UC Merced Stabber: Al Sunna, The Way of Mohammed

Anestos Canelides’ latest essay concerns Faisal Mohammad, the young culture-enricher who stabbed and injured four people at the University of California Merced on November 4 before being shot dead by campus police. Publication of this piece was delayed first by the Paris Massacre and then by the San Bernardino Massacre. Yet it is closely related to both events, even though the incident in Merced was of lesser scope — in all these cases, the perpetrators were following the Way of Mohammed.

UC Merced Stabber: Al Sunna, The Way of Mohammed

by Anestos Canelides

Current reports have now identified Faisal Mohammad, the UC Merced stabber, as a follower of ISIS and other extremist Muslim organizations. His was not a case of anger or mental illness; he was simply following the way of Mohammed, or what is called Al Sunna.

To understand why he committed this act of violence, we have to have a better knowledge of political Islam and the terms it uses. We also need to understand the violent doctrine of Al Sunna that the stabber most likely learned from reading the Sira — the biography of Mohammed — and the Hadiths or traditions. As a truly orthodox Muslim he believed it was the will of Allah that he should stab his fellow students in class.

Concerning the UC Merced stabber, in the daily intercourse on Facebook one could learn how amazingly ignorant many Leftists are, who simply do not understand the true nature of political Islam. when the topic of Islamic terrorism comes up, these Islamic apologists usually go off-topic and bring up the wrongs done by Christians, or by what is written in the Old Testament. Most of them have never read the Qur’an, the Sira, or the Hadiths, and do not have any concept what is meant by Al Sunna, or the Way of Mohammed.

As Dr. Bill Warner, a scholar of Islam, says: In Christianity it is often asked, “What would Jesus do?” In Islam the question “What would Muhammad do?” is answered by Al Sunna.

Most of the text of Islam’s three sacred books speaks about the Kafir or the unbeliever, which makes Islam more political than religious. According to Dr. Warner, 60% of the trilogy is committed to the Kafir. In the Hadiths the topic takes up 37%, in the Qur’an 62%, and in the Sira 37%.

Islam dedicates a lot of space to the Kafir, who are also called: polytheists, atheists, agnostics, people of the book (Christians and Jews) and pagans. But no matter what their religion, they are they all treated with the same hostility, and are to be dominated by Islam under Al Sunna, or the way of Muhammad.

According to Islamic doctrine a kafir is not merely someone who does not agree with Islam. A Kafir is considered evil and the lowest form of life. He is someone who can be deceived, tortured, hated, enslaved, killed, lied to, and cheated.

Those Muslims who follow Al Sunna, “What did Mohammed do”, are often referred to as “radical Muslims” or sometimes “orthodox Muslims”. A more fitting name for them, however, would be “Al Sunna Muslims” — which should not be confused with Sunni Muslims.

The Qur’an is clear about what Mohammed did with the Kafir of his time. A true Muslim must follow this example, as ISIS does.

Qur’anic references:

    A Kafir can be mocked
83:34   On that day the faithful will mock the Kafir, while they sit on bridal couches and watch them. Should not the Kafir be paid back for what they did?
    A Kafir can be beheaded
47:4   When you encounter the Kafirs on the battlefield, cut off their heads until you have thoroughly defeated them and then take the prisoners and tie them up firmly.
A Kafir can be plotted against
They plot and scheme against you (Muhammad) and I plot and scheme against them, therefore deal calmly with the Kafir and leave them alone for a while.
    A Kafir can be terrorized
8:12   Then the Lord spoke to His angels and said, “I will be with you. Give strength to the believers. I will send terror into the Kafirs hearts, cut off their heads and even the tip of their fingers!”
A Muslim is not the friend of a Kafir
Believers should not take Kafirs as friends to preference to other believers. Those who do this will have none of Allah’s protection and will only have themselves as guards. Allah warns you to fear Him for all will return to Him.
    A Kafir is cursed
33:60   They (Kafirs) will be cursed, whenever they are found, they will be seized and murdered. It was Allah’s same practice with those who came before them, you will find no change in Allah’s ways.

The Merced stabber was truly Al Sunna, and he was doing exactly what Mohammed did as Islam’s so-called Prophet. There are many examples of applied Al Sunna to be found in current events as well as in history. The terrorist group known as the Islamic State or ISIS is a very good example of Al Sunna.

This does not mean that all Muslims are terrorists, which is a good thing, considering that there are 1.7 billion Muslims in the world. Imagine what a hell our lives would become if all Muslims followed Al Sunna and did what Mohammed did!

With President Obama allowing in more so-called “refugees” into America this will only get worse. Which is a good reason why all Americans should support the Second Amendment.

  1. How long I wonder before the Muslims in our midst surface a few thousand of their best and brightest to have an all out nationwide go at the kafir in the street? Say thousands of fill in the blank ******ings? Nothing is safe or off limits to these characters. You name it. Nothing.

  2. Activity levels of Muslims has been correlated to percentage of total population. Right now Muslims constitute (pun intended) one percent of America. IF they ever become the majority here, non-Muslim population will eventually drift to zero. Granted an unlikely scenario, unless we neglect our Rights and Freedoms.

