Two Libyan migrants in Malta were arrested and charged with attempted murder for attacking three bouncers with samurai swords last weekend. The two suspects deny committing any crimes. Both of them are said to be wanted in Libya on unspecified charges.
In possibly unrelated news, the Maltese police will receive €550,000 in aid from the European Union to help them purchase bullet-proof vests and communications equipment.

“Slacking Off”: Young Adults Living in Parents’ Basement Most Common for First Time Ever
Moving into the basement or prolonging a stay in a childhood bedroom filled with outgrown toys and posters used to be a last resort for struggling 20-somethings, but now it is officially the most common situation for millennials and even those in the their early 30s.
These cold statistics reveal not only a brutal economy with few good job prospects, but a generation that is failing to branch out and start a new life on their own — a necessary phase of continuity in the human species.
Millennials are also putting off buying cars, buying houses, getting married, having kids and other grown up activities that used to be a default of adult life for the majority of Americans.
Instead, it is a future of mostly singles with a tough time finding the jobs they want to become careers.
Along with that goes a later and later average age for marrying and having kids, further stalling the birth rate which has already fallen sharply below the replacement rate of 2.1 children per couple.
All of this paints a grim future and a disappearing American Dream.

America’s New Special Operations Commander Wants to Predict the Future
With so many elite troops fighting “an extremist phenomenon that’s gone rabid’ in failed states, Gen. Tony Thomas wants to get his operators ahead of the curve.
The little-known Army Ranger, new to the 4-star spotlight atop U.S. Special Operations Command, sees America’s elite troops transforming from a reactive to a proactive force, one that operates globally, but still with a light footprint. Thomas’s vision is a force that is predictively employed, rather than reactively deployed. “It is in the area of left of bang where we must strive to be more relevant in the future,” he said.
Thomas has been working counterterrorism operations for most of his career. He led the first Ranger contingent into Afghanistan after the September 11 attacks and in 2008 reportedly survived a bomb attack on his vehicle while conducting operations in Mosul, Iraq…

California Autocrats Accelerate State Gun Grab
The surprising recall election of two Colorado Democratic lawmakers Tuesday for backing gun control laws was a warning shot for lawmakers across America eager for more gun control laws.
The California Senate just passed 11 anti-gun, and quite possibly anti-constitution bills, which will likely be tied up in court for a very long time. The bills were rushed through by Democratic Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de León, infamous for his bill to paint all BB guns bright colors so they wouldn’t be mistaken for real guns.
This is what oppression looks like. And, it’s just plain stupid.
Even more dubious, the bills were gutted and amended “zombie bills” left behind by Assemblyman Henry Perea, a fellow Democrat, when he abruptly left the Legislature in December to become a lobbyist. The original contents of those bills enjoy attorney-client privilege between the original bill author and Legislative Counsel. Sources inside the Capitol say de León violated this attorney-client privilege by not getting Perea’s prior permission to gut and amend the bills. However, every attempt to verify this was met with a cone of silence, other than “They have the majority, they can do it.”
Rules are for others. Remember, Fascism is a way of organizing a society in which a government ruled by a dictator controls the lives of the people and in which people are not allowed to disagree with the government.
The door-to-door gun confiscation program
In 2013, SB 140 was passed, by Sen. Mark Leno and then-Senate President pro Tem Darrell Steinberg, which appropriated $24 million to the California Department of Justice to “enhance the identification and confiscation of handguns and assault weapons that are in the hands of convicted felons, persons who are determined to be mentally unstable, and others who have criminal backgrounds that prevent them from legally possessing guns.” However, what it really did was create a program to allow state officials to “confiscate guns owned by people whose legal right to own them had been superseded by some later action or declaration, such as criminal convictions, restraining orders, or being adjudicated mentally ill,” Brian Doherty of Reason reported recently.

Damning State Dept Report: Yep, Hillary Basically Ignored All of Our Security Directives
It’s true that other secretaries have used personal email (Colin Powell is often name checked here) but, as the report indicates, things were different for Hillary. First of all, her abuse of private communication devices was far more extensive than that of her predecessors. More importantly though, by the time Hillary took on the job, the rules and regulations had been refined, solidified, and made crystal clear.
The inspector general’s 78-page analysis, a copy of which was obtained by The Associated Press, cites “longstanding, systemic weaknesses” related to the agency’s communications. These started before Clinton’s appointment as secretary of state, but her failures were singled out as more serious.
Despite guidelines to the contrary and never seeking approval, Clinton used mobile devices to conduct official business on her personal email account and private server. She never sought approval from senior information officers, who would have refused the request because of security risks, the audit said.
“By Secretary Clinton’s tenure, the department’s guidance was considerably more detailed and more sophisticated,” it concluded. “Secretary Clinton’s cybersecurity practices accordingly must be evaluated in light of these more comprehensive directives.”
It doesn’t get much clearer than that.

