2nd Amendment Defenders Win Big in West Virginia

Lawmakers in West Virginia shot down their Democratic governor’ s attempt at clamping Second Amendment rights, voting to overturn his veto of a bill that gives all residents age 21 and over the right to carry a concealed weapon without a permit.

Bowdoin Students in Therapy After ‘Culturally Appropriating’ Tequila Party

Bowdoin College, a private liberal arts college in Maine, has offered counseling to students who felt “injured and affected” by a group of classmates who attended a Tequila-themed birthday party on campus wearing miniature sombreros.

Two members of Bowdoin’s student government, Duncan Cannon and Claire McInerney, are now facing impeachment after the college administration launched a crackdown.

“This has to do with our social code and the context of other issues we’ve been dealing with as a college,” Bowdoin’s president, Clayton Rose, told the Portland Press Herald.

Michelle Kruk, a senior and vice president of student government, told the paper “It’s not about tequila or sombreros.”

“It’s about casual racial and ethnic stereotyping and cultural insensitivity at a school that has seen far too many examples of both.”

The General Assembly of Bowdoin students issued a “statement of solidarity to stand by all students who were affected by the “tequila’ party”. The General Assembly recommended that the administration acknowledge the “deep hurt” caused by the event, and set up a “safe space” for those affected…

Conrad Black: Don’t Underestimate Donald. He Will Win

It is with great regret that I take public issue with my colleague John Robson, a columnist and editorial writer for the National Post, in this case over his comments on Donald Trump in this newspaper on Monday. John completely missed the point of the Trump candidacy. Donald Trump polled extensively last year and confirmed his suspicion that between 30 and 40 per cent of American adults, cutting across all ethnic, geographic, and demographic lines, were angry, fearful and ashamed at the ineptitude of their federal government.

Americans, Trump rightly concluded, could not abide a continuation in office of those in both parties who had given them decades of shabby and incompetent government: stagnant family incomes, the worst recession in 80 years, stupid wars that cost scores of thousands of casualties and trillions of dollars and generated a humanitarian disaster, serial foreign policy humiliations, and particularly the absence of a border to prevent the entry of unlimited numbers of unskilled migrants, and trade deals that seemed only to import unemployment with often defective goods. I was one of those who thought at the outset that Trump was giving it a shot, and that if it didn’t fly it would at least be a good brand-building exercise.

GOP Establishment Loves Losers

Since 2000, the GOP establishment has been dead set on flooding the field with too many prospects and picking losers for their GOP presidential nominees.

McCain won the GOP nomination with only 47.3% of the GOP vote. McCain then lost to a totally unknown nobody from nowhere with a blank résumé, Barack Obama, by a 52.9% to 45.7% margin… the GOP was perfecting the art of losing…

“A house divided against itself cannot stand.”

In 2012, the worst President in U.S. history was re-elected for a second term. Again, it is due to the fact that the GOP establishment was totally committed to running another loser, Mitt Romney.

The Democrats see the U.S. Constitution as just a relic from history no longer of any use or value to our beloved Republic. Clearly, the GOP establishment now agrees with that view, running ineligible frauds like Cruz and Rubio on the GOP ticket as if the GOP and DNC are now one in the same, both destructive of the Constitutional Republic and favoring a globalist agenda.

How Donald Trump Scrambles the General Election Map

The Electoral College landscape has been fairly stable over the past four presidential elections. Trump might change that.

By Steven Shepard

If Donald Trump’s coalition carries him to the GOP nomination, it could produce a crazy-quilt general election that scrambles the conventional wisdom about the battleground state map.

The Electoral College landscape has been fairly stable over the past four presidential elections: 40 states have voted for the same party in every race since 2000. But Trump’s candidacy — and a unique base of support that’s carried him to victory in places as varied as Alabama and Massachusetts — is raising the prospect of a scrambled November landscape that features long-time Democratic strongholds in play and states that have been firmly Republican for a half-century in jeopardy.

‘Not Even My Wife Knows’: Secret Donald Trump Voters Speak Out

We asked Guardian readers who are voting for Trump why they support him. From firm conservatives to fed-up liberals, their answers were revealing.

An Indian-American attorney who is part of the 1% (50, Illinois)

‘It’s a very economics-driven decision’

I’m an Indian-American male and moved to the US with my parents when I was three in 1968. I’m presently an attorney with an engineering background and am in the top 0.5-0.6% of income earners and top 1% in terms of assets.

