Japan’s Wild Monetary Experiment is Far From Over

Public is readying to hoard banknotes…

For most of the time the Japanese and US stock markets are moving together under common risk-off or risk-on trends. But in late winter and early spring this year there has been divergence. The plunge in the Tokyo market has been the big episode this year in the “progress” of the global asset price inflation disease (with its original source in the Fed’s Great Monetary Experiment) towards its late dangerous phase. In mid- and late-mid phases of the disease, it is typical to observe speculative temperatures high and even rising in some asset classes whilst tumbling in others. Hence, we have seen the Tokyo equity market decline as the speculative story of Abe economics triggering Japanese economic renaissance implode. And, yet other risk asset markets have been re-bounding from their New Year swoon under the influence of the Yellen Fed backtracking from its “rate lift off strategy.”

The dynamic path to the yen surge this year has included not just Pavlovian reaction but much trader-type narrative, which is always important in understanding the precise impact of market shock.

Martin Wolf Defends Central Banks’ Negative Interest Rate Policies

If they don’t wind up reaping an economic whirlwind, they will in due course get a political one

The Financial Times has become even more erratic of late, mixing first-rate stories with all-too-obvious pumping for special interest. Today, the pink paper had a twofer in the articles it flagged above its masthead, Tamper with tax havens at your peril and Martin Wolf’s Don’t blame central banks for negative rates. While Financial Times readers laughed off the first article, they are likely to take the second one seriously.

Wolf is too good an economist not to know that his column exculpating central bankers is off base, but he’s also regularly invoked (as he does here) Bernanke’s “saving glut” theory, which conveniently lets the Fed and its confreresoff the hook.

Here is what is wrong with his article:

Contra Wolf, central banks are largely responsible for the mess we are in. The Fed stopped supervising primary dealers in 1992. Later that decade, after a derivatives crash that destroyed more value than the 1987 crash, the Fed took the view that it was fine to let banks not only use derivatives with minimal supervision, but allowed them to develop their own risk models with no central bank involvement, insuring that supervisors would be behind the curve. Greenspan and Rubin later fought successfully against the regulation of credit default swaps, a major driver of the crisis. The Fed ignored warnings its own Ed Gramlich and from the Bank of International Settlements about a housing bubble in the early 2000s, and refused to act to supervise and restrict subprime mortgages as required under the Home Owners Equity Protection Act.

The Fed, which was slow to see the crisis was coming, then overreacted. It made steeper cuts in the Fed Funds rate than were neeed to signal that it was on the case and ready to provide liquidity; the mantra at the time was “75 is the new 25” (basis point rate cut). At the time, I saw cutting the Fed Funds rate below 2% as crossing an event horizon.

Central banks bailed out the financial system without making demands or imposing reforms. No bank boards or executives were replaced. Banks were not told they’d need to write down and modify dud loans, most of all consumer mortgages. At the very outset of the crisis, Japanese authorities warned the US that their big mistake had been being soft on the banks. That advice was ignored. Before you try arguing they lacked authority, they were plenty creative in finding authority to do all their emergency footwork even though many of their actions were an overreach. And let us not forget that Sheila Bair at the FDIC, despite being fought by Treasury and having comparatively limited regulatory authority, forced Citigroup to downsize considerably in 2009.

Central banks also overwhelmingly rely on economic models that treat the economy as having a natural propensity to be at full employment; any other state is as a result of an external shock. Economists do not include the banking system at all in their models, and refuse to recognize that the financial system can and does produce endogenous shocks; in fact, Andrew Haldane of the Bank of England pointed out in 2010 that bankers have strong incentives to run wild:

“Beaten Because I Am White”

The Long Island, NY, Brentwood School District has been sued for refusing to transfer a white student to another school despite receiving evidence that he had been subjected to years of violent assaults and racial abuse by his fellow pupils who are nonwhite.

Former pupil, Giovanni Micheli, now 23, first sued the school district in 2010 when he was 17, but the case has only now finally appeared before the Brooklyn federal court.

In his opening statement, Micheli revealed that he had been singled out as a “minority” in Brentwood High School and then told by school officials to either “project more self-confidence” in order to stem the beating and berating-or leave.

Brentwood High School is a secondary school in Brentwood, New York. It is one of the largest high schools in New York State, on the southern shore of Suffolk County, Long Island.

Micheli, who attended the majority Hispanic and black Long Island high school, said he was targeted for punishment because he is white. He was punched, hit with a chair, and repeatedly called “cracker” and “white boy”-while administrators did nothing to protect him.

“The System is Rigged, It’s Crooked”: They Are Letting us Know Our Vote Doesn’t Count

Editor’s Comment: It’s all rigged, they control the party and select the candidate, and voting is little more than a charade. Only now, it isn’t just outside dissenters crying foul at the corrupt and undemocratic voting process — it is being openly admitted.

The two-party dictatorship has faced challenges by Trump and Bernie with grassroots supporters, and they are letting everyone know who holds the control over the White House — and all other elections for office by extension.

Your sense that the game is rigged and choices offered only to give you motivation and direction has been validated, and rubbed in your face. Look any casino, the House always wins, but the game is enticing enough to keep them all coming back to open up their wallets.

