While Europe is being trampled to death, we have our minor distractions here. I hope the whole enchilada of stupidity that comprises this story makes someone smile. The story is out in a myriad of forms — the Left wants to make him one of Obama’s sons while the Right is ROTFLTAO. Just depends on your perspective…

A lot of verbiage has flowed along the Media River since this story first emerged upstream.

As it came closer to our place along the shore we began to look more closely at it. More “closely” but not more seriously. How seriously can you take any narrative kept afloat only by the assistance of the legacy media?

The planks on this craft are cut from the same balsa wood our fine jornolists use for the majority of the fragile boats designed to fit their flim-flam Narrative. After all, these things aren’t meant to last; they only have to stay afloat until the next new outrage is launched and grabs their short-sighted attention.

So the USS Muslim Boy With Bomb Science Project was built to the usual MSM’s sketchy specs. It had all the features designed to draw the attention of those who love shallow-water make-believe fairy tales.[Note: are we still allowed to say “fairy”? I can’t remember all the verboten words anymore, Besides, the list keeps changing.] Perhaps these people watch too many movies and are accustomed to the spell cast by special effects so the case bomb fell — as they say in medicine — WNL, Within Normal Limits. WNL, that is, for those the Hopey Changers who subsist on fairy dust and unicorn droppings? “Normal” if you’re a certifiable fruit loop.

A bright 14-year old student brought a homemade clock into MacArthur High School in Irving, Texas to impress a teacher. But instead of earning praise for his engineering skills and innovation, he was handcuffed, hauled off by police and suspended from school.

Since he’s a dark-skinned Muslim, the political Left fell in love with this floating pos story. The MSM is big on melanin amounts (though not so much when it comes to actually hiring the darker-hued among us. They prefer love at a distance).

This scam might have worked except that reality crept in on little cat feet, fogging up their current great story. Drat!

The Daily Caller continues with an excellent fisking of this scam. I mean, they like dug up the facts on the family of this kid… made me wish I’d paid attention sooner, as in before this kid got his invite to the U.N. Whatev.

Given that many Europeans, especially those with left-wing sympathies, have great love for Palestinians, let us have a closer look at what some Palestinian Arabs think about Europeans. At the famous Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem,[1] the third holiest site in Islam after Mecca and Medina, the leading imam Sheikh Muhammad Ayed gave a speech in 2015 to Palestinian Muslims.[2] He said that Europe was facing a demographic disaster with low birth rates, and urged Muslims to have children with Europeans so they could “trample them underfoot, Allah willing.” Since Muslim women according to traditional Islamic law are forbidden from marrying or having children with non-Muslim men, he was essentially calling on Muslim men to conquer Europe through its women. Muhammad Ayed further stated that “We will give them fertility. We will breed children with them, because we shall conquer their countries.”

True, the person saying this was just one man. But he was a prominent man stating this openly in the heartland of the Arab world and in one of the holiest sites in the entire Islamic world. In 2007 the powerful Islamic cleric Yusuf Qaradawi also stated that Islam will “conquer” Europe.[3] He said that this does not necessarily have to happen through war. We can be quite sure that there are other Muslims out there who are thinking the same thing. Right now, thousands of Muslims are forcing their way uninvited into Europe on a daily basis. Most of them do not carry guns. They don’t need to. They have found the Achilles heel of the Europeans: As long as they cry a little bit on TV and look miserable, any resilience or resistance among the Europeans will soon evaporate. Quite a few Europeans will even help them into Europe and say “refugees welcome,” even though most of the newcomers are not refugees. Frankly, some of them are so aggressive that they behave more as conquerors.

The Islamic calendar does not begin with Muhammad’s birth or his first religious sermons, nor with the creation of the universe. The Islamic calendar starts in the year 622 of the Christian era with Muhammad’s migration or flight (hijra) from Mecca to the city of Yathrib, which was later called Madinat an-Nabi (the Prophet’s City) or simply Medina. In Medina, Muhammad for the first time became not only a religious, but also a military and political leader.

