Ad Shows Army Prepping for Martial Law: “This is Not Battle Training. This is Riot Control”

Will martial law be declared on American soil?

Will economic collapse and urban riots result in the final and total loss of civil liberties right here at home?

It could happen, and it is one of the “eventualities” that the military is preparing for, though they are constitutionally barred from being used domestically against the American people.

Part of the U.S. Army’s latest ad campaign, broadcast frequently during football games and sporting events, and widely across many television programs, includesa 30-second spot that shows soldiers training with shields used for domestic riot control.

Watch the ad; the riot shield appear from about :10-:13 seconds in:

The overall surface message of the commercial is intended to show a force operating across the globe in many capacities, many of which reflect an empire that has gone too far.

But how many television viewers stopped to contemplate why the Army is training for crowd control and riots?

You Tuber Texas Shrugged Book points out that there are few overseas missions, if any, where soldiers would be engaged in these activities — and perhaps NO legitimate missions for this training here on U.S. soil.

Watch his analysis below:…

Cargill Meat Solutions Confronts Sharia Demands of CAIR and Somali Muslim Workers in Colorado

Just before New Years, Cargill Meat Solutions. fired 190 Somali émigré meatpackers at their plant in Fort Morgan, Colorado. The company is headquartered in Wichita, Kansas, a business unit of the global Cargill, Inc. headquartered in Minneapolis. 200 Somali Muslim workers had staged a walkout on December 18th protesting processing line restrictions for time off to fulfill daily prayers. Cargill had endeavored to set up arrangements at the Fort Morgan plant to assure production continuity and set aside a room at the facility that employees of various religious persuasions could avail themselves of.

CAIR, the self-styled Muslim civil rights group and Muslim Brotherhood front, had intervened on behalf of the fired workers to negotiate a waiver from a Cargill employment policy that those fired would not have to what to wait six months before being re-hired. There have been allegations by both CAIR and Somali workers at the Cargill Fort Morgan facility that their rights to freedom of worship under the First Amendment were being assaulted and their obligation to fulfill their Islamic daily prayers superseded production schedules. Commentary in the media implored the parties in the dispute to resolve their differences somehow preserving worship for Somali workers under Sharia. Note this Denver Post, editorial, “Religious liberty and the Cargill meatpacking plant:”…

Entire Florida Police Dept Busted Laundering Tens of Millions for International Drug Cartels

The village of Bal Harbour, population 2,513, may have a tiny footprint on the northern tip of Miami Beach, but its police department had grand aspirations of going after international drug traffickers, and making a few million dollars while they were at it.

The Bal Harbour PD and the Glades County Sheriff’s Office set up a giant money laundering scheme with the purported goal of busting drug cartels and stemming the surge of drug dealing going on in the area. But it all fell apart when federal investigators and the Miami-Herald found strange things going on.

The two-year operation, which took in more than $55 million from criminal groups, resulted in zero arrests but netted $2.4 million for the police posing as money launderers. Members of the 12-person task force traveled far and wide to carry out their deals, from Los Angeles to New York to Puerto Rico.

Along the way, the small-town cops got a taste of luxury as they used the money for first-class flights, luxury hotels, Mac computers and submachine guns. Meanwhile, the Bal Harbour PD and Glades County Sheriffs were buying all sorts of fancy new equipment.

Besides these “official” uses of the money, confidential records obtained by the Miami-Herald show that officers withdrew hundreds of thousands of dollars with no record of where the money went.

Meet Knightscope’s Crime-Fighting Robots

The robots might one day rise up and take over, but a Palo Alto startup called Knightscope has developed a fleet of crime-fighting machinery it hopes to keep us safe.

Knightscope’s K5 security bots resemble a mix between R2D2 and a Dalek from Doctor Who — and the system behind these bots is a bit Orwellian. The K5’s have broadcasting and sophisticated monitoring capabilities to keep public spaces in check as they rove through open areas, halls and corridors for suspicious activity.

Obama’s Plan to Tighten Gun Laws Sets Up Rematch With Powerful Gun Rights Group NRA

The National Rifle Association, the country’s most influential gun-rights supporter, is challenging President Obama’s new plan to use his presidential powers to tighten firearms laws, calling it a “political stunt” that fails to increase public safety.

Obama said this weekend that he’ll meet Monday with Attorney General Loretta Lynch to discuss his “options” toward curbing gun violence, after ordering his White House team several months ago to identify “new actions” that he can take.

The president also said that he’s taking action because Congress has failed to act.