    • “Granted unlikely”. Ha ha. If ever anything was a certainty this is without a doubt it. It’s got that nothing more uncertain than life – nothing surer than death something about it. Muslims are the death knell for the west.

    • I’ve had a maddening “debate” on another site with someone who insists that every fact I adduce about Islamic doctrine or history or the observable consequences of importing large Muslim populations into Western societies is necessarily a matter of “religious bigotry.”

The person never refutes anything I write, except with comments like “I have a Muslim friend and he says that almost every Muslim hates the terrorists”; or “I know someone who worked in a Muslim country and knew a lot of nice Muslims.”

Many people simply don’t pay attention to larger patterns. They believe that the existence of nice Muslims (i.e. people born into the creed) disproves the claim that there’s a problem in Islam itself.

If they bother to gain some awareness of Islamic doctrine, they’ll say that those teachings don’t make Islam bad because … the Bible has violence too! and look at the Troubles in Ireland!

If you point to the menace and violence in Europe’s Islamized suburbs, they’ll say it’s rooted in economic marginalization; or say there are criminals in every population.

I think the satisfaction that some people get in calling other people bigots can overwhelm any interest in looking squarely at facts.

  3. My observations, general, not necessarily Moslem- related:
As long as a minority remains below 5% in country X, everything is hunky-dory. Between 5-10%, there are some problems, but nothing too major.
Once a minority surpasses 10% of the total population, really big problems start to develop.
This formula seems to apply just about anywhere in then world, regardless of who the minority is, who the majority is or which one is in charge.

Normally, I would say that the Moslem population in most of the US is way too small to provide the support network they would need for ‘sleeper cells’ or major operations like the Paris attacks, but in this world of iphones, instagrams, Facebooks, Twittersd and what not, the Umma is better connected than ever, maybe a local network is no longer necessary. And if you don’t plan on making it out of the mall you’re attacking alive, you obviously don’t need a safe house to run to.

    • Not too obvious is it? What’s a sliced, diced, multi cut, multi-cultured, multi-lingual, dumbed down, misread, mislead, open bordered disingenuous people to do?

      • Multilingual isn’t bad, in fact, learning a little Arabic might come in handy if it helps you understand when the nice ladies in the long black veils start talking hand grenades and Uzis.
As an average person, there’s not much you can do about hijacked planes, dirty bombs, running gun battles with police or mass kidnappings/executions, except vote for people who you believe might actually try to stop the insanity.
What you can do is stay vigilant in daily life, get in the best shape possible (most Arabs don’t believe in sports), take some self-defense classes (not every mujahedi carries a machine gun), acquire some type of weapon and learn how to use it.
If your city/state/country makes it impossible to own a firearm, get something else. That’s how martial arts developed in east Asia, under extremely restrictive governments where the general population was not allowed to own even edged weapons.
Inform yourself as much as you can, which includes history books, things like an Armed Forces survival manual may also come in handy for when the New Middle Ages really kick off.
Btw, no, I’m not a survivalist prepper nut, I’d rather be watching the Winnie the Pooh Christmas special, but sometimes, things come up that have to take precedence.

        • There are millions of strong healthy highly disciplined decorated vets in all western who know exactly what you mean – and do. I imagine.

  4. Bill Warner’s website, Political Islam is excellent. Instead of the topic bring framed in terms of whether one is a racist of not, there ought to be a public discussion, involving Muslims, on a comparison of the two value systems – Islam and Democracy based on Human Rights.

Then we’ll see how Muslims can justify their monstrous beliefs and how the Left can pretend that Islam is good when it abhors every one of their Marxist PC assumptions.

  5. I worked with one Muslim who gave me his Muslim propaganda in hopes to convert me to the religion of pieces. I read the first paragraph in his booklet Clearing Doubts about Islam and just in the first paragraph I could see the Taqiyya or lie. Once I tell him I don’t want to become a Muslim I hope he does not follow the example of Mohammed and turn Sunna on me- LOL

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has been accused of deleting intelligence records relating to dangerous Islamists linked to terrorists Sayed Farook and Tashfeen Malik, because they wanted to protect the “civil liberties” of members of the caliphate-supporting network.

Phil Haney, a U.S. Customs and Border Patrol analyst, says he was ordered to stop investigating Deobandi Islamist groups and his work on them was erased. He even says he was subjected to a disciplinary when he attempted to blow the whistle.

If he’d been allowed to continue his investigation, he claims Malik’s visa application would have been flagged for greater scrutiny.

He explained: “The administration was more concerned about the civil rights and liberties of foreign Islamic groups with terrorist ties than the safety and security of Americans”.

Analyst Phil Haney told Fox News that he once worked as a researcher looking into potential terrorists in the Passenger Analysis Units at the Department of Homeland Security in Atlanta, as well as at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s National Targeting Center.

Mr. Haney says that he had been identifying and tracking members of the al-Huda and Tablighi Jamaat groups, offshoots of the radical Deobandi school of Islam, which was founded in British colonial India specifically to oppose western culture.