This, at least, is what Muslims believe. Many Western historians seriously question whether Islam’s early history has been truthfully told. The chapters of the Koran that allegedly stem from the Medina period are significantly more militant, intolerant and aggressive than those stemming from the early period in Mecca. This fact represents a nearly insurmountable obstacle to Islamic reform because the later, violent chapters cancel out the early, slightly more tolerant ones. From Medina, Muhammad’s Muslims waged war against neighbors who were not Muslims, looted their belongings, killed them and took their women as slaves. Eventually, they also conquered Mecca, forcing other cities to submit to Islamic rule. The Islamic chronology began with migration, followed by Jihad.

This is something modern Europeans should ponder.

Women As Brutal Honor Killers

Dr. Phyllis Chesler is a leader in the field of research into some of the “cultural” practices that harm (mostly) Muslim women who are forced to live with Damocles’ sword hanging over their young heads. In this report she mentions other sects, Yazidis in Iraq, Sikhs in India, etc., but might one not consider these outliers simply to be cases of cultural contamination? In other words, where Islam is the dominant culture it could well be that some of its more deleterious views of the world and woman’s place in it eventually skew other religions and cultures living cheek-by-jowl with overbearing Islam. Whatever the cause, women in these cultures are at risk in ways that Christian and Jewish women don’t face within their communities (though some ultra-Orthodox Jews and Christians have similar views on the inferiority of women. However, that’s not the common practice for the majority and it’s not aligned with so-called “honor” and its subsequent murders of family members).

What follows is an excerpt of Dr. Chesler’s latest report with some of my own interpolations. I eliminated both the footnotes and the charts, but they are available at the original site. All the emphases in these excerpts are mine; they do not appear in the original work.

Dr. Chesler’s latest findings, published in the current edition of The Middle East Forum, are an unblinking, updated gaze into the reality of butchery before after perceived dishonor for the victims caught in the snares of this primitive barbarity.

Dr. Chesler says:

Female-on-female violence has been minimized because male-on-female violence is far more visible, dramatic, and epidemic. However, women sometimes kill infants, spouses, and adult strangers, including other women. Indeed, as this study shows, women play a very active role in honor-based femicide, both by spreading the gossip underlying such murders and by acting as conspirator-accomplices and/or hands-on-killers in the honor killing of female relatives.

A Deeper Look

In order to explore this phenomenon, this author conducted an original, non-random, qualitative study of 31 honor killings (26 cases) in North America, Europe, India, and Muslim-majority countries, where women were named as hands-on killers and/or conspirator-accomplices in the media.

All of these honor killings took place between 1989 and 2013. Eighty-seven per-cent were Muslim-on-Muslim crimes; the remaining 13 percent were committed by Hindus, Sikhs, and Yazidis. Women were hands-on killers in 39 percent of these cases and served as conspirator-accomplices 61 percent of the time.In India, women were hands-on killers 100 percent of the time.

One case she cites is notable for the numbers of female family members who died at the hands of just one “Canadian” matriarch. Under an image of this woman and her male accomplices is the legend:

Female perpetrators and accomplices in honor killings, like their male counterparts, can be calculating, brutal, and without remorse. Tooba Yahya Shafia (center) of Canada was directly involved with her husband and son in the murder of three of her daughters and her husband’s first wife.

Even if you’re numbed by the years of more generalized reports we’ve been posting, that vignette chills the heart.

Dr. Chesler notes some geographical differences underneath the similar motives for these barbarities:

Hands-on killers and conspirator-accomplices killed for the same reasons: They saw their victims as “too Western” or as “sexually inappropriate.” Motive varied as a function of region. Both hands-on killers and conspirator-accomplices viewed their victims as “too Western” 77 percent of the time. Sixty-seven percent of female hands-on killers and 84 percent of conspirator-accomplices perceived their victims this way. (See Charts 2 and 3 below [at the ME Forum url]) In Muslim-majority countries, only 43 percent of victims were killed for this reason.