Oklahoma Toddler’s Death Puts Spotlight on Battery Dangers

The day after Christmas, 2-year-old Brianna Florer was laughing and jumping around with her older brother and two sisters, opening presents at her grandparents’ home.

The next day the precocious blonde-haired toddler was dead.

An X-ray of her body showed the “killer” was a button battery.

“They operated on her for 21/2 hours, but they couldn’t stop the bleeding,” Vice said. “They believed the battery (acid) ate through to her carotid artery by way of her esophagus. … We had no idea when she swallowed it (the battery).”

Oregon Ranching Case Sparks Anti-Government Sentiment

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The father and son of a prominent Oregon ranching family plan to surrender Monday to serve more time in prison for setting fires that spread to government lands they leased as cattle rangeland.

Seventy-three-year-old Dwight Hammond and 46-year-old Steven Hammond say they lit the fires in 2001 and 2006 to reduce the growth of invasive plants and protect their property from wildfires.

The two were convicted three years ago and served time, but a judge ruled the terms were too short. Federal lawyers prosecuted the ranchers under an anti-terrorism law that they say required a five-year minimum sentence…

Vaccine Uptake Reaches All-Time Lows, Policy Shifts to Mandatory Enforcement and Criminalization for Refusal

(NaturalNews) History is being made on how the world is responding to vaccination. Even long-term health professionals are refusing to vaccinate themselves in the face of continued injury and death being caused by the practice. Almost half of healthcare professionals are now refusing to vaccinate and children’s uptake for HPV, influenza, chicken pox and many other vaccines are reaching historic lows as the awakening spans across the planet.

One thing is for sure — those who have stopped vaccinating will never start vaccinating again. So the challenge for the pharmaceutical industrial complex is now aggressively shifting to holding on to the remaining vaccinators before they convert to the anti-vaccine position. How will they do this? Fear of course. (Story by Dave Mihalovic, republished from PreventDisease.com)

There’s a consequence to this awakening. As more people become informed and pull away from the clutches of fear, anxiety and control that accompanies vaccination, more public health and government policy will enforce their position through aggression and threats. That alone is a clear indication of which stance holds true merit and which one doesn’t…

State legislatures are now dealing with a rash of legislation to tighten vaccination rules in reaction to the targeted media attack against the anti-vaccination movement that started with the coordinated Disneyland measles outbreak. The media outcry was designed to focus on parents who choose not to vaccinate their children. With Disneyland scare, it’s now been established at least half of the Disneyland children who allegedly caught measles WERE vaccinated.

In California, a group of state legislators announced last week that they would sponsor a bill to eliminate the state’s “personal belief” exemption, which includes the religious exemption, from the state’s vaccination laws.

The end of exemption laws are just one part of the equation, but there are also calls to imprison parents who don’t comply and revoke the licenses of Doctors who don’t comply with vaccine promotion.

Washington Post Propaganda Claims Muslims Shouldn’t Condemn Islamist Terrorism, Because White Males Are the Real Terrorists

(NaturalNews) The Washington Post’s editorial pages are once again being used to spread hate, discontent and propaganda, this time as a defense against Islamist extremists who belong to organizations dedicated to the murder of as many Western “infidels” as possible.

In a piece headlined, “Stop asking me to condemn terrorists just because I’m Muslim,” Rana Elmir, a far-Left pseudo-academic deputy director of the ACLU of Michigan and a frequent lecturer on issues related to Islamophobia, free speech and the intersection of race, faith and gender, writes that she “emphatically” resists any call by some in the media, in politics and in other sectors of society to condemn Islamist terrorists.

Oh, those terrorist organizations — Islamic State, al Qaeda, Boko Haram, al Shabab and others — are “foreign” to her, she admits, in a weak attempt at condemnation. But it only came with this qualifier: That terror is just as foreign as “the terror advanced by mostly white men at the alarming rate of one mass killing every two weeks in this country.”

British Troops Could Face Charges Over Iraq War: Probe Chief

British soldiers accused of unlawful killing and torture during the Iraq War could face prosecution, the head of an official unit probing alleged abuses said in an interview published Saturday.

Former police detective Mark Warwick, who is now leading the Iraq Historic Allegations Team (Ihat) set up by the Ministry of Defence, told The Independent newspaper he believed his team had gathered enough evidence to justify charges.