2016: The Year the Americans Found out Our Elections Are Rigged — Op-Ed by Nick Bernabe

“Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president. And the same thing applies to governors, and U.S. senators and congress members.” — Former President Jimmy Carter

The 2016 election has been a wild ride, with two insurgent grassroots campaigns literally giving the political establishment a run for its money. But as the events of this presidential primary season play out, it’s becoming clear the U.S. election — and even more so, the presidential race — is a big scam being perpetrated on the American people.

Events from the last week have exposed the system as an illusion of choice and a farce. They have reinforced at least one study showing the U.S. is an oligarchy rather than a democratic republic.

Anti-Israel Controversy in Newton, Massachusetts Exposes Boston Jewish Community Divide

Last weekend, we posted on Facebook the background of controversial anti-Semitic vandalism in the Boston suburb of Newton, Massachusetts. The topic at the core of a heated public meeting convened by Mayor Setti Warren. A video produced by the team at Americans for Peace & Tolerance (APT) provided background on the rancorous public meeting in Newton. The FB post of the APT video garnered over 60 shares from FB pages across the US, Europe and Israel. It provided documented evidence of the use of Saudi and UAE funded anti-Semitic texts and Arab World Studies notebook laced with pro-Palestinian propaganda materials and maps. We noted that APT had been in the forefront of uncovering the use of these materials by the Newton public schools since discovery in 2011. They contended their removal has yet to be independently confirmed. watch it by clicking the link above.

A second FB post contained a Wicked Local Newton report noted the acrimony at the Newton public meeting:…

Attacking Our Nation’s Founders

The teaching establishment is being used to undermine American values

During Sen. Bernie Sanders’ campaign visit to Liberty University, he told the students that our nation was created on racist principles. Students at a Christian-based university, such as Liberty, do not often hear the founders-as-racists argument. But it is featured at many other universities, as well as primary and secondary schools. Most often, the hate-America teachings are centered on the fact that slavery is a part of our history. What is left untaught is: Slavery was a routine part of human history. Blacks were the last people to be enslaved. Plus, our Founding Fathers struggled mightily over the issue of slavery. Let us look at some of that struggle.

George Washington said, “I can only say that there is not a man living who wishes more sincerely than I do, to see a plan adopted for the abolition of it.” Thomas Jefferson, John Jay, Patrick Henry and others were highly critical of slavery, describing it as a “disease of ignorance,” “an inconsistency not to be excused” and a “lamentable evil.” George Mason said, “The augmentation of slaves weakens the states, and such a trade is diabolical in itself and disgraceful to mankind.” James Madison, in a speech at the 1787 Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, declared, “We have seen the mere distinction of color made in the most enlightened period of time, a ground of the most oppressive dominion ever exercised by man over man.” Benjamin Rush said: “Domestic slavery is repugnant to the principles of Christianity. … It is a rebellion against the authority of a common Father.”…

Contrary to what academic hustlers teach, the Three-Fifths Compromise was not a statement about human worth; it was an attempt to reduce the pro-slavery representation in Congress. By including only three-fifths of the total number of slaves in congressional calculations, Southern states were actually being denied a greater number of representatives in Congress and hence electoral votes for selecting a president.

Colorado Republicans Passed Around “Resolution to Deny Trump Delegates” Back on March 22

On Saturday Ted Cruz supporters took all 13 of the delegates up for grabs at the Colorado GOP Convention to complete a clean sweep of the state.

But it was not without controversy.

There never was a vote — Party elites decided on who got the delegates.

The anti-Trump politicians were passing around a “Resolution to Forbid Colorado Delegates from Voting for Trump” for weeks before the convention.

[…]

The resolution was created by Colorado Republicans for Liberty — a Cruz offshoot group.

Men in Dark Suits, Blue Smoke and Backroom Deals

Why would central bankers, defense experts, mass-media press barons, government ministers, prime ministers, royalty, international financiers and political leaders from Europe and North America want to meet in the first place? Why in secret? What would they be discussing?

It turns out that there are highly suspicious connections between these types of groups, like the Trilateral Commission, the Bilderberg Group and the Council on Foreign Relations. They have overlapping memberships and similar goals. Two of the groups, the Bilderberg and Council on Foreign Relations, have very strong ties to the Rockefeller Family. Remember. There was another secret meeting of the titans of finance and industry that met on Jekyll Island in 1907 that became the catalyst for the 16th Amendment (1913), ushering in the Federal Reserve and the Internal Revenue Service. The incestuous relationships in the banking industry, specifically Chase Bank and Goldman Sachs, is well documented. David D. Rockefeller, now over 100 years old, was chairman of J P. Morgan Chase Bank for many years. J. P. Morgan was so rich he helped bail out the U. S. Government in the crash of 1895.

NOTE: During Hoover’s Administration, at the request of the President, the Rockefeller Foundation funded a study by the University of Illinois and Harvard University on how to manipulate people through their subconscious minds. Why would government do this in a free nation?