However, in the West, the mainly Muslim victims in North America were viewed as “too Western” 91 percent of the time and 100 percent of the time in Europe. (See Chart 1 [at the ME Forum url above] for definitions of “too Western.”)

Twenty-three percent of victims were killed for committing an act of “sexual impropriety.” However, in Muslim-majority countries, 57 percent of victims, and, in predominantly Muslim areas of India, 33 percent of victims, were killed for this reason as compared to only 9 percent in North America; there were no honor killings for this reason in Europe.

The Narratives behind the Facts

The above statistics tell only part of the story. What emerges from the narratives of these cases is that the majority of both hands-on killers and conspirator-accomplices blamed their victims for their gruesome fate and are calculating, cold, and self-righteous women. Both female hands-on killers and conspirator-accomplices physically and verbally abused, monitored, and stalked their victims, warning them of dire consequences if they failed to obey the rules. Some issued clear death threats.

Shafilea Ahmed was a 17-year-old Pakistani-Muslim-British girl. Her parents carried out her slow suffocation murder in front of their other young children, warning them that they “would be killed if they ever revealed the truth.” Almost a decade later, perhaps fearing for her own life, Shafilea’s sister Alesha approached the police. She said their mother “began the attack with the words ‘Just finish it here.’” During the murder, the mother said to one of her younger daughters, “You will be next” and “Shut up, or you are dead.”

I don’t have the heart to cut and paste the other stories Dr. Chesler collected, but there is one which stands out to me as a possible case of envy rather than “honor”;…

Geert Wilders: “This Is Cultural Kamikaze”

Last Wednesday Geert Wilders opened a debate on the “refugee crisis” in the lower house (Tweede Kamer) of the Dutch Parliament. It was part of the annual General Political Debate for the upcoming year.

Even for those who don’t understand his language, Mr. Wilders’ words are electrifying, especially when one can follow their meaning in the subtitles. For those who cannot listen to the entire debate, I strongly recommend reading the transcript of what was said, which is included at the bottom of this post.

This presentation is yet more evidence that Geert Wilders is the de facto global leader of the Counterjihad movement.

A Syrian refugee in Germany has died after consuming a poisonous mushroom. It is thought that he confused the fungus with an edible species of similar appearance that grows wild in his native region.

In other migration news, with winter on the way, Finland is doing its part to help the migrants by sending special large cold-weather tents to Hungary. Meanwhile, the Greek coast guard rescued 144 more migrants in the Aegean.

In other news, a recent study concluded that Afrophobic hate crimes are on the rise in Sweden.

After a lengthy sabbatical, our Norwegian correspondent The Observer returns to let off some steam about the European “migration crisis”.

In the real-time tear-jerking mockumentary which we are being bombarded with these days on Cry-TV and in the Bash-Whitey Media, hundreds of thousands of uninvited illiterate, ungrateful and very hostile illegal immigrants are gate-crashing their way onto the European mainland. It has been described as “a humanitarian catastrophe of epic proportions” by the MSM and the emissaries of impeccable morals, who have bestowed upon themselves the privilege to redefine what is acceptable and what is unacceptable, what words we are allowed to utter, what posts we’re allowed to like on Facebook, which tweets we are allowed to retweet on Twitter, how to express our emotions and when to just shut up and keep quiet.

True, it is a human catastrophe of epic proportions, but not in the way that the humanitarian mini-Goebbels of the West would like to portray it. It’s a humanitarian catastrophe for the indigenous peoples of Europe who have been told repeatedly that they have a moral responsibility to feed, house and accommodate a sea of illegal immigrants, many of whom are directly hostile to them, who most definitely will be unable to look after themselves financially, and who will alter the cultural makeup of the continent until it’s completely unrecognizable.

But this is fine, because this is exactly what the elites in the West want. They see it as a good thing. After all, Multiculturalism is the religion of choice among the morally superior these days. And they get to dictate and pontificate over the whining and racists plebs who are significantly less thrilled about the Third-World tsunami rushing towards them than they are. These members of the elite share the same visions as their co-religionists in the Mohammedan world; the only difference is that while in Islam the practitioners prostrate five times a day, the practitioners of Multiculturalism bend over backwards all day long.