“There are serious allegations that we are investigating across the whole range of probe investigations, which incorporates homicide, where I feel there is significant evidence to be obtained to put a strong case before the Service Prosecuting Authority (SPA) to prosecute and charge,” he said…

German Party Proposes Electronic Monitoring Bracelets for Radical Islamists

Germany’s Christian Social Union party (CSU) from the ruling CDU/CSU alliance has proposed electronic ankle bracelets and revocation of citizenship for radical Islamists, local media reported.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — CSU members from south Bavaria’s Wildbad Kreuth have prepared a motion, seen by Die Welt newspaper, that sets out steps to “effectively combat terrorism.”

According to the document, German sympathizers of the Daesh, also known as ISIL/The Islamic State terror group, deemed a threat to the constitution, could be forced to wear ankle bracelets with electronic monitoring system round the clock, the outlet said Friday.

Stricter measures are reserved for Germans fighting for Daesh abroad. Under the CSU initiative, those returning from Syria may have German citizenship revoked.

Daesh is outlawed in the European Union, as well as in several other countries, including the United States and Russia.

A poll conducted by YouGov Deutschland in late December found that two-thirds of Germans expected Daesh militants to carry out a terrorist attack in their country in 2016. Germany, which is part of an international effort to defeat Islamists in Syria, has stepped up security measures in the wake of Paris terror attacks that killed 130 people in November.

German Police Remain on High Alert After Threat to Munich Train Stations

Police in the German city of Munich are maintaining a heightened presence following warnings of a planned attack on New Year’s Eve.

Two Munich train stations were evacuated late Thursday after German authorities received information from foreign intelligence agencies that five to seven Islamic State militants were planning coordinated attacks in the city.

A German security official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he wasn’t authorized to divulge the information publicly, said the key tip came from French authorities shortly before 8 p.m. local time.

Munich police spokesman Sven Mueller said descriptions of the alleged attackers included several “common Arab names” but that they could be false.

Italy: Five Chinese Arrested for Robbery, Kidnapping

‘Held two-year-old for ransom’

(ANSA) — Rome, January 28 — Italian police on Monday arrested five Chinese nationals on suspicion of robbing textile firms and restaurants and kidnapping a two-year-old for ransom.

The suspected gang was active in Liguria, Emilia Romagna and Tuscany, police said.

All the suspects have criminal records, including the babysitter of the abducted boy, police said.

Police believe the five belong to a gang that carried out at least one burglary in August in the coastal town of Rapallo and may have committed several more in the Emilia Romagna, Liguria and Tuscany regions.

The multiple arrests were carried out overnight in the cities of Bologna, Prato, and Santa Margherita Ligure.

The remaining 45.6% of deaths had various causes including being hit by cars, while less than 1% were due to attacks by other wolves.

Legambiente and the Maiella National Park in Abruzzo said they were setting up a special wolf-protection unit.

Italy: Alemanno Indicted in Rome Mafia Case

Ex-rightwing mayor charged with corruption, illicit financing

(ANSA) — Rome, December 18 — Former Rome mayor Gianni Alemanno was indicted Friday in the so-called Rome Mafia case involving a ring of gangsters, businessmen and politicians who muscled in on lucrative city contracts. The former rightwing politician faces charges of corruption and illicit financing. The first hearing in his case will be held March 23.

Alemanno is accused of receiving 125,000 euros in 2012-2014 via his Nuova Italia (New Italy) foundation in exchange for “acts running counter to his duties in office”.

Prosecutors say the money was funneled to him by three defendants in the Rome Mafia case — Salvatore Buzzi, the honcho of the leftwing cooperatives, in agreement with one-eyed former rightwing terrorist and gangster Massimo Carminati, and by Franco Panzironi, the former chief of AMA trash collection company.

The former mayor allegedly received 75,000 euros in financing for electoral dinners, 40,000 euros in financing for his foundation, and 10,000 euros in cash. Prosecutors say he took the last amount in October 2014, when he was no longer mayor and two months before the first round of Rome Mafia arrests.

Jihad in Germany: Suicide Bombers Still at Large: Were Planning to Kill Scores of People in Coordinated Attacks on New Year’s Eve

Last night Munich police acting on what has been described as a “ very concrete” tip from French intelligence services recalled all public New Year’ s Eve celebrations in their city and surrounding suburban towns.

Though it was initially unclear why, police rapidly evacuated train stations just hours before the end of 2015 citing an imminent threat.

According to emerging reports, a terrorism interrogation in France led investigators to identify a suicide bombing plot targeting Munich train systems and the thousands of would-be New Year’ s Eve partiers who would be commuting throughout the city.

