Gates of Vienna News Feed 9/25/2016

Arcan Cetin, the young Turkish man who allegedly killed five people in a mall near Seattle, is also alleged to have shouted a female name several times as he allegedly opened fire in Macy’s. His ex-girlfriend was formerly employed at that same store, but quit three months ago. His motive is still unknown, but the FBI says it is not ruling out terrorism.

In other news, the AfD party (Alternative für Deutschland, Alternative for Germany), has recorded its highest ever poll numbers, definitively establishing itself as the third-largest party in the country.

Charlotte Police Release Body Cam, Dashcam Videos in Keith Lamont Scott Fatal Shooting

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police released the body cam and dash cam videos showing the shooting of Keith Lamont Scott, an African-American man who was killed earlier this week by a black police officer. Charlotte-Mecklenberg police Chief Kerr Putney said during a press conference Saturday the videos show the “indisputable evidence that the facts we started with are the facts that remain.”

Charlotte Police Release Mug Shots of Captured Looters

Following the delayed release of the Charlotte police dash and body-cam video footage of the fatal shooting of Keith Scott, there were concerns that violence and rioting would return to the cith of Charlotte, despite the recently imposed state of emergency and national guard deployment, leading to even more drastic violence. And while luckily that did not happen to the extent seen earlier in the week, protests showed no signs of abating on Sunday, after the police released videos showing the victim being shot but did not answer the question of whether he had a gun.

Dead People Voting in Colorado

Local officials in Colorado acknowledged “very serious” voter fraud after learning of votes cast in multiple elections under the named of recently-deceased residents

A local media outlet uncovered the fraud by comparing voting history databases in the state with federal government death records. “Somebody was able to cast a vote that was not theirs to cast,” El Paso County Clerk and Recorder Chuck Broerman told CBS4 while discussing what he called a “very serious” pattern of people mailing in ballots on behalf of the dead.

It’s not clear how many fraudulent ballots have been submitted in recent years. CBS4 reported that it “found multiple cases” of dead people voting around the state, revelations that have provoked state criminal investigations.

Exhibits You Won’t Find in the New National Museum of African American History and Culture, Part 2

In Part 1, I identified nine such exhibits that won’t be available to museum-goers, plus a list of the top donors to the museum. Here are 10 more such exhibits:

Bill Cosby’s history as a sexual predator. During an interview with NBC Nightly News anchorman Lester Holt, museum director Lonnie Bunch said that a guiding principle of the new museum is to “tell the unvarnished truth” about the black experience in America. For example, a statue of founding father Thomas Jefferson is shown in front of 600 bricks, each one named for a slave he owned. However, an exhibit about black entertainer Bill Cosby has only one sentence about his sexual scandals, saying that the “revelations about his alleged sexual misconduct have cast a shadow over Cosby’s entertainment career and severely damaged his reputation.” Lawyers for Cosby are now claiming that racial bias is to blame because 12 of the 13 women who are scheduled to testify in court that he drugged and molested them are white. In total, more than 50 women have accused him of rape, sexual assault, molestation or sexual harassment.

The anti-police cry of “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” was a lie. The false claim that blacks in Ferguson, Missouri responded to a police stop there with “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” fueled the riots that cost businesses and taxpayers millions of dollars, and ruined the career of Police Officer Darren Wilson. The evidence and witness statements in the case demonstrated that no such statement was made, and that a black thug assaulted Officer Wilson and was shot and killed. Yet the museum features the “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” image. Colin Flaherty, an award winning reporter and author of Don’t Make the Black Kids Angry: The hoax of black victimization and those who enable it, says that what happened in Ferguson was a carefully orchestrated hoax, perpetrated with the help of the media.

Marine Murdered in South L.A. — Where is Obama, Hillary, And the Media?

“US MARINE SHOT IN SOUTH LA WHILE ON MILITARY LEAVE DIES: “The 19-year-old U.S. Marine who was shot in the head while on military leave in South L.A. last week has died, officials said.”

So reads the headline and lead sentence of the ABC news report of September 20, 2016, on the death of Carlos Segovia, U.S. Marine Corps, only 19 years old. (ABC News report)

Marine Segovia, was not shot down in Iraq, Afghanistan, or other foreign terrorist war zone in the heat of battle with foreign enemies of America. He was murdered in cold blood on the streets of So. Central Los Angeles, apparently by urban thugs or gangsters, domestic enemies of America, terrorizing communities and turning urban areas like So. Central LA into domestic war zones with mounting death tolls.