And after a while all this backwards-bending seriously affects their thinking, and they stop seeing the outrageousness of their actions. After wandering around in a multicultural la-la haze for an extended period of time, throwing the doors open wide and inviting people from all corners of the globe to come and take part in the wrecking derby which is the slow and thorough deconstruction of modern day Europe seem like the proper and sensible thing to do. They also believe that slamming and bullying anyone who does not share their views is the apex of human morality.

Rest assured: they do not care that time is running out fast. They do not care that if things do not change dramatically very quickly, the escalating humanitarian catastrophe will most likely morph into civil unrest and full-blown wars with all the nastiness that this entails. Nothing could be further from their minds. All they care about is “our moral obligation”, international conventions, dialogue, harmony, social cohesion and exposing racism and bigotry “for what it is”. Feel-good words are more important than facing reality head-on and exhibiting true leadership. Unfortunately, the silent majority don’t hold them to account, but seem to be quite comfortable with the destruction and misery that the elites are wreaking upon them. It’s a real-life Greek tragedy played out on the political stage on a continent run by madmen.

But what we are seeing today is not a random unavoidable event. It’s a product of a very clever military strategy employed by an emboldened enemy who is high on Western weakness and obsequiousness and hell-bent on conquering our lands and ridding them of anything that they perceive as having corrupt classical liberal ideals. And sadly this is no longer a farfetched pipe dream that will never see the light of day. It is within their reach, and if they succeed they will introduce their religion and philosophy, which is as far removed from liberal ideals as women’s rights are removed from the judicial system in Saudi Arabia. If they succeed, there will not be any opt-out clauses for those who are uncomfortable with a political system that makes the rulers of the Stone Age look like modern-day progressives. It’s all in or out with a bang — or a noose around the neck.

Geert Wilders’ Party is the Largest in The Netherlands

Geert Wilders is the leader of the Party for Freedom (Partij voor de Vrijheid, PVV) in the Netherlands. According to the latest opinion polls, the PVV not only remains the most popular Dutch party, but has increased its lead even further.

The PVV sent out this notice yesterday:

The PVV party again won 3 seats in the latest poll from today. Wilders was judged the winner of the most important debate of the week — the opening of the parliamentary year — both by professionals and by the people.

Where the PVV had a virtual 22 of the 150 seats a few weeks ago, the party now polls at 29, and is as big as the two governing coalition parties VVD and PvdA combined. Here are the numbers:

Syrian Christian Fears ISIS Mujahideen at German Refugee Camp

It’s been obvious since the beginning of the European “migration crisis” that the Islamic State and other jihad groups could be expected to take the opportunity to send their mujahideen into Europe disguised as “refugees”. The following report from Germany provides just one example showing the likelihood that this is in fact what is happening.

At the Reception Center in Giessen: Syrian Christian is Afraid of IS Supporters Amongst the Refugees

At the Reception Center in Giessen lives a young Syrian Christian man by the name of Bashar Baroma. He is afraid and he can’t sleep at night anymore. He worries that there are supporters of the Islamic State (IS) amongst the many refugees in camp.

He reports that they repeat loudly certain verses of the Koran, which awaken terrible memories in his mind. They are verses and words that IS fighters chant, before they cut the heads off their victims.

“I can’t remain here, with the IS and everything. I am a Christian and I am afraid.”

Gates of Vienna News Feed 9/20/2015

Posting has been light today, but in a good cause: I’ve been working most of the afternoon and evening on a translated transcript of a debate from last week in the Dutch parliament between Geert Wilders and various lefties. The topic of the debate was the European “migration crisis”, and the video is more than an hour long. I’ve been working on the timing and the editing, and it’s taking a lot longer than I thought it would. It’s an important video — the debate has received widespread attention in the Netherlands — so I’m taking great care preparing it for subtitling. Please be patient.

In “migration” news, Austria took in 15,000 new “refugees” over the weekend from Croatia and Hungary. Meanwhile, dozens more would-be immigrants are feared to have drowned in the Aegean.