Police in Munich are now saying that as many as seven suicide bombers were planning simultaneous attacks across the city:…

Available information at the time of this writing indicates that the 5 to 7 individuals suspected of planning the Munich attacks remain at large, meaning that they may be selecting new European targets at this very moment.

It is not clear how Syrian and Iraqi nationals could have possibly entered the country, though we can venture a guess that it may have something to do with the recent disorganized and uncontrolled migration of some one million “refugees” from, you guessed it, Syria, Iraq and other mid-east countries.

Radical Sunni Islamists Face Jail for Attack on Group of Shi’ites ‘In First Case of Muslim Sectarian Violence in Britain’

Radical Sunni Muslims are facing jail for attacking a group of Shi’ites in what is believed to be the first case of Muslim sectarian violence on the streets of Britain.

Violence broke out on London’s Edgware Road, a well-known Shia area, on May 10 last year during a protest organised by radical preacher Anjem Choudary calling for jihad in Syria.

Two men were beaten to the ground with placards and wooden sticks. One was so badly injured he had blood streaming down his face after being kicked in the head as he lay helpless on the floor.

Ginger-haired Jordan Horner, 20, part of the Sunni sect, attacked a man after calling him a ‘kuffir’, or non-believer.

Other members of the Sunni group including Mohammed Almagir, 34, Mirza Ali, 38, Mohad Uddin, 36, and Kamran Khan, 29, also joined in.

Alex Chalk, prosecuting, told the Old Bailey that the group were shouting ‘Shias are kuffirs. They are the enemy within. They are evil’ as they carried out the attack…

Israel in a Frenzy for Eros Ramazzotti Concert

Italian singer to play Tel Aviv on April 30

(ANSAmed) — ROME, DECEMBER 31 — Anyone who has visited Israel knows that it’s not unusual to hear some of the most famous songs by Eros Ramazzoti playing in the background at a bar, on a beach, or in a taxi, said the magazine of Italy’s Jewish community, Pagine Ebraiche (Jewish Pages).

Israel has been wild for the Roman singer for at least the past 20 years, and recent news that he will play a concert in Tel Aviv on April 30 as part of his “Perfetto Tour” has been greeted by local fans with rapture. On the Israeli Facebook page dedicated to Ramazzotti, comments arrived immediately, said Pagine Ebraiche.

“I’ve read this news four times and I still can’t believe it,” wrote a commenter named Anat.

“Are you serious?? This is a dream come true,” wrote Ofer.

“Mom, buy me a ticket,” wrote Liam.

“When can we buy tickets?” wrote Mor.

The singer who has sold 60 million albums and performed in various successful duets — from Anastacia to Tina Turner, from Ricky Martin to Cher — will play Tel Aviv’s Menora Mivtachim Arena, famous home of Maccabi Tel Aviv basketball, which holds over 8,000 spectators.

Helicon Music is bringing Ramazzotti to Israel, led by Guy Messer and Shay Mor Yosef of BlueStone Productions, the duo behind Enrique Iglesias’s sold-out concert last fall as well as past concerts by Rihanna, Bon Jovi, and One Republic.

Their ambitious plans even include a project to create an Israeli music festival along the lines of California’s Coachella.

Surely even Israeli model Bar Refaeli is enthusiastic about the news, after confessing to being a fan of Ramazzotti’s during her appearance at the Sanremo Music Festival in 2013.

“Ramazzotti, who I really like, is a true idol in Israel, irresistible to all the girls,” she said at the time.

Watch your wallets though, said Pagine Ebraiche: tickets will start at 290 shekels (about 68 euros) and go for as much as 1,800 shekels (423 euros).

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The UK authorities in an updated travel advisory on Saturday urged its citizens in Israel to remain up to date with advice of local security forces and take precautions while traveling in the region amid heightened tensions following a shooting attack in Tel Aviv.

“If in the area, you should remain vigilant and follow the advice of the security forces,” the advisory said.

At least two individuals were killed and seven others sustained injuries in a shooting in a pub in central Tel Aviv on Friday afternoon. The assailant opened fire using an automatic weapon.

‘Europe Turns a Blind Eye’ To Erdogan’s Praise of Nazi Germany

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s praise of Adolf Hitler’s Germany, which he cited as an example of effective centralized government, was ignored by a Europe Union more concerned with negotiations surrounding refugees, French politicians said.

European politicians have preferred to “turn a blind eye” to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s praise of Adolf Hitler’s leadership of Germany, French legislator Thierry Mariani wrote on Twitter.