THE COUNCIL ON FOREIGN RELATIONS: Towards the end of World War I, a working fellowship of about 150 scholars called “The Inquiry” was tasked to brief President Woodrow Wilson about options for the postwar world when Germany was defeated. This academic band, including Wilson’s closest adviser and long-time friend “Colonel” Edward M. House, as well as noted journalist Walter Lippmann, met to assemble the strategy for the postwar world. “The Inquiry” group later became the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR). In the late 1930s, the Ford Foundation and Rockefeller Foundation began contributing large amounts of money to the Council on Foreign Relations. CFR’s impact on U. S. foreign policy, for right or wrong, is legendary and has been and still is, almost immeasurable. Thousands of politicians, big-bank CEO’s and captains of industry are members of this elite club.

THE BILDERBER GROUP: The Group is an annual private conference of 120 to 150 people of the European and North American political elite, experts from industry, finance, academia, and the media, established in 1954. The group’s original goal was promoting Atlanticism, strengthening US-European relations and preventing another world war. (Wasn’t the UN supposed to do that?) Their theme is to “bolster a consensus around free market Western capitalism and its interests around the globe”. It all sounds so noble and worthy, except that in 2001, Denis Healey, a Bilderberg group founder and, a CFR steering committee member for 30 years, said: “To say we were striving for a one-world government is exaggerated, but not wholly unfair. Those of us in Bilderberg felt we couldn’t go on forever fighting one another for nothing and killing people and rendering millions homeless. So we felt that a single community throughout the world would be a good thing.”

Daniel Estulin’s 2006 book “The Secrets of the Bilderberg Club”, describes the Group as a “sinister clique, manipulating the public to install a world government that knows no borders and is not accountable to anyone but itself.”

Penny Nance: ‘The Real War on Women is Happening Around the World by Islamic Fascists’

Nance, author of Feisty and Feminine: A Rallying Cry for Conservative Women, told host Alex Marlow her book is a opportunity for conservative women to “find their voice and protect future generations of Americans.”

Nance also pointed out that Islam oppresses women far worse than the myth of the wage gap in First World nations.

“I take this up specifically in my book and talk about the real war on women,” she said. “The real war on women is happening around the world by Islamic fascists who are raping and abusing and selling children in slave markets, child brides, female genital mutilation, on and on and on. And when we use the term ‘war on women’ so cavalier and in such a fake way, we really diminish what’s happening to them.”

Prosecuting “Deniers” Would Deny Free Speech to Skeptical Americans

President Barack Obama is hostile to open debate and research contradicting his opinions and policies.

The most recent evidence for this is U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s recent testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee, in which she said the Department of Justice has discussed pursuing legal action against companies, research institutions, and scientists who debate whether humans are causing catastrophic climate change.

The revelation the Obama Administration has asked the Federal Bureau of Investigation to investigate people involved in an ongoing scientific debate should shock the sensibilities of all Americans.

It was not Obama or Lynch who first broached the idea of prosecuting climate realists for exercising their free-speech rights; that dishonor falls to U.S. Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), who in a May 2015 op-ed published in The Washington Post argued the fossil-fuel industry is collaborating with conservative think tanks to disseminate research contradicting the scientific consensus on man-caused climate change.

The First Amendment to the Constitution presents the first significant hurdle to efforts by Whitehouse and the Obama administration to silence their critics in the global warming debate.

Obama, Lynch, and Whitehouse all swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States, and the First Amendment is pretty clear: “Congress shall make no law … abridging the freedom of speech.”…

Another problem hampering the Obama Administration’s attempt to prosecute climate skeptics is that the truth is a legal defense against fraud, which means it is impossible for Lynch to prove skeptical scientists and climate researchers are lying when they say the human impact on climate is unclear and evidence of harm is lacking.

Contrary to the constant false claims made by the Obama Administration, the matter is still part of an ongoing, lively scientific debate.

The German climate science site No Tricks Zone documented approximately 250 peer-reviewed academic articles published in 2015 disputing one or more of the many claims made by climate change alarmists.

The Politburo of the United Nations is Already U.S. President

No matter who emerges as the 45th president of the USA on November 8, it is not the newly-elected president who will get to control civil life.

That privilege belongs to The Politburo of the United Nations, which while most people still seem to hold only in the abstract, now controls almost every facet of civilian life.

The United Nations Politburo is already president of the United States; the president, prime minister and king of almost every other country on Earth. Long before gaining-through breath-taking stealth-the highest offices of the lands, they already owned the mayors and municipal councils of both towns and cities, whose elected officials were used both knowingly and unknowingly to spread their toxic Agenda 21.

The mainstream media, which gives saturation coverage to gossip about all Republican presidential contenders, virtually ignore UN encroachment on civilian lives and file the far-reaching Agenda 21 under ‘c’ for ‘conspiracy’.

But the UN Politburo wields more power than any Ted Cruz or Donald Trump, even though operating from the shadows.

Their members are real people. Look at their pictures and keep their names on file. They are the ones imposing Agenda 21 on you and your neighbourhood by pretending to have a monopoly on “sustainability”.

What Will Americans Do if Our Country is Invaded by Foreign Armies?

In the last article we introduced the concept of an invasion by a foreign coalition on American soil. Sure, we have all seen “Red Dawn” and other films that characterize an invasion by a foreign power or powers, and it is understandable that it is Hollywood. That being said, what will happen in the United States if an invasion does occur, from the perspective of its citizenry? Will there be a resistance, and if so, where?