Former SPLC Director Hired by JIC to Prosecute Chief Justice Roy Moore
Montgomery, AL — In a brazen move, the Judicial Inquiry Commission (JIC) of the State of Alabama has hired John Carroll, a former Legal Director of the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), to prosecute its politically motivated charges against Chief Justice Roy Moore of the Supreme Court of Alabama. The SPLC filed the complaints with the JIC and now the JIC has chosen the former Legal Director of the SPLC to represent it.
“I have almost no words for this corrupt and unjust system,” said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel, which represents Chief Justice Moore. “We have said that the charges are politically motivated and that the JIC violated its own rules of confidentiality. You would think that the JIC would be astute enough to at least avoid an appearance of bias, but obvious the JIC does not care. This is a brazen act that calls into question the entire JIC process,” said Staver.

Oberlin Students Want to Abolish Midterms and Any Grades Below C
Students at Oberlin College are asking the school to put academics on the back burner so they can better turn their attention to activism.
More than 1,300 students at the Midwestern liberal arts college have now signed a petition asking that the college get rid of any grade below a C for the semester, and some students are requesting alternatives to the standard written midterm examination, such as a conversation with a professor in lieu of an essay.
The students say that between their activism work and their heavy course load, finding success within the usual grading parameters is increasingly difficult. “A lot of us worked alongside community members in Cleveland who were protesting,” Megan Bautista, a co-liaison in Oberlin’s student government, said, referring to the protests surrounding the shooting death of 12-year-old Tamir Rice by a police officer in 2014. “But we needed to organize on campus as well — it wasn’t sustainable to keep driving 40 minutes away. A lot of us started suffering academically.”

Shock Audio: Katie Couric Edited Gun Documentary to Silence Pro-Gun Opinions
That audio, obtained by The Washington Free Beacon, shows that the movie was edited in an overwhelmingly deceptive fashion.
Newly surfaced audio revealed that a Katie Couric-hosted documentary, called “Under the Gun,” intentionally edited video to make pro-gun Americans appear dumbfounded.
That audio, obtained by The Washington Free Beacon, shows that the movie was edited in an overwhelmingly deceptive fashion.
Virginia Citizens Defense League president Philip Van Cleave told The Washington Free Beacon, “Katie Couric asked a key question during an interview of some members of our organization. She then intentionally removed their answers and spliced in nine seconds of some prior video of our members sitting quietly and not responding. Viewers are left with the misunderstanding that the members had no answer to her question.”

Something Stinks: The “Fishy” Vince Foster Case
Donald J. Trump has brought up the case of the mysterious death of former Clinton aide Vincent Foster, calling it “fishy.” Trump is right. Foster is the man who knew too much. He had knowledge of various Clinton scandals, including Travelgate, the Waco tragedy, and possibly some illegal activities involving national security. His body was found in a Virginia park on July 20, 1993, and the media accepted the verdict of suicide.
But as AIM founder and late chairman Reed Irvine and I reported on the case, there were so many anomalies that the Special Division of the Court of Appeals ordered an appendix added to Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr’s report on the death of Vincent Foster. The appendix exposed serious flaws in the report that cast strong doubt on the suicide finding. These anomalies included:
No bullet was ever found in Fort Marcy Park, even though Foster supposedly shot himself there. The gun that was found in his hand has never been positively identified as his. Foster’s fingerprints were not found on the gun.
Many people in the media claim that numerous investigations confirmed it was a suicide. Glenn Kessler of The Washington Post says there were “five official investigations into Foster’s death, conducted by professional investigators, forensic experts, psychologists, doctors and independent prosecutors with unlimited resources.” CNN’s Jake Tapper says it is “shameful” for Trump to question these findings.

The Police State and Moral Relativism
An insidious police state is stealing over America today. We as a country have become like a freezing man slipping off to sleep in a blizzard, incapable of recognizing the demise of the liberty and honor on which we were formed. Our liberal-neocon intelligentsia are responsible for this. Their perfidy is comprised of five elements:
- Collectivist ideologues in the schools teaching moral relativism.
- Hubristic politicians and bureaucrats in Washington ignoring basic rights.
- Government monopolization of the banking system that debases the currency.
- Increasing militarization of federal, state, and local police.
- A media that plays the role of lap dogs for statism.
These five elements almost always close ranks to support each other. They are of one mind — that capitalism (i.e., freedom) is dangerous. Leaving people alone is dangerous. The marketplace is dangerous. Thus society must be regimented from the top down via ever-increasing “arbitrary law” and “police state controls.”
This process begins in the child’s youth. We have been forming amoral, collectivist minds in our schools ever since the 1920s and John Dewey. As a result, all five of the above elements today (schools, Congress, banks, police, and the media) are comprised of “highly amoral” human beings. This means they have been taught that there is no way to rationally and objectively discern right from wrong with certainty for humans in socio-cultural interaction and in the political vision that is to lead us. In other words, our schools have instilled into our youth for the past century the doctrine of moral relativism.