Erdogan told reporters on Friday, that Nazi Germany under Adolf Hitler was an “example” of an effective form of government. Erdogan’s office later issued a convoluted statement which attempted to explain that Erdogan meant to say the exact opposite. Erdogan cited Nazi Germany as an example of a system which had a unitary system of government and a strong executive, like the one he wants for himself.

?”Erdogan cites Hitler’s Germany as an example! But Europe turns a blind eye, preferring to negotiate with him…”

Another legislator member of the Nicolas Sarkozy-led Republicans party, Valerie Boyer, echoed Mariani’s concerns:

?”Erdogan uses Nazi Germany as an example. Is Turkey’s entry into the EU still timely?”

A senator from France’s upper house of the legislature also questioned recent moves by the European commission to open a new chapter in Turkey’s EU membership process amid negotiations on refugee trafficking:

?”Erdogan wants to strengthen his powers as President in Turkey, he cites Hitler in Nazi Germany! And Europe is negotiating membership?”

Turkey and the European Union opened a chapter on the country’s membership in the organization on December 14, amid negotiation on the migrant deal.

Iran, Germany, Middle East Muslim Leaders Condemn Saudi Arabia’s Execution of Prominent Shiite Cleric

Saudi Arabia’s execution of a prominent Shiite cleric Saturday drew strong condemnation from Iran, Germany and several Muslim leaders in the Middle East while stoking fears the execution could trigger new unrest among the kingdom’s Shiite minority.

Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr, a central figure in the 2011 Arab Spring-inspired protests in Saudi Arabia, was one of 47 prisoners executed in the kingdom after being condemned to death on terrorism charges.

Iranian Protesters Storm Saudi Embassy, Foreign Ministry Calls for Calm

DUBAI Angry Iranian protesters stormed Saudi Arabia’s embassy in Tehran in the early hours of Sunday, smashing furniture and starting fires before being removed by the police.

The protesters had gathered outside the embassy to protest against Saudi Arabia’s execution of Nimr al-Nimr, a prominent cleric from the kingdom’s Shi’ite minority, on terrorism charges that Iran said were unjustified.

They then broke into the building and lit fires inside before being cleared by police, the ISNA news agency reported. Images shared on social media appeared to show protesters smashing furniture inside the embassy.

Later images showed police in full riot gear guarding the premises as firefighters doused the building. ISNA said Tehran’s police chief was on the scene to restore calm.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Hossein Jaber Ansari called for calm and said there should be no more demonstrations around Saudi diplomatic premises, the state news agency IRNA reported.

Iranian Protesters Ransack Saudi Embassy After Execution of Shiite Cleric

Iranian protesters ransacked and set fire to part of the Saudi Embassy in Tehran on Saturday after Saudi Arabia executed an outspoken Shiite cleric who had criticized the kingdom’s treatment of its Shiite minority.

Protesters broke furniture and smashed windows in an annex to the embassy, said a witness who was reached by telephone from Tehran. The protesters also set fire to the room, said the witness, who would provide only his first name, Abolfazl, because he had been involved in the protest.

The police arrived and cleared the embassy grounds of protesters and extinguished the fire, he said.

The protest against the execution of the cleric, Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr, turned violent after participants began throwing Molotov cocktails at the embassy and then broke into the compound.

Sheikh Nimr was executed in Saudi Arabia along with 47 men on terrorism-related charges, drawing condemnation from Iran and its allies in the region as well as protests around Iran and in other countries.

ISIS: The ‘Enemy’ The US Created, Armed, And Funded

To delve into Daesh’s convoluted money trail, one must first explore its equally convoluted origins. And in both areas, the role of the U.S. and its allies can not be ignored. Out of nowhere, it seems, Daesh, also commonly referred to as ISIL or ISIS, spontaneously formed, a group that perverts aspects of Islam for its own violent ends, and threatens, we are told, all that the civilized world holds dear.

The “war on terror,” governments inform their citizens, has a new front. And that front is Daesh.

Let us not be too hasty. Things are not always what they appear. Daesh is well-financed, and that money must be coming from somewhere other than a ragtag band of malcontents. Daesh soldiers have advanced weaponry and sophisticated communications methods. They have tanks and Humvees. None of these can be obtained without significant funding. Though the source is quite elusive, there is some evidence that will lead to a trail.