We covered some potential actions of aggressor nations. Hopefully everyone agrees on the fact that if we are invaded, the resources (in the form of food/crops, minerals, oil, and livestock) will be sought after. Let’s turn our concentration of focus to geography, the second most important feature after human demographics. Fortunately the United States is large and occupation will be extremely difficult.

The problem is twofold for an aggressor: how to kill off 90% of the population and enslave the rest without irradiating the whole shebang and obtaining only a Pyrrhic victory. Firstly, let’s take a look at this photo that breaks down firearms ownership state by state:

The way to make this photograph understood more readily is to take it further within your home state and multiply that percentage by the actual population of the state. This will give you a “raw” number to estimate. You can probably add about 10-15% to those numbers, as there will be plenty of weapons not recorded within the system. Keep in mind: some states, such as Montana, are huge in area with a big percentage number, but the entire population of the state is just over a million people. Twenty percent of California means a lot more guns than 60% in Montana.

Next, find those big cities in your home state that will probably be taken out, such as Washington, D.C., or New York City. There are a number of different sites that allow you to enter in a city and the size of a weapon used against it to estimate the ring of destruction and the fallout patterns. You can use these tools to come up with an idea of what will remain in your state after the initial strikes have been completed.

Geography has a huge say in the equation. As I have mentioned in previous articles, the area of Northwestern Montana where I live is extremely remote; however, it holds a high level of strategic importance. The East-West rails here for rail freight is a key crossing area of the Continental Divide. Also, the Flathead Valley can be turned into a huge staging point for air operations with only minimal modification to existing airfields.

The mountainous regions of the United States will be areas that resistance elements will form up, hopefully with the aid of/aiding our own military. The Appalachian Mountains, the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Catskills, the Rockies of Colorado and Montana will be areas where citizens will gather, hide, and stage bases of operations to conduct reconnaissance and fight. There are many urban locations of strategic importance (such as Indianapolis and New Orleans) that an invader can’t really afford to bomb that would also become centers of resistance.

Why Are Thousands of Millionaires Fleeing Chicago and Other Major Cities Around the World?

The elite are fleeing major cities around the globe at a staggering rate. In fact, the Chicago Tribune is reporting that approximately 3,000 millionaires left the city of Chicago alone during 2015. The same study discussed in that Chicago Tribune article found that 7,000 millionaires left Paris, France last year. So why is this happening? Why are thousands of millionaires suddenly packing up and moving away from the big cities? Could it be possible that they have many of the same concerns that “preppers” do about what is coming?

For quite a while, I have been writing about how the elite have been preparing for the coming collapse. But I had no idea that literally thousands of them are packing up and permanently leaving our major cities. As I mentioned above, the Chicago Tribune is reporting that about 3,000 of them left the city of Chicago alone during the previous calendar year…

Millionaires are leaving Chicago more than any other city in the United States on a net basis, according to a new report.

About 3,000 individuals with net assets of $1 million or more, not including their primary residence, moved from the city last year, with many citing rising racial tensions and worries about crime as factors in the decision, according to research firm New World Wealth.

But of course this is not just happening in Chicago, nor is it just an American phenomenon.

Actually, the two cities that lost the most millionaires last year are both located over in Europe…

Zuck: You’re Still Using Non-Facebook Websites … I’ll Put an End to That

Ten-year global domination plan: Get everyone online and sell ‘em stuff

At the opening keynote of the Facebook F8 developer conference, Mark Zuckerberg has outlined his company’s plan to get everyone online and hooked on Facebook within the next decade.

“Instead of building walls we can help people build bridges, instead of dividing people we can bring people together — one connection at a time, one person at a time,” he said — possibly channeling the Pope’s criticisms of Donald Trump.

“That’s why our work is more important now than it has ever been before.”

The behoodied one’s plan has three main planks — connectivity, AI and virtual and/or augmented reality.

Zuckerberg said about four billion people around the world don’t have Facebook access internet access. A billion of these can’t get access to a network. Zuckerberg showed off the carbon fiber Aquila autonomous drone his engineers are building that can fly for months at a time at 60,000 feet, beaming Facebook internet access to remote areas.

Another billion can’t afford the internet, although they are in range of a network. To get these people online, Zuckerberg said he was expanding the Free Basics program, which has 325 million users (and falling) and take it further around the world.

[Comment: Goal of authoritarians — use the created internet portal to control what is read, said, or seen. And the user gets to build his own dossier for security services. ]

EU Says Not Yet Ready to Assess Italy Bank Fund

Only preliminary info, in touch with Rome

(ANSA) — Brussels, April 12 — The European Commission said Tuesday it was not yet ready to evaluate a new Italian fund aimed at helping struggling banks in the future. The EC said it only had “preliminary information” on the fund and “is not able to evaluate it”. It said it was “in touch with the Italian government” on the scheme, unveiled Monday. So far the Italian government has not outlined any measure that would imply State aid so the EC “cannot comment” on that aspect. The government said Monday night it was setting up a five-billion-euro fund to shore up Italy’s banks. The fund with limited participation from Italian state lender Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) will back capital increases for troubled banks and help clean up non-performing loans.