A Trump presidency would mean to me a return to a US where immigrants came to this country in measured amounts, and who could substantially contribute to the economy and to society. There was no chain immigration, so those who came were well qualified, earned as much as their American counterparts, and lived in a much better ordered society.

Cheap immigrant/HB1 visa labor is killing the standard of living for Americans, leading to general unhappiness and dissatisfaction. It’s a very economics-driven decision for me. For my parents, who are in their 70s and 80s, it is as well. They were Democrats until now. Even though we are all well off, we see that the loss in standard of living is dragging down the entire country. Money may not cure all ills, but it certainly helps.

A gay Arab Muslim student (20, Missouri)

‘My parents are horrified’

As a gay muslim, the Republican Party has not been kind to me, to say the least. However the Democrats almost arrogantly expect me to hand my vote to them because of who I am, which insults me.

I am a son of immigrants but we have always followed the law to the letter. Donald Trump’s discussion on immigration is extremely relevant. I even support the temporary ban on Muslims, even though I still have many law abiding family members in Syria who deserve the opportunity to come to the US and escape the horrors of the war. We don’t vet these people properly. To let them in willy nilly is ludicrous.

Trump will break the poisonous bonds that hold America and the cult state of Saudi Arabia. Clinton would never do that; she would continue supporting Saudi Arabia while bombing Islamic countries left and right.

My parents are horrified at the thought of a Trump presidency. They say things like “Trump is going to round up all the Muslims and put them in camps.” For all his bombastic remarks, Trump will not attack innocent Muslim countries. Ironically enough, he may be the best thing for moderate average Muslims. He isn’t our enemy, he is the enemy of the globalist Wahhabi cult that has propagated mass violence and murder through out the world.

Primary Voters Still Voting for Their Own Destruction

Four states held primaries/caucuses last weekend. All four were for presidential preferences. Trump took two. He barely squeaked by Cruz in Kentucky 35.9% -31.6%. Louisiana was also close, Trump 41.1% — 37.8% for fraudster, Ted Cruz. Constitutionally ineligible, Ted Cruz, took two. Kansas: Cruz 48.2% — Trump 23.2% and Maine with Cruz at 45.9% v Trump at 32.6%.

John Kasich, who seems to be vying for the next nomination for Father Teresa finished 3rd in Maine, dead last in Kansas, dead last in Kentucky, dead last in Louisiana. Rubio finished dead last in Maine., 3rd in Kansas, 3rd in Kentucky, 3rd in Louisiana. Count Chocula*, Ted Cruz, is pretending not to kick a dead horse while he pleads for those two to drop out of the race and send their voters to him.

However, a couple of those states were also full ballots for congressional seats, judges, sheriffs and state offices.

A lot of hoopla being played out is there’s a cold revolution going on which is benefiting Donald Trump. Voters are fed up with being betrayed by Washington, DC. Voters are sick of the corrupt criminal enterprise out in Washington, DC. They are spitting right in the eye of the GOP establishment who control everything out in the District of Criminals by voting for Trump. They want an outsider!

Really? Then why in the h*ll would voters from either party or independents once again vote for congressional incumbents — the very rats who have taken this country to the abyss?

Thanks to the Republican Civil War, Every Scenario Ends With Hillary Clinton Winning the Election

What is the worst possible outcome for the presidential election of 2016? Assuming that an election will actually take place, that is an easy question to answer — Hillary Rodham Clinton as the next president of the United States. She is truly evil in every sense of the word, and the implications of what four (or eight) years of Hillary would mean for our nation are almost too terrible to imagine. That is why it is so depressing watching what is happening to the Republican Party right now. The civil war in the Republican Party is ripping it to shreds, and as a result of all this warfare every plausible scenario for what will happen the rest of the way ends with Hillary Clinton winning the 2016 election.

According to the Associated Press, here is how the Republican delegate count stands as of right now…

  • Donald Trump: 384
  • Ted Cruz: 300
  • Marco Rubio: 151
  • John Kasich: 37

Ted Cruz looks like he is within shooting distance of Trump, but that is an illusion. The early part of the schedule was full of states where Cruz was expected to do well, but now the map is going to work very much against him.