In other news, the Eiffel Tower was closed for several hours while police investigated a possible terrorist incident. One or more men were seen ascending the tower carrying big rucksacks, but they may have been extreme sports enthusiasts who later parachuted from the landmark under cover of darkness.

A small anti-immigration protest was staged in Helsinki today, and there was also a demonstration at the border with Sweden. A group of pro-refugee demonstrators held their own event on the Swedish side of the border. Meanwhile, 4,500 illegal immigrants were rescued in one day off the coast of Libya.

In other news, Pope Francis arrived in the Western Hemisphere to visit Cuba and the United States.

Czechs and Slovaks Against Refugees and Merkel

The member states of the European Union that are behind the former Iron Curtain are mounting the strongest resistance against the push to accept refugees, which is being led by Germany. They may eventually face EU fines for their stubbornness, and may even be willing to exit Schengen and/or the EU to avoid having to take their share of migrants. The big question is: could their economies withstand the damage in the event of such an outcome?

Czechia is scaring refugees off with brutal deportation camps. The Prime minister of Slovakia considers the acceptance of immigrants a “crazy idea.” Their goal: stop distribution quotas.

During the night between Monday and Tuesday, thousands of refugees traveled unhindered from Budapest, through Vienna to Germany. 200 others chose the wrong route. They wanted to go to Germany by way of Slovakia and Czechia. But it ended in the Slovak-Czech border train station Breclav. Units of the Czech police were already waiting for the trains, and took the immigrants off, including 61 children.

They put handcuffs on some of them and shipped them to gyms nearby, Later, they went from these to refugee- or deportation camps. “All we did was uphold our laws and the Dublin Treaty, independently of whatever other countries are doing,” was how the government defended their approach.

The follow-up procedure: If an asylum seeker can be directed to another EU country, he is sent there. The others are interned in deportation camps behind high walls topped by razor wire. They have to surrender all their worldly goods and cell phones and have to pay for the food they receive.

Practically No One Applies for Asylum in Czechia

After about four weeks they are shown the next train station on the way to Germany, and it is determined whether they have money for the ticket. The idea is to get rid of these people as fast as possible. And, as they depart, it would be best if they used their re-possessed cell phones to warn their relatives at home not to set foot on Czech soil. Next to no one who has gone through this kind of camp seeks asylum in Czechia.

Mob Violence at the Hungarian Border

A few days ago, just after Hungary closed and fortified its border crossings with Serbia, a crowd of “refugees” stormed the new fence, breaking down a gate and attempting to climb over into Hungary. They were met with pepper spray and tear gas, and the photos of people choking and coughing were what made the media news reports — especially clips in which women and children were visible.

However, if you examine the raw footage from those incidents (RT is the best source), you’ll notice that more than 80%, perhaps 90%, of the rioters at the border were fit young men. In the unedited footage you can hear them chant “Allahu akhbar”, although this has been omitted from or edited out of most clips shown on MSM outlets.

There were active agitators at the front of the crowd, next to the fence. These kinetic activists were apparently shouting instructions and encouragement to their fellow migrants as they attempted to breach the fence. At least one of the leaders was carrying a megaphone while riding on another man’s shoulders:

Our Hungarian correspondent Dzsihádfigyelő writes to say that the police are now actively searching for the ringleaders of the attack on the border crossing. They stated that the attack against the state border was an act of terrorism, and they want to find the leaders of the crowd. The police website posted the following appeal in Hungarian, English, German, and Arabic:

I See the Hosts of Mohammed Coming

I posted the lyrics to this song some years ago, but that was back before you could find everything on YouTube. This time y’all can actually listen to it.

The artist is Al Stewart, and the song was featured on the album 24 Carrots from (I think) 1981. It’s always been of interest to me, given the times we live in, but it’s never seemed as prophetic as it does now.

The only part he got wrong was “uninvited guests” — they’ve actually been invited in, and given a warm welcome to boot.

I doubt he performs this song anymore when he’s on tour…