According to police, Marine Segovia, while home on leave from Camp Pendleton, was shot in the head, twice, on Sept. 16, 2016, at approximately 11:30 p.m.,as he sat behind the wheel of his car waiting for a traffic light to change at 31st and Washington streets in So. Central L.A . The shots came from the car next to him, which apparently drove off when the light changed. Four days later, Marine Segovia was declared dead on Sept. 20, 2016. As of this writing, the murderers remain at large to continue on their murderous way, once again killing with impunity.

This is apparently the new norm of “America transformed” under Barack Hussein Obama. Life is now that cheap and dangerous, and death so random, in L.A. and other American cities, even the life of a Marine who is living his life in service to America.

Predictive Programming: New “Designated Survivor” Series Foreshadows Continuity of Government Emergency

This week ABC featured a new TV series starring Kiefer Sutherland, called “Designated Survivor.” The storyline revolves around an attack on Washington, D.C. during the State of the Union address. The President and all Cabinet members are killed, and Kiefer Sutherland (playing the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development) is sworn in as the successor to the President. Nice theme, and one may wonder if it is wishful thinking or inside information, as Hollywood is just as much an extension of the Obama administration as the media.

Under COG (Continuity of Government), there is just such a plan in effect. The Designated Successor (aka Designated Survivor) is usually a Cabinet member who is physically distant and away in a secured location during events such as the State of the Union. The location is also kept a secret. This is a precaution that is taken in the event of some kind of attack or catastrophic event that manages to zap the President and his line of succession.

Many of the requirements for the presidency are identical for the successor: that the individual be a natural-born citizen, at least 35 years old who has resided in the U.S. for at least 14 years. All of this is outlined in the Presidential Succession Act, the regulations governing the Designated Survivor/Successor procedure that originated during the Cold War. There are initiatives in place to specify succession and the departments that handle each specific area of government.

The last event that determined a Designated Successor was the State of the Union address on January 12, 2016 in which two were selected: Orrin Hatch (R- UT) was made President Pro Tempore of the Senate, and the actual Presidential Successor was Jeh Johnson, the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security.

Saturday, September 3, 2016 saw Jeh Johnson, the Secretary of the DHS at the annual convention of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), a group with known and established, documented ties to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood.

Johnson spoke at this event and declared that Muslims were unfairly targeted, and that he would protect them in his role as DHS Secretary to the best of his abilities. Now he has plenty of opportunity to do this, as Obama just committed to bringing approximately 115,000 Syrian “refugees” into the United States.

Self-Driving Trucks Threaten One of America’s Top Blue-Collar Jobs

Carmaking giants and ride-sharing upstarts racing to put autonomous vehicles on the road are dead set on replacing drivers, and that includes truckers. Trucks without human hands at the wheel could be on American roads within a decade, say analysts and industry executives. At risk is one of the most common jobs in many states, and one of the last remaining careers that offer middle-class pay to those without a college degree. There are 1.7 million truckers in America, and another 1.7 million drivers of taxis, buses and delivery vehicles. That compares with 4.1 million construction workers.

Suspect in Cascade Mall Shooting Arrested

MOUNT VERNON — About 24 hours after a shooting at Cascade Mall claimed the lives of five people, a suspect was taken into custody.

The man has been identified as 20-year-old Arcan Cetin of Oak Harbor, said Mount Vernon Police Lt. Chris Cammock.

Cetin was arrested in Oak Harbor on Saturday. He was to be transferred to Skagit County Jail sometime Saturday night, Skagit County Sheriff Will Reichardt said.

Island County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Mike Hawley, who was one of the first law enforcement officials to make contact with Cetin, said at a Saturday night news conference that when approached by law enforcement Cetin was unarmed, did not speak and appeared “zombie-like.”

“I overheard our scanner — the Oak Harbor Police Department had spotted the possible suspect’s car about a half-mile south of my office,” Hawley said, “(After driving there) … I saw an individual walking northbound on the sidewalk and I instantly recognized that was the person I had just viewed on my computer. I did an abrupt turn, hit my lights, pulled my gun, and myself and (a reserve deputy) took the individual into custody.”

Cetin had a satchel with a laptop inside when he was taken into custody, Hawley said.

Cammock confirmed that Cetin is a legal permanent resident of the U.S. who had immigrated from Turkey. He did not have confirmation of when.

The suspect’s family has cooperated with law enforcement, Cammock said. He would not go into details about the ownership of the rifle Cetin allegedly used to carry out the shooting.

Upon reviewing more surveillance footage from the mall Saturday, Cammock said police were able to identify the vehicle the shooting suspect was driving. That vehicle was later spotted unoccupied in Oak Harbor, Hawley said.