At this point, the only candidate that looks like he may be able to accumulate 1,237 delegates before the convention is Trump, and that is far from guaranteed. So far, Trump has won approximately 44 percent of the delegates during the caucuses and primaries. By the time it is all said and done, he will need to have slightly more than 60 percent of all the delegates awarded during the caucuses and primaries to guarantee himself the nomination before the Republican convention. That is because there are hundreds of delegates that are not awarded during the caucuses and the primaries, and almost all of those delegates are members of the Republican establishment.

[…]

And it is very important to note that the campaigns don’ t pick their delegates. Becoming a delegate is a long and tedious process in most states, and most of them are party loyalists.

[Comment: Same for Democrat delegates — many are part of the establishement. Media just puts the shine on the candidate selected by banksters to advance the globalist agenda. I’ve never seen this situation before — the entire GOP establishment, Democrat, media are rabidly against Trump — it’s a clue that he may just be the right man for America.]

The Lies of Romney, Megyn Kelly, And Ted Cruz

It was Romney who gave us the blueprint for Obamacare as Governor of Massachusetts. Yes, Obamacare is patterned off Romney’s mess in Massachusetts.

If you like Monsanto’s GMO’s you can also thank Mr. Romney. At Bain Capital, he was instrumental in saving Monsanto from bankruptcy, and now all our foods are genetically modified.

Romney is being sued in federal court for criminal racketeering. Steven “Laser” Haas is the owner and sole shareholder of Collateral Logistics Inc. (CLI) the firm which was retained to oversee the liquidation of assets in the bankruptcy of eToys in 2001. Along with Romney, Haas has named Goldman Sachs, Bain Capital, Michael Glazer, Barry Gold, and Paul Traub in the suit. Haas has claimed that he has evidence that the parties involved have committed perjury on 35 separate occasions — even alleging that there have been murders carried out in attempts to cover up their wrong doing.

Obviously, if Romney were on the stage with these candidates, you can bet this would not be brought up, but a small civil suit over Trump University is a major discussion during the debate. How absolutely asinine.

Romney is doing the bidding of the puppeteers who control the agenda for the “New World Order” that former President, George H.W. Bush, spoke so much about. They desperately want the North American Union (NAU). Yes, the same one that Cruz’s wife Heidi helped to write at the Council on Foreign Relations. The CFR was founded by Col. Mandel House, Woodrow Wilson’s counter ego. It is supported by the Carnegie and Rockefeller Foundations and is the core of moving the USA into a globalist NWO nation. [Link]

The NAU eliminates the borders between Canada and Mexico, and makes us one big North American Union with one currency, and obliterated sovereignty, much like the European Union which is now failing…

Certainly by now, we know all the neo-conservative right-wingers who have come out against Trump, many of them have said they’d vote for Hillary if Trump was the Republican nominee. This tells us how desperate the elitists are to keep the NWO globalists in power. One would hope the American electorate would clearly see which side these people are on…and it’s certainly not Constitutional freedoms for the American people. Bilderberger, William “Bill” Kristol has openly stated he’d vote for Hillary over Trump. So Kristol and his phony Republican ilk prefer to have a corrupt, failed Secretary of State (think Benghazi murders and Libya at the top of the list), than an honest businessman who wants to “Make America Great Again.” What does that tell you?

Like the rest of them who signed on to the National Review’s hate Trump campaign, and those who have given to huge pacs to stop Trump, they are all globalists, and they want that globalist train to continue. If Trump is elected, it will be derailed.

Glenn Beck Wants to Stab Trump

The hatred for Mr. Trump is so demonic that now crazy Glenn Beck who has endorsed and campaigned for Cruz, said on his nationally syndicated radio show this morning, March 4th, that if he had a knife, and got close enough to Cruz’s leading rival, Donald Trump, “the stabbing just wouldn’t stop.” Now they’re lying about it after a visit from the FBI.

Beck made the death threat in the context of talking about Thursday’s GOP presidential debate where the candidates were asked if they would support the eventual nominee. Here’s the exact quote, “If I was close enough and had a knife, really, I mean I, the stabbing just wouldn’t stop.” Laughter could be heard in the background from Beck’s staff as he talked about murdering Trump. [Link]

Beck is not the only crazy in America who is filled with hatred for the one candidate who could turn America around.