Italy Mourns Casaleggio, The ‘Visionary’ Founder of M5S

Entrepreneur and atypical politician shunned media attention

(ANSA) — Rome, April 12 — Italy was on Tuesday mourning the anti-establishment 5-Star Movement (M5S)’s “visionary” founder Gianroberto Casaleggio, who has died aged 61. The entrepreneur, mass media specialist, Internet expert and atypical politician from Milan began his career with Olivetti in the 1970s before creating the joint venture communications consultancy Webegg. In 2004 he established his Casaleggio Associates and started to take an interest in politics. He met Genoa comedian Beppe Grillo after a show the following year and suggested they work together, creating Grillo’s hugely popular blog that would go on to become the on-line platform for the movement. This also marked the start of Grillo’s political ascent.

In 2007 Casaleggio Associates produced the videos “Prometheus — The media revolution” and “Gaia”, a vision of the future in which traditional media have disappeared and the world is governed by Web-based intelligence. The films contributed to creating his aura of mystery and to accusations that he belonged to the esoteric freemasonry — a claim he repeatedly denied.

Casaleggio and Grillo founded M5S in 2009 and the party went on to take 109 seats in the Lower House and 59 in the Senate in 2013 elections. With a few rare exceptions he kept out of the limelight, letting Grillo be the movement’s front man. He took to the stage in Rome’s Piazza San Giovanni for the close of the European Parliament election campaign in 2014 and again for the ‘5-Star Party’ at Circo Massimo.

His friend Grillo was always by his side.

UK: A Takeaway Chef Wiped His Bottom Using His Hands Before Preparing Food Because He Does Not Use Toilet Paper for ‘Cultural Reasons’, a Court Heard.

Mahbub Chowdhury, 46, from Swindon, was found to have a filthy bottle in the kitchen of Yeahya Flavour of Asia, which inspectors concluded was covered in faecal matter.

When questioned, he said he filled the empty milk bottle with water from the kitchen taps before using it to clean his backside after going to the toilet.

Chowdhury prepared meat and fish curries at the takeaway, which was run out of a rented kitchen at the Nine Elms pub.

Saudi Arabia’s Grand Mufti: Driving Will Expose Women ‘To Evil’

Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin-Abdullah al-Sheikh, Saudi Arabia’s top Islamic cleric, defended the kingdom’s ban on female drivers by alleging that women will be exposed to new evils behind the wheel.

He told Almajd, a religious television channel, “that men with ‘weak spirits’ and who are ‘obsessed with women’ could cause female drivers harm.” He also cheered the ban because the female’s family members “would not know the whereabouts” of the woman if she could drive by herself.

Saudi Arabia does not have a law that specifically bans females from driving, but women cannot easily obtain a license. Authorities make exceptions for women in rural areas who need a car to perform necessary tasks.

‘We Don’t Want to Fly to the Death Penalty’: Gay Air France Stewards Rebel Over Plans to ‘Force’ Them to Work on Resumed Flights to Iran Where Homosexuality is Illegal

Gay cabin staff working for Air France have launched a petition over plans to ‘force’ them to work on flights to Iran, insisting: ‘we don’t want to fly to the death penalty’.

Their petition complains that it is ‘inconceivable’ that they should have to travel to a country where they say homosexuality is illegal and punishable by execution for adults or 74 lashes for minors.

The demand comes after Air France announced plans to resume flights from Paris to Tehran next week.

It also comes a week after female employees of the company were told they would be allowed to opt out of working on the resumed flights so that they can avoid having to wear a headscarf…

Chechen Special Forces Instructors Landed on Svalbard

“Flying Squad” — a combat group of Chechen special forces, has recently finished an exercise close to the North Pole, and are on their way back to the homeland, the website of the Head and Government of the Chechen Republic reads. “We are preparing to meet our heroes,” Ramzan Kadyrov says.

The paratroopers were dropped onto the ice from an Il-76 airplane on March 29. They jumped out from a height of 2500 meter, and started their exercise, which included a 20 kilometer long hike and an attack on an “enemy command post’. The paratroopers conducted another jump, this time from a Mi-8 helicopter, and unfolded Russian and Chechen flags in the air, Grozny Inform writes.

Before the expedition to the Arctic, the Chechen paratroopers had been trained in a special program, developed jointly with the Russian Geographical Society.

Cargo and other personnel were brought to the area by a plane from Longyearbyen in Svalbard. The Chechen delegation was lead by Ramzan Kadyrov’s aide on law enforcement issues Daniil Martynov. Kadyrov’s Instagram account published photos of Martynov and other people loading cargo into an An-74 plane on Longyearbyen airport.

According to Jamestown Foundation’s Eurasian Daily Monitor, Major Daniil Martynov is the chief of FSB’s Alpha group (Directorate A of the FSB Special Purpose Center).

The Chechen soldiers helped the technicians construct a new runway. This was used for the first time on Tuesday, according to Barneo’s Facebook account.

As Barents Observer reported, also Russian airborne troops are planning an exercise close to the North Pole in the coming weeks. They are also planning to use the airport at Svalbard for transportation of equipment and instructors.

Norwegian demands halts new flights

The Russian Geographical Society’s Expedition Center on its Facebook account complains that Norwegian authorities have given permission for only one flight more from Longyearbyen to Barneo. Eleven other flights that were declared in advance have been denied. The reason for this is supposed to be a trip the An-74 took to Murmansk last week with camp equipment that was going to be airdropped together with fuel and food for the people stranded on the ice floe. “Now we were suggested to start from the scratch — apply for the next flight 48 hours in advance,” a message on the account reads. Many tourists and 55 marathon runners are waiting for transportation form Svalbard to Barneo, they say.