Tablighi Jamaat is a Deobandi revivalist movement whose mandate is, according to its leading advocate Ebrahim Rangooni, to save the Muslim world “from the culture and civilisation of the Jews and the Christians…” To this end, he has suggested cultivating “such hatred for their ways as human beings have to urine and excrement.”

    • If all things were equal, impeachment would have happened a long time ago. However, with this first “black” president, they aren’t equal and thus we need to be practical, if only for strategic reasons.

The professional grievance industry in this country has succeeded past even its own wildest expectations in hooking up the subject of Race to an electric generator and then charged the darn thing so high that we’re long past the point of being safe in mentioning it.

Thus, for the sake of our country – what remains of it – we need to avoid impeaching BHO for the many instances of his treasonous and contemptible behavior. That doesn’t mean our Congress couldn’t hogtie him to the point of preventing any more disasters. There’s only one problem with that: the leaders in both the House and Senate are equally bought and paid for so not even that small effort would ever happen. BHO is at the head of a humongous and humongously corrupt system which includes all those unaccountable federal agencies whose only function is to figure out new ways to spend tax revenues and/or limit our freedoms.

“Impeachment” belongs to another century, as does much of our Constitution.

  7. “This does not mean that all Muslims are terrorists, which is a good thing, considering that there are 1.7 billion Muslims in the world.”

Wow, the number of world Muslims keeps growing by leaps and bounds — as an artifact when individuals liberally tweak that decimal point, apparently. I think the actually number is more like 1.3 billion.

Secondly, the above quote implies that all we have to worry about is ostensible terrorism, and that therefore when Muslims are ostensibly “not terrorists” we conclude… what? That they are not still enabling terrorism and the jihad which is the larger necessary context of terrorism? Given the mountains of data we have about the problem of Islam, we reasonably conclude the following:

    1) innumerable Muslims are plotting horrific attacks in the West worse than 911

    2) these attacks will be numerous and will involve WMDs and other ingenious techniques to inflict mass carnage and infrastructure destruction

    3) these attacks will take years, maybe decades of patient planning — mainly because the nature of the attacks and the higher suspicion all Western countries are cultivating (in incoherent tension with the phobia about “racism” against Muslims which the West also cultivates)

    4) the patient, meticulous and complex planning required to pull off a series of attacks worse than 911 will require a broader demographic of Muslims accepted in the West, to provide cover for those among them who are plotting these attacks

    5) we have no way of ferreting out the ones plotting the attacks and distinguishing them from the wider demographic of seemingly benign Muslims among them

    6) #5 is also not factoring in the reasonable fact we infer — that additional innumerable Muslims who are “not terrorists” are nevertheless countenancing the active terrorists and even providing them various forms of enablement (e.g., an otherwise harmless Muslim family receives a series of packages from Fed-Ex over the span of a year or two and keeps them in the back room of the grocery store Uncle Habib owns, and once every three months his nephew Rasheed comes by to pick up the packages, and no questions asked; etc.)

    7) Muslims are going to continue to get worse — horribly worse — over the coming decades.

Reasonable conclusion we must make, if we put our society’s safety above our anxious concern not to be “bigoted” — All Muslims are suspect. So that leaves us only two choices: 1) treat all Muslims in the West as though they were living in a Police State, which will eventually lead to horrendous civil unrest inside the West leading to mass killings on both sides; or 2) deport them all and don’t allow any more in.

Too many in the counter-jihad keep fooling themselves into thinking that we are not going to be forced to choose one or the other, and that we can just ride the fence of indecision forever. Sure we could, if #7 above were not true….

    • Hesperado, that number keeps increasing because Muslims reproduce like Catholics used to do, only they raise the ante by using polygamy to do so…someone ought to have one of those population counters – but it would have to be calibrated to account for the many deaths by jihad. They usually take more Muslims with them than they manage to eliminate kuffar.

All these years later and jihad is still in beta mode.

    • we have no way of ferreting out the ones plotting the attacks and distinguishing them from the wider demographic of seemingly benign Muslims among them

We do have a way to distinguish them. David Yerushalmi and his cohorts did an excellent anthropological investigation to uncover radical mosques based on specific behaviors by the Muslim congregations and the behaviors of their imams.

Back in 2011 he published those findings. I did a review of his work, quoting others who were also heartened by the fact he’d found a methodology of separating the peaceful from the murderous:

Obviously, DY had cohorts who went undercover to gather this information. They deserve a medal for doing so. This wasn’t a dash-in, get the material and leave. Those people attended specific mosques for an extended period to accumulate their information.

What surprised me was the 20% of mosques which were NOT radicalized. That must be a difficult position to maintain.

The link to the original study is in my review…
I’m curious – and this is a genuine question, not a rhetorical snark – If it is as you say, that “too many in the counterjihad keep fooling themselves” – what do *you* gain by continuing to point out our folly??

I’ve never understood your dogged pursuit of what you appear to consider the folly (at best) of those of us who continue to chronicle Islam’s inroads. It would seem you believe our quest for the truth must needs be followed by some robust ACTION or other. Our failure to perform some kind of pushback thereby invalidates our work in your eyes. Or so it would seem.

Do you also believe, Hesperado, that all journalists ought to be permitted to chronicle a murder story only if they can prove they also caught the criminal?