Rick Wilson Says “Put a Bullet in Donald Trump”

The GOP establishment donor class, Wilson said they “can’t just sit back on the sidelines and say, ‘oh well, don’t worry, this will all work itself out.’ They’re still going to have to go out and put a bullet in Donald Trump. And that’s a fact.”

Pat Brady Says, “Take Trump Out With a Head Shot.”

Then, Pat Brady, head of the Kasich campaign in Illinois, was on the Cochran radio show in Chicago and said this. Then he redoubled his efforts and stated, “You’ve gotta be ready to rip his head off.”

Canada Plans to Experiment With Giving People Unconditional Free Money

The premise: send people monthly checks to cover living expenses.

Finland and the Netherlands have already shown their interest in giving people a regular monthly allowance regardless of working status, and now Ontario, Canada is onboard.

Ontario’s government announced in February that a pilot program will be coming to the Canadian province sometime later this year.

The premise: send people monthly checks to cover living expenses such as food, transportation, clothing, and utilities — no questions asked.

It’s a radical idea, and one that has been around since the 1960s. It’s called “basic income.” In the decades since it was first proposed, various researchers and government officials have given basic income experiments a try, to mixed results.

Guiding Germany’s Young Muslims Off the Road to Jihad

BERLIN — BARELY five feet tall, Claudia Dantschke was dwarfed by the lectern when she spoke at a recent gathering of German experts on Islam, its challenges to democracy and especially the luring of teenagers from Europe to join the war in Syria.

But that certainly did not stop Ms. Dantschke from being heard. Stocky, plainly dressed, she is a breathless fountain of words, one of Germany’s most prominent experts on its roughly four million Muslims, yet one who keeps her activities and research so firmly anchored in the community that she says she is rarely viewed as a threat.

Ms. Dantschke, 51, has counseled scores of families trying to prevent their sons and even some of their daughters from embarking on the path to jihad with extremist Muslim groups in Syria. The war is no abstraction in Germany, just a drive of a day or two away. That is particularly true for Turks born and raised here, who need no passport and no interpreter to enter Turkey and then hop over the border…

Italy: Priest Among 40 Indictments Sought for IDI

Father Franco Decaminada head of health sector until Dec 2011

(ANSA) — Rome, March 7 — A Catholic priest on the board of Rome skin hospital IDI was among 40 people prosecutors asked to indict Monday in a probe into a Church-run healthcare group. Father Franco Decaminada was head of its health sector until December 2011. The case involves the multi-million-euro crack-up of a religious body that ran the Rome hospital and two clinics.

The 40 are threatened with indictment on 144 counts of bankruptcy fraud, money laundering and embezzlement in what prosecutors said was the 2007-2012 “despoiling” of the religious entity, called the Italian Province of the Congregation of the Sons of the Immaculate Conception (Picfic).

In Rome, Picfic runs the Dermopathic Institute of the Immaculate Virgin (IDI), the 250-bed San Carlo di Nancy hospital, and the Villa Paola clinic, among others.

The three main suspects — all of whom were arrested in April 2013 — are Decaminada, former IDI executive Domenico Temperini, and his former advisor Antonio Nicolella.

Complaints by IDI employees that they were not getting their paychecks sparked the probe, which led to the seizure of six million euros in assets from Decaminada and Temperini.

Finance police discovered IDI was 845 million euros in the red and 450 million euros in tax evasion while 82 million euros had been diverted and six million euros in public funds embezzled.

Picfic declared bankruptcy and went into receivership in May 2013.

The crack-up was “a direct consequence of repeated plundering behaviors”, investigators said.

Italy: Muslim Teen Reports Physical Abuse by Family, Investigation

Girl confides in teacher at Bologna high school

(ANSA) — Bologna, March 7 — Prosecutors are investigating reports of alleged maltreatment suffered by a teenage Muslim girl at the hands of her family, it emerged on Monday.

The girl, aged between 14 and 15 and of north African origin, reportedly told a teacher at her high school in Bologna that she had been hit with blunt objects by her parents and two elder brothers, slapped and had salt rubbed into her eyes.

The alleged abuse was punishment for behaviour which her family considered to be too ‘western’, she said.

Specifically, they were allegedly unhappy that she hung out with Italian friends.