Head of operations at Longyearbyen airport Carl Einar Ianssen confirms to Barents Observer that the Norwegian Civil Aviation Authorities have issued new regulations for the An-74 flying between Longyearbyen and Barneo, and that they now have to report passenger lists and cargo lists 48 hours before take-off.

Norwegian Civil Aviation Authorities have not yet answered questions from the Independent Barents Observer about the new regulations…

Pakistani Textbooks Teach Children That Christians Are ‘Nefarious, Violent, And Tyrannical by Nature’

A new study on textbooks used in Pakistan’s public schools found “deeply troubling content” in the representation of Christians and other minority religions as fundamentally inferior and less trustworthy than Muslims.

The comprehensive report, Teaching Intolerance in Pakistan: Religious Bias in Public School Textbooks, found that the textbooks are used to confer “public shaming” on Christians and other minorities, indoctrinating schoolchildren with a pro-Muslim prejudice from the earliest ages.

“Public shaming begins at a very young age,” the report found, and the Pakistani curriculum teaches that religious minorities, particularly Christians and Hindus, are “nefarious, violent, and tyrannical by nature.”

Pakistani public school textbooks reach over 41 million children and negatively portray religious minorities as outsiders, unpatriotic, and inferior, which helps explain the alarming state of religious freedom in Pakistan today.

The study, released on Tuesday, was sponsored by the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) and conducted by the Pakistan-based Peace and Education Foundation (PEF), a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting peace and tolerance in Pakistan.

Culture War in Europe

The continent that gave us Beethoven, blue-water navies, the Renaissance, the Enlightenment and the Industrial Revolution is in existential crisis. Since early 2014, millions of people from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan and northern Africa have streamed into Europe’s southern periphery, with more on the way. Western elites have criticized some nations for not doing enough to absorb the influx from war-torn countries. What they don’t realize is that refugees of war often drag the war along with them. From our point of view, in the context of the greater “war on terror” is a culture war.

One million asylum seekers have entered Greece via Turkey since last summer. While they are not the barbarian hordes of the fifteenth century Ottoman Empire, they have ignored fundamental cultural expectations of the host countries. During the Talking Points segment on Fox News on the night of the ISIS massacre in Brussels, Bill O’Reilly remarked that ISIS uses terrorism “in order to impose Islamic culture.” It is unknown at this point how many ISIS fighters have entered the European Union (EU) through Greece, but what is not in doubt is that Greece is overwhelmed by a group of people who do not speak Greek nor have any knowledge of Hellenic culture. Separate and distinct cultures

Russia does not take migrants. China does not take migrants. Taiwan does not take migrants. Japan does not take migrants. South Korea does not take migrants. Israel does not take migrants. Poland does not take migrants. The people of these nations all have one thing in common: separate and distinct cultures that they wish to preserve.

EP Approves Kyenge Refugee Resolution

Calls for European asylum scheme, humanitarian corridors

(ANSA) — Strasbourg, April 12 — The European Parliament on Tuesday approved a non-binding resolution co-authored by Italian Democratic Party MEP and former integration minister Cécile Kyenge and Maltese MEP Roberta Metsola of the European People’s Party (EPP) calling for a centralized European political asylum system, a binding resettlement policy, and humanitarian corridors so refugees fleeing war zones in Africa and the Middle East can have safe, legal passage into Europe without resorting to human smugglers at the risk of their lives. The motion passed with 459 in favor, 206 against, and 52 abstaining. The resolution proposes establishing a central system for collecting and allocating asylum applications that would work on the basis of hotspots from which to distribute refugees according to quotas for each EU member state. The European Commission is currently considering a revision of the Dublin III Regulation (which determines which member state is responsible for processing which asylum application) and has pledged to present a legislative proposal before the summer.

Frank Gaffney: Obama, Bono, Other Migration Advocates ‘Truly Blind to the Nature of the Enemy We’Re Facing’

Frank Gaffney, founder of the Center for Security Policy and a senior policy adviser to presidential candidate Senator Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), tells Breitbart News Daily host Stephen K. Bannon his view on rock singer Bono’s call for a new, America-funded “Marshall Plan” to prop up nations in the Middle East and Africa, along with bringing even more migrants into Europe.

“A Marshall Plan for what?” Gaffney asked. “Are we talking about essentially enabling Europe to be repopulated by non-Europeans, who will transform it from a part of the free world, Western civilization, into something that is almost certainly hostile to the free world?”

Gaffney doubted Bono, or most current Western leaders, understood the Islamist theory of “civilizational jihad,” which calls for the transformation of soft Western states into Islamic states through mass migration and the subversion of institutions such as the court system. “He’s off to the CIA today, to talk about defeating ISIS, but it’s as though that’s happening in isolation from the global jihad movement,” Gaffney said of the rock star.

