status in Germany.
However, it’s DB’s derivative book that is the real problem as far as the markets are concerned. As I mentioned before, DB has ~$60 trillion in derivatives. And unlike the other derivatives giant of the financial world (JP Morgan with $52 trillion in derivatives), DB is based in Europe.
What are the differences?
Europe is where Negative Interest Rate Policy (NIRP) Brexit and exposure to a banking system that is entirely too laden with debt has proven a disastrous cocktail.
What precisely has hit DB remains to be seen. But something happened in the first two weeks of September that triggered a market meltdown. DB shares have fallen straight down a total of 27% since that time.

CCRKBA Calls on Oregon Judge to Resign After Anti-Gun Remarks
BELLEVUE, WA — The Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms today called on Multnomah County Circuit Court Judge Kenneth Walker to step down from the bench after launching an anti-gun-rights tirade in court earlier this week in which he stated that firearms “are a scourge of this country and no one should have one as far as I’m concerned.” “Judge Walker is entitled to his opinion,” said CCRKBA Chairman Alan Gottlieb, “but he should not use the bench as a bully pulpit to attack a constitutionally-protected civil right. Just because he had to sentence a criminal to prison for brutally murdering another man in 2014 is no excuse for this kind of rhetoric.”

Fresno Veteran Says Terrorist Crashed Into Him at 100 MPH
A Fresno man believes he was the victim of a terrorist attack, right here on the roadways in California.
Now, he wants the guy who he says attacked him off the streets so he doesn’t hurt anyone else.
Scott Alcala was driving to San Jose to play golf with his father, when he says he was hit by another car.
Witnesses say a car going extremely fast swerved into Alcala, causing him to fish tail and cross into oncoming traffic.
Alcala said, “I saw the suburban coming right at me about to T-bone right into the driver door and I thought that was it. A second later I turned my head and just smashed into the barrier.”
Alcala says he and the other driver were miraculously able to get out of their cars without hitting anyone else.
Alcala said, “The off-duty police officer went to talk to the other driver in his vehicle and he said, ‘Are you alright? That was way too fast,’ and (the driver) said ‘I didn’t it on purpose. It was in the name of Allah.’“..

Hillary’s Mysterious Cleanup Man is Linked to Egypt, Arab Spring
Hillary Clinton is not above cheating, lying or stealing to get what she wants so it shouldn’t be any surprise that she is being accused of cheating during Monday’s 1st Presidential debate. Various ways that Hillary apparently cheated have already been identified (e.g. the moderator Holt’s bias, Hillary’s hand signals to Holt during the debate and the noticeable unexplained wires on her back).
Other unusual items are now literally coming to light that show that Hillary may have cheated in additional ways. The below video shows a light on Hillary’s podium go out after the debate. Trump did not have the same light on his podium. The bright light that went out after the debate was a not a light for reading because it was too high and faced her and not the podium. The light appears to be more like a small monitor or teleprompter perhaps used to transmit messages to her during the debate.

Meet the Young Virginia Democrat That Registered 19 Dead People to Vote in Virginia
Just yesterday we wrote about an FBI investigation into potential voter fraud in the critical swing state of Virginia after it was revealed that 19 dead people had recently been re-registered to vote (see “FBI Investigating More Dead People Voting In The Key Swing State Of Virginia”). While the Washington Post caught wind of the investigation, it was not known who was behind the operation…until now.
Meet, Andrew Spieles, a student at James Madison University, and apparently “Lead Organizer” for HarrisonburgVOTES. According to the Daily News-Record, Spieles confessed to re-registering 19 deceased Virginians to vote in the 2016 election cycle.
While this should come as a surprise to precisely 0 people, Spieles just happens to be Democrat who, accorded to a deleted FaceBook post, apparently recently ran for Caucus Chair of the Virginia Young Democrats.
It’s too bad really, sounds like Spieles had all the right “special talents” required to be very successful politician…he just forgot the most important first rule: “Don’t get caught.”

How the US Armed-Up Syrian Jihadists
The West blames Russia for the bloody mess in Syria, but U.S. Special Forces saw close up how the chaotic U.S. policy of aiding Syrian jihadists enabled Al Qaeda and ISIS to rip Syria apart, explains ex-British diplomat Alastair Crooke.
“No one on the ground believes in this mission or this effort”, a former Green Beret writes of America’s covert and clandestine programs to train and arm Syrian insurgents, “they know we are just training the next generation of jihadis, so they are sabotaging it by saying, ‘F*ck it, who cares?’“. “I don’t want to be responsible for Nusra guys saying they were trained by Americans,” the Green Beret added.
In a detailed report, US Special Forces Sabotage White House Policy gone Disastrously Wrong with Covert Ops in Syria, Jack Murphy, himself a former Green Beret (U.S. Special Forces), recounts a former CIA officer having told him how the “the Syria covert action program is [CIA Director John] Brennan’s baby …Brennan was the one who breathed life into the Syrian Task Force … John Brennan loved that regime-change bullsh*t.”…
But in practice, as Murphy states bluntly: “distinguishing between the FSA and al-Nusra is impossible, because they are virtually the same organization. As early as 2013, FSA commanders were defecting with their entire units to join al-Nusra. There, they still retain the FSA monicker, but it is merely for show, to give the appearance of secularism so they can maintain access to weaponry provided by the CIA and Saudi intelligence services. The reality is that the FSA is little more than a cover for the al-Qaeda-affiliated al-Nusra. …

Obama’s Secret Deal Lifted U.N. Sanctions on Tehran’s Banks
(Freebeacon) The Obama administration signed a secret document to lift United Nations sanctions on two Iranian state banks that were previously blacklisted for their involvement in financing Iran’s ballistic-missile program the same day Tehran released four American prisoners, the Wall Street Journal reported Friday.
Based on the nuclear agreement between Iran and six world powers, the two banks were initially under sanctions until 2023, but the administration agreed to delist the entities on Jan. 17. Senior U.S. officials told the Journal that State Department official Brett McGurk and an Iranian government representative met in Geneva and signed three documents that day.
One document committed the U.S. to dropping criminal charges against 21 Iranian nationals, and Tehran to releasing the Americans imprisoned in Iran.