Senior EU Officials Warn UK Against Brexit Amid Fears of ‘Domino Effect’

Two senior EU officials have raised warnings over the political and economic ramifications of Britain leaving the EU, saying a potential Brexit would trigger long and difficult negotiations between London and Brussels, while it would also embolden other Euroskeptic movements throughout the continent.

As the Brexit debate continues in the UK, Italian finance minister Pier Carlo Padoan said Britain would find it difficult to negotiate a free trade agreement with the EU from outside the bloc, which comes after German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schauble said a Brexit would lead to “the most difficult negotiations”.

Raising concerns about the difficulty Britain would have in negotiating access to the free market if it voted to leave the EU, Padoan said there would be extreme levels of uncertainty from both sides.

“Whenever you break an agreement you know what you are going to lose, you do not know what you are going to gain in the next agreement,” he told the Guardian.

The comments come after the hugely influential Schaeuble told the BBC that a Brexit would “poison” the economies of Europe and the UK.

“We would have years of the most difficult negotiations, which would be very difficult for the EU as well. And for years we would have such insecurity that would be a poison to the economy in the UK, the European continent and for the global economy as well.”

The intervention from the finance ministers comes as politicians on both sides of the debate in the UK put forward their arguments to either remain or leave the EU.

While anti-EU figures say Britain would be able to negotiate more favorable trade deals with the EU and other emerging economies if it left the bloc, others disagree, saying that the UK would be punished by Brussels and would find it difficult to strike trade deals without the clout that comes with being part of the 28-member union.

‘Brexit Could Fire Up Euroskepticism’

On top of the economic concerns of a Brexit, Italian finance minister Padoan said a British vote to leave the EU could trigger a “domino effect” across the continent, which could even lead to foundation states like France looking to cut ties with the bloc.

“We are already seeing a domino effect with anti-European parties gaining a lot of support, starting in France,” adding that a British departure would set a bad precedent.

“From a political perspective, Brexit would be the demonstration that if you have an anti-European program you can implement that program,” he said.

“It would be a message sent to many anti-European parties all across Europe and to some anti-European governments. It would have especially in the medium term quite dramatic implications.”

The fears over such a domino effect could also hurt British chances of negotiating favorable access to the EU single market, Padoan said, suggesting that some figures may look to punish and make an example out of Britain if it leaves the bloc.

“Some other countries might want to take another Brexit option and then the political landscape in Europe would be changing and so it all becomes more difficult to control.

“If there was a Front National victory in France for instance next year, given what the Front National program is, I am not sure where France would stand in the event of a Brexit vote in the UK. It makes everything more complicated.”

UK Justice Secretary Blames EU for Upsurge in Far-Right Sentiment

UK Secretary of State for Justice Michael Gove said that the European Court of Justice has undermined the ability of the British intelligence to monitor people suspected of terrorism, EU judicial bodies’ control over British intelligence agencies conflicts with UK interests.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — UK Secretary of State for Justice Michael Gove blamed the EU policy for the growing popularity of far-right movements in Europe, a local news outlet reported Sunday.

“The far right is stronger across the continent at any time since the 1930s,” Gove told The Sunday Times in his first newspaper interview since announcing the decision to campaign for the so-called Brexit.

Gove also said that the European Court of Justice has undermined the ability of the British intelligence to monitor people suspected of terrorism. According to him, EU judicial bodies’ control over British intelligence agencies conflicts with UK interests.

“I think overall our national security is strengthened if we are able to make the decisions that we need and the alliances that we believe in outside of the current structures of the European Union,” Gove said.

London Mayor Boris Johnson, who has recently joined the “out” campaign ahead of a June 23 referendum on whether the United Kingdom should leave the European Union, expressed a similar point of view to the media outlet, saying that EU rules were “prejudicial” to UK security.

Last month, British Prime Minister David Cameron struck a deal with his 27 fellow EU leaders on reforms to be implemented in an effort to keep the United Kingdom in the bloc.

The February 19 agreement to revise the bloc will only come into force if the British people opt for a future inside the European Union during the referendum in June.

After the agreement with Brussels, Cameron said the deal delivers on all of his reform commitments and called on the British public to vote in favor of maintaining the EU membership.

On Friday, Director-General of the British Chambers of Commerce John Longworth was suspended after he had voiced support for Brexit, suggesting that the reforms agreed of the bloc were not satisfactory.