Premier Wynne Making Life Harder for Ontario Taxpayers
Premier Wynne certainly had a wild week making Ontario a more difficult and expensive place to live.
First there were the leaked cabinet documents that exposed her government’s secret plan to ban natural gas in Ontario. Natural gas is used by 76 per cent of Ontarians to heat their homes, and it offers some relief against high electricity costs.
Premier Wynne’s plan revealed her intention to force virtually everyone in the province to heat their homes with some of the most expensive electricity in North America. The difference in price between natural gas home heat and electric is estimated to be over $2,000 per year. And that doesn’t even include the $4,500 average price tag of converting the home to electric heat from gas.
Then there was the political finance reform legislation that was introduced at Queen’s Park last week. Wynne’s plan involves a taxpayer subsidy directly to political parties for them to spend on attack ads and flyers. The legislation would funnel $10.7 million in taxpayer money directly to Ontario’s political parties…
The government also passed the carbon tax legislation last week, which will increase the cost of all manufactured goods in the province, drive out business and hike the price of fuel-which is already heavily taxed in Ontario-by $0.043 per litre just to start.
And who could forget the coup de grace last week, the auditor general’s report following her investigation into funds that the Wynne government had secretly paid to teachers’ unions. The auditor general found that since 2000, $80.5 million has been given to teachers’ union organizations. Of that, $22 million was given with no strings attached.

Reject Ontario PC Leader Patrick Brown’s Promises to Liberalize the Federal Conservative Party
On behalf of the now 148,000 members of the Institute for Canadian Values and conservative thinking Canadians we ask delegates to Canadians are sick and tired of politicians saying one thing and doing the opposite. After receiving support of conservative voters so many leaders betray their supporters and adopt liberal policies. We are concerned that some may make happen to the Conservative Party.
In a recent interview with the Globe and Mail, Patrick Brown explained how he intends to “modernize” the Conservative Party at its May convention. His view of a modern party is one that supports same sex marriage, transgender men in female spaces, radical sex education and global warming. According to the Globe, Patrick is rallying the LGBTory Group “to work to get language opposing same-sex marriage out of federal party policy.” He will also mobilize Canadians for Clean Prosperity to promote a Carbon Tax.
The Globe reports that the PC leader is carrying a message for conservatives, “the debate over climate change and same-sex marriage is over.” This is not what he said when he was running for leader.

UK: Boy is Arrested Over ‘Random’ Acid Attack Which Blinded a Teenager
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested following an acid attack on a group of teenagers that left one person potentially blinded.
Lee Elliott, 17, may lose the sight in his left eye after he and one of his friends suffered potentially life-changing injuries when they were doused with a corrosive liquid as they stood on the platform at Ockendon Station, Essex, in the early hours of Sunday.
Another was treated for injuries to his mouth and tongue after the incident, while two others were also burned.
British Transport Police are questioning a teen from Dagenham after a CCTV appeal was launched to track him down last night.
The BTP say the boy’s attacker stepped off a train and approached the victims. He spoke briefly with the teenagers before suddenly removing a bottle from behind his back and squirting them with an ‘unknown liquid’.
Detective Sergeant Gail McKemmie said: ‘This was a particularly vicious and alarming assault which has left some of the victims with potentially life changing injuries.
‘This was an unprovoked and violent incident and it essential that those responsible are identified and brought to justice.
‘Although our investigation is in its early stages, it would appear that this was a random and isolated incident.

Imminent Intervention? Greece, Italy, & Malta Close Airspace for Aircraft — From Libya
Weird things are happening in the Mediterranean Sea.
Almost simultaneously three countries in the Mediterranean have closed their airspace and territories for aircraft departing from Libya. The exceptions are very few and involve the transport of military and evacuees. At the same time, three NATO exercises are taking place but the airspace closure and directly little to do with that.
The first country to close its airspace for aircraft departing from Libya” was Italy, followed by Malta. Today it was Greece’s turn. All three countries issued relevant NOTAMs:…
Why do Greece, Italy and Malta need to close their airspace and territories to aircraft departing from Libya? Is there something the NATO allies have on their mind? Or the NATO itself? Something like an imminent intervention against Libya? It was beginning of April when US President Barack Obama and Secretary General Jens Stoltenrbg had declared that they could help Libya to face the Islamic Caliphate.