Nepalese Women Trafficked to Syria and Forced to Work as Maids

While millions are fleeing the brutal conflict in Syria, hundreds of Nepalese women are being trafficked to the war-torn country and forced to work as domestic maids. The women, who are duped into travelling to Damascus, often arrive in the country with no idea they are being sent to a war zone.

“I didn’t know anything about Syria. I didn’t realise there was war going on … The agent told me it was like America,” said Gyanu Reshmi Magar, 25, who was promised a job in Dubai but found herself forced into domestic service in the Syrian capital.

Magar, who was trafficked to Syria through India and then Oman and Dubai, begged to be sent back to Nepal only to be told, “We bought you for $6,000 [£4,000]. You can’t go home unless you pay back that money.”

The trade in women from Nepal to Syria is thriving, according to a Nepalese diplomat.

On the Trail of Dubai’s Stolen Gold: A Robbed Client Breaks the Silence, And a Fascinating Detail Emerges

On Christmas Day, 2015, we told our readers the fascinating tale about the Turkish-Iranian gold smuggling ring — perhaps the biggest and most brazen in history, one which lasted for years, which saw billions in gold transported out of Turkey and into Iran to allow Tehran to circumvent the western financial sanctions using gold as a medium for barter, and which was all made possible thanks to the tiny Emirate of Dubai.

What made this particular instance of gold smuggling especially memorable is that it reached to the very political top in both Turkey, and Iran, and Dubai.

However, while the broad framework of Turkey’s exporting of gold to Iran, initially directly and then via Dubai, had been already in the public domain, Zero Hedge first revealed the man, or rather people, who made it all possible: the Dubai gold “trading” company of Gold.A.E. — is a subsidiary of Gold Holdings Ltd, a company which is owned by SBK Business Holdings and Abu Dhabi’s second in command, the son and avisor to the ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheik Sultan bin khalifah Al Nahyan.

The reason why Gold.A.E. suddenly, and very dramatically, emerged on the global arena is because as we first reported a week ago, the company’s “new” management team admitted that after many months of “inquiries”, it had discovered that not only had the “old” management, led by the now former CEO of Gold A.E., Mohammad Abu Alhaj disappeared, but that all the money — and gold — held at Gold.A.E. which once again was primarily a “trading” front for the Turkish-Dubai-Iran gold smuggling triangle, had been stolen.

Here, for those who missed it the first time, is the letter that Gold.A.E.’s stunned clients received in late December:

[Comment: Reads like a spy novel. Follow the gold.]

Iglesias Show’s Organisers ‘Should be Whipped’: Sri Lanka Leader

Sri Lanka President Maithripala Sirisena Sunday said that organisers of a recent concert by pop star Enrique Iglesias in Colombo should be “whipped with toxic stingray tails” because it was “uncivilised.”

The December 20 concert in capital Colombo saw ecstatic local women running on stage to hug and kiss the “Hero” singer while others threw their underwear at him, Sirisena told a public meeting in the eastern district of Ampara.

“This is most uncivilised behaviour that goes against our culture,” the president said…

Italy and India ‘In Secret Talks for Marines’ Release’

Local media say ‘road map’ being hashed out

(ANSA) — New Delhi, December 31 — India and Italy are reportedly in secret talks to draw up a ‘road map’ to end diplomatic tension over the case of two Italian marines accused by New Delhi of killing two Indian fishermen during an anti-piracy mission in 2012, the Calcutta local paper The Telegraph reported on Thursday.

The case of Salvatore Girone and Massimilano Latorre has strained relations between Rome and New Delhi and Italy has taken the case to international arbitration after a long series of delays.

The daily quoted three senior Indian officials as saying that the agreement would “require each to agree to key requests of the other” but that “the negotiations will in no way interfere with the legal aspects of the case being heard” at the International Court of Justice in The Hague and “will not attempt any out-of-court settlement”.

If the talks prove successful, India “will not object to any Italian plea before the Supreme Court to allow Salvatore Girone, one of the two marines arrested for shooting dead two Kerala fishermen off India’s coast on February 15, 2012, to return to Italy”. In August the Hamburg-based International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea stated that India has no jurisdiction over the case, and put the case up to the International Court of Justice in The Hague.

The Indian Supreme Court has suspended all judicial proceedings regarding the two Italian marines in compliance with the Hamburg court’s ruling and is due to reassess the situation in January.

Girone is not allowed to leave India and is staying at the Italian embassy in New Delhi.

India granted Latorre leave to return to Italy last year after he suffered a stroke.