India: Chattisgarh: Seven Hindu Radicals Arrested for Vandalizing Pentecostal Church

The attackers, about 20, fled at arrival of police on motorcycles. According to witnesses, they were wearing the Hindu saffron headgear and devastated everything in their path. 65 worshipers beaten, including women. A child was thrown to the ground, women’s clothes ripped. Christian leaders: “The anti-conversion law denies constitutional freedoms”.

Raipur (AsiaNews) — In the early hours of this morning, the police in Raipur, Chhattisgarh State, arrested seven people involved in the assault on the Pentecostal church of the village of Kachna, yesterday during the Sunday prayer.

About 20 Hindu radicals wearing saffron head gear broke into the church shouting “Jai Shri Ram” [ “Victory to the god Ram”, ed], disrupting the function, beating the 65 worshipers, including women, and destroying everything in their path.

Sajan K George, president of the Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC), told AsiaNews: “The GCIC condemns the attack by right-wing fascist elements in the state ruled by the BJP [Bharatiya Janata Party, the Hindu] nationalists. The repeated attacks against the Christian minority are a blatant violation of constitutional guarantees, human rights and the rights of women. “

After the attack a massive manhunt took place to identify the culprits, who have disappeared on the arrival of the police motorcycles. Neeraj Chandrakar, the local superintendent, said: “The extremists have damaged chairs, fans and other items on the premises. They then beat the faithful gathered for prayer. “

One of them, Ms. Sahu said assailants “also used violence against women.” Witnesses reported that the radicals entered the church at around 12, chanting slogans worshipping Hindu gods.

The superintendent adds: “The attackers snatched the women’s garments. They even threw a child to the ground”. The victims have filed a complaint and the police have registered the case for breach of Articles 452 (intentional trespassing to do harm), 295 (damage or contamination of a place of worship with intent to insult the religion of any class) and 147 (uprising) of the Indian penal Code.

The GCIC president said: “The attackers accused those present of being converted to Christianity. During the religious ceremony they made allegations of conversion [forced]. The known anti-conversion law, which ironically has been called the Chhattisgarh Religion Freedom Act, denies the secular values of the Constitution”.

Indonesia: Bekasi: Islamic Extremists Demonstrate Against the Construction of a Catholic Church

Hundreds of people come into the streets against the St Clara community. Some protesters even tried to attack the site of the future church, but police kept them back. Graffiti saying ‘No church construction allowed’ appeared near the site. Local authorities give Catholics a green light to go ahead.

Jakarta (AsiaNews) — Hundreds of Islamic extremists (pictured) took to the streets today in North Bekasi District, West Java Province, to protest against a permanent church for the local Catholic community.

For the past 17 years, the St Clara parish and its members have been embroiled in a fight to have their religious rights recognised. In late July last year, the parish obtained the required building permit*.

Islamist groups had reacted to that by organising protests against the “permanent church”, but since then, the situation had quieted down, until today when tensions flared up again.

The St Clara community has existed since 1999 even though it has never had its own church. For years, Catholics took part in Sunday Mass and on other occasions, first at one, then at two separate locations because of the growing membership.

However, one of the two locations was no longer available last year. The community was thus left with a small building with room for 300 people in a commercial area.

Eman Dapaloka, a local Catholic and former seminarian, said that four celebrations are held every weekend to meet the needs of the St Clara congregation, which includes some 1,900 households or 7,000 people. In view of the limited space, many members have to travel to other neighbourhoods to attend Mass.

In the past, the need for a permanent place of worship has come up against local authorities and extremist groups. Complicating matters, getting a building permit is a long process in Indonesia, and can take up to ten years.

For Christians, both Catholics and Protestants, the whole thing is even more difficult because they need the backing of the local interfaith dialogue group and the signatures of at least 60 residents from the area where they plan to build a church.

Often local officials come up with “unspecified reasons” to block plans under pressure from radical Islamic movements. When the authorities do issue a building permit for Christians, extremists took to the streets to protest.

In an incident last year, demonstrators tried to tear down some sign posts on the site of the future church, but were stopped by police before they could cause any damage. Outside though, they spray-painted a graffiti that read ‘No church construction allowed’.

For their part, Bekasi authorities, including Mayor Rahmat Effendi, reacted by reiterating the validity of the issued permit, noting that Catholics can build their place of worship.