The shooting claimed the lives of five people. Cammock could not say if there was a connection between the suspect and any of the victims…

On numerous occasions, Clinton’s left eye could be seen turning more than her right.

It was the second time her eyes did not appear to be in sync with one another.

Washington State Mall Shooting: FBI ‘Not Ruling Out Terrorism’ As Turkish Man Arrested Over Five Killed in Macy’s

Who is Suspected Mall-Shooter Arcan Cetin?

WASHINGTON — The 20-year-old arrested as a suspect in the Washington state mall shooting is a native of Adana, Turkey, and a 2015 graduate of Oak Harbor High School in the Washington state community of Oak Harbor, Washington, where he was known as “The Turk.”

Arcan Cetin was identified by surveillance video images in the store. He was arrested Saturday night following the Friday-night attack in which five people were killed by an assailant bearing a Ruger hunting rifle who strolled into the makeup department of a Macy’s store in the Cascade Mall — a gun-free zone. Four of the victims were women ranging in age from teens to seniors.

Cetin posted on his Tumblr page encouragement to chant “SubhanAllah,” which means “glory to Allah.”

Masked Men on Mopeds Shoot Four in Malmö

At least four people have been injured in a shooting in southern Malmö carried out by masked men on mopeds

The shooting took place in the inner courtyard of an apartment building in the Fosie suburb.

One of the injured was rushed to hospital in an ambulance, with the other three making their own way, Malmö police said in a statement. Police are treating it as a murder attempt.

The shooting took place at around 6.50pm on Sunday, with the police alerted shortly after 7pm.

Witnesses reported hearing several loud bangs, after which two people were carried away to cars which then fled the scene. “Feet were sticking out of the car windows,” one witness said.

Another witness told the local Sydsvenskan newspaper that two mopeds were circling the area in the moments before the shots were fired. A third said they had seen a masked man on a moped open fire on one of the cars.

“On one moped, there were two masked people and on the other just one person. Both disappeared from the scene after the firing,” the witness said.

According to Swedish television, a crowd of more than 100 people arrived at the hospital to visit the wounded, forcing police to cordon off the emergency department, letting in only the closest relatives.

Sara Didrichsen from the Malmö police told Sydsvenskan that police were now seeking witness statements from local residents. “We are carrying out witness interviews and knocking on doors,” she said…

Caroline Glick: Obama’s Denouement

The Memorandum of Understanding that President Barack Obama concluded last week with Israel regarding US military aid to Israel for the next decade is classic Obama.

Since he entered office nearly eight years ago, Obama’s foreign policy has always sought to kill two birds with one stone. On the one hand, his policies are geared toward fundamentally transforming the US’s global posture. On the other, they work to weaken if not entirely neutralize his congressional opponents at home.

The second goal is no mean task. After all, the US Constitution empowers Congress with the foreign policy powers aimed at checking and balancing the president’s.

For instance, to ensure that no president could adopt foreign policies that harm US national interests or undercut the will of the people, the Constitution required that all treaties be approved by two-thirds of the Senate before they can take effect….

Jordanian Writer Shot Dead Outside Court Before Trial Over Cartoon

AMMAN — A gunman shot dead Jordanian writer Nahed Hattar on Sunday outside the court where he was to stand trial on charges of contempt of religion after sharing on social media a caricature seen as insulting Islam, witnesses and state media said.

The gunman was arrested at the scene, state news agency Petra said. A security source said he was a 39-year-old Muslim preacher in a mosque in the capital.

Hattar, a Christian and a anti-Islamist activist who was a supporter of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, was arrested last month after he shared a caricature that depicted a bearded man in heaven smoking in bed with women and asking God to bring him wine and cashews.

In the cartoon, the man also asks God to clear his dishes and put a door on his tent and knock before entering.

Many conservative Muslim Jordanians considered Hattar’s move offensive and against their religion. The authorities said he violated the law by sharing the caricature…

Churches Forced to Open Bathrooms to Transgenders

The march by a corrupt government to end the First Amendment protection of our God given right to religious freedom continues unabated. Last month, Massachusetts joins Iowa in commanding churches that their bathrooms must now allow delusional people who think they are of the opposite sex from what biology dictates, use the bathroom which they choose.

Video of the sermon

In July Governor Baker of Massachusetts signed the bill call “Keep Massa-chusetts Safe.” It is a public accommodation law forcing transgender bath-rooms on private establishments which includes all churches forcing them to adopt transgender bathroom rules. If the church is open to the public, the same public accommodation rules apply as to all other public accommodations. They defined a public accommodation as “any place whether licensed or unlicensed, which is open to and accepts or solicits patronage of the general public.” This would include churches in the State of Massachusetts.