Prior to this, however, Italy will have to “commit to withdrawing objections to New Delhi’s membership to four key export control regimes — the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG), Missile Technology Control Regime (MTCR), the Wassenaar Arrangement and the Australia Group”, The Telegraph reported.

As a member of all four clubs “that control the world’s trade in nuclear supplies, high-end missiles, chemicals that can be used for weapons and “dual use” technology”, which can be used for military purposes, the newspaper noted, Italy “had in September vetoed India’s membership application to the MTCR.” Another condition laid down by India is that Italy would need to lighten its pressure on the European Union (EU) “against expediting trade deals with New Delhi”.

King of Mandela’s Clan Jailed for 12 Years in S.Africa

A South African traditional king from Nelson Mandela’s Thembu ethnic group began a 12-year prison sentence Thursday for arson, kidnap and assault of his subjects, after a long battle to stay out of jail.

King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo reported to the Mthatha Correctional Centre in Eastern Cape province overnight after failing in an 11th-hour bid to evade incarceration by seeking a retrial or a presidential pardon.

In 2009, the controversial king was convicted of manslaughter, arson and assault charges for offences committed more than two decades ago…

Eastern Europeans in UK Reject Stereotypes Amid EU Standoff

As Prime Minister David Cameron hunts for a deal on restricting benefits for EU migrants, eastern Europeans in Britain say they are weary of stereotypes casting them as workshy.

With net migration to Britain at record levels, Cameron wants to limit in-work benefits for new arrivals for four years as part of negotiations before a referendum on leaving the bloc due before the end of 2017.

Other EU leaders have voiced concern over his proposal, seeing it as discriminatory, but at a Brussels summit Thursday, all sides agreed to work for a compromise before the next talks in February…

Entire Leftist Media Fails to Remember That Jimmy Carter Banned Iranians From Entering the Country in 1980

In a near-unprecedented manner, White House spokesman Josh Earnest injected President Obama into the presidential race by declaring Trump disqualified for making such a policy recommendation:

The fact is the first thing a president does when he or she takes the oath of office is to swear an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. And the fact is that what Donald Trump said yesterday disqualifies him from serving as president.

There are all sorts of things wrong with Earnest’s statement. First, Obama regularly disregards the Constitution through the expansion of Executive power beyond what the nation’s founding document proscribes for the office, mostly because feckless congressional Republicans refuse to do anything to rein him in. Secondly, as contained in the Constitution, Congress and presidents most certainly do have the authority to make immigration law. And third, in times of war or other national emergency, the president, as commander-in-chief, does indeed have the constitutional authority to scrutinize or even ban certain people from entering the country.

How do we know this? Because liberal darling President Jimmy Carter did the same thing in 1980, when — in the throes of the Iran Hostage Crisis, he banned Iranians from entering the United States. To liberals, truth doesn’t really matter much when there is an agenda to pursue at all costs — namely, that Republicans are evil, maniacal bigots, even when their policies mimic those of Democrats.

Maybe Earnest has never heard of the Internet and “search engines,” for it didn’t take long to find historical documentation of Carter’s then-historical action. From The Harvard Crimson, April 8, 1980:

German Politicians Slam Greece on Migration

Schaeuble also said, the refugee influx meant that European countries will have to increase spending on defence.

“Ultimately our aim must be a joint European army. The funds that we spend on our 28 national armies could be used far more effectively together,” Schaeuble was quoted as saying.

Earlier this year, EU Commission president Jean-Claude Juncker also called for the gradual establishment of an EU army.

He said the European Union needs its own army to help address the problem that it is not “taken entirely seriously” as an international force.

Greek Minister: Now an Influx of Algerian and Moroccan Migrants is Coming

Greece’s Commissioner for Migrant Ioannis Mouzalas has warned of a new influx of Algerian and Moroccan migrants as the continent’s immigration crisis continues to worsen.

Speaking to the country’s Eleftheros Typos newspaper, Mr. Mouzalas, formerly an obstetrician-gynecologist warned: “We have a new phenomenon: Moroccans and Algerians… coming in large numbers”.

Greece is one of the main countries to bear the brunt of the migrant crisis, with its shores, as well as those of Cyprus and Italy, being amongst the key routes into the continent.

He said that the new migrants, who are unlikely to qualify for asylum or refugee status, would have to be returned to their home countries.

HTTP Error 451 Now Adopted as Global Standard for Web Pages That Are Censored by Governments

(NaturalNews) Authoritarian governments all over the world — including some that are supposed to be democracies — are increasing their control over content exchanged on the Internet, because the only way they can continue controlling the various issue-oriented narratives is by silencing critics and those with competing ideas.