The site of the new church is in Harapan Baru, a village in North Bekasi District, some 25 km from the capital Jakarta. The land owned by Catholics covers some 6,000 sq. metres; the building itself would cover about 1,500 sq. metres.

Catholics in Bekasi are not alone in this predicament. Co-religionists in St Bernadette Parish in Ciledug, Tangerang City, Banten Province, went through the same experience. Even though they had a permit to build, they have been unable to do so for the past two years because of opposition from extremist groups.

Indonesia is the world’s most populous Muslim nation. Catholics are a small minority of about seven million, or 3 per cent of the population. In the Archdiocese of Jakarta, they are 3.6 per cent of the population.

However, they are an active part of society, and have contributed to the nation’s development and played a major role in emergency operations.

Anti-Migrant German Populist Party Surges in Local Polls

Germany’s right-wing populist AfD party, which has railed against a record migrant influx, made strong gains in local polls in the western state of Hesse, results showed Monday, ahead of key state elections this weekend.

The Alternative for Germany (AfD) became the third-biggest party in Hesse, with support reaching 13.2 percent, according to initial results.

The eurosceptic party, which sparked a storm in January by suggesting police may have to shoot at migrants at the borders, was eroding support for Chancellor Angela Merkel’s ruling Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and junior coalition partner the Social Democratic Party (SPD)…

Greek Authorities Should be Ready to Lodge Refugees — Merkel

German Chancellor urged Greek officials to prepare promised accommodation for refugees as soon as possible although she assumed the task is hard to achieve.

MOSCOW, March 6 (Sputnik) — German Chancellor Angela Merkel told German media that the Greek authorities should hurry up with providing the promised amount of proper accommodation places for refugees.

In October, Greece agreed for opening reception centers to host 30,000 refugees by the end of 2015, with the United Nations to help provide another 20,000 places.

“Initially, Greece should have created 50,000 accommodation places for refugees by the end of 2015….The arrears must be resolved just now at lightning speed because the Greek government has to guarantee [refugees] decent accommodation,” Merkel told the German tabloid Bild am Sonntag on Saturday.

The German Chancellor also stressed that the task is not easy, that is why Greece needs help and support of the European Union on the issue.

Europe has been beset by a massive refugee crisis, with hundreds of thousands of undocumented migrants fleeing their home countries to escape violence and poverty.

In February, Austria and Slovenia introduced quotas on a number of people entering their territory and number of asylum applications. The two countries agreed to jointly profile and register refugees and asylum-seekers at the Macedonian-Greek border, which led to refugees crowding in Greece.

Turkey’s Erdogan Bemoans ‘Four-Month’ Delay Over EU Refugee Funds

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Monday criticised the European Union for a four-month delay in disbursing a promised 3 billion euro fund for refugees agreed under a November deal.

“It’s been four months. They are yet to deliver,” Erdogan said in a speech in Ankara, as Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu held summit talks on the migrant crisis with EU leaders.

“Mr prime minister is currently in Brussels. I hope he will return with the money,” added Erdogan.

The EU clinched an agreement with Turkey to deliver 3 billion euros ($3.3 billion) in funds for refugees in return for Ankara’s cooperation in tackling the refugee crisis — the worst in the continent’s history since World War II…

Where’s Wahid? Sweden Worried by Over 45,000 Missing Asylum Seekers

Swedish police have warned that as many as 46,000 migrants who have been denied asylum in Sweden may go underground after their claims are rejected, Svenska Dagbladet reported.

Sweden’s Migration Agency expects tens of thousands of people to be refused the right to stay in the country up to 2019, and Swedish police have warned that many of them may stay in the country illegally and avoid detection, Svenska Dagbladet reported on Saturday.

According to Sweden’s Migration Agency, over the next three years more than 60,000 failed asylum cases could be handed over to the police. However, the agency expects 46,000 people to slip off the radar after having their applications rejected.

The figures are based on migration projections the Migration Agency made in February; the agency expects 100,000 asylum applications in 2016 and 75,000 the following year.

“There is a huge amount of people who will disappear. It is very problematic,” national border police commander Per Lowenberg told Svenska Dagbladet.

“We only find about 10 to 20 percent of those who abscond.”

In 2015 nearly 163,000 people sought asylum in Sweden; in October alone, the country saw 39,196 arrivals. As of January 2016, the country had a population of 9.86 million.