US to Arm “Rebels” With Anti-Aircraft Missiles Despite Open Ties to Al Qaeda
An already disturbing prospect proposed by the United States has been compounded by shifting alliances among supposed “moderate rebel” groups waging war in Syria. Militant groups backed by the United States and its Persian Gulf allies were presented with an oblique promise of anti-aircraft missiles revealed across several statements from US officials.
A Reuters article titled, “Gulf may arm rebels now Syria truce is dead — U.S. officials,” stated:
The collapse of the latest Syria ceasefire has heightened the possibility that Gulf states might arm Syrian rebels with shoulder-fired missiles to defend themselves against Syrian and Russian warplanes, U.S. officials said on Monday.
This policy shift alone is troubling, considering that every other weapon system, funding and type of equipment funnelled into Syria’s ongoing war has ended up in the hands of US State Department designated foreign terrorist organisations, including Al Qaeda’s Syrian franchise, Jabhat Al Nusra, and its spin-off, the so-called Islamic State.
Perhaps the best indicator of what will happen with such anti-aircraft missiles if sent (and many appear already to have been sent covertly) is the fate of hundreds of US-made anti-tank TOW missiles that have ended up in Al Nusra and the Islamic State’s hands across Syria.
Furthermore, allegedly “moderate rebels” have turned their US-made missiles onto other US-backed groups, including Kurdish militias operating in northern Syria.

US to “Suspend Diplomatic Engagement” With Russia, Turn to Military Options in Syria
According to US officials, the Obama administration is now considering tougher responses to the Russian-backed Syrian government assault on Aleppo, including military options. According to Reuters, the new discussions were being held at “staff level,” and have yet to produce any recommendations to President Barack Obama, who has resisted ordering military action against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the country’s multi-sided civil war.
“The president has asked all of the agencies to put forward options, some familiar, some new, that we are very actively reviewing,” Blinken said. “ When we are able to work through these in the days ahead we’ ll have an opportunity to come back and talk about them in detail.”
However, now that diplomacy with Russia is set to end, this will give the greenlight for Obama to send in US troops in Syria, with Putin certain to respond appropriately, in what will be the biggest military escalation in the Syrian proxy war in its five and a half year history.

The U.S. Propaganda Shams Now Openly Fail. CIA and State Department in Trouble
The Obama administration, and especially the CIA and the State Department, seem to be in trouble. They shout everything they can against Russia and allege that the cleansing of east-Aleppo of al-Qaeda terrorist is genocidal. Meanwhile no mention is ever made of the famine of the Houthis in Yemen which the U.S. and Saudi bombing and their blockade directly causes.
But more and more major news accounts support the Russian allegation that the “moderate rebels” the U.S. is coddling in Syria are actually in cahoots with al-Qaeda if not al-Qaeda itself.
Reuters reports (though only at the end of a longer story):…
The U.S. did not separate the “moderate rebels” from al Qaeda, as it had agreed to in the ceasefire agreement, because the “moderates” and al-Qaeda are the same. The “moderates” are al-Qaeda. This was not unknown. The 2012 Defense Intelligence Analysis said as much. The CIA of course knew this all along. But the Saudi tool heading the CIA, John Brennan, can not admit such as his masters in the Gulf are also the ones who finance al-Qaeda.
They buy the weapons Brennan’s people hadn over to al-Qaeda. The “end-user” according to this certificate for a weapon buy in Ukraine is Saudi Arabia. But who will believe that the Saudi dictators need for example 100 obsolete T-55 tanks? The weapons on the certificate, for an estimated $300-$500 million, are obviously for al-Qaeda in Yemen and in Syria.

Satellite Imagery Reveals China’s Strategic Petroleum Reserve is Vastly Greater Than Disclosed
According to satellite images by geospatial analytics startup Orbital Insight, China, has not only misrepresented how much oil it has stored, it has done so at a massive scale, with the real number dwarfing even JPM own estimate: the real amount of Chinese oil in storage, according to Orbital, was a whopping 600 million barrels as of May. Assuming JPM’s estimated rate of SPR accumulation of about 1mmbpd, the 600 million number as of May would have grown to well over 700 million barrels as of September.
Orbital’s figure as first reported by Bloomberg, is well over two times larger than China’s official estimates for strategic petroleum reserves and for commercial stocks, said Orbital Chief Executive Officer James Crawford.

DHS Official Admits: ‘Many’ Refugees Have Been Convicted of Terrorist Offenses in U.S.
DHS admits issue while attempting to downplay threat.
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director Leon Rodriguez told Congress Thursday that “not a single act of actual terrorist violence has been a committed by a refugee” who underwent USCIS screening procedures since 9/11. But when a senator asked him if it was “correct” that many people who came into the refugee program as adults had been “convicted of terrorist offenses,” Rodriguez admitted that that was “correct.”
Under further questioning by Sen. David Vitter (R.-La.), Rodriguez admitted that he did not know the actual number of refugees admitted to the U.S. who had later been convicted of terrorist offenses. Vitter said, in questioning Rodriguez, that Congress had asked the administration for this number and it had not been provided.

How Do You Stop Migrants? In Hungary, With ‘Border Hunters.’
GYOR, Hungary — During a recruiting fair at a police proving ground here, a gaggle of teenagers ogled a display of machine guns, batons and riot gear. Because that’s how Hungary’s new “border hunters” roll.