As noted by Motherboard, there is a new official Internet status code — HTTP 451 — developed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF), the independent group that is responsible for the creation of many of the Internet’s operating standards. So now, when a website has been blocked for so-called “legal reasons” (in other words, the page has been censored by a government), web surfers will be presented with the 451 “error” rather than the more generic 403 “forbidden” error…

The code has been under development for about two years. It was first introduced by software engineer Tim Bray in 2013 after he was inspired by a 2012 blog post written by security analyst Terence Eden, whose call then for a censorship error code was plain:

My ISP have recently been ordered to censor The Pirate Bay. They have done so unwillingly and, it would seem, have complied only with the letter of the ruling. Their block is, for now, trivial to circumvent. I am concerned that this censorship will become more prevalent. As network neutrality dies, we will see more sites ordered to be blocked by governments who fear what they cannot understand.

As such, Eden proposed a new code and then Bray took up the cause. He selected “451” in reference to author Ray Bradbury’s dystopian novel about censorship, Fahrenheit 451. But of course, web standards take some time to be approved and implemented.

  1. Baron and Dymphna, this was a spectacular hour for me this morning. You are the only people I know of (and I realize I’m ignorant of what all is “out there”) who present ALL of the news. It is amazing and I don’t know how you do it but I’m glad you do DO IT.

Sometimes, it is too much to take in, but most of the time it is very educational since what our local paper prints never touches most of these topics or locations.

I was intrigued by the Cargill report. Living in Kansas, I am familiar with this company in a distant (ie, news) way — but that they had the manly equipment to fire the Somalis really impressed me. In my working life days, you did not bring your religion to work with you — you were there to work and if you wanted to pray you had your breaks and your lunch time in which to do it.

This is America! Not some backward middle eastern hell-hole. I would actually recommend sending these people back to Somalia, where they will feel at home again.

Sorry if I sound like a loud American, but I was an immigrant when I came to America and our family embraced America whole-heartedly. So I am of the school that says: America, love it or leave it (and don’t let the door hit you in the butt on the way out).

I am really tired of “refugees” coming here and then trying to turn our country into a carbon copy of what they fled away from.

  2. ” In other news, a Moroccan man was deported from Italy for saying that he planned to blow up Rome. He also said that Rome would be the starting place for the Islamic conquest of Europe. ”

The Moroccan man, who was cordially invited as a member of the army to invade Europe is telling the truth about the age-old dream of the followers of Pirate and his companions like Kara Mustafa. That’s a natural inborn sentiment in the Invaders.

    Nothing strange about that.

What is strange is the infidel Europe does not get it. Europeans nowadays do not have the ability to imagine, to have vision of the situations that will form in the future from the present trends, and most importantly have no will to decide against the tides and intentions that are flooding us and carrying us to perdition. Just the opposite the traitors call these destructive tides by strange names: culture enrichers, diversity, integration, embracing the different, . . . etc. of this rubbish.

Given the pitiful abysmal deliberate superficiality and utter stupidity, of the western rulers/ traitors, that Moroccan man’s dream is not far-fetched and not implausible.

If the home owner colludes with the burglar they can yegg the house without punishment.

British were so civilized that their policemen would roam the streets without carrying a weapon.

Today muslim/ invaders islamic shariah enforcers roam the streets of the old miserable, dying empire, enforce their shariah laws unbothered. A strong government inside a feeble one, which is kicking just before its death.

How could a so-called civilized country do to itself such a heinous thing is beyond comprehension. How could criminals with such magnitude go unpunished.
Hey invaders, marry four have 32 children, go on welfare ( dole) eliminate the infidels, and they will applaud your victory. That’s how stupid infidels are.

Ah Britain the mother of all Muslim Brotherhoods.

    • Not sure about your leap from Rome to Britain, Murad, but in the UK, notwithstanding our status as subjects rather than citizens, it is still a common assumption that the police operate by consent. They prefer not to be armed, except under special circumstances, and we feel comfortable with that.

Maybe naive, and increasingly unrealistic under current threats of terrorism, but if it becomes routine for them to be armed, many fear that it will become the norm for (non-terrorist) criminals to carry guns. Until this happens, I’m not sure either of us should make pronouncements.

      • How does that work? If cops carry guns, non-terrorist criminals who don’t have them will get them? That makes some sense only if cops do not trouble such criminals now because of their utter ineffectiveness.