One aspect of civilizational jihad involves using more respectable organizations to establish networks of support for violent extremists. “The network that these jihadis have been able to use — in Europe most especially, but also here — to wield their violent kind of jihad is one that’s been put into place by the Muslim Brotherhood,” Gaffney charged. “That’s in mosques, that’s in Islamic societies and cultural centers, front groups of various kinds, influence operations. Those are the things I think we’ve got to attend to before we start throwing money at Europe.”

Gaffney compared Bono, a man of the Left, to the “useful idiots” of the Cold War — those whose ideology made them unwittingly useful to the cause of global totalitarian communism. He said the new useful idiots were self-declared humanitarians “in the service, whether they know it or not, of Islamists, and frankly other enemies of freedom.”

George Soros Warns Europe: Absorb 500k Refugees Costing $34bn, Or Risk “Existential Threat”

Authored by George Soros, originally posted at NYBooks.com,

The question remains, how can the necessary political will be generated? The European Union is built on democratic principles. I believe there is a silent majority that wants to preserve the European Union even if it is currently not a well-functioning institution. The leaders will listen if this silent majority makes its voice heard.

The refugee crisis poses an existential threat to Europe. It would be irresponsible to allow the EU to disintegrate without utilizing all the resources it has at its disposal. The lack of adequate financing is the main obstacle standing in the way of successful programs in the frontline countries. Throughout history, governments have issued bonds in response to national emergencies. That is the case in Europe today. When should the triple-A credit of the EU be mobilized if not at a moment when the European Union is in mortal danger?

In Pictures: Kurds, Arab Migrants War With Police and Each Other

Conflict has erupted once again on the Greece-Macedonia border, as migrants fought police and then each other, with Kurds pitched against Arabs.

Exploding gas canisters rocked the camp at the village of Idomeni, and migrant protestors dragged a train wagon down the tracks, ramming it into police positions.

Greece’s left-led government has said some volunteers and charity workers at the Idomeni camp are behind recent riots involving hundreds of migrants and refugees trying to force their way into Macedonia.

Faced with the chaos and violence, one Macedonian policeman stared down a group of masked migrants through fence, telling them: “This is my country. I am ready to die for my country”.

Italy: Risk of South Europe Becoming Open-Air Refugee Camp — MSF

‘Cynical and obtuse’ choice in closing off Balkan Route

(ANSA) — Rome, April 12 — With the arrival of warm weather and the closure of the Balkan Route southern Europe “risks becoming open-air refugee camps”, the president of Doctors Without Borders (MSF), Loris De Filippi, said Tuesday. He said MSF would do its utmost to help migrants and refugees in the central Mediterranean. “I think Europe has made a cynical but very obtuse calculation” in blocking off the Balkan Route, he said, warning that France would soon follow Austria in closing off its border with Italy. MSF has decided to put to sea again, De Filippi said, “because the number of ships carrying out rescues appears insufficient”. He said “we will be at sea for three months and then we will assess whether to continue”.

Migrant Rapes Reach England: 18-Yr-Old Alleges 3 Hour Assault in ‘Dosshouse’ In Kent

Two Middle Eastern immigrants have appeared in court accused of being among a gang of six who subjected an 18-year-old girl to a three hour gang rape in a “dosshouse” in Kent, England. The girl told police that she only managed to escape by head-butting one of her captors and punching another.

Renzi Calls Austria Out Over Anti-Refugee Brenner Barrier

Italy, EU, human rights orgs slam Austria

(ANSA) — Tehran, April 12 — Premier Matteo Renzi said Tuesday that while Italy is Austria’s friend, it demands respect for EU rules.

His remarks came after Austria began building a 250-meter barrier across road links with Italy at the Brenner Pass border crossing in the Alps as a way to keep asylum seekers out.

Speaking during a mission to Iran with an Italian business delegation, Renzi said he has asked Italy’s EU representative, undersecretary Carlo Calenda, “to verify all the regulations at the European level to assess the correctness of the things that Austria is doing”. He said “there is friendship with Austria but we demand EU rules be respected”. Austria is erecting the fence in light of what it says will be an estimated doubling of asylum seeker arrivals, to 300,000, across the Mediterranean to Italy this year. Also on Tuesday, Interior Minister Angelino Alfano said Austria’s decision to erect the barrier is “unexplainable and unjustifiable”. Austrian Interior Minister Johanna Mikl-Leitner said Italy’s “agitation” over the Brenner Pass barrier is “incomprehensible”. Austrian Chancellor Werner Faymann defended the move as “desirable, necessary and just” and that doing nothing was “out of the question”. He also said he would take full responsibility for the decision.

Austria came under fire earlier in the day from EU officials and leading human rights organizations. “What is happening at the border between Italy and Austria is not the right solution,” EU Migration and Home Affairs Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos told the European Parliament in Strasbourg. Amnesty International Italy said Austria’s move will create a bottleneck and a humanitarian crisis such as the one taking place at the border between Greece and Macedonia, where thousands of refugees from Syria and other war zones have languished in limbo in a makeshift camp at Idomeni for months. “Austria has decided to raise… an obstacle that will create a situation similar to Idomeni,” Amnesty International Italy Director Gianni Rufini said. “We will find ourselves with improvised camps and a humanitarian crisis…that this should happen today on European soil is disappointing and depressing”. Humanitarian group Doctors without Borders (MSF) said border police at Idomeni have injured 200 people with tear gas and another 37 with rubber bullets, which were being shot “at children’s height”. “At least three children were wounded by these projectiles,” Doctors Without Borders (MSF) President Loris De Filippi told a press conference in Rome. “It is an aberrant situation, created by Europe and left unsolved by Europe”.