Svenska Dagbladet reported that last year the authorities refused 10,627 asylum applications. Approximately 2,627 of them were forced to leave the country, but 7,331 disappeared and are wanted by the police.

Swedish Liberals Propose Abortions for Men

The youth wing of Sweden’s Liberal Party has proposed that men who don’t want to be fathers are allowed a “legal abortion,” the Aftonbladet newspaper reported.

The youth wing of the Liberal Party in western Sweden (LUF Vast) has come up with a controversial proposal that gives men the right to legally opt out of being a parent, Sweden’s Aftonbladet newspaper reported on Friday.

“Men should have the same right to opt out of parenting,” Marcus Nilsen, Chairman of LUF Vast, told the newspaper.

Nilsen stressed that the motion was first proposed by a group of female Liberal Party members, and has the backing of the rest of the party.

“It is important to discuss the role of men in pregnancy,” he said.

According to the proposal, men would have the right to opt of out the legal responsibilities of being a father up to the 18th week of pregnancy, the final point at which a woman can choose to have an abortion.

This “legal abortion” would be final, and men should not be able to change their mind later, Nilsen said.

Nilsen explained that the legislation would help men who do not dare say that they don’t want children, or don’t want to be involved in being a parent when their partner becomes pregnant.

“There are typical examples of men taking the easy route and not being clear about how involved they want to be. It is important that men are honest with their intentions. With this proposal, there is a clear legal decision.”

Sweden’s Nyheter24 news website conducted an online poll about the proposal. The majority of respondents, 127, voted in favor of the proposal, and 100 voted against.

A more senior spokesman from the mother party told Nyheter24 that the motion does not have broader support from the Liberals, and that “we think the current legislation is good as it is.”

The proposal is to allow “legal abortion” is not the first controversial recent proposal from the young Liberals, and has been more popular with internet users than a suggestion from the Stockholm branch last month to lift bans on incest and necrophilia.

“One should do what one wants with her body when one is dead, basically. For example one can bequeath it to a museum, research or give permission if someone wants to sleep with it,” said Cecilia Johnsson, 22, Liberal Youth League president of Greater Stockholm, about the incest policy.

“The law should not moralize about who somebody has sex with, even if it’s a sibling.”

Those “Ultra-Safe” Self-Driving Cars May be More Lethal Than We Think

These are some of the elements of the fully autonomous, self-driving car. And some of it sounds good-and may well be. But taking the driver out of the equation entirely-or relying too much on technology-can have its downsides, too.

As anyone who owns a PC knows, computers develop glitches sometimes. It’s annoying when it happens at your desk. But it could be lethal when it happens at 75 MPH on the freeway.

And it’s probably more likely to happen with an autonomous car, because the computer that controls it-unlike the computer on your desk-will be subjected to extremes of heat and cold, vibration and moisture, etc.

[Comment: These are great for NWO. They can control where, when, how fast the car drives. They can shut the car down anytime for non payment of fees, or even drive you straight to your assigned gulag.]

  1. Excellent delivery system and a true terrorist hacker’s delight. The more we detach from the mind of God the bigger jokers we become. Love n peace.

  2. PS Maybe this very 1930’s World’s Fair think will be the Goulag and come to you. “Get in the car” For ten years.

  3. NYPost: Boston Bombing survivor dies in car crash in Dubai

An updated and related article from another source:
“Canadian boxer among four killed in Dubai Ferrari car crash”
    provides more questions than answers:

“DUBAI // Two men and two women died when their rented, two-seat Ferrari 458 Spider hit a pavement, crashed into a lamppost and split in two in the early hours of Sunday.

How do four adults fit into a two seater?

I couldn’t help but wonder what the devil this young lady was doing in Dubai after having survived the Boston Marathon bombing? Given the misogynist nature of that culture and details provided in the above quote about the two seat vehicle involving 4 passenger deaths…one cannot help but ask, were these women really involved in that car crash or did they fall victim to something/someone else?

  4. I’ve heard of the “legal abortion” for men idea before. Thing is, this is just the natural consequence of allowing women to get abortions and the same arguments apply. If women are going to use the “it’s my right to control my body” argument then the same argument applies to men.

Anyone who doesn’t like this idea should be opposing abortion altogether.