Syrian Surge! ‘Refugees’ Flood Into U.S. At Rate of 358 Per Week

‘Obama is doing everything within his power to advance an Islamic invasion’.

A flood of Muslim refugees from Syria, an average of 358 per week to be exact, is expected to arrive in the United States between now and the end of the fiscal year on Sept. 30.

The Obama administration has decided to implement a “surge” in Syrian refugees, fast-tracking the arrival of those fleeing civil war in that country to make good on its commitment of bringing 10,000 by the end of fiscal 2016.

The “surge” is needed because the administration has delivered only 1,411 in the first six-and-a-half months of the year.

The Obama administration’s scripted answer for anyone who questioned its ability to screen Syrian “refugees” was that they are the “most thoroughly vetted” of all immigrants, going through an arduous process that takes 18 to 24 months to complete.

But that process was taking longer than expected and making it impossible for Obama to make good on his promise to the United Nations to admit at least 10,000 Syrians in fiscal 2016.

[Comment: UN decides what is a “refugee”. US signed on to an agreement for mandatory acceptance of “refugees”. The definition of a “refugee” is the UN scam.]

American Outlaws

It was reported on April 6, 2016, that the California Attorney General raided David Daleiden’s home and confiscated all his undercover video footage of harvesting and sale of aborted babies organs and tissue (Proverbs 6:17) by Planned Parenthood, an organization that America’s representatives refuse to defund.

The office of Kamala Harris (Outlaw), who was elected with tens of thousands of dollars from taxpayer-funded Planned Parenthood, is set on using the law against the law by attacking and intimidating Mr. Daleiden in hopes of incarcerating for exposing this organization’s crimes against humanity.

Just this last week, we found that the United States government has been targeting and illegally revoking the gun rights of over 260,000 American veterans since December 2015.

It’s interesting to note that it good enough for these politicians (Outlaws) to send forth America’s finest to fight unconstitutional wars abroad. Yet, when they come home, they are denied the very rights that they were fighting to uphold and maintain.

Are these that are to serve “We the people” arming themselves against Americans? Of course, they are. They’re armed to protect themselves from those they are to serve. As a matter of fact, it was several of these outlaws in government that just killed Lavoy Fincium in Oregon for standing up against those who were selling uranium ore to the Russians while stealing away the lands from underneath the ranchers.

The answer to dealing with these outlaws is to remove the injustice (Article 2, Sections 4 of The United States Constitution; Psalm 94:16-20)!

The Re-Education Camps We Call Universities

The totalitarian attitude on campus hit me in a very personal way on March 30 as I was sitting on an airplane at Reagan National Airport on my way to Albany, New York. I was informed that a campus debate I was scheduled to participate in later that day had been cancelled. I was told to get off the plane and go home.

I believe this is the first time on a college or university campus that a left-right debate has been cancelled because of objections to one side of the debate.

It appears the totalitarian left is so determined to crush the conservative point of view that it had to be suppressed even when a leftist was on the same panel.

New Film Exposes Communist Roots of “Sustainability” Agenda

A powerful new documentary takes a fresh look at the global “green” agenda, often marketed under the misleading label “sustainable development,” and exposes it for the dangerous assault on human freedom that it is. Beyond that, the film shows how the so-called “sustainability” movement of today is little more than a poorly re-packaged version of the murderous “red” communist agenda that supposedly fell along with the Soviet Union — after killing hundreds of millions of people along the way. The film, It’s Easy Being Green When You Have No Choice: Sustainable Development and the End of History, provides a great deal of evidence and information that all supporters of liberty should be familiar with.

At the center of the scheme for global totalitarianism is the increasingly discredited anthropogenic (man-made) global-warming theory, the film and experts interviewed for it point out. And at the center of that theory is the claim that CO2 drives warming — an idea discredited by, among other evidence, the 18 years and counting in which the undisputed satellite and weather balloon temperature records show no warming. But facts and concerns over the climate were never the real issue, as the film documents using a combination of powerful interviews with experts and even quotes from the key individuals and organizations pushing the anti-human, anti-freedom “sustainability” agenda.

“Ever since the failed Bolshevik revolution the managerial class has been searching for a common enemy for people across the world to unite against,” the narrator explains as the film begins. “They have found it. The new enemy is carbon dioxide.”

  5. “An elderly Christian woman has been caned in a conservative Indonesian province for selling alcohol, the first time someone from outside the Islamic faith has been punished there under strict religious laws.”

I’ve been to Indonesian a few times. It’s a strange place with some regions fairly secular and other parts like Aceh full Sharia compliant. Strange also that in the world’s largest muslim nation they have a nationally distributed brand of Beer (not bad either) that would appear to be largely bought (and drunk) by muslims.

So in this story the woman who probably had a convenience store with a refrigerator stocking cans of beer, her customers in muslim majority Aceh were most likely also muslims. What is concerning is the applying of sharia sentences to the Christian population. My understanding was when the central government gave Aceh the concession of Sharia law, non muslims were to be excluded.
